The Journey Of A Hero In Mystic Hero s Journey
According to Webster s dictionary, a definition of a hero is a mythological or legendary figure often of
divine descent ( Hero ). The thing with heroes is that they are not all mythological or legendary
figures; in fact, heroes can be almost anyone that holds our admiration towards them for whatever
reason. Any person can be deemed a hero from the random person seen walking across the street to
one of your relatives, so eloquently it is their journey that they go through that makes them become
the hero. In Joseph Campbell s book, Hero with a Thousand Faces, to be a hero you have to follow
along with the steps that Joseph Campbell created called Mystic Hero s Journey. From the start of the
first stage where the Call to Adventure begins it all to the end where the final step the Freedom to Live
ends the journey. It is taking notice how a person, such the case for my father, life choices and actions
convert them from being seen as an ordinary person to a genuine hero. For Adolfo Huitron, my father,
it is from the young age of 19 that he received his Call to Adventure. Straker describes in his article
that the call to adventure is where the hero starts off in a mundane situation of normality from which
some information is received that acts as a clarion call (Straker). He is inferencing that the hero starts
off with a normal dull background and it is when something out of the norm occurs or something life
changing happens that the hero in question gets his call to adventure, to begin his journey. At the age
of 19, Adolfo s call to adventure was when he received the news that he was going to be a father. This
news made him want to acquire a better future and life for his life. Living in Mexico during his time
was tough there wasn t much work in the area where he lived and education was poor as well. With
the future of his daughter in mind, he decided that he wanted to move his pregnant wife and himself to
the United States. He knew that in the United States, there were more job opportunities that would
help him provide better things for his family that would be increasing soon enough. He also knew that
the U.S valued the education of children more than in his own town. During the interview that he

Bullying In Erin Murphy s White Lies
One of my most loathed singers, Taylor Swift, once stated, If they don t like you for being yourself, be
yourself even more. However, in Erin Murphy s White Lies , this is not the case for young Connie,
who was a quiet albino girl, new to Arpi s school. Regardless of her desperate efforts to be accepted
by her classmates, they were not warming up to her. Taking action, her mother helped Connie figure
out a way to make her classmates talk to her and like her. I agree with her mother s decision to help
her daughter, even if it wasn t the truth. Bullying is becoming an increasingly important problem for
parents, school administrators and teachers on a vast scale. I cannot imagine how my parents felt when
they discovered I was being ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Every move I made on and off the court from making a terrible pass or even when I would sneeze or
laugh was ridiculed. There was no escape. That loud, brain rattling bell that signaled the end of the
class was my hero, my white knight. I could have my clothes changed, hair combed to perfection and
books packed away by the time it rang. No matter how fast I would run out of the locker room, it was
never fast enough. This cycle continued for a few weeks or so and only really got to me when they
started calling me names. My favorite of the bunch was scoreboard . There was one unfortunate
practice where I tried to pass the ball and somehow managed to shoot it up and away from the court
into the... you guessed it, scoreboard. Already mortified, it didn t help when I was changing clothes
that my ears rang with the sound of their chanting, Scoreboard. Scoreboard. Scoreboard. Unable to
help myself I ran into one of the bathroom stalls my cheeks stained with tears and my eyes flowing
like a mountain stream. It did not end there. Before school the next day, my father dropped me off at
school early for tutorials. My parents have been divorced for almost 13 years which sparked confusion
in me when my mother texted me saying she was picking me up and for me not to go to first period,
which was volleyball. It was not until we arrived at the Cracker Barrel almost 20 minutes away that
my mother asked me. Are you okay? What s been going on in first period? , she questioned

Wal Mart Global Strategy
Wal Mart s Global Strategy
Overview * In the past two decades Wal Mart has been the leading domestic retailer. In 2002, Wal
Mart stood atop the Fortune 500 for the first time. Wal Mart s top ranking reflects the rise of retailing
as one of the most important global industries, as well as the company s individual excellence and
consistent performance. In 2001 the company had higher sales than the next four largest global
retailers combined. The sales differential against U.S. based retailers is even more pronounced, as Wal
Mart top line in 2001 was more than four times that of the second largest retailer Home Depot. Its
primary success has come from its excellence in customer service, supply chain management, and
ability ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Despite Wal Mart s numerous efforts, its international division s profitability lagged well behind that
of domestic operations. This is mainly due to Wal Mart s inability to adapt to local cultures, maintain
its excellence in customer service, and maintain low prices.
Internal Analysis
Tangible Resources * Wal Mart operates the world s biggest private satellite communications system.
This system allows it to track sales, replenish inventory, process payments, and regulate store
temperatures all in real time. Wal Mart has already built many stores in foreign countries. Now it just
needs to manage them efficiently and adapt to the local culture.
Intangible Resources * Wal Mart has exceptional brand reputation in the U.S. which is primarily due
to emphasis on customer and community service. Wal Mart also has excellent employee loyalty
because it gives its employees profit sharing and stock ownership plans. This helps employees to think
and behave like an owner of the company.
Financial Resources * Wal Mart has plenty of financial resources because it is the United States
leading retailer. Profits produced by the domestic stores will help Wal Mart improve its global
operations.
Capabilities * Wal Mart s core competencies are its supply chain management and customer value
focus. The hub and spoke

My Paper On Is Educational Psychology
The topic pertinent to psychology that i chose to do my paper on is educational psychology.
Educational psychology is the study of how humans learn and retain knowledge, primarily in
educational settings like classrooms. This branch not only involves just the learning process of early
childhood and adolescence but it also involves the social, emotional, and cognitive learning processes
that are involved in humans throughout their entire lifespan. Educational psychology combines
numerous amounts of other branches of psychology, including: developmental psychology, behavioral
psychology, and cognitive psychology. Educational psychology is an approximately new subfield that
has had a huge amount of growth in recent years. The four major perspectives in educational
psychology are: Behavioral perspective, developmental perspective, cognitive perspective, and the
constructivist approach. The behavioral perspective proposes that all behaviors are learned through
conditioning. An example of this would be a teacher handing out tickets for participating in class or
good behavior that can later be exchanged for candy or toys. The developmental perspective suggest
how children obtain new skills and knowledge as they develop. An example of this is Jean Piaget s
distinguished stages of cognitive development. The cognitive perspective has become much more
acclaimed in recent decades, mostly because it suggest how things such as memories, emotions,
motivations, and beliefs influence

