Montgomery College Student Parking Problem
From my perspective as a Montgomery College student, the current parking situation has become a
problem that needs to be addressed. On the west campus there is only one parking garage and there are
not enough spaces for all of the students to park. Some students spend a lot of time circling around
looking for a parking space. There is street parking, but students feel that they should not have to pay
for parking. In order to get a parking spot, I have to arrive at around 8:00 AM even if my class isn t
even until late morning.
When I get to the parking garage at around 11:00 AM most of the spaces are filled, and the change
over of students has yet to occur. Students drive all the way to the top of the garage just to find that

In the city many places are narrow and you have to build up. So to fit more cars into a small space
there are lifts. One kind of lift is called the Robotic Parking System. It enables parking from several
hundred cars to several thousand in half the amount of space. A person would drive their car into the
parking terminal, and sensors would ensure that the car was placed correctly. The driver would exit the
vehicle, lock the doors and take a parking card from the kiosk. A computer system then lifts the car
and places it on a shelving system. When one is ready to leave they place their parking card into a
kiosk and the system locates their car and brings it down. The screen then displays where the driver
can pick up their car. This also insures safe parking since it is impossible for someone to break and
steal your car. An additional option that is probably the least expensive would be for students to park
in parking garages in downtown Silver Spring. Shuttles buses could be provided by the College to
pick up students from the garage and at the end of the day the shuttle could bring the students back to
their cars. No solution goes without having its issues, whether it is structural, financial or aesthetic.
Some of the solutions to expand the parking are more reasonable, while some will cost a pretty penny.
Whichever proposal the college decides to go with will benefit the

Fall 2016
Introduction
My field placement will be at Child protective services in El Paso TX. My Target population for my
field placement will be Children who have been maltreated, neglected and abused. Child abuse
prevention has grown exponentially in El Paso over the past 31 years. In El Paso alone the Texas
Department of Family and Protective Services investigated 4,979 reports of alleged child abuse in
2014 in El Paso County. They confirmed that 1,339 children were indeed victims of abuse; 379
confirmed cases of Physical abuse, 166 confirmed cases of sexual abuse, 56 cases of emotional abuse
and 70 cases of medical neglect (Lee Beulah Moor,2016) A troubling trend has emerged regarding the
prevention of child maltreatment in the state of Texas. A tragic loophole contributing to continued
abuse and in many cases child fatalities, continues to be exploited to the detriment of one of our most
vulnerable populations. From 2009 to 2014, there were 800 child fatalities reported as abuse and
neglect deaths by Child Protective Services in all of Texas (Ball, 2015). An analysis of these cases by
an independent research group found gross errors by CPS and other agencies during ongoing abuse
cases enabled the abuse or neglect to continue, inevitably leading to death. Although the percentage of
child fatalities is just a tiny fraction of the exorbitant

French And Indian War Turning Point Essay
The French and Indian War Turning Point
During the French and Indian War, many things changed like the forced quartering of soldiers, the end
of salutary neglect, and self government, while the colonies not wanting to unite, the feeling of not
being represented in parliament from the colonists, and the neglect of a redress of the colonists
grievances from the king stayed the same. In the colonies, before the French and Indian war, life was
good. Things were simple in Britain s relationship with the colonies, they traded with each other and
Britain gave salutary neglect to the colonists trading with people they were not supposed to trade with.
Everybody was happy and taxes were limited, and internal taxing was not something Britain did.

The colonists were mad at the king because he forced them to fight in a war they did not want part it.
During the war, which we had already been fighting, the king had impressed us into the British army
and we were forced to leave behind our families and fight in the war. And when the war was finished,
we were forced to pay for the war expenses through internal taxes. The king had not internally taxed
us in over a century, so the taxes worsened the crack. In a time of peace, there were standing soldiers
kept in the colonies, which lead to the Boston massacre. All these were made okay because of the acts
in which Parliament passed. The quartering act forced us to provide housing and supplies to soldiers
who began taking away the jobs in the colonies. The Stamp Act forced us to have to pay taxes on
everything paper, including cards and dice. The tea act put excessive taxes on tea. All of these taxes
were imposed soon after the war, which made the colonists upset. But what upset them even more was
that they did not have anybody from the colonies elected into Parliament, making them feel like they
were not represented the way they should be. The intolerable acts were also implemented, which
threatened their self government, so they fought back against Britain by creating the Continental
Congress. After a few meetings of the Continental Congress, the colonies then decided to unite and
declare independence from

In The Waiting Room Elizabeth Bishop
The poem, In the Waiting Room shown within Elizabeth Bishop s book The Complete Poems 1927
1979 is an engaging and descriptive poem about a child s self coming into adulthood. Elizabeth, the
child, narrates the story from her point of view, reading the National Geographic while waiting for
Aunt Consuelo to be finished with her appointment. The National Geographic however, is a gateway
which portrays Elizabeth s adult side, showing her as a child what is to come as she grows older. Aunt
Consuelo and those within the waiting room during the time when Elizabeth looks around adds on to
this point, making her ask more questions about her own name, as well as her becoming like her Aunt.
Which started with her picking up and flipping through, the yellow margins of the National
Geographic.
The idea behind the book National Geographic is to transport the reader into a location that they have
not been too. For this poem however, it transports Elizabeth to her being an adult. Showing her what is
to come with adulthood, Babies with pointed heads wound round and round with string; black, naked
women with necks wound round and round with wire like the necks of light bulbs. Their breasts were
horrifying (26 31) Elizabeth is horrified with what she sees as clearly stated, she does not wish to
become an adult. To be given these breasts, or even the experience of a child. But since she was too
scared to stop she kept reading till she heard her Aunt.

Russian Revolution Dbq
Research Question: Was the Russian Revolution a Successful Revolution?
The Russian Revolution of 1917 was unsuccessful because of how it did not accomplish the initial
goal of establishing communism, internal social and economic issues within Russia, detrimental
effects of rapid industrialisation and became the catalyst of a civil war. The defeat in war against
Japan, in 1905, led to increased opposition to the Tsar, who was viewed as incompetent. The war was
also important in intensifying and worsening longer term social and economic problems, as it caused
food shortages, high prices and unemployment the factors which motivated many to take part in the
march on the Winter palace that resulted in Bloody Sunday (Document A). The Tsar was ... Show

Due to Russia s sheer amount of citizens in the country, it resulted in a overcrowded society, poor
housing along with poor living and working conditions (created by economic problems in Russia) led
to social tension in cities. In terms of land and agriculture, the Russians had methods that were
inefficient and backwards as they still used wooden ploughs and very few animals and tools. With not
enough land to go around (due to the controlling of private property), vast expansion of peasant
population in the later half of the 19th century led to overcrowding and competition for land. The
diverse people of Russia desperately needed a social reform. With peace established with Germany,
the of lack of a compete control over the country then led to the civil war immediately after the
Bolsheviks assumed power. The Reds (communists) and the Whites (anti communists, Capitalists,
western forces) fought a series of battles that resulted in countless deaths. The White forces received
support from the Western Allies during the internal war. The United States, England and Canada had
contingents of men inside of Russia initially to guard supplies they had sent during the war, but they
were in a position to fight if their governments thought necessary. The Red Army was able to defeat
the much larger White armies over the course of the three year

