In this situation there are two options for someone to take, first reject one of the main premises that
god is not omniscient or that such a being exists in the first place. Refusing to believe she exists of

How Does Disco Affect Society During The 1970s
This author intends to explore how disco impacts the society during the 1970s. On Saturday nights it
did not matter what race, skin color or sexual preference, disco music did what the late 1960 protests,
rallies and rock music could not do, it brought all the different cultures on the dance floor dancing the

John Dewey is the most important figure in the progressive education movement. He is a philosopher
and an educator whom developed a vision of how education should be. At Johns Hopkins University,
Dewey got his PhD in philosophy in 1884. He was teaching philosophy and psychology until his
interests directed him towards child psychology. While studying child psychology, Dewey developed a
philosophy of education that would correlate with democratic society. He then became a professor at

with a psychological insight into the child s abilities, interests, and behaviors. When considering these
insights, one must translate them into terms of their social equivalents in order for the child to use

In Lord Chesterfield s letter to his son, he attempts to shape him into a respectable man worthy of
inheriting the family wealth in ways that can still be recognized in parenting today. In modern times,
parents put a high value on grades and schooling; Chesterfield chides his son to take more care in his
accumulation of knowledge. Respect is also key, parents still demand the same respect from their
children as Chesterfield expects from his son. Another thing that parents will often say is to learn from
their mistakes which is something Chesterfield places high value on. The things Chesterfield tries to
pass on in this letter to his son say a lot about his personal values, namely, the value he places on
respect, education, and decision making. Throughout his letter, Lord Chesterfield makes small, passive
aggressive remarks that hint underhandedly at the repercussions should his son choose not to respect
what he is saying. He threatens that his young son can not have a shilling in the world but from [him]