Females are less violent than males, at least according to...
Females are less violent than males, at least according to recent research. Biologically speaking, there
are differences in levels of violence in men and women (Wright, Tibbett, Daigle, 2008). With eighty
five percent of arrestees being male, it s easy to see that males commit many more violent crimes than
females. These differences are credited to brain configuration, neurotransmitters, the limbic system,
and hormones.
There are different intellectual styles between males and females. These differences can be traced to
some particular structural differences between male and female brains that originate in early
development. The part of the brain that delivers messages between the left brain and right brain is
called the corpus ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A Positron Emission Tomography study was conducted in order to compare the differing levels of
activity of the amygdala in females and males. The study showed that males typically have higher
levels of activity. The amygdala regulates emotions and is located in the lower part of the limbic
system (Beaver, 2009).
The cingulate gyrus is the part of the limbic system that is responsible for keeping emotions and
aggression under control (Wright et al., 2008). Research on the differences in this area between males
and females concluded that females are better retaining emotions internally and are better at
displaying emotional behavior than males. Females have higher levels of serotonin. Serotonin is a
neurotransmitter that helps regulate impulses and control behavior. Low levels of serotonin are
associated with antisocial behavior (Beaver, 2009). Likewise, females also usually have a higher level
of amino butyric than males. This is a neurotransmitter that regulates violence and aggression (Wright
et al., 2009). The different levels of certain neurotransmitters found in males and females provide a
great deal of explanation for the different levels of aggression, violence and criminal behavior found
between the sexes.
There are many differences in the level of hormones found in males and females. Testosterone is a
male hormone that is responsible for generating

Pros And Cons Of Current Pell Grant Rules
Do Pell Grant Rules Discriminate Against the Poor? Current Pell Grant rules require at least 600 class
hours of instruction if grant money is to be used to pay for coursework. Four year university and
college degrees all have well over 600 class hours of instruction. Even associate s degrees meet the
standard. Most technical training courses do not, however. According to the Manufacturing Institute,
up to 600,000 middle skilled jobs are currently available in manufacturing, but there is a lack of
trained workers. The training could be obtained through a short term technical skills program. The
programs are less than 600 hours, however, so those wishing to pursue the training could not use Pell
Grant money to fund the training. The Huffington

New Soviet Man Essay
During the formation of the Soviet Union, leaders such as Stalin not only wanted to attain all
authoritarian and political based rule, but also wanted to attain and achieve a much more complicated
task. Several Soviet Union leaders wanted to attain what was known as the New Soviet Man . This
meant that all forms of society and communities would detach from their former ideals and fully take
on being a soviet and acknowledging the culture in a religious manner. This meant the eradication of
culture and all other religions Stalin disapproved of, and the formation and practice of one religion.
This also meant the disintegration of ethnic communities, and the detachment of religion, such as

The Soviet Union hope to attain the New Soviet Man , but in their attempts only made their state
situation much more dreadful by causing severe fragmentation within several ethnic groups, politics,
as well as the army. This cast upon the Soviets a very bad image, which when the Soviet Union
applied more tension, made their situation only worse. The Soviet Union became such a fragmented
Union that Gorbachev could no longer control the power of the population and was forced to resign,
and hence the fall of the Soviet Union. Political and Ethnic fragmentation contributed to the
disintegration of the Soviet Union by causing division in leadership, This division within the Soviet
leadership weakened its ability to respond to centrifugal forces and contributed to the central
authorities erratic response to them (Hunter et.al, 212), as well as prove that the New Soviet Man was
socially untenable, The notion that nationalities would willingly give up their cultural identities for the
common good, and that a unique soviet man would emerge was socially untenable. (Xenakis,

Beet Research Paper
Beet is a tuberous taproot belonging to the amaranthaceae family, subfamily being Betoideae. Other
vegetables found in the subfamily are sugar beet, mangelwurzel, and Swiss chard. The scientific name
for beet is Beta vulgaris. Beet greens are the green leaves that are connected to the beet itself, and yes
they are edible.

The Importance Of Campaigning In The United States
To win a presidential election, it is a necessity to be able to afford the cost of campaigning. The start
up cost is $10 million just for the headquarter. These candidates will need to spend another $4 to $15
million to stay in the game. The fight to remain as a candidate is vicious as there will only be a couple
of candidates being chosen for the final round. To be in the final round, they have to gain their
popularity, advertise about themselves in order to win. The downside to the hefty price of
campaigning is that only the wealthy can win. The less wealthy ones are those whom are less funded
and are not in the two major political parties in the US. Hence the majority in the US might not be
very well represented due to social inequality.

Value And Its Influence On People s Living
1. Introduction
Money is very important to daily life. It is money that enable people to live a life they want to live and
fulfill the value of life, such as happiness, health , love, and making difference. On the other hand,
values determine every life decision that people makes (Determine the true purpose of money in your
life, 2016).
Value is the monetary worth of something, which has great influence on indivudual s behavior and
attitude. When a purchase decision is made, it involves a value calculation. In general, value is
measured by price. But the price does not really reflect the true value. The most common value is
economic value. Beside economic value, there are cultural value and social value. Value is important
to both individual and business. This essay mainly explores the concept of value and its influence on
people s living.
2. The concepts of value
2.1 Definition of Value
Value is defined as the desirability of something, such as usefulness and exchangeability, also is
defined as the amount of money for a fair exchange for something (paperchain , nd). According to
Adam Smith, the word value , had two different meanings: value in use and value in exchange.George
[1908] mentioned that value of a thing was the largest amount of wealth that anyone was willing to
exchange for. Mises [1934] added that value is always the result of subjective judgments, and
intrinsically related to the worth that the consumer wanted to exchange for. Dewey( 1939) considered

This research article looks at the concept of expedition behavior. Expedition behavior is the mindset in
which an individual acts during a wilderness adventure in order to benefit the group. Using this idea as
a framework, Furman and Sibthorp look to see how expedition behavior is transferred from a
wilderness setting to regular daily life. To test this, the researcher sent online questionnaire to
individuals that partook in 14 day long backpacking trips through the National Outdoor Leadership
School. In the questionnaire, participants were asked about expedition behavior and how they use it in
their daily life. From the results, they found that participants used this mindset to become better
working in groups, provide a new prospective, and helping with a task. They go on to suggest that the
concept of expedition behavior is a transferable skill. Kriel, C., Schreck, C.M. Watson, F. 2016.

