The purpose of this experiment was to prepare an alkyl halide, 2 chloro 2 methylbutane by
reacting 2 methyl 2 butanol (t amyl alcohol) with hydrochloric acid. Alkyl halides are of wide
interest because they are widespread and have diverse beneficial and detrimental impacts .The

1 ml of 2 methyl 2 butanol was measured using 1 ml syringe and transferred into a 5 ml conical
vial. 2.5 ml of highly concentrated Hydrochloric acid was then slowly added while the vial was

Why though? Why is it that video games can not translate into the same box office success that

crucial reasons why video games will never see the same commercial success as other mediums
have: video games are not respected as an art form, Hollywood does not understand gaming, video
games are difficult to translate from an interactive to non interactive medium, and unqualified
directors, who are unfamiliar with both video games and the source material from which they are
adapting from.

on the system. Memory performance and capacity requirements are small for simple, low cost
systems. In contrast, memory throughput can be the most critical requirement in complex, high
performance systems. The following general types of memories can be used in systems such as
Volatile and non volatile memories. SRAM can be found in the cache memory of a computer or
as a part of the RAM digital to analog converters on video cards. Static RAM is also used for
high speed registers, caches and small memory banks like a frame buffer on a display adapter.

The film Grave of the Fireflies expertly depicts World War II from the perspective of two young
Japanese citizens of the city of Kobe. As viewers follow their story they learn several things
such as the hardships of the people of Japan, the endangerment of the regular civilians, and the
unnecessary brutality of the American military. But the film, like all else, has its limitations,
these include prospective and lack of time. Hardship is emphasized everywhere in the film, it is
constantly poking the viewer to see the pain and suffering. This is immediately seen at the
beginning of the film when we see one main character, Seita, on the ground of a train station.
The director uses a pan shot to capture the condition of the boy, through this shot we see that he
is badly famished and struggling for life. The director also uses an extreme close up on the boy
with a fly on his face to convey that he lacks the energy to even swat a fly away. We can also
later see the hardship of losing a family member to the bombings in the other main character,
Setsuko. In the film, she as well as her brother lost their mother. Viewers can see the hardships that
this carries with the author s use of reiteration. Again and again Setsuko is shown crying over their
mother, asking about her, among other reactions due to the sudden loss of their mother. The fact
that she keeps struggling with this loss shows the extent of the pain that this direct result of World
