Safe Water Drinking And Pollution
In today s society, we face a large set of problems that affect each and every person every single day.
Throughout the semester, there have been several different instances that have shown the importance
of truly understanding what these issues are and how some of these issues can be fixed. The main
environmental issue that I am going to discuss I this paper is safe water drinking and pollution, as
pollution directs towards to the hazardous we do to it by simply polluting as well as how some of our
pollution affects the air and living conditions that we face. I chose this environmental issue because I
find it to be one of the largest issues that the whole world faces, especially here in Northwest Indiana,
which not enough people take as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are such strategies that must help address any concerns, foster development in new strategies,
protect the water, and work together in developing access to the water systems. These initiatives of
people who are looking to ensure safe water is continuously looked over by larger groups of people
and acts such as the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, Safe Drinking Water Act, and even people
like the Natural resources Conservation Service and the Environmental Protection Agency. What
people sometimes forget is that under these acts, while there are people who are looking to help
support these initiatives, the people who embrace the world must practice better strategies that will
embrace these acts and support groups to help ensure that water will be safe for drinking. Many
people forget that water is not just a free good to us for use at any time, because if the water supply
were to ever be completely damaged and polluted, the outreach for fresh, safe water to drink would be
minimal, therefore a struggle for people in America as well as around the world. Water is arguably the
most important natural resource to us here on Earth and should not be used and abused. There are
several different things that people can work towards to help make things better. The main three types
of ways to help assist all these acts the government and other support groups can do is to advertise
support groups, advertise about contamination and also advertise

Essay on Thessalonians
Thessalonians Thessalonians is based on two different letters that was written to the Christian
community in Thessalonica. The purpose of the first letter was to clear up some of the
misunderstandings about the return of Christ. The second letters purpose was to still clear up some of
the misunderstandings about the Day of the Lord for they thought the day had already come. The first
letter to the Christian community was sent from Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, though Paul was the
main author. Paul was writing to them to clear up their misunderstandings about the return of Christ,
also considers it as instructions in holy living. Paul wrote about his longing to visit the church in
Thessalonica but he couldn t because Satan had stopped ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are many arguments about when the 2 Thessalonians was written, because they believe that Paul
did not write the letter. Depending on the actual authorship of the letter would be what the date of it
was written would depend on. Stating that if the letter was written by someone else but in Paul s name,
it is said that it may have been wrote in the late first or perhaps the early second CE. With that being
said it is not sure on the exact date or time frame that the 2 Thessalonians was wrote. With many
opinions about the date and who wrote the 2 Thessalonians it will not be known until the authorship of
the letter is cleared up. There is enough evidence on when 1 Thessalonians was written. How they
correspond the dates to when he was traveling and that he was on his mission in Corinthian, which
would be around the 49 51 CE. Paul was writing the letter to the churches of Thessalonica which is
the capital of the Roman province of Macedonia. His purpose of writing was to praise them on their
faith and love that Timothy had brought and to focus on the instruction on how to live their Christian
lives. Paul was writing this letter while he was on his mission in Corinthian where he was farther
south in the province of Achaia. He wants the letter to be read aloud to all his brothers which means
all his believers in Thessalonica. In 1 Thessalonians 4:3 4 it is confirmed of the conclusion that the
churches of Thessalonica was mostly composed of gentile

Drinking Water Supplies And Natural Aquatic Systems
Sydney Water Supplies By: Dilu Arulanandarajah Describe why drinking water supplies and natural
aquatic systems are subject to regular monitoring. It is very important for that water quality is
monitored in water supplies and natural aquatic systems because it an essential resource for living
organisms, industrial process, irrigation and domestic use. Water quality monitoring can be defined as
a process used to monitor surface and ground water by using different methods to gain information
about a body of water. Monitoring water quality is important for a number of reasons. Firstly so that
trends in the water quality can be detected. These trends are important in in determining the quality of
water such the mineral content within it. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Catchment Authority defines a catchment as an area where water is collected by the natural landscape.
When water is collected by dams or weirs or by tapping into ground water it is called a water supply
system. Dams are usually built are large rivers to give a more permanent supply of water. There are 11
major dams in Sydney that store water in five catchments which are Warragamba, Shoalhaven, Upper
Nepean, Woronora and Blue Mountains. These 5 main catchments of water cover 16.000 km2 of land
and hold 2,500 billion litres of water while providing 4 million people with water. Warragamba
Catchment Warragamba Dam is the biggest catchment in Sydney and voters about 9,500km2. This
catchment is mainly used for cattle and sheep grazing because of the wilderness in the centre of the
catchment. More than 25% of the catchment is protected from human activities for over 70 years
because it is home to the spotted tail quoll, eastern pygmy possum, Rosenberg s goanna and three
threatened species of owls. The dam is created by damming the Warragamba River and flooding