While these changes did in fact increase sales volume and profits, it damaged the reputation of
Steinway and Sons. Critics and buyers began to challenge the quality of Steinway and Sons pianos.
Over the next 10 years, Henry Steinway is replaced by several CEO s, only to worsen the calls from
critics challenging the quality of Steinway and Sons pianos. In November of 1984, CBS announced
the sale of Steinway and Sons for $50 million to John and Robert Birmingham (Gourville). Although
the Birmingham brothers had no experience in the musical business, they set out to re establish
Steinway and Sons as the maker of the highest quality pianos in the world. CEO Bruce Stevens set out
to assure everyone, customers, employees, and dealers, that the new owners were highly committed to
quality. The company now became refocused and returned to what had made them so successful.
Aside from the newfound focus on quality, the Birmingham brothers expanded Steinway and Sons
product line. It now included the Boston Piano line introduced in 1992, the Steinway Limited Edition
pianos introduced 1993, and the Crown Jewel Collection of Steinway pianos introduced in 1994.
Despite these positive changes by Stevens and his team, the running of Steinway and Sons was once
again constrained by limited financial resources. The company was again sold on April 18, 1995 to
Dana Messina and Kyle Kirkland for $100 million (Gourville). Messina and Kirkland had already

Four Noble Truths and The Eightfold Path
Buddhism was different from other religions because it taught that liberation can be obtained from
suffering. This was based on our own lives and efforts. Stated in the book, Living Religions , The
Buddha taught that by understanding how we create suffering for ourselves we can become free
(Fisher 137). This was based on one s own involvement and effort to want happiness. This religion has
been spread throughout Asia and India because of these teachings, this religion became more popular
throughout the countries. For some people this religion was a way of life. After these teachings were
spread throughout the countries, it had developed and picked up other traditions. Buddhism is known
as a non theistic religion, which the traditions are built from other religions. Shakyamuni Buddha was
the founder of Buddhism, he was not a God. Buddha was an historical figure, the stories that have
been told have been passed on over time and not documented. His teachings were not written down
and documented until many years later after his death. The only way these were remembered and can
be trusted is because they were chanted by monks.
The Buddha had came up with Four Noble Truths to be his foundation to his teachings on obtaining
liberation and being free. The first Noble Truth was Life inevitably involves suffering, dissatisfaction,
and distress . This is about how

Compare And Contrast The Landlady And Lamb To The Slaughter
In stories, The Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe, The Landlady and Lamb to the Slaughter both by
Roald Dahl, ideas of guilt and sanity prevail. In these short stories, the lack of guilt and insanity create
a mental state which not only allows them to commit their crimes but also to do so without remorse.
Poe uses close description and large amounts of figurative language to bring through the ideas of trust,
insanity, lack of guilt and perfect crimes . In contrast, Roald Dahl uses other figurative language
techniques such as juxtaposition and foreshadowing.
In all three horror stories Roald Dahl and Poe explore the lack of guilt. There are direct references to

Biblical Words Related On Counseling
Biblical Words Related to Counseling This portion of the presented literature examines three Biblical
words related to counseling. The words being examined in this portion consist of counsel, wisdom,
and help. These words will be examined using Blue Letter Bible (2012), Strong s Concordance, and
Vine s Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words. The theme associated with Biblical words
related to counseling unified in concept. This concept is the liberation, or victory, from troubles and
sin to becoming wise through counsel from God, or spiritually mature counselees.
Counsel
According to BlueLetterBible.org, the word counsel appears 74 times in the New American Standard
Bible (Blue Letter Bible, 2012). However, due to several translations, the word counsel can be found
in the Bible over 200 times (Blue Letter Bible, 2012). In the other fourteen versions of the Bible listed
on BlueLetterBible.org, the primary word counsel can be seen from twenty four times to one hundred
and thirty nine times (Blue Letter Bible, 2012). The New American Standard Bible holds seventeen
Hebraic version of the word counsel (Blue Letter Bible, 2012). Strong s Number matches the most
frequent Hebraic translation of counsel, ya`ats, eighty eight times in seventy four verses in the Hebrew

Light and Dark in Heart of Darkness
Joseph Conrad s repeated use of darkness in his novel Heart of Darkness has been widely interpreted.
Readers have arrived at many different conclusions about the use of darkness throughout the novel.
The critics themselves cannot agree what the darkness means.
The critics draw different conclusions about the use of darkness. For some critics, the use of darkness
is seen as an intentional literary device. For example, Gary Adelman and Michael Levenson discuss
the use of darkness and comment upon Conrad s purpose. Gary Adelman suggests that Conrad used
darkness as a means to tie together various elements of the novel. Adelman says, the most elaborate of
Conrad s devices for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When Marlow finally meets Kurtz, he is faced with a shocking revelation (87) writes Adelman; that
the darkness . . . is not African, but European (87).
While Adelman talks about darkness and how it links many elements of the novel together, Michael
Levenson concludes that Conrad chose to use darkness throughout the novel because of the sense it
conveyed to the reader. Levenson sees darkness as the perfect moral term (404), conjuring up a certain
impression that is conveyed from beginning to end of the story. As the story unfolds, the reader is
meant to associate darkness with facts and values. Levenson reasons that the transitions (404) from
one scene to another are almost seamless (404) as a result of the way in which Conrad uses words like
darkness and gloom and what those words come to mean to the reader. To illustrate his point, he talks
about the transitions from the literal gloom of the African jungle to Kurtz s gloomy horror . . . from the
black bank of clouds above the Thames to the heart of darkness (404). They appear seamless, says
Levenson because this darkness is a metaphor which so reliably links facts and values (405). He then
points out that because of its associations and the frequency with which it is used, the word darkness
scarcely seems a figure of speech at all (405). According to Levenson, this works to Conrad s
advantage. He suggests that, as long as there is a strong association in the reader s mind between
darkness

