The Last Dynasty Of Isin
From 1975 to 1954 BCE, Iddin Dagan ruled the city of Isin, which is located a little south of Nippur.
Iddin Dagan is loved by the gods, especially An, Enki, and Enlil. Because these three gods favored
Iddin Dagan, he was able to have a successful ruling, filled with abundance of agriculture, a
population increase, and a strong military presence. Ultimately, this shows that religion fuels power,
and without a strong religious presence the ruler would not have an impactful kingship, which truly
benefits the people of his realm.
Isin is the last dynasty that is mentioned in the Sumerian King List. Iddin Dagan was the third king of
the first dynasty of Isin. During the twentieth and nineteenth centuries, decentralizing forces were
strong, which led to an increasing number of local dynasties to come to power, such as the Isin
dynasty (Vdm, 90, document 5.2). The dynasty of Isin was started by Ishbi Erra, when he freed the
city of Ur and brought the local dynasty to Isin. Ishbi Erra continued a lot of the same practices of the
Ur III dynasty in the Isin dynasty.
This document, A Praise Poem of Iddin Dagan, is considered Sumerian royal praise poetry, which
often depicted and praised the various achievements, strengths and accomplishments of rulers in the
ancient Near East. Royal praise poetry can be used to analyze the legitimacy of a king and how he
ruled, how his people felt about him, and his relationship with the gods. Strong and successful kings
tended to have a close

Essay on comparing alexander II and alexander III
Compare and contrast the social and economic policies of Alexander II (1855 81) and Alexander III
(1881 94) of Russia.
Alexander II and Alexander III were both Tsars of Russia and they both believed in the divine will to
rule the people. However Alexander II is said to be more liberal than Alexander III though they were
both conservative in one way or the other in their social and economic policies because they both
wanted to remain with the power over the people. Alexander II was more relaxed in his polices Great
Reformer and Alexander III was more strict great reactionary . After the defeat in the Crimean defeat
Alexander II introduced very many reforms in Russia because he had seen how backward Russia was

Alexander II gave poor ignored people more freedom while Alexander III took away their freedom.
Alexander II was more of a forgiving Tsar which made him very social when he forgave a
revolutionary group when he came to power and did not execute them while Alexander III was more
of a less forgiving Tsar as when he immediately got into power he executed Sofia and the other
revolution lists that had assassinated his father. Therefore Alexander II was a more lenient and tolerant
Tsar while Alexander III was more of a harsh and action taking Tsar.
During Alexander II reign he concentrated on exposing Russia to the outside world therefore he built a
railway line. During this period too there was some though very little reform in the government s
taxation policies which still was a heavy burden for the peasants because they still had to pay poll tax
which was increased by 80% during his reign while Alexander III abolished the poll tax and also

Tim Berners Lee s Impact On Society
If an average person was asked to explain how the Internet worked, what would be their response?
They would most likely have no idea how to explain it. However, it had to have been invented
somehow, and Tim Berners Lee is one of the inventors. He created a core part of the internet over
countless hours of work. Born into a tech loving family, he is privileged to be known as the inventor
of the World Wide Web.
Tim Berners Lee was interested in technology from the start. He was born in London in 1955. Inspired
by his parents, he became hooked on computer science. He attended The Queen s College at Oxford
and received a 1st Class Bachelor of Arts degree in physics. Afterwards, he became an engineer in a
telecommunications business. However, he wasn t satisified with his career choice. ... Show more

While working there, he created the Hyper Text Transfer Protocol, or HTTP , in order to communicate
information between researchers more easily. His job at CERN was a lot harder before he invented
HTTP. 9 years later, he figured out how to combine HTTP and the Internet to form the World Wide
Web; the first website was in turn created by him. At the time, it wasn t very revolutionary or open to
the public, but today the Internet s impact on society is huge.
He was greatly honored for his work, receiving many awards. One such award was the Order of Merit,
which is held by only 24 living people. He was also voted into becoming a Fellow of the Royal
Society. In 2004, he was knighted and became a Knight Commander of the Order of the British
Empire. Today, he works with the UK government to make the Internet more widely accessible. The
A4AI was formed in order to reach that goal, and Tim Berners Lee is a major

Staff should begin setting up for emergent resternotomy once cardiac arrest is noted. Goal is to have
chest opened within 5 minutes. Please verify the physician performing resternotomy is aware of
procedure patient had done (high risk for graft detachment with retractors). Internal cardiac massage is
preferable and more efficient than external cardiac massage (should only be performed by trained
physicians with two hand technique).
g. If patient paced prior to cardiac arrest with functioning epicardial pacing wires and the rhythm
shows PEA with paced rhythm, the pacing spikes may be masking Ventricular Fibrillation. Detach
pacing wires from pacemaker to assess underlying rhythm.

