Bridget Jones Analysis
Bridget Jones chronicles a year of her life via diary entries in Helen Fielding s book, justly titled
Bridget Jones Diary. The first person narrative entitles readers to Bridget s inner workings. Buried
inside we find something much darker than her hapless yet cheery blonde exterior would suggest
calorie counting compulsions, daily weigh ins, ruminations about her romance life, and much more.
Though blunt and revealing, Fielding s account of a 32 year old singleton s life fails to subvert the
woes its readership, and very own protagonist, face. Small advances on the frontline of feminism are
made, but mostly, the message of the novel remains as unchanged as Bridget does come the end of the
year. The message is of feminine upkeep, romantic pursuit, and ultimately, self neglect. Bridget shows
a contempt for mainstream beautification rituals, but ultimately, she submits to them in the name of
keeping up appearances. Prior to a date with her prized boss, Daniel, Bridget takes extreme measures,
presumably primping her body for hours: I have nearly slipped a disc, wheezing through a step
aerobics class, scratched my naked body for seven minutes with a stiff brush; cleaned the flat; filled
the fridge, plucked my eyebrows, skimmed the papers and the Ultimate Sex Guide, put the washing in
and waxed my own legs... (52). Her detailed account seethes with annoyance, but Bridget nonetheless
feels compelled to emulate what she sees in the pages of Cosmopolitan. Briefly, Bridget does

Reasons For Acquisition Or Merger Of The Airlines Essay
Reasons for Acquisition or Merger of the Airlines
1) Capitalization
In the Airline industry, most of the capital goes to its Aircrafts. Aircrafts cost several millions of US
Dollars. It can be purchased brand new but usually it is bought as reconditioned units. Purchase can be
through installment or through lease. Even if the Company wants to serve more air routes, they are
limited by the number and capacity of the Aircraft they have. The Airline industry is in stiff
competition due to the parallel competition in Tourism. That is why every Airline company is
compelled to always upgrade and increase their Aircrafts or they will be pushed out of the market. If
the company lacks capital and investors to do so, they will forced to either sell part of their ownership
or sell its total control to Bigger and more stable companies.
In this case, Asian Spirit which only started as an Airline Cooperative, had limited and small aircrafts
and cannot expand its services to International flights. That is why they needed an Investor who can
materialize such essential development. And thus came, Mr. Alfredo Yao through his Holding
Company, AMY Holdings Inc. which bought total control of Asian Spirit from its founders. 2) Human
Resource
It takes number of years of training before an Airline personnel can be certified to board on an aircraft,
from its Captain down to its service crew. The success or failure of any Airline company lies in the
hands of their personnel on board

Advertising Strategy Of Coca-Cola
INTRODUCTION
It is rightly said that advertisement is as much a science as it is an art. advertisements are primary
mode of communication in the field of marketing as it serves as a direct contact with the consumers of
a product. an advertisement of any product is successful in making its place in the market only if it
succesfully reaches and creates an attractive image of the product in the mind of the consumers. Coca
Cola, a beverage company, is an American multinational beverage corporation and manufacturer,
retailer, and marketer of non alcoholic beverage that is headquatered in Atlanta, Georgia. The
company rightly claims its hold over the Indian market and remains one of the most famous soft
drinks in India. All the contemporary beverages use various marketing strategies to keep a hold on the
Indian market. The most powerful strategy that ensures a company s reach to the market and thus to

COCA COLA s ADVERTISEMENT CAMPAIGN Coca Cola had a presence in India before 1977, but
was subsequently forced to exit the Indian market. When the company returned to India post
liberalization, it came up with an innovative communication and advertising strategy that resulted in a
successful comeback. Coca Cola has essentially been following the principle of differentiation. It is
important to note that Coca Cola made some exceptions for India. The company has similar marketing
strategies across geographies and usually doesn t depend on celebrity endorsements. But given the
great fan following, and in adapting to the Indian context, the company had to initially deviate from its
set character and give an Indian touch to their advertisements so that people of the country welcomed
the product with open arms.

Plan Of Action Plan Analysis
Plan of Action Due to Funding Cut Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, I am hosting today s
mandatory meeting to discuss the recent funding cuts the clinic has been forced to make. As many of
you are aware, our facility, and others community health centers like ours, are funded through the
public and federal grant money we receive. This allocation of money previously allowed us to provide
care to everyone who walked through our clinic doors, even if they did not have the means to pay for
treatment or where undocumented immigrants. Sadly, due to the funding cuts we had to make, our
clinic will no longer be providing this same level of care to those who walk through our doors. Until
we can re expand our hospital funding to its glory we will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Thanks to funds and each of the medical professionals here at the clinic it can be said in the past we
treated each patient with beneficence, including the undocumented. Each of you provided the best care
you could albeit the numerous circumstances we have encountered and acted with kindness, mercy,
and charity towards our patients (Beauchamp Childress, 2013). Before each of you started working
here you each swore to provide care within your scope of practice, care for patients with altruism and
without prejudice. By providing solely emergency care to undocumented immigrants we will still be
providing routine care and abiding by our call of duty. Some individuals may view this as non
beneficent and prejudice due to the clinic no longer providing care to the undocumented that are
acutely and chronically ill. However, we must remember care that goes above and beyond that of
emergency care goes above the routine call of duty. In combination with limiting care to the
undocumented, the board has come to an agreement on additional services that we can ration
appropriately. Undocumented individuals and those who enter our facility that need additional care,
besides emergency treatment or services we have limited, will be transferred by ambulance to
neighboring clinics that have the appropriate means to care for them. This alone is an act of
compassion to the ill and

Examples Of Racism In The Native Son
The Native Son by Richard Wright took place in Chicago, Illinois during the nineteen thirties. The
protagonist, Bigger Thomas, is a twenty year old African American boy who hates white supremacy
and racism. He is involved with gangs and is constantly disappointing his family. Since Mr. Thomas
(Bigger s father) died, Bigger s family has lost everything. The family of four lives in a tiny rat
infested apartment, and has barely enough money to survive. Bigger s mother wants Bigger to get a
job as a chauffeur. Bigger, on the other hand, has other ideas. Bigger Thomas his friends, Gus, G. H.,
and Jack, were going to meet before they went out to go rob a store, but this robbery wasn t going to
be like any other robbery that they have done before. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The sound effects were out of place and did not fit with the moods of some scenes. Also, the acting
was not up to par for such an influential novel. The movie leaves out many scenes that show Bigger s
viciousness, such as, him forcing Gus to lick his knife. After reading the novel, those scenes feel flat,
but Young Oprah Winfrey plays Bigger s mother. That means everyone can enjoy the film. In addition,
the movie changes how the audience views the story of Bigger by putting the novel in context of the
thirties. People can view the story instead of just imagining it. People who grew up in the twenty first
century would have never imagined how the city and houses looked. It provided a visual aspect of the
story which added even more suspense to the already suspenseful

