ABSTRACT
Bangla word recognition is extremely challenging and there are too few works reported on online
cursive Bangla word recognition. Bangla is a complicated script and it needs rigorous
investigations to implement a better recognition system. While we have sophisticated classifiers
like Hidden Markov Models or BLSTM Neural Networks for recognition of complicated scripts, we
have very little comparative studies about the appropriate feature sets for such scripts. In this paper,
our aim is to implement an appropriate recognition system for author independent unconstrained
Bangla word where a modified feature set is proposed. To construct the modified feature set, we
modify existing feature sets and add new features for improvement of recognition accuracy. We
test performances of various existing feature sets and proposed feature set on same Bangla dataset
for fair comparison and report the comparative results using various lexicons upto 20,000 word
lexicon. Each time an HMM based classifier is used to test the feature set. Finally, a recognition
system is built over the combination of existing and modified feature sets.

Abstract This paper describes an eye movement method based on electrooculography (EOG) to
develop a system for assisting disabled people. Its most important features are mobility, portability,
modularity which making it adaptable to the particular needs of each user according to the type of
handicap involved. A human machine interfaces (HMI) is a system that provides an output channel
for the brain and does not depend on peripheral muscles and nerves. We are focusing the mainly on
EOG signals for the human machine interface for controlling a wheelchair , where the control is
actually effected by eye movements . This device includes wireless EOG signal acquisition
components, electrodes and an EOG signal classification algorithm. The EOG classification
algorithm is based on extracting features from the electrical signals corresponding to four directions
of eye movement (up, down, left, right) .this control technique could be useful in multiple
applications, such as mobility and communication aid for handicapped persons.

The poem the lesson of the moth written by Don Marquis, reflects many ideas found in
Transcendentalism and in the story of Chris McCandless. The poem focuses in on the beauty of
life. It suggests that we get bored with the routine (Marquis 18). This relates to many
Transcendentalist beliefs which are represented throughout multiple of Emerson and Thoreau s
pieces. Transcendentalism has many core beliefs such as: individualism, going into nature, trusting
one s self, and living a minimalistic life. These core beliefs are said to help one find true happiness

fear change, yet some people have an implicit reaction of excitement and an adrenaline rush.
McCandless went out and followed his true aspiration and showed individualism in doing so.

journey, he views people in a similar light as the moth had in which they are too civilized to

written by Thoreau, believing that people are too involved with other people s lives and

Summary Of Parasite Rex Inside The Bizarre World Of The World
Zimmer emphasizes his prologue in two different stories. The first story is about a twelve year
old boy named Justin who lives in Tambura Sudan infected with a single cell parasite called a
trypanosome also known as the sleeping disease. Zimmer explains that the parasite is transmitted
by two different hosts the tsetse fly and humans. The infection cycle starts with the tsetse fly
drinking human s blood pouring in Trypanosomes. The trypanosomes then steal oxygen and
glucose invading all the organs including the brain. Sleeping sickness gets its named from the way
trypanosomes disorder people brains by damaging the biological clock and turning day to night.
Justin had to take some injections of melarsoprol which contains twenty percent of arsenic and
steroids for swelling. This brutal procedure was followed because Justin had parasitesin his brain.
The second story took place a few months after his trip to Sudan. Biologist Daniel Brooks
guided Zimmer and seven other biologists through a jungle in Costa Rica. Brooks caught several
different types of frogs to look under a microscope, most of the parasites were new to science.

start off with what protons, neutrons, and electrons are. This will describe where they are in the
atom and what their relative sizes respective one another are. This section will end off with the
charges of all of these particles and the total number of all of these particles for every element
inside of the carbon family. The entire section will be based off of the particles that make up an atom

The atom, which is the basic unit of life, is made up different types of particles which are protons,
neutrons, and electrons. The proton is a stable subatomic particle that is located in the nucleus of an
atom. A neutronis quite similar to a proton in the sense that they are both subatomic particles of
very similar masses and almost always located in the nucleus. Neutrons are found in the nucleus
most of the time except for in ordinary hydrogen which does not contain any. An electronis also a
stable subatomic particle but it is found in the shells or orbitals which surround the nucleus of an
atom. As for the size of these particles protons and neutrons are roughly the same size in mass, with
the proton being slightly lighter, while an electron weighs about two thousand times less than