Osteoporosis Is An Age Related Disease Of The Skeletal System
Introduction:
Osteoporosis is an age related disease of the skeletal system characterized by both low bone mass and
bone structural degeneration (Nunes, 2011). Understanding osteoporosis is important because it is
continues to be overlooked and undertreated, causing high numbers of bone fractures each year in the
elderly, these bone fractures can be debilitating or even life threatening (Eastell, 2009). Osteoporosis
manifests when an imbalance between bone resorption and bone rebuilding occurs this is due to
changes in osteoclast and osteoblast activity. I chose this topic because osteoporosis affects millions of
people, and research will allow me to better understand this common yet complex, and very perilous
bone disease.
Types:
There are two types of osteoporosis, primary and secondary. Primary osteoporosis is more common
and has no direct cause. It is usually more prevalent in women who are postmenopausal where the rate
of bone loss increases while the rate of bone regeneration decreases. Secondary osteoporosis, unlike
primary, has a direct cause, such as an illness like leukemia, cushings syndrome, or type 1 diabetes.
These diseases cause an increase in bone resorption, and weakening of the bones.
Pathophysiology:
Bones are made up of two layers, the trabecular and cortical layers. The trabecular layer is internal and
spongy like, where the cortical layer is external and more compact. These layers are continuously
broken down and reformed by two cells known as

Assessing The Nutrient Advantage And The Underlying...
Assessing Economic Benefit of Various Lupin Management Methods
This study aimed to assess the nutrient advantage and the underlying economic benefit of brown
manuring vs. green manuring of three different lupin cultivars for boosting soil nitrogen reserves for
the following crop. Fertiliser input costs continue to escalate as a result of market demand and coupled
with the increasing herbicide resistant issues; producers are turning to the increasingly popular tool of
manuring crops in an attempt to manage the two different problems in today s farming systems. We
chose to assess three lupin cultivars relevant to Western Australian cropping systems; Belara (Lupinus
angustofolius), Albus (Lupinus albus) and Andromeda (Lupinus albus). ... Show more content on

Brown manuring is becoming more common and is the no till form of green manuring, the option to
use a nonselective herbicide to spray out the crop and the weeds at flowering instead of cultivation
(Peltzer 2014) (Patterson et al. 2013). The option to double knock weeds provides good weed kill,
whilst standing residues help maintain soil structure and reduce moisture loss (Peltzer 2014)
(Patterson 2012).
Methods
Prior to sowing the trial area was fertilised on the 14th of May with the product, Nitrphoska Perfect at
350kg/ha with a package consisting of: N(15):P(2.2):K(16.6):S(8.1):Mg(1.2):Ca(8)+Trace Super
Phosphate at 220kg/ha P(9.1): S(10.5): Ca(20). The total nutrients of the soil: N (53)*: P (27.7): K
(58): S (31): Mg (4.2): Ca (50.3) + Trace had enough available nitrogen to feed the equivalent of a two
tonne wheat crop yield. Lupins cultivars were planted at twelve inch spacing s on the 11th of June.
Trial design allowed for a buffer at either end of the plots to not affect the trial itself. For each of the
three cultivars the treatments were randomised and were replicated to increase reliability of results
(view figure 1). Each of the plot sizes were 1m in length and contained three windrows of each
cultivar. Soil tests were taken from each individual cultivar in each plot on the 12th of August to test
for nitrate levels. Lupins were then

Examples Of Pestle Analysis On Business
4.0 PESTEL Analysis POLITICAL The political environment in a country affects its business
environment which in turn, affects the performance of a business organization. (Asdullah, M. et al,
2015). A lack of political stability in a country causes negative effects on business operations.
Therefore, businesses strive to enter countries that are relatively politically stable. The Beri Index is a
tool that measures the risk to a business by rating a country s political stability inter alia. The United
Kingdom s (UK) political stability was rated at an index of 3, which is above average, making it an
ideal country to operate in (Online.uwl.ac.uk, n.d.). The recent Brexit move, i.e. Britain s exit from the
European Union (EU), is another factor that has impacted Mc Donald s operations in the UK. They no
longer benefit from tax exemptions which automatically drove up prices of imported raw materials
(Krasniqi, F. 2017). They have responded to this change by collaborating with designer Julian Mac