The Life and Achievements of Margaret Eleanor Atwood Essay
Margaret Eleanor Atwood, one of the most acclaimed and idolized writers to date. Atwood was born
in Ottawa, Ontario, on November 18th, 1939 in the Ottawa General Hospital. Two and a half months
after the beginning of the Second World War (Atwood). She is a renowned novelist and poet;
furthermore writer of short stories, critical studies, screenplays, radio scripts and books for children

Back in those days it was very unlikely for women to go to college. Likewise, Margaret s mother did;
she is a former college educated dietitian (Atwood). While learning that education was the key to the
future door in life, Margaret had been very interested in English literate. So she decided at the age of
five years old she was going to started writing comic books and many short stories (Gale). At the age
of sixteen years old she began to become very serious about her big goal in life, becoming a poet.
Before she started her dream, she fulfilled her wild side by exploring the wilderness with her father
Carol Atwood, an entomologist (insect scientist). Spending much time with her father, Margaret
learned about nature and the world around her (Gale). At one time she lingered back and forth about
her future and what she really wanted to do. Like most at her age, not knowing what they want their
future to hold. She knew it would be one of the two, nature scientist or writing. However, she chose to
be a writer.
As an adolescent Margaret was homeschooled before going on to high school (Leaside High School)

science standard focuses on students gaining the ability to demonstrate an understanding of animals
and their classifications. This core science content emphasizes on students making observations and
explanations about a specific subject matter, by directly exploring and investigating. Students
participation in these assignments and investigations should be structured and monitored as they learn

How The CIA Killed The Bay Of Pigs Invasion
Investigation
After ousting U.S. supported Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista in 1959, Fidel Castro came to power
and began to nationalize American assets in retaliation to a trade embargo. The CIA and the
Eisenhower administration began to formulate a plan to remove Castro from power. While
Eisenhower had started the process for the Bay of Pigs invasion, it would take place 3 months after
Kennedy was sworn into office. Inspired by an U.S. led revolution in Guatemala in 1954, the CIA and
the White House sought to create a revolution in Cuba without any ties to U.S. interference. Lyman B.
Kirkpatrick, CIA inspector general, stated no one seriously studied whether it was even possible to
overthrow Castro in the first place. Strong indications existed that it wasn t (Wyden, 322). This
investigation will show that the CIA ruined the Bay of Pigs invasion by neglecting fatal flaws in the
invasion plan.
Going into planning for the invasion, the CIA looked to repeat what it had accomplished in Guatemala
in 1954, where it successfully established a coup d etat to remove Jacobo Arbenz from power. In a
meeting with the Bay of Pigs Project Director Jake Esterline, Dave Phillips, who had coordinated the
propaganda for the Guatemala was informed to attempt to repeat the Guatemala ... Show more content

waffled as to how aggressively to salvage the operation (Bass). However, this perspective is
misdirected as to who to blame. The CIA constructed the Bay of Pigs Invasion, they were the ones
who failed to get presidential support for their plan in its entirety, to grasp that they did not have the
support of the Cuban people, and to maintain secrecy of the invasion plans, not the Kennedy
administration. The CIA had failed to properly inform Kennedy about the necessity of air support,
which was a direct cause of the failure of the invasion (Fursenko and Naftali,

Chaffee s Cosmological Argument
Per Chaffee, the cosmological argument examines the orderly, coherent, and intelligible nature of the
cosmos and examines the proofs that are given by science and philosophers for God to have designed
the universe (Chaffee 338). He states that in the cosmological argument, the universe is contingent or
dependent on God to create it because upon examination of the universe, everything owes its existence
to something else; following this logic, for the universe to exist, there must be something that the
universe owes its existence to (338). Theists claim that this reason for the universe to be in existence is
divine creation by an almighty, eternal, God. Chaffee continues on to state the cosmological theory
provides the basis for its argument ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That is, when Russell claimed that the cosmological theory was invalid because that it offers no
explanation as to the origin of God, I stated that it was a sweeping generalization fallacy. He does so
by not considering the exception of the creation of God. In Craig s dissertation, he alludes to an
Uncaused First Cause and expands upon this idea by stating that it must transcend space and time,
since it created space and time (Craig). This means that because God existed before the origin of space
and time, he is exempt from the rules of space and time and therefore, does neither need an origin to
exist, nor have one. He is eternal in every aspect, infinite in existence. The cosmological argument
thus provides us with the grounds to believe in the existence of a beginningless, uncaused, timeless,
spaceless, changeless, immaterial, enormously powerful, Personal Creator of the Universe (Craig).
This explanation can point to none other than

Morocco is a country that is not an open country to various religions aside from Islam, despite what
their Constitution and leading politicians claim. Furthermore, Morocco is currently 0.01% evangelized
overall. It is in desperate need of evangelism. There are over 13 million people in Morocco that need
to hear about Jesus Christ. That would be the equivalent of all of Illinois and Vermont being
completely unreached. This paper will attempt to outline a strategy of beginning a church planting
movement that reaches the rural Arab, Moroccan s and more specifically, the Arabized Berber ethnic
group that are primarily farmers and small villagers, through practical means of farming techniques
and livestock care that will establish relationships. In order to accomplish this, this paper will first
attempt to give a brief background of the Arabized Berbers by highlighting their history, culture,
language and religion. Second, this paper will survey the work of current missionaries among them
that explores the history of missions, the status of the church today and the strategies being employed.
Finally, this paper will offer a proposal for a strategy to reach the Arabized Berbers that involves
prayer, financial support, partnering with indigenous churches, believers and other organizations and
tent making skills that encourage self support.

