Introduction Of The Book Of Exodus And The Judge s Cycle

Introduction to Jewish Traditions
Dr. Haus
Analytical Essay In religions such as Christianity, Islam and Buddhism, redemption holds various
interpretations. Yet, for the Jews, redemption is mainly about God redeeming them from various exiles
and slavery. Redemption is prevalent throughout Hebrew Traditions and highlights the tensions that
arise between human and divine powers such as in the Book of Exodus and the Judge s Cycle which
demonstrates the eternal aspect of the covenant and renders God as the only determinant of salvation
for humanity. Analyzing the initial concept of redemption in the Book of Exodus and understanding
the cycle in which redemption is attained authenticates God s power as a redeemer and the eternality
of redemption to those who repent and aim to fulfill the covenant. The Book of Exodus exhibits the
essence of obligation and responsibility as the foundation for the perpetual relationship between God
and his people, outlining God as the redeemer and his people as the observers of the covenant. During
the Jewish Exile in Egypt , God establishes himself as the redeemer of the Israelites which validates
his commitment to the covenant and the Jewish people reciprocate by accepting the Torah. You have
seen what I did to the Egyptians, how I bore you on eagles wings and brought you to Me. Now then, if
you will obey Me faithfully and keep My covenant, you shall be My treasured possession among all
the peoples. . . All the

Allure Of Democracy
The Allure of Democracy
A democratic system is one that states strive for, as it allows for popular participation through the
electoral process; and depending on implementation tactics, states may or may not be successful in
this pursuit. Democracy looks different across nations, as exemplified with presidential, parliamentary
and mixed systems being put in place. However, what is the allure of democracy? Herein, differences
in executive leadership and duties and differences in powers are addressed in order to better
understand what democracy is and why it is a sought after system of governance. Democracy is based
on two fundamental concepts. The first of which is political participation, which requires all citizens

They are, however, often times more stable systems. Paradoxically, the executive branch, some would
argue, is not sovereign the citizen is. This is because the president, as well as legislators, have a
responsibility to uphold the wants of the people. This is often debated, though. A major player falling
under this system is the United States. In the U.S. presidential system, voting for both the legislative
branch and the presidential seat are voted on simultaneously (rather than a legislative branch being
voted in, who then vote in the president as seen in parliament elections), and only two political parties
stand out amongst the rest. There is no split government, and no such thing as a vote of confidence,
meaning it is much harder to remove a presidential figure (they must be impeached). Political parties
don t get to choose the president (they choose a candidate to run), and though the president seeks to
establish a cooperative relationship across parties it isn t essential to his/her stay in office (Dahl, n.d.)
(Moe Caldwell, 1994).

Informative Essay On Critical Thinking Skills
Critical thinking skills are essential to the adult learner. Since this is a writing based program,
adopting a creative mindset helps facilitate critical thinking skills. Attending an online program
requires the student to research the weekly assignment individually. Without the typical classroom
environment, each student must determine what the writing assignment requirements are and how to
relay the information in an informative essay. Critical thinking skills and effective writing are essential
to succeed in higher education (Varelas, A., Wolfe, K. S., Lalongo, E., 2015).
Critical thinking skills are determined by how the individual clarifies, analyzes, evaluates, and extends
the argument (Loes, C. C., Salisbury, M., M., Pascarella, E., E., 2015). After reading the required
assignment and journal articles, the adult learner will analyze the material for a better understanding.
This process will help define the problem to determine what information needs to be relayed in the
essay. To better clarify the necessary information, the student might brainstorm ideas on paper.
Brainstorming helps develop the outline for the best way to communicate the ... Show more content on

Focus on not rushing to quick judgements before collecting all the facts. Also, try not to project ideas
based upon personal opinions. To become an effective critical thinker, the student can acquire traits
that will increase their problem solving skills. View the assignment as a puzzle that needs to be solved
to make the assignment more interesting. If the student is baffled at where to begin the writing
process, try changing the routine by going outside to work instead of at a desk inside the house. By
applying the above mentioned techniques and mistakes, the student can enhance their critical thinking
skills. Critical thinking skills are crucial to facilitate the transition to an adult learner of an online

Design Of Goods And Services
10 OM Decisions with Definitions
Examples from Goldratt
Business Experience and Analogy
OM: Design of Goods and Services
Definition: the Design of Goods and Services is fairly much of the transformation process in a firm.
The design of process is extremely influential in determining decisions relating to business elements
such as Cost, quality, human resources. Additionally, to survive in the business arena, a firm must
design goods and services to meet the needs and wants of their customers (Heizer Render, 2011). 1:
One component in the design of products is the processes that the products pass through. Rogo and his
team discussed this process as they reviewed the process of work in progress with Stacey on those
parts that go through the robot area while trying to determine the bottlenecks within the company
2: Another component in the designing products is the maximization of the number of adequate
products produced by having Quality control process moved to the beginning of the bottleneck so that
the bottleneck only process good parts. Technological advancement and innovations have prompted
companies like CVS to redesign their workflow spaces and workflow to accommodate their newly
developed minute clinics or specialty clinics. The newly developed clinics which are currently
providing faster, affordable, quality healthcare to the CVS customers has greatly enhanced the
profitability of the company within the market.

