various campaigning women to allow development. One such campaigner was a certain Clara

Argumentative Essay On First Amendment Rights
Part I Intro: An age is called Dark not because the light fails to shine, but because people refuse to see
it. (James A. Michener, Space) I am here today arguing a denied, avoided, and controversial topic
[Christian Persecution]; and, I am doing this so that I can make the increasing amount of attacks on
our first amendment rights known. The injustice here is not only the attacks on Christians rights to
religious freedom, but also because it is ignored. The rights of everyone are compromised because no
matter what religion you identify with or even one at all, there is a precedent being set that denying
someone s right is okay. 1,400 documented attacks on religious freedom, at a 15% increase over the
past year and a 133% increase over the past five years. Part II Introduce arguments: This is an
injustice for three main reasons: Number 1: Our first amendment right is being violated. Number 2:
People are penalized for their beliefs. Number 3: People are unable to practice their religions freely.
Part III Reason 1: This is an injustice because our first amendment right is being violated. The first
amendment states that, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of
the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Ironically, the majority of Americans identify as Christians,

Native Architects And Architectures Introduced
As a Chinese immigrant who lived in the USA for four years, I have been amazed by the western
architects and architectures introduced in lectures and textbook. Buildings like Sagrada Familia,
Guggenheim Museum, Burj Al Arab, and even the White House have attracted my interested toward
architecture by bringing me endless awes and wonders. Out of so many famous and recognizable
architects who designed marvelous buildings, this special Chinese family attracts extra attention.
Maybe a highly skilled architect is honorable, but a loyal architect family who devoted their
generations to architecture deserves the respect from all architects. In the following paragraphs, I will
describe this family and their work, as well as their importance and contribution to the history of
architecture.
Yang Shi Lei , meaning the Lei style , was a name for Lei family who worked as royal architects over
200 years of Qing dynasty. In the end of 17th century, like many artisans, Fada Lei came to Beijing
and started working to build the palaces for Qing dynasty. Due to his outstanding building skills and
different architectural style, he was prided to be the designer of many royal buildings. He had total of
seven generals at the end the Qing dynasty, and they were all responsible for designing and building
the royal buildings such as the main palaces, imperial tomb, the old Summer Palace, the Summer
Palace and so on. To commemorate Lei s family s contribution to the Chinese architectural history,

A Study On Chronic Coffee Consumption Has Preventative On...
The primary objective of this research was to produce a study that displayed that chronic coffee
consumption has preventative effects in mammals. This paper will allow me to trace the method that
the scientists used in this particular mice experiment. Using the scientific method during the mice
experiment allowed the scientists to ask certain questions, make observations, and receive answers to
their questions. During this experiment twenty one mice were tested to determine whether water or
diluted black coffee would lower the mice blood glucose levels. Through my research and
examination of this experiment I will develop a hypothesis and come to a conclusion on the basis of
the research provided.
Identifying the Steps, Observations, and Hypothesis
The identified steps of the scientific method are ask a question, do background research, construct a
hypothesis, test your hypothesis by doing an experiment, analyze your data and draw a conclusion,
and communicate your results. The observations the scientist made leading up to this experiment were
that mice, which are mammals, have a relatively similar body system to that of a human. The fact that
mice s DNA is so similar to that of a human and that their life span is so short, scientist can observe
how this experiment will affect their bodies in a much faster frame of time. The hypothesis drawn
from this experiment seems to be at odds with the blood glucose in the mice that consumed the coffee
rather than the water had dropped

Bob Dylan s The Sixties Counterculture
To understand the sixties counterculture, we must understand the important role of Bob Dylan. His
lyrics fueled the rebellious youth in America. Songs such as Blowin in the Wind and The Times are A
Changin made him favorable to anti war demonstrators and supporters of the Civil Rights movement.
He was commonly hailed as the spokesman for his generation. Dylan used lyrics to allow the youth to
find their own form of counter culture. The youth generation began to see the effects racism, war, etc.
effect the society in America. To combat this, the youth created their own form of counter culture to
promote a peaceful change within society. Some of their actions include forming anti war protests that
opposed America s involvement in the Vietnam War, and supporting African Americans/women get
the rights they deserve through the Civil Rights Movement. Bob Dylan s music appealed to the young
generation because he openly expresses his disapproval of the establishment in order to influenced his
audience to move in a direction for change. Counterculture youth rejected cultural norms of the
previous generation and their values and lifestyles opposed the mainstream culture present in the 1950
s. The folk music revival of the early 1960s, as well as the counter culture movement played an
important role in advocating change. Bob Dylan wrote songs that influenced the Civil Rights
Movement, New Left Movement, and Anti War Movement.

Naïve B Lymphocytes
Naïve B lymphocytes express two classes of membrane bound antibodies, IgM and IgD that function
as the receptor for antigens. These naïve B cells are activated by antigens. The activation of B
lymphocytes results in the proliferation of antigen specific cells, also called clonal expansion and their
differentiation into effector cells that actively secrete antibodies. During their differentiation, some B
cells may begin to produce antibodies of different heavy chain classes (or isotypes). This process is
called heavy chain class (isotype) switching. Repeated exposure to a protein antigen results in the
production of antibodies with increasing affinity for the antigen. This process is called affinity
maturation and it lead to the production

Cyrus And The Babylonian Of The Persian Empire
Cyrus II, more commonly referred to, as Cyrus the Great was the founder of the Persian Empire.
Cyrus is renowned for being one of the greatest historical conquerors, who in two decades (550 530)
conquered all the major empires of the near east, including Media, Lydia and the Neo Babylonian
kingdoms; all these cities united created the largest empire the world had seen to that time . However
in many ancient texts, such as the works of Xenophon, a number of sacred Jewish texts and the
Babylonian peoples, Cyrus was often described as a liberator as apposed to a conqueror . From a
number of ancient written sources, including the Cyropaedia, Cyrus is depicted as a very tolerant and
generous ruler, this attribute was a very important ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This source is very different from Herodotus version, which claims that Cyrus only became king after
he defeated Astyages in 550/549 BCE; this version is also reiterated in Xenophon s Cyropaedia . The
details of Cyrus origin story are widely debated, however, the Cyrus Cylinder and ancient cuneiform
texts remain as the most reliable sources that say Cyrus inherited the position of king of Anash, under
Median rule, from his father and predecessor .
In c.550 BCE a battle broke out between the Persians, led by Cyrus the Great and the Median Empire
led by their king, Astyages . Although different ancient sources argue which of the two started the
conflict, the outcome is mutually agreed upon. Ancient Greek historian, Herodotus claims that prior to
the rise of the Persian Empire the Medes ruled the Persian peoples. Until Cyrus persuaded the Persians
to revolt and march against the Medes , after learning of this Astyages ordered his armies to capture
Cyrus; but instead his armies revolted against him and after his defeat in the battle, Astyages was
captured by the Persian Empire . This version of events is