Customer Satisfaction And Customer Engagement Essay
Customer Satisfaction and Customer Engagement.
For a business to prosper, the staff must ensure the customers are treated with respect. Any business
solely depends on the availability of its customers or clients. If the clients are not contented with the
type of service they receive from a specified firm, they will move to other places where they will be
satisfied. As such, it is important, as a manager of any business, to ensure customers are treated with
respect and are in turn happy. To make sure that this happens, the staff need to know how to engage
properly with a client and ensure the customer is satisfied with the type of service they get.
The following couple of paragraphs will help discuss and understand customer satisfaction and
customer engagement. The discussion will entail the differences between these two and how each can
be attained in any business. It shall also enlighten one on the importance of these two factors towards
a successful business.
Customer satisfaction refers to the feeling of gratitude a customer or client gets after purchasing goods
or services from a particular firm. Every business must have its tactics to ensure that their customers
are contented with the type of service offered or the goods sold and as such will come back anytime
when in need of the same type of goods or service. To ensure proper customer satisfaction, the staff
must practice good customer engagement.
Customer engagement is relationship and connection the workforce

Analysis Of The Movie Evicted
Evicted is a novel that follows the story of families who struggle with losing their homes, and the
hurdles they have to jump to survive. The events that take place in this novel take place in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin. According the American Housing Survey, 1991 2013, a majority of poor renting families
spend at least half their income on housing. Poverty is a major problem in America and the price of
housing doesn t help. The first family the novel introduces is the family of Arleen and her sons. Their
story starts with one of Arleen s sons, Jori, throwing a snowball at a car. The driver retaliated by
kicking down the door in their apartment. This led the eviction of Arleen and her family. As winter
was setting in, Arleen found an available room in Sherrena s building. Landlords have their own share
of troubles and the previous tenant had called a building inspector, which would have costed Sherrena
a lot of money. The only financially sound choice was to evict the tenant. The next person to come in
play is Lamar. Lamar is a 51 year old black Vietnam veteran who lives under the same landlord as
Arleen. He has prosthetics on both legs and was always in his wheelchair. He has two sons, but had
constant visits from his son s friends. Milwaukee used to have many good paying jobs up until the late
20th century. Many of the plants from wartime were closed done due to the bosses searching for cheap
labor. In the 1980s Milwaukee was a center of deindustrialization. To top it off,

Dear White People Analysis
A Netflix TV show, Dear White People produced by Justin Simien, is about the students of Winchester
University. This show tends to target not only the Netflix customers, but the black and white audience
as well; the entire first season generally focuses on the media, racial, and gender roles within the
community as well as the mainstream problem of the unrecognized white privilege by white skinned
people. Looking up who the producer is, it turns out that Simien is a black skinned man. Therefore, he
fully understands the politics and the human behavior towards the black race from the white race
(considering racism towards people with his skin color has been around for so long). Being black
skinned is already clear for many people to assume that he probably has dealt with the racism majority
of his life, considering the repeating themes throughout the show. Even with the title, the producer is
purposefully calling out to the specific audiences in a straightforward way. According to some
reviews, many have concluded that Dear White People is extremely offensive to them. While
watching the show, there were a few significant and periodic themes that showed throughout the first
season and the major themes I chose were important how the roles of media played throughout the
show. As a result, the roles of the media within the show reveals that people tend to communicate to
the public of who they they really are as a person by showing what they want the public to see them

Compare And Contrast Jamestown And Massachusetts Bay Colony
On paper, both Jamestown and Massachusetts Bay Colony were founded by charter companies in
hopes of finding silver and gold in North America. However, the real reasons each colony was
founded differed. Jamestown was founded by the Virginia Company of London, while the
Massachusetts Bay Colony was founded by the Massachusetts Bay Company. Both colonies ran into
similar difficulties after establishment. In the end, both were able to find a way to prosper.
The charters for both colonies stated they wanted to find silver and gold. In reality, the settlers did
want to find riches, but also had other motives. Jamestown was the first permanent English settlement
in North America and was founded in 1607. England wanted a settlement in the New World.
Jamestown settlers went in search of gold and silver deposits as well as river route to Pacific Ocean.
The hope was the river route would allow for easier trade with Asia. The Jamestown settlers included

increasing pressure against religious dissenters. The Puritans created the Massachusetts Bay Company

sold him on the chance of finding gold and silver. Even though the king thought the reason for
settlement was finding silver and gold, the real reason was religious freedom. The Puritans wanted to
be able to practice religion as they saw fit.
The initial failures faced by both settlements were very similar. Early problems included hunger,
illness, harsh winters, and attacks by local Indian tribes. Additionally, the Massachusetts Bay Colony
lacked fresh water and arrived later in the year than they wanted. This late arrival gave them less time

Language Influences Child Language Development
The quality of language input influences child language development. Deaf children are unique in the
sense that they often have a different modality of language from their parents, providing a platform to
investigate the importance of language quality and onset. There are two categories of deaf children:
deaf children of deaf parents (DCDP) and deaf children of hearing parents (DCHP). DCDP are
referred to as native signers and make up 5 10% of the deaf community population (Lu, Jones,
Morgan, 2016). The language development of DCDP mimic that of hearing children in terms of onset,
rate, and patterns of development (Morgan Woll, 2002). Comparatively, DCHP make up the other 90

greater effect on WM, then hearing children and DCDP should perform better than DCHP. Each group

Air Force Academy Essay
Did you know that the Air Force Academy only has a 12.3% acceptance rate? Because the Air Force
Academy has such a competitive admission policy, candidates need to be physically fit, well educated,

established on April 1, 1954 to serve as a proving ground for all Air Force cadets and officers.
Construction of the academy started in 1955, but it wasn t until 1957 that it was complete. The

Maust-Mohl s Argument Analysis
The tourism industry regarding animal encounters can harm the animal such as physical beatings,
malnourishment and mental trauma. Hediger agrees when he writes, Trifling disturbances may occur,
for the simple reason that certain innate behavior pattern, adapted for life in freedom, cannot develop
properly under conditions of captivity, or be brought into play, through lack of appropriate stimuli (pg.
29). Basically, Hediger is warning us that putting animals in captivity for our personal pleasure can
harm them in many ways besides physically. Society needs to pay attention to the animals overall

