Global Warming Topic Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of global warming can prove to be a challenging endeavor. The
intricacies surrounding this critical environmental issue demand a comprehensive understanding
of scientific data, socio-economic implications, and political considerations. Navigating through
the vast sea of information, one must carefully sift through various perspectives to present a
balanced and well-informed viewpoint.
Moreover, addressing the urgency of global warming requires delving into complex scientific
concepts such as greenhouse gas emissions, climate models, and the potential consequences of
rising global temperatures. This necessitates a keen ability to translate technical information into
accessible language, ensuring that the essay is both informative and engaging for a diverse
audience.
Beyond the scientific aspect, discussing the socio-economic impacts of global warming involves
exploring how communities, industries, and nations are affected differently. This requires an in-
depth examination of policies, international cooperation efforts, and the role of technology in
mitigating climate change.
Additionally, the essay should not shy away from addressing the challenges associated with
global warming, such as skepticism, political inertia, and economic interests. Striking the right
balance between presenting alarming facts and inspiring constructive action is a delicate task,
demanding a nuanced approach to maintain credibility and motivate readers.
In conclusion, composing an essay on the topic of global warming demands a fusion of scientific
knowledge, analytical prowess, and effective communication skills. It is not merely a matter of
presenting information but also an opportunity to inspire awareness and action. For those seeking
assistance in navigating the complexities of such essays, various resources are available,
including professional writing services like HelpWriting.net, where similar essays and much
more can be ordered to facilitate the exploration of critical topics with depth and clarity.

The Divine Command Theorist Approach
Making decisions can be easy at times when it does not require much thought;
however, it can be complicated, especially when it involves people s lives. If, for
instance, there is a boat holding seventy five people but it should only hold fifty in
order to ensure the safety of the passengers and lessen the risk of the boat sinking,
who will be asked to leave the boat? There are also one hundred individuals in the
water whose lives must be considered; what can be done in a tight situation such as
this one where time is not in your hands? It is important to remember only fifty
people can be saved while one hundred and twenty five individuals might die. This
can prove to be a strenuous and gut wrenching challenge. There are several different

In this situation this theory would suggest to do what is just, but overall what God
believes to be right. According to this theory, God believes that the people on the
boat as well as those in the water should not be left to die. The people on the boat
cannot morally abandon the rest and leave them to die. A divine command theorist
pays very close attention to every person on the boat as well as the those in the
water. Overall, the individual will make a decision based on what is thought to be
good by God despite not establishing what is wrong or right, as mentioned by Plato,
making it debatable (Vaughn 17). Since divine theorists view the Ten
Commandments as God s morals codes, it is suggested by such theorist that by
choosing to leave a great amount of the individuals behind, it is immoral; God says
individuals shall help their neighbor. With this information, there comes a time in
which God, himself, has to make these types of decisions, and by believing in him,
a divine theorist will unfortunately sacrifice some people, but not without saving as
many people as they possibly can. While doing what is thought to be right by God,
they will, nonetheless, leave individuals behind and essentially, commit murder,
which can be seen as a controversial dilemma. In one way or another, they are
somehow going to take an action that leads to an immoral result. Not everyone will
be saved without risking
Example Of Mixed Income Housing
In Chicago, the city is known for their deep dish pizza along with the Willis Tower,
the second tallest tower in the United States. With all these prominent things about
the Windy City, there are problems dealing with poverty, lack of diversity, and high
crimes rates that are severe which people don t realize. To improve these situations,
the new concept of mixed income housing was introduced where a housing is
reorganized to the mixing of income groups as a fundamental part of its financial and
operating plans. Mixed income housing with bring in different people with different
income statuses which will bring in diverse ethnic and cultural groups. There are
controversy between whether the plans of mixed income housing is an initiative works
Meaning Triangle Paper
This paper extends the Meaning Triangle (Sowa, 1997) and creates a broad research
framework called the Research Pyramid for positioning the current literature and
identifying new AIS research questions or ideas. The framework is comprised of four
constructs: objects, concepts, symbols, and AIS (component(s)) that are connected
along the pyramid s edges, referred to as primitive mapping. Descriptions of four
common researchmethodologies in this field are presented (design science, field
studies, surveys, and lab experiments) and accompany the placement of current
literature amongst the four framework constructs as an evaluative tool. Primitive
mapping is discussed amongst two construct, three construct, and four construct
combinations; emphasis is added that the mappings are bi directional and therefore
the approach taken to examine said relationship should encompass this. An approach
to mapping literature to the framework is provided along with steps to take in order
to potentially identify areas that have not been extensively covered by prior research.
The purpose of this paper is to create a rudimentary framework to expand future AIS
research opportunities by examining current literature patterns [topical and
methodological] based on broad constructs. In the beginning of the paper the authors
take on a broad definition of AIS. They recognize that AIS goes beyond financial
accounting systems and is based on the processing of transactions, providing

The Collapse Of Asia s Economy
In the years following the collapse of Asia s economy in 1998, South Korea turned to
alternative exports to assist in both the restructuring of the nation s financial strength
and it s reputation in international markets. As a result, pop cultural exports such as
films, television dramas, pop music and celebrities associated with these forms of
media discourses have found growing popularity in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan; as
well as many other East and Southeast Asian countries. This growing popularity of
pop cultural exports has proved to be a tool in constructing a contemporary national
image and encouraged the emergence of the Korean Wave. According to Huang
(2009) Hallyu or the Korean Wave refers to the ...popularity of South Korean culture
in other Asian countries however, with the increased availability of digital media and
the increase of social networking, the definition of Hallyu has grown to include
Western Societies.
The emergence of Hallyu came out South Korea s economy collapsing during the
1998 financial crisis in Asia, when GDP plunged and caused a turbulent period of
financial insecurity within the public discourse. As a nation, from the early 1960 s
South Korea enjoyed a sustained level of economic growth which would average at
approximately 10% per year according to Koo (2007). However, during the later
months of 1997, South Korea experience a fierce economic downturn; with the nation
experiencing a shortage of foreign currency reserves and as an
The Power of The Sea-Wolf Essay
The Power of The Sea Wolf
Jack London s novel, The Sea Wolf, has many different interpretations. The story can
be read as a combination of the naturalistic novel and the sentimental romance, both
very popular around the turn of the century. London also brings into play literary
naturalism, in which human beings are characterized as just another species in
nature, subject to all of Her cosmic forces. The Sea Wolf fits almost perfectly the
archetypal pattern of an initiation story. Depth and interest are added to The Sea Wolf
by successfully integrating these three elements the combination of two popular
genres, literary naturalism, and the initiation story.
One of the characteristics common to most naturalistic novels is the ... Show more