committed suicide by the bite of an asp that ensured eternal life for her. Who is this woman? She is
Cleopatra. Even though she is known as a great Egyptian ruler, she was actually Greek (Mark).
Cleopatra of Egypt lived an exciting life full of scandals and war, and she is still regarded as one of

Adam Smith s The Wealth Of Nations
Adam Smith s The Wealth of Nations in 1776 is usually considered to mark the beginning of classical
economics (Smith, 1776). He was the first to articulate that international trade was not a zero sum
game and it was counterproductive to have a single minded reliance on exports. He proposed the
theory that a country should specialize in manufacturing goods that it can make with the fewest
resources, therefore giving it an advantage in the production of that good. This allows for global out to
be maximized, thereby with free trade each country would end up with a greater number of goods than
before.
His notion was that wealth of nation is determined by its labor and not by the amount of gold. In
addition, he stated that when two nations participate in free trade there is an increase in total wealth as
both nations see a profit in exchange. Widely known as the father of modern economics , Adam Smith
contributed a significant amount of knowledge regarding the political economy. It emphasized that
markets operate best without the interference of the government. Classical economists observed that
markets regulate themselves when free of coercion. He referred to the markets self regulating nature,
when buyers are able to choose between various suppliers and companies who do not successfully
compete are allowed to fail, as a metaphorical invisible hand , which moves markets towards natural
equilibrium. During the industrial revolution, Britain embraced free trade and Smith s

Apollonian And The Dionysian
The Apollonian and the Dionysian is a philosophical concept based on different mythologies, many
Philosophers and figures have invoked this dichotomy in critical and creative works. Both are one of
the important themes within Nietzsche s first major work, The Birth of Tragedy and they are terms
used to designate the two central principles in Greek culture.
As far as I know the Apollonian and the Dionysian are both the sons of (God of the sky s) Zeus,
Apollonian is the god of reason and the rational, while the Dionysian is the god of the irrational and
chaos, and that is coming from the Greek mythology. From that mythology I understand that the

Critical Pedagogy ( Cp )
Critical pedagogy (CP) is after fostering a critical and analytical lens which may suggest diverse
possibilities of appreciating the active relationship between teachers learners and teaching learning

Freire gave a new standpoint on education and changed the perspectives of stakeholders. He raised the
issue of empowerment, social change and transformation, dialogic teaching, praxis, humanization,
problem posing education, democratic and liberating education as the cornerstones of critical
pedagogy (Freire, 1970; Robert Freire, 2008; Shore Freire, 1987). In addition, he rooted up the
concept of banking model in which it deemed students as empty agents to be filled by the knowledge
of their teachers. The following attitudes and practices are the buzz words of banking education:
(a) The teacher teaches and the students are taught;
(b) The teacher knows everything and the students know nothing;
(c) The teacher thinks and the students are thought about;
(d) The teacher talks and the students listen meekly;
(e) The teacher disciplines and the students are disciplined;
(f) The teacher chooses and enforces his choice, and the students comply;
(g) The teacher acts and the students have the illusion of acting through the action of the teacher;
(h) The teacher chooses the program content, and the students (who were not consulted) adapt to it;
(i) The teacher confuses the authority of knowledge with his own professional authority, which he sets
in opposition to the freedom of the students;
(j) The teacher is the subject of the learning process, while the pupils are mere objects (Freire, 1970, p.

The Pros And Cons Of Bronx Family Law
Bronx family court lawyers Family law includes all statutes and case precedents that cover paternity,
child custody, child and spousal support, marriage and divorce, and violence as well as other issues
that may arise in a family setting. It also covers grandparents rights. Basically, these cases involve
different parties who share a marriage or blood as well as those in casual arrangements. So, there
could be several contracts that you and your spouse may enter in the course of your marriage. You
may enter into a premarital agreement before tying the knot, a postnuptial agreement while married,
and a separation agreement to end your relationship. And, if the marriage is invalid, then annulment
might be the better option. New York family laws have few grounds for initiating an annulment such
as cases of an underage spouse, unresolved issues regarding previous marriages or marriage by force.
With the above in mind, you and your spouse have several options if you decided that the marriage is
not working. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In most instances of divorce, partners usually distrust each other. As a result, they will tend to worry
about the safety and overall well being of the children. In such circumstances, a family attorney will
argue for your case and, most importantly, ensure the best interest of the children is respected.
Fortunately, New York child custody laws are compliant with Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and
Enforcement Act. In New York, there are two types of custody: physical custody and legal custody.
Physical custody involves a parent living with the child or children. A common trend among divorced
families in New York is one spouse spending time with the children on weekdays while the other
spouse stays with them over the weekend. Even if a parent is not living with a child he or she should
have legal rights i.e. having an influence on important decisions regarding the

The Paradoxes Of Abrahamic Religions
In the beginning, God said let there be Abrahamic religions. And it was so. Ancient Israelites carried
many traditions molded by the conditions in which they found themselves. Monotheism was a very
different ideology at this time in world history and lead to cultural clashes between the Israelites and
other regional powers. Their soteriology and religious practices eventually became the foundations on
which modern Christianity stands. However, time causes great change in many things and Christianity
is no exception. With these theological and fundamental changes arose a number of paradoxes. It is
easy to just accept the discourse of a religion, but when one or a group of people start to truly analyze
the principles of a faith, many times conflicts arise in truly knowing what cannot be know. What is life
like after ones death. Metaphysical idea with really not evidence to support them. It is only with the
insights and work of theologians and writers like Dionysus, Origen, Augustine and Dante that these
paradoxes were further analyzed and resolved. In an ancient world embedded in polytheism, the views
of the ancient Israelites was arguably a radical one for the time. This radicalism in a modern view
seems practical and completely normal, yet during the time of the ancient Jewish people this factor
brought with it a great deal of hardship. The cosmos of the semitic world world was that of heaven
above, the earth in the middle, and the netherworld below (McDannel 1). The

The Competition Of BASF
BASF interacts in the agriculture, automotive and transportation, chemical, energy and resource, paint
and coating as well as in the plastic and rubber industry. The company produces and sells
polyurethanes, engineering plastics, styrenic foams and specialty plastic, which are used in the
consumer, transportation, construction and industrial sector. Polyurethanes, BASF s major product,
consists of the A component and B component. The chemical company Wanhua, which is located in
China, only sells the B component and is therefore not a competitor for BASF regarding the A
component and polyurethane.
Hence, the main competitors of BASF are Dow, Bayer and Huntsman (Coenen, 2014).

