coverage of terrorism can lead to government censorship and manipulation of the media. In the case
of the Moscow theatre crisis, this censorship and manipulation included the shutdown of various
independent media outlets, the creation of legislature that further diminished the possibility for a
free and independent press in Russia, and the outright travel embargoes for journalists. These

The general adaption syndrome or sometimes referred to as GAS is a collection of symptoms of
a stress disease named by Hans Selye in the 1930s. GAS is defined as sequenced physiological

stress response. GAS is a three stage process that describes the physiological changes that the body

Throughout Whale Rider Paikea is expected to listen to what her grandpa tells her to do and say.
Personally, Paikea feels conflicted and under pressure to stick to her grandpas rules, as she
wants to go her own way. Her grandpa finds it hard to see Paikea as her own person and can t
accept modernity, which he is not used to. He also stops her from learning the ways of a Maori
chief, which is something she still tries to do in secret with the help of the rest of her family. Koro
sometimes fails to see what Paikea can do, as he feels very strongly about old traditions, but
other times he sees what she can do and fails to appreciate it. Paikea just wants to be loved and
accepted by her grandfather and her strong sense of leadership and determination to get that from

Koro feels the need to stick to old traditions and rules but is not willing to try new things and to

imports. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is an effective tool that can aid economist in comparing

economy is heading in the future.

In Herman Melville s Moby Dick, the white whale has been a representation of many things,
including God, nature and specific origins of life that are beyond the control of mankind. The