Two elements of the naturalistic novel are present in The Sea Wolf humans fighting
nature, humans fighting one another.
Jack London also uses another popular genre of the time the romance novel. This
novel is very much about Humphrey Van Weyden and Maud Brewster falling in
love. As soon as Humphrey sets eyes on her he s entranced: She seemed to me like
a being from another world; she smiled amusedly and sweetly, as only a woman
can smile (142). She was like a feather in my arms, so slender, so ethereal (276).
Humphrey knew for a long time that he was deeply in love with her, but she didn t
realize that she reciprocated the feelings until late in the novel. When she finally
realized it, she smiled a most adorable smile, whimsical as I had never seen it, for it
was whimsical with love (284). This combination of the naturalistic novel and the
romance novel brings out the best sides of both and allows for a very interesting
novel.
Throughout the novel, London brings somewhat into play the ideas of literary
naturalism, in which human beings are treated as just another species. Many times,
the idea is introduced of the enormity of nature and the fact that humans are subject to
all of the cosmic forces. When trying to fix up the Ghost, Humphrey and Maud run
into many problems resulting from the destructive forces of nature. At one point,
Humphrey is blown off
Comparing Matthew, Mark, And Luke
Matthew, Mark, and Luke offered various versions to the same story of Jesus
returning to his hometown, teaching his community, and then the community
reacting to his teaching; while these stories had their similarities, they also had their
differences. Luke s account differed the most widely from the other two, and by
adding prophetic material from Isaiah, Luke expounded upon the reason for Jesus
being rejected by his home town and offered a reasonable and more detailed
explanation for the behavior and the townsfolk s reaction presented in both Matthew
and Mark. The language and meaning within Matthew, despite some differences,
resembled that of in Mark, however the language and meaning within Luke deviated
from the example set forth in Matthew and Mark.
The first time a difference between Matthew, Mark, and Luke was presented, was in
the opening line. Matthew and Mark did not identify Jesus hometown, while Luke
says Nazareth and expanded upon it saying, where he had been brought up (Luke
4:16). Luke in his account went into a more detailed version of his story, therefore he
would not be satisfied with just hometown (Matthew 13:54, Mark 6:1). Luke
throughout his gospel added more detail than Matthew and Mark in order to clearly
articulate the story. He had to name the town and describe that was where Jesus had
been brought up (Luke 4:16). Luke needed to describe all the action that occurred in
order to have a sufficient retelling of this particular story.
Trust in Business Is a Means for Greater Business Efficiency
All businesses strive to be effective and efficient. Whilst the hallmark of a capitalist
economy is self interest and competition, cooperation is also necessary in order to
further efficiency and productivity. For a business to be successful, the people within
need to develop relationships amongst each other as well as outside the organization
in order to be able to work with one another. These relationships are a function of
trust. Trust is the reliance on the integrity, ability, or character of a person or thing.
Therefore building trust is a vital step towards maintaining and promoting business
efficiency. However, in terms of business ethics, the sole purpose of the use of trust is
to promote business efficiency.

While loyalty is not easily quantifiable, and thus does not show up in a corporate
ledger, it will affect the company s overall performance. Because trust is a vital part
of loyalty, it follows that creating trust amongst employees by treating them
respectfully is likely to result in improved company performance and efficiency. This
once again provides a quantifiable measure for trust in a capitalist economy.
Trust is also dependent upon not lying. Companies that lie about their product are
in essence diminishing the trust established among their customers and the
community. This can be anything from providing misleading information about
their products in advertisements or stating obvious falsehoods . For example, an
obvious falsehood would be a deodorant company that claims that the user of the
product is likely to attract women as a result of the product itself. Lying is always
wrong because it undermines the trust that makes telling the truth useful. If no one
could be trusted , and everyone lied about what they did, the business world would
fall apart quickly as a business could not be assured of any one else s services. A
business would not be able to do something as simple as take a loan out of a bank
to afford its various activities. This is because banks would not trusting a business
to repay the loan as in a capitalist economy paying back a loan would not be in a
business self interest. Thus in such an environment, all of business comes to a

maximum monthly loss during the six month planning period? What is the
maximum cumulative borrowing balance? (For purposes of this question, disregard
any interest payments on short term bank loans or interest received from investing
surplus funds.) Maximum monthly loss is in June: $60,750. The maximum
cumulative borrowing balance is $99,000 in February. What does the monthly cash
budget reveal that indicates it should probably be extended beyond the original six
months horizon? The major cash shortfall in June and the seasonality inherent in the
firm s business indicate that a full year s cash budget should be developed. The

In both cases, the need for borrowing grows rather dramatically. While the base case
cumulative maximum is $99,000 in February, the 20% case is $214,752 and the 50%
case is a whopping $699,252. In these latter two cases, the cumulative maximums
occur in June, but the negative balances are building month by month. Not one
month in the 20% and 50% scenarios has a cumulative cash surplus, although the
20% case shows a couple of months with positive cash flows. Addressing the
worksheet that reflects the change in the collection pattern, how does this affect the
need for short term financing? How large a credit line would the clinic require as
compared with the base case? Since outflows are occurring at the same rate, but
inflows are slower, one would expect the need for short term financing to rise in
the early months. In fact, this occurs: there is a $139,000 max in February vs. the
base case s $99,000 max in February. Note, however, that cumulative cash surpluses
in the slower collection scenario outpace the base case surpluses in May and June.
Finally, based on the entire scenario analysis, and what you know about the need
for some surplus cash reserves, what would you recommend as the ideal line of
credit to pursue from First Bank? I would recommend a credit line of about
$200,000, since this would easily cover the base case maximum cumulative cash
shortfall of $99,000, and

The Meaning Of Life Essay
Over the course of history, the entirety of the human race has been in a state of
constant reflection upon what it truly means to partake in society s mutual
continuance. For the common man, the meaning of life seems to be a concept that
sits beyond one s reach. Such an abstract thought is almost exclusively reserved for
those who have passed on from this world. This is because of the fact that they
enjoy the privilege of simply asking whoever waits for them up above in Heaven or
down below in Hell. Few lucky members of humanity have achieved such a level of
enlightenment while on Earth where they are able to understand what it truly means
to exist. Despite the humantendency to lack insight, when carefully analyzed, the
question what is the meaning of lifebecomes rather simplistic. While one endeavours
upon the journey that is characterized as life, it is necessary that they experience
three major aspects that encompass what it means to live. While a person prevails
over existence, they must experience suffering, learn about the world around them,
and know the full depth of human affection whether it be for another person, a non
intelligent being, or materialistic item.
Throughout a person s life, suffering is inevitable. Those who take advantage of their
short time on Earth will no doubt experience suffering in many a way or form. First
off, mental anguish is commonplace around the world, being both the most prevalent
and irreparable form of suffering. Modern
Hairtyle Definition
Proportion is the comparative relationship of one thing to another. A well chosen
hairstyle can create the illusion of better proportion. It is essential when designing a
hairstyle to take into account the client s body shape and size. Challenges in body
proportion become more obvious if the hair form is too small or too large. A general
guide for classic proportion is that the hairshould not be wider than the center of the
shoulders, regardless of the body structure.
Proportion is also defined as any portion or part in relation to the whole. No one
certain feature or style produces beauty but rather the relationship or harmony created
when all components come together into a total image. Why does a hairstyle, for