The Effect Of Stock Market On Gdp Growth
Extensive amount of studies have been undertaken to examine the effect of stock market on GDP
growth. Some of the studies on this topic are Demirguc Kunt and Levine (1995), Levine and Zervos
(1993, 1995, 1998) etc. In theory well developed stock market should enduce saving and efficiently
allocate capital to productive investments which would later lead to increase in the rate of real output.
Stock markets contribute to accumulation of domestic savings by enhancing the scope of financial
instruments available to savers and investors trough diversification of their portfolios. Dailami and
Aktin (1990) think stock markets provide important source of capital investment at low cost which
should serve as an obvious benefit for the economy in general. In developed economies with
developed stock markets share ownership provides individuals with probably the most liquid means of
sharing the risks and benefits of investing in promising projects. The main advantage of liquid stock
market is that it provides investors to cope with liquididy risk by allowing participants hit by
illiquidity constraints to sell their stakes to othe participants who at the time do not suffer form the
same problem. These transactions are done in real time with frictions in the market being at the
minimum. The ending result of this process is that capital is not prematurely withdrawn form firms to
meet short term liquidity need. It is just changing hands. Stock markets also play an important role in

Once the information is retrieved from the contactless card we will then look at new attack vectors, a
new idea is the concept of virtual pickpocketing. Virtual pickpocketing is a fairly new concept that
explores the idea of an embedded piece of malware that constantly looks for NFC signals such as a
contactless debit card. The malware itself is disguised as a legitimate application that is installed on
the user?s phone, once the phone comes into contact with the contactless card, the cards details are
scanned and the information is relayed to a command and control server. Once the information is
stored on the command and control server the attacker can now use an application to retrieve the card
details and use a mobile device as if it were a contactless card to make payment for goods and
services. This project has found multiple vulnerabilities in contactless payment cards; the reasons for
which are discussed. Table of Contents Introduction 5 1.1 Smartcards 5 1.2 Protocol Stack 5 1.3

Fibroglandular Mapping
1) Uniform Mapping: This method follows the strategy presented in [11] and [24] and uses a smooth
linear mapping between the range of MRI pixel intensities in the breast interior and a range of Debye
parameters around a median baseline. The rowlabeled as average tissue in Table I summarizes the
Debye parameters for the median baseline and the corresponding dielectric constant and conductivity
at 6 GHz. The histogram of Fig. 3(a) shows the range and distribution of dielectric constants at 6 GHz
that result from applying this uniform mapping scheme to the data of Fig. 2(b) assuming a variability
of 50% about the median. This result illustrates a general feature of all three mapping schemes that

Visual inspection of the MRI image is used to determine intensity thresholds or the fatty,
fibroglandular, and transition regions in the histogram of Fig. 2(b). The intensity at which the local
peak occurs within the higher end of the intensity spectrum of Fig. 2(b) is mapped to the median
Debye parameters chosen for fatty tissue. The maximum pixel intensity within this fatty region of the
histogram is mapped to the minimum fatty tissue Debye parameters, and the minimum fatty tissue
pixel intensity is mapped to the maximum fatty tissue Debye parameters. The same process is applied
to the fibroglandular tissue region clustered at the lower end of the pixel intensity spectrum. Pixel
intensities within the transition region are mapped to Debye parameters that span the range between
the fatty maximum and fibroglandular minimum. Fig. 3(b) shows a histogram of the resulting

The Advocacy Groups That Stand For Pro Choice
Over several centuries and in different cultures, there is a rich history of women helping each other to
abort. Until the late 1800s, women healers in Western Europe and the U.S. provided abortions and
trained other women to do so, without legal prohibitions. There were many different ways they
attempted to do this procedure; such as a pennyroyal tea, which according to Thorpe, is toxic at just
five grams. They believed that jumping and kicking yourself in the buttocks would also make a
women have a miscarriage. Sitting over a pot of hot onions, and using camel saliva, ants, and deer hair
was also a popular way to have an abortion back then. In today s society abortion has become a major
social issue that will never be resolved. It is a topic that some people avoid in our society. They would
rather pretend it does not excite than recognize it as part in our society. The two advocacy groups that
stand firm in their moral beliefs are conservatives who stand for pro life and liberals who stand for pro
choice. They do not take this issue lightly, there has been countless debates about whether it is murder
or not. However, it always ends the same way with now solution. There are four major points to look
at when discussing the issue of abortion, legal precedence, human rights, religion and when life

Native American Medicine and Spiritual Healing Essay
Throughout time, mankind has persistently been seeking ways to maintain their health and to cure
those that had not been so fortunate in that task. Just about everything has been experimented with as a
cure for some type of illness; whether physical, spiritual or mental. There has always been evidence of
spiritual healing and it will continue to be an important part of any healing process, large or small. In
particular the roots of Native American Medicine men (often a woman in some cultures) may be

Ocean Acidification:
How the Ocean s Declining pH is Destroying Our Environment
Sometimes called climate change s equivalently destructive twin , ocean acidification is becoming
more and more noticeable as the seawater s changing chemistry begins to cause environmental and
economical problems. When the Industrial Revolution began around 1760, fossil fuel powered
machines gained an immense amount of accessibility and popularity. Since then, carbon dioxide
(CO2) levels in the atmosphere have risen enough to change the pH of the world s oceans. Given that
the ocean absorbs almost half of the CO2 that is released into our atmosphere, ocean acidification is
inclining into an even greater problem as fossil fuels become a more common energy source in our
society. Higher acid levels can harm wildlife, disrupt the food chain, and negatively impact industries
that rely on the ocean for business. Ocean acidification is causing growing dilemmas for both marine
ecosystems and ocean based economies. Although many companies and organizations are attempting
to fix this problem, acidification is still threatening to cause increasingly harmful issues for the future.
Ocean acidification is the constant increase of acidity in the Earth s oceans, caused by the unceasingly
rising levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Anthropogenic CO2 is mainly emitted by the
burning of fossil fuels, including coal, oil, and natural gas. Since the