The National Hockey League Of Sun Belt Cities
Introduction
On August 8th, 1988 Wayne Gretzky gave a tearful farewell to Edmonton after being traded to the Los
Angeles Kings. The Gretzky trade had effects beyond the two teams. The landscape of the National
Hockey League changed in the years following the Gretzky trade. Ten years after the trade Anaheim,
Dallas, Phoenix, Miami, San Jose, and Tampa were awarded NHL franchises. The National Hockey
League s southern expansion was partially driven by the attendance increase the Los Angeles Kings
experienced after the Gretzky trade. The goal of this essay is to determine what drives attendance in
Sun Belt cities. Our study should interest sports economists in academia and National Hockey league
executives who make decisions on the league s product placement. Team attendance is the dependent
variable in the model and eleven independent variables were run in two different regressions. The first
regression run was a Least Squares regression and the second was a time series regression. The time
series regression was necessary to run since the results of the Least Squares regression may have been
biased. The time series regression reveled two important conclusions. First, winning a championship
had a positive and statistically significant impact on attendance in southern cities. Second, the time
series regression illustrated that each city has special characteristics driving attendance that we cannot
measure. This essay I will review other research papers on attendance at sporting

War Of The Worlds Chapter 1 Summary
War of the Worlds Chapter One Despite its location, Dot s Donut Shop was about to get famous. I
mean, being the crash site for the second wave of aliens on earth can earn quite the reputation, and
what are the odds I would be working there that very day? Well, to understand my position entirely,
we need to go back to the beginning. In 1939, the U.S. declared itself a neutral country in the
European conflict that would come to be known as World War II. In 1941, Franklin Roosevelt became
the first and only president elected for three terms. Later that year, Japan attacked the U.S. at Pearl
Harbor. These events spiraled into the earth changing event that was the bombing of Hiroshima and
Nagasaki. Many scientists believe this to be the event that caused the Invasion, as it sent some sort of
radioactive wave throughout the galaxy. Although people tend to may disagree with each other, there
was no doubt that it was a devastating blow to the entire world. The Roswell crash in 1947 was the
first contact we had with any species not from Earth. Although the creature didn t survive long enough
to greet us, it seems it was alive long enough to send a distress signal, calling the rest of its friends. We
scavenged what we could from the wreckage, using it to create new technologies that advanced our
world by a couple hundred years. What would have taken us 100 ... Show more content on

Nurse Karen advises patients with respiratory diseases to stay indoors to avoid any respiratory irritants
the fire is causing. Many of the public health care teams in Neighborhood were playing catch up after
the fire had been raging for days. The hospital in Neighborhood failed to call a code yellow. Initiating
a code yellow would have alerted the emergency response team to action to help accommodate the
influx of patients the health care facilities were facing. Because of the failure to call the code yellow,
the staff is overworked and is causing added stress on the hospital staff on the floor, the emergency
room, and throughout the hospital. If a state of emergency were called, more staff as well as room for
patients would have been made available, thus decreasing stress the staff is feeling. Because the forest
fire was raging out of control close to the city, the science fair should have either been canceled or
rescheduled until the fire was put out and the threat gone. Public service announcements should have
been broadcast alerting residents of the fire and the health hazards they could face. Residents should
have been warned to stay indoors and to only go outside if necessary. Luckily, most residents stayed
indoors, or else there would have been an even larger number of patients in the emergency room.

The Effects Of Sporting Events On Soccer 2010
The stadium was shaking with the thunderous cheers of fans supporting their countries. The
excitement grew as coaches gave last minute instructions to their players. The kick off of the 1966
World Cup, held in England, in which Germany versed England, was moments away. The whistle
blew and the match was on. The first ninety minutes of the match were an exciting battle and the game
ended in a 0 0 score; on to overtime! According to an article written Zoe Doherty During the final,
with eleven minutes gone in extra time, Alan Ball crossed to George Hurst whose subsequent shot
cannoned off the underside of the goal and down either just on or over the goal line. The goal was
controversially allowed, and its validity is still questioned to this day. (Goal line technology in soccer
2010) Controversy has always played a major role in the officiating of sporting events since the
official s decisions are based upon their judgments and observations. Maybe in 1966 that had to be the

How Did Valley Forge Affect The American Revolution
Valley Forge directly affected the American Revolution because it made the Continental Army
stronger and led them to win the Revolutionary War. Valley Forge was where the Continental Army

The Success of the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917 Essay
The Success of the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917 Part 1 Karl Marks was not Russian and he died 34
years before the Russian revolution, he was a German who spent most his life in England. He worked
as a journalist but wrote books on history, religion, economics, society, and philosophy. Marx hated
the system of capitalism because he thought that it was capitalism that had produced the problems of
industry, poor living conditions and the social gap of the rich and poor. He thought that the system
destroyed people and made them greedy and that people only wanted something if it was worth
money. Karl Marx realised that there was not enough money to make everyone rich but he did thin k

Japan During Ww2 Essay
Japan was an isolationist before 1852 with very little contact to countries in the western areas.
Although later Japan would open its Shamoda ports to trade with the Dutch. Part of this was because
the United States threatened Japan to open the ports for trade. The US also made Japan sighn unequal
treaties to make Japan do things. The Japanese were influenced by the US and did the same thing to
Korea. Although the Japanese only had contact to the outside for some years they had grown a lot. The

the many feudal states of the Chinese empire, persuading rulers to adopt his social reforms. They did
not offer a point by point program, but stressed instead the Way, or One Thread, Jen, which is

strive for perfect virtue, righteousness (called Yi) and improvement of character. They taught the
importance of harmony in the family, order in the state and peace in the empire, which they saw as
inherently interdependent. Teachings emphasize a code of conduct, self cultivation and propriety and
thus the attainment of social and national order. Stress is more on human duty and the ideal of the

DNA Chip Genetic Testing of the Future
Many, if not most diseases, have their roots in our genes. Genes, through the proteins they encode,
determine how efficiently we process foods, how effectively we detoxify poisons, and how vigorously
we respond to infections. In the past 20 years, amazing new techniques have allowed scientists to
learn a great deal about how genes work and how they are linked to disease. This rapid pace of
discovery of genetic factors, responsible for certain diseases, has allowed scientists to genetically test
asymptomatic individuals and predict their risk of certain diseases. In this paper, I am going to discuss
the following areas pertaining to the topic of genetic testing:
The definition and purpose of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The information from genetic tests can help provide people and families with answers to their
questions: why did this happen to my child or why do I have to suffer from this disease? Genetic tests
also provide scientists with information regarding disease pathogenesis. For instance, by studying the
genetic makeup of individuals with breast cancer, scientists can find out what particular mutation in
the DNA, or in several genes, is causing the cancer and use that to screen high risk individuals.
Researchers are also taking advantage of genetic tests to find gene mutations that make bacteria or
viruses resistant to drugs.
Screening Techniques
The immediate challenge in genetic testing is being able to design an effective mutation analysis
method that offers a rapid, accurate, cost effective, and user friendly test for scanning several
susceptibility genes at once. According to the article in Nature Biotechnology, by Charis Eng and Jan
Viig, genetic testing techniques are grouped into two main categories: screening and scanning.
Screening methods involve probing specific genes for previously identified mutations. These methods,
however, are unrealistic for such diseases which are characterized by a large number of disease
causing mutations that can be virtually anywhere in the gene s coding region or regulatory region (3).
For example, in breast cancer, mutations can be found anywhere within the large

