to attention in order for them to be dealt with. Sex discrimination is one of those mistakes that
people are constantly making. It isn t happening as much as it used to in the past, but it is still
occurring in our education system, employment, housing, and even in something as small as
credit. There are large episodes in past time that we are able to track down and see examples of
sex discrimination towards females, especially in education. From as early as birth, women are
being discriminated against just because they are supposedly inferior to men. This was all put
to a stop when Title IX was formed. Title IX s main objective is to protect people from
discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive Federal financial
assistance. The motto that we follow is No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex,
be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination

the state of Kansas have risen from 11% of the gross domestic product in 2003 to 16.8% in 2012,
gaining 5.8% in those 9 years. The city of Wichita, ranks 1st in the share and dollar amounts of

trade would benefit the economy more than instituting tariffs and non tariff trade barriers. However,
the reality is quite different. Politically, tariffs help to strike a balance between social welfare
and the politicians goals. One theory is that campaign contributions are needed for re election;
and to achieve these funds, politicians will weigh this need against welfare reducing protection
for industry lobbyists (Magee, 2011). The models would suggest that the tariffs should actually
be much higher than they are due to the low efficiency cost of tariffs compared to the substantial
gains provided for the producers (Magee, 2011). However, developed countries actually have very
low tariffs. There are six possible explanations for why developed countries have such low tariffs
when the political theories behind why we have tariffs at all would suggest they should be higher.

will get a new genital HPV infection is between 29% and 39% (Hawke). The Human
Papillomavirus infects both males and females; however, the protective benefit in heterosexual
males has not yet been explored. Therefore, this study monitored the efficacy of the HPV vaccine in
heterosexual males to see how it affected both the short term and long term health of their female
partners. This study demonstrated that heterosexual males who received the vaccination and their
unvaccinated partners showed higher anti HPV antibody titer levels, decreased HPV positivity
results via PCR tests, and decreased cancer development rates than the unvaccinated men and
their unvaccinated partners. For the Pap smears, those with both groups of men were tested and it
was found that women with unvaccinated men were more likely to have abnormal Pap smears
than those who were with vaccinated men. The initial goal of developing the HPV vaccination in

snakelike figure in the center of the poster. Klinger s poster also does not rely on its colors to
represent its purpose. Instead of relying on the color scheme, Klinger s poster relies on its figure
such as the snake and the number to be the main focus of his piece. The arrows going through
the snake give the idea that revenge or anger is toward someone. The top part of the 8 wrapped
around the head of the snake also gives the idea of someone being trapped or a very concerning
situation. Unlike Flagg s poster, Klinger s poster seems to take up much more space but does not

simplistic in the tone of the piece. There is very little, if any, value changes that show the

could be lost if the viewer did not speak the same language or was not from the same country.
