2. Athenos Hummus
Kraft Athenos Hummus:
Marketing through sports
Executive Summary
Hummus is already a popular choice among endurance athletes. Competition among brands within
this portion of the target market is important and therefore, should become a focus of the Athenos
brand. Athenos has not yet utilized sports marketing to promote the brand, but with a focus on the
hummus products, a sports overlay can be very effective to target key consumers. Athenos currently
falls behind Sabra as the market leader in hummus and because neither brand currently markets their
products through sports, this is a vital opportunity for Athenos to increase their market share and gain
popularity among consumers.

Athenos is sold in the refrigeration section of most major local grocery stores placed alongside other
snack dips and spreads. Athenos should continue to distribute to major grocery store chains as
hummus is popular as a convenient healthy snack purchase. Athenos is marketed through individual
retail sales by way of wholesale to grocery chains rather than through large quantity sales to
restaurants where the need is not as high. Outside of major grocery store chains, Athenos should seek
to sell their hummus products at selected sports venues specific to endurance sports in order to gain
sales within the market.
Promotion
Promotion is perhaps the easiest variable to use in an effort to develop a sports overlay for the
implementation of a mainstream strategy. (Fullerton, 2010). Athenos has most recently used the Yia
Yia (greek for grandmother) campaign developed by Droga5. Yiayia represents old world Greece,
Greek values, and most importantly she represents preparing food the right way. (Droga5, 2011). Most
importantly her approval is a sign of quality and she approves of Athenos hummus. The campaign was
effective but Athenos still continues to struggle and remains behind the market leader, Sabra.

3. The Stanford Prison Experiment By Dr. Philip Zimbardo
The Stanford Prison Experiment was conducted by Dr. Philip Zimbardo of the Stanford psychology
department in the summer of 1971. The goal of the experiment was to witness how power and control
or lack thereof can affect the behavior and personality of an individual in a group setting (specifically
in a prison environment). It was also meant to display how roles, labels, and social expectations might
affect such a situation. While the experiment was originally intended to last for fourteen days, it was
abruptly ended by Zimbardo on Day 6 after being convinced that the occurrences within the mock
prison were immoral. Despite the longevity of the experiment being cut short, many relevant and
intriguing observations had been made.

4. “Everyday Use” by Alice Walker Essay
In its simplest form, a child is a product of a man and a woman but Alice Walker one of the foremost
authors during the twentieth century, adds depth to her black American women by focusing on the role
that race and gender played in their development. Family reunions can be times of great anticipation,
excitement and happiness but for Dee, a young, beautiful, African American and our leading character,
it was a reunion with underlying, unspoken tensions. Dee was Dee but Dee had changed; a new
husband, nice clothes, and a college degree to boat. Maybe that college degree certificate could be
farmed and hung on the wall replacing that old photo of George Washington Carver, out with the old
and in with the new. Alice Walker is showing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He is not willing to commit to the hard work of the cause and faith he claims to embrace
(SparkNotes). Walker s story is an evaluation of individuals who get the wrong idea about some of the
ideals that black consciousness groups promoted during 1950s. A bit of realism is given in the story by
some particular languages, specialized diction, and Mama s exclusive expressions. Walker gives
Mama the right to narrate and control to convey the story and thoughts in their own way. For example,
some particular language used by Dee s mother like butter churning and cheese making adds realism
to the story. This makes the audience think that they are a poor farm family. The mother makes the
languages her own (SparkNotes). For instance, she refers to her husband carving benches when the
family could not effort instead of afford to buy chairs, and she describes the milk in the churn as
crabber . Walker raises comedy as a way of improving the story s observations, such as in the weak
comedy irritated by Mama s reaction to Dee s, and Hakim s difficult to pronounce names. Mama
eventually gives up on Hakim a barber s name and secretly addresses him as what she thinks he
sounds like: a barber. The history of these quilts is a history of the family. The quilts was most
valuable to Mama and Maggie, they do not want to see the quilts as stuff to be hung on the wall and
respected as folk art, but as the useful household items. Walker is