The Rent On Their Honest Tenants
the rent on their honest tenants. 12C Moreover, the estimates do not take into consideration the
secondary cost to society. 12D Critics perceive, aid to counsel will cause frivolous lawsuits in an
already overly litigious society. 33 The impact from this cost can harm landlords bottom line affecting
their chances from receiving loans from banks and access to credit. 34
There are possibilities for a frivolous lawsuit, but the severity of the housing crisis trumps frivolous
lawsuits that are unlikely to make it to trial. The proponents of the frivolous lawsuit argument are
similar to the voting ID argument. It is unfounded that voting ID fraud is rampant, however, the
chances of this happening is less than 1%. 32 One percent is a nominal figure that does not raise a
situation to code red and allows for the disenfranchisement of whole sections of voters. Similarly, the
possibility of a nominal number of frivolous lawsuits brought by indigent litigants should not
disenfranchise the right to representation in housing court. Most importantly, there safeguards and
screening put in place to reduce the chances of frivolous lawsuits. For example, attorneys must listen
and evaluate a case using their legal knowledge to determine if a case is meritless or not. In addition,
the court and the judge must examine the case and can make a determination if the case is meritless or
not. Moreover, landlords bring eviction cases, not tenants.35 Therefore, indigent litigants cannot

Essay on Faith as a Basis of Knowledge in Religion
According to the bible in Hebrews 11:1 faith is said to be an assurance of things that are hoped for,
evidence of things that are unseen, on the other hand, faith is generally defined as a strong assurance
based on assumptions but not a certain decision based on evidence. Throughout history faith as basis
of knowledge has been regarded as a controversial issue, especially in religion. This is mainly because
religion is archaic, there are no traces of evidence but people strongly believe in it and they consider it
as the truth. In science as the other area of knowledge, faith is founded on philosophies that scientist
have proposed and disproved based on data. Nonetheless, faith is something that s very personal and a

accounts such as the virgin birth of Jesus, the burning bush witnessed by Moses and the walking on

many people have stated that their religion is true and real; however there is a lot of emotion entangled

something that s beyond their religion, considering the fact that there is no justification and evidence
which makes it an even more fallible assumption. On the other hand, with religion comes faith and
what faith tries to do, is to enlighten that the

Cattle Industry
The dairy and cattle industry is a major part of society it basically is apart of every community. The
dairy and cattle industries have been around since the beginning of time and are vital to society and
has grown immensely. Farmers and ranchers now use inventions and special breeds of cows to
produce the best and highest quality beef and milk. In this paper there are many facts that show how
the dairy industry grow. Many things have caused the dairy industry to boom but there are three main
points are needed to understand the boom. In order to understand how the boom of the cattle and dairy
industry one needs to understand the inventions, the demand for dairy products and the diversity in the
industry. Many inventions have been involved in helping the dairy and cattle industry grow. These
allow cows to be safer and live in more comfortable and help them produce more milk. New breeding
techniques have lead to cows giving more milk (Kurlansky n.p.). These new technique have lead to

These different areas and fields are mostly based on the breeds of cattle. Distinct breeds did not
emerge until the second half of the 18th century when the industrial revolution in Europe required
more productive animals (Ritchie 1). This is because they had now made vehicles to use to move
equipment instead of cows. Also, this caused many people to bring up cows for only their milk or beef
instead of for pulling and lugging things around. Old triple purpose (meat/milk/draft) native cattle
types that had been raised for centuries began to decline, and in their place, more productive double
and single purpose cattle were bred. This has lead to cows that have a single purpose and the breeds
are better at producing specified product, for example Holsteins are specially bred to produce the
maximum amount of milk. All of the new breeds have lead to the cattle and beef industry growing