Many have a side of the face that appears heavier. Many have one eye that is
slightly smaller or one flare of the nose that is slightly larger. And so, adaptability
becomes the first design consideration. During your client consultation, take the
time to make notations of the asymmetry to the face. If we design the hair towards
the low side of the face, we will accentuate it. If we duplicate the head form with
either fullness or the lack thereof, we emphasize it. Feel the bones of the head and
take note of the growth patterns in the outer and inner perimeters. Remember that
the outer perimeter creates the strongest influence to the features. Be very careful
about the hair that touches the face. Will it point to an unflattering feature, such as
a pointed nose? If there is a protrusion of the frontal bone, the fringe area will lift
and dry shorter than anticipated. We have found that working with two mirrors is
of tremendous benefit: one for the frontal view and one for the profile. Watch that
you do not accentuate a poor profile with an extension in that area. The mirrors will
tell you things that the eye cannot see directly. In addition, using a haircutting chair
gives the best view of the back and sides of the head because you are looking
directly into them. If you are looking down at the hairline, your vision is altered.

Steven Spielberg And Schindler s List Comparison
Can t I Be Both?
The career of Steven Spielberg has been vast. Spanning five decades, he has
crossed genres with more success than most of his contemporaries. In the grand
scheme of cinema I believe that those who are drawn to his masterful work can be
categorized into two groups. This partition between the two revolves around his
seminal classic Schindler s List and separates his career into two parts. While his
films, early and recent alike, follow common themes; there is also a subtle divide.
These themes ranging from the lost boy to obsessions to family issues have been
orchestrated throughout the majority of his films. For the purpose of this essay let s
call them Pre 93 and Post 93: the former being prior to 1993 and Schindler s List, the
latter being everything 1993 and on. The aforementioned themes, along with
significant moments within the director s personal life, paint a picture of a man
evolving within his work.

Political Liberalism And Conservatism

University of New Mexico, to determine if Conservatives (Republicans) intercepted
visual stimuli (image of faces) different from their liberal (Democrat) counterparts
(Virgil, 2010). They wanted to know if liberals and conservatives process information
differently. Using the data collected from their experiment, they were able to
establish that Conservative sympathizers show a heightened threat reactivity, when
viewing the visual stimuli, compared to the liberals (Virgil, 2010). In addition to
that, Jacob Virgil, along with four others, was able to determine that Republicans felt

The Doll s House by Katherine Mansfield Essay
Katherine Mansfield s The Dolls House seems to be a simple story about children
receiving a own ideas and opinions. Even though everyone is entitled to their own
opinion it is often bizarre to see how our opinions are based on those of others. This
essay will outline the events that occurred in the story which are a big part in
regards to the two different worlds of adults and children, and how they are separated
from each other.
The Dolls House is a story where you can see the cruelty of children towards each
other. This story is centered on the concept of three middle class girls who are given

Instead these two poor girls are from a mother, who is a washerwoman, and they do
not know who and where their father is but rumor is that the father is in jail. So
ideally the mothers of the children of middle minds with adult matters, children start
thinking like adults.
Another situation in the story that splits adulthood and childhood into two separate
worlds is when the Burnell children want to show their friends the new doll house,
but they are told by their mother that they can set up the doll house in the courtyard
but not allow their friends to come inside for tea or wander throughout the house.
Usually children are open hearted and when they have a friend over they want to
show them around their house, offer them a snack make them feel at home. But in
this story the mother of the Burnell children wants the children to stay outside and
not expect to be fed or be allowed in the house. The reason that the mother doesn t
want children to come inside is because they may mess up the house or break
something, and if she gives one child tea, she has to give others as well which may
turn out a bit expensive.
This particular short story is a satire about the two different worlds between adults
and children. It may be narrated by someone who perhaps may have been an adult
who was lost in a child s world, like an adult who still has a heart and soul of a child

the soviet union and showing signs of being socialist. He began confiscating Cuban
ground. Most of which belonged to North Americans. This required action from The
United States. The Bay of Pigs Invasion was planned and authorized under the
Eisenhower administration but before he could fallow through the invasion, Kennedy

In 1960 congress passed legislation enabling Eisenhower to take action against
Cuba. Including cutting off sugar purchases from Cuba, and an embargo on all
exports to Cuba beside food and medicine. We broke diplomatic relations in January
of 1961 before Kennedy took office. So under Kennedy the CIA trained and supplied
cuban exiles for an attack on Castro (Prados) . On April 17, 1961 1500 armed cuban
exiles landed on the south coast of Cuba, but they were met by Cuban troops and
defeated by April 20, 1961. All of the rebel were either killed or captured. Cuban
exile leader JosГ© MirГі Cardona, president of the U.S. based National

to authorize air cover for the invasion force. After the failed bay of Pigs invasion he
launched Operation mongoose in November of 1961. Operation Mongooses

1.1 Cultural Considerations of the Electric Car
We have the desire to create a new form of technology and get away from gasoline
cars. Electric cars are the future in transportation and will pave the way for the auto
industry in years to come. Even though we have not seen the results we need in
production, costs, and technology, people are positive they will soon catch on. In
this paper I will discuss the cultural considerations of the electric car. I will compare
the United States use of technology with other nations around the world such as
China. When comparing them, I will cover the main sources of the technology for
present electric cars and also the production. I will review America s innovation and
motivation in pursuing the electric car. Based on that I will name some leading car

