Energy Consumption And Its Effect On The Environment
Introduction
Energy consumption is universal to all, in spite of the location in the world. Different countries and
people consume different amounts of energy at any given time. Energy consumption ranges from
small scale to large scale uses for different purposes. However, what is common to all despite the
amount used is the impact of the consumption that cuts across every region. Among the most
fundamental sources of energy used on regular basis, include oil, natural gas, and coal, which are
fossil fuels. The generation of energy from fossil fuels requires combustion to take place, which, as a
resultant, causes pollution to the atmosphere. An increase in the pollutants in the atmosphere causes
environmental issues in the specific locale and the globe on a larger scale. The main pollutant to the
environment due to fossil fuel combustion is the greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide. Climate change is
accelerated by the emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere; there have been efforts from
around the world by governments to reduce the emission of this greenhouse gas. Some measures put
in place has reduced the emission of the said gas, however, some are yet to yield the desired result.
Different countries consume different amounts of energy, and therefore, the emission of carbon
dioxide into the environment varies greatly from one country to another.
Energy in the United States and China
Both China and the United States are the major global consumers of energy in the world. As

Injustice And Social Injustices
Introduction
Though the concept of social injustice is universal in nature, the experience varies with each person.
Factors like a person race, or gender can further influence the severity of the injustice; victims caught
in the overlap between discriminations often go unrecognized by the law and society. Many people
recognize the names Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and Tamir Rice as African Americans who were
murdered by local police. But names like Michelle Cusseaux, Tanish Anderson, and Meagan
Hockaday often receive less feedback even though they are also murdered African Americans. The
only distinction between the sets of names is gender. Even within racial injustice, discrimination is
present between genders as some cases get national ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In a publication titled Black Women in Academe , author Yolanda Moses describes how isolation,
invisibility, hostility, indifference, and a lack of understanding of the Black women s experiences are
all too often part of the climate Black women may face on campuses (Moses, 1989). The detrimental
environment surrounding these women frequently results in sullenness, lack of social assertiveness,
and belief that they are less competent than male students. Even if time spent at an academic
institution is minimal, with this kind of prejudice faced at an early age, any woman black or otherwise,
would suffer the rest of their life. In response to the discrimination faced at universities, some have
created programs to aid black students and other minorities; these programs tend to generalize the
needs of all its black students and do not fully support black women specifically.
Double discrimination and its effects are not only seen in academe. Social injustice occurs in any
situation where people are treated unequally and includes discrimination and racism. For much of the
twentieth century, crime and punishment have provided some of the most powerful symbols of racial
divide in America (Rosich, 2007). Generally tried in a white dominated legal system, black victims
often face harsher punishment, longer sentences, and unfair trials. Rosich s research indicates that
white Americans widely believe that people of

New Liberalism Essay
New Liberalism
Old liberalism, otherwise know as classical or Gladstonian liberalism was centred around the
fundamental rights of the individual. It was an ideology that the state should have little to no
intervention in people s lives and in the economy. It relied heavily upon the notion of laissez faire, and
the Victorian mindset of self help. Thrift was one of these ideas. It was the theory that any family
could support itself if that income was managed wisely, and a pension could be saved for. The key
pillars of old liberalism was low taxes and low state intervention. This was because they believed that
the people should be able to spend their money as they wised, and not be forced to send it ... Show

Towards the end of the century this was coming into question. Other European nations were
industrialising and eating into Britain s profits. There was a thought among the British public that as
long as the economy was growing, eventually prosperity would filter down to the lower classes. But as
the economy began to shrink, according to Lee it eroded the attractions of industrial growth as a
panacea for society s ills. Victorian notions were rapidly becoming out of date and viewed as wrong,
not only economically, but morally as well. In London and York, studies showed that a third of people
lived in poverty as a direct result of simply not having a large enough income to cover their basic
needs, while thousands more lived in poverty due to inadequate education to manage there finances.
Laissez faire was being proven to be out dated in Birmingham where the conservative mayor Joseph
Chamberlain had shown that local government taking control for and organised public amenities and
facilities could benefit the community as a whole. Not only did this destroy laissez faire, but also it
was an attack by the Tories on Liberal values. In the 1880 s socialism was starting to gain ground as
the lower classes saw that their situation was not increases, and at the

Life in Navy Boot Camp Essay
Life in Navy Boot Camp
By Jamaree Goldsby
It was a warm summer evening as I packed for Navy Boot Camp. I carefully went down the list of
things I could take and ensured I didn t have anything else. A little nervous I went to talk to my
parents about my move to becoming my own man. I looked at their faces and could tell that although
they were proud they were a little nervous about their only son leaving home for the first time. My
mom tried to smile but she was proud yet nervous because I had always been her little guy so she was
having a hard time letting go. After a short conversation with my parents I decided to try and rest for
the long journey ahead.

The first night I can honestly say I missed my folks and at one point wanted to cry but I pushed on. I
knew I had to do this for me and them, I had to show myself first and them second that I had what it
took to make it.
Day two and forward we woke up at 4 am with yelling and screaming that we had 15 minutes to
shower, shave and get in line for physical training and breakfast. Everything was 15 to 20 minutes
including eating; you learn to eat real quickly. Training was tough but as the weeks went on it got
easier. Then around week 4 we had to swim, I was never a strong swimmer so I was nervous but I
made it through. Around week five it seemed they got a little easier and then explained that the
toughness was to help us rely on each other and build the necessary teamwork within us all.
As time went on we had learned the entire Chain of Command, proper Navy rules and how to properly
wear all the uniforms and the seasonal changes for whites and blues. As the 8th week came we got
ready for graduation. Everyone was ready to show their parents how much they had grown up in the
last two months. Part of growing up was proper grooming, making our beds and being responsible and
accountable for each other.
Some of the guys in my company sat around the night before talking about some of the hard times in
boot camp. I talked about the hard part for me was the fire fighting training and taking off that gas

needed to make good decisions when a company attempt to invade into another market. Market
research does this by giving marketers a picture of what is occurring, what is the customer habits like,
or what is the macro environment like, then adjust their own business models to adopt to a brand new
business, suggest multiple options for entering or introducing new products, or determine if the market
is worthy to risk. However, Uber seems not doing well in pre market research. Log in: Uber s Chinese

