Swift. Both author s lives can be directly tied to the theme of finding your way home in The Wizard of
Oz. The Wizard of Oz begins with Dorothy accidentally finding herself in the magical land of Oz after
a tornado blows her away. She immediately wants to leave and return to her home in Kansas. She
starts a journey to meet the Wizard of Oz who can supposedly grant her wish. Along the way she
meets several friends who want The Wizard to fix their problems as well. One of the infamous

Dorothy why she wishes to return home when Oz is so beautiful. She replies with

Frank Baum s life can relate to Dorothy s adventures in The Wizard of Oz. He was privileged as a
child, so he was allowed to focus more on the arts than manual labour or a trade. After Baum left
school, he started writing, his main work at first being on his self produced newspaper, The Rose
Lawn Home Journal. He also wrote a five act play called The Maid of Arran while traveling with a
Shakespearean troupe. After marrying Maud Gage in 1883, Baum started to stray away from writing.

Human made structures in this film are curved and spherical. However, before our main characters are
presented with the monolith for the first time the rooms and spaces they inhabit are square and sharp

exploring media coverage and administrator beliefs on the subject of the folklore presence at these
festivals.

The outcome of the pluralization of the WFF performances had mixed reviews. Some participants
thought that the festival was betraying their folk value due to the implementation of more popular and
world artist and others argued that it was a good change and that it supported a diversity acceptance

During the 1990 s there was an apparent fusion of traditional and popular idioms which further blurred

were considered different, as the performance frequency of the English ballads were growing, its

book took place in Connecticut in a tavern and in a prison. Sam was Tim older brother and he was on