After reading Geography Public Policy An Official U.S. Language found on page 168, chapter six. I

1. Do you think that the use of multiple languages represents a threat to America s cultural unity? Or,
do you think making English the official language might divide its citizens and damage its legacy of
tolerance and diversity?
2. Do you believe that immigrant children would learn English faster if bilingual classes were reduced
and immersion in English were more complete? Or, do you think that a slower pace of English

3. Do you think Official English laws inflame prejudice against immigrants or provide all newcomers

8. Four Reasons To Resist
Four Reasons for Resistance
The first reason to resist is for emotional reasons. Many people have experienced abuse from churches
or Christians that were irritating. Some people come to terms with the fact that embracing the
Christianity religion would mean they are to accept and acknowledge that their loved ones
died/entered eternity without things like forgiveness or love. They have to acknowledge that there is
an eternity where loved ones can enter that is full of darkness, despair, and endless suffering. For some
people, the thought of those things can be too much to handle. The second reason to resist is because
of prejudice. This simply means the other person has entered the conversation with a closed mind.
They have already prejudged your point of view before hearing what you had to say. The individual is
only concerned with defending their argument, and not being open minded to consider other views.
The third reason to resist is due to cultural influences. Koukl (2009) says, Often Christians defend
their own denominational peculiarities in a very biased way (p.158). They simply do not give any
thought to the other side of an argument. Lastly, people resist because they want to rebel against God.
As a result, that is something that man cannot fix; therefore, resisting the argument for this reason is
valid. The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Sometimes the charge of being biased can be justified. When an individual has clearly chosen a side, it
does not mean he or she has conducted an even, equal analysis. On the other hand, the individuals who
are not considered neutral can still be fair in the argument. For example, a theist believes in the
different laws regarding nature, but he or she is also open to other possibilities regarding the
supernatural intervention. As a result, both of these ideas are constant with her viewpoint of the world;
therefore, she is then able to form an opinion on its own merit (Koukl, 2009,

9. Concept Of Attitudes On Attitudes
Concept of Attitudes
In literature there are several definitions of attitude. According to Legendre (LaFortune Saint Pierre,
2001, pp. 30 31) an attitude is a state of spirit, an inner disposition acquired in relation to himself or to
the whole element of the surrounding environment that incites a way of being or acting, favorable or
unfavorable . For Morissette and Gingras (1999) an attitude is an inner disposition of the person that
translates into moderate emotional reactions that are assimilated and then tested whenever the person
is placed before an object; These emotional reactions lead her to approach the object (to be favorable)
or to depart (be unfavorable) .

The most widely used models for the study of attitude are the Model Classical Tripartite Attitude
(CAB Model), the Classical One Dimensional Model of Attitude and the Model Attitude coated
Tripartite according to Neto (1998). Attitude is composed of cognition, affection and behavior, these
elements being the most diversified order.
Since attitude is a set of multidimensional variables, and taking into account the traditional approach
made by Rosenberg and Hovland (1960), which proposes to analyze the three components separately,
so that they can be operationalized. These variable are constituted by the affective component of an
attitude refers to the subjective feelings and the physiological responses that accompany an attitude.
The cognitive component refers to the beliefs and opinions through which the attitude is expressed,
even though they are not always aware. The behavioral component concerns the mental and physical
process that prepares the individual to act in a certain way. (Neto, 1998).
Studies by Brewer Crano (1994) and Olson Zanna (1993), draw the following rationale for the three
components. The affective component of attitudes refers to the way a particular stimulus triggers
affective reactions, regardless of the information has on it, and some symbolic attitudes concerning
ideological contents. However, most attitudes are cognitive information dependent on the conjugation
of existing beliefs, that is, on how the individual associates objects