Eugene Delacroix s Liberty Leading The People
Eugene Delacroix s painting Liberty Leading the People commemorating the aftermath of a
widespread revolt leading to the toppling of Charles X in the 1830 French July revolution. The
painting is a representation of political motivation and revolotion symbolising ideals of freedom and
autonomy as well as the consequnces for others as a result of political actions. Delacroix whilst
employing saliency, personifies Liberty as Marianne, a representation of the French nation being
represented allegorically as a goddess figure and also as a vigorous WOMAN representing ideals of
freedom and reason. Liberty s Phrygian cap whilst holding the Tricolour French flag and her exposed
breast whilst marching towards the foreground and towards the viewer creates vehement depictions of
autonomy as the motive behind the revolution . ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Delacroix s use of a slight tinge of light shining upon liberty glorifying the French society s victory
and indicating a Godly transcendence upon the French further develops the abolishment of free press
and curtailing suffrage rights as the motive behind the revolution. However, the glorification is
contrasted with pyramidal symmetry and structure illustrating the repercussions as a result of the
revolution. The pyramidal structure is depicted with the use of lighting to distinguish Liberty by
juxtaposing her to the almost graveyard of corpses SPRAWLED across the base of the pyramid which

Capital Punishment And The Justice System
quot; Two Fishermen quot; examines the use of the death penalty within the justice system. Share your
views on the use of capital punishment. How does this story impact your opinion? Does it
complicate it?
Capital punishment is both a negative and positive part of the justice system. Capital
punishment can be good in some ways, for example In the case of the Boston bombings. Two
brothers placed bombs at the finish line of the Boston marathon; they killed three people and
injured 280 others. I believe in situation like these that a capital punishment sentence is
warranted because they hurt a lot of innocent people and because it was something that they
had been planning it for a long time. It could also give closer to the families that

Rid Of Racism In America
Racism in America these days is too common, and is also the cause of the Black Lives Matter riots
and arguments. My idea to get rid of racism in America is to eliminate race altogether, without race
then racism wouldn t be a problem at all, that s why my idea is the best.. Most citizens make racist
jokes without even knowing it, and even when they do realize it, they don t make any effort to make
up for it. Without races these jokes wouldn t be funny because they wouldn t even exist. The main
reason people are racist is because they see other races as different, or strange, and even alien. Race
should not determine how you treat them, or see them as. Just because someone could be white or
black, doesn t mean it s right to treat them

Summary Of Collapse By Jared Diamond
The book, Collapse, by Jared Diamond, is composed of many different societies and places that were
know to be great and to this day remembered in our history, but soon subsided with nothing left but a
few walls. The chapters each expel absorbent information about a specific, now collapsed, society or
place. Diamond successfully starts each chapter by introducing the subject, then continuing by
providing detailed background information on how it has collapsed. He also is very personal within
the essay by adding his own experiences and thoughts of the subject. Jared Diamond writes of how the
collapse of societies is executed, it is said to be when the people demolish the environment, economy,
and the population. Diamond has a five point framework

What Are The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Marbles

It could be said that marble quarrying and processing industries belong to the oldest industries of the
world. The Ancient Egyptians, 5000 years ago, knew 40 different types of ornamental stones and
worked chiefly with granite and some types of marble such as Alabaster. Some historians assert that
the Greek and the Romans acquired the skills of quarrying and processing marble from the Ancient
Egyptians. For over a thousand years now, the economic activity of a city like Carara in Italy has been
relying on and revolving mainly around marble. Today, marble is a differentiated product that is
internationally traded. The price and value of marble depends on one hand on its natural
characteristics (like quality, type and color) and on the other hand on technological processing (giving
it a special shape, polish, size and thickness). Hence, the production of marble can be considered as
highly differentiated, and strongly dependent on level of technology use.( Azza I. Kandil and Tarek H.

jeopardize the faith and entrust of millions of people who follow the game of cricket and where cricket
is a religion in India. For the betterment of cricket, cricket lovers and inviolability of cricket in India
Srinivasan must resign and ensure that all the guilty are served with the punishment. The other