Essay about Howard Stern
How might one explain Howard Stern? Yes, he is a refreshing change from the
typical, politically correct figure, and he provides humor and sex for late night
audiences who are growing weary of Leno and Letterman. And while Howard Stern,
shock jock turned television host, is more on the same wavelength as a Jerry
Springer than a late night comic, Stern has always claimed like Jerry that his show is
just an act.
The idea that Howard Stern could come close but not too close to naked women on
his television show, might have created the impression that this was just an act after
all. He would say things that any other husband could not get away with, and it was
okay, because it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although he has achieved remarkable success for an unremarkable act, he is
obviously not happy in his personal life. What Stern continues to do is to integrate
his radio persona with real life and in some ways, he cannot separate the two. What
most people know about Stern s one big mistake had nothing to do with a lesbian
bimbo getting too close, but rather his talking about Alison s miscarriage on the air.
That is what most know about Howard Stern. His life has been aired in the film
Private Parts and he tells the world how he feels every day. While he is flamboyant,
and pushes the envelope, one thing is true. Howard Stern is at least consistent. What
does this mean? While Stern on one hand objectifies women on the show, and then
talks about his wife lovingly, that is a contradiction. But he maintains that this act is
just that and both parts of that personality co exist.
Many wonder why the show is still on the air as it is somewhat offensive and really
does nothing new, even as the years go by. Ratings had in fact dropped for this
successful host, but they soon picked up again. Donovan reported that while Stern s
Saturday night show had been in the doldrums, the marital breakup had helped
ratings (Donovan 226). But one question remains. What will Stern do now that he is
on available again?
That is not an easy one to answer.
How Did George Washington Plan The Presidential Home
History:
In 1790 George Washington had hired Pierre L Enfant to plan the city and design the
presidential home. The plan by L Enfant s plan was four times larger than the
structure that is standing today. By 1792 L`Enfant had been dismissed due to his
exceedingly dominant handling of the city plans. In the absence of the original
architect a competition began to select the new architect of the presidential house.
James Hoban and Irish American was chosen after winning over George Washington
with his personality and designs.
George Washington laid the first cornerstone of the Whitehouse on October 13, 1972
in a freemason ceremony. The eight year construction was completed in 1800, with
George Washington overseeing the construction of the house he himself never
occupied. President John Adams was the first to live in the residence. When Thomas
Jefferson was elected in 1801 John Adams had put in so much work on the interior
design he did not want to leave but as it was the presidential home he unwillingly left
after only a few months in residence. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
was burned down by British to restore the White House just as it was
(whitehousemuseum.org). James Hoban returned to oversee and restore the house to
its original state, there were only a few structural changes during the reconstruction
the floor plan remained much the same. Construction was completed in 1817. The
front and rear porticos were added to the White House 1825 and 1830, when Thomas
Jefferson commissioned Benjamin Henry Latrobe to make architectural changes to
the mansion (Latrobe had done proposals that included porticos as early as 1807).
Additional changes followed in 1835, when running water and central heating were

Statement Of Ford Motor Company Income Statement
Income Statement Ford Motor Company The income statement is one of three
financial statements that stock investors need to become familiar with (the other
two are balance sheet and cash flow statement) (Loth, 2017). The income statement
is created of four sections: sales or revenue, cost of goods or services sold,
expenses, and net profit/loses. Sales/revenues is how much revenue the company
brought in by selling its products or services. Cost of goods/services sold is how
much the company spent to purchase or produce the products or services it sold.
Expenses is how much the company spent to keep the doors of the business open.
Essentially, this includes all expenses except those spent specifically on the cost of
goods or services sold. Net Profit or Loss: the bottom line that tells whether the
company made a profit or operated at a loss (Epstein,2014). This might lead you to
the question of what the purpose of the income statementis? Once you understand the
income statement you will understand how well a company is doing or not doing. In
this paper, it will analyze the income statement of Ford Motor companyfrom
December 2010 2012.
Purpose of an Income Statement The purpose of an income statement is to allow
companies, investors, accountants, and auditors to analyze the key and pertinent
items that lead to profit or loss from a different perspective by calculating each
number on the income statement as a percentage. This allows for an easier
Batman Vs The Dark Knight
It is challenging to find a movie that delivers on all cinematic aspects, and is able to
make the viewer feel intrigued, thrilled, and humored. Nonetheless, Christopher
Nolan s The Dark Knight fulfills all criteria for a masterpiece during its 152 minute
runtime. Nolan s realistic adaptation of the classical Batmanseries incorporates
interesting dialogue while remaining true to the original comics, and possesses the
detailed setting and talented actors that bring it to life.
After viewing The Dark Knight for more than 20 minutes, it is apparent that the
director, Christopher Nolan, spared no expense when casting the actors for the film.
The film s all star cast is composed of Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman,
Michael Caine, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Morgan Freeman. Yet, out of the entire A
list cast, there is one actor that stands out the most: the late Heath Ledger. Ledger s
portrayal of The Joker is able to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Furthermore, it brought forth the classic and bold voice of Batman, provided by
actor Christian Bale. Throughout the film, Bale has powerful lines while portraying
Batman; however, he also has noteworthy lines while playing the powerful
billionaire, Bruce Wayne. Some of Bale s quotes that easily come to mind is when
he was talking to Alfred, and said, [jokingly] Accomplice? I m going to tell them the
whole thing was your idea . Aside from the two foes, other characters had significant
lines, such as Alfred when he said the powerful line, Some men aren t looking for
anything logical like money. They can t be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated

included a thrilling and sometimes humorous dialogue, which all comes together as

Analysis of Friedrich NietzscheВґs Book 5 of The Gay...
Friedrich Nietzsche s own skepticism symbolized the secular changes in
contemporary Western civilization, in which he details mankind s break away from
faith into a new rule of chaos. In Book 5 of The Gay Science, Nietzsche establishes
that God is dead , meaning that modern Europe has abandoned religion in favor of
rationality and science (Nietzsche 279). From this death, the birth of a new infinite
blossoms in which the world is open to an unlimited amount of interpretations that do
not rely on the solid foundations of faith in religion or science. However, in contrast
to the other philosophers of his age such as Immanuel Kantand Georg Wilhelm
Friedrich Hegel, Nietzsche deviates from the omniscient determinism of history
towards a... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Despite such claims, Nietzsche criticizes this mistaken idea that the knowledge of
the universe can be comprehended by any method; he argues that not even the most
scrupulously conscientious analysis and self examination of the intellect cannot
successfully interpret the progressive history of the world as the human intellect
cannot avoid seeing itself in [only] its perspectives (Nietzsche 336). To Nietzsche,
Kant and Hegel s attempts to find truth in history is faulty because faith is just now
found in science and reasoning rather than religion. What Kant and Hegel fail to
realize is that the human race s separation from this faith gave rise to our new
infinite , in which the world has become infinite for [humanity] all over again,
inasmuch as we cannot reject the possibility that it may include infinite
interpretations (Nietzsche 336). Thus the new infinite is self consciously made by
the individual members of humanity itself, as we can now independently interpret
the world ourselves as we see fit. Nietzsche declares that even if some of these
interpretations may include too much devilry, stupidity and foolishness , it does not
matter because it does not rely on faith (Nietzsche 336). The new infinite that arises
is ours, in which the abundance of perspectives is too overwhelming for any scholar
to give meaning to such chaos. There is no logical reason how such disorder should
Muckraking Essay
There s an overwhelming number of sources for news to reach the public. There is
Fox news, CNN, BBC, NBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post,
Propublica (a non profit), and NPR, just to name eight. All these news sources
impact our daily lives as we make tough decisions on things like who our president
will be, what kind of food we eat or don t eat, or what kind of people we like or don
t like. Some journalism exposes things that other people don t want exposed. This
type of journalism is called Muckraking. Jessica Mitford, an investigative journalist,
described muckraking in her book, Poison Penmanship: The Art of Muckraking, as
high honor in the world of journalism. Muckraking must be disassociated with the