BASF offers products to its buyers at certain prices, who can either accept this price or try to

BASF is that the company can easily regulate and even shut down supplies to them. Hence, buyers
depend on BASF as they require the material in order to continue the manufacturing process. This
process is also working the other way around with BASF and its suppliers. On the one hand buyers

Compare the Way Poets Present Relationships in The...
Compare the way poets present relationships in The Farmer s Bride and The Manhunt .
In Charlotte Mew s The Farmer s Bride and Simon Armitage s The Manhunt , difficult relationships
are presented by speakers who are dealing with an emotionally closed partner. Both poems explore
how relationships are affected by mental health issues.
In The Farmer s Bride , the Farmer marries a girl without getting to know her. As the marriage
progresses, the wife s mental illness gradually develops at first she turn[s] afraid , until she tries to run
away, and will only speak to animals. This causes the farmer to become jealous, impatient and
possibly mentally unstable. In the fourth stanza, the farmer describes his wife as she is to nature ...

Even though the woman has not been to war herself, she puts in effort to try and understand her

Simon Armitage repeats the phrase only then five times throughout The Manhunt . This emphasises

how he was injured in the army. In the tenth stanza, the bullet in his chest is described as a

Why I Want To Pursue A Career In The Music Industry
Even though my current job is in the field of customer service and not broadcasting or music
production, it still involves communication. I currently utilize this skill at ACE when I interact with
customers and will do the same at an audio production position when I give advice to vocalists and
musicians. In the future, I can communicate effectively when I discuss my career plans with
counselors at school as well as conduct informational interviews with those who work in the recording
arts industry. I intend to achieve my career goals by using these strategies as well. In one to two years,
I see myself working in the music and broadcasting industries as a freelancer, intern, or full time
employee. In five to ten years, I imagine myself employed at a recording studio in my hometown or
San Francisco or Los Angeles, which in my opinion is the entertainment capital of the world.
Hopefully, by this time, I will have completed my Bachelor s degree and already gained experience in
my desired career industries as well as conducted countless informational interviews. Additionally, my
SoundCloud portfolio will contain over a few hundred instrumentals that I produced. I want to take all
the necessary steps towards becoming a top notch music producer. There are several varying positions
in the music industry that can seek besides a music producer. According to CareersInMusic.com,
which lists both careers in the industry, the list of jobs includes, but is not limited to, audio engineers,

Alexander Mosaic
Discussion of Badian Alexander Mosaic In the section A Note on the Alexander Mosaic Ernst Badian
attempts to give his own interpretation of the Alexander Mosaic. Badian first gives Goethe s
explanation of the mosaic. Goethe believes that Alexander appears as a conqueror while Darius is in
horror. Badian, in this paper, attempts to show that Darius is in the prominent position and Alexander
does not appear a conqueror or a hero. Badian starts his argument by discussing the similarities of a
realistic action painting, like this Mosaic, and a snapshot. This means that the artist is focusing on one
moment in time, and chooses what he wants to show. Badian then start to talk about the mosaic. He
shows how the movement is from right to left, or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Darius is taller than everyone else and learns forward towards the enemy. The horror on his face is
from his seeing the sacrifice his noble made for him. Alexander, however, cannot seem to be able to
control his horse and his helmet has fallen off. This makes him appear as unheroic. The tree in the
mosaic is another piece of Baldin s argument. In order for Darius to use his cavalry, Darius cleared the
ground of the battlefield. This means the tree in the composition was obvious added by the artists and
therefore must have a meaning. One interpretation Baldin gives is that the tree signifies the destruction
of Alexander s wars. Badian ends by discussing the artist. He identifies the commissioner as
Cassander, a King of Macadoia from 305 297 BC, and who Alexander treated poorly. Badian believes
this poor treatment caused Cassander to have a bias while commissioning the mosaic. Therefore, he
wanted a piece that did not glorify Alexander, even if he won every war against the persians. Finally,
this explains why the mosaic show a time when the Persians are dominating the action and while
Alexander looks unheroic, even though Alexander wins in the

However, chitosan solution must be free of aggregates, and hence the solvent for chitosan must be
chosen carefully. The viscometric average molecular weight is usually been calculated from intrinsic
viscosity because of the lower impact of small fractions of aggregates, using the Mark Houwink
relationship. In order to determine K and a parameters, an absolute MW has to be calculated using
light scattering technique and due to high sensitivity to aggregate formation the obtained value is
usually overestimated. These artifacts may be carried out for instance by the use of 0.3M acetic
acid/0.2M sodium acetate (pH = 4.5) solvent which does not form aggregates in this mixture. Under
these conditions, the absolute M values were obtained from steric exclusion chromatography (SEC)

Comparing Power and Freedom in Invisible Man and Notes From Underground
The quest for power is an endless one for humanity. Countless tales of greed, strife, and triumph stem
from this common ambition. Similarly, men universally seek freedom, a privilege entitling an
individual to make independent decisions and express personal opinion. Exploration of the connection
between these two abstract concepts remains a topic of interest, especially in the works of Ralph
Ellison s Invisible Man and Fyodor Dostoevsky s Notes From Underground. Two distinct definitions
of power exist: one deals with societally defined power, generally represented by wealth, leadership,

The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen
Movies that feature characters adapted from novels often change personality traits in order to suit the
film s plot. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is no exception; Mina Harker and the Invisible
Man had drastic changes made to their personality in order to better suit the storyline. Both of them
were given traits that starkly contradict their book personas to create more flawed and realistic
characters.
The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells features Griffin, a scientist who has discovered how to turn himself
and other things invisible. The story follows the undoing of Griffin and his fall into notoriety.