10. Gender Equality In The Blithedale Romance By Miles Coverdale
In the novel, The Blithedale Romance, the main character Miles Coverdale claims to believe in gender
equality. Throughout the novel Coverdale and Zenobia discuss the issues of feminism and gender
roles. Although he appears to sympathize with Zenobia s feminist cause, there were occasions in the
novel which proved otherwise. Coverdale s support for Zenobia s fight for equality might only be an
act to win her approval. The purpose of the Blithedale community was for it to be a place where
individuals would be treated equally, however, Coverdale s mindset has a challenging time of
remembering the goal of the community. During The Blithedale Romance, Coverdale would be
analyzing people s masculine and feminine traits. Coverdale does believe in gender stereotypes by
constantly thinking about the aspects each gender should possess and his desire for power over
women. A way Coverdale demonstrates he is not supportive of equality between genders is by stating
what exactly makes a woman. Many people assume that there are times when Coverdale gives the
impression of approving women from stepping out from the private sphere. The separate sphere
ideology assigns the women to live in a private sphere which gives them the responsibility of being
housewives. For example, when Zenobia gave her speech on the various ways women are mistreated
Coverdale is quick to show his admiration for women to hold power. Coverdale states, For instance, I
should love dearly for the next thousands

11. Benefits Of Raising Minimum Wage
Creating jobs, raising minimum wage, donating to the poor are not going to erase the poverty out of
the United States of America. The government defines poverty as the bottom fifteen percent of annual
income. No matter what one does to increase a person s income there will always be someone in
poverty. Across America there are always charities, religious groups, and civic clubs who are giving to
the poor from food giveaways, clothing giveaways, free tutoring, free health screenings, whatever else
there is constantly something for the poor to benefit from. The problem is that people want to help, but

If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime ( Chinese par. 1). This ancient proverb has some
truth in it. Right now in America, the poor are not being taught how to fish instead they are relying on
charities to give away food and clothing for them to survive. Through work readiness programs and a
reform in food and clothing distribution, charities can cut the parasite of the dependent poor and
prepare them to go out and earn what they need. Job preparation programs are an excellent way to
minister the poor and needy by preparing them for the future and empowering them to be able to take
care of themselves. In Seat Pleasant, Maryland, the Training Source offers job training program, self
improvement workshops, and skill training. The Training Source is teaching those who do not have
jobs, job skills which will equip them and help them to find a job (Singletary par. 9). Once the poor
and needy have a job, they will not need to rely on donations of food and clothing to survive. In my

12. Case Study Of Agarwood
Introduction
As stated by the case study, we have just begun our new jobs as the conservationist of Aquilaria
malaccensis in Sarawak. So, what is conservationist? Firstly, conservationist is a person who works to
protect and preserve animals, plants, and natural resources. Meanwhile, A. malaccensis is a large
evergreen tree which can be found in mixed forest habitat usually 0 to 1000m above the sea level.
Thus, as the conservationist of A. malaccensis, we are the people who are responsible to protect and
preserve the A. malaccensis.
In addition, A. malaccensis is in the family Thymelacaeaceae where it is one of 15 tree species in the
genus Aquilaria. This species can be found in South and Southeast Asia which includes Malaysia,

The local sectors such as () have to find efforts to overcome the high demand of agarwood s product.
Scientists from the sector need to do a research on the tree so that it can be cultivated in large scale
yield (Mohd. Paiz, K. 2006). Thus, production of the agarwood product can be increased, and at the
same time the Aquilaria trees can be conserved.
Question 5 One of the important requirements for a successful germplasm collecting mission is
planning. Planning is the essential to the success because detailed information about the target species
should be collected such as the distribution of the Aquilaria species, genetic variation within target
species, breeding system, seed storage characteristics, collecting techniques and background
information on physical, biotic and human environment. A collecting programme must have its own
flexibility. This is to allow missions to be undertaken or postponed at relatively short notice. The
mission also should be flexible enough to make changes in the itinerary at short notice in the

Electromagnetism is the branch of physics that studies the relationship between electricity and
magnetism. Electromagnets are magnets that uses an electric current to attract metal. Electromagnets
have many parts that make up them and are used in many things.
Electromagnetism has a history that dates back over 200 years. The year 1700 was the first
demonstration of an electromagnet, yet scientists didn t know much about electromagnetism (Bellis 1).
In 1820, scientists had just started to get deep into electromagnets, Hans Oersted discovered that a
conductor carrying an electric current was surrounded by a magnetic field (Bellis 2). Hans Oersted
discovered this because his compass reacted to a battery when he connected them using wires. ...