Other than the occasional muckraker whose journalism does not affect the public in
a positive manner, muckraking is a high honor in the world of journalism.
Unfortunately, there is also a negative to journalism and specifically journalism
online. People will believe what they want to whether it is true or not. Alex Jones :
Infowars is a perfect example of this. This source of news is quite frankly just
ridiculous, even so, people will get sucked in and believe it because it s on the
internet and does talk about real events happening in the world, however it s a joke.
It is dangerous to have sources like Infowars because we tend to be more interested
in these types of website and we no longer recognize real reporting, the news that can
actually impact our lives positively. People such as John Spargo, one of the founders
of the socialist party in America, are successful muckrakers. Spargo lived in
England but emigrated to America and brought with him a few socialist members.
He became a controversial figure in the socialist party after he wrote his books The
Bitter Cry of Children and Underfed School Children to expose the mistreatment of
child laborers. By exposing this issue of child labor to the world, Spargo led the
United States into many reforms on child labor and education,
Edward R Murrow Essay
Edward R. Murrow was the most influential figure in the history of broadcast
journalism. Egbert Roscoe Murrow was born on April 25th, 1908 on a small farm
in Polecat Creek, North Carolina, which is located near Greensboro, North Carolina.
His family moved to a small town near the Canadian border in Washington State
when he was six years old. When he was in high school, he changed his name to the
now iconic Edward R. Murrow. (Bernstein 40) I found that Mr. Murrow had three
utmost important topics that were very endearing and focused mostly on them with
total honesty, and those were in relation to Senators, Communism and Nazis. Edward

(Wesherba 15) He pioneered live international radio broadcasts during the early
days of World War II. His work set the standards for fair minded reporting. Towards
the end of his career, his efforts even brought about the downfall of one of America
s most notorious Senators. Joseph R. McCarthy, the Republican Senator of
Wisconsin, began a campaign quest against communistic influence. Most people
witnessed it as a diligent search for renegades by an enthusiastic loyalist, and then
others perceived it to be a federalist opportunity, by victimizing situations in order
to gain political impact by browbeating the public. The circumstances surrounding
McCarthy, was overwhelmed with feelings and emotions since television gave very
little detail and was treated with kid gloves. Edward Murrow broke the realism
about McCarthy on the evening of March 9, 1954, by sharing video footage that
shown that the Senator was up to no good, and was abusing his political power to do
so. Murrow and co editor Fred Friendly gave controversial information on the man
and his shenanigans. In turn, the realization of what Senator McCarthy was truly
about, and the evidence that Murrow presented in a live broadcast, eventually

Taking a Look at Marian Anderson
Successful classical soprano performer Leontyne Price was one of the first artists to
benefit from Marian Anderson s hard work and dedication. The day after Marian
Anderson s death, April 8th, 1993 Price discussed the ways in which Anderson was
able to overcome obstacles while remaining consistently professional and keeping the
high standards she set on her performances. Marian Andersonwas born on February
27, 1897. She was considered one of the most celebrated African American artists
of the twentieth century. Anderson identified herself as a contralto, which is the
lowest frequency female voice with in a choir. Although Anderson is classified as
a classical vocalist her repertoire included many genres such as opera, traditional
American songs, concert literature and spirituals. Her live performances spanned
the years of 1925 to 1965. The majority of her performances were recitals or
concerts, some of which took place within major venues. Through Anderson s
successful career she paved a path for many other African American vocal artists to
follow. This paper explores the ways in which Marian Anderson s career, from her
early beginnings, struggle for recognition, and worldwide acclaim shaped her identity
as a representation for African American vocalists after her to follow. Marian
Anderson was born in PhiladelphiaPennsylvania and spent the majority of her
childhood years in Philadelphia. Her parents were John Berkley Anderson, an
entrepreneur who sold liquor, ice and
Dementia Issues
Older people are said to be a vulnerable group in society and it is notable that those
with dementia are at a significant increase torisk of abuse, (see Manthorpe, et al
2005). The author of this paper spent her placement in an adult social work team
for a local authority, for people age 65 years and over. It soon became apparent that
different types of dementia seemed to permeate the caseload. The cases were
initially referred to social services due to challenges faced by a person to maintain
daily living tasks after a fall and hospital admission for example. Fundamentally, the
majority of cases were people with a form of dementia, and each case was as
complicated as the next. In order to highlight not only the physical but the emotional

One in three people who die after the age of 65 are found to have dementia, and of

Ghent Altarpiece By Jan Van Eyck Analysis
The Ghent Altarpiece by Jan Van Eyck, is a piece of art worth writing about. The
subject matter of this work of art is God enthroned with golden jewelry, fine
clothing, and just basically surrounded by gold and is even sitting on a golden
throne. I think the content is quite simple. I think Van Eyck is trying to say that
God is a ruler that deeply values worldly things. This contradicts the belief that God
is an advocate for self sacrifice and humbleness. I would say that this artwork is
representational due to the fact that this image is not distorted in any way and it also
somewhat refers to the natural world. God, in this image, is dressed like a benevolent
king. It doesn t include any unworldly things. It most likely represents the cultural...

You could also notice implied lines in the sacrificing scene below God. Most of the
people in the middle of the image are looking in the same direction. That direction
being toward the sacrificial lamb. It could also be seen in the two sections of the
work to the left and right of the scene with the lamb. There are soldiers and other
people that also seem to be looking toward the lamb. In this painting, one big thing
stings out to me involving light. In the scene where the lamb is about to be
sacrificed, there is a mixture of light and dark used. The contrast of light and dark
is used to show the dramatic nature in this particular scene. I would describe this as
chiaroscuro since it is a more gradual transition. I think this also focuses the viewer
s attention to the main scene in the artwork. For example, the brightest spot of this
particular scene is the lamb on the table. It helps show its importance. There is also
use of tenebrism in this work. On the far left and right are images of what appear
to be Adam and Eve. There is a very sharp contrast of light and dark in this image. I
think it is there to provide a sense of importance toward the two
Accounting Information System
Discussion I. I. Accounting information system is a combination of collecting,
recording, storing, and processing data of a business.
The advancement of technology initiates business firms to seek for new innovations
that would greatly help in business functions. As what Dillon and Kruck (2004) had
explained, at the start of the 21st century, business organizations are facing an
explosion of global competition and innovation and facilitating this explosion is the
increasing ability of organizations to make good business decisions based on the large
amounts of information their enterprise produces . In this environment, it is
necessary for a successful business to integrate information technology into its basic
process. And with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With the six components of AIS the three important business functions would be met.
One of the business functions is to get and store information about business
operations, resources, and personnel (K.T. Smith amp; M.L. Smith, 2002). Another
function is to make the data useful for decision making so that the management can
control, work, plan, and check its activities, resources, and the personnel (Vitez,
2010). Finally because of the components of AIS the business can give right control
to ensure the safety of assets, authorize the transactions and to safeguard the
reliability and accuracy of the accounting records to prevent the problems that will
arise in an organization (Herrera, n.d.). AIS design is affected by three factors as
indicated by K.T. Smith amp; M.L. Smith (2002) are organizational culture, strategy,
and information technology, in connection to this matter information technology is
used to enhance the performance of the AIS in a business while to understand more
the strategies of the organization and how information technology affect the design of
AIS, strategies and information technology should be incorporated to develop the
current strategies and AIS design and it must reflect also the traits of the
organizational culture. According to Dillon and Kruck (2004) in recent years the
accounting information technology has changed the environment dominated by
mainframe computers that were specialized only for the recording of business

