only after his wits have been inhibited. The film uses flash backs to dramatize the power of the paw
when it is mentioned during the conversation with the White family. The potential harm that can be
caused by the paw is better expressed in the Lewis film version by Morris when he is asked why he
kept it he stated that, he kept it to guard it . He never allows any of the family to handle the paw and it

chaotic. Confucius then decided to develop a new moral code due to the injustice and distress, he had
seen within the system. These laws consisted of respect, honesty, education, kindness, and strong
family bonds. Confucius believed that a good government was the basis for a peaceful and happy
society. And to have a good government you had to have good officials. Therefore, in order to have a
good official, you had to master the following five virtues that Confucius created. These virtues
included: Li, which stood for ritual etiquette, Ren, standing for kindness, Xin, requiring faithfulness,
Yi, for honesty, and Xiao, which meant having strong family values. With these virtues and laws being
said Confucius believed that if people had respect and had strong bonding, then the central
government would become strong and prosperous.

some changes to Nancy in the remake, they changed her last name from Thompson to Holbrook. In