Process Essay On Unfamiliar Vehicle Driving

Whether you are renting a car, borrowing a friend s vehicle, or test driving a vehicle, being able to
safely operate an unfamiliar vehicle is important, and there are several steps you can take to driver
safer when operating an unfamiliar vehicle.
Ask the owner or another driver who knows the vehicle well to explain any unusual features.
Familiarize yourself with the vehicle before taking it on any major roads. This is especially important
for a new driver or for someone who has driven the same vehicle for a long time and does not have

Test the brakes before you need them. You may need to hit them sooner or harder than you would with
your usual vehicle. In some cases, the brakes may require less pressure than your normal vehicle.
Understanding the brakes before you take off can help you to apply the right pressure at the right time.
If you are driving a larger vehicle, create a larger pocket of space around your vehicle than you think
you need. If you normally drive a smaller vehicle, you may misjudge the size of your larger vehicle.
You may need to turn off the radio and eliminate other distractions when driving an unfamiliar
vehicle.
If the vehicle has a manual transmission and you have only driven an automatic, make sure someone
teaches you how to drive a manual transmission before you attempt to take it on the road. Empty
parking lots and rural roads are often good choices for learning to drive a manual transmission vehicle.

Environmental Issues Of Invasive Mussels
There are many environmental issues across the world. They range from many different areas. In the
oceanic category of environmental issues, invasive mussels are a vast issue to our man made waters
and lakes. There are many types of invasive mussels in our lakelets. To illustrate: Zebra and Quagga
mussels. We must become aware, and raise awareness as to what they are doing to the waters. They
cause concerns regarding our recreation and dishearten the basic makeup of our oceanic food chain.
There are solutions in place respecting the issue. We must study as to what these invasive mussels are
doing to our environment, and how much it will impact the food chain. Zebra and Quagga mussels are
creatures, similar to clams that diminish nutrients in the water mouths, and reproduce expeditiously.
For example, in the article Invasive Mussels by the Utah DNR, it states, They are small clam like
creatures that reproduce rapidly and deplete nutrients in the water. This shows the initial evidence
given. We must fathom what invasive mussels are doing to our water basins. As well, we need to
become aware of the depletion of water nutrients, that are necessary to survival of the species.
Invasive mussels have become a crucial environmental issue. Let s see how and what happens when
they impact our location. The Zebra and Quagga mussels threaten our recreation and structures. As
well, they jeopardize the oceanic food chain. A reference to this is in the article Invasive Mussels by

In modern astronomy, a constellation is an internationally defined area of the celestial sphere. These
areas are grouped around asterisms (which themselves are generally referred to in non technical

Who Is The Protagonist In The Night Of The Hunter
The Night of the Hunter
Anna N. Beach
Paper #1
March 7, 2011
The Night of The Hunter is a thriller written by Davis Grubb in 1953. It is imaginably chilling and
disturbing. The book is based upon a true story of a frightening man who was hung for murdering two
women and three children. One of the main characters portrayed as the murderer, plays the role of
Harry Powell, who was just released from prison, but describes himself as a man of God, and a
preacher of the word. His psychotic inclinations lead him to a journey of a desperate pursuit of money,
left behind by his prison mate Ben Harper. The story leads to an anticipating tale, of a dream like

John nearly shut down and shut out all who were against him. He focused on what was important,
which was his and Pearl s survival. Pearl on the other hand, being only 4 years old lived as though
nothing was wrong. She was very naive, and didn t understand what was happening; she lived in her
own imaginary world. Although, John and Pearl play extremely important roles in the novel, there are
other characters that bring together the story and are important to the overall theme. Harry Powell, the
preacher, is disturbing. He was a mass murderer who killed women for money. His psychotic mind led
him to believe that God was telling him to commit the crimes. He was conniving and immoral. He
tricked people into believing that he was a righteous man, who obeyed by the laws of the bible.
Willa, John and Pearls mother, was gullible and influenced easily. She was very trusting of Harry
Powell s word, and refused to believe anyone else but him. She wanted nothing but to impress him.
She felt that he would be a great father figure to the children. Her trust in Harry Powell leads her to
her death. Another character in the story, Rachel, a tough, resolute individual, believed in defending
herself and others she cared about especially those such as John, and Pearl. Deep down at heart, even
though she seemed calloused, she was a gentle, considerate woman, with great concern for her
children that