Difference Between English Civil Law And Common Law
English Common Law
English Common Law and Civil Law are very much a different way that countries apply the law. One
of the main differences being that the Common law is largely based on precedent which means that
that the decision that a judge needs to make was most likely already made in the similar case. Because
Common law uses case law as their reference for future cases, judges have a huge role in making the
Common Law to what it is today and what it will be like in the future. Precedents are kept up to date
through the years and are historically documented in collections of case law. The verdict in cases that
follow the common law is decided by the jury which is a group of normal people that have no legal
background that listens to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If the there are no significant facts that are completely different the judge would be forced to use the
precedent set by earlier case.
To show how distinguishing works there are two cases that are commonly used. These common cases
are Merritt v Merritt (1970) and Balfour v Balfour (1919) . In both of the cases, the defendant is the
husband and the prosecutor is the wife and both claims are for a breach of contract.
In Balfour v Balfour the husband went away from the country to, but the wife was not able to go with
him. The husband orally agreed to send money to the wife while he was away working. When the
relationship ended so did the payments from the husband. The wife went to court to get the contract
enforced in court, but he claims failed because it was decided that there was no intention to create
legal relations. The agreement was looked as a domestic arrangement made between husband and wife
and not a legal one.
In Merritt v Merritt the court was able to distinguish that there was a defence in the marital status of
the people compared to the Balfour v Balfour case. It was aggreged that the husband would give
money to the wife for her to pay the mortgage and when it fully paid off the house would be changed
to only have the wife s name and no longer joint ownership. The claim succeeded, even though this
agreement was written down and signed by both parties, the husband rejected to

Large Events Of Philadelphia
Liabilities of Large Events
Philadelphia consistently ranks among one of the most popular cities in the United States, both in
terms of visitation and in terms of global recognition. This ranking is driven by prominent events in
the past, and 2016 will be no different. Events such as the papal visit and the democratic nomination
convention will inevitably influence Philadelphia s economy, and it has long been an accepted notion
that these events cause a positive impact. However, recent studies have begun to erode this
misconception. The disastrous papal visit proved the economic harm of large scale events, and in
events such as the upcoming Democratic national convention, Philadelphia shouldn t expect any
significant economic windfall. The large influx of tourists coming to city for large events repels local
citizens who consume from local businesses, resulting in local businesses being forced to fall behind
schedule.
The Papal visit was projected to generate 400 million dollars for the city, but instead exemplifies the
way in which super events can go awry (Debree 2). Pope Francis visited the city of Philadelphia from
September 26th through the 27th, and predictably paranoia ensued. Hundreds of thousands of people
flooded the city for the opportunity to watch the pope speak. The damage was assessed weeks later.
City controller Alan Butkovitz published an analysis in October of 2015 detailing the Papal visit s
economic impact and his conclusions were undeniably grim.

Internal And External Factors That Affect The Corporate...
There is a conflict in the workplace due to both the internal and external factors. With a stressed
economy and ever snowballing prices of basic amenities like food, gas and other numerous
commodities, these peripheral strains cause problems on employee s home life. These external
conflicts are seen on their work and internal conflict arises. These peripheral stresses put hard hitting
on the economic conditions employers. Often the employees feel their work area as burden and
consequently lack of interest in the work arises. Instability in an organization can be due to the
following reasons:
ORGANISATIONAL:
When there is reformation and reorganizing taking place in an organization in a short time frame,
leads to subversion of the organization. It occurs due to the following:
(a) Change in organizational structure.
The decision makers are not aware that how reformation and reorganizing process will affect the
corporate culture. It is fairly noticeable ,that not only the structure has been transformed but also the
cultural change has taken place instantly. Cultural changes will necessitate much more time than
changing the organizational structures. When there are melds or procurements there are clangs in
some segments which leads to aggravation of the employees. So the managers are pleased on these
cultural issues which are handled by the decision formulators of the company.
(b) Lack of communication or understanding of the organizational strategies:

Grace Short Story
Grace. A concept hard for many to grasp, yet alone to live by it daily. However, it seems to come easy
for Allison Grace Cobb. Piercing blue eyes, sandy hair and the most contagious smile. These attributes
are only surface deep, but there is one thing that runs through to her core. Called Gracie by her peers,
she radiates the beautiful concept of grace. There have been two definite experiences in her past that
seem to be the common thread in her life continually weaved by God s grace. The first and most
painful stitch occurred at the age of 10. Young Gracie witnessed her granddad, better known as Paw
Paw, take his last breath. He was one of my best friends. I loved him and went to see him all the time.
Paw Paw was diagnosed with cancer in January, and by the end of February he had passed away. I had
been warned, and I was with him almost every day as he got sick. You might expect someone in this
situation to experience anger and shock over this sudden death. This was not the case with Gracie. She
was blessed, for the first time, with God s grace. It [his death] gave me closure and made me grow up.
I feel like if I hadn t watched him take his last breath I wouldn t have handled it the way I did.

Impulse Control In Romeo And Juliet Analysis
One might believe that fate or destiny is the crucial reasons behind the characters catastrophe.
However, it is actually the impulses and the inability to control it which results in the enormous
amount of tragedies in this play. In the play, Romeo and Juliet by William shakespeare; Romeo, Juliet
and Mercutio are pivotal characters who choose to make decisions on impulses. Haste combined with
the dearth of impulse management is the main reason of this play s several tragic events. If a number
of the characters gained the power to carry off their impulsive acts and ponder things through, there
would be a better chance that the deaths of lover, Juliet and others may have been avoided. This essay

himself. Using words which are highly intimidating and threatening, Mercutio gives Tybalt no choice
but to engage in a duel. The following violent words are exchanged between the two characters.
TYBALT: Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries that thou hast done me, therefore turn and draw.
ROMEO: I do protest I never injured thee, But love thee better than thou canst devise, Till thou shalt
know the reason of my love; And so, good Capulet, which name I tender As dearly as mine own, be

The Outsiders Differences Between Book And Movie
The Outsiders
Books and movies have many similarities and differences, this is some similarities and differences in
The Outsiders. The similarities in the books are they all have the same lesson/theme. In the book and
movie the lesson or point is the split between gangs and how they also have the same problems on
both sides of town this makes the story more reliable than not to have the same theme. In the movie
and the book the themes are very apparent in the split between social groups which makes the story
have the same feeling as the book. In the movie in the book and movie Johnny is abused by his
parents. This is important because in the book Johnny is the shy character which is always in the lot or
not at home which forms the character. That is how some similarities in the book and the movie of the
great novel The Outsiders. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some of the more apparent differences in the book and movie is that in the book Johnny is a very shy
and soft spoken yet on the movie johnny is more talkative. This affects the plot greatly by saying that
Johnny is beaten and is on the verge to kill yet in the movie the feeling of being abused is not here.
This leads me to believe that Johnny doesn t have the strength to kill Bob Sheldon. Another difference
is that in the book is that Johnny in the hospital was on a bed but in the movie Johnny is is on a high
tech bed which is built for his injury. This is important because in the movie the specialized bed gives
the feeling that he is in critical condition which makes the audience more emotional than the book
with Johnny in a common bed which does not give the feeling of a critical condition. That is some of
the many differences in the book and movie of The