Arguments Against Neoliberalism
Response:
As will be discussed in this response, there is sufficient evidence to prove that neoliberal assumptions,
language and policy prescriptions have in theory aimed to achieve social justice but in reality only
serves to entrench power and privilege to those already advantaged.
Neoliberalism is a blanket term that encompasses ideology, philosophy and strategy. (Penna O Brien,
2012; Roy et al, 2006; Miraftab et al, 2015). It is a term that is multifaceted and so one plain definition
could not give it justice. Possibly the way to describe it is to understand the main assumptions under
Neoliberalism. Penna O Brien (2008) argue the main assumptions underpinning Neoliberalism all
have a shared central theme, being the market as the pivotal ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Over the last 30 years these provisions have been taken away leaving us with out current predicament.
(Andrews, 2017). By late 1980s Hawke and Keating had implemented a series of neoliberal policies,
beginning with the deregulation of the labour market and finishing with the privatisation of assets such
as, Qantas and the Commonwealth Bank.. The Howard government continued the trend by attacking
wages through unions, and liquidated over $100bn worth of public assets. (Stinson, 2014).
Neoliberalism can still be seen in the present climate with our existing (or lack there of) policies
towards climate change. Our current party in office pledges to cut company tax, crackdown on welfare
and encourage more open markets, which sound very indicative of neoliberalism. (Bradley,

Gibbons V. Ogden (1824)
In America s time there have been many great men who have spent their lives creating this great
country. Men such as George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson fit these roles. They are
deemed America s founding fathers and laid the support for the most powerful country in history.
However, one more man deserves his name to be etched into this list. His name was John Marshall,
who decided case after case during his role as Chief Justice that has left an everlasting mark on today s
judiciary, and even society itself. Through Cases such as Marbury v. Madison (1803) and McCulloch
v. Maryland (1819) he established the Judicial Branch as an independent power. One case in
particular, named Gibbons v. Ogden (1824), displayed his ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The decision finally came by John Marshall and his Supreme Court on March 2, 1824. Marshall had
decided that because the Constitution declared Federal law supremacy, any law passed by Congress
should be the superior force. However, only those State laws that conflicted with Federal laws and
jurisdiction, therefore deemed unconstitutional, should be rejected. Therefore, States had the power to
regulate their own trade, such as the southern slaves, but the Federal Government had the final say,
and ultimately, supreme power. Congress henceforth could control intra and interstate commerce as
the Constitution specified. Marshall s decision was none other than extraordinary. He had single
handedly prevented further debate over slavery (for the meantime, anyhow), and satisfied any
contention with Federal jurisdiction. He had, once again, made a very historic decision that would see
itself all the way through America s lifespan. Historically, Marshall supported Federalism, as he had in
other cases such as Marbury v. Madison (1803). This would carry the country further from a loose
collection of States into a National Power to be reckoned with. Also, by putting off the slavery issue
again, he extended the amount of time before there eventually would be an outbreak over the issue. He
and the others knew the day would come, but they would deal with it at that later time; probably by
use of arms. For his contributions to the

Difference in competencies between ADN and BSN Essay
DIFFERENCE IN COMPETENCIES BETWEEN ADN AND BSN A nurse is a healthcare
professional who is trained care for sick. The key roles in nursing are promotion of health and
prevention of illness, and also education, research, advocacy, health system management and
promotion of safe environment. There are two different categories of nurses based on educational
level. One is an Associate Degree Nurse (ADN), a 2 year program and other a Baccalaureate Degree
Nurse (BSN), a four year program. Though educational programs are different, the students of each
program have to pass the same NCLEX RN examination to practice as nurses.. The following will

thinking. The skills of critical thinking, better problem solving, and development of clinical judgment

more communication skill than ADN. Four years of study makes them good communicators. Good
communication is a key part of nursing. An effective communication helps to build a therapeutic
relationship. Studies have also found that nurses prepared at the baccalaureate level have stronger
communication and problem solving skills (Johnson, 1988) and a higher proficiency in their ability to
make nursing diagnoses and evaluate nursing interventions (Giger Davidhizar, 1990). Quality of Care
BSN can provide quality care because of better critical thinking, problem solving and communication
skills. They also take leadership in giving quality care. Thus they lower mortality rate. Nurse staffing
and educational preparation of registered nurses were significantly associated with patient outcomes.

Persuasive Essay On Locavorism
Locavorism is the movement of eating locally raised, grown and produced food. Local food is defined
as food that is produced in a 100 mile radius of where it was purchased. This trend has become a
worldwide phenomenon and recognized as a potential solution to modern food production problems in
the United States. Due to the numerous benefits, Locavorism is the best solution to solving the Unites
States food problems. These benefits include increased economic support, improved environmental
care, and promotion of fair food markets.
Today nearly every aspect of society is ran by money. As a result this makes it difficult to not discuss
the economic side of something. Local eating involves essentially buying food directly from the
source. Which in turn provides money almost directly to the farmer and gives them the ability to
further improve the farm. Azeveado (6 7) cites a study done by the New Economics Foundation within
London. The study showed that at a local store the profit returned to the economy was more than
double that which was spent. So an item which cost 10 pounds returned an amount of 25 pounds to the
local economy. While studying a supermarket, the same amount of money spent only returned 14
pounds. This research shows undeniable proof that buying local helps the local economy. The
economic increase from a large amount of people doing this could greatly improve money problems
within the United States. More money would be available for public

Harry Potter Betrayal
From Julius Caesar s twenty three stab wounds to Gatsby s disloyal love, the importance of the cruel
act of betrayal in literature has long been discussed. Perhaps less historically, betrayal has also
appeared in the wizarding world of Harry Potter, as two terrible wars redefine values and loyalty
within the wizarding community. However, betrayal also shows itself in acts of love and bravery in
Rowling s beloved series. In the Harry Potter books betrayals are used to reveal truths about
characters, represent development, and uphold the belief held within all seven of the books: that we
are defined by the choices that we make. Within the Harry Potter series, betrayals are often used to
show sides of characters that we might not have otherwise seen. With the first wizarding war in full
swing Lily and James Potter (in hiding from Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters) are betrayed by
their close friend Peter Pettigrew. As their secret keeper it is his responsibility to protect them to his
own death. Instead he goes against the traits of his house, bravery and chivalry, by betraying them.