Mc Donald s adopted an e business strategy to respond to such demands by launching a digital
ordering platform upgrading its restaurants with its experience of the future (Kim, T. 2017). This
experience includes touch screen self serve kiosks, tablets installed at tables, so customers can play the
latest games or check their emails freely as well as charging ports for mobile phones (Wright, J. 2015).
They have also partnered with UberEats to provide moped and bicycle delivery services between 7am
to 2am for a fee of £2.50 (Titcomb, J. 2017). Such strategy has reduced their cost of traditional
advertising and created an additional revenue stream with delivery fees and tips accounting for 10% of
sales (Gerrard, B. 2017).

Cloud Computing And The Cloud Essay
INTRODUCTION The definition of the Cloud Computing is broad enough to cover everything such
as web search and photo sharing to social networking etc. Perhaps the key point is simply that cloud
computing resources should be accessible by the customers/end users anytime, anywhere, and from
any platform over internet on pay for use basis. Broadly, the cloud can be described as on demand
computing, fix anyone with a network connection. Access to applications and data anywhere, anytime
from any device is the potential outcome. The cloud refers to wide area networks, generally the intent
from which remote computing resources are shared as shown in the Fig 1.1. The cloud reduces costs
and complexity and provides scalability. The biggest advantage that the cloud brings is to reduce costs
and improve efficiency. An institution can rely on the pay as you go characteristic of the three pillars
of cloud: PaaS and Saas. Ease of maintenance increase efficiency as the pain of maintaining the
software is now shifted to the cloud service provider. Cloud computing customers do not need to own
the physical infrastructure; rather they use the resources from a third party provider on rental basis.
This helps them to avoid huge effort for the setup of the infrastructure. The End user consumes the
resources as a service and pay only for resources that they consume. Most cloud computing
infrastructure consists of

years later, the Game Boy was released and gained a massive amount of popularity and would be

In 1990 The Super Famicom was released in Japan and a year later in the west under the name Super
Nintendo Entertainment System . It was a successor to the NES and had 16 bit graphics compared to
the NES s 8 bit. At that time, Sega had rivalled against Nintendo their Sega Genesis as well as with
their mascots, Sonic against Mario. Throughout the same year, Nintendo had agreed with Sony to
make a console but the two did not see eye to eye which eventually led to Nintendo backing away
from the contract and five years later, The Sony Playstation was released.
Four months prior to the Sony s first console release, The Sega Saturn hit store shelves for a retail

earlier than video game developers had anticipated, it ended up lacking games upon release and
therefore did not end up selling well. In 1995, Sony would end up selling their

The Genius Of Fitzgerald By F. Scott Fitzgerald

24 January 2016
The Genius of Fitzgerald In order to spot a literary genius, it is necessary for one to first define the
word literary genius. What makes a literary genius? Though a broad term that can be applied to many
situations, a literary genius can best be described as an author who has a timeless impact on literature
with themes that resonate with every kind of person. F. Scott Fitzgerald, along with several others, is
the epitome of a literary genius. Fitzgerald s works like This Side of Paradise and Tender is the Night
are both great stories and, in a deeper and more analytical context, works that reflect the reality of the
world. The world isn t in the most ideal state, and Fitzgerald knows that. From describing the
lonesome life of wealth and riches to examining how people feel about romance, Fitzgerald s works
will always be applicable to life.
In This Side of Paradise, the main character, Amory Blaine, is essentially on a quest to find values that
suit him. Throughout every aspect of life, Blaine is found repeatedly trying and failing different
methods of living. Blaine was raised in a very unconventional environment. Due to this, Blaine is seen
trying to counter this upbringing by acting in a conventional manner. This is first observed when
Blaine comes back to Beatrice after a 2 year separation. No, Beatrice. I enjoyed them. I adapted
myself to the bourgeoisie. I became conventional. (Paradise ?). With that in