Writing in the journal, Social and Cultural Geography, Rebekah Fox states that, we need to recognize
the continuity of all life forms and value beings for their own intrinsic worth, autonomy and difference
rather than on the basis of their similarity to humans (pg. 527). In other words, Fox believes that
humans see animals as having both humanistic qualities and having their natural instinct. However, we
need to see all animals as having their own worth, and that no species are the same. Although Fox
does not say so directly, she apparently assumes that humans create these humanistic qualities of the
animal they are spending time with, with their own qualities. Fox agrees when she writes, readings
tend to essentialize animal actions into supposed biological behavior, such as the pack instinct in dogs,
and ignore animal agency and individual interaction (pg. 529). The essence of Foxs argument is that
some literature focuses on the animal s natural instinct instead of the empathy and individualistic traits
they have. While some people rarely admit as much similarity we have with animals, they often take
for granted that humans have the same natural instinct to want to protect their young and defend
against predators. Realizing the similarities humans have with animals the public needs to be more
concerned about the tourism industry and how it greatly affects animals lives. The

Philosophy of Education Essay
Philosophy of Education
One of the most privileged professions in the world today is teaching. Teachers can influence the
youth of a culture in a way no one else can. Teachers have the honorable responsibility of education.
Students develop mentally, socially, and ethically within the realm of academic education. While in
this critical stage of development, students are given the laboratory of the classroom to test themselves
in ways that are more risky after graduation. Teachers play a crucial role in this laboratory. I believe
that the most important way I can serve my students while fulfilling this role is to have positive

I will treat these students as if they will eventually change perspectives, even if they never do.
Treating all students with respect, I believe that having high expectations and recognizing each student
s positive potential will contribute greatly to the students I teach.
My performance as a teacher is also very important. I believe in continually reflecting on my teaching
practices and improving them as I accommodate to each new class. My teaching habits, such as
organization, consistency, and effective classroom management, will always need to be revised and
improved to create the best classroom learning environment. Meeting national, state, regional, and
school academic standards are also very important to me. As an employee of the state, I feel obligated
to do my best to teach the required knowledge effectively, through creative activities that are
accommodating to all learners. I hold a very high standard for myself professionally, and hope to
constantly improve my teaching strategies through reflection.
Through literature, students can be empowered with the knowledge that no one person could teach
them. Knowledge gained through literature not only prepares students to live in a world where reading
and writing proficiency are required for success, but also helps students mature emotionally, mentally,
and socially. Through the middle and high school years, students

The Positive And Negative Effects Of The Age Of...
During the 1800s, there was a period of time where the European countries rushed to gain territories in
Africa and Asia, this was called the Age of Imperialism. Imperialism is the direct or indirect control of
one nation by another nation. This period happened for several reasons like the European wanted to
separate there ideas and culture and they wanted more power. During the Imperialism, Belgium gained
one of the most Important countries in Africa the Congo. In 1908, Congo was completely taken by the
Belgian government and was renamed the Belgian Congo. King Leopold II of Belgium claimed
Congo mostly for resources. The Congolese people were forced to work on rubber plantation when he
was the ruler, because at that time rubber was used in the manufacture of bicycle and automobile tires,
and was a much needed resource worldwide. Of course for every event there are effects, there are
positive and negative effects that changed and affected the Congolese ideas and thinking when they
were colonized by Belgium.
In the late 1800s, imperialism occurred. It was the time for European countries to try to take as much

The Security Of Database System
The Security Of Database
Introduction
In the contemporary times, it has been widely believed that the huge computer network platform is
considered to be extremely beneficial in terms of making the entire community more informative
(Martínez, et al, 2013). The technology of database has created a leading position for itself in the
computing environment. However, due to this drastic increase in the use of computer network
systems, it has been widely observed that there has been an aggravation in the aspects of network
intrusion and identity theft. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save
yourselves from this untoward generation (Acts2:40, New King James Version). Therefore, the
database system is considered to be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Thesis Statement
The aspect of computer database security is aggravating with the increase in intense influence of
technology in our routine lives. The paper aims to present some key security threats and the effective
solutions in order to counter such threats that are largely adopted by the companies in today s world.
Various Types of Attacks on the Computer Network System
After the violation of several layers of protection, it has been observed that the attacker or hacker may
want to perform the below listed attacks.
Direct Attacks
This type of attack specifically means that the targeted data or sensitive information is attacked
directly. Due to this, it has been observed that these targeted attacks are considered to be extremely
obvious and they are successful only in the condition if the database is not protected by any sort of
protection mechanism (Ahmad, et al, 2011). In case there is any protection system installed at the
gateway, this type of attack is failed and the attacker proceeds to the next.
Indirect Attacks
In this type of attack, the attack is not aimed directly at the data or information, which is targeted.
Rather, in an indirect attack, information about the target and from the target is achieved through
various intermediate objects. Here, attackers usually use combination of keys as well as queries. Some
of them are even used for the purpose of misdirecting and cheating the secure mechanism of database
security (Ambler, 2012). These are

Even mothers whose daughters have been killed in the name of honor often condone such violent
acts.. In addition, communal acceptance of honor killings furthers the claim that violence in the name
of honor is a private issue and one to be avoided by law enforcement. Community acceptance of these
killings stifles accurate reporting of the number of violent crimes against women in the name of honor.
As a result, the true extent of the prevalence of honor killings is still not fully known
The murder of women in the name of honor is a gender specific form of discrimination and violence.
In societies where so called honor killings are allowed to occur, governments are failing in their
responsibility to protect and ensure women their human rights. Honor killings should be regarded as
part of a larger spectrum of violence against women, as well as a serious human rights violation.
Amnesty International calls on you to help bring an end to honor killings, and to demand that
governments take steps to ensure that women and men enjoy equal treatment under law.
History of Honor Killing
The history of such killings in India has its roots rooted deep since the time of partition of the country
between the years 1947 and 1950 when many women were forcefully killed so that family s honor
could be preserved. The influence of religion

Fossil Fuels Is A Nonrenewable Resource
Fossil Fuels
Fossil fuels is a nonrenewable resource found in many different locations such as Oman, Qatar,
Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Darussalam , Trinidad and Tobago, Bahrain, Algeria and Libya.
They are formed from the remains of fossil plant and animal life. We use fossil fuels to power our cars
and airplanes, medicine, makeup, and to run many different types of appliances. Many products that
are used everyday wouldn t be available without the oil and gas extracted and processed from fossil
fuels. Some advantages are being able to generate great amounts of electricity in one location, cost
efficient and reliable, coal is becoming more and more available as geologists are finding coal mines,
easily stored and transported from one place to another and new technology had been made to safely
extract fossil fuels. Some disadvantages are it gives off carbon dioxide causing the greenhouse effect,
which contributes to the global warming, mining of coal results in the destruction of wide areas,
extracting coal puts workers in danger of health problems, moving fossil fuels from one location to
another can involve leaks in oil tankers or ships that include toxic substances that puts marine life in
hazards and lastly, burning coal releases acid rain.