For goods and services to be obtained from outside sources, the firm must decide on a supply chain

suppliers to satisfy the end customer. A third strategy is vertical integration, where firms may decide to

Texting And Communication Essay
Ever taken the advantage of texting or video call to communicate with people instead of gathering the
confidence and talking in person? The amount of texting in this society has increased gradually over
the past decade with a percentage of over 7,700% (Burke). Since the development of communication
on modern technology, this generation s ability to communicate in person has been damaged through
lack of face to face interactions and improper grammar. Although texting and social media may
benefit relationships in long distance, privacy is invaded and the lack of interactions in person can
damage relationships. Furthermore, texting has changed the way the world communicates because it
provides an easier option for people to choose to contact people. To begin with, texting has changed
the way society in the 21st century communicates because it deprives social skills of a person. The
increasing amount of conversations developed on technology has affected the confidence and social
skills of this generation because communicating behind a screen is different from communicating in
person. Before sending a message, an individual can erase and retype a message before a mistake is
sent. On the other hand, in a verbal conversation, errors are irreversible once something is said.
Several people have turned to technology to get over their fears of confronting people. Not only does
this decrease the confidence of social skill in this generation, it also increases cyberbullying, a form of

Depression And Substance Abuse
The occurrence or diagnosis of depression in relation to drug use or abuse presents itself as a bi
directional relationship. Meaning the onset of one of these factors (depression or already present
substance use) creates an equal opportunity for the consequence of another factor to appear. Both
depression and substance use and dependency have the potential to co habitat each other in a
comorbid state. Symptoms occurring with depression, especially if they are left untreated, are shown
to have increased rates of drug use potential while consistent substance use and abuse can cause

In order to examine this relationship, substance abuse and addiction need to be understood on its own
first. Drug addictions contuse to persist on both a national and global level; it is also significant to
mention that such issues create a heavy burden on government and justice systems that deal with
them. In fact, 9% of Americans meet the diagnostic criteria for a substance abuse disorder (6% for
alcohol and 3% for illicit drugs), making it one of the most common chronic diseases in the United
States (Compton Change 2017). Such prevalence adds pressure to government systems and taxpayers
as they are, estimated to cost Americans more than $400 billion annually: $224 billion for alcohol
($25 billion in health care) and $193 billion for illicit drugs ($11 billion in health care) (Compton and
Chang 2017). Now, substance abuse or addiction are considered, psychiatric illnesses with specific
indicators [which include] a strong desire to use (or craving), and [interruption of] life activities
[which are] generally reduced to drug seeking, drug using, and recovering from the effects of use
(Compton Chang 2017) When an individual tries an addictive substance like nicotine, alcohol, or
other illicit drugs, it activates certain parts of the brain which can induce, pleasurable feelings and,
very strong memories that drive subsequent behaviors to repeat the rewarding experience (Compton
Change 2017). If such a drive continues to persist it can transition into a habit and create a dependency
on that substance. Now, likewise to treatments to depression, those who suffer from substance abuse
disorders also have a variety of treatment options. These treatment options include long term and short
term residential treatments (inpatient and outpatient), individualized drug counseling, and group
counseling (NIDA, n.d). With

Research Paper On Six Sigma
Abstract
Six Sigma is a business instrument for the betterment of a process. It is a controlled approach and
methodology for obviating defects in any process such as manufacturing, businesses and any product
or service. Six Sigma has been gaining tremendous popularity in industry today. However, academics
have conducted limited research on this rising phenomenon. Interpreting Six Sigma primarily requires
giving out a conceptual definition and describing an underlying theory. This topic uses Grounded
theory approach and meager literature available to suggest an initial definition and theory of Six
Sigma. This paper indicates that although tools and techniques on the topic are similar to earlier
approaches of quality management, it provides a structure which is more detailed. This emerging
structure for quality management attempts to improve the quality of the yield of a process by
identifying and obviating the defects and causes lowering variability in business processes. Also one

Freud, S. on the Theory of Sexuality from his article The...
Sigmund Freud s Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality , written in 1905, attempted to trace the
course of the development of the sexual instinct in human beings from infancy to maturity. This
instinct is not simply an animal instinct but is specific to both human culture and the form of
conscious and unconscious life we live within it. For Freud sexuality is infinitely complicated and far
reaching in its effects and forms the basis of self identity and interactions. His Third Essay discusses
the transformations of puberty in both males and females. Part four of this essay focuses on the
differentiation between male and female sexuality. Freud states in this part that as far as the autoerotic

It is at puberty that the sexual nature of girls becomes feminine, that is, passive or receptive. Puberty
for girls is marked by a fresh wave of repression in which it is precisely clitoral sexuality that is
affected, thus overtaking the heretofore active nature of a little girl s sexuality, and replacing it with a
passive non clitoral leading sexual zone focused on the vaginal orifice. The clitoris retains a role in
sexual excitement but its task is in transmitting the excitation to the adjacent female sexual parts and is
not the primary sexual zone as experienced in boys.
Before women can transfer their leading zone from the clitoris to the external genitalia an interval
must occur during which the young woman is anaesthetic, that is unresponsive sexually. This period
occurs at the very time that the pubertal male libido is growing and seeking a sexual object. The
pubertal repression of females acts as a kind of stimulus to the libido of men and causes an increase in
its activity. The repression of pubertal girls leads the male libido to a sexual overvaluation of its
chosen object, which is unobtainable. When a woman has successfully transferred the erotogenic zone
from the clitoris to the vaginal orifice, it implies that she has adopted a new leading zone for the
purposes of her later sexual activity. This is in contrast to the male erotogenic zone, which remains
unchanged from childhood. Freud notes that it is precisely this

Questions On Marketing Your Business Essay
Marketing Your Business
10 Tips You Can Use This Year To Grow Your Business
Here s 10 useful tips you can use immediately in growing your business. Whether you re one location
or 20 you can effectively compete against juggernaut big box stores and deliver more value without
having to make price the single most important part of the customer equation. Here s how.
1. Make an offer. The success of any ad campaign whether online or in print is the offer . Price is
always the lowest common denominator and does nothing other than erode margin. Think high
perceived value in crafting your offer. Buy a case and get a free shirt , Buy 9 lamps and get the 10th
free (create a grow light card ). Bottom line, people respond to offers. If it s a discount always do it in
dollars not percentages. A $10 discount will always pull better traffic over 10% off.
2. Stay top of mind. Become synonymous with the category you re in. When the market thinks about
indoor gardening they should be thinking of your business. Swag is great for this, refrigerator
magnets, regular and useful social media posts. The goal is to create loyalty through service, expertise
and establishing your brand through the people you hire and the service and products you provide.
3. Paid posts work. If you haven t used paid Facebook posts to promote an event, new product or sale
item you should. The cost per thousand (CPM) is extremely low and the potential reach is huge. Most
importantly, that s where

