Purpose
I would like to briefly summarize why wildlife is important and I m examining this because it s
truly important that we as people recognize that wildlife plays a big role in how we live.
Problem
Nature is losing its wildlife! The loss can be attributed to two main causes. The first cause is human
interaction. Humans are having too much interference in nature. According to the World Wide
Federation (2017), the forests, swamps, plains, and lakes are being destroyed to make room for
roads, pipelines, and industrial development. These areas serve as the natural habitat for our wildlife.
Without a home, these animals are dying off at record numbers and becoming extinct.
According to Morris (2003), Humans are also killing the animals for food and this choice also
destroys the natural habitat. Many humans are making the choice to catch fish faster than the
oceans can restock. When people choose to destroy these animal s homes, it has a negative effect on
the food chain. When one sees the impact of human interaction on the natural habitat, society must
realize that they have a responsibility to do something because our future as a species on this planet
is in jeopardy.
Procedures/Methodology
The raw data that was collected was 20 random people. You can find the collection on the next
page. I used the stratified sampling method. The survey question was Do you think wildlife is
important? and people answered either yes or no.

theory of inattentional blindness; that we sometimes miss opportunities or events because we are
focusing on something else. The concept rose from Harvard psychologists Daniel J Simons and
Christopher F Chabris 1999 Gorillas in our midst study. Their aim was to study the psychology of

injectivity problem. In this study, C5 injection resulted in the high amount of asphaltene deposition
in porous media (11.4 % per Figure 7) and it could block the main flow path, the fracture (as seen in
Figure 6c). The pressure profiles of C5 injection shown in Figure 8 can also explain the formation
damage caused by severe asphaltene deposition. At early time stage of solvent injection, solvent
mainly diffuses into the oil within the fracture path (while diffusing into the matrix as well) and
recovered most of the oil in this area (up to 80 minutes in Figure 8). Thereafter, the solvent is
occupied the whole fracture and due to the concentration gradient between the solvent and matrix s
oil, the solvent diffused into the matrix, dilute the oil by precipitation and deposition of asphaltene.
Continuing solvent injection resulted in more asphaltene deposition in the matrix and especially
fracture matrix interface (where the highest concentration gradient is) that eventually cause the
formation damage and reduce the injectivity. This can be seen in Figure 7 from time 90 minutes to
280 minutes where the injection pressure increased until the time that was no injection at all (after
about 280 minutes).

My Personal Counseling Characteristics Capuzzi, Stauffer, and Gross (2016) highlighted the
existence of core conditions identified throughout the counseling literature and research as an
essential piece of the therapeutic relationship (p. 8). Possessing and demonstrating these
characteristics and behaviors strengthen the helping alliance and aid in effectiveness as a counselor
when guiding the client to achieve optimal wellness (Capuzzi et al., 2016). The following narrative
outlines characteristics and behaviors emphasized as strengths necessary when developing a
therapeutic alliance with a client and those acknowledged as potential challenges or weaknesses
hindering the development of a therapeutic alliance. Additionally, explanations are discussed for
selected strengths and challenges as well as strategies to address challenges and weaknesses.
An Area of Strength Warmth as a core concept essential to the helping relationship is regarded as
the counselor s ability to convey genuine caring and concern to clients (Capuzzi et al., 2016, p. 11).
Without this ability to convey warmth as a counselor, the counseling process will not be effective,
especially as I believe warmth is essential to building rapport and promoting an environment in
which clients feel comfortable disclosing intimate details of their lives. After all, a client may be
more reluctant to disclose intimate aspects of their life if they believe that the individual to which
they are disclosing does not

Lolita he wants to do everything with her remaining oblivious to his acts. yet that is almost
impossible, and the more he pursued, the more she reciprocated his advances. Humbert will
never be satisfied in his relationship for Lolita because she can not stay the innocent girl that he
has created in his head. Every time Humbert comes into contact with her, the more she is forced
to grow out of her innocence and the less appealing she becomes to Humbert. However Humbert
refuses to accept that the Lolita he has concocted is not real. He goes after Lolita with an
obsessive nature. His need to recreate his past love drives him. Yet this insatiable need for a pure
innocent child is impossible for him to ever

Offred And Celie In The Handmaid s Tale By Margaret Atwood
The characters of Offred and Celie have both been oppressed during different stages of their life.
Offred, from the Handmade s tale, experienced life before before being heavily oppressed by the
society of Gilead. At the start of the novel Offred predominantly is passive to her oppression but
there is a hint of wanting to rebel against it., A chair, a table, a lamp. Above, on the white ceiling,

She knows that the society she lives in is wrong, if she was completely passive towards her
oppression then she wouldn t appreciate the small aspects of freedom she has. Offred s narrative
is simplistic through the use of asyndetic listing, she later goes on to say thinking can hurt your

society of Gilead. The use of asyndetic listing implies endlessness as there is no and to finalise
it, offred uses syndetic listing and finalises her thoughts which could suggest that her oppression
is final and she won t tolerate it anymore. On the other hand her narrative is simplistic with could
also suggest that this could be because she doesn t want to think too much about her past life, as
it could lead to her going insane due to how much she s been brainwashed. Ofred hasn t been
brainwashed by choice, so technically she isn t passive towards her oppression. This could be
Atwood imputing her own opinions of society, that women are oppressed to the point where they
re no longer able to realise that they re in an oppressive