Graphic Design And Art And Design
Often times a painting has the same structure as a design. The details can be similar for both Graphic
Design and Fine Art. Paintings such as Son of Man by Magritte which has basics such as shadow,
highlight, simple composition, and a dull color palette. A design for Apple Laptops was created of a
decal of Son of Man. This design also had shadow, light, basic composition, and an achromatic color
palette. The structure is the same, but one is created digitally and one is a painting. The processes can
also be very similar. Many artists use technology in their artwork. They use Adobe Photoshop and
Adobe Illustrator, programs for designers and use it to create their artwork. Artists such as Jeff Koons
who manipulates images on Photoshop, prints it and paints hyper realistic paintings from those
images. The structure and process for art and design can be very similar. Can an artist be a designer or
vise versa? One argument that critics make is that artists are just artists or that a designer is not an
artist. However there are countless artists who are designers and vise versa. One famous designer
would be Eva Zeisel. Eva Zeisel is famous for creating a body of dinner sets which she created after
she was released in Russia. While imprisoned, Zeisel found inspiration in the curves of her own body
claiming it was the only art she had. Afterwards she created useful art which was her groundbreaking
design of minimalist dinnerware, (Eva Zeisel, groundbreaking designer, dies). Her

Analysis Of The Dragon In My Garage By Carl Sagan

modern fixtures completed the buildings futuristic design. This building was the newest in a long line

Ironically just two years later I owned a pair of my own pet rats in highschool, I know that they are
not the monsters that I was made to believe but smart, clean and loving animals when raised properly.
Unfortunately this kind of fallacy is not uncommon, we all hold beliefs that are wrong but have not
been challenged or confronted before. Carl Sagan, a prominent astrophysicist and professor, touches
on these topics in his essay The dragon in my garage , In this essay he confronts the idea that it s
possible to believe something that to others is obviously false by constructing an imaginary dragon as
an illustration. Though it is well known that dragons are not real, he uses this as a thought experiment
to describe the misplaced beliefs that people can hold. In his example Sagan s dragon cannot be
measured for all intents and purposes besides rare physical manifestations of it s power, yet people
choose to believe it s existence based solely off these small and refutable pieces of evidence. Despite
Sagan s effort to disprove this dragon does all he can to disprove this dragon, by coming up with a
myriad of ways to test its existence yet it is unsuccessful as the dragon is always one step ahead of

A functional disorder is when there is a medical abnormality that is present in the human body but
may not appear altered in structure. The disorders can be contributed by psychological factors such as
stress and anxiety because the illness tends to not have a detectable biological cause. From the
understanding that I have gain about this type of disorder is that it seems to be more based on
symptoms experienced by the people it affects. High blood pressure is a disorder that happen for a
long duration of time where blood is forced against artery walls and strains on heart muscles. There
are usually not many symptoms associated with this condition and the causes can vary. The second

such as environmental, habits in diet, genetic predisposition and age. Asthma is a condition where the
airways are swollen and extra mucus is produced which makes it difficult to breath. People would
asthma may experience shortness of breath and chest pain. Inhalers can assist in the treatment but

Fredrick Definition Of A Hero
A hero is no braver than an ordinary man,but he is brave five minutes longer .(Ralph waldo

standing up for your rights and having bravery in your mind and courage. Hero s take risk, they aren t
cowards, and they show lots of bravery. Heros put other people s feelings into to their shoes and show
their empathy towards they. They don t let the go through things alone. Heroes are those who takes

The exposure to the radiation released will not only result in heightened risks for cancer in
populations, but may also result in other, non cancer related health problems such as thyroid diseases,
visual impairment, circulatory diseases, hereditary disorders and teratogenic defects (developmental
defects in fetuses). It is important that exposure to radiation be estimated so that cancer risks can be
estimated and appropriate responses and health measures can be implemented by governments to deal
with future development in health problems related to the release of radiation from Fukushima. In
2013 the World Health Organization released its health risk assessment for the Fukushima Daiichi
Nuclear disaster concluding that for the general population the lifetime risk for some cancers may be
somewhat elevated above baseline rates for certain age and sex groups that were in the areas most
affected and that disease attributable to the disaster is likely to remain below detectable levels. In 2012
Ten Hoeve and Jacobson provided the first estimates of the health impact of the Fukushima nuclear
accident, estimating an additional 15 to 1100 (most likely 130) cancer related mortalities for the
general population. Both Sophisticated modeling to come to these conclusions. This work to attempts

Somalia And Its Effects On Somalia
I don t recognize my people anymore. I feel Somalia is lost. There is no Somalia. It is just a name
(Abdi, 2016) . Over the past 20 years Somalia as a country has been in turmoil and constant fighting.
Today s Somalia is still a harsh environment and the people are unforgiving as they too are trying to
survive this oasis of violence. Considering Somalia in the news now we see after years of fighting and
trying to support this country with food, water, and security it has progressed but not quickly. It has
been a battle for any support to the country essentially taking two steps forward and one step back. In
2012 a new internationally backed government was installed: Somalia has shown progression but is
still being hindered by an Al Qaeda aligned group, Al Shabaab. Because of this newly backed
government Somalia had their first elected president since 1967. Due to Hassan Sheikh Mohamud
winning the popular vote we can see the country is setting stones to become politically stable. Hassan
Sheikh Mohamud had made plans but shelved next Presidential election due to lack of security in and
infrastructure (Somalia Country profile, 2016). I asses that he could potentially with these new powers
behind him change the way the country is headed for the better. Without more support from the
internationally backed government the president will only be able to do so much for his people and the
country. With Somalia beginning to produce off shore oil and gas on 21 October 2014 they have

If Beale Street Could Talk Analysis
Throughout If Beale Street Could Talk by James Baldwin the main characters have to overcome the
challenges of racism, and the traits that go hand and hand with it, justice and prejudice, to realize what
they actually needed was the family love they already had. Even though there are many romantic and
even some graphic passages in the book, Baldwin mainly focuses on how they had to come together as
a family when Alonzo (Fonny) was in jail and awaiting trial. If Beale Street Could Talk is essentially a
story about the human capacity to love.
After Clementine s (Tish s) meeting with her immediate family, they call over Fonny s family to share
in the news that Tish is pregnant. During a normal situation this would be a happy occasion and the
couple would tell both families at once, together. However Fonny has been in jail for roughly three
months at this point, and Fonny s family, except for his dad Frank, are not excited about Tish being
pregnant. The Holy Ghost will cause that child to shrivel in your womb. But ... Show more content on

