This student wakes up every day like any other student, he goes to class, he eats in the dining halls,

Surfing contains a lot of arm work paddling towards and away from the waves and in order to

I was pleased to have had the opportunity to observe two eighth grade teachers as part of my
internship process. I will use aliases for these teachers. Mrs. Cessna is a Middle School Social Studies
teacher who is currently teaching U.S. History to eighth grade students. She has been teaching for
thirteen years. The second teacher I observed is an eighth grade Math teacher, Mrs. Knox. Mrs. Knox
is in her twenty first year of teaching. Mrs. Knox is an amazing teacher. The Common Core Standards
for math are very challenging. The way the schedule is set up at North Haven Middle School, the math
teacher teachers 5 classes a day. One class is designed to be an accelerated class, one is a math lab
which is an additional class for struggling math learners. The other three fall somewhere in between.
The class I was able to observe was one of these middle range math classes. The dynamics within the
class varied from a couple students who excel in math to struggling math learners. A few of the

The retail environment that I decided to analyze is one that is very familiar to most Americans in
today s world: Dunkin Donuts. According to the University of Harvard, 54% of Americans over the
age of 18 drink at least one coffee a day, with 65% of it being consumed during breakfast. According
to the Dunkin Donuts Press Kit of February 2014, currently the Dunkin Donuts franchise is bought by
11% of Americans on a daily basis and has nearly 11,000 stores in 33 countries. But of all of those
stores, I chose one in the quiet suburban town of Chester, New Jersey. Though not a very large town,
Chester is built up with many restaurants and shops for tourists and locals alike to come and spend
their time and money. The traffic flow to this specific store is fairly unique, in the sense that it is
located right off of the major highway in Route 206 south. When I pulled off of Route 206 and into the
parking lot, I nearly overshot the entire drive and almost ended up in the shrubbery out by the road

Some people would argue that this new World referred to above looks suspiciously a lot like the old
one, if you look closely enough. As California s post makes clear it is impossible to discuss Spartacus
without bringing politics into it. Those who criticize it seem to be objecting not just to the

The Philosophical Perspective The mind body connection alludes to the affinity between the mind and
body, specifically in matters of health and well being. It is founded on the notion that an individual s
