Junior Varsity Soccer Team
The Organization I was involved in was my Junior Varsity Soccer team at Ramona High School. We
had Eleven Starters and Seven Bench Players. We had to try out to get a spot on the team and all of us
there had to compete against each other to play during the games. The previous year the team had
finished second in the league so they had greater expectations for us to finish in first. Attitudes are an
important part to compete and can influence everyone around you which demonstrates the three main

Behavior is the way one acts and they have the intention to act that way. Some of the behaviors
displayed throughout the season were laziness, many would not listen to the coach, and some players
would not try as hard as they could have in the games. This type of behavior had negative impacts as it
led to several of the players in our team to butt heads during one of the practices. The alteration
occurred during the last weeks of the season. Our goalie was complaining about the defenders not
doing their jobs. One of the defenders told the goalie to keep his mouth shut and when that did not
happen they fought leaving our team even more divided. At this point of the season all the losing, the
coach s incompetency and a 7 0 loss at home led us to giving up on the season. The only time our
attitude changed was during the last game of the season. It was raining and the coach told us to have
fun. At that point we thought we could possibly win since we tied against the team earlier in the
season. Our mentality changed, and we believed in ourselves, and we had the intentions to win. The
game ended 2 1 and we celebrated since that was our second win out of ten