This can be attributed to the fact that Rodney Skinner is not the original Invisible Man. Skinner is a
petty thief who stole the formula for invisibility and used it on himself. The biggest difference
between Griffin and Skinner is their response to setbacks. In The Invisible Man Griffin has a terrible
temper. When things don t go his way he lashes out or injures those who try to stop him. Skinner, on
the other hand, has a very calm demeanor. After finding out that the League had been betrayed he didn
t lash out; in fact he took that as an opportunity to prove himself as useful to the team. This difference
is caused by Griffin and Skinner s motivations. At first Skinner used his invisibility as a way to
become a better thief. Despite his primary intentions, Skinner began to use his invisibility for the
greater good. Griffin however, wanted to use invisibility to gain recognition. It was ironic how he
turned himself invisible so people would begin to notice him.
Griffin s selfish behavior is made clear throughout The Invisible Man, especially towards the end.
Griffin uses a man named Mr. Marvel as a pawn and puts the old man in danger in order to protect
himself. We also find out that his selfish behavior started long before he became invisible. We see
Griffin tell Kemp about how he stole money from his father to further his scientific investigations.

concept but will be or at least should be a reality for most motorists. Electric cars are a better means of
transportation than gasoline powered cars, due to the fact that they save you money in multiple ways,
help combat global warming and boost a country s economy.
To begin with, electric cars are better for the planet. They decrease the emission of greenhouse gases
and increase air quality. Initially, the emissions free quality of EVs also stems from the design of the
motor. It is powered by a process called induction which uses electric and magnetic forces to make the

interest and incentive to allow the following point to become reality.
At last, the point that will most likely spur people to change their mode of transportation is that EVs
help countries economies. The need for the manufacture of electric cars and the installment of a
charging infrastructure will create jobs. In response to critics who say that petrol factory will be left

these automotive industry workers have the necessary skills to build all kinds of vehicles regardless of
a change in the drivetrain. Not only will the manufacturing require a large workforce but also the
construction, maintenance, and operation of charging stations: Recent electric vehicle penetration
brings the necessity of a high number of charging stations (YAGCITEKIN, UZUNOGLU, and

All in all, there is insurmountable evidence pointing to the idea that electric vehicles are the superior

Representative Heuristics
There are four different rules of heuristics in social psychology representative heuristics, availability
heuristics, anchoring and adjustment heuristics, and finally status quo heuristics. Often people employ
heuristics to come to conclusions about a topic rather quickly than sitting and taking their time to go
through the standard notions of problem solving to finally make a decision. A heuristic is a judgement
that may conclude in a probable answer, but may not always be the exact answer overall, or could be
the wrong answer altogether. They do not take into account the base rate of an event. A base rate can
be defined as the actual calculated number of events that happen in the total population being

Working Principle Of The Hybrid Adc System
Working principle of the hybrid ADC system
AD cycle consists of four processes as shown in Fig. 4. These processes are: Isosteric heating process
(1 2): adsorption pair is heated without changing initial adsorbate concentration (C_i ). Isobaric
desorption process (2 3): adsorption pair is heated up with changing adsorbate concentration from C_i
to final concentration (C_f ). On the other side, the desorbed water vapor is condensed in condenser
releasing heat of condensation at condenser temperature〖 (T〗_cond). Isosteric cooling process (3

adsorption process (4 1): the adsorbent adsorbs vapor at evaporator pressure P_evap. In this process,
the adsorbate concentration is increased from C_f to C_i and releasing heat of adsorption. The

Language Used In Oleanna
The quote, The less seen, the more heard. The eye is the enemy of the ear in real drama by Thornton
Wilder, means that what we see distracts us from the real meaning and drama of the play. In the play,
Oleanna, by David Mamet, the visual movement seems important, a piece of the play that it cannot be
without, however it is actually inconsequential. The words, what is heard, carries the action, meaning,
and drama of Oleanna. The words of this play is convoluted and often mean nothing at all, however it
is these qualities that make the words important. The professor often speaks words that sound
interesting but have no meaning and is called out by Carol. He uses language that are flowery, used to
create the idea that he is an intellectual. These words, while having no straight meaning, creates the
overall implication that language is meaningless. This is increased by Carol s frustration at not being

Shield Of Achilles
Hope often contrasts with reality, especially within Greek mythology or similar replications. For
instance, The Shield of Achilles is written by W.H. Auden in the form of a ekphrasis and details the
content on the Shield of Achilles; The Shield of Achilles juxtaposes the idea of hope portrayed by
Thetis versus reality shown through Hephaestus (further referenced as Hep). The speaker in The
Shield of Achilles is blunt in showing Thetis imagery of tranquility, peace and liveliness in
comparison to Hep´s imagery of actuality, war and idleness. Tranquility often becomes contradicted
by what is happening in actuality. As shown in the first four lines of the poem, the speaker´s attitude is
blunt; which is seen when She looked over his shoulder for vines and olive trees, marble well
governed cities and ships upon untamed seas (Lines 1 4). These lines are straight to the point in
showing that Thetis looked over Hep s shoulder and was looking for three things. Thetis, Greek
mother of Achilles instructed Hep´s, Greek god of blacksmiths to make her son a shield with certain
items on it. Thetis wanted things that showed tranquility and items that represented the reverenced
aspect of Greek culture. These items show imagery of Greece being calm and undisturbed, another
things that can be inferred is Thetis, being a mother and only wanting the best things for Achilles
including his safety in a calm city. These items are juxtaposed with actuality when Hephaestus has
done the complete opposite of what Thetis has instructed. Hephaestus created on the shining metal, his
hands had put instead an artificial wilderness and a sky like lead (Lines 5 8). A shift occurs when Hep
places the reality of what the Greeks are facing, which is a place that is becoming altered by man. He
also chooses to place what he wants to place on the shield, instead of what Thetis has instructed him
place. Negative diction also occurs when the speaker uses a world like artificial which usually has a
negative connotation that often indicates fakeness, as well as a sky instead of being blue and happy is
dark heavy metal. Peace, a time of quietness once again ruined by threats of a war occurring. Thetis
again looked over his shoulder for ritual

The Great Serpent Bound Analysis
Civilizations develop when the environment of a region can support a large and productive population
(Sayre 8). Even though civilizations do not last forever, there are elements within it that share their
culture with the world making them an everlasting memory and something to strive towards. The
belief system and social structure of a culture is known through the images and written language that
they leave behind (Sayre 11). The Great Serpent Mound is an art piece created by the Hopewell that
skillfully encompasses their culture.
To begin, the Great Serpent Mound reflects the Hopewell s belief system by depicting how they
connected with the spiritual world. How a culture views the spiritual world affects their belief system
because what they chose ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Just as belief system is tied to the spiritual world, social structure is tied to the material world. The
way in which a culture interacts with the material world affects the culture s social structure by
causing changes that stem from involvement with other cultures or civilizations. For example, the
burials showed that the Woodlands area of trade was vast, spanning from the Great Lakes, Gulf Coast,
Florida, and the Appalachian Mountains (Sayre 25). Whenever cultures become involved in trade,
their original culture is altered from what it originally was because it has been influenced by new ideas
and materialistic objects. The Hopewell culture [was] in southern Ohio causing it to venture away
from the rest of the Woodlands peoples culture. Even though they were the same civilization, there
culture was much less the same (Sayre 25). The Great Serpent Mound, built by the Hopewell culture,
indirectly passed down values to the Mississippian culture on how to design and structure