Tokugawa Regime Research Paper
The Tokugawa regime controlled Japan by means of strict power and influence for an extended period
of time. Following the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, Ieyasu is named shogun which marks the official
start of Tokugawa rule. The Tokugawa regime would last until 1868 and exercised its control in both
an authoritative and idealogical manner. The regime was strict and orderly relying heavily on Shi no
ko sho (social hierarchy). At the top of the social order were the lords and samurai s, which would be
followed by peasants, artisans, and merchants (SPAM). It was expected of those in the lower class s to
obey and follow the people of higher status and respect the current structure of the Tokugawa regime.
The Bakufu, was also put in place under the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The leaders of the Tokugawa regime were able to implement a variety of idealogical apparatuses for
controlling their people. First, is shi no ko sho which is the hierarchal system with the lords and
samurai s at the top and merchants and lower class civilians at the bottom. The idea of SPAM created
a disconnect between classes along with not allowing much of any social mobility at this time. The
five relationships governing the ruler and the subject, father and son, husband and wife, older brother
and younger brother, and friend and friend have been in existence from olden days to the present time.
Second, is Sankin Kotai, this was an alternate attendance system of the Tokugawa period that aimed at
strengthening central power over the damyo (dominal lords). The Sankin Kotai also benefited the
Tokugawa government and made it difficult for uprisings and rebellions to occur from dominal lords
over the pre existing government. And last, is the five house hold system. This system essentially
relied on neighbors and people of the community to make sure everyone was following the code of
Bakufu. These three ideologies display the manipulation and control that the Tokugawa regime were
able to implement over its people. The lower class feared the authority of samurai s and lords and
simply were obeying law because of their social positioning. These ideologies

Why Does The Mirror Image Rule Still Apply In Certain...
Why does the Mirror Image rule still apply in certain business scenarios? Why has the UCC largely
discarded the mirror image rule, while it still persists in various parts of the common law? Discuss
whether the complexity of the UCC 2 207 is or is not preferable to the simplicity of the mirror image
rule. Covered by the accepted rules, it is a necessity that the printed composition, offer and
acceptance, make a Mirror Image of one another for an agreement to happen. If there exists dissimilar
agreements and circumstances, indifferent of their relevance, there would exist no deal. Even though
the Mirror Image rule had the benefit of being understandable and not difficult to put into use, it didn t
echo the facts of the current era commercial business. So in Article Two of the UCC, that is relevant to
business dealings, the Mirror Image rule was interchanged by UCC 2 207. That arrangement
acknowledges that an agreement can happen still where the proposal and agreement weren t exact.
Covered by UCC 2 207, all exact and appropriate verbalization of agreement will shape a deal despite
of if it includes unlike conditions except when agreement is purposely created dependent on
acknowledgement to the extra or contrasting circumstances. Additionally, although the persons
arrangements are so entirely different that no composed agreement is brought into existence, UCC 2

Key Cultural Differences Between the United States and Japan
A variety of key cultural differences shape the behaviors and attitudes within both the United States
and Japan. Key cultural differences as defined by the Hofstede model, such an individualistic society
versus a collective society, short term orientation versus long term orientation, as well as direct
communication style versus indirect communication style. This paper will focus on the key cultural

When planning to do business with the Japanese being prepared, as well as understanding their
business culture and etiquette is a key (Commisceo, 2016). The Japanese are very formal in most
everything they do, specifically in business. Business greetings, business meetings, seating
arrangements, to the exchanging of gifts and business cards are all based on tradition and rituals. A
high value of importance is placed on these formal cultural behaviors.
Americans tend to be more casual when conducting business, particularly with informal greetings and
other business customs. In American business culture, everyone comes to the table as an equal, no
matter what your title may be. On the other hand, the Japanese are always conscious of leadership
hierarchy and act accordingly in social and business settings, according to Geert Hofstede (n.d).
Barrett (2014) suggests, the difference in how power and equality are viewed culturally leads to
tremendous difference... in how individuals interact with each other on a daily basis.

Symbolism In William Jennings Bryan s The Wonderful...
During the late 1800 s, a pervasive sense of melancholy permeated throughout the forgotten, dreary
Midwestern United States. While the industrial revolution boosted the economy on the coasts,
Midwestern farmers were victims of deflationary debt increases, exorbitant shipping and railroad
rates, a high protective tariff, and a government that for the most part ignored them.1 Desperate
circumstances moved the everyday American farmers to join together and voice their grievances.
Instead of seeking federal aid or economic relief, they attempted to use the power of the ballot to
achieve their goals.1 The united group of farmers used the Populist Party as a springboard to launch
their complaints and eventually got their candidate, William Jennings Bryan, nominated for the
presidential election of 1896 by the Democratic Party. L. Frank Baum, a newspaper writer who lived
in a small prairie town in South Dakota, experienced the populist wave firsthand, attending Bryan s
famous Cross of Gold speech in Chicago, and subtly incorporated many aspects of Bryan s campaign
into his children s novel, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.2 Despite his own claim that this novel was
written solely for the entertainment of the children of today , several historians have discovered that
the book clearly reflects the culture of the time period in which it was written.3 By symbolically