Personal Philosophy Reflection Paper
For the past six weeks, I learned how philosophy has influenced the world globally. Learning that
when human beings voice their thoughts with others, they receive a chance to change the world,
especially if one person speaks one on one, one personage can change the world of one body. My
belief in the power of language is strengthened by philosophy. This philosophy course has encouraged
me to share my opinions that are not influenced by other peers or older adults, but to deeply reflect
and research my beliefs and opinions. Looking at how philosophy has shaped the United States, I

From my readings to research from Edutopia to literature courses, I have gained a deeper appreciation
for language. In order to understand what one is speaking, a person needs to spend time listening to
one s language and before responding must reflect and analyze what the other said and how to
respond. If a person wants to love another person they have to listen to their language in order to
speak their language, and the core part of learning another language is by listening. According to Joan
Blaska, author of The Power of Language: Speak and Write Using Person First the language people
use shows one s bias and prejudices. Beliefs and another s performance fall under the influence of
language. Blaska claimed the degree to which children are able to perceive themselves as competent
and worthy, or the opposite, is heavily influenced by the verbalizations used by their teachers...Studies
have found that labeling of students does affect teacher expectations which in turn affects student
progress . People have heavy influence with their words, because of this, our language must be
intentional in a way, that breaks down negative stereotypes and helps one gain empathy as well as
seeing others capabilities. Communicating and reading others comments and inquiring others has

Use of a Token Economy to Increase Running on Command Of a Child with Down syndrome
Brooke R. Mize
Texas Woman s University
Abstract: Children with Down syndrome typically have increased behavioral issues associated with
their disability due to the disabilities phenotype. Introducing a token economy system was proven
effective to increase the amount of running in the subject. The purpose of this study was to determine
the effectiveness of a token economy to increase running on command of a child with Down
syndrome. Having a token economy system in place, allows better stability and repetitiveness in their
daily lives. This essentially helps the student maintain behavioral control and the maladaptive
behaviors are less likely to happen. A five week token economy behavioral program was implemented
and included earning tokens (up to five) per session to exchange for up to five minutes of computer
time. The results drastically changed from pre intervention to post intervention by 80%. Every task
was completed and when asked, although there were still minor reoccurring behaviors that needed
correction. When implementing a token economy it is still important to manage the smaller behaviors
in order to increase the amount of physical activity completed per session.
Introduction: Children with Down syndrome are at an increased risk for behavioral issues due to
factors including characteristics associated with the Down syndrome phenotype, increased incidence

A List Of Meanings A Non Accountant
Discuss and exemplify each of the significant terms used above through a list of meanings a non
accountant would understand. a. The stakeholder engagement and maximization of the value and
wealth of the company. Companies previously tended to focus on shareholders and the company itself,
while things have been changed. Nowadays, it is believed that company s mission is to maximize not
only the wealth of the company, but also the wealth of the stakeholders associated with the company,
Focusing on the powerful stakeholder groups is essential, while without the support from employees,
suppliers, government, it is unlikely that the company can achieve its goal for every stakeholders has

of money, but is to spend the least amount of expenditure on gaining the largest amount of investment.
Nowadays, companies prefer to find ways of maximizing the wealth not only for the organization but
for the society due to an increase in the awareness of caring the environment and the entire society.

Essay On Damaged Ligaments
Damaged ligaments are also referred to as sprains . They are graded on a scale of 1 to 3 in relation to
the severity of injury. Grade one sprains is a mildly damaged ligament that has a slight stretch,
resulting in some pain, discomfort and minimal loss of function, but no abnormal motion. Grade two
sprains are ligaments that stretch to a point where it is loose, causing a partial tear. Pain, swelling,
instability and moderate loss of function are common symptoms. Grade three sprains are complete
ligament tears, causing severe instability, inevitable loss of rand of movement, and extreme pain and
swelling. (Lee, 2015)
Diagnosis
Most ligament injuries can be diagnosed clinically by physical examination, and by comparing the
structures of the injured and non injured knee. This includes examination of swelling, bruising, areas
of tenderness, deformity and effusion (knee joint fluid). The strength and stability of the ACL can be
tested by the Lachman test, anterior drawer test and pivot shift test. However, this can be very difficult

Driving Cars Should Be Allowed On Our Roads
I support that self driving cars should be allowed on our roads. Think about riding in your car without
being paying attention to all the details on the roads. Think about leaving work exhausted and get into
your car, push a button, type your home address and the next thing you know you are in your parking
at your house. Let s think about that last party when you had that extra glass of wine, and you are
alone staring at your car wondering how you will get home. The self driving car is the solution to
those struggles that we all face at any time in our lives. The future of moving people and goods will

Assyrians were recognized as fearsome and ruthless conquerors of the ancient near east. This relief

others may say no such as Collingwood in his differentiation of a true artwork as contrasted with a

they would be in a joint authorship. However, if the intent is for there to be a change to the original,

out that childhood always comes to an end, that is for most people. Barrie uses characters Wendy, a
very mature and mother like figure for an adolescent girl, and Peter, a lively and stereotypical

However, once Wendy does kiss Peter, Peter suggests she follows him to Neverland, because the lost
boys are rather lonely and have no female companion (Barrie 95). The relationship between these two
characters represents the need of men and women in each other s lives. The novel s climax begins
when Wendy, a preteen girl, is taken into Neverland to become a mother to the Lost Boys. Following
gender stereotypes, when Wendy is introduced to Peter, she fixes his lost shadow, by sewing it back
for him. At first, Peter attempts to take credit for Wendy s work, but he realizes that has upset Wendy.
Then Peter responds to her kindness by saying, Wendy, one girl is more use than twenty boys (Barrie
91). This statement by Peter is very surprising to both Wendy and the reader. According to stereotypes,
especially during the early 20th century, women typically need men, but in this situation, Peter admits
the need of women to men, especially young boys. This is due to the fact that none of the Lost Boys
have a family, especially a mother, to look out for them. Peter admits that the Lost Boys are in need of
parental guidance, and Wendy then follows Peter back to Neverland to become the boys mother,
something all children evidently need. It becomes very clear that the Lost Boys need a parental figure,
whether it be Wendy or someone else. Even before Wendy arrives, the evil pirates attempt to set a trap

Football 0.145, cricket 0.075, Chess 0.023, Ping Pong 0.059, Golf 0.083, Basketball 0.024
Applying the agglomerative clustering algorithm in this results set would yield the result as Football .