The Renaissance is a significant period of the West in the history. Literature, painting, architecture and
others have changed a lot during this period. As a master, The Last Supper has become the one of
Leonardo da Vinci s most famous masterpieces. This article will briefly discuss the Last Supper, about
its basic details and characteristics.
The Last Supper is a popular subject of painting in history; however, the most famous version is
painted by Leonardo da Vinci. We all know that Leonardo da Vinci is one of the key artists of the
Renaissance; his works lead the Renaissance into climax. Renaissance refers to the rebirth, meaning
that the artistic and literary to be renaissance under the influence of the classical norm. Actually, due
to the development of capitalism, people focus on real life more and more, so humanism which based
on the religion background has become so popular during that time. The Last Supper is the best proof.
In addition, as the fresco, The Last Supper is unfortunate, Leonardo da Vinci put the oil and tempera
together and it peeled soon, we can only recover it by computer now. ... Show more content on

everything in painting: table, windows, doors and walls, and it seems natural to attract the audience s
attention to Christ s body firstly. It s the consciousness of the humanistic; more attention was put on

Examples Of Heroes In The Real World
A hero can be anywhere and anyone, they could be your neighbor or best friend. There are many
heroes in the world some are kind and sweet. When you think about a hero you think about superman
or spider man but that s not a hero that can help you with your struggles. The hero that is taking place

inspires others to do the right thing, and they don t depend on others to do everything for them. Hero s

Elizabeth Barrett-Browning and Virginia Woolf Essay
Elizabeth Barrett Browning and Virginia Woolf
I chose to compare and contrast two women authors from different literary time periods. Elizabeth
Barrett Browning (1806 1861) as a representative of the Victorian age (1832 1901) and Virginia Woolf
(1882 1941) as the spokeswoman for the Modernist (1914 1939) mindset. Being women in historical
time periods that did not embrace the talents and gifts of women; they share many of the same issues
and themes throughout their works however, it is the age in which they wrote that shaped their
expressions of these themes. Although they lived only decades apart their worlds were remarkably
different their voices were muted or amplified according to the beat of society s drum. ... Show more

Her observations are for the purpose of analysis and are viewed as one might view an object through a

The Victorian form of inquiry coexisted with a desire toward repairing the weakening foundations of
faith. I write so/of the only truth tellers now left to God,/The only speakers of essential truth/Opposed

point entirely. She is arguing, in a sense, for sense and for the need to remain accountable to
something outside ourselves.
The Modernist skepticism is vivid in Woolf s portrayal of a woman, Isabella, who has not conformed
to society s accepted norms and would seem to be at first glance all the better for it. But, upon closer
inspection it is with a sigh of resignation that Virginia recognizes the illusion that her fanciful
exploration created for her. Isabella (possibly representative of Virginia herself or of womanhood in
general) is elevated and

World War I was often referred to as The Great War . It began in 1914 and ended in 1918. America

Golden State Warriors Research Paper
Golden State Warriors When you think of the current NBA, chances are you may have thought of the
Golden State Warriors. The Warriors have been a dominant team in the last couple of years. It is a
great franchise. They have a great history as a team, great players, and very great success. The
Warriors have a very great and long history. The team was founded in 1946 (Same year NBA was
founded) by Peter A. Tyrell and Steven Kim. They were originally known as the Philidelphia Warriors.
They played in both the NBL and BAA, before merging with the NBA. The warriors still dominated in
the other leagues, winning 2 titles in 47 and 56 . When the team merged into the NBA, they moved to
California, (First in San Fransisco, then Oakland.) and changed their name to the Golden State
Warriors. Since then the team has won 3 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

the NBA finals 6 times. The team has 9 conference finals, 7 division championships, and 21 playoff
appearances. There best season occurred in 2015 16 going 73 9, and there worst being in 2000 01,
going 17 65. In the 06 07 season, the Warriors team none as We Believe made a huge mark in history,
coming in as the 8th seed in the playoffs, they beat the 1st seeded Mavericks in the first round. This
was a huge accomplishment, seeing that the warriors hadn t made the playoffs in a very long time.
They ended up losing in the second round to the Jazz, but they we re still noticed as a team that
believed. Along with team success, they also have had individual success. GSW has 17 Hall of
Famers. They have won coach of the year 3 times, Most Improved 2 times, R.O.Y 4 times, D.P.O.Y
once, and MVP 2 times. (Both were Stephen Curry, 2 years in a row.) When winning the finals, their
MVP s were Rick Barry in 75 , Andre Igoudala in 15 , and Kevin Durant in 17 . But to have great

A Example Of A One Week Fitness Plan
One Week Fitness Plan
I am going to separate each day into each body section because I know that if you work on one part of
the body, it actually tears your muscle, which grows stronger once replenished. So working on a body
part for two days in a row will have defective results. But I might do, for example, a leg workout for
day 1, I would do it again for day 4.
Day 1: Leg Workout:
Stretching (Both Before and After): First take your left leg and bring it up to bottom and balance on
your leg for 10 seconds. Also, do it to your left leg. Next, do toe touches, standing and on the ground
for about 5 minutes. After that, do some lunges for 3 to 5 minutes. If you need, you can have ten
second breaks. Finish off with by trying to spread your ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If you cannot complete 10 regular pushups, then you can do modified pushups, which is from your
knees. Next, get a dumbbell (anything that is suitable for you) and do 10 lifts. Do it for both arms.
After that, take the weights and stretch your arms until they re straight in front of you, and hold for as
long as you can. Finish off with arm swings 20 times, back and forward.
Nutrition → What to eat → Don t eat any junk food (e.g. chips, soft drinks... ), try to only eat foods
with proteins (so you can build up muscles better for the workout, and if you want, good fats (e.g.
avocado). Have many fruits and vegetables, and other foods with vitamins and minerals added to your
diet.
Day 3: Ab Workout:
Stretching (Both Before and After): First, you have to do the cobra pose for 2 minutes. This means
you lay on your stomach and try to lift your head and stomach as high as you can. After that, try
touching your toes, standing and sitting for about 20 seconds. Also, do 20 sit ups to bring your heart
rate up and stretch your abs and core. Finish off with some bridges. Start by laying on the ground and
lift your hips, allowing your back to be off the ground. Repeat this by doing it 20 times.
Workout: Start off by doing 2 sets of raised leg circles; each set must be about 10 times. I recommend
2 sets because abs can start to hurt easily so you can take your time. Next, do as much as sit ups as you
can until you get tired, then you can take a twenty second break. After

