It is said by General Howe that nearly 32,000 British soldiers (with 8,000 Germans) attended the
battle against 15,000 American troops. This British army is also accompanied by over 250 British
ships, including 73 warships. This army from the British is the largest amount of troops that the
British ever sent out in history. The Battle of Long Island was the largest battle of the American
revolution. The winner of the battle will the control of New York City and cut communications
between the North and South Colonies.

On the American side, there was a lot of bad effects after the battle. The Continental army had a loss

According to Heyman and Sleps (2002), they discovered something called the cycle of violence
hypothesis. This hypothesis states that children who experience abuse are more likely to not only
experience violence in their future relationships, but are more likely to continue violence as well (as
cited in Gomez, 2011). Feiring and Furman (2000), found that abused children tend get rejected from
their peers and in turn choose intimate partners from deviant peer groups later in life. Neugebauer
(2000), argues that parental maltreatment of children shows even more risk factors of future

going to give away a bunch of clothes that you have had stored and haven t worn. A treatment group
member hears this and asks that you give the clothes to him or her. Do you give them to her or him?
Why or why not? Which NASW Code of Ethics does this situation relate to? If the client is in need of
the clothes then I do not think it would be violating any codes because they need them because they do
not have clothes or need something to wear to say a job interview, however, because this could be
taken out of context such as having a dual relationship with a client. I would ask the agency that I
work for if it is alright to give the clothes to a client that needs them and if not then I would donate
them. Giving a client clothes may be seen as having both a professional relationship and social
relationship with the client, however, it is not because the clothes were offered because the client had

Throughout my life I have volunteered for a few organizations. During my underclassmen years I
volunteered at Seven Bridges Ranch throughout my summers. My responsibilities included taking care

Patient R.M. is an eighty year old Caucasian male. His religion is Christian. R.M. was retired from
work. He is a husband, father and grandfather per his wife. R.M. had no known allergies and is a full
code status. He has a past medical history of diabetes, coronary artery disease, heart valve disease,
atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure (HF), hypertension and kidney disease. His wife was at
bedside attentive to his care. The diagnostic tests performed showed he had severe congestive heart
failure and was in need of an arterial graft in his coronary arteries. The nurse on shift was Vivian and
the doctor assigned to R.M. was Doctor Linton. The development level that R.M. falls in at eighty
years old was integrity versus despair. He displayed the characteristics of being in the category of
despair.
He was admitted to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center (LBMMC) on July 23rd, 2014 with a chief
complaint of chest pain and dyspnea. The pain was occurring for three to four days with a non
productive cough. He was having severe orthopnea, requiring two pillows just to fall asleep. Once