Solving The Mortgage Products Are Available
To understand what mortgage products are available, it is worthwhile to understand what they are
comprised of; the repayment type and the interest rate. There are also taxes, lender fees and other
costs. Firstly, mortgages vary by how you repay the capital, or money borrowed. There are three types
of repayment plan: repayment, interest only, or a hybrid of the two. In addition to the repayment, there
is interest that the lender charges you to borrow capital. It comes in three types: fixed rate, tracker rate
and variable rate.
Repayment mortgages, also known as capital and interest mortgages, are similar to other loans. The
entire mortgage will decrease over the term of the loan, usually twenty five to thirty years. You will
have paid off the entire loan when the term ends if you keep up with monthly repayments. You pay
monthly, initially reducing mostly the interest on the capital. Then, you pay more towards reducing the
capital borrowed. A repayment mortgage can also help get better rates if you decide to take on another
mortgage. You will be able to show that you own an increasing equity as you pay off of your home, an
appealing quality to lenders.
Looking closer at monthly repayments, you are more likely to get a better deal if you pay a larger
down payment, or deposit. It is suggested that you put down ten percent of the property s value. Your
monthly repayments will be lower than that of a mortgage with a five percent deposit. Financial

Examples Of Screwtape Disbelieving
The two mistakes were, to disbelieve in their existence and to feel an excessive interest in them.
When it stated Not everything that screwtape says should be assumed to be true, even from his own
angle. I have made no attempt to identify any of the human beings .
His motives was to catch readers attention, and to make as if we were reading something factional,
and not a book.
He basically says screwtape doesn t care about the humans and the humans came from God. In John
8:44, says God sent me. You don t understand what I say, because you cannot accept my teachings.

Screwtape claims God s most repellant trait is love.
The past determinates nature, and demons want us to live in the future. God doesn t want us to focus
on the future as much or maybe at all because it doesn t have eternity.
Screwtape says that the vicar has been watering down the church, and fatal defect is the party church.
Screwtape also says what he thinks about Father Spike, and says he is dishonest.

The All I want state of mind is when she wants everything her way and don t csre about anything else.
It serves the agenda because she is pushing people away with her grief and discomfort. That s what

Psychological And Psychological Treatment Of Psychological...
How can we establish the efficacy of psychological (non pharmacological) interventions for
psychological disorder? Discuss with reference to difficulties in measuring the effects of
psychological treatment.
The purpose of this essay is to discuss the different theoretical approaches in the treatment of
psychological disorder with the help of psychological treatments. Furthermore I will be discussing the
difficulties faced in measuring the effects of psychological treatment. Psychotherapy is the term used
for psychological treatments involving social interactions between a trained professional and client
with the goal of behavioural and/or emotional change. The common feature of psychotherapy are;
relationship between client and therapist, explanation / interpretation of problem. The aim of
psychology is to find long term solutions to ease symptoms of psychopathy and also try to ways to
ease the stress caused by these disorders (Davey, 2008)
There are a number of theoretical approaches used to treat psychological disorders such as,
psychodynamic approaches, behavioural therapy, cognitive therapies and many more. Using
psychotherapy, one must first understand the nature and functions of these therapies. Therapist s help
their clients explore aspects of themselves that the clients are unware of (Whitebourne Halgin, 2014).
In psychotherapy the tries to explore the clients emotional attachments, their defence mechanisms,
relationships with others, understanding their past

Comparing Heart Of A Dog And Frankenstein
In both Heart of a Dog and Frankenstein, science is portrayed as dangerous because it leads to
unpredictable consequences, among which are uncontrollable creations who come to control and even
threaten their own creators. Frankenstein s creation s unpredictable violent actions towards human
society and Frankenstein s family and friends and Professor Philip Philippovich s creation, Sharikov s
unpredictable inappropriate actions toward Professor Philip Philippovich and people around him
became uncontrollable. With creation s uncontrollable actions, creators are not able to control but
rather be controlled. Frankenstein s monster s uncontrollable violence targeting Viktor s family and
friends forces Victor to obey creature s command and when not followed, horrible consequences
followed. Sharikov s disobedience towards his creators for oppressing his ... Show more content on

Thus, both creation s uncontrollable actions lead to unpredictable consequences and end up
controlling and threatening their own creators portrays the dangerousness of science.
Science is portrayed dangerous because the science creation becomes uncontrollable by committing
violent actions. Creation of Frankenstein, monster, burns down the cottage originally owned by Felix
because of his first frustration of getting rejected by the family he thought would be friendly because
of his appearance released his uncontrollable anger: I fired the straw, and heath, and bushes, which I
had collected. The wind fanned the fire, and the cottage was quickly enveloped by the flames, which
clung to it (Frankenstein p. 113). Monster, without anyone beside him to support, his uncontrollable
anger pointed towards his creator, Victor Frankenstein, for making his life miserable by making his
appearance horrifying. Then with his

Legalizing Concealed Weapons May Deter Crime Essay
Legalizing Concealed Weapons May Deter Crime
A concealed weapon is a firearm hidden on a person. Thomas Jefferson once wrote that laws that
forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit
crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather
to encourage than to prevent homicides for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence
than an armed man (Lee 147). In Florida, 315,000 permits had been issued to citizens for concealed
weapons by December 31, 1995. Only five have been revoked because the permit holder committed a
violent crime with a gun ( Kopel 129).
Many crimes could have been avoided if you could carry a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

They estimate that each year in the United States there are about 2.2 to 2.5 million defensive gun uses
by civilians (Kleck 112).
Some common arguments are that it is more dangerous to have a gun in the house than to go unarmed.
They say that if you confront an armed bugler in your house you are more likely to be harmed if you
show force than if you don t. Another argument is that gun makers should know that their products
might be used in a crime and should be liable if they are used to hurt someone. Anything can be
wrongfully used. Cars, guns, hammers, ice picks, computers the list just keeps going. Only the person
using the tool is responsible for how it s used.
Excessive gun control has an opposite effect on crime rates. Data from Dr. Gary Kleck, a Florida State
University Criminologist, suggests that total ban on handgun possession increases crime rates.
Kennesaw, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, passed a city gun ordinance in 1982 that requires heads of
households (with certain exceptions) to keep at least one firearm in their homes. During the law s first
years, crimes against people, including homicide, rape, armed robbery, aggravated assault, and
residential burglary, plummeted 74 percent compared to 1981, then dropped another 45 percent in
1983 compared to 1982.
Some of Colorado s handgun laws state that it is unlawful for any person under 18 to possess a
handgun, and it is unlawful to provide or permit a juvenile to posses a handgun.