I attended the Alley Theater s production of The Foreigner on July 31st at 7:30 pm.
I had actually gone with a classmate, Amina to watch the play and on the way there
we got lost. I was very frustrated because they did not have a temporary sign,

badly. On our way there we went a little ahead and the GPS told us to make left and
that road was a do not enter road and on the other side there was a car coming so
Amina had to turn the car quickly, before we crashed. We finally got to the Alley

the temporary Alley should have done a better organization for the theater. All... Show

What Is Rickets?
Alishia Keef
Virginia College
What Is Rickets? Rickets is a disease of bone most commonly caused worldwide by
a deficiency of vitamin D. The deficiency may be caused by a lack of vitamin D in
the diet, a lock of exposure to sunlight, or a problem the body has with absorbing or
using vitamin D. Rickets is characterized by improper hardening of the bones,
resulting in skeletal deformities if left untreated. Rickets affects primarily infants and
children because bone growth occurs during childhood. Rickets can occur for a
number of reasons. According to Nutrition and Well Being A to Z, The term itself is

History of the Perfect Number
The perfect number is a positive integer that is equal to the sum of its proper
divisors. Earlier definitions of a perfect number were aliquot parts of a number. An
aliquot part means a proper quotient of a number. According to Webster s dictionary,
the term perfect number was first used in the 14th century. The discovery of such
numbers was lost in prehistory. The smallest perfect numberis six. It is the sum of its
divisors one, two, and three. Other perfect numbers are twenty eight, 128, and 496. In
the paragraphs below I will talk about the history of the perfect number and Euclid s
theorem and the founder of the perfect number.
The first four perfect numbers were known to the ancients Greeks over 2,000 years
ago. Some cultures back then gave mystic interpretations to the numbers and thought
they were magic. The first four perfect numbers were six, twenty eight, 496, and
8,128. Of the two dozen perfect numbers now known, all of them are even numbers.
If there are any odd perfect numbers they are quite big, are well over 300 digits long,
and have multiple prime factors.
The ancient Christian scholar Augustine said, ‟That God could have created the
world in an instant but he chose to do it in a perfect number of six days. Many
times the twenty eight day cycle of the moon around the earth was given as an
example of a Heavenly or a perfect event that naturally was a perfect number. The
number six is perfect in itself. Historians and discovers believe it is a perfect

To overcome this, the resources must be used wisely so that coming generations can
get benefit and ensure that there are enough resources left for them. For a mining
company there is always a requirement to keep balance between society, environment
and economy. If there will be a change in any of the measurement then alternate
measurement will also get affected.
The four essential zones which influence sustainability are procedure or operations,
education, group interest and future conditions. These four regions of sustainability
can be connected to the mining firms. If the company is aware about industry the
operations going on the sites that effects the health of people and environment then
organization should take wise steps to control bad effects of their operations.
Mining operations are always considered as environment unfriendly. It is no doubt
that some of the mine sites are located away from the residential or urban areas but
still they effect the people of workers over the sites with the emission of gases . The
large numbers of small and medium and big mining ventures are located in Australia
which are good for profit and economy but not as good for the environment as other
Case Study Of Airbnb
1.Introduction
The current cultural tourism industry resembles a corporate battlefield with intense
competition ranging from existing players to new entrants.
The primary weakness of WTS Travel and Tourism Private Limited (WTS Travel) lies
with not keeping up with the technological progress in the cultural tourism industry,
its online booking services competitors like Expedia have already captured a large
portion of the cultural tourism industry. Therefore, to thrive in this disruptive nature
of the new economy, WTS Travel must tap on is the rising use of Airbnb (Goldman
Sachs, 2016). Airbnb is a rapidly expanding peer to peer marketplace and homestay
where homeowners can rent out their local homes to travelers.
This report will recommend WTS Travel to work with Airbnb to take advantage of
the aforementioned trend ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With Airbnb, users can better understand the local culture by staying in a native s
house and exploring the heartlands as a local (Varma et al , 2016).
Additionally, Airbnb s homes are not only cheaper but also deliver quality cultural
experiences. Airbnb prices are largely lower than conventional accommodations
like hotels (Guttentag, 2015 ; Olson et al, 2016; Varma et al , 2016 ). Furthermore,
only Airbnb accommodations with high ratings and great reviews will be selected
for WTS X Airbnb packages because potential customers also look for
accommodations with higher review ratings rather than simply looking at the price
(Varma et al , 2016). By doing so, it will cater to this specialized segment looking for
local experience away from commercialized areas.
Airbnb is also crafting an app, Magical Trips (Appendix B) which acts like a
personal tour guide recommending travelers cultural places, historical trails and
explaining history of cultural locations. This could replace tour guides for F E
travellers.