A cyclotron is a device used for scientific research in which subatomic charged particles are

which modern physics could have grown to its present extent. A typical magnet consists of iron,
nickel, and steel. All magnets have a north and south pole, the opposite poles are attracted to each
other and similar poles repel each other. A magnet is something that attracts metal. There are many
types of magnets, there are, ceramic, alnico, neodymium, samarium, and of course, electromagnets

magnetic field of itself. Each domain is a tiny magnet. Each domain has magnetic domains pointing in
different directions, canceling each other out (Wilson 2007). Magnets range from weak magnets, to
strong magnets that can even lift a car. The strength of a magnet depends on how hard it is to
magnetize it (Wilson 2007). Magnets are made by rubbing a permanent magnet along a piece metal
for a long time repeatedly. When the same poles touch each other, magnetic lines clash together. To

Journalists and other nonfiction writers alike occasionally provide accounts of real life traditions and
events that occur in various cultures. These important events are often emphasized by underlining
them through sequential and descriptive structure, along with direct quotations from the participants of
the event. In the news article, Quinceanera Birthday Bash Preserves Tradition, Marks Passage to
Womanhood , author Natalie St. John uses the aforementioned to highlight and depict the details of a
quinceañera and its significance in the Mexican culture and community. St. John s use of structural
sequence makes the text organized and easy to follow. This enables the reader to see the scope of a
quinceanera and understand the main idea the author is highlighting about quinceaneras by using the

quince means to her, without the interference of a misinterpretation from the author if it were not a
direct quote. Additionally, a segment from Tornoe shows what the hosting of quince might mean in
terms of class and wealth to an outsider of the culture: If you are from humble beginnings, to a certain

Disney Cruise Line takes advantage of the rhetorical appeal of kairos to get people to go on their
cruises. One of the ways they use kairos is through the description of their new cruise. The company
states, For the first time in the summer of 2014, Disney Cruise Line sails to Europe with over a dozen
ports of call dotting the sunny Mediterranean, (Disney Cruise Line 24). Disney appeals to kairos by
pointing out the fact that this is the first time they are offering this type of cruise. People are often
more eager to go on vacations if they believe they are going to be some of the first people to have that
experience. Disney utilizes this idea of being the first to make their new customers feel more special
and their returning customers feel obligated to try out the new cruise for the first time. The Disney
Cruise Line again appeals to kairos in the same way about their new Alaskan cruise. They state, We
now also offer an Alaskan cruise that includes historic Sitka, (Disney Cruise Line 4). They again
appeal to the idea that this cruise is brand new and that the readers will be more eager to try a new
cruise. Over the course of the entire booklet, the Disney Cruise Line attaches the word new to several
statements. For example, the cruise line offers all new enhancements and all new watery play areas
(Disney Cruise Line 5). In doing using the word new, the company gets the customer more excited
about going on the cruise making them believe that they will be the first to try out the additions. It is
well known that people are drawn to new things, and Disney takes full advantage of this concept by
attaching the word new to whatever statement they can. The thought that the customer is going to

The core arguments of Hershey Company in this case are very clearly stated. Senator Steve Hershey

his campaign that looked very similar to a Hershey s chocolate bar wrapper. The background was

used a design that looked even more similar to a Hershey s chocolate bar wrapper than the one he had