Analysis Of Jean Luc Godard s Film Le Secne
In this study I will be discussing Mise En Secne in a scene from Jean Luc Godard s film Le Mepris ,
This film is extensively layered with cinematic text, and different social and political subliminal ideas
working together as one part to meld in an artistic film within a simple story line, A French couple
living a contemptuous conjugal life, as the wife Camille begins to abhor her husband Paul, Paul tries
to investigate the reason of their failed marriage . This simple story line, identifies the French new
wave, yet with its richness in subtleties the film is more about what it doesn t speak. To make my
discussion explicable and convincing I must write about the scene in relation to another, and must
correspond shots to another.
The scene begins with a one long take, Paul and Camille enters their barely furnished apartment, yet
the flat is full of books and paintings scattered all around, this doesn t only emphasize that Paul is a
play writer with inclination to arts, because this flat contrasts with Jerry s big fancy house in the
previous scene. Jerry is an American producer, and his house is cramped with fancy furniture,
statuettes, lamp lights and musical instruments but it lacks the elements of culture. We can draw from
this two different meanings. First, the reflection of cinema at that time, Hollywood which was fancy
but lacking culture and meaning, and the French cinema which was poor yet rich with culture and
meaning. The second conclusion is the economic crisis

The Moral Compass Essay
The moral compass Essay Introduction According to the definition of the Moral Compass text, moral
compass is the reflective, international adoption of values and behaviors as a framework for realizing
the good in oneself, in others, and in the social and material environment. My own moral compass is
constructed mainly by my parents and the eastern social values and principles of relationships, which
are largely influenced by the thoughts and ideas of Buddhism, Taoism and the Confucianism. Among
them, Confucianism affects my country s social values and furthermore my parents and my moral

Moral Fitness My moral code and the belief of human nature evil leads me to cultivate the knowledge
and the competences of myself. I believe it is my own responsibilities to be sensitive about the
interaction between people and learn how to protect myself from being hurt by others, regardless
intentionally or unintentionally. Therefore, I will make observations of people and the environments,
to always best understand what situation I am and try to set up some prevention measurements to set
myself from falling into a bad situation. Also, I will try to grow myself to be more intelligent and
stronger. And the most important thing is, I will never try to do harms to people because I can
simultaneously be more sensitive to know whether if there is any harm to others by the measurements
I am about to take. Defining the Moment Talking about the defining moment of personal moral
challenge, I had one experience facing challenge related to my moral code before. While I was at my
elementary school, I was kind of person that trusted everyone without any other thoughts. I just simply
believed what other said to me, and was not dare or dislike to reject other s request. Once there was a
classmate and also friend of mine tried to borrow some money from me. He said that his mom was
having some financial problems and he and his sister were in bad condition. I knew that his family

Trivium Model Essay
Modern education has, over time, taken the focus off of learning how to learn and has decided to focus
on telling the students what they should learn. They are not given any tools to learn for themselves.
The modern school classroom has a teacher stand in front of a crowded classroom and he/she tells the
students information. They are given very little room to ask question and find answers. Without the
proper foundation of information the children are less likely to remember what is being taught and
worse they are unable to find out more information because they have not been given the tools to dig
deep into subjects. They are expected to give back these fragments of information in order to prove the
teacher did their job. They are not asked to assess the validity of the information they are given and
question whether or not it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I know from personal experience that without the proper foundation of information and discipline,
trying to figure out how to learn something becomes very difficult. In the classical education model,
the students are taught within a structure of the Trivium. The trivium consists of three levels of
learning, the grammar stage, the dialectical stage and the rhetorical stage. Each one of these stages
builds upon the previous one. The grammar stage introduces children to broad topics and information.
This is the stage where they are creating memory files or pegs. The students are able to recite this
information when asked, because they have committed it to memory. The grammar stage leads in to
the dialectical stage. This is where the children begin to understand information. They are taught the
discipline of how to find information they can use to add to their original memory pegs. Here they are
also taught how to logically decipher the truth value of the work they are getting their research from.
This stage will help build the wall of information upon their grammatical foundation.

  • 2. Montgomery College Student Parking Problem From my perspective as a Montgomery College student, the current parking situation has become a problem that needs to be addressed. On the west campus there is only one parking garage and there are not enough spaces for all of the students to park. Some students spend a lot of time circling around looking for a parking space. There is street parking, but students feel that they should not have to pay for parking. In order to get a parking spot, I have to arrive at around 8:00 AM even if my class isn t even until late morning. When I get to the parking garage at around 11:00 AM most of the spaces are filled, and the change over of students has yet to occur. Students drive all the way to the top of the garage just to find that there are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In the city many places are narrow and you have to build up. So to fit more cars into a small space there are lifts. One kind of lift is called the Robotic Parking System. It enables parking from several hundred cars to several thousand in half the amount of space. A person would drive their car into the parking terminal, and sensors would ensure that the car was placed correctly. The driver would exit the vehicle, lock the doors and take a parking card from the kiosk. A computer system then lifts the car and places it on a shelving system. When one is ready to leave they place their parking card into a kiosk and the system locates their car and brings it down. The screen then displays where the driver can pick up their car. This also insures safe parking since it is impossible for someone to break and steal your car. An additional option that is probably the least expensive would be for students to park in parking garages in downtown Silver Spring. Shuttles buses could be provided by the College to pick up students from the garage and at the end of the day the shuttle could bring the students back to their cars. No solution goes without having its issues, whether it is structural, financial or aesthetic. Some of the solutions to expand the parking are more reasonable, while some will cost a pretty penny. Whichever proposal the college decides to go with will benefit the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