Compare And Contrast Rear Window
In both the movie, Rear Window, and the short story, It had to be Murder, there are numerous
similarities and differences that are noticed. Overall it is a story of a man that is wheelchair bound at
home who passes time by people watching. When people watching, the man named Jeff notices
unusual things taking place in a neighbors apartment. The neighbor named Mr. Thorwald has an ill
wife at home that is bed bound. The narrator Jeff one day realises that the wife Ann, is no longer in
bed and that Mr. Thorwald was beginning to act unusual.A big similarity in the movie and the story is
that Jeff is convinced that Mr. Thorwald murdered his sick wife. In both the movie and story jeff tries
to convince himself, and his friend thats a detective ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
An example of this is when Mr.Thorwald breaks into the main character Jeff s apartment and tries to
attack him. In the short story Thorwald catches on eventually to who knows about his crime, finds out
where Jeff lives, quietly breaks into his home and tries to shoot Jeff. This was very intense and
suspense full because from Jeffs point of view we did not know who was breaking into the house, and
what they would do, He d be up in a minute. He must be on the stairs now, although I couldn t hear
him. Not even a creak. A creak would have been a reliec, would have placed him. This was like being
shut up in the dark with the silence of a gliding, coiling cobra somewhere around you (Hitchcock,
1954). Because we did not know who the invader was and what weapon they could of had, we did not
know if the bust would protect him. This tension was executed slightly different in the movie. In the
movie, we see the man walk up the stairs, we are not aware of a weapon but once thorwald breaks in
and starts to yell at jeff we see that there is not gun. Jeff in this situation chooses to protect himself by
using his camera flash to stun the man (Woolrich, n.d.). This approach seems as if it will not protect
him just like the bust in the movie and we go throughout the scene tense, hoping it will buy jeff time
or protect him

Essay on ben franklin
Ben Franklin
Ben Franklin became famous for being a scientist, an inventor, a statesman, a printer, a philosopher,
and a librarian. Today, we honor Ben Franklin as one of the men who founded America and as one of
America s greatest citizens.
Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston on January 17, 1706. He was the tenth son of soap maker,
Josiah Franklin. Though Ben only had one year of schooling he was educated and loved to read and
write. He worked as an apprentice to his brother, James, who was a printer, when he was fifteen years
old. At the age of seventeen, Ben ran away and started a new life in Philadelphia as a result of
arguments with James. Franklin found work as an apprentice printer and did so well the provincial

In 1731 he established one of the first subscription libraries in America, the Library Company of
Philadelphia., under the pen name Richard Saunders. He also helped to found the first firehouse,
Philadelphia s Union Fire Company and an insurance company, the Philadelphia Contribution for
Insurance Against Loss by Fire. In 1737, Ben was appointed deputy postmaster of Philadelphia.
In 1749, Ben retired from his business career and concentrated on science, experiments, and
inventions. He founded the American Philosophical Society, an organization to promote advancements
in science. His studies oviously paid off because Ben Franklin was the inventor of several important
inventions. He invented a heat efficient stove, swim fins, the glass armonica, and bifocals. Ben s
observations, including his kite experiment which verified the nature of electricity and lightening,
brought him international fame.
Benjamin Franklin was not only a man of scientific accomplishments, but political accomplishemtns
as well. . At first, he went back to England to represent Pennsylvania. He remained in England till
1775 as a Colonies representative for Pennsylvania, Georgia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. When
the British ratified the Stamp Act, Ben helped to persuade Parliament to repeal it. Benjamin Franklin
began to support the idea of the Colonies separating from England. He returned home to find that his

The Importance Of Censorship In Libraries
Censorship is a huge thing within today s society, Censorship in libraries is when a school board, a
parent, or just anyone challenges a book that is explicit with sexual language, homosexuality, and or
religion. The meaning of censorship is to ban a book, it s not necessarily up to the library, but more so
to the community and the school board. Anyone can challenge a book to be censored, even if it s not
explicit, if you personally take offense to a book you can challenge it to be a censored or banned book,
but with that you have to have a valid reason on why you want it banned or censored. There are
thousands of books that are considered to be explicit and are banned out of libraries in some schools
even if they aren t that bad of books, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Including Ten Sleep, Wyoming. On the other hand there s a lot of schools who have just this specific
book banned or censored because it is sexually explicit, homosexuality explicit, and religiously
explicit.
For my second reasoning, books can be challenged, censored, or banned in libraries if the parents,
staff, or school board if they do not necessarily agree with their children to read books that are
censored in libraries because they could be religious and it could be going against their beliefs and that
would affect and cause a lot of chaos for the school district or public library; my prospective and voice
on this is that there should be books banned, censored, or challenge because theirs always going to be
someone who will take offense to something, wither it is a book, a movie, a magazine, or even a song.
Mark Twain a famous poet once quoted, The man who does not read has no advantage over the man
who cannot read and I personally think this is important because I believe that the more experience
that you may have in reading or just anything else, the more experience you will have means the more
knowledge you have, this is significant because if you can read or hear and you choose not to listen to
music or read, you are only hurting yourself because you will have no advantages over anyone. . If

Chuck Jones
Chuck Jones was and still is a pioneer of animation, contributing to over 300 films animated films. He
redfeined character development and storytelling. There are three methods that Chuck employed to his
animations. Firstly, the jokes. Many people remember The Looney Tunes not only for the characters,
but the jokes. Chuck Jones installed a two part structure to every episode. The first part leads you to
make an assumption and the second part proves it wrong. However, the amount of work put into every
single character is what truly set the films apart, leading us to the second method creating relatable
characters. Chuck Jones wanted to make the characters relatable to audiences he wasn t just looking
for jokes, he wanted these characters ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It helps to have the dialogue, but the dialogue is not the thing that makes it work. The story should tell
itself by the way it moves. Now that we know what the character wants and how they move to get it,
we can then add in the personality of the character to the assumption. On the flipside, there is danger
to this method and you can easily get trapped in a formula. In order to counteract this, Chuck Jones
disciplined himself. Discipline is our third method because animating always you to do whatever you
want, so you have to think about what you won t do. For example, Bugs bunny never instigated a
fight, he only retaliates when others start it. Chuck Jones did this because if he did not, Bugs Bunny
would appear as a bully. Chuck Jones also applied discipline to how character expressed themselves.
In earlier years, they tended to go through a slew of expressions in a couple of seconds, but over time
Chuck Jones stuck to using the smallest possible gestures and that made the jokes funnier. But the
most important lesson that Chuck Jones has taught us, is to be inspired by everyday life because it is
no good to draw if you have nothing to