21. Cinderella 1950
The ability to dream is magical in itself. A girl often plays the game of, Happily ever after, where she
goes to a ball and falls madly in love with the prince. Disney first captured this idea in the film
Cinderella in 1950. One fact that seemed to bother some viewers was that the destined couple met and
fell in love at first sight. It is perfectly plausible, but somewhat unrealistic. A new adaptation of the
basic story of Cinderella has taken this concern and altered how they met to meeting in the woods
days before the ball. It was love of personality that had the two entranced. Cinderella (2015) presents a
young girl by the name of Ella that faces kindness from oppression, courage, determination and with

Cinderella (2015) kept an even balance of fantasy with reality. She had the happily ever after while
meeting the price before the ball and falling in love with her personality rather than status and charm.
The touch of magic in the modern Cinderella still gives views of a young age the dazzle of the
transformations. Disney intended for the magic to help Cinderella get to the ball to meet and
eventually marry the prince. This version has realistic aspects but does not limit the imagination and
specialness of the dramatic dress transformation. Ever After had the main character, Danielle, a strong
headed woman that had a voice and shared her opinion to her demanding mother. Although it does an
exemplary job of giving her a voice against her mother, there seemed to be a lack of magic to it
overall. It held the true aspects of a developing relationship, a true Cinderella story has more of a

Tasmania, Australia
[I walk into a house in the southern part of Tasmania, it is well lit and seems to be a popular place. It
has a kind of pub like feel to it, where everyone felt free to speak for what they feel. It was in a rural
place that must have become quite popular in the war. I am here to see Jake King, a biker from South
Australia, I see him across the room, sitting at a table with a glass of water. He is wearing a leather
vest, with faded wings on the back, a relatively short beard and long dark brown hair.]
So, how was the change from normal life to the war for you?

Suddenly we knew why they chose Tasmania over a place like Melbourne. It was infested; we where

got closer we decided to get off the freeway and go into some backstreets, reasons being that they

How long did it take you to get to Port Melbourne?
Ah, we took it slow going as quietly as possible and every night we would find a house to seek refuge
in when we saw the sun going down, we would do a full sweep of the property, clear it out and block

H.L.A. Hart first takes issue with John Austin first point. John Austin believed in a many species of
commands. Hart disagrees with Austin s statement completely. Hart believes that the idea that the law
consists only of directives and orders which are followed by possible punishments do not help to
explain the current legal systems. Hart finds value in the type of laws called power conferring rules.
The rules offer less threats and actually establish a framework for which citizen can understand and
define their individual rights and obligations they have. Hart also considers other types of laws. Hart
views laws that are established to identify the limitation and the powers of the judicial and legislative
branches. He argues that it is impossible to view these laws as mere orders backed by threats ... Show

Hart views primary rules as rules that require actions that will ultimately create duties and obligations.
For example, let say you go to Wal Mart and buy two hundred dollars worth of groceries, but you then
decide to walk out of the store without paying. You can reasonably expect that there is a law requiring
you to pay. In contrast, secondary rules are used to establish procedures which allow modification of
primary rules. Hart envisions a world of just primary rules, but says that without secondary rules the
world would lack true understanding of the law and ultimately would be faced with many challenges.
Hart defines three problems that can be remedied with three different types of secondary rules which
include: rules of recognition, rule of change and rule of adjudication. Of those three Hart believes that
the rule of recognition. The rule of recognition tells us basically how to establish and implement a law.
In the modern legal systems that is the most important contribution that arises from the rule of
recognition is it allows us to determine the validity of a

28. Berlioz Ide Fixe Analysis
The idée fixe mentioned in Berlioz program was a French term, borrowed from contemporary
psychology, for obsession. The idée fixe went beyond mere fascination or attraction into disordered
thinking and to Berlioz was more than a musical motif; it was an affliction that caused physical
symptoms such as muscle twitches and nervous anxiety. Indeed, after Harriet Smithson initially
rejected Berlioz, he was distraught. He stopped sleeping, and he wandered the city at night, sometimes
falling asleep in an open field or slumped over a café table. This disorder thinking and behavior was
described by Berlioz himself and by psychology at the time as monomania, a mental disease in which
a person has an obsession that drives them to the point of desperation and sometimes melancholy.
Monomania is then seen as a Romantic illness, afflicting the creative and the hero, and this illness