Chuck Jones
Chuck Jones was and still is a pioneer of animation, contributing to over 300 films animated films. He
redfeined character development and storytelling. There are three methods that Chuck employed to his
animations. Firstly, the jokes. Many people remember The Looney Tunes not only for the characters,
but the jokes. Chuck Jones installed a two part structure to every episode. The first part leads you to
make an assumption and the second part proves it wrong. However, the amount of work put into every
single character is what truly set the films apart, leading us to the second method creating relatable
characters. Chuck Jones wanted to make the characters relatable to audiences he wasn t just looking
for jokes, he wanted these characters ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It helps to have the dialogue, but the dialogue is not the thing that makes it work. The story should tell
itself by the way it moves. Now that we know what the character wants and how they move to get it,
we can then add in the personality of the character to the assumption. On the flipside, there is danger
to this method and you can easily get trapped in a formula. In order to counteract this, Chuck Jones
disciplined himself. Discipline is our third method because animating always you to do whatever you
want, so you have to think about what you won t do. For example, Bugs bunny never instigated a
fight, he only retaliates when others start it. Chuck Jones did this because if he did not, Bugs Bunny
would appear as a bully. Chuck Jones also applied discipline to how character expressed themselves.
In earlier years, they tended to go through a slew of expressions in a couple of seconds, but over time
Chuck Jones stuck to using the smallest possible gestures and that made the jokes funnier. But the
most important lesson that Chuck Jones has taught us, is to be inspired by everyday life because it is
no good to draw if you have nothing to

Homecoming Should Be Abolished Essay
I feel that homecoming shouldn t be abolished. Abolishing homecoming would be upsetting to
students and former students. The reasons I feel this way is because homecoming could be so much
fun, you also get to know more about your school and learning their traditions of the school. To begin
with, homecoming could be fun for new students and former students. In homecoming week they do
something called spirit week. In spirit they allow you to dress up and show your school spirit. They
have a homecoming football game which is so fun because you have people coming out to support
your school. They also all teachers to show their spirit and dress up. They have students running for
homecoming king and queen, which is competitive to see who will take over the crown. A lot of
people run, but some lose. It is still fun to run because at least they tried. If they take homecoming
away it would be boring to students because there s not going to be a football game to attend. The
football game is mostly where the fun is. Homecoming could never get old so it s going to be
impossible to take that away from ICN high school. Our school is one of the best in the city and
everyone love to our football games. Homecoming is where all the fun is at in our school.
Additionally, you get to know more about your school. In homecoming, a lot of the history your
school is recognized. Homecoming is to welcome back former students. Who attended the school

The Evolution Of Punishment And Its Effect On Society
Introduction
The evolution of punishment has come a long way in Canada from Confederation in the 1800 s to
present day 21st century. Research has been going on continuously to identify whether these
punishments are based on a person s behaviour or on society itself. The word punishment is referred to
as a penalty inflicted on an offender through judicial procedure ( Punishment | Definition of
Punishment by Merriam Webster ). In today s society does the punishment equivalent to the crime
committed by an offender? Therefore, how much punishment should one receive based on their
offence? It is a conflicting matter that has brought the government and the public into speculation on
the judicial system from time to time. Punishment is a philosophy, which states many years back when
someone was seen committing wrongdoings they were punished by cutting off their heads or hanging
them.
During the evolution it used to be an eye for an eye, if you killed me, I went after your family as
revenge. The days have changed, where now they have introduced the Canadian Bill of laws, to help
with the punishment of offenders. Now capital punishment is punishments that result in death
penalties for people who have committed capital crimes, and offences. It is viewed around the world
as something different. For example, in certain parts of the world people do not believe in punishment,
whereby in some parts they do believe and take very extreme measures. In parts of the world such as

Philosophy Statement
When I finished junior high school I enrolled in a training program to teach elementary students in
some of the most remote regions of Mexico. I was excited about the prospect of teaching reading,
writing, and mathematics to underprivileged students in areas of my country that needed education
more than anything else to bring them into the modern era. I had seen the difference a few good
teachers had made in my life. It was one of my earliest ideas to help the youth in my country rise
above the limitations of their past and see the possibilities available to them with hard work in school.
My father did not think it was such a good idea to allow his 16 year old daughter to travel without
family or familiar chaperones to strange and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Even though I would have preferred to dabble in other courses and learn more of the liberal arts, I felt
an obligation to find, and finish a program that would yield the greatest monetary rewards for my
effort. I put my nose to the grindstone and worked to become the best accountant I could be. However,
as much as I wanted to become an accountant, I knew I would prefer teaching accounting more than
actually being an accountant.
Over time the subjects I want to teach have changed, but my enthusiasm is still the same. I keep
thinking that there is no better place to change the world than in a classroom. In the beginning I
wanted to become an elementary school teacher, and later I wanted to become an accounting teacher.
Now I want to become a Spanish teacher at the postsecondary level.
So why do I want to become a Spanish teacher? I love the idea of teaching something once and
knowing my students will be able to apply or share their information many times. For instance, if I
teach my students how to casually greet native Spanish speakers instead of using formal addresses that
are found in textbooks; the next time they go to a Mexican restaurant, they can speak to their server in
a friendlier manner. Even if this seems insignificant, the Mexican waiter will appreciate the effort and
the American will be better off than if they only established a monolingual conversation. Connecting

The Impacts Of Thomas Jefferson And Alexander Hamilton
Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton both had significant impacts on the U.S. government, but
also had countless differences throughout their lives. Jefferson originated from one of the most
prominent families in Virginia with proper education at a young age, while Hamilton grew up in the
slums of St. Croix and received little formal education. As they entered the political world, they
sought plans to improve/make america great but their ideas clearly contradicted against one another.
Between the two Founding Fathers, I find Alexander Hamilton to be more trustworthy because he
constructed a stable foundation for America s economics and government that continues to be used till
this day. Thomas Jefferson was born into a notable family on April 13, 1743, in Shadwell, Virginia.
His mother, Jane Randolph Jefferson, was a member of the proud Randolph clan, a family claiming
descent from English and Scottish royalty. His father, Peter Jefferson, was a successful farmer as well
as a skilled surveyor and cartographer ( Thomas Jefferson Biography.com ) Jefferson spent majority of
his free time practicing violin, roaming the wood and studying his books on a plantation in Virginia.
At age nine, Jefferson had begun his formal studies, boarding with a minister teacher, where he
continued until age sixteen. Unlike Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton was born on January 11, 1755 (or
1757) into a poor and unprivileged family in Charlestown, Nevis. His mother was Rachel Fawcett