The Interlopers Theme
One of the many difficulties in plotting against somebody is that it usually all comes back to bite you
in the bum. An annoying little sister finds Mum s favourite necklace that was placed oh so
nonchalantly in the floor by a tantalized older child. Guess what? The older child wore the necklace
last. In Saki s The Interlopers , and the African fable, The Trapper Trapped , it seems that the themes
are very similar, and both result in dramatic backfire. The Interlopers begins with a man named Ulrich
von Gradwitz on the hunt. He s not looking for animals, though. The story provides insight on the true
motive, stating, [He] patrolled the dark forest in quest of a human enemy. Gradwitz is hunting for a
man who was, like him, raised to hate

How Has Shogun Tokugawa Made The Isolation Of Japan...
It was during the Edo period, also known as the Tokugawa period (1600 1868) when Japan made the
decision to isolate itself from the rest of the world. The Japanese believed any contact with the outside
world would contaminate and disrupt their strictly organized society, which was why they limited their
contact with other civilizations. This period of isolation led to many factors such as, no warfare or
exchange with other countries. This also meant that there was not any influence from different
cultures, knowledge, or economy. For most of the Edo period, Japan was a peaceful place with happy
people. Japan accomplished something no other country had, which was staying at the same state for
more than 250 years. This is why Shogun Tokugawa made the Exclusion Laws, for he saw the
foreigners as a threat to his power, authority, and military control. ... Show more content on

With this law in place no one could come in, including missionaries with a goal to spread Christianity.
The law also worked the other way, no one out. If someone left Japan, under almost no circumstance
would that person be able to come back, for fear of bringing back new technology, cultures, and ideas.
The Shogun also decided to put in place a law that no big ships were to dock at the Island. Ships that
had tried to dock, were destroyed and the people on it were lucky they were kept hostages, to say the
least. They were extremely lucky if they did not destroy the boat and were simply forced to leave. The
Shogun saw this law as essential for national

Causes Of Washington s Economic Recession
Fast forward to January 20, 2009, the day Barack Obama was sworn into office, the balance of power
in Washington began to shift back toward its traditional plumb line. President Obama had run on a
platform of ending the two pronged wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Consequently, majority of
Americans seemed to forget that over 9,000 American troops were still fighting a two pronged war.
Americans shifted their focus on fighting the economic recession instead. The economic recession in
the United States that caused widespread public panic made it difficult to enact new free trade
agreements. The global financial crisis and recession that caused the U.S. unemployment rate to rise to
10 percent during the first year of his presidency. The shift in

Coming Back to Cultural Imperialism
Coming back to Cultural Imperialism. We would like to start with the most rudimentary questions.
What is culture. Why do we need to talk about it. What does Imperialism have to do with culture. And
what is Cultural Imperialism. When Steger talks about the cultural dimension of globalization, he uses
the words symbolic construction, articulation, and dissemination of meaning (90). Culture can define
an individual, a group, a society, a nation or even the globe. Humans are social beings and since pre
historic times humans have been inquisitive and have embarked upon journeys to find new
civilization. Today we are looking for life on other planets. When a person interacts with another, the
first judgment he makes is about his nature. Similarly when we find ourselves in a new atmosphere, a
new culture, the first few things we pick up are the culture not the economic status or the political
scenario. It could be as simple as a greeting in the native language, or knowledge about the local
cuisine, clothes or traditions. We all know that Vasco Da Gama brought along spices from his visit to
India. What intrigues us so much, must be of huge importance. Culture exists in the form of ideas,
language, identity, images and everything the human mind can perceive. Cultural is the inherent
reactions, the way we behave socially, what we believe in and what makes us stand apart or defines us
as a group. An interesting term at the heart of our discussion is cultural products . According to

day old newborn baby, a six month old and a three year old, all three children were unharmed
(Valencia, 2017). Per news reports, seven of the eight victims were in three homes while the eighth
victim was found in a fourth home with the unharmed newborn baby (Valencia, 2017). The murders
occurred during the night with all eight victims being murdered in their beds as they slept. The victims

Deductive reasoning draws from specific conclusions of general principles (Bartol Bartol, 2010).
Arrival at the crime scene and drawing theories from the scene would be the initial step of deductive
analysis. Forming a hypothesis from theories drawn at the scenes would follow. The hypothesis here
is; there are many aspects of this crime and unknown suspects that are obvious such as the
sophistication of the attacks and the fact that the young children were spared, this alone aligns with
criminals who are experienced and have a clear method of what they do. Observation of the multiple
crime scenes and the way in which the family was killed leads to, this act of violence against this
family showing as being business related and not personal. This is based on the fact that the victims
were shot execution style while sleeping in their beds (Valencia, 2017). It is possible the marijuana
grow operations are connected in some way to the killings. Due to there being more than one crime
scene within close proximity to each other, there may be multiple assailants in this crime. The
hypothesis drawn in this case can only be confirmed after an arrest of a suspect is made, this case

Independent Film Industries Reinforce The Global Construction Of The Hybrid Genre
Almost every country has its own film industry. Films are being produced across the world, from the
low budget gangster films of Britain s Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Australia s Chopper
to the French art cinema of L aventura and the German action offering of Run Lola Run . This is of
course to exclude America. Hollywood is the center of the global film industry and it can be
considered impossible to gain international superstardom without passing through its coiffured gates.

This Saussurian[2] idea, that meaning of one thing can change by its surrounding text, can be
identified within the Romantic Comedy genre. In British RomComs such as Jack and Sarah a grainy
filter is used on the camera to add a gritty realism and lead characters are often faulted and possibly
not as beautiful as their Hollywood counterparts in, say, Jerry Maguire where glossy superstars who
are destined to be together discover their love in expensive settings, such as the recreated American
Football game in Jerry Maguire . These differing conventions from separate film industries are still
considered part of the RomCom genre.
A possible explanation of this could be their different target audiences. British audiences can relate to
clumsy, embarrassed lead characters falling in love in the rain as this is considered typically British .
Such stereotypes reveal the structuralist nature of society. Balanced narratives and order do not exist
in real life. In the same vein, nationality does not dictate personality. Yet media has developed such
indexical representations i.e. clumsy is a sign of British (Hugh Grant in Four Weddings and a Funeral
and Notting Hill ), and implanted them in film. These intrinsic meanings, as Bazin[3] articulated,
allow for rapid communication of meaning. Equally, the American audience has an array of TV
channels, including the big budget