My Field Placement Will Be At Child Protective Services Community Needs Assessment Cynthia Sosa New Mexico State University SWK 416 MO1/2 Fall 2016 Introduction My field placement will be at Child protective services in El Paso TX. My Target population for my field placement will be Children who have been maltreated, neglected and abused. Child abuse prevention has grown exponentially in El Paso over the past 31 years. In El Paso alone the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services investigated 4,979 reports of alleged child abuse in 2014 in El Paso County. They confirmed that 1,339 children were indeed victims of abuse; 379 confirmed cases of Physical abuse, 166 confirmed cases of sexual abuse, 56 cases of emotional abuse and 70 cases of medical neglect (Lee Beulah Moor,2016) A troubling trend has emerged regarding the prevention of child maltreatment in the state of Texas. A tragic loophole contributing to continued abuse and in many cases child fatalities, continues to be exploited to the detriment of one of our most vulnerable populations. From 2009 to 2014, there were 800 child fatalities reported as abuse and neglect deaths by Child Protective Services in all of Texas (Ball, 2015). An analysis of these cases by an independent research group found gross errors by CPS and other agencies during ongoing abuse cases enabled the abuse or neglect to continue, inevitably leading to death. • 6. French And Indian War Turning Point Essay The French and Indian War Turning Point During the French and Indian War, many things changed like the forced quartering of soldiers, the end of salutary neglect, and self government, while the colonies not wanting to unite, the feeling of not being represented in parliament from the colonists, and the neglect of a redress of the colonists grievances from the king stayed the same. In the colonies, before the French and Indian war, life was good. Things were simple in Britain s relationship with the colonies, they traded with each other and Britain gave salutary neglect to the colonists trading with people they were not supposed to trade with. The colonists were mad at the king because he forced them to fight in a war they did not want part it. During the war, which we had already been fighting, the king had impressed us into the British army and we were forced to leave behind our families and fight in the war. And when the war was finished, we were forced to pay for the war expenses through internal taxes. The king had not internally taxed us in over a century, so the taxes worsened the crack. In a time of peace, there were standing soldiers kept in the colonies, which lead to the Boston massacre. All these were made okay because of the acts in which Parliament passed. The quartering act forced us to provide housing and supplies to soldiers who began taking away the jobs in the colonies. The Stamp Act forced us to have to pay taxes on everything paper, including cards and dice. The tea act put excessive taxes on tea. All of these taxes were imposed soon after the war, which made the colonists upset. But what upset them even more was that they did not have anybody from the colonies elected into Parliament, making them feel like they were not represented the way they should be. The intolerable acts were also implemented, which threatened their self government, so they fought back against Britain by creating the Continental Congress. After a few meetings of the Continental Congress, the colonies then decided to unite and declare independence from ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. In The Waiting Room Elizabeth Bishop The poem, In the Waiting Room shown within Elizabeth Bishop s book The Complete Poems 1927 1979 is an engaging and descriptive poem about a child s self coming into adulthood. Elizabeth, the child, narrates the story from her point of view, reading the National Geographic while waiting for Aunt Consuelo to be finished with her appointment. The National Geographic however, is a gateway which portrays Elizabeth s adult side, showing her as a child what is to come as she grows older. Aunt Consuelo and those within the waiting room during the time when Elizabeth looks around adds on to this point, making her ask more questions about her own name, as well as her becoming like her Aunt. Which started with her picking up and flipping through, the yellow margins of the National Geographic. The idea behind the book National Geographic is to transport the reader into a location that they have not been too. For this poem however, it transports Elizabeth to her being an adult. Showing her what is to come with adulthood, Babies with pointed heads wound round and round with string; black, naked women with necks wound round and round with wire like the necks of light bulbs. Their breasts were horrifying (26 31) Elizabeth is horrified with what she sees as clearly stated, she does not wish to become an adult. To be given these breasts, or even the experience of a child. The Russian Revolution of 1917 was unsuccessful because of how it did not accomplish the initial goal of establishing communism, internal social and economic issues within Russia, detrimental effects of rapid industrialisation and became the catalyst of a civil war. The defeat in war against Japan, in 1905, led to increased opposition to the Tsar, who was viewed as incompetent. Due to Russia s sheer amount of citizens in the country, it resulted in a overcrowded society, poor housing along with poor living and working conditions (created by economic problems in Russia) led to social tension in cities. In terms of land and agriculture, the Russians had methods that were inefficient and backwards as they still used wooden ploughs and very few animals and tools. With not enough land to go around (due to the controlling of private property), vast expansion of peasant population in the later half of the 19th century led to overcrowding and competition for land. The diverse people of Russia desperately needed a social reform. With peace established with Germany, the of lack of a compete control over the country then led to the civil war immediately after the Bolsheviks assumed power. The Reds (communists) and the Whites (anti communists, Capitalists, western forces) fought a series of battles that resulted in countless deaths. The White forces received support from the Western Allies during the internal war. Four Noble Religions Krystal Tuttila World Religions Kenneth West December 9, 2017 Four Noble Truths and The Eightfold Path Buddhism was different from other religions because it taught that liberation can be obtained from suffering. This was based on our own lives and efforts. Stated in the book, Living Religions , The Buddha taught that by understanding how we create suffering for ourselves we can become free (Fisher 137). This was based on one s own involvement and effort to want happiness. This religion has been spread throughout Asia and India because of these teachings, this religion became more popular throughout the countries. For some people this religion was a way of life. After these teachings were spread throughout the countries, it had developed and picked up other traditions. Buddhism is known as a non theistic religion, which the traditions are built from other religions. Shakyamuni Buddha was the founder of Buddhism, he was not a God. Buddha was an historical figure, the stories that have been told have been passed on over time and not documented. His teachings were not written down and documented until many years later after his death. The only way these were remembered and can be trusted is because they were chanted by monks. • 14. lighthod Light and Dark in Joseph Conrad s Heart of... Light and Dark in Heart of Darkness Joseph Conrad s repeated use of darkness in his novel Heart of Darkness has been widely interpreted. Readers have arrived at many different conclusions about the use of darkness throughout the novel. The critics themselves cannot agree what the darkness means. The critics draw different conclusions about the use of darkness. For some critics, the use of darkness is seen as an intentional literary device. For example, Gary Adelman and Michael Levenson discuss the use of darkness and comment upon Conrad s purpose. Gary Adelman suggests that Conrad used darkness as a means to tie together various elements of the novel. Adelman says, the most elaborate of Conrad s devices for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When Marlow finally meets Kurtz, he is faced with a shocking revelation (87) writes Adelman; that the darkness . . . is not African, but European (87). While Adelman talks about darkness and how it links many elements of the novel together, Michael Levenson concludes that Conrad chose to use darkness throughout the novel because of the sense it conveyed to the reader. Levenson sees darkness as the perfect moral term (404), conjuring up a certain impression that is conveyed from beginning to end of the story. As the story unfolds, the reader is meant to associate darkness with facts and values. Levenson reasons that the transitions (404) from one scene to another are almost seamless (404) as a result of the way in which Conrad uses words like darkness and gloom and what those words come to mean to the reader. To illustrate his point, he talks about the transitions from the literal gloom of the African jungle to Kurtz s gloomy horror . . . from the black bank of clouds above the Thames to the heart of darkness (404). They appear seamless, says Levenson because this darkness is a metaphor which so reliably links facts and values (405). He then points out that because of its associations and the frequency with which it is used, the word darkness scarcely seems a figure of speech at all (405). According to Levenson, this works to Conrad s advantage. He suggests that, as long as there is a strong association in the reader s mind between darkness ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 15. The National Hockey League Of Sun Belt Cities Introduction On August 8th, 1988 Wayne Gretzky gave a tearful farewell to Edmonton after being traded to the Los Angeles Kings. The Gretzky trade had effects beyond the two teams. The landscape of the National Hockey League changed in the years following the Gretzky trade. Ten years after the trade Anaheim, Dallas, Phoenix, Miami, San Jose, and Tampa were awarded NHL franchises. The National Hockey League s southern expansion was partially driven by the attendance increase the Los Angeles Kings experienced after the Gretzky trade. The goal of this essay is to determine what drives attendance in Sun Belt cities. Our study should interest sports economists in academia and National Hockey league executives who make decisions on the league s product placement. Team attendance is the dependent variable in the model and eleven independent variables were run in two different regressions. The first regression run was a Least Squares regression and the second was a time series regression. The time series regression was necessary to run since the results of the Least Squares regression may have been biased. The time series regression reveled two important conclusions. First, winning a championship had a positive and statistically significant impact on attendance in southern cities. Second, the time series regression illustrated that each city has special characteristics driving attendance that we cannot measure. I mean, being the crash site for the second wave of aliens on earth can earn quite the reputation, and what are the odds I would be working there that very day? Well, to understand my position entirely, we need to go back to the beginning. In 1939, the U.S. declared itself a neutral country in the European conflict that would come to be known as World War II. In 1941, Franklin Roosevelt became the first and only president elected for three terms. Later that year, Japan attacked the U.S. at Pearl Harbor. These events spiraled into the earth changing event that was the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Many scientists believe this to be the event that caused the Invasion, as it sent some sort of radioactive wave throughout the galaxy. Although people tend to may disagree with each other, there was no doubt that it was a devastating blow to the entire world. The Roswell crash in 1947 was the first contact we had with any species not from Earth. Nurse Karen advises patients with respiratory diseases to stay indoors to avoid any respiratory irritants the fire is causing. Many of the public health care teams in Neighborhood were playing catch up after the fire had been raging for days. The hospital in Neighborhood failed to call a code yellow. Initiating a code yellow would have alerted the emergency response team to action to help accommodate the influx of patients the health care facilities were facing. Because of the failure to call the code yellow, the staff is overworked and is causing added stress on the hospital staff on the floor, the emergency room, and throughout the hospital. If a state of emergency were called, more staff as well as room for patients would have been made available, thus decreasing stress the staff is feeling. Because the forest fire was raging out of control close to the city, the science fair should have either been canceled or rescheduled until the fire was put out and the threat gone. Public service announcements should have been broadcast alerting residents of the fire and the health hazards they could face. Residents should have been warned to stay indoors and to only go outside if necessary. Luckily, most residents stayed indoors, or else there would have been an even larger number of patients in the emergency room. Mr. and Mrs. Darling and the pirates of Neverland are the depicted adults throughout Peter and Wendy. The Lost Boys and Peter exhibit what happens when a child lives without an adult. However, once Wendy does kiss Peter, Peter suggests she follows him to Neverland, because the lost boys are rather lonely and have no female companion (Barrie 95). The relationship between these two characters represents the need of men and women in each other s lives. The novel s climax begins when Wendy, a preteen girl, is taken into Neverland to become a mother to the Lost Boys. Following gender stereotypes, when Wendy is introduced to Peter, she fixes his lost shadow, by sewing it back for him. At first, Peter attempts to take credit for Wendy s work, but he realizes that has upset Wendy. Then Peter responds to her kindness by saying, Wendy, one girl is more use than twenty boys (Barrie 91). This statement by Peter is very surprising to both Wendy and the reader. According to stereotypes, especially during the early 20th century, women typically need men, but in this situation, Peter admits the need of women to men, especially young boys. This is due to the fact that none of the Lost Boys have a family, especially a mother, to look out for them. Peter admits that the Lost Boys are in need of parental guidance, and Wendy then follows Peter back to Neverland to become the boys mother, something all children evidently need. It becomes very clear that the Lost Boys need a parental figure, whether it be Wendy or someone else. Even before Wendy arrives, the evil pirates attempt to set a trap on ... Solving The Mortgage Products Are Available To understand what mortgage products are available, it is worthwhile to understand what they are comprised of; the repayment type and the interest rate. There are also taxes, lender fees and other costs. Firstly, mortgages vary by how you repay the capital, or money borrowed. There are three types of repayment plan: repayment, interest only, or a hybrid of the two. In addition to the repayment, there is interest that the lender charges you to borrow capital. It comes in three types: fixed rate, tracker rate and variable rate. Repayment mortgages, also known as capital and interest mortgages, are similar to other loans. The entire mortgage will decrease over the term of the loan, usually twenty five to thirty years. You will have paid off the entire loan when the term ends if you keep up with monthly repayments. You pay monthly, initially reducing mostly the interest on the capital. Then, you pay more towards reducing the capital borrowed. A repayment mortgage can also help get better rates if you decide to take on another mortgage. You will be able to show that you own an increasing equity as you pay off of your home, an appealing quality to lenders. Looking closer at monthly repayments, you are more likely to get a better deal if you pay a larger down payment, or deposit. It is suggested that you put down ten percent of the property s value. Your monthly repayments will be lower than that of a mortgage with a five percent deposit. Financial products analysts Moneyfacts ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Some common arguments are that it is more dangerous to have a gun in the house than to go unarmed. They say that if you confront an armed bugler in your house you are more likely to be harmed if you show force than if you don t. Another argument is that gun makers should know that their products might be used in a crime and should be liable if they are used to hurt someone. Anything can be wrongfully used. Cars, guns, hammers, ice picks, computers the list just keeps going. Only the person using the tool is responsible for how it s used. Excessive gun control has an opposite effect on crime rates. Data from Dr. Gary Kleck, a Florida State University Criminologist, suggests that total ban on handgun possession increases crime rates. Kennesaw, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, passed a city gun ordinance in 1982 that requires heads of households (with certain exceptions) to keep at least one firearm in their homes. During the law s first years, crimes against people, including homicide, rape, armed robbery, aggravated assault, and residential burglary, plummeted 74 percent compared to 1981, then dropped another 45 percent in 1983 compared to 1982. This simple story line, identifies the French new wave, yet with its richness in subtleties the film is more about what it doesn t speak. To make my discussion explicable and convincing I must write about the scene in relation to another, and must correspond shots to another. The scene begins with a one long take, Paul and Camille enters their barely furnished apartment, yet the flat is full of books and paintings scattered all around, this doesn t only emphasize that Paul is a play writer with inclination to arts, because this flat contrasts with Jerry s big fancy house in the previous scene. Jerry is an American producer, and his house is cramped with fancy furniture, statuettes, lamp lights and musical instruments but it lacks the elements of culture. We can draw from this two different meanings. First, the reflection of cinema at that time, Hollywood which was fancy but lacking culture and meaning, and the French cinema which was poor yet rich with culture and meaning. In the classical education model, the students are taught within a structure of the Trivium. The trivium consists of three levels of learning, the grammar stage, the dialectical stage and the rhetorical stage. Each one of these stages builds upon the previous one. The grammar stage introduces children to broad topics and information. This is the stage where they are creating memory files or pegs. The students are able to recite this information when asked, because they have committed it to memory. The grammar stage leads in to the dialectical stage. This is where the children begin to understand information. They are taught the discipline of how to find information they can use to add to their original memory pegs. Here they are also taught how to logically decipher the truth value of the work they are getting their research from.