Peter Paul Rubens Dichotomy
Peter Paul Rubens is known as one of the great artists of the Baroque period. Notorious for his
paintings of religious scenes, mythology, and portraits, his style is easily recognizable through his
portrayal of large, pale, nude women (Johnson 144, 145). In his painting, Diana and Her Nymphs
Departing for the Hunt, Rubens positions Diana, a goddess in Roman mythology, at the forefront of
the piece partially topless, reflecting her fertility and sexuality; meanwhile in the background a
confrontation between a nymph and satyr display the conflict between nakedness and nudity, male and
female, and obscene and control. Diana is the Roman goddess of the moon, the hunt, childbearing, and
chastity. According to the Cleveland Museum of Art, different ... Show more content on

In the article, Erotic Ambiguities: The Female Nude in Art, Helen McDonald, graduate of fine arts at
University of Melbourne, argues that the difference between nude and naked can be simplified to the
difference between privilege form over matter, male over female, and art over obscenity (McDonald
61). In order for the naked body to survive as art, Rubens must discipline and regulate the body
(McDonald 61). In the painting, Diana and her nymphs are nude as opposed to naked because they are
bounded by clothes and their body movements seem controlled. However, the satyr is naked instead of
nude because his motions appear erratic and forceful, not within bounds, and the nymph is trying to
control him. Diana, the goddess of the hunt, epitomizes control in the photo not just through her body
language but because she has the power to tame wild animals, which is illustrated with her interaction
with the dogs in the painting. Additionally, Nicole Sault in The Savage Body claims that a savage can
be distinguished through his nakedness and that savages are typically portrayed as males until they
have been controlled, in which they are depicted as female (Sault 4). The male satyr is a clear
representation of a savage through his bare, partially animalistic body, while Diana is noticeably calm
and composed. The

Bioinformatics scientist when dealing with DNA microarray data face a challenge of how analysing
cluster data in order to discover important knowledge and features (p1). Different clustering methods

a generic solution to overcome the challenge. Most developed applications for DNA microarray are

College Education Is Worth The Cost Of College
Most Americans grow up in their late teenage years with the idea that they will go to college.
However, few individuals take the time to think about the essence of a college education. For some
people college education is worth it whiles for others it may not be worth the cost. General assumption
of not making it to college and still making it in life has now become a wise saying for desperate
people who have decided to chase money but not a career. A recent study emphasized that one can
eventually make it without going to college but how many people do make it happen. The straightest
course to achievement in life is manifested in College, and therefore, it is worth every dime one
decides to invest in college. However, It also doesn t mean you will automatically be successful in life
if you are done with college, but the statistics from many studies shows that the probability of College
graduates making it to the top after finishing college is higher than as compared to undergraduate
college students.
One of the fundamental reasons why individuals go to college is to make money and feel comfortable
shortly. However, most parents especially, in the United States spent most of their family investment
to send their children to school because they view education as an investment. In Rodney Smith essay
yes, a college Education is Worth the Cost he stated that graduates enjoy increased opportunity for
employments at higher rates of pay, providing them with the courage to pay off

Baby Step 1: Put $1000 in a Beginner Fund
This may not seem like a major move in becoming debt free, but it gives us well needed practice in
changing our behaviors to start becoming money minded. For me this was a step that was already
complete, however, for some this may be the hardest step to take because it requires them to change
and become committed to a new process (Ramsey, 2012).
Baby Step 2: Pay Off All Debt Using the Debt Snowball
The debt snowball is a simple concept by which the user makes a list of all of their outstanding debts
from lowest to highest and starts paying them off. This step takes some coordination through
budgeting and lifestyle reduction. In the Chapter titled Dumping Debt , Dave states that the first thing
we should do to eliminate debt, is to quit borrowing money, which includes using credit cards
(Ramsey, 2012). This is such a profound revelation, taking that credit card debt is up to 887 billion
dollars as of January 2015 (Nasdaq, 2014).

To accurately judge a piece of written work like History Lesson , by Arthur C. Clarke, one must be
educated and experienced in detecting the use of literary elements and their effectiveness. Through
examination, I have concluded that History Lesson is an excellent piece of work that displays its high
quality through it effective use of several literary devices. The fictional sci fi short story exhibits its
excellence through its notable presentation and use of a theme, irony and symbolism.
The story is effective as I believe a memorable theme is presented to the reader. The theme of the story
is that history is subjective and that what is left behind is often interpreted inaccurately. When reading

Throughout the short story, the Venusians are presented as a highly intelligent species on Venus. In an
attempt to study life on Earth before the extinction, they put a tremendous amount of work into
uncovering and examining the relics from the cairn. However, all this labour, all this research, would
be utterly in vain (Clarke, 329) as they extrapolate what they believe to be an accurate representation
of life on Earth from A Walt Disney Production. When analyzing the film, although they state that the
record was somewhat stylized, rather than an exact reproduction of life as it actually had been on the
Third Planet (Clarke, 328), they were not completely aware that the record was an animation or
cartoon; a film deliberately made with a sequence of drawings rather than real people. This is an
example of dramatic irony as we the audience are aware of information the Venusian are not aware of.
Situational Irony is also present. When the Venusian Historian stated that they had discovered the
exact form and nature of the ruling life on the Third Planet (Clarke, 326). The audience expects him to
show evidence of what we know to be an accurate representation of life on Earth due to Venusian s
portrayal as a highly advanced species. However, the opposite of what we expect occurs (situational