Twenty-First Century Christianity
First century Christians founded their new identity on the understanding of being sinners, saved
through Christ Jesus, and true people of God. The Jews had a misinterpretation of the coming of the
Messiah and they did not acknowledge his resurrection and believed Jesus was cursed by God for
being crucified. It was a necessity for the Apostles to preach the Gospel with truth and bring
awareness to the people of the true interpretation of scripture. The Apostles pleaded the people to get
saved (2:40) and acknowledging their sin by repenting and get baptized (2:37 38). The opportunity of
repentance is a gift of God s mercy and grace to nullify our understanding and pride. Israelites
considered themselves God s holy people (22:3; 26:4 5) but they were sinning in ignorance (3:17). I
am a sinner in nature and I will either sin intentionally or unintentionally. Through Jesus Christ
crucifixion and resurrection, I am able to repent and ask for forgiveness with the confidence that my
sins will be wiped out (3:19). Repentance and being able to be baptized (8:37)not only in the name of
Lord Jesus but also in the Holy Spirit is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As being part of God s true people, I partake in the Abrahamic blessings. I am no longer of the world,

and opportunity to repent and forgiveness of sin which was given to me by God to others. God
confirms the first century Christian with the filling of the Holy Spirit and they spoke boldly (4:31). All
people are lost without Jesus (11:17 18; 10:43), there is a great need for Christians to evangelize the
good news. I am responsible as a steward of God to proclaim the good news to those around me and

My First Part Of The Combo
In the beginning of the year, from week one to week five, we began learning some of the warmups and
getting our body used to dance. I have never taken a dance class before so when I first entered the
classroom, I was a little intimidated. One of the first things we learned was a warm up combination.
The first part of the combo was where we had our right foot go forward, back to the other foot, side,
back to the other foot, back behind us, and then back to the original position while clapping at the end.
Then, we would repeat this process on the other side while trying to make your body not so stiff but
free flowing. Next, we repeated these two steps fastly and then turn after your foot would return with
the other foot. After that, we ran forward, lifting our arms and right leg up neighing , and then repeated
on the other side. We repeated both sides twice. Next, we went to our right side lifting our right leg up
and down on the floor while clapping moving sideways. After a few counts, we woulds lift our arms
diagonally to the floor, and fall back to the left side. We would repeat this process on the other side as
well. Additionally, we would do the octagon with our feet going back and forward. Once that was
done, we would run to the right side and then run back to do the other side again. Lastly, we did the
octagon dance again, running, and instead of turning back, we would go into the retire position and
turn slightly to the front of the room. Last, we would repeat on the

mind with misinterpretations about their father and his knights. This results in the first honor act, in
which Regan kicks her father out of the house and into the dreadful storm. She orders her husband,

the cruel idea of yanking his eyeballs out. They assured themselves that these horrific actions would
ease the struggle they were dealing with in order to attain the honor they desired. The brutality of
Regan s thoughts and intentions increased as the play progressed. Rather than feeling guilt and having

  • 2. Energy Consumption And Its Effect On The Environment Introduction Energy consumption is universal to all, in spite of the location in the world. Different countries and people consume different amounts of energy at any given time. Energy consumption ranges from small scale to large scale uses for different purposes. However, what is common to all despite the amount used is the impact of the consumption that cuts across every region. Among the most fundamental sources of energy used on regular basis, include oil, natural gas, and coal, which are fossil fuels. The generation of energy from fossil fuels requires combustion to take place, which, as a resultant, causes pollution to the atmosphere. An increase in the pollutants in the atmosphere causes environmental issues in the specific locale and the globe on a larger scale. The main pollutant to the environment due to fossil fuel combustion is the greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide. Climate change is accelerated by the emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere; there have been efforts from around the world by governments to reduce the emission of this greenhouse gas. Some measures put in place has reduced the emission of the said gas, however, some are yet to yield the desired result. Different countries consume different amounts of energy, and therefore, the emission of carbon dioxide into the environment varies greatly from one country to another. Energy in the United States and China Both China and the United States are the major global consumers of energy in the world. As ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Injustice And Social Injustices Introduction Though the concept of social injustice is universal in nature, the experience varies with each person. Factors like a person race, or gender can further influence the severity of the injustice; victims caught in the overlap between discriminations often go unrecognized by the law and society. Many people recognize the names Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and Tamir Rice as African Americans who were murdered by local police. But names like Michelle Cusseaux, Tanish Anderson, and Meagan Hockaday often receive less feedback even though they are also murdered African Americans. The only distinction between the sets of names is gender. Even within racial injustice, discrimination is present between genders as some cases get national ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In a publication titled Black Women in Academe , author Yolanda Moses describes how isolation, invisibility, hostility, indifference, and a lack of understanding of the Black women s experiences are all too often part of the climate Black women may face on campuses (Moses, 1989). The detrimental environment surrounding these women frequently results in sullenness, lack of social assertiveness, and belief that they are less competent than male students. Even if time spent at an academic institution is minimal, with this kind of prejudice faced at an early age, any woman black or otherwise, would suffer the rest of their life. In response to the discrimination faced at universities, some have created programs to aid black students and other minorities; these programs tend to generalize the needs of all its black students and do not fully support black women specifically. Double discrimination and its effects are not only seen in academe. Social injustice occurs in any situation where people are treated unequally and includes discrimination and racism. For much of the twentieth century, crime and punishment have provided some of the most powerful symbols of racial divide in America (Rosich, 2007). Generally tried in a white dominated legal system, black victims often face harsher punishment, longer sentences, and unfair trials. Rosich s research indicates that white Americans widely believe that people of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. New Liberalism Essay New Liberalism Old liberalism, otherwise know as classical or Gladstonian liberalism was centred around the fundamental rights of the individual. It was an ideology that the state should have little to no intervention in people s lives and in the economy. It relied heavily upon the notion of laissez faire, and the Victorian mindset of self help. Thrift was one of these ideas. It was the theory that any family could support itself if that income was managed wisely, and a pension could be saved for. The key pillars of old liberalism was low taxes and low state intervention. This was because they believed that the people should be able to spend their money as they wised, and not be forced to send it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Towards the end of the century this was coming into question. Other European nations were industrialising and eating into Britain s profits. There was a thought among the British public that as long as the economy was growing, eventually prosperity would filter down to the lower classes. But as the economy began to shrink, according to Lee it eroded the attractions of industrial growth as a panacea for society s ills. Victorian notions were rapidly becoming out of date and viewed as wrong, not only economically, but morally as well. In London and York, studies showed that a third of people lived in poverty as a direct result of simply not having a large enough income to cover their basic needs, while thousands more lived in poverty due to inadequate education to manage there finances. Laissez faire was being proven to be out dated in Birmingham where the conservative mayor Joseph Chamberlain had shown that local government taking control for and organised public amenities and facilities could benefit the community as a whole. Not only did this destroy laissez faire, but also it was an attack by the Tories on Liberal values. In the 1880 s socialism was starting to gain ground as the lower classes saw that their situation was not increases, and at the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

I carefully went down the list of things I could take and ensured I didn t have anything else. A little nervous I went to talk to my parents about my move to becoming my own man. I looked at their faces and could tell that although they were proud they were a little nervous about their only son leaving home for the first time. My mom tried to smile but she was proud yet nervous because I had always been her little guy so she was having a hard time letting go. After a short conversation with my parents I decided to try and rest for the long journey ahead. Its now 5 o clock in the morning and I m up to shower and get ready ... I knew I had to do this for me and them, I had to show myself first and them second that I had what it took to make it. Day two and forward we woke up at 4 am with yelling and screaming that we had 15 minutes to shower, shave and get in line for physical training and breakfast. Everything was 15 to 20 minutes including eating; you learn to eat real quickly. Training was tough but as the weeks went on it got easier. Then around week 4 we had to swim, I was never a strong swimmer so I was nervous but I made it through. Around week five it seemed they got a little easier and then explained that the toughness was to help us rely on each other and build the necessary teamwork within us all. As time went on we had learned the entire Chain of Command, proper Navy rules and how to properly wear all the uniforms and the seasonal changes for whites and blues. As the 8th week came we got ready for graduation. Everyone was ready to show their parents how much they had grown up in the last two months. Part of growing up was proper grooming, making our beds and being responsible and accountable for each other. Some of the guys in my company sat around the night before talking about some of the hard times in boot camp. The Weakness Of Uber China Aㄝ Weakness ¬ Lack of market research Everyone knows that market research is critical component needed to make good decisions when a company attempt to invade into another market. Market research does this by giving marketers a picture of what is occurring, what is the customer habits like, or what is the macro environment like, then adjust their own business models to adopt to a brand new business, suggest multiple options for entering or introducing new products, or determine if the market is worthy to risk. • 10. Arguments Against Neoliberalism Response: As will be discussed in this response, there is sufficient evidence to prove that neoliberal assumptions, language and policy prescriptions have in theory aimed to achieve social justice but in reality only serves to entrench power and privilege to those already advantaged. Neoliberalism is a blanket term that encompasses ideology, philosophy and strategy. (Penna O Brien, 2012; Roy et al, 2006; Miraftab et al, 2015). It is a term that is multifaceted and so one plain definition could not give it justice. Possibly the way to describe it is to understand the main assumptions under Neoliberalism. Over the last 30 years these provisions have been taken away leaving us with out current predicament. (Andrews, 2017). By late 1980s Hawke and Keating had implemented a series of neoliberal policies, beginning with the deregulation of the labour market and finishing with the privatisation of assets such as, Qantas and the Commonwealth Bank.. The Howard government continued the trend by attacking wages through unions, and liquidated over $100bn worth of public assets. (Stinson, 2014). Neoliberalism can still be seen in the present climate with our existing (or lack there of) policies towards climate change. Men such as George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson fit these roles. They are deemed America s founding fathers and laid the support for the most powerful country in history. However, one more man deserves his name to be etched into this list. His name was John Marshall, who decided case after case during his role as Chief Justice that has left an everlasting mark on today s judiciary, and even society itself. Through Cases such as Marbury v. Madison (1803) and McCulloch v. Maryland (1819) he established the Judicial Branch as an independent power. One case in particular, named Gibbons v. Marshall had decided that because the Constitution declared Federal law supremacy, any law passed by Congress should be the superior force. However, only those State laws that conflicted with Federal laws and jurisdiction, therefore deemed unconstitutional, should be rejected. Therefore, States had the power to regulate their own trade, such as the southern slaves, but the Federal Government had the final say, and ultimately, supreme power. Congress henceforth could control intra and interstate commerce as the Constitution specified. Marshall s decision was none other than extraordinary. He had single handedly prevented further debate over slavery (for the meantime, anyhow), and satisfied any contention with Federal jurisdiction. He had, once again, made a very historic decision that would see itself all the way through America s lifespan. Historically, Marshall supported Federalism, as he had in other cases such as Marbury v. Madison (1803). This would carry the country further from a loose collection of States into a National Power to be reckoned with. Also, by putting off the slavery issue again, he extended the amount of time before there eventually would be an outbreak over the issue. He and the others knew the day would come, but they would deal with it at that later time; probably by use of arms. For his contributions to the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 13. Persuasive Essay On Locavorism Locavorism is the movement of eating locally raised, grown and produced food. Local food is defined as food that is produced in a 100 mile radius of where it was purchased. This trend has become a worldwide phenomenon and recognized as a potential solution to modern food production problems in the United States. Due to the numerous benefits, Locavorism is the best solution to solving the Unites States food problems. These benefits include increased economic support, improved environmental care, and promotion of fair food markets. Today nearly every aspect of society is ran by money. As a result this makes it difficult to not discuss the economic side of something. Local eating involves essentially buying food directly from the source. Which in turn provides money almost directly to the farmer and gives them the ability to further improve the farm. Azeveado (6 7) cites a study done by the New Economics Foundation within London. The study showed that at a local store the profit returned to the economy was more than double that which was spent. So an item which cost 10 pounds returned an amount of 25 pounds to the local economy. While studying a supermarket, the same amount of money spent only returned 14 pounds. This research shows undeniable proof that buying local helps the local economy. The economic increase from a large amount of people doing this could greatly improve money problems within the United States. More money would be available for public ... Perhaps less historically, betrayal has also appeared in the wizarding world of Harry Potter, as two terrible wars redefine values and loyalty within the wizarding community. However, betrayal also shows itself in acts of love and bravery in Rowling s beloved series. In the Harry Potter books betrayals are used to reveal truths about characters, represent development, and uphold the belief held within all seven of the books: that we are defined by the choices that we make. Within the Harry Potter series, betrayals are often used to show sides of characters that we might not have otherwise seen. With the first wizarding war in full swing Lily and James Potter (in hiding from Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters) are betrayed by their close friend Peter Pettigrew. The amount of texting in this society has increased gradually over the past decade with a percentage of over 7,700% (Burke). Since the development of communication on modern technology, this generation s ability to communicate in person has been damaged through lack of face to face interactions and improper grammar. Although texting and social media may benefit relationships in long distance, privacy is invaded and the lack of interactions in person can damage relationships. Furthermore, texting has changed the way the world communicates because it provides an easier option for people to choose to contact people. To begin with, texting has changed the way society in the 21st century communicates because it deprives social skills of a person. The increasing amount of conversations developed on technology has affected the confidence and social skills of this generation because