What Did The Battle At The Rio Grande Cause The Mexican...
TO WHAT EXTENT DID THE BATTLE AT THE RIO GRANDE CAUSE THE MEXICAN
AMERICAN WAR?
Leila Elhail
History Extended Essay
12
Introduction April 25,1846 a Mexican Cavalry consisting of 3,000 men ambushed 70 US soldiers
under Zachary Taylor s command at the disputed area between the Nueces River and the Rio Grande.
Mexican troops ended up killing 16 American Citizens. This led President James K. Polk to write a
letter to Congress asking for a Declaration of War against Mexico on May 11, 1846. In his declaration
of war he included the famous quote: But now, after reiterated menaces, Mexico has passed the
boundary of the United States, has invaded our territory and shed American blood upon the American
soil. She has proclaimed that hostilities have commenced, and that the two nations are now at war.
Congress approved the Declaration of War after only a few hours of debate, and so on May 13, 1846
the United States of America declared war on Mexico.
Though it seems like the main reason for the Mexican American war was the shooting between
American troops and a Mexican cavalry because of the fact that James K. Polk asked Congress for
permission to declare war on Mexico right after the incident and the event was very prevalent in the
letter, another reason for the Mexican American War may have been the popular ideology of Manifest
Destiny. In 1845 John L. O Sullivan coined the term Manifest Destiny. Manifest Destiny was the

Comparing The Negro Artist And The Racial Mountain By...
Langston Hughes is arguably the most famous black writer in all of American history. His works are
anthologized and taught in schools all across the nation and he is viewed by many as a shinning
beacon of American artistry at its best. Part of his genius in addressing racial issues in the United
States is in his nuanced approach to racial healing. Langston Hughes presents two different ways of
looking at the issue of race: one in Theme for English B and I, Too highlights a need for national unity
and oneness, while another, expressed in his essay The Negro Artist and the Racial Mountain supports
a celebration of one s heritage. Langston Hughes was born in Joplin, Missouri in 1902 (Kirszner and

early twentieth century literature, and tried to whitewash all of his writings, he likely would not be as

HSC 3045: Promote positive behaviour Understand how legislation, frameworks, codes of practice
and policies relate to positive behaviour support.
1.1 Explain how legislation, frameworks, codes of practice and policies related to positive behaviour
support are applied to own working practice.
All aspects of my job role are regulated by policies and current legislation. The mandatory training
that we attend has been designed to cover all aspects of legislation such as the Children s Act, which
provides a Code of Practice to enable us provide the best possible care and support for children and
young people. We also have inspections from OFSTED who ensure we are meeting, not only care

If the young person or staff involved have sustained any injuries during the incident this is recorded on
the incident report and on a body map as well as the accident book and RIDDOR guidelines will be
followed.
1.5 Explain why the least restrictive interventions should be used when dealing with incidents of
challenging behaviour.
As explained before physical intervention should not be used unless it can be clearly justified why it
was used, it is not always neccessary. When dealing with challenging behaviour you can use
restrictive intervention such as language which may result in the young person changing their
behaviour before it even leads to an incident. For example there is a young person in my care who we
have observed that responds well to humour, so if he is beginning to display negative/challenging
behaviour we try to make jokes with him and sometimes tickle him. This turns his mood around and
prevents an incident even taking place. It is important to use the least restrictive interventions where
possible as if you didnt it could lead to further dilemmas such as verbal abuse, physical abuse, damage
to property etc.
1.6 Describe safeguards that must be in place if restrictive physical interventions are being used.
It is important to ensure that the young people and staff are all safeguarded. Any staff that will be
using physical interventions should have attended the mandatory training, risk assessments should be