The first use of imagery in the story was to describe the weather and atmosphere during the holiday

atmosphere in the area they live at, which would show the sense of sight. There was also the saying, A

Analysis of Trifles by Susan Glaspell Essay
Trifles is a play with a unified plot. Although there are verbal flashbacks to the events of the day of the
murder of John Wright, the play s entire plot begins and ends in a span of one day. The author also
extends the unified plot to create a single setting (the farmhouse kitchen). The plot centers on John
Wright s murder. Mrs. Wright is the main suspect; an investigation is taking place as to the motive or
reason for the crime.
The Sheriff, Mr. Hale and the County Attorney are introduced first to the audience. They are
investigating the crime scene. The women, Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters, accompany the men to gather
whatever of Mrs. Wright s belongings that she needs in jail. This exposition turns ironic when the

Mrs. Peters, we ll call her the antagonist, repeatedly brings up the fact that the men are only doing
their job and that the law will determine Mrs. Wright s fate. Mrs. Hale, on the other hand, as the
protagonist, resents the men s sneaking and snooping around. Now she turns the men s stereotype of
women against them. She feels guilty about not being around the Wright s farmhouse more often.
The climax of the play unfolds as the women find an empty birdcage with a broken hinge. As the two
women speculate why it was empty, Mrs. Hale describes Mrs. Wright to Mrs. Peters as she knew her
when they were single women. The suspect s maiden name was Minnie Foster. She was a beautiful
songstress. A voice that was muted when she became Mrs. Wright.
When Mrs. Hale finds a dead bird in Mrs. Wright s sewing box, she soon recognizes the obvious
reason why John Wright was murdered. The audience sees character motivation in Mrs. Wright. Mr.
Wright was a man who used silence and coldness to control and mold his wife into someone he
thought she ought to be. He killed the singing bird, which was a symbol for Mrs. Wright as Minnie
Foster. In an indirect way, he killed her joy of singing, her spirit, keeping her in her own cage which
she can not escape from. Unless she got rid of what (or who) was holding her prisoner.
As she comes up with her own judgments, Mrs. Hale

This level of rich memory relates the reader to the experience, making it easier for that person to
remember the events being explained. As once said by George Santayana, Those who cannot
remember the past are condemned to repeat it. With all the people who endured this first hand gone, it
is a rare and wondrous thing to behold an entire story from beginning to end by someone who lived it
first hand. Of course, the story not only tells us about Elie s tragedies, but also his people as a whole,
as well as, giving other short stories of how the calamity affected other individuals around him. Such

Political Corruption In The Gilded Age
The Gilded Age was a time of rapid industrialization and many mechanical advances, however the
application of intelligence to social affairs had not kept pace with the application of intelligence to
individual needs and material ends. Natural science strides forward, but political science lags. (Henry
George. Social Problems. 1883) In this quote George discusses the main problem of this time, political
corruption. This was a very significant ill that plagued the Gilded Age. Although there were many
industrial advances, the negative aspects like the overwhelming amount political corruption and the
control big businesses had on the country were more significant than any technological advances
when looking back on the era.

Muslims In The Military Essay
After reading the many articles provided on Muslims serving in the military it is disheartening to
know how this population has been treated for serving for our country. Like many other individuals
Muslims are drawn to the military for the same reasons as other recruits, such as a strong sense of
patriotism, a search for discipline and dreams of attending college (Preston, 2014). According to the
U.S Department of Defense more than 3,500 Muslims fought in Afghanistan and Iraq. It is also noted
that Muslims have played an important role in the American armed forces because of their linguistic
skills and cultural understanding of Muslims living around the world (Consindine, 2015). One of the
major challenges that are cited in both the articles ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Due to the 911 Terrorist attacks the Islamic faith has been under tremendous scrutiny and has created a
negative connotation with terrorism against the U.S. Another challenge many Muslim soldiers face
stems from the challenges of dual identities as believers of the Islamic faith and as members of the
U.S. military. Some soldiers use fake last names to avoid being singled out by insurgents as traitors
and to prevent retaliations against their families (Dreazen, 2009). Some other challenges Muslims
serving in the military face are discrimination among their peers. Multiple of the articles discussed
how many soldiers are subjects of taunts, making them feel singled out by fellow soldiers. After
reviewing the article and reading I feel like there needs to be a delicate balance of making Muslim
military members feel less marginalized without their being a risk for radicalization. I think currently
the military is doing a great job balancing this by allowing religious minority service members to
display their beliefs outwardly such as wearing a turban, scarf or beard as long as the practices do not
interfere with military discipline, order or readiness (Constable,