A Study On The Mammalian Diving Reflex
Introduction: The mammalian diving reflex represents a primary physiological mechanism to
maximize underwater excursions in air breathing animals. Traditionally, the oxygen conserving reflex
consists of three metabolic and cardiovascular adjustments: (1) notable bradycardia; (2) selective
peripheral vasoconstriction; and (3) increased blood flow to the viscera (Kawakami et al., 1967).
Previous studies have observed such a response in birds and mammals, generalizing the considerable
reduction of heart rate, or diving bradycardia, as indicative of the response (Butler, 1982). The
evolutionary success of these diving animals relies partly on the functional significance of reducing
metabolic demands to prologue underwater survival. Although ... Show more content on

Moreover, Gooden (1994) describes apnea as an essential element to the diving reflex; it ensures not
only the prevention of water inhalation, but also acts as an energy saving device through decreasing
nerve stimulation to the diaphragm and intercostals. Therefore, heart rate will be monitored under both
experimental conditions and compared to the resting rate and apneic resting rate. As a profound
autonomic phenomenon, further establishment of the diving reflex in humans will shed light on the
preservation of the reflex and its role in the survival during near drowning experiences. Only by
examining the physiological response in humans can we appreciate the evolutionary significance of
this innate neural circuitry.
Methods:
An untrained 22 year old male human subject was chosen. A PT 104 pulse plethysmograph was
wrapped around his dominant (right) index finger. Connected through a IXTA data acquisition unit,
heart rate was monitored on LabScribe. The recordings were measured with ten seconds of leeway at
the beginning and end to allow baseline pulse recovery. Digital marks labeled the time interval of the
described action. First the subject s heart rate was measured during a resting phase for twenty seconds.
He was encouraged to relax and remain inactive in order to confirm an accurate baseline reading. For
the apneic condition, the subject repeated this

Spinal Cord Injury Research
Many spinal cord injuries (SCI) patients are suffering from the impairment of impulse conduction and
they are unable to carry out their activities of daily living. Rehabilitation becomes an important role in
enhancing motor recovery and minimizing the deficits of their movement function. The goal of this
research is to deliver natural gait behavior of a rat through active robotics and intelligent system for
the SCI Sprague Dawley rat. The advance of this research is not only the rehabilitation novel system
but also the regenerative medicine novel method from the cooperation of school of chemical and
biomedical engineering (SCBE). In order to reach this goal, the first design of robotic module which
composes of a body weight support system, treadmill for training motor functions and five bar linkage

  • 2. Bridget Jones Analysis Bridget Jones chronicles a year of her life via diary entries in Helen Fielding s book, justly titled Bridget Jones Diary. The first person narrative entitles readers to Bridget s inner workings. Buried inside we find something much darker than her hapless yet cheery blonde exterior would suggest calorie counting compulsions, daily weigh ins, ruminations about her romance life, and much more. Though blunt and revealing, Fielding s account of a 32 year old singleton s life fails to subvert the woes its readership, and very own protagonist, face. Small advances on the frontline of feminism are made, but mostly, the message of the novel remains as unchanged as Bridget does come the end of the year. The message is of feminine upkeep, romantic pursuit, and ultimately, self neglect. Bridget shows a contempt for mainstream beautification rituals, but ultimately, she submits to them in the name of keeping up appearances. Prior to a date with her prized boss, Daniel, Bridget takes extreme measures, presumably primping her body for hours: I have nearly slipped a disc, wheezing through a step aerobics class, scratched my naked body for seven minutes with a stiff brush; cleaned the flat; filled the fridge, plucked my eyebrows, skimmed the papers and the Ultimate Sex Guide, put the washing in and waxed my own legs... (52). Her detailed account seethes with annoyance, but Bridget nonetheless feels compelled to emulate what she sees in the pages of Cosmopolitan. Briefly, Bridget does ... • 3. Reasons For Acquisition Or Merger Of The Airlines Essay Reasons for Acquisition or Merger of the Airlines 1) Capitalization In the Airline industry, most of the capital goes to its Aircrafts. Aircrafts cost several millions of US Dollars. It can be purchased brand new but usually it is bought as reconditioned units. Purchase can be through installment or through lease. Even if the Company wants to serve more air routes, they are limited by the number and capacity of the Aircraft they have. The Airline industry is in stiff competition due to the parallel competition in Tourism. That is why every Airline company is compelled to always upgrade and increase their Aircrafts or they will be pushed out of the market. If the company lacks capital and investors to do so, they will forced to either sell part of their ownership or sell its total control to Bigger and more stable companies. In this case, Asian Spirit which only started as an Airline Cooperative, had limited and small aircrafts and cannot expand its services to International flights. That is why they needed an Investor who can materialize such essential development. And thus came, Mr. Alfredo Yao through his Holding Company, AMY Holdings Inc. which bought total control of Asian Spirit from its founders. 2) Human Resource It takes number of years of training before an Airline personnel can be certified to board on an aircraft, from its Captain down to its service crew. The success or failure of any Airline company lies in the hands of their personnel on board ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