A Report On The Price Of The Dollar
Following the Brexit vote on the 23rd of June 2016, the pound fell to 31 year low
against the dollar, falling from $1.50 to $1.33 in a matter of hours. The sharp
devaluation of the pound against the dollar made AB InBev s all cash offer
unattractive to SAB s shareholders, who were to be compensated in sterling, and
made the partial share alternative a lot more attractive. Therefore, SAB stakeholders,
excluding Altria and BevCo, rejected the offer, threatening to drop the deal.
Eventually, after strenuous negotiations, on the 25th of July AB s board agreed to
raise the offer once more:
The All cash consideration was raised by ВЈ1 to a total of ВЈ45 per SAB share. The
revised offer represents a 53% premium to SABMiller s closing price on ... Show

As a monopolist, it would ve then had control over the price of beer sold to
consumers and therefore an indirect influence on the inflation rate of the countries it
serves.
In order to reach an agreement with the numerous Competition Commissions, AB
InBev agreed to satisfy various conditions to dilute its post merger market power in
the major countries:
To appease the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, AB agreed to cede its 58%
ownership of the MillerCoors brand to Molson Coors for $12 billion and to
accommodate greater competition from craft breweries.
To appease the European Commission, based in Brussels, AB agreed to give up
practically all of the European brands previously owned by SABMiller to the
Japanese brewer Asahi, who was looking to expand its business to the European
market. Therefore, Anhauser Bush initially sold Peroni, Grolsh and Meantime to the
Japanese brewer for $2.5 billion and, a short time later, also sold another four brands
such as Pilsner Urquell and Tiskie for $7.8 billion.
Finally, to appease the Ministry of Commerce of the People s Republic of China,
Ab Agreed to divest its 49% stake in CR Snow, selling it to CRB for $1.2 billion, its
major competitor in the Asian beer market.
AB InBev s acceptance to divestures in the various markets denotes the company s
little interest in countries other than the African one. Africa

  • 2. The Divine Command Theorist Approach Making decisions can be easy at times when it does not require much thought; however, it can be complicated, especially when it involves people s lives. If, for instance, there is a boat holding seventy five people but it should only hold fifty in order to ensure the safety of the passengers and lessen the risk of the boat sinking, who will be asked to leave the boat? There are also one hundred individuals in the water whose lives must be considered; what can be done in a tight situation such as this one where time is not in your hands? It is important to remember only fifty people can be saved while one hundred and twenty five individuals might die. This can prove to be a strenuous and gut wrenching challenge. There are several different ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In this situation this theory would suggest to do what is just, but overall what God believes to be right. According to this theory, God believes that the people on the boat as well as those in the water should not be left to die. The people on the boat cannot morally abandon the rest and leave them to die. A divine command theorist pays very close attention to every person on the boat as well as the those in the water. Overall, the individual will make a decision based on what is thought to be good by God despite not establishing what is wrong or right, as mentioned by Plato, making it debatable (Vaughn 17). Since divine theorists view the Ten Commandments as God s morals codes, it is suggested by such theorist that by choosing to leave a great amount of the individuals behind, it is immoral; God says individuals shall help their neighbor. With this information, there comes a time in which God, himself, has to make these types of decisions, and by believing in him, a divine theorist will unfortunately sacrifice some people, but not without saving as many people as they possibly can. • 4. Meaning Triangle Paper This paper extends the Meaning Triangle (Sowa, 1997) and creates a broad research framework called the Research Pyramid for positioning the current literature and identifying new AIS research questions or ideas. The framework is comprised of four constructs: objects, concepts, symbols, and AIS (component(s)) that are connected along the pyramid s edges, referred to as primitive mapping. Descriptions of four common researchmethodologies in this field are presented (design science, field studies, surveys, and lab experiments) and accompany the placement of current literature amongst the four framework constructs as an evaluative tool. Primitive mapping is discussed amongst two construct, three construct, and four construct combinations; emphasis is added that the mappings are bi directional and therefore the approach taken to examine said relationship should encompass this. An approach to mapping literature to the framework is provided along with steps to take in order to potentially identify areas that have not been extensively covered by prior research. The purpose of this paper is to create a rudimentary framework to expand future AIS research opportunities by examining current literature patterns [topical and methodological] based on broad constructs. In the beginning of the paper the authors take on a broad definition of AIS. They recognize that AIS goes beyond financial accounting systems and is based on the processing of transactions, providing performance

The story can be read as a combination of the naturalistic novel and the sentimental romance, both very popular around the turn of the century. London also brings into play literary naturalism, in which human beings are characterized as just another species in nature, subject to all of Her cosmic forces. The Sea Wolf fits almost perfectly the archetypal pattern of an initiation story. Two elements of the naturalistic novel are present in The Sea Wolf humans fighting nature, humans fighting one another. Jack London also uses another popular genre of the time the romance novel. This novel is very much about Humphrey Van Weyden and Maud Brewster falling in love. As soon as Humphrey sets eyes on her he s entranced: She seemed to me like a being from another world; she smiled amusedly and sweetly, as only a woman can smile (142). She was like a feather in my arms, so slender, so ethereal (276). Humphrey knew for a long time that he was deeply in love with her, but she didn t realize that she reciprocated the feelings until late in the novel. When she finally realized it, she smiled a most adorable smile, whimsical as I had never seen it, for it was whimsical with love (284). This combination of the naturalistic novel and the romance novel brings out the best sides of both and allows for a very interesting novel. Throughout the novel, London brings somewhat into play the ideas of literary naturalism, in which human beings are treated as just another species. Many times, the idea is introduced of the enormity of nature and the fact that humans are subject to all of the cosmic forces. When trying to fix up the Ghost, Humphrey and Maud run into many problems resulting from the destructive forces of nature. At one point, Humphrey is blown off

Comparing Matthew, Mark, And Luke Matthew, Mark, and Luke offered various versions to the same story of Jesus returning to his hometown, teaching his community, and then the community reacting to his teaching; while these stories had their similarities, they also had their differences. Luke s account differed the most widely from the other two, and by adding prophetic material from Isaiah, Luke expounded upon the reason for Jesus being rejected by his home town and offered a reasonable and more detailed explanation for the behavior and the townsfolk s reaction presented in both Matthew and Mark. The language and meaning within Matthew, despite some differences, resembled that of in Mark, however the language and meaning within Luke deviated from the example set forth in Matthew and Mark. The first time a difference between Matthew, Mark, and Luke was presented, was in the opening line. Matthew and Mark did not identify Jesus hometown, while Luke says Nazareth and expanded upon it saying, where he had been brought up (Luke 4:16). Luke in his account went into a more detailed version of his story, therefore he would not be satisfied with just hometown (Matthew 13:54, Mark 6:1). Luke throughout his gospel added more detail than Matthew and Mark in order to clearly articulate the story. He had to name the town and describe that was where Jesus had been brought up (Luke 4:16). Luke needed to describe all the action that occurred in order to have a sufficient retelling of this particular story.

