This study examines effects that modern technology/media influence on students and family
dynamics. Most of us do not need the results of a nationwide report to recognize that media have
become an indispensable component and major influence in our everyday lives. A powerful tool, that
contemporary society uses not only to entertain but also to communicate and educate, there is an ever

Interest groups are organized to create an influence in governmental policies. Interest groups abide by
three structures: interest groups share common interests and goals, they are an organized structure, and

This section of the design document will focus on the user experience, GUI design standards as well

Introduction
This report will look back on the group project to make the game Chased by Snakes as part of the
group Danger Noodle. This will look back at how the group managed the project with a flat structure
and relaxed development deadlines and how this affected the final project. The report will then look at
the requirements set by the client, and how these were finalised for implementation. Then the
implementation of the project will be discussed looking back on how the features were put into the
game. Lastly the report will reflect back on how the project went as a whole and what could be
improved in the future.
Methodology
For this project it was decided by the group to use a flat management structure, and to follow a system
akin to free development. This method meant that none of the group was the project manager, and
instead the thing keeping people on track was their self motivation to complete the project. To aid with
completing the project at the start of the project a list of work was set out from the requirements, and
then each member of the group picked the tasks that they could complete for the year. The main
reason such a free and unstructured approach was taken was that the group had worked together
before using the idea and so it was known to work. The second reason it was used was to allow
members of the group to focus on this project when they had time and focus on other university units
when needed.

With English speaking taking over the Cajun language suffers. With 18,000 out of the 700,000 people
who live in the Cajun Country today still speak the native language. (History of Cajun Country, 2006).
Cajun French was made from African, Spanish, Native American and English origins. The language
that was spoken widely by the settlers has fallen by great numbers. One of the main reasons the
number has lower is because anyone who spoke the language from 1916 to the 1960s was punished
for speaking it or learning it. Luther Hall that was elected as governor in 1912 made new acts to make
English the primary language spoken. In 1916 Act 27 was turned into law. The Act forces all children
to attend public schools where English was taught and only spoken. This made the children who were

This experience was definitely not what I expected it to be; Sterling is a small town and it always
seems like there is nothing to do. However, not I see that it is looking to expand and incorporate many
modern ideas into the old fashioned community. In addition, I did not realize how many crucial issues
the Council deals with on a daily basis (i.e. the marijuana bill). Although Sterling may be a smaller
town, but a lot of government and other proceedings go on actively. Moreover, I expected a much
longer meeting both times. The first time I understand there was not much to talk about; however,

The first is the level of government responsible. We had a discussion over this early in the course and I
got the full understanding after attending these meetings. For example, the marijuana selling bill came
up at the first meeting I attended. It is legal in the state of Colorado to sell marijuana; however, if you
local county/city/etc. does not permit it, you are not allowed to. This is the case in Sterling, but it may
soon change. The second concept I witnessed when attending these meeting was voter, or public,