Bilingual Advantages In Executive Function
Bilingual advantages in executive function In a study of bilingual adults, non verbal executive
functions were found to be a key mechanism system used to solve two or more linguistic conflicts
caused by the process of manifesting language co activation of bilingualism (Ellen Bialystok, 2015).
Behavioral visual tracking, event related potential and functional magnetic resonance imaging studies
support the argument of co language activation. The two implications are related to the viewpoint that
this language conflict management is the basic mechanism for the bilingual effect on cognition. The
first suggestion is that this effect is inherently available due to training in increasing experience
frequency. Therefore, there is evidence that bilingual experience increases cognitive benefits.
In a recent study focusing on bilingual advantages in executive function, monolingual participants
who took a one year college level course in introductory Spanish or introductory psychology were
tested before and after the executive function of ERP recording (Sullivan, M. D., Janus, M., Moreno,
S., Astheimer, L. B., Bialystok, E. 2014). The focus of this study was on previous cognitive systems
that demonstrated ERP waveform differences between single language and bilingual and that the
cognitive system that governs bilingualism is responsible for nonverbal behavior consistent with
optimal performance. In the first session, all participants performed this method equally, but in the

The most well known measures of Inflation are the CPI which measures consumer prices, and the

The Role Of Gastrocnemius And Its Effect On Ankle...
Introduction We will be investigating the role of gastrocnemius stretching and its effect on ankle
kinematics during walking and running, as well as the difference between just stretching versus
stretching combined with self myofascial release (SMR) on ankle dorsiflexion range of motion.
According to our research and literature review, this project will be the first to explore the role of
SMR on the gastrocnemius and its effect on ankle kinematics during walking and running. Previous
studies have analyzed the effect of stretching the gastrocnemius muscle, but no other reported study
combined the use of stretching and SMR on dorsiflexion range of motion and its effects on gait. We
believe that the combination of gastrocnemius stretching and SMR will have a greater impact on ankle
kinematics during walking and running by increasing the amount of dorsiflexion in those with tight
gastrocnemius muscles compared to gastrocnemius stretching alone. Limited ankle dorsiflexion has
previously been shown to be a risk factor for lower extremity injuries as it alters the mechanics of gait,

Matthew
The Gospel of Matthew is a historical narrative that provides an introduction to the New Testament.
Matthew (also called Levi by the disciples in the Gospel of Mark and Luke) wrote the Gospel about
Jesus Christ the Savior during AD 60 65. Matthew was as well educated professional in the field of
collecting taxes in the area of Capernaum. It was there that he saw Jesus Christ and responded to the
calling to be with Jesus. He references 130 Hebrew Scriptures, emphasizing that Jesus is the
fulfillment of the messianic prophecies and types of the Old Testament (Hindson Towns, 2013).

The ridgeline is the highest area that offers a majestic view of the old city of Jerusalem. The Jewish
belief is that the Messiah will come to the earth at the location of the Mount of Olives on the Day of
Judgment. The Jews use the area for cemeteries due to their religious beliefs that state the importance
of the location. There are over 150,000 graves sites that include the prophets Malachi and Zechariah,
who lived during 5th century BC. Mount of Olives is significant as it is an area traveled well during
the life of Jesus Christ in the New Testament. Several churches have marked places; Pater Noster
church, the place according to tradition Jesus taught his disciples the Lords prayer; the tear shaped
church of Dominus Flevit ( the Lord wept ) where Jesus wept over the future destruction of the city;
Gethsemane (Gat Shemanim) where Jesus was betrayed and arrested (BibleWalks.com, 2015). In the
Gospel of Matthew 24 25, Jesus foretells the Olivet Discourse prophecy to His disciples. It was the
location that the disciples asked Jesus questions about the signs of the future kingdom or the Lord.

Single Parenting Effects
Single Parenting and Its Effects on Everyone
According to Custodial Mothers and Fathers and Their Child Support: 2007, which is a report released
by the U.S. Census Bureau, almost 13.7 million single parents had custody of their 21.8 million
children under the age of 21. (2009) 21.8 million children make up over 18% of all the children in the
U.S. There are a multitude of effects when single parenting is present. Children that are involved in a
single parent situation usually don t have the same economic or human resources that are available to
children that involved in two parent family homes. The children are more likely to be high school
dropouts, have teen pregnancy or be the cause of it, and to experience divorce in their own adult lives,
when compared to two parent traditional families. Children from single parent families often have a
lower self esteem and usually lack financial stability. Not every effect is negative though. Some
positive effects include, less parental conflicts and more bonding with one individual parent, faster
maturity, and a better sense of responsibility. Why is all of this? Being a single parent can bring a
plethora of problems. It is much harder to maintain a set discipline routine when there is just one
parent in the household. This one parent must play both the good cop and the bad cop role. It is much
harder to discipline when you are the only parent. But the most difficult task of all while being a
single parent is trying to find a

627 Word Short Story
627 Words I was walking down the hallway when it happened... Last year wasn t the greatest time of
my life. My parents found something wrong with me that I had tried so hard to hide. At school, I
would feel it coming and left the classroom to go to the bathroom and let it pass. It got up to about
three times a week. I remember the pain, the isolation, the fear, the feeling that I was going crazy and
that I was going to die. I never knew why I couldn t just be like everyone else, why the littlest things
lit a fuse to a bomb within me. Over and over again. Why me? But it all stopped by the end of May,
and nothing happened the entire Summer. August came, and I entered a new school as a freshman.