Essay on Just War Doctrine And The Gulf Conflict
Just War Doctrine and the Gulf Conflict
In evaluating US involvement in the Iraq conflict in terms of the Just
War Doctrine jus ad bellum and jus in bello it is my opinion that the US adhered to the Doctrine in its
entirety. The US acted justly both in its entering into the Gulf conflict (jus ad bellum) and in its
conduct while in the conflict (jus in bello). To support this opinion I will individually address the co
parts that constitute the Just War Doctrine and show how US participation in the Iraq war abstained
from violating the tenets of either co part.
Jus Ad Bellum
Jus Ad Bellum, the justness of entering into conflict consists of six primary tenets: legitimate
authority, just cause, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Only after all non conflictory options have been exhausted should war be committed to.
As to the question of whether or not the US adhered to the tenet of jus ad bellum the reply is a
resounding yes. The US, under legitimate authority undertook the just cause of alleviating the plight of
a coalition partner.
Saddam Husseins invasion of Kuwait was unjust, or at least in violation of the
Just War Doctrine, and the US sought to reconcile matters. The goal, the removal of Iraqi forces from
Kuwait, was a just one and was pursued proportionally. For nearly six months the US and other
UN/coalition partners made every diplomatic effort to resolve the conflict peacefully. Secretary
General of UN Security Council Junio Perez de Cuellar made several attempts to hash out a peaceful
plan with Saddam Hussein directly and during this time the
US abstained from any military action. In conjunction with efforts of Perez de
Cuellar, US Secretary of State James Baker spent countless hours negotiating directly with the Iraqi
Foreign Minister in an attempt to bring about a non violent end to the crisis. When all efforts failed to
bring an end to the conflict by peaceful means the UN Security Council drafted Resolution 678 which
authorized quot;all means necessary quot; to dislodge Iraqi forces from Kuwait. In one last effort US
President George Bush sent a direct communiqué to Saddam Hussein

Nuclear Waste Research Paper
Nuclear fuel has been providing energy to the world for around sixty years, and it is the second most
used energy source, first being fossil fuels. Nuclear energy is closely chained to the invention of the
atomic bomb and is in fact, nuclear fission and/or fusion. The problem with nuclear energy is that
while it can provide energy without air pollutants, there is nowhere to put the radioactive nuclear
waste. With the spent nuclear fuel, we currently dump it in places relatively far from people or we
reprocess it. However there is more to that than meets the eye. Dumping is not the best method for
dealing with nuclear waste, the best way is to reprocess the nuclear waste because it recovers a portion
of reusable energy that can be recycled back into the plant, recovers fuel that can be reused for other
purposes and also helps reduce the effects on the environment.
The reusable energy that is recovered may not feel like much, however once you reprocess tons and
tons of nuclear waste it adds up to an enormous amount of saved waste. When reprocessing the
nuclear waste, they add a variety of different substances at different times such as acids and oxidants,
this is necessary to separate the different levels of reactivity in the nuclear waste. Most of the energy
from the reprocessed plutonium is put back into the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

uranium can be re used as fuel, which is a great use, however this is only economical when uranium

plutonium and uranium. It can employ all the actinides (elements from periodic numbers 89 to 103),
potentially multiplying the energy obtained from natural uranium by many

Charlotte Trust Quotes
Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none, said William Shakespeare, a talented author. In the book, The
True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, by Avi, the theme of trust is to only trust the people closest to
you. If you trust everyone, then if people are lying you won t know who it is because you trust them
and you are putting yourself in danger. In this book, I think the only one Charlotte, the main character,
should trust, is herself.
In the first part of the book Charlotte said, Appalled, I jumped off the stool. I don t believe you! I

Body Image In Sirena Riley s The Black Beauty Myth
The author of The Black Beauty Myth Sirena Riley has encountered multiple experiences concerning
body image throughout her life. At a young age, she started to feel the pressure to have a perfect body.
The struggle of making herself perfect ultimately lead to eating disorders. In her journey from a young
age to her college years she has learned better ways to deal with negative body image through therapy.
She states I was in three body image and eating disorder groups with other young women on my
campus. I was always the only black woman (Riley 2002, 229).This quote supports her belief that
black women have body image problems but are not open to seeking help or expressing it. Sirena
points out three factors that influence body image in the lives of women. The first factor she believes
has influence on the body image of black women and young girls is the celebrities shown in the
media. In her essay, she mentions celebrities within black culture that are shown in the media as
beauty ideals. Her examples included actresses, musicians, and models who are thin. There are also
TV shows and ads that are shown to consumers. She gives an example of a show called The Parkers
which follows a woman with a full figured body. The show portrays her as a loud, ghetto woman who
is constantly denied by a black college professor. The man constantly squirms away from her and goes
after women with thin body figures. The second factor that influences body image in black women is

