There are multiple social identities a person holds such as race, sex, class and sexual orientation.
In each society there is typically a group within each of these categories that benefits from their

of cultures and societies around the globe, many of the same groups consistently dominate within

All of the above mentioned facts are what have caused me to believe that the fact that he was
decisive to follow this discretion was appropriate for this case, probably the only way out. Chief
Moose may have saved countless lives by letting the attackers continue with their plan as they

media as a communication system between himself and the snipers. This caused the attackers to get
overconfident and leave traces; they were spotted various times by eyewitness, which made it

Quality Control Protocols
The SOP procedures for preparing and validating calibrations in Section 8 and for validating sample
data in Section 12 must be followed unless it is apparent that the QC in the mandated method or
regulations are more stringent.
QC Analyst Evaluation
Section 12 of each technical SOP details the QC requirements that a based on the method or the
2009 TNI Standard. This section of the SOP provides the analyst with the guidance to identify,
correct and report QC activities before final review by management.
Although each SOP has its own specific QC requirements based on the reference method, Table 3 is
an example of a summary table found in technical SOPs. This table shows the requirement the
acceptance criteria, the frequency (which can vary based on method) and the corrective actions the
analyst takes.
Section 3, Analytical Corrective Action Reporting in DOC D4001 lists the steps the analyst takes to
record QC requirement exceedances. When any of the QC checks listed above are out of
compliance, the analyst initiates a Corrective Action Report (CAR) noting the exceedance, the
actions taken and their outcome. The analyst forwards the CAR to management (primarily the QA
Coordinator). Any decision qualify results is made by management.

Introduction
A paper published in 1898 by the Freidrich Heincke, a German fisheries biologist, influenced
biologists to consider the population as the unit of study instead of the species. Insights from the
Heincke s paper helped to cultivate the influential quantitative methodology to distinguish marine
fish populations. The application of statistical methods and quantification techniques in marine
biology contributed to the generation of an enormous amount of knowledge related to fisheries. The
shift of fishery biologists, Zoologists and wildlife agencies towards numbers and measurement in
their research methodology, shaped modern Fisheries Science and contributed to solving some of
the critical problems associated with fisheries. In 1957, a model published by Beverton and Holt
enabled scientists to predict the future size and yields of fish stock. This quantitative bio economic
model allowed governments to make decisions on the most optimal fishing levels to help reach

Cod fishery management systems in Canada incorporated Heincken s population approach and bio
economic system models of the 1950 s to calculate the total allowable catch. An official report that
was the basis for Canada s Cod fisheries management strategy, tremendously overestimated
northern Cod populations. To correct this error in 1990, the Harris report recommended the

There have been 100,000 African Americans in prison since Brown vs Board of education. The
article states that the trend will continue, 1 of every 3 African American males are apparently
born today can expect to go to prison in their time, 1 in 6 Latino males, compared to 1 in every
17 White males. But for women, it is much lower, but the ethnicity does not change: 1 out of 18
African Americans, 1 out of 45 Hispanics, and finally 1 of every 111 White females, are expected

CLUB DRUGS
Another category of drugs that forensic scientists have to test for and identify is club drugs. Club
drugs are synthetic drugs that are typically used in bars, nightclubs, raves, and other gatherings.
Some of these drugs have become popular in these settings because they are thought to enhance or
improve the experience, although they also have side effects and dangers. Many of these drugs are
used primarily by teens and young adults.
The settings of raves and nightclubs also support the use of these drugs. Their small, often tablet
form make the drugs easy to conceal, and with so many people dancing and moving, individuals
who take the drugs are often not as noticeable as they might be in another setting even when

Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), or Ecstasy, as it is more commonly known, is one of

some days where I just never felt like doing actual work. I had some amazing memories with
some good friends, I learned new academic skills for real world solutions, and just getting closer to
high school has me kind of nervous. The memories I have are some good ones, and some of them
are terrible. The academic skills I learned are very important and I should know forever because I
could run into a problem when I need it. Overall, my middle school experience was alright.

fun ones. In 7th grade I had Mr. Mager for a teacher as my first hour. My class pulled some fun