When the company returned to India post liberalization, it came up with an innovative communication and advertising strategy that resulted in a successful comeback. The company has similar marketing strategies across geographies and usually doesn t depend on celebrity endorsements. • 5. Plan Of Action Plan Analysis Plan of Action Due to Funding Cut Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, I am hosting today s mandatory meeting to discuss the recent funding cuts the clinic has been forced to make. As many of you are aware, our facility, and others community health centers like ours, are funded through the public and federal grant money we receive. This allocation of money previously allowed us to provide care to everyone who walked through our clinic doors, even if they did not have the means to pay for treatment or where undocumented immigrants. Sadly, due to the funding cuts we had to make, our clinic will no longer be providing this same level of care to those who walk through our doors. Until we can re expand our hospital funding to its glory we will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Thanks to funds and each of the medical professionals here at the clinic it can be said in the past we treated each patient with beneficence, including the undocumented. Each of you provided the best care you could albeit the numerous circumstances we have encountered and acted with kindness, mercy, and charity towards our patients (Beauchamp Childress, 2013). Before each of you started working here you each swore to provide care within your scope of practice, care for patients with altruism and without prejudice. By providing solely emergency care to undocumented immigrants we will still be providing routine care and abiding by our call of duty. Some individuals may view this as non beneficent and prejudice due to the clinic no longer providing care to the undocumented that are acutely and chronically ill. However, we must remember care that goes above and beyond that of emergency care goes above the routine call of duty. In combination with limiting care to the undocumented, the board has come to an agreement on additional services that we can ration appropriately. Undocumented individuals and those who enter our facility that need additional care, besides emergency treatment or services we have limited, will be transferred by ambulance to neighboring clinics that have the appropriate means to care for them. This alone is an act of compassion to the ill and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The protagonist, Bigger Thomas, is a twenty year old African American boy who hates white supremacy and racism. He is involved with gangs and is constantly disappointing his family. Since Mr. Thomas (Bigger s father) died, Bigger s family has lost everything. The family of four lives in a tiny rat infested apartment, and has barely enough money to survive. Bigger s mother wants Bigger to get a job as a chauffeur. Bigger, on the other hand, has other ideas. Bigger Thomas his friends, Gus, G. The movie leaves out many scenes that show Bigger s viciousness, such as, him forcing Gus to lick his knife. After reading the novel, those scenes feel flat, but Young Oprah Winfrey plays Bigger s mother. That means everyone can enjoy the film. In addition, the movie changes how the audience views the story of Bigger by putting the novel in context of the thirties. People can view the story instead of just imagining it. People who grew up in the twenty first century would have never imagined how the city and houses looked. • 9. How The CIA Killed The Bay Of Pigs Invasion Investigation After ousting U.S. supported Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista in 1959, Fidel Castro came to power and began to nationalize American assets in retaliation to a trade embargo. The CIA and the Eisenhower administration began to formulate a plan to remove Castro from power. While Eisenhower had started the process for the Bay of Pigs invasion, it would take place 3 months after Kennedy was sworn into office. Inspired by an U.S. led revolution in Guatemala in 1954, the CIA and the White House sought to create a revolution in Cuba without any ties to U.S. interference. Lyman B. Kirkpatrick, CIA inspector general, stated no one seriously studied whether it was even possible to overthrow Castro in the first place. Strong indications existed that it wasn t (Wyden, 322). This investigation will show that the CIA ruined the Bay of Pigs invasion by neglecting fatal flaws in the invasion plan. Going into planning for the invasion, the CIA looked to repeat what it had accomplished in Guatemala in 1954, where it successfully established a coup d etat to remove Jacobo Arbenz from power. • 10. Chaffee s Cosmological Argument Per Chaffee, the cosmological argument examines the orderly, coherent, and intelligible nature of the cosmos and examines the proofs that are given by science and philosophers for God to have designed the universe (Chaffee 338). He states that in the cosmological argument, the universe is contingent or dependent on God to create it because upon examination of the universe, everything owes its existence to something else; following this logic, for the universe to exist, there must be something that the universe owes its existence to (338). Theists claim that this reason for the universe to be in existence is divine creation by an almighty, eternal, God. Chaffee continues on to state the cosmological theory provides the basis for its argument ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... That is, when Russell claimed that the cosmological theory was invalid because that it offers no explanation as to the origin of God, I stated that it was a sweeping generalization fallacy. He does so by not considering the exception of the creation of God. In Craig s dissertation, he alludes to an Uncaused First Cause and expands upon this idea by stating that it must transcend space and time, since it created space and time (Craig). This means that because God existed before the origin of space and time, he is exempt from the rules of space and time and therefore, does neither need an origin to exist, nor have one. He is eternal in every aspect, infinite in existence. The cosmological argument thus provides us with the grounds to believe in the existence of a beginningless, uncaused, timeless, spaceless, changeless, immaterial, enormously powerful, Personal Creator of the Universe (Craig). • 13. Customer Satisfaction And Customer Engagement Essay Customer Satisfaction and Customer Engagement. For a business to prosper, the staff must ensure the customers are treated with respect. Any business solely depends on the availability of its customers or clients. If the clients are not contented with the type of service they receive from a specified firm, they will move to other places where they will be satisfied. As such, it is important, as a manager of any business, to ensure customers are treated with respect and are in turn happy. To make sure that this happens, the staff need to know how to engage properly with a client and ensure the customer is satisfied with the type of service they get. The following couple of paragraphs will help discuss and understand customer satisfaction and customer engagement. The discussion will entail the differences between these two and how each can be attained in any business. It shall also enlighten one on the importance of these two factors towards a successful business. • 14. Analysis Of The Movie Evicted Evicted is a novel that follows the story of families who struggle with losing their homes, and the hurdles they have to jump to survive. The events that take place in this novel take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. According the American Housing Survey, 1991 2013, a majority of poor renting families spend at least half their income on housing. Poverty is a major problem in America and the price of housing doesn t help. The first family the novel introduces is the family of Arleen and her sons. Their story starts with one of Arleen s sons, Jori, throwing a snowball at a car. The driver retaliated by kicking down the door in their apartment. This led the eviction of Arleen and her family. As winter was setting in, Arleen found an available room in Sherrena s building. Landlords have their own share of troubles and the previous tenant had called a building inspector, which would have costed Sherrena a lot of money. The only financially sound choice was to evict the tenant. The next person to come in play is Lamar. Lamar is a 51 year old black Vietnam veteran who lives under the same landlord as Arleen. He has prosthetics on both legs and was always in his wheelchair. He has two sons, but had constant visits from his son s friends. • 15. Dear White People Analysis A Netflix TV show, Dear White People produced by Justin Simien, is about the students of Winchester University. This show tends to target not only the Netflix customers, but the black and white audience as well; the entire first season generally focuses on the