Skills In Social Work
Social Work Skills Assessment A skill often used by social workers is assessment. Assessment is the
process of gathering information (Badger, 2014). Once the information is gathered, it is reviewed and
applied in conjunction with theory to gain a better understanding (Badger, 2014). The assessment can
be narrow or broad varying on factors such as, the client system, the role of the social worker, and the
purpose of the assessment (Badger, 2014). The most common form of assessment is the bio psycho

Traditional vs. Flexible benefit plans
Employees benefit plan is non wage compensation, which means employees sacrifice part of their
wages or salaries to exchange some other form of benefits. The purpose of benefit plans is to increase
the security of employees, which consequently reduces work absenteeism and promotes job
satisfaction. Some of the benefits in the plan include: retirement benefit plans, employee assistance
plans, and group insurance (health, dental, life etc.). However, the scope of benefit coverage has
gradually been expanded; from traditional benefit plans to flexible benefit plans. Both of these two
benefit plans have different contents and emphases. Nowadays, about 60 percent of North American
organizations prefer to use flexible benefit plans.
Traditional benefit plans were desired to meet the needs of the nuclear family (Cole amp; Flint, 2004),

Implementing Complex Protocols On The Network System
Introduction:
In the present computer networks are being built by implementing complex protocols on an array of
network devices such as routers, switches and middleware like ISD intrusion detection systems and
firewalls systems. In order to allow the network to be modified to the changing environment, the
network Administrator have to manually configures all new configuration policies by converting them
into the low level commands that are supported by the system. Companies need to depend on the
network vendors in order to deal with the problems related to security, scalability, manageability and
other issues. Many efforts have been done to make the network programmable even before the SDN.
Some of those are Forces (2003), Routing Control Platform (2004), Ethane (2007), and Open Flow
(2008).
Main body:
Network technology passed many stapes to reach the advance level it is now a days. The first step was
how to control a packet switched network which started the project Forces which was implemented in
2003. It has Protocols for multiple control elements and forwarding elements, the project failed
because it requires standardization, adoption, deployment of new hardware. After the failure of Forces
a new project have been applied called Routing Control Platform (RCP) which was implemented in
2004.The RCP computes routes on behalf of routers, the RCP uses existing routing protocol (BGP) to
communicate routes to routers. The RCP Convert the best route of internal routing

The American Revolution And The Indian War
The American Revolution took place in 1754 1781. The revolution was marked by the beginning of
the French and the Indian war. This war primarily took place in America. The war involved France
and Britain. They were fighting for colonial supremacy in the American North. The colonizers that
were mostly the British officials who sought the opinions of the general public. This was led to the
war in 1754 at the Albany Congress. The American s fought together with the British while the French
joined forces with the different Native tribe. This revolution is referred to as the French and Indian
War. The British ended the French Indian War that lasted for seven years (1754 1763) by capturing
Canadian key forts and France key cities in Ohio Valley. During the Pontiac s Uprising, Pontiac was
the chief of Ottawa. Pontiac led native tribes to join together and raided American settlements and
British forts in Ohio Valley. These raids were signs of the tribes rebelling against foreigners, who were
stealing tribal lands. The British forces were powerful, and the Pontiac s rallies were subdued. George
Grenville s solution was a proclamation, issued in 1763, temporarily banning all colonial settlement
west of the Appalachian Mountains (Berkin 2014). The Proclamation Line of 1763 was the boundary
that Britain established in the Appalachian Mountains, west of which white settlement was banned; it
was intended to reduce conflict between Indians and colonists (Belkin 2014).

The Murder In The Shadows Short Story Analysis
There are two fundamental characters in each work. In Poe s The Murders in the Rue Morgue, there
are the detective C. Auguste Dupin and the storyteller. In Rampo s The Beast in the Shadows, the
detective is called Akechi Kogoro and the storyteller lead the story. Poe presents the model of the
detective who is constantly sharp and carefully observe everything in The Murders in the Rue Morgue,
surprisingly. The characters in the two stories are similar. For instance, the two detectives almost have
the same hobby. I think that it is because of Dupin and Akechi do the same thing for a living as a
detective. Detectives are typically men of sharp perception and are great at inferring a conclusion.
Hence, the two like perusing books. In The Murders in the Rue Morgue, the storyteller outlines the
first run through when detective Dupin and the storyteller meet at the library where there are many
books. In The Beast in the Shadows , there is likewise a delineation of Akechi s room which is loaded
with various books. There is additionally a vital character: storyteller. In both of Poe and Rampo s
stories, the storyteller clarifies the entire story and infrequently shows the detectives and even their
contemplations. In The Murders in the Rue Morgue, the storyteller portrays Dupin s general qualities
like this: Observing him in these moods, I often dwelt meditatively upon the old philosophy of the Bi

coming off a magnificent tactical victory at Chancellorsville in May. General Lee headed the

