Day 1 - March 04,2024
“New Chapter to Remember”
I arrived at BFP Cabarroguis at 7:20 in the morning. When I arrived, there
were many people ahead of me. We waited for the BFP chief, and when he
arrived, we were ordered to line up. He told us that every Monday there is a
flag-raising ceremony at the LGU gym, and all the employees of the municipality
should be there. We also have to go to join the program they will do. The
program began with a prayer performed by an employee of the municipality,
after which it was followed by the singing of Lupang Hinirang, and the program
about National Women’s Months and Fire Prevention Month began. Mayor
Avelino Agustin opened the program and introduced Atty. . Resula Calacala,
CPA, is our guest speaker. He shared his experience with us, and we learned
a lot from what he said. We admire his hard work and resilience.
When it arrived at 1:00 in the afternoon, they did an activity with us that had to
be answered, and it would be passed on at exactly 3 in the afternoon. After we
finished, Sir Dave Camus instructed us about the use of the fire extinguisher.
This is the end of my day. I learned a lot this day.
REFLECTION:
Today I found out that the job of BFPs is not just firefighting because they
have four jobs, which are fire suppression, fire prevention, investigation, and

DEPLOYMENT AND ORIENTATION. The process of deploying or the state of
being deployed is a placement or arrangement. Orientation training is a
program designed to help a new hire to adjust to work and the firm.

4. Day 2 - March 05, 2024
“Learn and Improve Our Skills”
I arrived at BFP Cabarroguis at 7:20 in the morning. When I arrived, there

REFLECTION:
Today I found out that the job of BFPs is not just firefighting because they

5. ROPEMANSHIP. Rope is also important sowed should carry every time we go
to the forest in case of emergency and use it in a proper way not in a bad way,
well know that some people use it to end their life. Rope is also one of the
important equipment of fire services.
Day 3 - March 06,2024
“It’s Knowledge Time.”
My third day at BFP started early in the morning. I entered at 7:12 in the
morning and got ready for the activity to be done later. The Chief of the BFP
has arrived, and we lined up and together wished him good morning, sir. After

6. that, we listened to the song of one of the immersants from the town. When it
ended, we did what we could because they had a meeting, so we were ordered
to continue what we did yesterday. At 10 in the morning, we were called to be
taught the other ropemanship, and we were told that we would perform it the
next day. In the evening, we got ready because there will be a quiz about fire
safety that will be held at 3 in the afternoon. While we were not doing anything,
we reviewed and prepared for the quiz. The quiz is over, and I am one of the
high scorers.
REFLECTION:
Today I learned a lot and learned a lot of lessons that I can use in the
future to achieve the dream that I want to achieve as I grow up.
DAY OF EXAM. The continue the ropemanship so that we can perform it very
well. It’s just a long quiz but they said that is a exam and I passed. Listening to
the announcements before we left the station.

7. Day 04 - March 07, 2024
"Unlock A New Skill"
My fourth day at BFP began with an early check-in. I went in at 7 in the
morning and got myself ready. While I was not doing anything, I first picked up
the clutter around, and after I finished it, I practiced ropemanship because it
would be performed later. We were divided into four groups; we were third, but
we were first in the exam. We finished the exam, and we went to recess. At
noon, we were taught how to bandage. It was difficult at first, but when I
practiced, I was able to follow it. After this, we were taught about PPE and what
they use, such as hoses and others. When it was almost time to go home, we
lined up and got ready to go home.
REFLECTION:
Today I learned about different bandages or bandages on bleeding or
cut wounds to reduce bleeding and prevent infection.

8. EVALUATION DAY. The rope is not just any rope but it can also help you a lot,
as well as the hose. They teach you how to fold it properly so you can help
throw the hose because the water can't come out when you hang a hose. Oh,
that's why the connection is not good. PPE is used to get close to the fire and
to be safe, but if you wear it wrong, you can lose oxygen and carbon monoxide
can enter, which causes you to lose consciousness. Oh, that's why you will feel
dizzy and fall down. That's why wearing it must be in order to avoid bad events.
Day 05 - March 08, 2024
"Team Work"
My five days at BFP have started, and this is the day that I can say is
tiring because of the many activities done. Before this happened, I came in at
7:30 in the morning, and she did what I do in the morning, like picking up the
messes, and she got myself organized and ready. Today is the day we will
perform the host, PPE, and bandaging, and she will tell us to prepare and
review so that later we will get a high grade. The activities have started; first is
the PPE, then the parts of the host, and finally the host rolling. There is still a
lot we haven't done, so we will do it next week. Today is a tiring day, but it's fun,
and there's a lot of learning.

9. REFLECTIONS:
Today I learned the importance of teamwork because it makes any task
faster if you do it as a group, and I learned about the different parts of the host,
PPE, and others. It was tiring, but I learned a lot and enjoyed it.
HOSE FOLDING. The hose is made of durable material so it will not break
immediately and when you lift it, it will weigh you down and especially when it
is wet, the hose must be folded properly because if the folding is not done
correctly, it may If there is a hose problem, the hose can also be damaged if it
is not folded properly.
Day 06 - March 11, 2024
"Listen Carefully"
Today is our second week at BFP. My day started by entering early. I arrived at
the BFP at 7:20 in the morning and first picked up the mess while we waited for
the arrival of our chief. When he arrived, we were already lined up because
there was a flag-raising that would take place. After this, we were told to get

10. ready because we would continue what we were doing last week, which was
the host roles, folds, and bandaging. The first activity we did was host fold; it
was divided into six people and folded one by one until the said fold was done.
It is noon, and we are told to eat first, and it will continue at 1 p.m. We continued
the host fold, and when we finished following this bandage, you will perform
with your companions, who will tell you where the injured person is, and you
will perform the bandage for him. When we finished it, the host rolling followed.
Here, you throw the host, and you can hit it in the middle so you can get a
grade. It has three tries, and each one has 15 points. In the afternoon, when
we were told that tomorrow we would do firefighting, I was nervous and excited
because I would learn something new about it.
REFLECTION:
Now I have learned the importance of being prepared and united in responding
to emergency situations and helping others in times of need.

