Abstract
Neohydatothrips samayunkur, a thrips species infest African marigold, is recorded from Egypt for
the first time. A detailed description is given of how to identify this thrips species. Tageteserecta L.
were grown in the experimental farm at Giza governorate, Egypt. The Sampling was carried out
during mid
April to late July and from early September to late December, (2013 2014). A weekly sample
randomly selected and examined for the presence of thrips. Identification was based on the
morphological characters. N. samayunkur adult body is bicolor, dark brown with abdominal
segments 3 6 yellowish with brown antecostal ridge. Antenna 8 segments, Legs; Mid and hind
tarsi: 2 segmented, The hind leg tibiae is brown medially and otherwise yellow. Fore wings
alternating bands of dark and light. Second larval instars are pale yellow to orange in color,

Racism was a consistent theme throughout the entirety of Friday Night Lights (2015) and was

Introduction
When I was two years old my mother enrolled me in gymnastics. Gymnastics was a huge part of
my life for the next four years. After moving up to be with the fourteen and fifteen year olds my
mother realized that something was not right, because I was having body issues at the age of six.

addresses the issue of how deeply affected the children of America are due to consumerism. Unlike
Swimme I do not believe that all of children s psyche problems come from ads or television. I think

for every node. In this type of network the switch picks up every transmission before it reaches

As seen in many monster stories throughout history, such as Bisclavret and Beowulf, monsters
also live in isolation. Bilbo is no different. Hobbits are inherently known to remain in the
confines of their homes at all costs, as it provides a sense of comfort and security, similar to the
role the woods play for Bisclavret. Tolkien describes, on page 4, how Bilbo s parents settled in
their hobbit hole and remained there until their deaths, which is also where Bilbo continues to

Resilience is defined as the quality that allows people to be knocked down and come back
stronger than ever. Resilience is demonstrated throughout the novel Defending Jacob by William
Landay, and the ancillary texts If by Rudyard Kipling, and The Third and Final Continent by
Jhumpa Lahiri though different literary devices. The similar conflicts of Defending Jacob and

Empty Hands is the memoir of Sister Abegail Ntleko, and it is a great story of how hard work
and determination can help anyone make their dreams come true no matter the difficulty.
Ntleko had a rather humble beginning. She grew up without much money in a community
where education for young girls was not common or deemed necessary. Young girls were raised
caring for the household and were expected to be married off at a young age to do the exact
same thing for the rest of their lives. Her father had the same mindset, and it took years and a
meeting with the community chief for him to allow her to enter the first grade at age 14.
Because Ntleko s mother was no longer with her, members of the village would often visit her and