Competitive Advantage And Competitive Advantages
With the breakneck advancements in today s market, having sustainable competitive advantage has
become imperative so as to survive. The metamorphosis of technology has made the job further
challenging to have a competitive advantage and sustain it. Competitive advantage is defined as an
idiosyncratic lead a firm has over its fellow challengers and emulators. This lead enables the firm to
vanquish its challenger. In other words it is something that distinguishes an organization from the
competitors. For a competitive advantage to be sustainable, the firm has create value creating products
or services that cannot be mirrored or matched by its fellow competitors and thereby it will able to
outlast for a longer period of time (Bharadwaj, S, Varadarajan, P, Fahy, J 1993) Sustainable
competitive advantage entirely depends on how an organization performs in a competitive
environment. In order to sustain and consolidate the company s position, innovation becomes crucial.
Companies should be in a position to embrace the changes in order to be abreast of the competition
and hold its position (Daniela, P ,2014). Apart from innovation, the internal and the external forces
along with the knowledge management form the vital factors. For an organization to gain the
competitive advantage and sustain it, it has to innovate and globalize the vital factors mentioned.

Sugar and Its Effect on Our Bodies
Many foods and drinks around the world are laced with sugar and the sugar levels are indicated. Sugar
is added to not only sweeten things, but to also improve the texture. Sugar is to some extent used as a
preservative as well, for example, when added to cut up fresh berries, the berries remain fresher for
longer than one without sugar. Processed foods are likely to have higher sugar levels than home
cooked foods since adding sugar is a modest way adding volume and weight. Sugar also aids in
making inferior foods pleasant. Unfortunately for consumers, sugar escalates calories while having no
nutritional value to the consumer.
Effects of Sugar on our Bodies
Sugar comes in various forms and not just the white powder beet sugar we are used to. It comes in the
form of corn syrup, maple syrup and honey, and affects the body negatively in equal measure. For
example, excess sugar has adverse effects on metabolism and may lead to all manner of diseases.
Below I will discuss the top disturbing effects of added sugar and why people should avoid or at least
control their sugar intake.
 Added sugar has no nutritional value to the body and is bad for the teeth. I am sure you have heard
this on numerous occasions, but it is worth reminding you. Added sugars such as fructose corn syrup
and sucrose contain high amounts of calories and zero essential nutrients. For this fact, they are
stereotyped as empty calories. When people consume 10 20% of calories as sugar, this causes a

Analysis Of Disobedience As A Psychological And Moral...
The Disobedience as a Psychological and Moral Problem was written by Erich Fromm. The author
was a writer in the twentieth century. He did various things and had various jobs. The author talks
about the effects of obedience and disobedience. He explains that the world we live in today will be
destroyed through disobedience. Fromm uses mythological and religious figures to explain how this
theory makes sense. Fromm argues that society goes on without accomplishing freedom through
disobedience. Some forms of disobedience are acceptable, but others may be too harsh and
unnecessary. Fromm strongly believes that humans should be disobedient and if not they will not be
successful in life. The first thing that he talks about is Adam and Eve and how they disobeyed an
order, which was when they ate from the forbidden tree. The consequence of disobeying a request
made the ties with Earth tear and their eyes to open. Adam and Eve never again observed each other as
equivalents, they took a gander at each different as outsiders and additionally their general
surroundings. Fromm states that the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The three witches in the tragedy Macbeth are introduced right at the beginning of the play. The scene
opens with the witches chanting three prophesies: Macbeth will be Thane of Cawdor, Thane of Glamis

eventually follow through in killing king Duncan. Some people believe that the witches had the ability
to reverse the order of things. This brings into the play idea of fate and the role with which it has in the
play. One can only wonder if Macbeth ever had a chance of doing what was right after he met with the
witches. It is however, more realistic to believe that Macbeth was responsible for his own actions

Lady Macbeth manipulates at Macbeth s self esteem by playing on his manliness and his bravery. This

Después de mirarlo detenidamente a los ojos y mostrándole una sonrisa, le contesté: por supuesto que

YA Literature has been around since the 19th century. During that time books for
children and teens were about the right morals and their religion. It was thought that children s