media, racial, and gender roles within the community as well as the mainstream problem of the unrecognized white privilege by white skinned people. Looking up who the producer is, it turns out that Simien is a black skinned man. Therefore, he fully understands the politics and the human behavior towards the black race from the white race (considering racism towards people with his skin color has been around for so long). Being black skinned is already clear for many people to assume that he probably has dealt with the racism majority of his life, considering the repeating themes throughout the show. Even with the title, the producer is purposefully calling out to the specific audiences in a straightforward way. According to some reviews, many have concluded that Dear White People is extremely offensive to them. While watching the show, there were a few significant and periodic themes that showed throughout the first season and the major themes I chose were important how the roles of media played throughout the show. As a result, the roles of the media within the show reveals that people tend to communicate to the public of who they they really are as a person by showing what they want the public to see them as: in a ... Compare And Contrast Jamestown And Massachusetts Bay Colony On paper, both Jamestown and Massachusetts Bay Colony were founded by charter companies in hopes of finding silver and gold in North America. However, the real reasons each colony was founded differed. Jamestown was founded by the Virginia Company of London, while the Massachusetts Bay Colony was founded by the Massachusetts Bay Company. Both colonies ran into similar difficulties after establishment. In the end, both were able to find a way to prosper. The charters for both colonies stated they wanted to find silver and gold. In reality, the settlers did want to find riches, but also had other motives. Jamestown was the first permanent English settlement in North America and was founded in 1607. Even though the king thought the reason for settlement was finding silver and gold, the real reason was religious freedom. The Puritans wanted to be able to practice religion as they saw fit. The initial failures faced by both settlements were very similar. Early problems included hunger, illness, harsh winters, and attacks by local Indian tribes. • 17. Language Influences Child Language Development The quality of language input influences child language development. Deaf children are unique in the sense that they often have a different modality of language from their parents, providing a platform to investigate the importance of language quality and onset. There are two categories of deaf children: deaf children of deaf parents (DCDP) and deaf children of hearing parents (DCHP). DCDP are referred to as native signers and make up 5 10% of the deaf community population (Lu, Jones, Morgan, 2016). The language development of DCDP mimic that of hearing children in terms of onset, rate, and patterns of development (Morgan Woll, 2002). Writing in the journal, Social and Cultural Geography, Rebekah Fox states that, we need to recognize the continuity of all life forms and value beings for their own intrinsic worth, autonomy and difference rather than on the basis of their similarity to humans (pg. 527). In other words, Fox believes that humans see animals as having both humanistic qualities and having their natural instinct. However, we need to see all animals as having their own worth, and that no species are the same. Although Fox does not say so directly, she apparently assumes that humans create these humanistic qualities of the animal they are spending time with, with their own qualities. Fox agrees when she writes, readings tend to essentialize animal actions into supposed biological behavior, such as the pack instinct in dogs, and ignore animal agency and individual interaction (pg. 529). The essence of Foxs argument is that some literature focuses on the animal s natural instinct instead of the empathy and individualistic traits they have. While some people rarely admit as much similarity we have with animals, they often take for granted that humans have the same natural instinct to want to protect their young and defend against predators. Realizing the similarities humans have with animals the public needs to be more concerned about the tourism industry and how it greatly affects animals lives. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Earlier Tish and Fonny had been shopping and this man tried to attack Tish and Fonny attacked the man and Officer Bell was ready to arrest Fonny, mostly on the the bases that he is black (Baldwin pgs. 135 138). She says she was raped by a black man, and so they put one black man in a lineup with a whole lot of pale dudes (Baldwin pg. 182). During the time of racism the colored families had to stick together. Through love and kindness Tish is able to keep him in his right mind while he is in jail. The heart that cries let it but hear/ Its sweet love answering,/ Or out of ether one faint note/ Of living comfort wring (Source D). Love is what kept Fonny going after all that ... • 38. A Study On The Mammalian Diving Reflex Introduction: The mammalian diving reflex represents a primary physiological mechanism to maximize underwater excursions in air breathing animals. Traditionally, the oxygen conserving reflex consists of three metabolic and cardiovascular adjustments: (1) notable bradycardia; (2) selective peripheral vasoconstriction; and (3) increased blood flow to the viscera (Kawakami et al., 1967). Previous studies have observed such a response in birds and mammals, generalizing the considerable reduction of heart rate, or diving bradycardia, as indicative of the response (Butler, 1982). The evolutionary success of these diving animals relies partly on the functional significance of reducing metabolic demands to prologue underwater survival. Although ... Moreover, Gooden (1994) describes apnea as an essential element to the diving reflex; it ensures not only the prevention of water inhalation, but also acts as an energy saving device through decreasing nerve stimulation to the diaphragm and intercostals. Therefore, heart rate will be monitored under both experimental conditions and compared to the resting rate and apneic resting rate. As a profound autonomic phenomenon, further establishment of the diving reflex in humans will shed light on the preservation of the reflex and its role in the survival during near drowning experiences. Only by examining the physiological response in humans can we appreciate the evolutionary significance of this innate neural circuitry. Methods: An untrained 22 year old male human subject was chosen. A PT 104 pulse plethysmograph was wrapped around his dominant (right) index finger. Connected through a IXTA data acquisition unit, heart rate was monitored on LabScribe. The recordings were measured with ten seconds of leeway at the beginning and end to allow baseline pulse recovery. Digital marks labeled the time interval of the described action. First the subject s heart rate was measured during a resting phase for twenty seconds. He was encouraged to relax and remain inactive in order to confirm an accurate baseline reading. For the apneic condition, the subject repeated this ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 39. Spinal Cord Injury Research Many spinal cord injuries (SCI) patients are suffering from the impairment of impulse conduction and they are unable to carry out their activities of daily living. Rehabilitation becomes an important role in enhancing motor recovery and minimizing the deficits of their movement function. The goal of this research is to deliver natural gait behavior of a rat through active robotics and intelligent system for the SCI Sprague Dawley rat. The advance of this research is not only the rehabilitation novel system but also the regenerative medicine novel method from the cooperation of school of chemical and biomedical engineering (SCBE). In order to reach this goal, the first design of robotic module which composes of a body weight support system, treadmill for training motor functions and five bar linkage for driving rat s ankle is built to do a preliminary test with the spinal cord injury rats which are totally transected at T9 T10 of the spinal cord. ... From this experiment, we separate rats into 2 groups which are 6 trained rats (3 rats treated by scaffold type I and 3 rats treated by scaffold type II) and 6 untrained rats (3 rats treated by scaffold type I and 3 rats treated by scaffold type II). To imitate the natural gait behavior and follow up the improvement of the rat, the trajectory from hip, knee and ankle joints of rat s forelimbs and rat s hindlimbs is observed by the realsense cameras. To develop the active system, the high speed camera will capture the rat s forelimbs for observing the movement phase. And then, the manipulators will provide the correct synchronous phase from capturing forelimbs gait to control the rat s hindlimbs for mimicking the natural walking behavior in quadruped ...