By this point in the war, the citizens of the Confederacy were growing more and more doubtful of
their future as long as the war was being fought. Food was at a scarcity, money was gradually
becoming worthless and thousands of soldiers had been killed. Lee s army was having a lot of success
in Virginia since Fredericksburg in December 1862, but the war was exacting a heavy toll on life in
the south. It was becoming evident to Lee and President Davis so they knew they had to get the spirit
of the people to rise again. No better possible way to do so then by obliterating the Army of the
Potomac on northern soil. In doing so, General Lee hoped to not only raise morale in his ranks and the
south, but crush the northern spirit. A win here would for sure demoralize even more, those opposing
the war in the north, which might get public opinion to swing to anti war. Also, Lee would pressure
the north into sending troops from Washington, weakening its defenses or possibly draw troops from
Grant s army at Vicksburg. On the other hand, General Meade s, Army of the Potomac also had
reasons to win the battle. Newly appointed, General George Meade, had a huge task ahead of him. He
had just assumed command of the Union s main eastern army and now he must halt Lee s advance.

Comparison Of Grendel And Frankenstein
If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Similarly, if a being is
never provoked by man, will it become a monster? The latter is a question that is put into focus
throughout Gardner s Grendel and Shelley s Frankenstein. The reader learns of Grendel, and of
Frankenstein s creation, and must determine if they are truly monsters or merely a product of the
world they live in. It is very easy to take one glance at the seemingly heinous crimes committed by
Grendel and Frankenstein s creation, and based off of this, deem them to be monsters. However, it is
the actions and words of man that transform both Grendel, and Frankenstein s creation into monsters.
Both Grendel, and Frankenstein s creations go through personal transformations throughout their
lives. They both begin life as innocent creatures with no intention to wreak havoc. Victor Frankenstein
created his creature and then immediately ran away from it in fear. In reality, the creature just wanted
to be loved and His jaws opened, and he muttered some inarticulate sounds, while a grin wrinkled his
cheeks (Shelley 59). The creature was brought to life, and his first instinct was to emit a loving smile,
but he was met with a scream of terror. Similarly, Grendel began his life as a righteous and pure
creature. When Grendel was approached by drunken men wielding battle axes, he sank to my knees,
crying, Friend! Friend! (Gardner 52). This proves that Grendel s initial instinct was to befriend the
men, despite their hostile approach. While the men continued to hack at Grendel he merely held up a
body for protection (Gardner 52) instead of fighting back. Grendel could have easily overpowered and
killed the men if he wanted to but he chose to simply protect himself. Both creatures started off as
innocent and pure until man got involved. Grendel could only take so much neglect and abuse before
he transformed into the monster that readers recognize him to be. The actions of man were nothing
short of monstrous, and they caused Grendel to turn into a monster. The men did not allow Grendel
into the Mead Hall and they tried to kill him whenever they saw him. Even when man was not doing
something directly to Grendel, their

The Role Of God In The Gospel Of Mark
If you were to choose one word to describe the composite nature of the kingdom of God, it would
most likely be hazy. Throughout the old and new testament, we re presented with the theory of what
the kingdom of God is. Only to find out it is either a safe haven for God s loyal followers or a sign of
the imminent apocalypse (or second coming). Both beliefs of the kingdom of God were presented in
the synoptic gospels, especially in the Gospel of Mark. The author in this case is able to combine the
ideas of apocalyptic literature into the hopeful message that those who followed the Lord will be
rewarded for their faithfulness. Ultimately, the gospel of Mark uses writing features of apocalyptic
literature as a scare tactic for obedience. In ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is seen throughout the Gospel of Mark, the readers or early Christians were presented with the
mindset that was needed in order to enter the kingdom of God. If your hand causes you to stumble, cut
it off; it is better for you to enter life maimed than to have two hands and go to hell, to the
unquenchable fire. And if your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life
lame than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to stumble, tear it out;
it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into
hell where their worm never dies, and the fire is never quenched, (Mark 9:43 48). Inherently, this
metaphysical world is plagued by both evil and good, but which path is needed in order to enter the
theorized kingdom of God? The Marcan Gospel claims the followers of Jesus must forgo what makes
them sin, which can be considered the evil in this world. By doing this there is a promise of an eternal
reward for going against the ways of the world. This idea highlights the concept presented in
apocalyptic literature called divine justice. The premises behind divine justice is that the followers of
Jesus may not get an earthly reward, but they will get a spiritual reward for their faithfulness. Mark
highlights this idea of divine justice