Hypocrisy In To Kill A Mockingbird Analysis
Hypocrisy in To Kill a Mockingbird In her coming of age novel To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee
explores how the precocious protagonist, Jean Louise Scout Finch, struggles to fit into her role as a
lady and has a difficult time coming to terms of the cruelty as well as the injustice her Southern town
displays through discrimination. Scout resides with her family in Maycomb County, Alabama in the
1930s a town severely divided by color. She goes through a breathtaking metamorphosis throughout
the novel when her father Atticus defends a Negro man accused of rape, exposing her to the true roots
of human behavior. Through the use of settings, characterization, and ironies, Lee implies that
hypocrisy is a tragic act to be involved in; it can ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Another hypocritical scene occurs in the novel when the people of Maycomb make untrue judgements
about the Radley Place and its inhabitants. For instance, Scout states, The shutters and doors of the
Radley house were closed on Sundays, another thing alien to Maycomb s ways: closed doors meant
illness and cold weather only (11). It is duplicitous of the townspeople to scrutinize the Radleys based
solely on town gossip and the appearance of their home. The Radley home is intentionally used as an
excuse by the townspeople to isolate the Radleys since their way of living is not considered normal in
their eyes. Overall, numerous reasons can be found why people tend to be hypocritical; it is evident as
to why many possess this quality in Maycomb. Lee uses characterization, a crucial literary device, to
display to readers the lethal effects of hypocrisy in society. As Miss Maudie said, Mockingbirds don t
do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They don t eat up people s gardens, don t nest in
corncribs, they don t do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. That s why it s a sin to kill a
mockingbird (119). Despite his innocence and role of a mockingbird, Tom was condemned guilty of
rape and shot 17 times. Mayella herself believes in beauty in an ugly world yet her heinous actions
caused her to be a part of that ugliness. Humans often appear to be hypocritical when they attempt to
prove a point, yet their behavior

Our Materialistic Society
The term materialism is known as a philosophy, and also an issue in our society. By definition,
materialism is the theory or attitude that physical well being and worldly possessions constitute the

difference in skin colors to their love. Even going as far as to claim that That thou hast practiced on

the idea that the only way his daughter would betray him would be if she were under some spell. This
appearance drives him so far in his sadness that he can no longer handle it anymore, echoing the idea

The Socio Economic Status Affects Education
Proving students in our Nation with a better education can help save our children from the clutches of
poverty, crime, drugs, and hopelessness, and we help safeguard our Nation s prosperity for generations
yet unborn. Elijah Cummings. He makes a very extremely good point. Kids who receive a better
education rarely ever become poor, fall into crime or drugs. They learn exactly what they need to do to
become successful. Which is the main reason why when you look at kids who are poor they aren t
getting the smarted and neither are their parents. The socio economic status does impact education in
many ways if not in all ways. A lot of people would say that it has nothing to do with money and it all
depends on the person, but have you ever realized that people who live in Beverly Hills have a way
better education than someone in Philadelphia. What makes them so different? One thing and that s
money. Those parents are able to pay for their kids to have the best education out there. While some
families in Philadelphia can barely afford to feed their kids. Of course though that s not the only factor
when it comes to a kid who receives the better education. It also depends on how much the school
makes in terms of money and the teachers, because even if you re not poor or if you live in a bad area
then your kid could be receiving a bad education.
Isaiah Lamb was once one of the many students in public education who standard of living was very
poor Money for his family was

The Role Of Women During The Last Few Decades Based On...
The role of women has been greatly overseen in the last few decades based on traditional taboos. A
woman should be the spiritual leaders of the family and Catharine Beecher stood by it all. Beecher
was one of the most prominent advocator of women s education in the 1800 s. She took many steps
and chances to improve the amount of education a women should have inside and outside of the
household. Beecher believed that a woman should not just settle for cooking, cleaning and taking care
of the children. She encouraged women to expand their horizon and be a teacher inside and outside of
the home. Beecher was the driving force in development of teacher education and formal education
for American women. She kept the traditional curriculums, like arts and science, along with a few
domestic skills, (Beecher, 1846). Beecher, like other reformers such as Mary Lyon, wanted woman to
have a superior education. She encouraged women to teach Christianity values to their children. Many
girls wanted to learn and grow, however, many families believed that Beecher was getting a little too
carried away with her ideas, (Beecher, 1846). During this time frame, all races were kept separated.
Beecher seen education as an equalizer, however, only that individual from that particular race class
could speak upon what issues they face in society. Hostile political and social environments can deny
them basic rights to education but an education should be available to all, and that is exactly what

The Patient s Request For Euthanasia
INTRODUCTION
The right to end one s life based on individual terms instead of death occurring on its own time has
been highly controversial especially in palliative care. This term is called Euthanasia, which is defined
as the intentional termination of person s life, usually but not always at the person s request, and
usually the context of terminal illness or incurable suffering. Euthanasia has been categorized in terms
of active or passive actions, and voluntary, non voluntary, and involuntary actions. Active euthanasia
involves the killing of a patient instead of allowing the patient die passively by commissioning an
action that would directly cause the patient s death. The passive act of euthanasia is poetically
described as allowing nature ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The possibilities of the patient to be coerced into the act due the inability to accurately determine the
level of sufferer s competency. Technical difficulties are also a concern for the anti euthanasia group.
If the medical professional make a diagnostic error and goes ahead with euthanasia, the patient would
not be given the chance to future treatment and procedures that would have offered a possibility of
living. The patient s suffering might be extended if there was a technical failure in administering an
easy death. This might be due to individual physiological difference that would cause a common
euthanasia procedure to produce a different account, hence prolonging the patient s suffering.
Opinions against euthanasia also defend their stance with the spiritual or religious belief of eternal
punishment for committing any act of suicide. For some, they encourage the principle of double effect
where treatment provided is aimed at elevating the pain but also causes death. The most dubious logic
of the anti euthanasia supporters is the Slippery Slope argument. This provides an ethical landscape
when making social changes in the society. It is a general belief that s socially and legally accepting
voluntary euthanasia would trigger the abuse of involuntary and non voluntary euthanasia. They
emphasize the morally relative difference when a person is

The True Nature Of Universal Intelligence And Innate...
INNATE INTELLIGENCE
We have seen that the essence or origin of all that exists is intelligence, and it is organized in similar
patterns throughout the Universe. Therefore, we called it Universal Intelligence. By inference, we
understand that this principle is not foreign or external to the universe, but that it is rather intrinsic,
innate in all its manifestations, all phenomena of Life. Let s see what the definitions of the word innate
tells us: that which exists inside ; that which is with ; native or natural ; that which is essential in
nature . And the meaning of essential: what is in itself ; own and permanent identity . The essential
nature of everything that exists, all beings, animated or inanimated, including Man, is therefore the
Universal Intelligence, and we say that this is innate and gives them an identical essence that unites
them despite their apparent or superficial difference.
Innate Intelligence, or innate, is the term that applies to the present universal essence in each one of
us. It is the true nature of man. Intelligence, Universal and Innate, is what is. It is what we are really.
The life of our body, the existence of our mind, our spirit, is inherently innate intelligence in us.
Beyond the identity that we give ourselves, beyond our diverse personalities, it ... Show more content