COUNTRIES FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT.
A developing country, also called a less developed country (LDC), is a nation with a low living

countries. Meanwhile, an industrial country also known as developed country or more developed
country (MDC), is a sovereign state that has a highly developed economy and advanced technological
infrastructure relative to other less developed nations. Most commonly the criteria for evaluating the
degree of economic development are gross domestic product (GDP), the per capita income, level of

Yet current WTO rules on subsidies, foreign investment, and patents preclude some of the policy
choices made, for example, by South Korea and Taiwan in the past, when rules under the WTO s
predecessor, the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, were more permissive. What is more, new
WTO members typically confront demands to conform their trade and industrial policies to standards
that go well beyond existing WTO agreements. The new Basle II international banking standards,
better tted to banks in industrialized nations, risk making it more difficult for banks in developing
countries to compete.
There are signs of change in the rich world s attitude. Some donors, notably the United Kingdom and
the United States, the latter with its Millennium Challenge Account, are moving away from attaching
explicit, heavy conditions to their grants and loans and are instead screening applicants early to ensure
that assistance will be reasonably well spent. The World Bank and other organizations are designing
programs with countries in which resources are disbursed not in exchange for policy reform but on the
basis of pre agreed benchmarks of progress be it reduced inflation, more children finishing primary
school, or more completed external audits of government accounts. These changes deserve to be
reinforced.
Developed nations can also take positive steps to directly benet developing countries specically, by