11. BANDAGING FOR THE SAFE: The handkerchiefs also used to apply first aid,
but it must be placed slowly and carefully so that the wound does not get worse.
Itis good to bring handkerchief when you go to the forest.

12. Day 08 - March 13,2024
"Going into Exciting Part"
Today is my eighth day at BFP. My day started by going in early. Earlier,
the weather was bad, so even though it was raining, I still went in early. When
I arrived at the BFP, there were already many people before me; they were
sitting with their eyes closed because they were ordered to go to sleep first
because there was not much to do. Now everyone is expecting the arrival of
the Provincial Director of the BFP; he will visit Cabarroguis and get the news.
He arrived at 10 in the morning, and we all greeted him with good morning, sir,
and he also greeted us back. After 30 minutes, they also left immediately
because they were going to another BFP in Region 2. When they were gone,
we talked about the program to be done on Friday; it is closing and graduating
for us as immersants, and everyone is excited. In the afternoon, we were sent
home early because the weather was bad.
REFLECTION:
Today I learned the importance of being ready at any time and adaptable
to any situation that may arise.

13. FIRE FIGHTING. This is just an exercise of put out the fire so I hope we listen
and don't leave the house with something plugged in that way the house we go
home to will still be intact and if you leave your houses make sure that all outlets
are unplugged.

14. Day 07 - March 12, 2024
"Cooperation and Teamwork"
This day we are going to do firefighting; everyone is looking forward to it
because today is the only time we can try it. Everyone is nervous because it's
our first time doing this. First of all, my day started with getting in early. I entered
at 7:17 in the morning and prepared myself for the activity to be done later. We
were told to contribute to the fuel we would use. Before we start firefighting,
another immersion finished the activity we did yesterday, which was host
throwing, before starting the next activity. When everyone finished the hose
throwing, it was already noon, so we were told that it would be done after lunch.
We were told that we would return at 1 in the afternoon to start the firefighting.
The time has come for what we will do. We were lined up first and told that this
will be done by the group. We counted from 1 to 7, and whoever is 1 will be in
the next group as well. When we knew our group, we were taught how to do it
and what part each one would do. We get a drum, and Sir Moris will make the
fire, and we will kill the next one. One by one, they said what to do, and I went
to the host to throw. We started moving all together, and we did it smoothly and
safely. In the afternoon, when we were lined up and our sirs had fun, they taught
singers and sang what we said and listened to their song. It was beautiful and
fun, and everyone was happy with this event. My day ended with a lot of
learning and happy memories.

15. REFLECTION:
Today I learned the importance of team work that you can do something
well with someone and you work together. This day is not only about fighting
fire, but also about strengthening the organization and valuing each other as
part of an effective team.
SHOWING THE HIDDEN TALENT. We have our own talent, it doesn't just
come out because we are ashamed to bring it out, so we should remove the
shame because it only slows down life, let's not defeat our shame, but let's
bring it out and show it.

16. Day 09 - March 14,2024
"Don't Let Your Normal Day Be Normal."
Today is my ninth day at BFP Cabarroguis. My good day started by going
in early. I went in at 7:15 in the morning. Today a program will be held, and the
kindergarten children will star. The children arrived at 9 o'clock, and the
program began. Sir Avelino spoke first, and he told the children about their
work: they not only put out fires, they also do rescues. He was followed by his
companion, who showed the children their equipment, such as PPE and others.
The next thing the children are looking forward to is the mascot, whose name
is Bero. The children were very happy when they saw him, and they even
danced to the baby shark. When it was over, they went home. When they were
gone, we talked about what we would do the next day. There will be many
activities to watch tomorrow, and there will be a boodle fight. In the afternoon,
we went home.
REFLECTION:
On this day, I realized the value of being part of a community and of
working together in advocacy for the safety and well-being of each other.

17. ALWAYS THINK POSITIVELY. That was what the Head Chief said to us
before I left the station. And don't get into a bad habit

18. Day 10 - March 15, 2024
"10 Days That Will Forever Be Treasured"
Today is my tenth day at BFP Cabarroguis, and today is also the day we
will graduate as immersants. We are happy but sad because we will miss each
other. Before everyone, my day started in the morning. Today is our last day at
BFP, so everyone is busy decorating and cooking food after completing the
program. The program started with a speech by the supervisor and was
followed by a speech by the students of each school. After this is the search for
Miss Bebot Immersant 2024, and the following is the intermission number of
each school. When the buddle fight was over, we ate salosalo and consumed
everything we had prepared. Everyone was very happy with what happened
this morning. When we finished eating, we arranged what we ate and felt that
because at 1:30 in the afternoon we were going to take a bath. It was time to
bathe us; we were already lined up, and the bath started. We were still crawling.
Everyone was very happy with what happened. When we got changed, we lined
up again and thanked the BFP family for everything they did for us. We are very
grateful, and we will carry the experience they shared with us.
REFLECTION:
I learned the importance of time because time is passing by, so let's
enjoy the time we have with them. Don't waste it on any useless things; let's
enjoy it because time is something we can't get back no matter what. Let's do
it.

19. A GOOD MEMORY WILL BE REMEMBERED AND NOT FORGOTTEN, BUT
A BAD MEMORY WILL BE FORGOTTEN. Escape the bad habits and let’s
make a good memory that can make us happy and unforgettable.