Michener, Space) I am here today arguing a denied, avoided, and controversial topic [Christian Persecution]; and, I am doing this so that I can make the increasing amount of attacks on our first amendment rights known. The injustice here is not only the attacks on Christians rights to religious freedom, but also because it is ignored. The rights of everyone are compromised because no matter what religion you identify with or even one at all, there is a precedent being set that denying someone s right is okay. 1,400 documented attacks on religious freedom, at a 15% increase over the past year and a 133% increase over the past five years. Number 3: People are unable to practice their religions freely. Part III Reason 1: This is an injustice because our first amendment right is being violated. The first amendment states that, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Buildings like Sagrada Familia, Guggenheim Museum, Burj Al Arab, and even the White House have attracted my interested toward architecture by bringing me endless awes and wonders. Out of so many famous and recognizable architects who designed marvelous buildings, this special Chinese family attracts extra attention. Maybe a highly skilled architect is honorable, but a loyal architect family who devoted their generations to architecture deserves the respect from all architects. In the following paragraphs, I will describe this family and their work, as well as their importance and contribution to the history of architecture. Yang Shi Lei , meaning the Lei style , was a name for Lei family who worked as royal architects over 200 years of Qing dynasty. In the end of 17th century, like many artisans, Fada Lei came to Beijing and started working to build the palaces for Qing dynasty. Due to his outstanding building skills and different architectural style, he was prided to be the designer of many royal buildings. The primary objective of this research was to produce a study that displayed that chronic coffee consumption has preventative effects in mammals. This paper will allow me to trace the method that the scientists used in this particular mice experiment. Using the scientific method during the mice experiment allowed the scientists to ask certain questions, make observations, and receive answers to their questions. During this experiment twenty one mice were tested to determine whether water or diluted black coffee would lower the mice blood glucose levels. Through my research and examination of this experiment I will develop a hypothesis and come to a conclusion on the basis of the research provided. Identifying the Steps, Observations, and Hypothesis The identified steps of the scientific method are ask a question, do background research, construct a hypothesis, test your hypothesis by doing an experiment, analyze your data and draw a conclusion, and communicate your results. The observations the scientist made leading up to this experiment were that mice, which are mammals, have a relatively similar body system to that of a human. The fact that mice s DNA is so similar to that of a human and that their life span is so short, scientist can observe how this experiment will affect their bodies in a much faster frame of time. Songs such as Blowin in the Wind and The Times are A Changin made him favorable to anti war demonstrators and supporters of the Civil Rights movement. He was commonly hailed as the spokesman for his generation. Dylan used lyrics to allow the youth to find their own form of counter culture. The youth generation began to see the effects racism, war, etc. effect the society in America. To combat this, the youth created their own form of counter culture to promote a peaceful change within society. Some of their actions include forming anti war protests that opposed America s involvement in the Vietnam War, and supporting African Americans/women get the rights they deserve through the Civil Rights Movement. Bob Dylan s music appealed to the young generation because he openly expresses his disapproval of the establishment in order to influenced his audience to move in a direction for change. Counterculture youth rejected cultural norms of the previous generation and their values and lifestyles opposed the mainstream culture present in the 1950 s. The activation of B lymphocytes results in the proliferation of antigen specific cells, also called clonal expansion and their differentiation into effector cells that actively secrete antibodies. During their differentiation, some B cells may begin to produce antibodies of different heavy chain classes (or isotypes). This process is called heavy chain class (isotype) switching. Repeated exposure to a protein antigen results in the production of antibodies with increasing affinity for the antigen. This process is called affinity maturation and it lead to the production ... Some of the studies on this topic are Demirguc Kunt and Levine (1995), Levine and Zervos (1993, 1995, 1998) etc. In theory well developed stock market should enduce saving and efficiently allocate capital to productive investments which would later lead to increase in the rate of real output. Stock markets contribute to accumulation of domestic savings by enhancing the scope of financial instruments available to savers and investors trough diversification of their portfolios. Dailami and Aktin (1990) think stock markets provide important source of capital investment at low cost which should serve as an obvious benefit for the economy in general. In developed economies with developed stock markets share ownership provides individuals with probably the most liquid means of sharing the risks and benefits of investing in promising projects. The main advantage of liquid stock market is that it provides investors to cope with liquididy risk by allowing participants hit by illiquidity constraints to sell their stakes to othe participants who at the time do not suffer form the same problem. These transactions are done in real time with frictions in the market being at the minimum. The ending result of this process is that capital is not prematurely withdrawn form firms to meet short term liquidity need. It is just changing hands. The malware itself is disguised as a legitimate application that is installed on the user?s phone, once the phone comes into contact with the contactless card, the cards details are scanned and the information is relayed to a command and control server. Until the late 1800s, women healers in Western Europe and the U.S. provided abortions and trained other women to do so, without legal prohibitions. There were many different ways they attempted to do this procedure; such as a pennyroyal tea, which according to Thorpe, is toxic at just five grams. They believed that jumping and kicking yourself in the buttocks would also make a women have a miscarriage. Sitting over a pot of hot onions, and using camel saliva, ants, and deer hair was also a popular way to have an abortion back then. Ocean Acidification Is Destroying Our Environment Evelyn Yang Nick Grossenbacher Essay Writing A July 6, 2015 Ocean Acidification: How the Ocean s Declining pH is Destroying Our Environment Sometimes called climate change s equivalently destructive twin , ocean acidification is becoming more and more noticeable as the seawater s changing chemistry begins to cause environmental and economical problems. When the Industrial Revolution began around 1760, fossil fuel powered machines gained an immense amount of accessibility and popularity. Since then, carbon dioxide (CO2) levels in the atmosphere have risen enough to change the pH of the world s oceans. Given that the ocean absorbs almost half of the CO2 that is released into our atmosphere, ocean acidification is inclining into an even greater problem as fossil fuels become a more common energy source in our society. Higher acid levels can harm wildlife, disrupt the food chain, and negatively impact industries that rely on the ocean for business. Ocean acidification is causing growing dilemmas for both marine ecosystems and ocean based economies. Although many companies and organizations are attempting to fix this problem, acidification is still threatening to cause increasingly harmful issues for the future. Large Events Of Philadelphia Liabilities of Large Events Philadelphia consistently ranks among one of the most popular cities in the United States, both in terms of visitation and in terms of global recognition. This ranking is driven by prominent events in the past, and 2016 will be no different. Events such as the papal visit and the democratic nomination convention will inevitably influence Philadelphia s economy, and it has long been an accepted notion that these events cause a positive impact. However, recent studies have begun to erode this misconception. The disastrous papal visit proved the economic harm of large scale events, and in events such as the upcoming Democratic national convention, Philadelphia shouldn t expect any significant economic windfall. The large influx of tourists coming to city for large events repels local citizens who consume from local businesses, resulting in local businesses being forced to fall behind schedule. The Papal visit was projected to generate 400 million dollars for the city, but instead exemplifies the way in which super events can go awry (Debree 2). Pope Francis visited the city of Philadelphia from September 26th through the 27th, and predictably paranoia ensued. There are three methods that Chuck employed to his animations. Firstly, the jokes. Many people remember The Looney Tunes not only for the characters, but the jokes. Chuck Jones installed a two part structure to every episode. The first part leads you to make an assumption and the second part proves it wrong. However, the amount of work put into every single character is what truly set the films apart, leading us to the second method creating relatable characters. Chuck Jones wanted to make the characters relatable to audiences he wasn t just looking for jokes, he wanted these characters ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It helps to have the dialogue, but the dialogue is not the thing that makes it work. The story should tell itself by the way it moves. Now that we know what the character wants and how they move to get it, we can then add in the personality of the character to the assumption. On the flipside, there is danger to this method and you can easily get trapped in a formula. In order to counteract this, Chuck Jones disciplined himself. Discipline is our third method because animating always you to do whatever you want, so you have to think about what you won t do. For example, Bugs bunny never instigated a fight, he only retaliates when others start it. Chuck Jones did this because if he did not, Bugs Bunny would appear as a bully. Chuck Jones also applied discipline to how character expressed themselves. In earlier years, they tended to go through a slew of expressions in a couple of seconds, but over time Chuck Jones stuck to using the smallest possible gestures and that made the jokes funnier. But the most important lesson that Chuck Jones has taught us, is to be inspired by everyday life because it is no good to draw if you have nothing to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

