representation of Global Warming and the drastic effects that it can have on this Earth. Although the

Overall, the Roman Empire is perceived as an evil given its unruly authority and power from Satan
himself. Rome s relationship with Satan (the Dragon) is viewed as a partnership. Satan and the Roman
Empire both wanted to persecute Christians, and Satan provided Rome with the opportunity to do so

Alan Mann s Life Story Alan Mann was born in 1974 in the city of Monroe, Michigan. Monroe is
about 40 miles South of Detroit on Lake Erie. He has two older brothers named Jason and Michael.
Alan s parents met when they were in the Navy. His father changed services to the Army and was
stationed in Monroe as a recruiter after returning from the Vietnam War. Being born the son of an
Army member makes one an Army Brat which means moving very often and attending several
schools over one s lifetime (Baker, 2015). One of his earliest memories is of his mother bundling him
up to go outside in the heavy snows of a Michigan winter storm. In 1978, the family moved to Mainz,
Germany where he attended the first grade. While stationed there, the family visited many German
castles, learned a lot of German history, went on Volksmarches which were noncompetitive
walkathons (AVA) and met a lot of interesting people. In 1981, the family moved back to the United
States to Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas. There, Alan attended Logan Heights Elementary School. His
house was on a street that had a dead end. Beyond the dead end was literally the desert complete with
cactuses, tumbleweeds, horned frogs, and tarantulas. He loved going over the border to Juarez,
Mexico with the family and haggling with the merchants for items. Finally, in 1982 the family moved
to Ft. Polk, Louisiana for his last move which is where his father retired from the military. In
Louisiana, Alan attended Leesville Junior High and High School. He graduated with honors in 1992.
He enrolled at Northwestern State University for the fall semester. However, he was working full time,
had an hour long commute to classes, and a new girlfriend that would soon be his wife. His grades
weren t very good. Alan decided perhaps he was ready for a break from school and was ready to do a
little growing up . Having a long history of military service in his family, he looked to do his duty and
serve also. After talking with the recruiters in his home town, the Air Force seemed to have the jobs he

The Bombing Of The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building
The event that I chose was the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown
Oklahoma City by an ex Army soldier and security guard named Timothy McVeigh. He parked a
rented Ryder truck in front of the building loaded with a powerful bomb made out of a deadly cocktail
of agricultural fertilizer, diesel fuel, and other chemicals. The bomb went off at 9:02 a.m. When the
smoke cleared the area looked like a war zone. Half of the building had been reduced to rubble,
surrounding cars were incinerated and nearby buildings were damaged or destroyed. The death toll
was very devastating: 168 people, including 19 children were killed that day not to mention several
hundred more injured in the blast. The bombing was considered the worst act of homegrown terrorism

Medical coding is a very detailed process in which health care professionals use to code an insurance
claim, to submit for reimbursement of services. In the following scenario, my task would be to explain
the process and steps I took, to code patients cases using ICD 9. When coding it s very important to
code correctly to avoid delays in reimbursement and proper reimbursement. The following will
explain the steps I took to perform proper medical coding. When I code with ICD 9 I generally weed
out the diagnosis that has been stated and where on the body this diagnosis came from. Some terms
you want to avoid performing when coding a claim are, unbundling, upcoding, overcoding, jamming,
and downcoding (Green, M, 2014, pg. 12). Those terms are when you code claim improperly which
can cause delays and in some cases audits can happen, and insurance companies can revoke your
rights to submit claims to them. That could detrimental to a small practice because they wouldn t be
able to accept that insurance and bill claims, so patients would have to find another provider. There is
a Code of Ethics that helps differentiate the rights and wrongs with guidelines for ethical coding
practices (pg. 13). After I locate the correct term to code, I locate the code in the tabular list, which is

Parental Involvement in regards to education is huge. Parents are the people advocating for the
children. It is important for teachers to have a good relationship with parents in order to make the best
decisions for the child. Teachers and parents can come together to make these decisions. In regards to
special education, the parental involvement MUST be there. Parents need to make sure their child is in
the right seating, receive all their services and receiving the assistive technology device that is right
for their child. Parents know their child more than anyone on this earth. Teachers do know students
pretty well but they don t see what the child is like at home or sometimes get to see the student s true
personality. Teachers can effectively choose assistive technology for students but, what works for one
student may not work for all. This is where the parental involvement needs to kick in. For example: a
student may suffer from speech difficulties and can communicate a little with sign language. The

Despite the fact that weather, climate and meteorology are correlated; all three topics differ from each
other. With this out of the way, meteorology is defined as the study of both the atmosphere s climate
and weather. The main difference in between climate and weather is that they are determined by time;
meaning that weather is known as the conditions of the atmosphere over a short period of time, while
climate is the average conditions recorded of the atmosphere s weather over a long period of time.
For instance, when we talk about climate change we are talking about how the atmosphere s average
behavior has changed over time based on the current weather. Weather is reported daily through
current measured aspects of the atmosphere like temperature, wind speed and direction, dew point,
pressure and precipitation. Over time, these daily weather variables help meteorologists determine the
climate for the given region they are analyzing. By determining the climate of the region,