The Beatles Case Study
Merchandising
As the Beatles gained momentum throughout Britain, the first hint of merchandising was awakened!
Epstein agreed to let his cousin who ran Weldons of Peckham produce Beatles sweaters with
embrodered badges (basically to fan club members). This partnership helped this firm sell thousands
and thousands of these items. With this success, they established on October 14, 1963 an idea that
NEMS Enterprises Ltd. (authorized by their attorneys Jacobs Sons) would attempt to distribute official
merchandising licenses on the band s behalf.
With the growing interest in the band, Epstein had companies lining up to use The Beatles name and
images on almost everything imaginable. Items discussed ranged from plastic guitars, drums, disc
racks, dolls, scarves, mugs, bath water, wigs, t shirts, and bubble gum. Licorice, empty cans
containing Beatle Breath, badges, kitchen aprons, jigsaw puzzles, crockery, egg cups, plates, clothing
(from John Lennon caps to Ringo Starr socks), chewing gum, baked goods, wallpaper, caps, furniture,
belts and a vast variety of other assorted merchandise was also being dreamed up.
Epstein had an unwritten rule that the band would not directly endorse any product, but through
NEMS Enterprises he would allow licenses to companies who could produce a quality product at a
reasonable price (additionally affixing either a Seltaeb, Stramsact, or NEMS trademark to them). The
truth was that many companies were already selling products without a license (some even with the
misleading word Beetles attached to the items). Ringo said in 1965, anytime you spell beetle with an a
in it we get some money.
The dramatic rise of The Beatles meant that some business deals were hurried along and proper
records weren t always kept, if at all. There were no precise records of which companies were
officially licensed to create Beatles merchandise (Stramsact and Seltaeb granted licenses to pretty
much anybody), and the relaxed nature in which permits were allotted meant that almost every
conceivable product was labeled with The Beatles name or likeness.
Epstein tried the best he could, however, as a band manager he was inexperienced; some say lacked