The repeated motive provided a sense of programmatic continuity as well as unified the entire
symphony. The idée fixe represented the hero s imagining and obsession with his beloved. It is an
unusually phrased melody, an unbalanced 15 measures in length. Mollod stated that this motive
represents the protagonist s complex feelings toward the beloved, a figure who will turn out to be both
his imagined savior and his tormentor. Langford writes that the innovation of the symphony is not the
idée fixe, but the way that Berlioz transformed the melody through cyclical repetitions of it throughout
the symphony. The source of inspiration for this compositional technique was Beethoven s fifth
symphony, which Berlioz heard two years prior to writing the Symphonie Fantastique. In each

It is incredible that you can make such a jazzy and fun song and put a dark and depressing twist on it
by just controlling the lyrics. I love all kind of music and when I mean all kind, I really mean all kind.
The reason for why I listen to a song can vary depending on the situation, mood, etc. For this
particular song, I was introduced to this song by my friend showing me the song while we were just
hanging out and she thought that I would love the song. And the thing is that I did love the song and
decided to put the song on repeat for the rest of the week. At first, I enjoyed it for the beat and the
overall tone of the song. One random day, it was completely silence, and all I was doing was riding
the bus to go to school. In that moment, my brain was only focused on the lyrics, and noticed that this
song lyrically does not match the tone that the musician created. The song was created by the band,
Foster the People , and the song was called Pumped Up Kicks . To summarize the song, it is about a
child named Robert that wants to cause violence towards his classmates and peers in a school setting.
When I would listen to this song, it would usually be because I wanted to listen to something that
would boost my mood, or when I m with friends and need a nice background song to play. I wish I
was able to play you the first 20 seconds of the song for you can come up with your own judgment

Destiny was a phrase used by leaders and politicians in the 1840s to explain continental expansion by

the feeling that, together, Americans would expand and build up America out West.
Nationalism was strengthened greatly through economic improvements, and it could have also been

American events that established nationalism. The ratification showed that, through compromise,
Americans could agree on one basic set of rules and regulations for the unity of the country. The
American System, seen later in history, was also important to the force of nationalism in the country.

Inflation is when there in an increase in price of goods and service, causing there to be a fall in the
currency as lesser goods and services can be brought by each unit of currency due to the rise in price.
Rapid economic growth will often lead to inflation. When the economy is rapidly growing, a company
will need to employ more employees, resulting to a fall in unemployment rate. As unemployment rate
falls, lesser people will be looking for jobs and the company will find it harder to fill up job vacancies.
This will cause the salaries of the workers as well as company spending to increase, resulting in the
company passing on the extra costs to the consumer. Together with the raise in salaries for the
employees, they will have more to spend, resulting in an increase in an aggregate demand. All this will
result in rapid economic growth, where the increase in price will cause inflation to occur.

41. The Legal Concept Of Tort Law
Introduction Tort law is an area of law that focuses on the civil wrongful action of an individual that
causes injury to the other party. The action causes someone else to suffer loss hence a legal liability.
The loss may be property, personal reputation or life related requires that the affected entity be
compensated by the cause of the damage. The concept of tort law is applicable in handling civil issues
in the world of today hence a relevant area of study (Gardipee, 2013). The paper seeks to address the
legal concept of tort, the relation to the case of a famous United States of America pharmacist Robert
Courtney.it will further dwell on other lawsuit associated with the victim in the case scenario.
The legal concept of tort Tort law is a civil law that is very different from other types of laws such as
criminal or contract law. Many cases the offense may be due to negligence or breach of duty but
cannot be summarized as a criminal offense. The party that has suffered the loss normally can recover
the loss through a lawsuit. A lawsuit is a claim that is filed by the injured party to seek compensation
from the wrongdoer over the damage incurred. There four key elements of tort law that are crucial in
handling the concept (Deakin and Johnston, 2012).The duty of care, breach of duty, causation and
resulting damage or injury. For one to commit a tort, he or she must owe a legal duty to the victim.

