3. Attendance
Say present if your name is called.
It’s good to hear that most of you are
present today.
4. Agreement
Class, before we start a new lesson for today’s
discussion. Let’s have first an agreement.
Are you all okay with that?
What will you do if there is a person talking in front?
Okay, what will you do if you want to ask questions?
Lastly, what will you do if there are activities?
Are we clear?
Great ma’am
(Students say present)
Yes, ma’am!
We will Listen ma’am.
Raise our right hand ma’am.
Cooperate and participate ma’am.
Yes, ma’am!
A. ELICIT
Before we will tackle our new lesson for this morning,
we will have first a quick review.
What was our past lesson?
What is an endocrine system?
What are the components of an Endocrine System?
Excellent! You’ve indeed learned from the discussion
yesterday. I guess you are ready to listen for our new
lesson this morning.
Are you ready to learn?
Endocrine System ma’am.
An endocrine system controls and regulates
body processes.
Endocrine system is composed of glands
that secrete different types of hormones.
Yes, ma’am.
B. ENGAGE
1. Motivation
Activity 1: GUESS THE GIBBERISH!
Direction: The teacher will show a scramble words
together with the picture. The students will guess and
correct the words.
=MEAL
ANSWERS:
MALE
3. =REROPDUCTVIE
=TESMSY
That’s correct!
So, base on our activity, what do you think is our topic
this morning?
Excellent! So, our topic this morning is all about MALE
REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM.
2. Presentation
At the end of the discussion, the students should be
able to:
1. Explain the parts and function of male reproductive
system.
2. Create a slogan about awareness and tips to keep
male reproductive system healthy.
3. Appreciate the role of hormone testosterone in the
male reproductive system.
REPRODUCTIVE
SYSTEM
Male Reproductive System
(Students read the learning objectives)
C. EXPLORE
Class, to further know more about our lesson about
Male Repproductive System. Let us watch a short
video clip about this topic. Are you willing to listen
class?
The presentation
https://youtu.be/bheiVomaJO0?si=gyKuHrzjjclNGbjQ
After the video presented.
What have you seen in the video?
Where those components belong?
Okay, since you already have understanding about
the Male Reproductive System, we will have another
activity.
Are you ready?
Activity 2: LABEL ME!
Direction: Label the parts of Male Reproductive
System below.
(Students watched the video)
Organs
Male Reproductive System
Yes, ma’am.
4. Time is up!
I see that everyone did a good job.
Let’s do a Very Good clap.
ANSWERS:
(Students do the clap)
D. EXPLAIN
So our topic for this morning is all about “Male
Reproductive System”
Please do listen and take note of the important
words, because after the discussion we will have
another activity.
Male Reproductive System is a complex set of organs
and structures responsible for producing,
transporting, and delivering sperm.
This system plays a crucial role in sexual reproduction.
Testis- responsible for producing sperm and
testosterone, a key male sex hormone.
- An oval-shaped glands are essential for the
process of spermatogenesis, where sperm
cells develop, mature, and are eventually
released for potential fertilization.
Scrotum- Sac that holds and protect the testis.
- Its main function is to regulate the
temperature of the testes to ensure optimal
sperm production.
Penis- Deposits sperm cells into the vagina during
mating.
Sperm cell- provide half of the genetic material
needed to form a fertilized zygote or embryo during
sexual reproduction with an egg in the female body.
Testosterone- plays a key role in development of
male reproductive tissues such as testicles and
prostate.
(Students listen the discussion)
5. - Secondary sexual characteristics such as
increased muscles and bone mass, and the
growth of body hair.
Epididymis- transport sperm from the testes to the
vas deferens.
Vas deferens (tube)- passageway of sperm to travel
from the testes to the urethra.
Urethra- Passage of sperm cells and urine out of the
body.
- Plays a crucial role in both the urinary and
reproductive systems.
Glands that include in production and traportation of
sperm:
Seminal Vesicles- Secretes a fluid that makes up most
of the componentsof the semen.
Prostate gland- Secretes a slightly akaline milky fluid
that is discharged as part of the semen.
Bulbourethral gland(Cowper’s gland)- Secretes a
thick and clear mucus that lubricates and neutralizes
any trace of acidic urine in the urethra.
Why is it important to learn or understand the Male
Reproductive System?
What is the role of hormone testosterone in the male
reproductive system?
Because it is responsible for reproduction
and it provides 50% genetic material to form
an embryo in female body.
It is responsible for the development of
primary and secondary sexual
characteristics in males.
E. ELABORATE
1. Generalization
What are the three glands that provide liquid in which
sperm can swim?
What can testes produce?
What is that tube that serves as the passageway of
sperm cells and urine out of the body?
What organ in male reproductive system deposit
sperm cells into the vagina during mating?
What do you call to the organ protecting the testes?
2. Application
Activity 3: SLOGAN QUEST!
Direction: Create a slogan about the awareness ans
tips to keep the male reproductive healthy.
Seminal vesicle, prostate gland and
bulbourethral gland
Sperm cell and hormones ma’am.
Urethra
Penis
Scrotum
6. Are we clear?
You will be guided by this rubric...
Time is up!
Okay, each representative prepare for the reporting.
Okay, lets give a firework clap for group 1.
Next, group 2
Okay, lets give a nice clap for group 2.
I can see that you already acquired knowledge from
our lesson today. I am so happy because you listen
well and cooperate in our activities.
Yes, ma’am.