Abstract
What does it mean to be a woman or a man? What is it that influences us as individuals to live as a
man or as woman as well have the feelings of attraction to someone else? Furthermore, what is it that
influences us to have those feeling to someone of the same sex? What does this all mean?
Approximately 100 years ago a German physician by the name of Magnus Hirschfeld suggest that the
brain of a fetus could possibly show early signs of whether or not a person would be of homosexual or
heterosexual nature when they became an adult. Can testing and research really tell us how our
innermost thoughts and feeling lead up to a preference of Sexual Orientation?
Major changes took place in the early 19th century when homosexuality started to be looked at in a
different light. Homosexuality started to be looked at and considered as part of nature. Up to this point
the idea of homosexuality was considered wrong in many cultures as well as a punishable crime in
some cases. Even though in ancient Greece the practice of homosexuality was accepted from a very
young age, it was considered out of the norm outside of that culture. Through numerous research
articles the question, what factors influence sexual orientation in male and females is studied.
The research studied comes from research journal articles that have been published in the Journal of
psychology and sociology.

3 Things Donald Trump s Presidential win taught us
Donald Trump won the US elections to the absolute disbelieve of many. This were people who refused
to pay close attention to facts some of which were discoursed months before the election by Charisma

We ve learned a few things from Trump s win some of which I d share with you.
1). Don t believe anything you see on the media
I was amazed at some of the fake news about Trump I saw circulating various African news websites
and the funny thing is that people believed them without doing research.
Prior to the election, it was evident the mainstream media was pro Hillary. They tried so hard to
protect Hillary while always taking a jab at Trump.
None of them as far as I know gave any indication that Trump won the presidential debates. But if you

Trump said this in his book, Art of the Deal , and it has proven to work for him during his presidential
campaign.
Trump has said some foolish things during his campaign. But some of the things he said have been
blown out of propulsion by the mainstream media.
Trump also made very polarising statements that helped to keep him 24 hours on the news, and he

Administrative discretion and enforcement discretion are the two types of discretion. Administrative
discretion is the officer having the freedom to make fair decisions about the corse of action to be
taken. Enforcement discretion is how officers enforce the laws while making sure that order is kept
within the area. Three variables used when understanding discretion used by officers include offender,
situational, and system varialbes. Offender variables consist of things such as the sex, ethnic
background or even the age of offender. Situational variables are considered to be how serious the
offense is, such as a minor speeding violation compared to a hit and run. System variables are
described as the relationship the offender has to certain groups of people, such as if they are a relative

The Superior Parenting Style Of Parenting
The Superior Parenting Style In society, a child s character can often be a direct reflection of his or her
parents. Not the parents themselves, but rather their style of parenting is what is often seen as wrong
or sub par to other parenting styles. An example of this would be the differences between opposite
techniques utilized by Chinese and Western parents. However, neither the Chinese nor the Western
style of parenting provides the maximum amount of happiness and structure in a child s life. Rather a
fusion of the two parenting styles designs an environment where the child has freedom while still
maintaining a level of discipline.
One common question that occurs in the world with parenting, is how do Chinese children almost
always succeed. Well the answer definitely does not lie within the stereotypical assumption of an
average Chinese child s life consisting of ping pong, karate, and casually playing the piano. In contrast
to belief, a leisurely structured childhood is the exact opposite of what most Chinese children endure
during the early stages of their life. Demanding success, Chinese parents expect nothing but
excellence from the time you exit the womb. Chinese parents enforce strict rules and guidelines for
their children to follow, and do not shy away in their punctuality whatsoever.
In contrast to the harsh parenting Chinese children receive, the Western style of parenting offers
freedom. Allowing children to chose their own path in life, Western

Carl Sandburg, A Zealot for Chicago
Carl Sandburg was a three time Pulitzer prize winning poet, writer, and editor. As he was growing up,
Sandburg s family struggled with poverty, which engendered him to drop out of school early in his
teens to help contribute to his financially strained family. Sandburg was convinced by a man that
served with him during the Spanish American war, that he should attend Lombard College; Sandburg
took his advice and completed four years at Lombard. After getting his education he moved to
Chicago and obtained a job from Chicago Daily News, as an editorial writer. Sandburg s works
emulated his literary influence, Walt Whitman; both poets wrote in free verse. In 1914, Sandburg
published his poem Chicago then two years later, integrated the poem along with various other poems
relating to the city, and titled it Chicago Poems.
In the poem Chicago, Sandburg commences his poem by naming various titles such as Hog Butcher
for the World, Tool Maker, Stacker of Wheat, Player with Railroads, and the Nation s Freight Handler

century. The speaker uses the words stormy, husky, and brawling to ... Show more content on