In one of his most widely read texts, the Republic, Plato sets out to explore the very nature of the
concept of Justice, the various forms it takes in the world, and its relevance to the lives of men. As
Socrates states, it is about the way we ought to live (I 352d). The dialogue begins by introducing the
commonly held view of justice, via Thrasymachus, Glaucon and Adeimantus, as the non performance
of certain types of unlawful or antisocial acts. However, the entire treatise quickly moves on to
concentrate on a different meaning of justice, as a form of moral virtue. He wishes to demonstrate that
justice and morality are interconnected because humans can only achieve a good life which he claims
is the best way to live if they have those things that are desirable in themselves (II 357b). Therefore
Plato s argument, as it sets out to prove the intrinsic value of living a just life, is neither deontological,
nor consequentialist. In the Republic, Plato is arguing for the transcendent value of justice as a human
good, or virtue, which informs and guides moral conduct. Plato bases his argument on a new and
unique understanding of what justice is and how morally sensitive people are able to learn about the
real nature of justice, morality and other virtues. He believes that it is necessary to grasp the true or
intrinsic nature of certain virtues in order to make accurate judgements about the appropriate way to
act in relation to others, justice and the collective good.

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
decide crear a unos humanos usando lodo y arcilla.

44. Explain The Four Variations In Alimony Payments
Four Different Variations in Alimony Payments If you are considering a divorce, you may be ordered
by a judge to pay alimony to your spouse. Although the laws regarding alimony vary by state, when
alimony payments are made, it is usually the spouse making the greater income that is required to pay
money to the spouse making the smaller income. However, there are different variations of alimony
that you may be required to pay. The following are the most common. Permanent alimony This is the
type of payments people often think of when they hear the word alimony. This type of alimony can
last until the death of the paying ex spouse. It can also continue to be paid when the ex spouse
receiving the alimony is remarried. This type of alimony payment, ... Show more content on

It is court ordered by a judge, and serves the purpose of protecting the spouse with the smaller income.
This enables the individual to maintain the same lifestyle he or she has had during the marriage. Once
a divorce agreement has been drawn up and finalized, this type of alimony comes to an end. It may or
may not be replaced with a permanent alimony. Rehabilitative alimony This is a form of temporary
alimony that is paid to an individual for the purpose of transitioning to a new life. Often it is paid so
that an ex spouse can afford to learn new job skills or attend college. This type of alimony will last for
a period of time defined by a judge. In some cases, it may last until a couple s children are grown up.
Reimbursement alimony This type of alimony is for the purpose of reimbursing a spouse that made a
financial sacrifice for the other. A common example is when one spouse worked to help put the other
through school. After graduating from school, the individual went on to obtain a professional job with
a good income such as a doctor or attorney. The now high income producing spouse may be required
to reimburse the other for the time spent helping with the education. This type of alimony is different
than the others because it is usually paid in a lump sum, but it can take the form of payments over a
specific period of

In A Room with a View, the main theme is of Lucy s transformation from a timid young woman, to
one who is willing to subvert once George opens her eyes to that fact that she is an autonomous person
who can do as she pleases. At the beginning of the novel, she is willing to go along with most of what

Before presenting the case study of students who have been involved with the RoboCup Junior, in the
Hunter region, we will highlight the growing success in a snapshot of the past four years and
indicators for the current year of RoboCup Junior in the Hunter Region, as seen in Table 1.
Over the past four years, there has been a general increase in the number of students, teams, and
schools (with the exception of 2015), with a total of 698 (139 Females participants (2012=43,