Whilst the hallmark of a capitalist economy is self interest and competition, cooperation is also necessary in order to further efficiency and productivity. For a business to be successful, the people within need to develop relationships amongst each other as well as outside the organization in order to be able to work with one another. These relationships are a function of trust. Trust is the reliance on the integrity, ability, or character of a person or thing. While loyalty is not easily quantifiable, and thus does not show up in a corporate ledger, it will affect the company s overall performance. Because trust is a vital part of loyalty, it follows that creating trust amongst employees by treating them respectfully is likely to result in improved company performance and efficiency. This once again provides a quantifiable measure for trust in a capitalist economy. Trust is also dependent upon not lying. Companies that lie about their product are in essence diminishing the trust established among their customers and the community. This can be anything from providing misleading information about their products in advertisements or stating obvious falsehoods . For example, an obvious falsehood would be a deodorant company that claims that the user of the product is likely to attract women as a result of the product itself. Lying is always wrong because it undermines the trust that makes telling the truth useful. If no one could be trusted , and everyone lied about what they did, the business world would fall apart quickly as a business could not be assured of any one else s services. A business would not be able to do something as simple as take a loan out of a bank to afford its various activities. This is because banks would not trusting a business to repay the loan as in a capitalist economy paying back a loan would not be in a business self interest. Thus in such an environment, all of business comes to a

Maximum monthly loss is in June: $60,750. The maximum cumulative borrowing balance is $99,000 in February. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In both cases, the need for borrowing grows rather dramatically. While the base case cumulative maximum is $99,000 in February, the 20% case is $214,752 and the 50% case is a whopping $699,252. In these latter two cases, the cumulative maximums occur in June, but the negative balances are building month by month. Not one month in the 20% and 50% scenarios has a cumulative cash surplus, although the 20% case shows a couple of months with positive cash flows. Addressing the worksheet that reflects the change in the collection pattern, how does this affect the need for short term financing? How large a credit line would the clinic require as compared with the base case? Since outflows are occurring at the same rate, but inflows are slower, one would expect the need for short term financing to rise in the early months. In fact, this occurs: there is a $139,000 max in February vs. the base case s $99,000 max in February. Note, however, that cumulative cash surpluses in the slower collection scenario outpace the base case surpluses in May and June. Finally, based on the entire scenario analysis, and what you know about the need for some surplus cash reserves, what would you recommend as the ideal line of credit to pursue from First Bank? I would recommend a credit line of about $200,000, since this would easily cover the base case maximum cumulative cash shortfall of $99,000, and

The Meaning Of Life Essay Over the course of history, the entirety of the human race has been in a state of constant reflection upon what it truly means to partake in society s mutual continuance. For the common man, the meaning of life seems to be a concept that sits beyond one s reach. Such an abstract thought is almost exclusively reserved for those who have passed on from this world. This is because of the fact that they enjoy the privilege of simply asking whoever waits for them up above in Heaven or down below in Hell. Few lucky members of humanity have achieved such a level of enlightenment while on Earth where they are able to understand what it truly means to exist. Despite the humantendency to lack insight, when carefully analyzed, the question what is the meaning of lifebecomes rather simplistic. While one endeavours upon the journey that is characterized as life, it is necessary that they experience three major aspects that encompass what it means to live. While a person prevails over existence, they must experience suffering, learn about the world around them, and know the full depth of human affection whether it be for another person, a non intelligent being, or materialistic item. Throughout a person s life, suffering is inevitable. Those who take advantage of their short time on Earth will no doubt experience suffering in many a way or form. First off, mental anguish is commonplace around the world, being both the most prevalent and irreparable form of suffering. Modern

Although he has achieved remarkable success for an unremarkable act, he is obviously not happy in his personal life. What Stern continues to do is to integrate his radio persona with real life and in some ways, he cannot separate the two. What most people know about Stern s one big mistake had nothing to do with a lesbian bimbo getting too close, but rather his talking about Alison s miscarriage on the air. That is what most know about Howard Stern. His life has been aired in the film Private Parts and he tells the world how he feels every day. While he is flamboyant, and pushes the envelope, one thing is true. Howard Stern is at least consistent. What does this mean? While Stern on one hand objectifies women on the show, and then talks about his wife lovingly, that is a contradiction. But he maintains that this act is just that and both parts of that personality co exist. Many wonder why the show is still on the air as it is somewhat offensive and really does nothing new, even as the years go by. Ratings had in fact dropped for this successful host, but they soon picked up again. Donovan reported that while Stern s Saturday night show had been in the doldrums, the marital breakup had helped ratings (Donovan 226). But one question remains. What will Stern do now that he is on available again? That is not an easy one to answer.

Statement Of Ford Motor Company Income Statement Income Statement Ford Motor Company The income statement is one of three financial statements that stock investors need to become familiar with (the other two are balance sheet and cash flow statement) (Loth, 2017). The income statement is created of four sections: sales or revenue, cost of goods or services sold, expenses, and net profit/loses. Sales/revenues is how much revenue the company brought in by selling its products or services. Cost of goods/services sold is how much the company spent to purchase or produce the products or services it sold. Expenses is how much the company spent to keep the doors of the business open. Essentially, this includes all expenses except those spent specifically on the cost of goods or services sold. Net Profit or Loss: the bottom line that tells whether the company made a profit or operated at a loss (Epstein,2014). • 27. Analysis of Friedrich NietzscheВґs Book 5 of The Gay... Friedrich Nietzsche s own skepticism symbolized the secular changes in contemporary Western civilization, in which he details mankind s break away from faith into a new rule of chaos. In Book 5 of The Gay Science, Nietzsche establishes that God is dead , meaning that modern Europe has abandoned religion in favor of rationality and science (Nietzsche 279). From this death, the birth of a new infinite blossoms in which the world is open to an unlimited amount of interpretations that do not rely on the solid foundations of faith in religion or science. However, in contrast to the other philosophers of his age such as Immanuel Kantand Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, Nietzsche deviates from the omniscient determinism of history towards a... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Despite such claims, Nietzsche criticizes this mistaken idea that the knowledge of the universe can be comprehended by any method; he argues that not even the most scrupulously conscientious analysis and self examination of the intellect cannot successfully interpret the progressive history of the world as the human intellect cannot avoid seeing itself in [only] its perspectives (Nietzsche 336). To Nietzsche, Kant and Hegel s attempts to find truth in history is faulty because faith is just now found in science and reasoning rather than religion. What Kant and Hegel fail to realize is that the human race s separation from this faith gave rise to our new infinite , in which the world has become infinite for [humanity] all over again, inasmuch as we cannot reject the possibility that it may include infinite interpretations (Nietzsche 336). Thus the new infinite is self consciously made by the individual members of humanity itself, as we can now independently interpret the world ourselves as we see fit. Nietzsche declares that even if some of these interpretations may include too much devilry, stupidity and foolishness , it does not matter because it does not rely on faith (Nietzsche 336). The new infinite that arises is ours, in which the abundance of perspectives is too overwhelming for any scholar to give meaning to such chaos. There is no logical reason how such disorder should

There are soldiers and other people that also seem to be looking toward the lamb. In this painting, one big thing stings out to me involving light. In the scene where the lamb is about to be sacrificed, there is a mixture of light and dark used. The contrast of light and dark is used to show the dramatic nature in this particular scene. I would describe this as chiaroscuro since it is a more gradual transition. I think this also focuses the viewer s attention to the main scene in the artwork. For example, the brightest spot of this particular scene is the lamb on the table. It helps show its importance. There is also use of tenebrism in this work.