  • 2. The Journey Of A Hero In Mystic Hero s Journey According to Webster s dictionary, a definition of a hero is a mythological or legendary figure often of divine descent ( Hero ). The thing with heroes is that they are not all mythological or legendary figures; in fact, heroes can be almost anyone that holds our admiration towards them for whatever reason. Any person can be deemed a hero from the random person seen walking across the street to one of your relatives, so eloquently it is their journey that they go through that makes them become the hero. In Joseph Campbell s book, Hero with a Thousand Faces, to be a hero you have to follow along with the steps that Joseph Campbell created called Mystic Hero s Journey. From the start of the first stage where the Call to Adventure begins it all to the end where the final step the Freedom to Live ends the journey. It is taking notice how a person, such the case for my father, life choices and actions convert them from being seen as an ordinary person to a genuine hero. For Adolfo Huitron, my father, it is from the young age of 19 that he received his Call to Adventure. Straker describes in his article that the call to adventure is where the hero starts off in a mundane situation of normality from which some information is received that acts as a clarion call (Straker). He is inferencing that the hero starts off with a normal dull background and it is when something out of the norm occurs or something life changing happens that the hero in question gets his call to adventure, to begin his journey. At the age of 19, Adolfo s call to adventure was when he received the news that he was going to be a father. This news made him want to acquire a better future and life for his life. Living in Mexico during his time was tough there wasn t much work in the area where he lived and education was poor as well. With the future of his daughter in mind, he decided that he wanted to move his pregnant wife and himself to the United States. He knew that in the United States, there were more job opportunities that would help him provide better things for his family that would be increasing soon enough. He also knew that the U.S valued the education of children more than in his own town. During the interview that he stated, I ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Bullying In Erin Murphy s White Lies One of my most loathed singers, Taylor Swift, once stated, If they don t like you for being yourself, be yourself even more. However, in Erin Murphy s White Lies , this is not the case for young Connie, who was a quiet albino girl, new to Arpi s school. Regardless of her desperate efforts to be accepted by her classmates, they were not warming up to her. Taking action, her mother helped Connie figure out a way to make her classmates talk to her and like her. I agree with her mother s decision to help her daughter, even if it wasn t the truth. Bullying is becoming an increasingly important problem for parents, school administrators and teachers on a vast scale. I cannot imagine how my parents felt when they discovered I was being ... That loud, brain rattling bell that signaled the end of the class was my hero, my white knight. I could have my clothes changed, hair combed to perfection and books packed away by the time it rang. No matter how fast I would run out of the locker room, it was never fast enough. This cycle continued for a few weeks or so and only really got to me when they started calling me names. My favorite of the bunch was scoreboard . There was one unfortunate practice where I tried to pass the ball and somehow managed to shoot it up and away from the court into the... you guessed it, scoreboard. Already mortified, it didn t help when I was changing clothes that my ears rang with the sound of their chanting, Scoreboard. Scoreboard. Scoreboard. Unable to help myself I ran into one of the bathroom stalls my cheeks stained with tears and my eyes flowing like a mountain stream. It did not end there. Before school the next day, my father dropped me off at school early for tutorials. My parents have been divorced for almost 13 years which sparked confusion in me when my mother texted me saying she was picking me up and for me not to go to first period, which was volleyball. It was not until we arrived at the Cracker Barrel almost 20 minutes away that my mother asked me. Are you okay? What s been going on in first period? , she questioned ... • 5. My Paper On Is Educational Psychology The topic pertinent to psychology that i chose to do my paper on is educational psychology. Educational psychology is the study of how humans learn and retain knowledge, primarily in educational settings like classrooms. This branch not only involves just the learning process of early childhood and adolescence but it also involves the social, emotional, and cognitive learning processes that are involved in humans throughout their entire lifespan. Educational psychology combines numerous amounts of other branches of psychology, including: developmental psychology, behavioral psychology, and cognitive psychology. Educational psychology is an approximately new subfield that has had a huge amount of growth in recent years. The four major perspectives in educational psychology are: Behavioral perspective, developmental perspective, cognitive perspective, and the constructivist approach. The behavioral perspective proposes that all behaviors are learned through conditioning. An example of this would be a teacher handing out tickets for participating in class or good behavior that can later be exchanged for candy or toys. The developmental perspective suggest how children obtain new skills and knowledge as they develop. An example of this is Jean Piaget s distinguished stages of cognitive development. The cognitive perspective has become much more acclaimed in recent decades, mostly because it suggest how things such as memories, emotions, motivations, and beliefs influence ... Biologically speaking, there are differences in levels of violence in men and women (Wright, Tibbett, Daigle, 2008). With eighty five percent of arrestees being male, it s easy to see that males commit many more violent crimes than females. These differences are credited to brain configuration, neurotransmitters, the limbic system, and hormones. There are different intellectual styles between males and females. These differences can be traced to some particular structural differences between male and female brains that originate in early development. A Positron Emission Tomography study was conducted in order to compare the differing levels of activity of the amygdala in females and males. The study showed that males typically have higher levels of activity. The amygdala regulates emotions and is located in the lower part of the limbic system (Beaver, 2009). The cingulate gyrus is the part of the limbic system that is responsible for keeping emotions and aggression under control (Wright et al., 2008). Research on the differences in this area between males and females concluded that females are better retaining emotions internally and are better at displaying emotional behavior than males. Females have higher levels of serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that helps regulate impulses and control behavior. Low levels of serotonin are associated with antisocial behavior (Beaver, 2009). Likewise, females also usually have a higher level of amino butyric than males. This is a neurotransmitter that regulates violence and aggression (Wright et al., 2009). The different levels of certain neurotransmitters found in males and females provide a great deal of explanation for the different levels of aggression, violence and criminal behavior found between the sexes. There are many differences in the level of hormones found in males and females. Testosterone is a male hormone that is responsible for generating ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It is money that enable people to live a life they want to live and fulfill the value of life, such as happiness, health , love, and making difference. On the other hand, values determine every life decision that people makes (Determine the true purpose of money in your life, 2016). Value is the monetary worth of something, which has great influence on indivudual s behavior and attitude. When a purchase decision is made, it involves a value calculation. He proposed the theory that a country should specialize in manufacturing goods that it can make with the fewest resources, therefore giving it an advantage in the production of that good. This allows for global out to be maximized, thereby with free trade each country would end up with a greater number of goods than before. His notion was that wealth of nation is determined by its labor and not by the amount of gold. In addition, he stated that when two nations participate in free trade there is an increase in total wealth as both nations see a profit in exchange. Widely known as the father of modern economics , Adam Smith contributed a significant amount of knowledge regarding the political economy. It emphasized that markets operate best without the interference of the government. Classical economists observed that markets regulate themselves when free of coercion. He referred to the markets self regulating nature, when buyers are able to choose between various suppliers and companies who do not successfully compete are allowed to fail, as a metaphorical invisible hand , which moves markets towards natural equilibrium. Ancient Israelites carried many traditions molded by the conditions in which they found themselves. Monotheism was a very different ideology at this time in world history and lead to cultural clashes between the Israelites and other regional powers. Their soteriology and religious practices eventually became the foundations on which modern Christianity stands. However, time causes great change in many things and Christianity is no exception. With these theological and fundamental changes arose a number of paradoxes. • 37. Language Used In Oleanna The quote, The less seen, the more heard. The eye is the enemy of the ear in real drama by Thornton Wilder, means that what we see distracts us from the real meaning and drama of the play. In the play, Oleanna, by David Mamet, the visual movement seems important, a piece of the play that it cannot be without, however it is actually inconsequential. The words, what is heard, carries the action, meaning, and drama of Oleanna. The words of this play is convoluted and often mean nothing at all, however it is these qualities that make the words important. The professor often speaks words that sound interesting but have no meaning and is called out by Carol. He uses language that are flowery, used to create the idea that he is an intellectual. These words, while having no straight meaning, creates the overall implication that language is meaningless. This is increased by Carol s frustration at not being able to understand his lectures. ... Without a visual scene to this dialogue, the intensity of the aggressive emotions would actually be emphasized. In this play, John s overpowering speech and cutting off Carol when she tries to speak shows that he has control over the situation, that he is in the dominant role. This is later switched when Carol learns the power of language that she has been able to make everything that he says or does becomes whatever she defines it to be. Their success was based on two contrasting strategies #8211; diversification of worldwide portfolio and local responsiveness for Philips, and high centralization and mass production for Matsushita. Royal Philips Electronics of the Netherlands began as a small light bulb factory in Holland, and by the turn of the century, was one of the largest producers in Europe. By then only Japanese companies had the integrated technical and functional capabilities required to commercialize products of new technologies. • 40. Shield Of Achilles Hope often contrasts with reality, especially within Greek mythology or similar replications. For instance, The Shield of Achilles is written by W.H. Auden in the form of a ekphrasis and details the content on the Shield of Achilles; The Shield of Achilles juxtaposes the idea of hope portrayed by Thetis versus reality shown through Hephaestus (further referenced as Hep). The speaker in The Shield of Achilles is blunt in showing Thetis imagery of tranquility, peace and liveliness in comparison to Hep´s imagery of actuality, war and idleness. Tranquility often becomes contradicted by what is happening in actuality. As shown in the first four lines of the poem, the speaker´s attitude is blunt; which is seen when She looked over his shoulder for vines and olive trees, marble well governed cities and ships upon untamed seas (Lines 1 4). These lines are straight to the point in showing that Thetis looked over Hep s shoulder and was looking for three things. Thetis, Greek mother of Achilles instructed Hep´s, Greek god of blacksmiths to make her son a shield with certain items on it. Thetis wanted things that showed tranquility and items that represented the reverenced aspect of Greek culture. These items show imagery of Greece being calm and undisturbed, another things that can be inferred is Thetis, being a mother and only wanting the best things for Achilles including his safety in a calm city. These items are juxtaposed with actuality when Hephaestus has done the complete opposite of what Thetis has instructed. Hephaestus created on the shining metal, his hands had put instead an artificial wilderness and a sky like lead (Lines 5 8). A shift occurs when Hep places the reality of what the Greeks are facing, which is a place that is becoming altered by man. He also chooses to place what he wants to place on the shield, instead of what Thetis has instructed him place. Negative diction also occurs when the speaker uses a world like artificial which usually has a negative connotation that often indicates fakeness, as well as a sky instead of being blue and happy is dark heavy metal. Peace, a time of quietness once again ruined by threats of a war occurring. Thetis again looked over his shoulder for ritual ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
