A área equivalente de construção deve ser calculada em consonância com o previsto na Abnt Nbr 12.721, afim de considerar
corretamente áreas construídas com diferentes custos de construção, somando-se a área construída padrão com as distintas
áreas construídas com padrões diferentes de devidamente ajustadas por seus respectivos percentuais de correção
(correspondentes à razão entre o custo padrão e os custos de padrões diferentes), dado pela Equação:

O custo de construção deve ser estimado considerando não somente o custo unitário básico de construção (tanto o custo
padrão como eventuais custos com padrões diferentes), mas também custos específicos não previstos no cálculo do custo
unitário básico, dado pela Equação:
