Computer Topology Of A Network
INTRODUCTION: The physical or network topology of a network seriously affects the network price,
dependability, throughput, and approach pattern, etc, thus we want to contemplate these multiple criteria
having totally different units, at the same time. However, normal ways of planning topology contemplate
solely one criterion, e.g., minimizing the specified range of physical links. during this paper, we tend to
propose a topology style methodology exploitation average rank , that is calculated by averaging the ranks
of all criteria. This methodology needs very little calculation and therefore the principle of topology
analysis is basically straightforward. Through numerical analysis, we tend to show that this methodology
will realize ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

II Different criteria used in planning for a Network Topology
III Factors affecting Network implementation
IV About Network Architecture In order to know and apply the ideas during this chapter, you must be
acquainted with basic networking ideas. This includes the functions and options of the TCP/IP protocol
suite, technologies like the variants of LAN, synchronous optical network (SONET), and wave division
multiplexing (WDM), and therefore the basics of network routing, security, performance, and management.
Network analysis, design, and style have historically been thought of art, combining somebody s explicit
rules on evaluating and selecting network technologies; information regarding however technologies,
services, and protocols is meaningfully combined; expertise in what works and what doesn t; along with
(often arbitrary) alternatives of network designs. However, as with different sorts of art, success of a
specific network style usually depends totally on who is doing the work, with results that are rarely
duplicable. this could have been acceptable within the period of time of networking, once networks were a
lot of a hobby than a crucial resource and didn t directly support revenue generation. Today, however,
networks are embedded among our work, home, and outside environments. they re thought of

Disadvantages Of Moving To Fayetteville
If I could, I would pack my bags and move to Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Northwest Arkansas, where Fayetteville is located, is filled with all kinds of entertainment, beauty, fun,
culture, and entrepreneurship. Fayetteville is the most interesting location in Northwest Arkansas to me,
because it s where the University of Arkansas is located. The University of Arkansas is where I plan to
attend college at after high school. Fayetteville is also located close to other large cities such as
Bentonville, Springdale, and Rogers. Northwest Arkansas is known for it s natural beauty, and also fun to
explore. Fayetteville, Arkansas is a beautiful, lively college town that always has an event going on. The
town was voted the third best place to live in the United States by U.S. News World Report this year. Since
the University of Arkansas is located in Fayetteville, the town stands out compared to the other surrounding

Fayetteville is less than an hour away from each of the three big cities, where they all connect on I 49 N.
Being minutes away from the other cities are beneficial in many different ways. Easy shopping is an
advantage of living in Fayetteville, because of the short distance from the different variety of stores.
Fayetteville itself provides the Northwest Arkansas Mall, a shopping center with over one hundred
specialty stores and eateries, and fifty minutes away is the Pinnacle Hills Promenade, also containing over
one hundred stores in Rogers. The different cities also have different cultures, which I find very unique.
Residents living in Northwest Arkansas have many different opportunities to explore different cultures
throughout the area. Job opportunities are also a big benefactor to living in Fayetteville, the economy is still
continuing to grow so it is fairly promising to get a

Greek Mythology Essay
Since the beginning of time the people of the world have their share of beliefs. Greek mythology is the
arguably the most popular region of study. In Ancient Greece every citizen had a patron that would protect
them and pantheism was commonplace. The Romans admired the Greeks in their art and culture and even
took different aspects of their gods. Polytheism was widely accepted in all cultures so the seed of
mythology bloomed. The time line of the creations of gods to the end of their reign is an important factor in
Greek Mythology.
Creation
The creation of the gods starts with chaos and from the chaos came the endless gods: Eros, Tartarus, and
Gaea (Love, hell, and the earth). Gaea created Uranus, the first ruler of the sky and Eros ... Show more

Being unsuccessful, he went up to the heavens to his wife who had another spiteful plan. ( Cronus )
The Fall of Cronus and the Rise of the Olympians Once Zeus was fully grown he returned to his father s
realm and with the help of his mother, hoodwinked Cronus to drink an emetic that made him disgorge his
children (Leadbetter). It was these children: Hades, Poseidon, Hestia, Hera and Demeter who helped Zeus
wage the Titan war against Cronus. The women titans refused to help Cronus defeat the Olympians and
even a few male titans helped aid the Olympians. After ten years of battles, the Olympians were able to
banish the Titans into the Underworld (Titanomachy). It was after this war that Zeus seized the throne and
divided the sky, the underworld, and the sea amongst him and his brothers. (Hades: the underworld,
Poseidon: the sea, and Zeus: the sky.)
Gigantomachy
After the Olympians took rule over the world, Gaea grew upset about the order of things. It was either
because she thought that the Titians were not being treated fairly, or because she felt that she was being
appreciated. Either way, she was angered and decided that she wanted to take over. She brought forth
creations that were birthed to overthrow the Olympians: the Giants. Amongst them were Typhoon and
Echidna (Hatzitsinidou). Typhoon was said to be so tall that his head scrapped the sky. There is some
debate on what he was said to appear to be, but the most popular reference is that he was

Virginia Beach Case Analysis Essay
Virginia Beach focuses in on demographic and behavioral segmentation to appeal to potential tourists (pg.
89). They think of age ranges and what is going on in that time of your life and create advertisements to
appeal to you. They call this what each group lives for (pg. 89) Since Virginia Beach focuses in on each
demographic by age group they should also focus in on income. Singles without children may be willing to
spend more. They could advertise beach front hotel rooms or hotel rooms with a view on the
LIVEFORTHECRUISE.COM page (pg.90). For the families with children they could advertise family
friendly activities on kids television networks like Disney, Nickelodeon, and PBS. This would capture the
child s attention and have them ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If a family is planning a trip to Virginia Beach in November I would recommend that their would be less
tourists around. This would give the family a better feel of Virginia Beach, there would be less lines, the
Boardwalk would not be overcrowded, and restaurants would be more attentive. I would also still advertise
the Charter fishing trips, they are a year round activity.
PT. 2 DELAWARE VACTION
1. If I were to choose a destination in my state it would be Dewey Beach. This is a popular destination in
Delaware because it is a beach full of restaurants and bars. It has the bay on one side and the ocean on the
other. It appeals a lot to young adults who want to go away and be surrounded by people their own age.
There are also musical events all year round at the different bars.
2. My target market would be young adults ranging from about 23 28.
3. Dewey is a very big party beach. There are tons of bars, famously Starboard. This bar stays open all year
round and is constantly packed with people. Also Dewey is a great place for people in this age range to be
surrounded by people their own age. They are young and still want to go out and have fun. The musical
performances would also appeal to this age range. There are four beaches anywhere from 15 minutes to an
hour surrounding Dewey too, which means there are plenty of opportunities for day trips too. So the money
they are spending goes a long

Ruling in the Griggs v. Duke Power Co. Case
Synopsis: Duke Power, a company being sued by its ethnic minority employees this included Willie
Griggs. Griggs would be filing the class action law suit along with several of his fellow co workers for
unfair processes in which attaining a promotion or higher paying position was met by having a high school
diploma and undergoing IQ testing. Prior to the civil rights act Blacks were only allowed to work in the
company s labor department, which happened to harbor its lowest paying positions as well. After the
implementation of IQ testing and the requirement of holding a high school diploma it was found that
Blacks were being selected at a lower rate for higher positions than their white counterparts. Considered the
first case of its type Griggs v. Duke Power Co. was taken before the Supreme Court of the United States
where it was found that the requirements were not relevant to an employee s ability to perform a job.
Therefore it was ruled that Duke Power Co. promotion practices were discriminating against its black
employees. The Supreme Court found that in adding a requirement for promotion within a company the
requirements need to be reasonably related to the job for which the test is required thus bringing into
question test validity. The question is begged, Can employment practices be discriminatory if there is no
intent to discriminate? Although the Duke Power Company never intended to discriminate in their internal
transferring and promoting procedures they were

Afghan Wedding Tradition
Marriage in the traditional Afghan culture has a deep rooted process through which it treads step by step.
Rarely do young men and women have an opportunity to meet each other, and the to be wife is usually
chosen in a haste. When a young man wants to marry a young lady who is from an unknown family, first
his parents do some kind of background check about her, trying to know more about her morals, beauty,
and other family affairs.
If they are contented with what they find, his parents will send a female family member or a relative to her
house in order to understand, indirectly or directly, and would disclose the proposal, if the situation is
favorable. This consultation process takes some time, and a date is usually fixed to announce ... Show more

Partying at the Groom s Home
The real party is held in the groom s house where a larger number of people are invited for lunch. A small
group of tambourine men stand outside and escort the groom s relatives and friends with their gifts to the
house, where another person stands to receive the gifts.
The groom s family members serve the people with tea, water, and fresh juices, standing in line in the

Prayer. Then, he rides the horse decorated with a new embroidery cloth at its back. Elders leave to bride s

Best Wrestlers In Professional Wrestling
Every year the biggest event in all of professional wrestling is held; which is known as wrestlemania.
Everybody came to watch everyone to wrestle, but that was before the appearance of the Undertaker. He
was the most demonic wrestler of all time. He was straight from hell. He started preying on some of the
best wrestlers of all the wwe. He started with Jimmy Snuka, Jake The Snake Roberts (2 0), Giant Gonzalez
(3 0), King Kong Bundy (4 0), Diesel (5 0). Every year he came back for more. He was stronger than any
other man that s ever been in the ring.. This phenom was like nothing anyone had ever seen. He tore them
apart, had no mercy, and did not care who it was he beat them. Man after man he rolled through them
taking one win at a time. Some wondered when this terror would end others thought that it would not.
Every year he would come back for another superstar, he knew no limit. Vince McMahon (the owner of the
wwe) was getting worried that this terror that reigned over them would last forever. He sent his best
wrestlers after him and time and time again they came back empty handed. He tried to plead with him, he
sent in some of his lower wrestlers as sacrifices, but there was no making a deal with the devel. ... Show

Essay on Bird and Wildlife Management at Airports
On January 15, 2009, United Airlines flight 1549 ditched into the Hudson river immediately after take off
from New York s LaGuardia Airport only five passengers were seriously injured and seventy eight
passengers reported minor injuries. It was brilliant piloting of Captain Chesley Sullenberger that saved
everyone from a horrendous death but how did this event occur? From reports and interviews, the aircraft
suffered damage to both of the aircraft s engines. The cause of the failure to both engines, was non other
than a flock of Canada Geese that flew into both engines, during the first two minutes of the flight. Bird

Second, there is has also been a large increase in military and commercial aviation transportation. Thirdly,
due to more urbanization and city growth, natural birds and wildlife habitats have become fewer. In this
case, more birds and wildlife have began settling near airports. With the increase in damages to aircraft
from bird and wildlife strikes, how do airports prevent from future collisions with bird and wildlife?
Airports have many traditional ways of treating the issue. Some are environmentally safe while others may
cause controversy with environmental and government groups. Each does have its pros and cons though.
One method is the use of firearms. This method is quick but requires precise accuracy and quick judgment
Either shooting to scare or to kill and remove the animal, this method is the least popular due to the fact
that some wildlife are either endangered or under environmental protection. For example a United States
airport would lose it s public opinion if one of the animal control employes opened fire upon an American
Bald Eagle which happens to be the national bird. The use chemicals is another method that is non violent
to deter bird and wildlife. Some airports use certain plants that produce chemicals and odors the makes
wildlife uncomfortable and stay away from the airfield. Though this method is non violent to birds and
wildlife, it does have its set backs. Chemicals used to spray around the airfield can

Richard Serr Art And Visual Experience
Richard Serra Richard Serra was born in 1938 in San Francisco, California. He studied at the University of
California and at Yale University as well. He is one of the well known American artists and sculptors of the
Post Abstract Expressionist period. His work has played a major role in advancing the tradition of modern
abstract sculpture. His work has been able to draw a new perspective to sculpture by viewers in physical
and visual experience. Richard Serra was involved in the process Art movement and currently works in
Tribeca, New York and on Cape Breton Island in Novia Scotia. I believe the background of the artist has a
great contribution to the works he has created. Living and working the New York could have been the main
factor to why Richard Serra has made these tall structures that kind of represent walls or towers. It may
depict how the city of New York is seen to be portrayed as. Many different kind of buildings and sort of an
industrial looking area with many structures and buildings surrounding the millions of people that walk
through it every single day. This may have been why he had decided to create his sculptures for people to
walk through and around them to see what he is trying to portray. Richard Serra made his first sculpture out
of materials such as fiberglass, rubber, and molten lead. Around 1970s, Serra had shifted his normal
activities and stated to work on large scale site specific sculptures. He creates these sculptures that are a lot

Natural History Museum s Eternal Life In Ancient Egypt
Over the weekend, I chose to examine and analyze the Natural History Museum s exhibit Eternal Life in
Ancient Egypt . The exhibit contained many artifacts and visual representations of what and why Egyptians
performed mummification. Whilst visually entertaining and generally informative, there did not seem to be
a discussion of multiple interpretations on the significance for each object. The speculative nature of these
statements coupled with an often lacking of archaeological evidence backing up these claims created more
questions than answers. However, the exhibit did a great job describing and informing of the science
required for the analysis as well as informative background explanations for these artifacts. With clear and

With a mummified boy on display, the exhibit explains that the embalmers preserved the body by
shrouding it in a sheet of linen instead of elaborate layers of fabric strips meaning that this is a commoner s
body (Smithsonian). The captions also state that the placement of the arms and chin on chest reflect
mummification practices from about 2,000 years ago (Smithsonian). Accompanied by images showing the
process of unraveling the boy mummy, this section of the exhibit successfully explains social hierarchy in
Egypt and the mummification procedure in an informative manner. The exhibit also informs how advances
in radiographic imaging allow for scientists to analyze mummies without damaging their fragile remains or
wrappings (Smithsonian). Again, images of the radiographs and processes of attaining them accompany
this statement which contains valuable information since it is always important to know how the museum
and scientists preserve the artifacts whilst gaining more

I Am A Third Generation American
Born to Peggy and Edward Garcia on October 4th 1984, I am a third generation American. My grandfather
was born in Mexico and my father was born in New Mexico, while I was born at Fort Lewis Washington, I
am a Soldiers Son. While growing up my father was stationed at various bases throughout the United States
and I was lucky enough to tag along. From an early age I was always told to do better and more than those
who came before me by my mother. From the age of two till I was five I lived in Fort Bragg, North
Carolina. This is where I gained my southern draw (which still comes out if I happen to be speaking to
someone else who has one). At the age of six to nine I had the opportunity to live in Anchorage, Alaska.
This is where I learned to want to always be outside exploring or building things. At the age of 10 my
father was stationed to Fort Hood, Texas where I followed suit. Texas would eventually be where I would
call home. I went to middle school at Smith Middle School and High School at Ellison High School. I
graduated Ellison High School in 2002 and worked various jobs from a warehouse manager to a janitor.
While some of the management jobs paid well they did not have any sense of fulfillment or pride. Just after
graduating High School I began to date my now wife Marissa. We had met at a BBQ that one of my fathers
soldiers had been throwing. Both her father and my father were in the same unit together. I moved from

1. The workers were issued envelopes containing Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering drawings.
a) Ralph observed certain inconsistencies between the two sets of drawings.
b) The two departments that were responsible for producing the drawings do not communicate with each
other. The Engineering department does not design for manufacturing. It seems that efficiency and costs are
not considered in the design phase.
2) By buying lumber cut to length he would have cut production time, waste, labor and costs related with

A worker has to go to the computer each time an operation is completed, and Joe s son wastes his time
recording mostly useless data. Screws are counted and delivered in marked bags, scrap wood is recorded,
etc.
The plan is rigid and is not focused on achieving a minimum but on not exceeding a maximum deadline.
The amount of work in progress is high and the planning does not factor that in. In this particular case, a
mistake at the beginning, when there is little work in progress, may not have much of an impact or no
impact at all because of the generous buffers. A mistake later, when the amount of work in progress is high,
may delay the work more than the buffers can compensate for.
a) Ralph suggests building only one section at a time cellular manufacturing. In this case the operation
becomes so small that the planning and control system designed by Joe becomes redundant.
b) The amount of work in progress is minimized. Fewer tools are needed. The parts do not have to travel
between the work stations. The control systems becomes redundant, everything takes place in the garage.
5. Joe does not have an incentive system. The workers are bullied and rushed to do the work with no
reward if they finish in time. Promises (a beer at the end) are not kept.
a) He relies on a computer for performance evaluation. It is easy to get first hand information, as the
shelves production takes place in his own backyard, but instead he uses

Though he has written the storyline quite well, his execution is below par. There is nothing great to rave
about in the film as a good sequence is followed by some silly and boring elements. He has failed to create
the depth which a patriotic film needs and showcases the film in just an ordinary note. Figure 6 This relies
upon the quantity of system connects to achieve the archive that we require. Disagreeable archives: Both
plans encounter long association times Medium prevalence: Hierarchical stores give better association
times Exceptionally well known reports: Not much contrast between the 2 plans This shows how a
crossover reserve with 4 collaborating processors plays out somewhat superior to both alternate plans.
Transmission time Figure 7 This is the transmission times in a highly congested network scenario.
Distributed routing has lower transmission times as documents travel over lower network levels. The
hybrid scheme performs better than both the other schemes. Total Latency Figure 8 These graphs show a
bimodal distribution where we can see significant latency reductions (peaks around 95% to 100%) or little

Changing Face Of Stroke
Changing Face of Stroke: Implications for Occupational Therapy Practice Stroke is the number one leading
cause of adult disability, and it is estimated that approximately 7 million Americans are living with the
effects of stroke. The direct and indirect cost of stroke in the United States was approximately $53.6
billion, with a mean lifetime cost estimated at $140,048 (American Heart Association, 2004) and each year,
approximately 795,000 people have either a new or recurrent stroke (Go et al., 2013). The profession of
occupational therapy was founded on the principles of occupation and participation, and these principles
have now become central concepts in the definition of health (Baum, 2003). Much of the research and

It has three components viz. inherent risk, control risk and detection risk.
In today s world, the role of IT has turned accounting estimated critical in financial reporting and
disclosure. Houghton and Fogarty have said that non accurate or incorrect estimates have often caused to
misstatements in audit report (Gray Manson, 2007).
Audit Risk Model
Audit Risk Assessment can be done by this Audit Risk Model. This model consists of 3 types of risks i.e.,
inherent risk, control risk and detection risk. Eventually, audit risk is a product of these 3 types of risks
(Griffiths, 2012).
Inherent risk:
It is the susceptibility of an account balance or a class of transactions to a material misstatement, assuming
that there were no internal controls. The inherent risk at Telstra is that there may be certain types of
misstatements that may not be identified during the course of audit. The inherent risk associated with the
audit of Telstra is ascertained based on the nature of the business. Telstra Corporation Limited have these
kinds of risks: inventory valuation risk, intangible assets valuation risk, foreign currency risk, interest rate
risk, tax risk, amendment risk and compliance risk. All the above stated risks pose potential material
misstatements on the financial statements and thus need to be addressed (Telstra

Native American Art And European Art
Native American culture was a great influence on newly introduced western art when settlers first came to
North America. Not only did Native Americans have their own style of art, sculpture, basket weaving, and
other fine arts. Their artistic styles helped influence some European art and gave them a different outlook
on not only art itself, but a brand new culture that they have not seen before. This paper will talk about the
different styles of Native American art and compare it to European art styles and artist, as well as going
into detail about how their culture influenced artistic styles. There are many different types of Native
American tribes located in the United States, and there were even more when Europeans/settlers first
arrived on the shores of the East coast. In the Subarctic and Arctic area (Alaska, Canada, and south of
Canada) the only known surviving art is the Petrgoglyph site in Ontario. A lot of these art were painted
hides from caribou and moose which were used to make bright colored clothing, tipi s, and beaded boxes.
When Europeans finally met these Native Americans, moose hair tufting and floral glass beadwork became
popular in that area greatly as they were influenced by the Grey Nuns which was a Canadian religious
institute from the Roman Catholic Religious sisters founded in 1783. The Yup ik of Alaska had a long
tradition and remarkable style of carving masks for their rituals. These mask were classified as art due to
their designs and

What Is Schein s Model Of Organizational Culture
This issue can be explained with the model developed by Edgar Schein for understanding the
organizational culture. Schein s model of organizational culture identifies three distinct levels in
organizational cultures;
1. Artifacts and behaviors include any tangible, overt or verbally identifiable elements in an organization
such as architecture, furniture, dress code, office jokes etc.
2. Espoused values include organization s stated values and rules of behavior such as how the members
represent the organization expressed in official philosophies and public statements etc.
3. Shared Basic Assumptions are the deeply embedded, taken for granted behaviors which are usually
unconscious, but constitute the essence of culture. These assumptions are typically so well integrated in the
office dynamic that they are hard to recognize from within.
Illustration of Schein s model of organizational culture
According to Schein explained, once an organization culture is based on shared basic assumption of not
valuing integrity, it is clear to burst cross cultural issues with officers who do not have such assumptions

4. There are a lot of animals mentioned in the Old Testament that are a part of Waldau s key animals. For
example, the elephant has not been directly mentioned in the Old Testament, but it does mention the trade
of Ivory which is primary component of an elephant s tusk. Ivory has been mentioned a lot of times in the
Old Testament. It mentions the fact that King Solomon had a throne made of ivory. There have been
mentions of a house being built made of ivory. The second animal in consideration are the apes. There is a

Mail Order Pharmacy And Hospice Pharmacy
Pharmacy is something that i didnt think about when i first started trying to get my goals together . All I
knew was that i wanted to work in the nursing field. As i embark on my journey to become a pharmacy, i
see it is more to it than just putting things in the computer. I also learned that there a quite a few different
types of pharmacies. My top two choices were Mail Order Pharmacy and Hospice pharmacy . THis two are
very different but also similar at the same time . Being on the outside looking i always thought it was one
type of pharmacy , but this course taught me very differently . Through my journey, i took interest in two
more pharmacies . These pharmacies are Long Term Care Pharmacy and Telepharmacy. Let me give you

This is helpful because there is a shortage of pharmacist . Another big advantage is for the elderly . The
elderly can not always get around like they need to ; This is why telepharmacy is a great area to be in .
Lastly , a big advantage is providing overnight pharmacy services . Long term pharmacies on the other
have a disadvantage of high cost . Depending your condition you may need to be a facility and you may not
be able to afford it because your insurance does not cover it . It sounds good but as you get older health
services are very hard to cover. As i research job openings, it seems like it would be better in a long term
care pharmacy than any other pharmacy . Long term care pharmacies are all over , and you can never have
too many pharmacy techs . But this also pushes me to push myself to further my education in the nursing
field . It get hard but its worth it

P3: Describe the distribution and constituents of body fluids
M2: Explain functions of the constituents of body fluids
Our bodies are on average about 60% water, water is so important and we cannot live without it as it;
regulates our body temperature, moves nutrients through cells, keeps our mucous membranes moist and
flushes waste out of our bodies. In this assignment I am going to be describing the distribution and
constituents of the body fluids and explain the functions of the constituents of the body fluids. This
assignment is mainly about the importance of water and its role within the body and all of its distinctive
properties.
In this assignment I am going to be discussing the distribution and constituents of fluids within the body. In
the first part of the assignment I am going to be describing the distribution and constituents of body fluids.
This will include the distribution of water within the body, the constituents of various intracellular and
extracellular body fluids and I will also include examples. I am then going to give examples of the solutes
and what they contain.
I am then going to give an explanation of water within the body, the location and the function of five
electrolytes that are found within the body and the importance of maintaining this balance. I am finally
going to include how the three buffer systems help to control the pH within the body.

How Did Mozart Change The World
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a prolific European Composer during the 18th century where he made a
lasting change on the musical world through his numerous compositions and excellence in his capabilities
of playing many instruments perfectly. Mozart was born on January 27th, 1756, in Salzburg Austria. His
father was Leopold Mozart who was a violinist, a minor composer, and Vice Kapellmeister at the court of
the Archbishop of Salzburg. His mother was Maria Anna Pertl. By the time Mozart was around four his
father gave his sister music lessons, but without anyone knowing Mozart would absorb what they were
talking about, and he started to awaken his gift. He started memorizing and playing songs just by hearing
them and reciting them after. Mozart was four years old when he composed his first concerto for the
clavier. On January 24, 1761, three days before his birthday, he learned a scherzo by Georg Christoph
Wagenseil between nine and nine thirty at night an unusual time for a small child to be practicing in an age

Examples Of Feminism In Jane Eyre And Wide Sargasso Sea
Feminism is a movement that I believe is misunderstood by those who do not try to understand it. There
was a time when I misunderstood what it meant to be a feminist and believed it to be a man hating
movement that strived to make women the rulers of the world and though I do not completely despise the
idea it was not something I was comfortable being a part of. Thanks to the mass media that surrounds me in
this millennium, I have learned that being a feminist and the feminist movement is instead a movement
meant to create equality of the sexes and to create a world that thrive off of that equality. My research
question for this extended essay is, A feminist critique of the roles of the protagonist in Jane Eyre and Wide
Sargasso Sea: ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
My thoughts differed for the two female protagonists. I felt that Jane was that she was a strong willed
character who had goals for herself and I really liked that her goals were about her bettering her life. Her
life plans did not involve her finding a man who could take care of her and make her financially stable. My
thoughts concerning Antoinette were different. I was disappointed in the choices she made and I could not
relate to her lack of willpower and confidence in herself. After reading the books I felt that Jane Eyre could
be considered a feminist novel but not Wide Sargasso Sea. I wanted to give an educated feminist critique
on the two novels before jumping to further conclusions which lead to me searching for sources which
would educate me as to what it means to really be a feminist

described as being overweight or having obesity ( Overweight ). In 2013 2014, more than two in three
adults were considered to be overweight or have obesity in America ( Overweight ). Additionally, about
one in six children and adolescents ages two to nineteen were considered to have obesity ( Overweight ).
Many Americans have adopted unhealthy lifestyles and as a result, they are gaining more and more weight.

Most people know that children need at least sixty minutes of physical activity each day, which is equal to
seven hours every week. Unfortunately, only one in three children are physically active each day ( Facts

are not physically active at all ( Facts and Statistics ). On the other hand, the World Health Organization
and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recommend that for good health, adults should get
the equivalent of two and a half hours of moderate to vigorous physical activity each week ( Physical
Activity ). Only one in three adults receive this amount of physical activity each week ( Facts and Statistics
). To many people s surprise, less than five percent of adults participate in thirty minutes of physical
activity every day ( Facts and Statistics ). These shocking numbers exemplify how physically inactive our
country has become in recent years. Another contributing factor that causes weight gain and obesity is
television watching. Children who have televisions in their bedrooms are more likely to gain excess weight
than children who do not ( Television Watching ). Several trials that reduced children s television use were
designed and the results were improvements in body mass index (BMI), body fat, and other obesity related
measures for the children who watched less television ( Television

Success is something that is earned, not given. It s setting a goal for yourself and not letting failure try and
stop you. Failure is a hard lesson to learn, but it teaches us not to give up and to keep trying. Failure is part

we want. The most rewarding thing is overcoming the obstacles and reaching full potential. Bella Throne

the Alchemy of Race traces the racial odyssey of immigrants from Eastern and Southern Europe who were
at first regarded as racial other, and then relegated to the status between black and white, and finally
inclusive as Caucasian white. These in between groups were classified as Hebrews, Celts, Mediterraneans,
Iberics, Slavs, Teutons, and the like in nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Jacobson analyses the

7). During this period, the population of European origin was homogeneous, while the population of color
combination was starkest. Jacobson explains that the 1790 law codified the assumptions of white privilege
dating from the seventeenth century colonial charters, statutory law, and the Articles of Confederation. The
idea of citizenship was weaved with whiteness and maleness before the Revolution, because citizen was
someone who could help put down a slave rebellion or participate in Indian wars (p. 25). The only chattel
slaves were of African descent, the only savages were the indigenous peoples, and most of the rest were
British descended Christians. The 1790 law set a mandating precedent that even the uncivilized immigrants
from Europe could automatically be regarded as whites, in contrast to the Indians and black slaves.
Jacobson claims that the second phase of American nativism history from the 1840s to 1924 is mainly the
history of a fundamental revision of whiteness (p. 68). The unitary concept of whiteness was shattered by
the arrival of the Celts during the mid nineteenth century, and of Hebrews, Italians, Slavs, and others at the
end of the century. Large numbers of Catholic German and Irish famine peasants raised the questions about
white entitlement and the capacities for republican citizenship of newly immigrants who were attaining
citizenship as white people. To maintain the privilege of whiteness, Anglo

The Causes And Effects Of Fossil Fuels
Humanity has had thousands of years on Planet Earth to indulge in the many resources Earth has to offer.
Over the years of trial and error within industry, innovation, and creation, humanity began to destroy the
planet without recognizing the dangers that would come to be in later years. Causes and effects of pollution
became increasingly aware to the population, as respiratory diseases began to rise in numbers. Pollution is
the product of human industry. Innovators are forced to find new ways to keep up with the rapid growth of
the population by any means resulting in the deterioration of Earth and its exhaustible resources. The
environment and the population has suffered from many negative influences that must be prevented in
order to ensure the existence of future generations. Industry and the population is highly dependent upon
fossil fuels. Though greener alternatives to the burning of fossil fuels have been presented, none have been
nearly as efficient enough as the burning of fossil fuels. Emission testing for gas powered forms of
transportation have helped to reduce excessive carbon dioxide levels into the atmosphere, though total
emissions increased in the United States from 1990 to 2007 (Rogers). The burning of fossil fuels has
remained the most efficient source of energy for years. As the population continues to grow, an increased
dependency on fossil fuels will also continue to grow. According to a source from Bizfluent from the U.S

It is obvious that schools operations are largely based on political and economic reforms. Students are
encouraged to attend school in order to gain an education and as a result, to qualify in some form to enter
the workforce. Students from a very young age are exposed to hidden messages that suggest life is equated
with achieving well at school. Students are also exposed to a set curriculum content, which often appears to
be related to political movements at any given time. This formal curriculum allows students to gain
knowledge of how and why things are the way they are. The formal education that students receive at
school revolves around the content of the curriculum; however, there remains a whole hidden curriculum of
values and social orientations that students are constantly subject to alongside this formal learning.
The Hidden Curriculum as it is known, operates more or less on the level of a mini society, making
students accustomed to the regulations, social values and norms of the broader society. As it is stated by the

collecting and processing firearms evidence at a crime scene there are a strict set of rules and procedures

and that can be found at crime scenes if the firearm is left behind.
The most common types of firearms that are used in crimes are semi automatic pistols, and revolvers.
There are different types of semi auto pistols and revolvers out there, which are but not limited to .38, .38

Let us start on how to collect and process expended projectiles and cartridge casings. When collecting
expended casings, projectiles and remnants of shotgun ammunition each one should be numbered,
photographed and measured for placement in a crime scene sketch (Tina Young, 2011). Each one collected
should be placed in a pillbox or coin envelope then those should be placed into bigger envelopes or bags
(Tina Young, 2011). If a projectile is stuck in a wall the section of the wall where the projectile is located
should be removed (Tina Young, 2011). If a firearm found at a crime scene the best way to link it to the
crime or other crimes is to test fire it into a water tank or ballistic gel. Once this has been done, the forensic
tech can then compare the bullet and casing using a microscope. (Tina Young, 2011). If the firearm is not
located then the casing or bullet can be ran through the National Ballistic Database. Now that we have
talked about rendering firearms safe and also how they should be processed, now we can look at what

Turkmen Energy Relations With China And Russia
Turkmen Energy Relations with China and Russia
Historically in the Russian sphere of influence, since the breakup of the Soviet Union, just like the rest of
Central Asia, Turkmenistan has found itself in the middle of Sino Russian confrontation over the question
of who is the new regional powerhouse.
Due to the shared Russian imperial and then Soviet past, the Russian influence the Turkman society was
prevalent after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Pipelines carried Turkmen gas to Russia and then from
Russia to Western markets. Turkmens had no alternative, all of Turkmen gas from the Dauletabad field was
exported through the Soviet era Central Asia Center Pipeline System which was built between 1960 and
1988 and carried gas from Turkmen and Uzbek fields to a hub on the Russian Kazakh border called
Alexandrov Gai and then linked to the Russian pipeline network. Initially Russia bought the Turkmen gas
at a very cheap rate and then resold it to the European markets at a price several times higher than what it
paid the Turkmens. In March of 2008, following a meeting in Moscow between Gazprom and top energy
officials from the region it was announced that beginning in 2009 the sale of natural gas will be made at
European prices; however, Turkmens in particular had already realized the need for diversification.
Turkmens started looking for alternatives to their export routes and one of the main directions they looked
toward was the east, at the new rising dragon, China. The

Computer Topology Of A Network INTRODUCTION: The physical or network topology of a network seriously affects the network price, dependability, throughput, and approach pattern, etc, thus we want to contemplate these multiple criteria having totally different units, at the same time. However, normal ways of planning topology contemplate solely one criterion, e.g., minimizing the specified range of physical links. during this paper, we tend to propose a topology style methodology exploitation average rank , that is calculated by averaging the ranks of all criteria. • 4. Greek Mythology Essay Since the beginning of time the people of the world have their share of beliefs. Greek mythology is the arguably the most popular region of study. In Ancient Greece every citizen had a patron that would protect them and pantheism was commonplace. The Romans admired the Greeks in their art and culture and even took different aspects of their gods. Polytheism was widely accepted in all cultures so the seed of mythology bloomed. The time line of the creations of gods to the end of their reign is an important factor in Greek Mythology. Creation The creation of the gods starts with chaos and from the chaos came the endless gods: Eros, Tartarus, and Gaea (Love, hell, and the earth). Gaea created Uranus, the first ruler of the sky and Eros ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Being unsuccessful, he went up to the heavens to his wife who had another spiteful plan. ( Cronus ) The Fall of Cronus and the Rise of the Olympians Once Zeus was fully grown he returned to his father s realm and with the help of his mother, hoodwinked Cronus to drink an emetic that made him disgorge his children (Leadbetter). It was these children: Hades, Poseidon, Hestia, Hera and Demeter who helped Zeus wage the Titan war against Cronus. The women titans refused to help Cronus defeat the Olympians and even a few male titans helped aid the Olympians. After ten years of battles, the Olympians were able to banish the Titans into the Underworld (Titanomachy). It was after this war that Zeus seized the throne and divided the sky, the underworld, and the sea amongst him and his brothers. (Hades: the underworld, Poseidon: the sea, and Zeus: the sky.) Gigantomachy After the Olympians took rule over the world, Gaea grew upset about the order of things. It was either because she thought that the Titians were not being treated fairly, or because she felt that she was being appreciated. Either way, she was angered and decided that she wanted to take over. She brought forth creations that were birthed to overthrow the Olympians: the Giants. Amongst them were Typhoon and Echidna (Hatzitsinidou). Typhoon was said to be so tall that his head scrapped the sky. • 5. Virginia Beach Case Analysis Essay Virginia Beach focuses in on demographic and behavioral segmentation to appeal to potential tourists (pg. 89). They think of age ranges and what is going on in that time of your life and create advertisements to appeal to you. They call this what each group lives for (pg. 89) Since Virginia Beach focuses in on each demographic by age group they should also focus in on income. Singles without children may be willing to spend more. They could advertise beach front hotel rooms or hotel rooms with a view on the LIVEFORTHECRUISE.COM page (pg.90). If a family is planning a trip to Virginia Beach in November I would recommend that their would be less tourists around. This would give the family a better feel of Virginia Beach, there would be less lines, the Boardwalk would not be overcrowded, and restaurants would be more attentive. I would also still advertise the Charter fishing trips, they are a year round activity. PT. 2 DELAWARE VACTION 1. If I were to choose a destination in my state it would be Dewey Beach. This is a popular destination in Delaware because it is a beach full of restaurants and bars. It has the bay on one side and the ocean on the other. It appeals a lot to young adults who want to go away and be surrounded by people their own age. There are also musical events all year round at the different bars. 2. My target market would be young adults ranging from about 23 28. 3. Dewey is a very big party beach. There are tons of bars, famously Starboard. This bar stays open all year round and is constantly packed with people. Also Dewey is a great place for people in this age range to be surrounded by people their own age. They are young and still want to go out and have fun. The musical performances would also appeal to this age range. There are four beaches anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour surrounding Dewey too, which means there are plenty of opportunities for day trips too. So the money they are spending goes a long ... • 6. Ruling in the Griggs v. Duke Power Co. Case Synopsis: Duke Power, a company being sued by its ethnic minority employees this included Willie Griggs. Griggs would be filing the class action law suit along with several of his fellow co workers for unfair processes in which attaining a promotion or higher paying position was met by having a high school diploma and undergoing IQ testing. Prior to the civil rights act Blacks were only allowed to work in the company s labor department, which happened to harbor its lowest paying positions as well. After the implementation of IQ testing and the requirement of holding a high school diploma it was found that Blacks were being selected at a lower rate for higher positions than their white counterparts. Considered the first case of its type Griggs v. Duke Power Co. was taken before the Supreme Court of the United States where it was found that the requirements were not relevant to an employee s ability to perform a job. Therefore it was ruled that Duke Power Co. promotion practices were discriminating against its black employees. The Supreme Court found that in adding a requirement for promotion within a company the requirements need to be reasonably related to the job for which the test is required thus bringing into question test validity. The question is begged, Can employment practices be discriminatory if there is no intent to discriminate? Although the Duke Power Company never intended to discriminate in their internal transferring and promoting procedures they were ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Thirdly, due to more urbanization and city growth, natural birds and wildlife habitats have become fewer. In this case, more birds and wildlife have began settling near airports. With the increase in damages to aircraft from bird and wildlife strikes, how do airports prevent from future collisions with bird and wildlife? Airports have many traditional ways of treating the issue. Some are environmentally safe while others may cause controversy with environmental and government groups. Each does have its pros and cons though. One method is the use of firearms. This method is quick but requires precise accuracy and quick judgment Either shooting to scare or to kill and remove the animal, this method is the least popular due to the fact that some wildlife are either endangered or under environmental protection. For example a United States airport would lose it s public opinion if one of the animal control employes opened fire upon an American Bald Eagle which happens to be the national bird. The use chemicals is another method that is non violent to deter bird and wildlife. Some airports use certain plants that produce chemicals and odors the makes wildlife uncomfortable and stay away from the airfield. Though this method is non violent to birds and wildlife, it does have its set backs. Chemicals used to spray around the airfield can ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

These in between groups were classified as Hebrews, Celts, Mediterraneans, Iberics, Slavs, Teutons, and the like in nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. During this period, the population of European origin was homogeneous, while the population of color combination was starkest. Jacobson explains that the 1790 law codified the assumptions of white privilege dating from the seventeenth century colonial charters, statutory law, and the Articles of Confederation. The idea of citizenship was weaved with whiteness and maleness before the Revolution, because citizen was someone who could help put down a slave rebellion or participate in Indian wars (p. 25). The only chattel slaves were of African descent, the only savages were the indigenous peoples, and most of the rest were British descended Christians. The 1790 law set a mandating precedent that even the uncivilized immigrants from Europe could automatically be regarded as whites, in contrast to the Indians and black slaves. Jacobson claims that the second phase of American nativism history from the 1840s to 1924 is mainly the history of a fundamental revision of whiteness (p. 68). The unitary concept of whiteness was shattered by the arrival of the Celts during the mid nineteenth century, and of Hebrews, Italians, Slavs, and others at the end of the century. Large numbers of Catholic German and Irish famine peasants raised the questions about white entitlement and the capacities for republican citizenship of newly immigrants who were attaining citizenship as white people. • 33. The Causes And Effects Of Fossil Fuels Humanity has had thousands of years on Planet Earth to indulge in the many resources Earth has to offer. Over the years of trial and error within industry, innovation, and creation, humanity began to destroy the planet without recognizing the dangers that would come to be in later years. Causes and effects of pollution became increasingly aware to the population, as respiratory diseases began to rise in numbers. Pollution is the product of human industry. Though greener alternatives to the burning of fossil fuels have been presented, none have been nearly as efficient enough as the burning of fossil fuels. Emission testing for gas powered forms of transportation have helped to reduce excessive carbon dioxide levels into the atmosphere, though total emissions increased in the United States from 1990 to 2007 (Rogers). The burning of fossil fuels has remained the most efficient source of energy for years. As the population continues to grow, an increased dependency on fossil fuels will also continue to grow.