Sandburg was very candid and raw about the reality of Chicago and the cycle it has gone through
despite grotesque circumstances pertaining to the inhabitants. The beauty of this poem lies within the
fervent passion among the citizens of Chicago. Sandburg and Whitman not only share the
commonality of writing in free verse but shared the same purposes; both poets celebrated American
accomplishments. Admitting, acknowledging, and embracing one s faults can lead to future success, as
long as the individual remains

  • 2. Introduction Of The Book Of Exodus And The Judge s Cycle Alejandra Morales 10/7/2016 Introduction to Jewish Traditions Dr. Haus Analytical Essay In religions such as Christianity, Islam and Buddhism, redemption holds various interpretations. Yet, for the Jews, redemption is mainly about God redeeming them from various exiles and slavery. Redemption is prevalent throughout Hebrew Traditions and highlights the tensions that arise between human and divine powers such as in the Book of Exodus and the Judge s Cycle which demonstrates the eternal aspect of the covenant and renders God as the only determinant of salvation for humanity. Analyzing the initial concept of redemption in the Book of Exodus and understanding the cycle in which redemption is attained authenticates God s power as a redeemer and the eternality of redemption to those who repent and aim to fulfill the covenant. The Book of Exodus exhibits the essence of obligation and responsibility as the foundation for the perpetual relationship between God and his people, outlining God as the redeemer and his people as the observers of the covenant. During the Jewish Exile in Egypt , God establishes himself as the redeemer of the Israelites which validates his commitment to the covenant and the Jewish people reciprocate by accepting the Torah. You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, how I bore you on eagles wings and brought you to Me. Allure Of Democracy The Allure of Democracy A democratic system is one that states strive for, as it allows for popular participation through the electoral process; and depending on implementation tactics, states may or may not be successful in this pursuit. Democracy looks different across nations, as exemplified with presidential, parliamentary and mixed systems being put in place. However, what is the allure of democracy? Herein, differences in executive leadership and duties and differences in powers are addressed in order to better understand what democracy is and why it is a sought after system of governance. They are, however, often times more stable systems. Paradoxically, the executive branch, some would argue, is not sovereign the citizen is. This is because the president, as well as legislators, have a responsibility to uphold the wants of the people. This is often debated, though. A major player falling under this system is the United States. In the U.S. presidential system, voting for both the legislative branch and the presidential seat are voted on simultaneously (rather than a legislative branch being voted in, who then vote in the president as seen in parliament elections), and only two political parties stand out amongst the rest. There is no split government, and no such thing as a vote of confidence, meaning it is much harder to remove a presidential figure (they must be impeached). Political parties don t get to choose the president (they choose a candidate to run), and though the president seeks to establish a cooperative relationship across parties it isn t essential to his/her stay in office (Dahl, n.d.) Bilingual Advantages In Executive Function Bilingual advantages in executive function In a study of bilingual adults, non verbal executive functions were found to be a key mechanism system used to solve two or more linguistic conflicts caused by the process of manifesting language co activation of bilingualism (Ellen Bialystok, 2015). Behavioral visual tracking, event related potential and functional magnetic resonance imaging studies support the argument of co language activation. The two implications are related to the viewpoint that this language conflict management is the basic mechanism for the bilingual effect on cognition. The first suggestion is that this effect is inherently available due to training in increasing experience frequency. Therefore, there is evidence that bilingual experience increases cognitive benefits. Introduction We will be investigating the role of gastrocnemius stretching and its effect on ankle kinematics during walking and running, as well as the difference between just stretching versus stretching combined with self myofascial release (SMR) on ankle dorsiflexion range of motion. According to our research and literature review, this project will be the first to explore the role of SMR on the gastrocnemius and its effect on ankle kinematics during walking and running. Previous studies have analyzed the effect of stretching the gastrocnemius muscle, but no other reported study combined the use of stretching and SMR on dorsiflexion range of motion and its effects on gait. We believe that the combination of gastrocnemius stretching and SMR will have a greater impact on ankle kinematics during walking and running by increasing the amount of dorsiflexion in those with tight gastrocnemius muscles compared to gastrocnemius stretching alone. Limited ankle dorsiflexion has previously been shown to be a risk factor for lower extremity injuries as it alters the mechanics of gait, such as decreasing the amount of time to heel off , and leads to excessive subtalar joint pronation forces on the foot, causing it to become hypermobile.1,2,3,4,5 The ankle reaches peak dorsiflexion during midstance of the gait cycle. Single Parenting Effects Single Parenting and Its Effects on Everyone According to Custodial Mothers and Fathers and Their Child Support: 2007, which is a report released by the U.S. Census Bureau, almost 13.7 million single parents had custody of their 21.8 million children under the age of 21. (2009) 21.8 million children make up over 18% of all the children in the U.S. There are a multitude of effects when single parenting is present. Children that are involved in a single parent situation usually don t have the same economic or human resources that are available to children that involved in two parent