They have a homecoming football game which is so fun because you have people coming out to support your school. They also all teachers to show their spirit and dress up. They have students running for homecoming king and queen, which is competitive to see who will take over the crown. A lot of people run, but some lose. It is still fun to run because at least they tried. If they take homecoming away it would be boring to students because there s not going to be a football game to attend. • 27. The Evolution Of Punishment And Its Effect On Society Introduction The evolution of punishment has come a long way in Canada from Confederation in the 1800 s to present day 21st century. Research has been going on continuously to identify whether these punishments are based on a person s behaviour or on society itself. The word punishment is referred to as a penalty inflicted on an offender through judicial procedure ( Punishment | Definition of Punishment by Merriam Webster ). In today s society does the punishment equivalent to the crime committed by an offender? Therefore, how much punishment should one receive based on their offence? It is a conflicting matter that has brought the government and the public into speculation on the judicial system from time to time. Punishment is a philosophy, which states many years back when someone was seen committing wrongdoings they were punished by cutting off their heads or hanging them. During the evolution it used to be an eye for an eye, if you killed me, I went after your family as revenge. The days have changed, where now they have introduced the Canadian Bill of laws, to help with the punishment of offenders. Now capital punishment is punishments that result in death penalties for people who have committed capital crimes, and offences. It is viewed around the world as something different. For example, in certain parts of the world people do not believe in punishment, whereby in some parts they do believe and take very extreme measures. In parts of the world such as India, ... Jefferson originated from one of the most prominent families in Virginia with proper education at a young age, while Hamilton grew up in the slums of St. Croix and received little formal education. As they entered the political world, they sought plans to improve/make america great but their ideas clearly contradicted against one another. Between the two Founding Fathers, I find Alexander Hamilton to be more trustworthy because he constructed a stable foundation for America s economics and government that continues to be used till this day. Notorious for his paintings of religious scenes, mythology, and portraits, his style is easily recognizable through his portrayal of large, pale, nude women (Johnson 144, 145). In his painting, Diana and Her Nymphs Departing for the Hunt, Rubens positions Diana, a goddess in Roman mythology, at the forefront of the piece partially topless, reflecting her fertility and sexuality; meanwhile in the background a confrontation between a nymph and satyr display the conflict between nakedness and nudity, male and female, and obscene and control. In the article, Erotic Ambiguities: The Female Nude in Art, Helen McDonald, graduate of fine arts at University of Melbourne, argues that the difference between nude and naked can be simplified to the difference between privilege form over matter, male over female, and art over obscenity (McDonald 61). In order for the naked body to survive as art, Rubens must discipline and regulate the body (McDonald 61). In the painting, Diana and her nymphs are nude as opposed to naked because they are bounded by clothes and their body movements seem controlled. However, the satyr is naked instead of nude because his motions appear erratic and forceful, not within bounds, and the nymph is trying to control him. Diana, the goddess of the hunt, epitomizes control in the photo not just through her body language but because she has the power to tame wild animals, which is illustrated with her interaction with the dogs in the painting. Additionally, Nicole Sault in The Savage Body claims that a savage can be distinguished through his nakedness and that savages are typically portrayed as males until they have been controlled, in which they are depicted as female (Sault 4). This term is called Euthanasia, which is defined as the intentional termination of person s life, usually but not always at the person s request, and usually the context of terminal illness or incurable suffering. Euthanasia has been categorized in terms of active or passive actions, and voluntary, non voluntary, and involuntary actions. The possibilities of the patient to be coerced into the act due the inability to accurately determine the level of sufferer s competency. Technical difficulties are also a concern for the anti euthanasia group. If the medical professional make a diagnostic error and goes ahead with euthanasia, the patient would not be given the chance to future treatment and procedures that would have offered a possibility of living. This might be due to individual physiological difference that would cause a common euthanasia procedure to produce a different account, hence prolonging the patient s suffering. Opinions against euthanasia also defend their stance with the spiritual or religious belief of eternal punishment for committing any act of suicide. They emphasize the morally relative difference when a person is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

And the meaning of essential: what is in itself ; own and permanent identity . The essential nature of everything that exists, all beings, animated or inanimated, including Man, is therefore the Universal Intelligence, and we say that this is innate and gives them an identical essence that unites them despite their apparent or superficial difference. Innate Intelligence, or innate, is the term that applies to the present universal essence in each one of us. It is the true nature of man. Intelligence, Universal and Innate, is what is. It is what we are really. The life of our body, the existence of our mind, our spirit, is inherently innate intelligence in us.