problems. However, his comes from low SES and has a mental disability (therefore, he become
eligible to Medicare), these probably negatively influence his mental health progression. For example,
he is not able to access his former psychiatrist due to his current insurance. When it comes to his
spirituality, even though his father is a religious man, the client does not seem to be interested in
spiritual issues. However, his father s strong spirituality would be beneficial for both. Since, the client
s father, as a main social support source, his mental and physical health is also vital for Tom. In fact,
his father plays a critical role in Tom s life.

Prohibition Dbq Research Paper
Why would America make a law it wouldn t follow? Why would America make a law it wouldn t
follow? America during the roaring 1920 s thought America was becoming a place of drunkards. Apart
from working necessities America believed it was a place of violence and thought that with this law all
of the problems would soon vanish and would fix everything. The decision finally came in order to
pass a rule/law of some sort that would prohibit the usage, selling of any alcoholic beverage,
something we called prohibition. Prohibition or in other words meant prohibited, No longer would
alcohol be available for America. Prohibition was unnecessary and did not help at all. I know this
because the same government did not follow the enforcement law that dealt with alcohol. There was
also a lot of problems with the budget, if they wouldn t have made alcohol illegal there wouldn t be
such problem. Last but least, violence. Violence did not stop in fact it got greater and people just got
crazier to the thought of getting whiskey. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

the law yet were taken for the same crimes the government made yet only some were punished. This
was only one reason to why America changed its mind but what was

Glocalizing Keepin it Real: South Korean Hip Hop Playas by Jamie Shinhee Lee discussed the
globalization of hip hop and what is considered as real hip hop in South Korea. Lee explained about
how hip hop had spread throughout many countries in the world, and its impact can be seen
particularly in his example of S. Korean hip hop. Four hip hop groups: Epik High, Dynamic Duo,
Drunken Tiger, and Soul Company are used in support of his argument of glocalization in South
Korea. Playa like Tiger JK was raised in Los Angeles, and thus experienced localized hip hip in

Instead, hip hop should be deemed fake or real intentionally based if it s as a product for market or
playas personal expression. According to Lee s study, there was a common theme found in playas
lyrics and suggested that, South Korean hip hop playas practice of keepin it real demonstrates global
local syncretism. S. Korea are not using their own ideas and concepts, but global elements and
characteristics are also incorporated too. This incorporation was evident from S. Korea playas use of
English, hip hop clothing, costumes, and similar concepts. It s already not pure because these
characteristics are not original, but the differences are it intention. Critics may argued that hip hop is
dead or is no longer real because of globalization and diffusion. These playas are still rapping about
their country s problems and personal issues, but how do people know if it s real or fake. Since
globalization is a major component of blending hip hop globally, music corporation are largely

