As I entered the cathedral the first observation I made was that the congregation was wearing
various clothing. Some individuals were dressed in formal attire, which I was expecting, but

particular, I wanted to provide feedback and forward to the students that was targeted towards their
essay writing in the exams at the end of the year. I grouped results from what grades the students
gained against the marking schedule that I developed. Bearing in mind that the sample size was
small, most students attained the merit grade, with the same amount of students being either side of

For this paper, my objective was to investigate the pay gap and gender discrimination in the
workplace. Through systematic examination, this paper explores numerous factors correlating to
the wage gap such as occupational choices and annual earnings. On average, women have lower
income due to emphasis on familial responsibilities and desiring more accommodating work
schedules than men. The wage gap primarily exists within same occupational fields. In these fields,
women were often faced with the glass ceiling and unable to advance in higher positions because of
their gender. Women also earned less pay since less likely to ask for promotions or higher wages.
In short, gender shouldn t be a factor in measuring equal pay.

The story The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by Francis Scott Fitzgerald shows society s
refusal of accepting anyone out of the ordinary. The story is about a man named Benjamin Button
who is born as a 60 year old man. As he ages from the day he is born his body and brain grows
younger and younger until he eventually forgets everything he has achieved in life, has the brain of
a newborn and then fades into nothingness.
In the face of a remarkable occurrence the only thing that Button s community cares about is their
reputation kept through conformity, although having money can earn a higher place on the social

He does this to show that in 1860 and still today people care about being judged by society so
much that they try extremely hard to make themselves acceptable by following harsh and foolish
conformities and Fitzgerald thinks this is wrong. I agree with Fitzgerald s point of view, people
should care less about being examined by society and trying to fit in, and more about being their
very best selves because when people get too wrapped up in their appearance they forget who they
really are.
Benjamin learns a great deal about life and society through the story. Such as learning to deal
with judgement and comments from society and also learning more about himself as a person.
This made me realise that I should also focus less about what others judge me on and focus more
on how I can challenge myself and grow bigger as a person.
I found the story, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button very inspirational. Fitzgerald shows

I believe that insoluble solid #3 is actually Vermiculite. I believe this mainly because of the
appearance, the color, and reaction to flame. I also did a density test for vermiculite just for
small reference. The color of vermiculite seems to be either tanish or really light orange. The
only other solid that has a tanish/ light orangish color is sand. This insoluble solid cannot be
Sand because when I did the reaction to flame characteristic property test, it was glowing and if
you do the reaction to flame characteristic property test on sand, discoloration will happen. No
discoloration happened at all with the insoluble solid. The density on the piece that we had was

I believe this because the density of the rock was was around 3.0g/ml. The only solids that have
a density around that are Sand which has a density of about 2.7g/ml, Sodium Peroxide which
has a density of about 2.8g/ml, Aluminum which also has a density of around 2.7g/ml and
Potassium Permanganate which has a density of about 2.7 g/ml. This solid cannot be Potassium
Permanganate nor Sodium Peroxide because they are both soluble in water and are also soluble
in the sludge liquid. I would say that this insoluble solid cannot be Aluminum because of the
color. The color of the rock was a bit tanish and smothered with some black parts in it. During the
reaction to flame characteristic property test, the rock started becoming more black as if it was
either changing colors or melting a little. The rock didn t have an odor either and this is why I
