People thought it was a waste of time, money, and resources. They didn t think that transgender
students deserved to have special privileges , they didn t want to expose people to transgender
students, they thought that cisgender students would use the bathrooms in order to have sex, they
thought that if a person was truly transgender, then they should be able to use their gender s bathroom
without a problem. There was a lot of ignorance and transphobia flying around that made writing our

recommends that both come into play. Human nature determines the subjective value, which is more
permanent, but money value is inseparable from the affairs of life.
Roman temple:
Sullivan talked about how roman temples are place in great modern cities, at the same time having a
strenuous sight, sound, that remind the people of their god. Such a holy precinct shall be doubly
sacred to us in our reverence for this union of old and new.
An example of how a building can be highly subjective, take for example a bank. Just as we discussed
in class, a Bank wants their building to seem powerful with strong values.
Sullivan disagrees that banks in America should not resemble a Roman Temple. He believes that it
should belong to ancient romans and that banks can make as much money in any kind of bank. Thus
no need for imitations.
It was a part of Roman life and their culture, and that goes along with the Roman glory, thus building
temples all over resemble a roman death.
Taste:
It expresses a familiarity with current persons of the culture, or trends.
When an architect loses trust from the people at large, this is called weak taste.
I always consider taste as what the market demands, for example having garages in suburban houses
because of the demand for car and storage area.

A common argument used to disprove the existence of God is Pascal s Wager. This argument states
that it is more rational to believe in God as you will be rewarded. If God existed, and the person
believed in God, he would be rewarded. If the person did not believe, he would be punished .If God
did not exist it would make no difference. For this reason it would be more rational to believe in God
rather than to not. Pascals Wager was defined by seventeenth century Philosopher Blaise Pascal. The

There is also an assumption that practising Christians will be rewarded with bountiful, happy, healthy
and fulfilling lives which fails to acknowledge the many Christians in this world who suffer in

He is arguing the claim that God is sufficient for salvation which is a claim that he has not justified