  • 2. Safe Water Drinking And Pollution In today s society, we face a large set of problems that affect each and every person every single day. Throughout the semester, there have been several different instances that have shown the importance of truly understanding what these issues are and how some of these issues can be fixed. The main environmental issue that I am going to discuss I this paper is safe water drinking and pollution, as pollution directs towards to the hazardous we do to it by simply polluting as well as how some of our pollution affects the air and living conditions that we face. I chose this environmental issue because I find it to be one of the largest issues that the whole world faces, especially here in Northwest Indiana, which not enough people take as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There are such strategies that must help address any concerns, foster development in new strategies, protect the water, and work together in developing access to the water systems. These initiatives of people who are looking to ensure safe water is continuously looked over by larger groups of people and acts such as the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, Safe Drinking Water Act, and even people like the Natural resources Conservation Service and the Environmental Protection Agency. What people sometimes forget is that under these acts, while there are people who are looking to help support these initiatives, the people who embrace the world must practice better strategies that will embrace these acts and support groups to help ensure that water will be safe for drinking. Many people forget that water is not just a free good to us for use at any time, because if the water supply were to ever be completely damaged and polluted, the outreach for fresh, safe water to drink would be minimal, therefore a struggle for people in America as well as around the world. Water is arguably the most important natural resource to us here on Earth and should not be used and abused. There are several different things that people can work towards to help make things better. The main three types of ways to help assist all these acts the government and other support groups can do is to advertise support groups, advertise about contamination and also advertise ... • 3. Essay on Thessalonians Thessalonians Thessalonians is based on two different letters that was written to the Christian community in Thessalonica. The purpose of the first letter was to clear up some of the misunderstandings about the return of Christ. The second letters purpose was to still clear up some of the misunderstandings about the Day of the Lord for they thought the day had already come. The first letter to the Christian community was sent from Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, though Paul was the main author. Paul was writing to them to clear up their misunderstandings about the return of Christ, also considers it as instructions in holy living. Paul wrote about his longing to visit the church in Thessalonica but he couldn t because Satan had stopped ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There are many arguments about when the 2 Thessalonians was written, because they believe that Paul did not write the letter. Depending on the actual authorship of the letter would be what the date of it was written would depend on. Stating that if the letter was written by someone else but in Paul s name, it is said that it may have been wrote in the late first or perhaps the early second CE. With that being said it is not sure on the exact date or time frame that the 2 Thessalonians was wrote. With many opinions about the date and who wrote the 2 Thessalonians it will not be known until the authorship of the letter is cleared up. There is enough evidence on when 1 Thessalonians was written. How they correspond the dates to when he was traveling and that he was on his mission in Corinthian, which would be around the 49 51 CE. Paul was writing the letter to the churches of Thessalonica which is the capital of the Roman province of Macedonia. His purpose of writing was to praise them on their faith and love that Timothy had brought and to focus on the instruction on how to live their Christian lives. Paul was writing this letter while he was on his mission in Corinthian where he was farther south in the province of Achaia. He wants the letter to be read aloud to all his brothers which means all his believers in Thessalonica. In 1 Thessalonians 4:3 4 it is confirmed of the conclusion that the churches of Thessalonica was mostly composed of gentile ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Rent On Their Honest Tenants the rent on their honest tenants. 12C Moreover, the estimates do not take into consideration the secondary cost to society. 12D Critics perceive, aid to counsel will cause frivolous lawsuits in an already overly litigious society. 33 The impact from this cost can harm landlords bottom line affecting their chances from receiving loans from banks and access to credit. 34 There are possibilities for a frivolous lawsuit, but the severity of the housing crisis trumps frivolous lawsuits that are unlikely to make it to trial. The proponents of the frivolous lawsuit argument are similar to the voting ID argument. It is unfounded that voting ID fraud is rampant, however, the chances of this happening is less than 1%. 