communicating behind a screen is different from communicating in person. Before sending a message, an individual can erase and retype a message before a mistake is sent. On the other hand, in a verbal conversation, errors are irreversible once something is said. For Freud sexuality is infinitely complicated and far reaching in its effects and forms the basis of self identity and interactions. It is at puberty that the sexual nature of girls becomes feminine, that is, passive or receptive. Puberty for girls is marked by a fresh wave of repression in which it is precisely clitoral sexuality that is affected, thus overtaking the heretofore active nature of a little girl s sexuality, and replacing it with a passive non clitoral leading sexual zone focused on the vaginal orifice. The clitoris retains a role in sexual excitement but its task is in transmitting the excitation to the adjacent female sexual parts and is not the primary sexual zone as experienced in boys. Before women can transfer their leading zone from the clitoris to the external genitalia an interval must occur during which the young woman is anaesthetic, that is unresponsive sexually. This period occurs at the very time that the pubertal male libido is growing and seeking a sexual object. The pubertal repression of females acts as a kind of stimulus to the libido of men and causes an increase in its activity. The repression of pubertal girls leads the male libido to a sexual overvaluation of its chosen object, which is unobtainable. When a woman has successfully transferred the erotogenic zone from the clitoris to the vaginal orifice, it implies that she has adopted a new leading zone for the purposes of her later sexual activity. This is in contrast to the male erotogenic zone, which remains unchanged from childhood. Freud notes that it is precisely this ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Culture can define an individual, a group, a society, a nation or even the globe. Humans are social beings and since pre historic times humans have been inquisitive and have embarked upon journeys to find new civilization. Today we are looking for life on other planets. When a person interacts with another, the first judgment he makes is about his nature. The hypothesis here is; there are many aspects of this crime and unknown suspects that are obvious such as the sophistication of the attacks and the fact that the young children were spared, this alone aligns with criminals who are experienced and have a clear method of what they do. Observation of the multiple crime scenes and the way in which the family was killed leads to, this act of violence against this family showing as being business related and not personal. This is based on the fact that the victims were shot execution style while sleeping in their beds (Valencia, 2017). It is possible the marijuana grow operations are connected in some way to the killings. Due to there being more than one crime scene within close proximity to each other, there may be multiple assailants in this crime. The hypothesis drawn in this case can only be confirmed after an arrest of a suspect is made, this case remains ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 33. Independent Film Industries Reinforce The Global... Independent Film Industries Reinforce The Global Construction Of The Hybrid Genre Almost every country has its own film industry. Films are being produced across the world, from the low budget gangster films of Britain s Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Australia s Chopper to the French art cinema of L aventura and the German action offering of Run Lola Run . This is of course to exclude America. Hollywood is the center of the global film industry and it can be considered impossible to gain international superstardom without passing through its coiffured gates. What is it that separates Hollywood from the rest of the world? Is Hollywood the culmination of international filmic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This Saussurian[2] idea, that meaning of one thing can change by its surrounding text, can be identified within the Romantic Comedy genre. In British RomComs such as Jack and Sarah a grainy filter is used on the camera to add a gritty realism and lead characters are often faulted and possibly not as beautiful as their Hollywood counterparts in, say, Jerry Maguire where glossy superstars who are destined to be together discover their love in expensive settings, such as the recreated American Football game in Jerry Maguire . These differing conventions from separate film industries are still considered part of the RomCom genre. A possible explanation of this could be their different target audiences. British audiences can relate to clumsy, embarrassed lead characters falling in love in the rain as this is considered typically British . Such stereotypes reveal the structuralist nature of society. Balanced narratives and order do not exist in real life. In the same vein, nationality does not dictate personality. Yet media has developed such indexical representations i.e. clumsy is a sign of British (Hugh Grant in Four Weddings and a Funeral and Notting Hill ), and implanted them in film. These intrinsic meanings, as Bazin[3] articulated, allow for rapid communication of meaning. Equally, the American audience has an array of TV channels, including the big budget ... • 34. Twenty-First Century Christianity First century Christians founded their new identity on the understanding of being sinners, saved through Christ Jesus, and true people of God. The Jews had a misinterpretation of the coming of the Messiah and they did not acknowledge his resurrection and believed Jesus was cursed by God for being crucified. It was a necessity for the Apostles to preach the Gospel with truth and bring awareness to the people of the true interpretation of scripture. The Apostles pleaded the people to get saved (2:40) and acknowledging their sin by repenting and get baptized (2:37 38). The opportunity of repentance is a gift of God s mercy and grace to nullify our understanding and pride. Israelites considered themselves God s holy people (22:3; 26:4 5) but they were sinning in ignorance (3:17). I am a sinner in nature and I will either sin intentionally or unintentionally. Through Jesus Christ crucifixion and resurrection, I am able to repent and ask for forgiveness with the confidence that my sins will be wiped out (3:19). Repentance and being able to be baptized (8:37)not only in the name of Lord Jesus but also in the Holy Spirit is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As being part of God s true people, I partake in the Abrahamic blessings. I am no longer of the world, God is my judge and I was called to spread the gospel (4:19 20). I need to share the gift of salvation and opportunity to repent and forgiveness of sin which was given to me by God to others. God confirms the first century Christian with the filling of the Holy Spirit and they spoke boldly (4:31). All people are lost without Jesus (11:17 18; 10:43), there is a great need for Christians to evangelize the good news. I am responsible as a steward of God to proclaim the good news to those around me and nothing can hinder God s plan ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 35. My First Part Of The Combo In the beginning of the year, from week one to week five, we began learning some of the warmups and getting our body used to dance. I have never taken a dance class before so when I first entered the classroom, I was a little intimidated. One of the first things we learned was a warm up combination. The first part of the combo was where we had our right foot go forward, back to the other foot, side, back to the other foot, back behind us, and then back to the original position while clapping at the end. Then, we would repeat this process on the other side while trying to make your body not so stiff but free flowing. Next, we repeated these two steps fastly and then turn after your foot would return with the other foot. After that, we ran forward, lifting our arms and right leg up neighing , and then repeated on the other side. We repeated both sides twice. Next, we went to our right side lifting our right leg up and down on the floor while clapping moving sideways. After a few counts, we woulds lift our arms diagonally to the floor, and fall back to the left side. We would repeat this process on the other side as well. Additionally, we would do the octagon with our feet going back and forward. Once that was done, we would run to the right side and then run back to do the other side again. Lastly, we did the octagon dance again, running, and instead of turning back, we would go into the retire position and turn slightly to the front of the room. Last, we would repeat on the ...
