Derealization is the experience that the world is not real; the patient may feel like they are in a dream

with development of PTSD. Children that have been exposed to constant trauma and stress are more
likely to develop PTSD then children from more stable home environments. Some studies have even

College Football Camp Analysis
It all started with me being accepted into to a extremely important college football camp. Now this
camp isn t just like any other normal, football camp, it was the camp of the university of Clemson. So
already I was emotionally nervous, because, there was a lot of important people here for everyone
attending the camp. There were people such as college recruits and obviously the Clemson coaches.
This was going to be a once in a lifetime experience, there s no way I was just about to let it slip. My
first long morning started off early by waking up at 4:30. I slipped my clothes on, and we were off to

In her text, Millet discusses the power structured relationships within a patriarchal society. She defines
the concept of power as a series of oppressive circumstances between power structured relationships.
In this relationship there is a dominant group and subordinate group. Millet states that the male shall
dominate female, elder male shall dominate younger (Millet 25). Women are oppressed in a
patriarchal society, giving men the power to dominate. The theory of patriarchy is derived from the
creation of social norms based on biological differences between males and females (Millet, 27).
Judith Butler would refer to these norms as the ways in which society believes each gender should
perform. Women are socialized to be loving, affectionate and feminine, while men are more prone to
dominant behavior. This has created cultural expectations that encourage the notion that women are
inferior to men (Millet 31). During child development, family and society have traditionally
encouraged patriarchal structures by reinforcing certain behavior such as aggression in male or
passivity in female. As a result, children develop a core gender identity based on their upbringing.
Children then grow within a culture of sexual hierarchy while maintaining the roles they have been

College Is A Waste Of Time Essay
Dale Stephens, founder of Uncollege, a social movement supporting self directed higher education,
has a very strong belief that college is a waste of time. In his opinion piece for CNN appropriately title
College is a waste of time , Stephens shows the downsides of going to college such as the cost of it,
the consequences of failing, and how it does not prepare you for the real world. The Wabash National
study held a survey asking college students and graduates what they came away with out of college.
With all the data they captured, the study concluded that the majority of the groups tested believe the
only things they learned from school were life lessons. The fact of the matter is, although you learn
life lessons throughout your experience in college, ultimately it is a waste of time because it does not
help you much academically.
Sixty two percent of students tested from the survey believed they have moderate to high growth in
moral reasoning. This is a no brainer, seeing that it is a common knowledge that you would pick up by
just going through your life and having form experience. Only twenty one percent of the students said
they have made a contribution to science in college. For something that people go to college for, to