  • 2. The Last Dynasty Of Isin From 1975 to 1954 BCE, Iddin Dagan ruled the city of Isin, which is located a little south of Nippur. Iddin Dagan is loved by the gods, especially An, Enki, and Enlil. Because these three gods favored Iddin Dagan, he was able to have a successful ruling, filled with abundance of agriculture, a population increase, and a strong military presence. Ultimately, this shows that religion fuels power, and without a strong religious presence the ruler would not have an impactful kingship, which truly benefits the people of his realm. Isin is the last dynasty that is mentioned in the Sumerian King List. Iddin Dagan was the third king of the first dynasty of Isin. During the twentieth and nineteenth centuries, decentralizing forces were strong, which led to an increasing number of local dynasties to come to power, such as the Isin dynasty (Vdm, 90, document 5.2). The dynasty of Isin was started by Ishbi Erra, when he freed the city of Ur and brought the local dynasty to Isin. Ishbi Erra continued a lot of the same practices of the Ur III dynasty in the Isin dynasty. This document, A Praise Poem of Iddin Dagan, is considered Sumerian royal praise poetry, which often depicted and praised the various achievements, strengths and accomplishments of rulers in the ancient Near East. Royal praise poetry can be used to analyze the legitimacy of a king and how he ruled, how his people felt about him, and his relationship with the gods. Strong and successful kings tended to have a close ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Alexander II was more of a forgiving Tsar which made him very social when he forgave a revolutionary group when he came to power and did not execute them while Alexander III was more of a less forgiving Tsar as when he immediately got into power he executed Sofia and the other revolution lists that had assassinated his father. • 7. Osteoporosis Is An Age Related Disease Of The Skeletal System Introduction: Osteoporosis is an age related disease of the skeletal system characterized by both low bone mass and bone structural degeneration (Nunes, 2011). Understanding osteoporosis is important because it is continues to be overlooked and undertreated, causing high numbers of bone fractures each year in the elderly, these bone fractures can be debilitating or even life threatening (Eastell, 2009). Osteoporosis manifests when an imbalance between bone resorption and bone rebuilding occurs this is due to changes in osteoclast and osteoblast activity. I chose this topic because osteoporosis affects millions of people, and research will allow me to better understand this common yet complex, and very perilous bone disease. Types: There are two types of osteoporosis, primary and secondary. Primary osteoporosis is more common and has no direct cause. It is usually more prevalent in women who are postmenopausal where the rate of bone loss increases while the rate of bone regeneration decreases. Secondary osteoporosis, unlike primary, has a direct cause, such as an illness like leukemia, cushings syndrome, or type 1 diabetes. These diseases cause an increase in bone resorption, and weakening of the bones. Pathophysiology: Bones are made up of two layers, the trabecular and cortical layers. The trabecular layer is internal and spongy like, where the cortical layer is external and more compact. These layers are continuously broken down and reformed by two cells known as ... Assessing Economic Benefit of Various Lupin Management Methods This study aimed to assess the nutrient advantage and the underlying economic benefit of brown manuring vs. green manuring of three different lupin cultivars for boosting soil nitrogen reserves for the following crop. Fertiliser input costs continue to escalate as a result of market demand and coupled with the increasing herbicide resistant issues; producers are turning to the increasingly popular tool of manuring crops in an attempt to manage the two different problems in today s farming systems. Broadly, the cloud can be described as on demand computing, fix anyone with a network connection. Access to applications and data anywhere, anytime from any device is the potential outcome. The cloud refers to wide area networks, generally the intent from which remote computing resources are shared as shown in the Fig 1.1. The cloud reduces costs and complexity and provides scalability. Why has the UCC largely discarded the mirror image rule, while it still persists in various parts of the common law? • 18. Symbolism In William Jennings Bryan s The Wonderful... During the late 1800 s, a pervasive sense of melancholy permeated throughout the forgotten, dreary Midwestern United States. While the industrial revolution boosted the economy on the coasts, Midwestern farmers were victims of deflationary debt increases, exorbitant shipping and railroad rates, a high protective tariff, and a government that for the most part ignored them.1 Desperate circumstances moved the everyday American farmers to join together and voice their grievances. Instead of seeking federal aid or economic relief, they attempted to use the power of the ballot to achieve their goals.1 The united group of farmers used the Populist Party as a springboard to launch their complaints and eventually got their candidate, William Jennings Bryan, nominated for the presidential election of 1896 by the Democratic Party. L. She feels guilty about not being around the Wright s farmhouse more often. The climax of the play unfolds as the women find an empty birdcage with a broken hinge. • 37. Analysis Of Disobedience As A Psychological And Moral... The Disobedience as a Psychological and Moral Problem was written by Erich Fromm. The author was a writer in the twentieth century. He did various things and had various jobs. The author talks about the effects of obedience and disobedience. He explains that the world we live in today will be destroyed through disobedience. Fromm uses mythological and religious figures to explain how this theory makes sense. Fromm argues that society goes on without accomplishing freedom through disobedience. Some forms of disobedience are acceptable, but others may be too harsh and unnecessary. Fromm strongly believes that humans should be disobedient and if not they will not be successful in life. • 42. The Beatles Case Study Merchandising As the Beatles gained momentum throughout Britain, the first hint of merchandising was awakened! Epstein agreed to let his cousin who ran Weldons of Peckham produce Beatles sweaters with embrodered badges (basically to fan club members). This partnership helped this firm sell thousands and thousands of these items. With this success, they established on October 14, 1963 an idea that NEMS Enterprises Ltd. (authorized by their attorneys Jacobs Sons) would attempt to distribute official merchandising licenses on the band s behalf. With the growing interest in the band, Epstein had companies lining up to use The Beatles name and images on almost everything imaginable. Items discussed ranged from plastic guitars, drums, disc racks, dolls, scarves, mugs, bath water, wigs, t shirts, and bubble gum. Licorice, empty cans containing Beatle Breath, badges, kitchen aprons, jigsaw puzzles, crockery, egg cups, plates, clothing (from John Lennon caps to Ringo Starr socks), chewing gum, baked goods, wallpaper, caps, furniture, belts and a vast variety of other assorted merchandise was also being dreamed up. Epstein had an unwritten rule that the band would not directly endorse any product, but through NEMS Enterprises he would allow licenses to companies who could produce a quality product at a reasonable price (additionally affixing either a Seltaeb, Stramsact, or NEMS trademark to them). The truth was that many companies were already selling products without a license (some even with the misleading word Beetles attached to the items). Ringo said in 1965, anytime you spell beetle with an a in it we get some money. The dramatic rise of The Beatles meant that some business deals were hurried along and proper records weren t always kept, if at all. There were no precise records of which companies were officially licensed to create Beatles merchandise (Stramsact and Seltaeb granted licenses to pretty much anybody), and the relaxed nature in which permits were allotted meant that almost every conceivable product was labeled with The Beatles name or likeness. Epstein tried the best he could, however, as a band manager he was inexperienced; some say lacked forethought and was somewhat naive about the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