32 One percent is a nominal figure that does not raise a situation to code red and allows for the disenfranchisement of whole sections of voters. Similarly, the possibility of a nominal number of frivolous lawsuits brought by indigent litigants should not disenfranchise the right to representation in housing court. Most importantly, there safeguards and screening put in place to reduce the chances of frivolous lawsuits. For example, attorneys must listen and evaluate a case using their legal knowledge to determine if a case is meritless or not. Throughout history faith as basis of knowledge has been regarded as a controversial issue, especially in religion. Unlike science, most people hinge on supernatural happenings in order to strengthen their belief, due to faith it has weakened religion because there is no evidence that s rational enough to support it. Take for instance, biblical claims are crammed with hidden connotations such as proverbs and various accounts such as the virgin birth of Jesus, the burning bush witnessed by Moses and the walking on water are perceived as either being misinterpreted, or embellished because the logic doesn t add up and their hasn t been any similar occurrences observed that could support this claims. Nevertheless, many people have stated that their religion is true and real; however there is a lot of emotion entangled in the belief which exposes certain people to confirmation bias. Most people are too obstructed to see something that s beyond their religion, considering the fact that there is no justification and evidence which makes it an even more fallible assumption. On the other hand, with religion comes faith and what faith tries to do, is to enlighten that the higher being cannot be studied in order to be comprehended therefore blind faith is the only way get to understand the purpose of this higher being . Also, this caused many people to bring up cows for only their milk or beef instead of for pulling and lugging things around. In the oceanic category of environmental issues, invasive mussels are a vast issue to our man made waters and lakes. There are many types of invasive mussels in our lakelets. To illustrate: Zebra and Quagga mussels. We must become aware, and raise awareness as to what they are doing to the waters. They cause concerns regarding our recreation and dishearten the basic makeup of our oceanic food chain. There are solutions in place respecting the issue. We must study as to what these invasive mussels are doing to our environment, and how much it will impact the food chain. Zebra and Quagga mussels are creatures, similar to clams that diminish nutrients in the water mouths, and reproduce expeditiously. For example, in the article Invasive Mussels by the Utah DNR, it states, They are small clam like creatures that reproduce rapidly and deplete nutrients in the water. This shows the initial evidence given. We must fathom what invasive mussels are doing to our water basins. As well, we need to become aware of the depletion of water nutrients, that are necessary to survival of the species. Invasive mussels have become a crucial environmental issue. Let s see how and what happens when they impact our location. The Zebra and Quagga mussels threaten our recreation and structures. As well, they jeopardize the oceanic food chain. It is imaginably chilling and disturbing. The book is based upon a true story of a frightening man who was hung for murdering two women and three children. One of the main characters portrayed as the murderer, plays the role of Harry Powell, who was just released from prison, but describes himself as a man of God, and a preacher of the word. She was very naive, and didn t understand what was happening; she lived in her own imaginary world. Although, John and Pearl play extremely important roles in the novel, there are other characters that bring together the story and are important to the overall theme. Harry Powell, the preacher, is disturbing. He was a mass murderer who killed women for money. His psychotic mind led him to believe that God was telling him to commit the crimes. He was conniving and immoral. He tricked people into believing that he was a righteous man, who obeyed by the laws of the bible. Willa, John and Pearls mother, was gullible and influenced easily. She was very trusting of Harry Powell s word, and refused to believe anyone else but him. She wanted nothing but to impress him. She felt that he would be a great father figure to the children. Her trust in Harry Powell leads her to her death. • 17. What Did The Battle At The Rio Grande Cause The Mexican... TO WHAT EXTENT DID THE BATTLE AT THE RIO GRANDE CAUSE THE MEXICAN AMERICAN WAR? Leila Elhail History Extended Essay 12 Introduction April 25,1846 a Mexican Cavalry consisting of 3,000 men ambushed 70 US soldiers under Zachary Taylor s command at the disputed area between the Nueces River and the Rio Grande. Mexican troops ended up killing 16 American Citizens. This led President James K. Polk to write a letter to Congress asking for a Declaration of War against Mexico on May 11, 1846. In his declaration of war he included the famous quote: But now, after reiterated menaces, Mexico has passed the boundary of the United States, has invaded our territory and shed American blood upon the American soil. She has proclaimed that hostilities have commenced, and that the two nations are now at war. Congress approved the Declaration of War after only a few hours of debate, and so on May 13, 1846 the United States of America declared war on Mexico. Though it seems like the main reason for the Mexican American war was the shooting between American troops and a Mexican cavalry because of the fact that James K. Polk asked Congress for permission to declare war on Mexico right after the incident and the event was very prevalent in the letter, another reason for the Mexican American War may have been the popular ideology of Manifest Destiny. In 1845 John L. O Sullivan coined the term Manifest Destiny. Manifest Destiny was the ideology ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Nuclear energy is closely chained to the invention of the atomic bomb and is in fact, nuclear fission and/or fusion. The problem with nuclear energy is that while it can provide energy without air pollutants, there is nowhere to put the radioactive nuclear waste. With the spent nuclear fuel, we currently dump it in places relatively far from people or we reprocess it. However there is more to that than meets the eye. Dumping is not the best method for dealing with nuclear waste, the best way is to reprocess the nuclear waste because it recovers a portion of reusable energy that can be recycled back into the plant, recovers fuel that can be reused for other purposes and also helps reduce the effects on the environment.