family homes. The children are more likely to be high school dropouts, have teen pregnancy or be the cause of it, and to experience divorce in their own adult lives, when compared to two parent traditional families. Children from single parent families often have a lower self esteem and usually lack financial stability. Not every effect is negative though. Some positive effects include, less parental conflicts and more bonding with one individual parent, faster maturity, and a better sense of responsibility. Why is all of this? Being a single parent can bring a plethora of problems. It is much harder to maintain a set discipline routine when there is just one parent in the household. This one parent must play both the good cop and the bad cop role. It is much harder to discipline when you are the only parent. In order to allow the network to be modified to the changing environment, the network Administrator have to manually configures all new configuration policies by converting them into the low level commands that are supported by the system. Companies need to depend on the network vendors in order to deal with the problems related to security, scalability, manageability and other issues. It was becoming evident to Lee and President Davis so they knew they had to get the spirit of the people to rise again. No better possible way to do so then by obliterating the Army of the Potomac on northern soil. In doing so, General Lee hoped to not only raise morale in his ranks and the south, but crush the northern spirit. A win here would for sure demoralize even more, those opposing the war in the north, which might get public opinion to swing to anti war. Also, Lee would pressure the north into sending troops from Washington, weakening its defenses or possibly draw troops from Grant s army at Vicksburg. On the other hand, General Meade s, Army of the Potomac also had reasons to win the battle. Newly appointed, General George Meade, had a huge task ahead of him. • 34. Comparison Of Grendel And Frankenstein If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Similarly, if a being is never provoked by man, will it become a monster? The latter is a question that is put into focus throughout Gardner s Grendel and Shelley s Frankenstein. The reader learns of Grendel, and of Frankenstein s creation, and must determine if they are truly monsters or merely a product of the world they live in. It is very easy to take one glance at the seemingly heinous crimes committed by Grendel and Frankenstein s creation, and based off of this, deem them to be monsters. However, it is the actions and words of man that transform both Grendel, and Frankenstein s creation into monsters. Both Grendel, and Frankenstein s creations go through personal transformations throughout their lives. They both begin life as innocent creatures with no intention to wreak havoc. Victor Frankenstein created his creature and then immediately ran away from it in fear. In reality, the creature just wanted to be loved and His jaws opened, and he muttered some inarticulate sounds, while a grin wrinkled his cheeks (Shelley 59). The creature was brought to life, and his first instinct was to emit a loving smile, but he was met with a scream of terror. Similarly, Grendel began his life as a righteous and pure creature. When Grendel was approached by drunken men wielding battle axes, he sank to my knees, crying, Friend! Friend! (Gardner 52). This proves that Grendel s initial instinct was to befriend the men, despite their hostile approach. While the men continued to hack at Grendel he merely held up a body for protection (Gardner 52) instead of fighting back. Grendel could have easily overpowered and killed the men if he wanted to but he chose to simply protect himself. Both creatures started off as innocent and pure until man got involved. Grendel could only take so much neglect and abuse before he transformed into the monster that readers recognize him to be. The actions of man were nothing short of monstrous, and they caused Grendel to turn into a monster. The men did not allow Grendel into the Mead Hall and they tried to kill him whenever they saw him. Both beliefs of the kingdom of God were presented in the synoptic gospels, especially in the Gospel of Mark. This is seen throughout the Gospel of Mark, the readers or early Christians were presented with the mindset that was needed in order to enter the kingdom of God. If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life maimed than to have two hands and go to hell, to the unquenchable fire. And if your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life lame than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to stumble, tear it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell where their worm never dies, and the fire is never quenched, (Mark 9:43 48). Inherently, this metaphysical world is plagued by both evil and good, but which path is needed in order to enter the theorized kingdom of God? The Marcan Gospel claims the followers of Jesus must forgo what makes them sin, which can be considered the evil in this world. By doing this there is a promise of an eternal reward for going against the ways of the world. This idea highlights the concept presented in apocalyptic literature called divine justice. Not the parents themselves, but rather their style of parenting is what is often seen as wrong or sub par to other parenting styles. An example of this would be the differences between opposite techniques utilized by Chinese and Western parents. However, neither the Chinese nor the Western style of parenting provides the maximum amount of happiness and structure in a child s life. Rather a fusion of the two parenting styles designs an environment where the child has freedom while still maintaining a level of discipline. One common question that occurs in the world with parenting, is how do Chinese children almost always succeed. Well the answer definitely does not lie within the stereotypical assumption of an average Chinese child s life consisting of ping pong, karate, and casually playing the piano. In contrast to belief, a leisurely structured childhood is the exact opposite of what most Chinese children endure during the early stages of their life. Demanding success, Chinese parents expect nothing but excellence from the time you exit the womb.
