describes and explain his various experiences in the concentration camp, not only is he being
descriptive but he also gives an official man experience from what he has been apart of and what was
seen. This narrative allows you to better understand what was being done to these individuals from a
psychological standpoint, meaning our mental. Imagine yourself, being tormented, tortured, verbally
and physically abused, but still must hold yourself upright just to avoid the abuse; there s no way
around it. These individuals, were abused day and night; even if they were a half of inch out of place.
Frankl, begins with a question that states, But does a man who makes his observations while he
himself is a prisoner possess the necessary detachment? Such detachment is granted to the outsider,
but he is too far removed to make any statements of real value. This stood out to me, being that I am
of a female gender; I could reverse the roles to better understand the question he posed. It is difficult
to observe oneself when you are a prisoner, not just physically but mentally. The mental is what
enables us as humans to process information but also perform daily tasks. Frankl, talks about a
condition known as, delusion of reprieve meaning that our mental tends to make us believe that there
is a way out or around the situation or maybe a consequence that will deter punishment from our
actions, but in actuality there isn t. The prisoners suffered though these illusions, quite often because
they never know when an officer may abuse them or possibly be taken to the crematorium. Frankl,

Why Do We Need Effective Classroom Management
Teachers often wonder how to execute the ideal lesson, what structure should they adopt and how to
ensure that all their students cooperate. What we need to recognise is what classroom management is
and how much does student behavior factor? Why is it significant? What strategies does my mentor
use to establish classroom management within the class? If we know the behaviour of our students,
what do we need to do to ensure that effective classroom management is successfully acquired? All

During my two weeks of placement, I was placed at St Albans Primary School in a prep class.
Considering that these students are at a young age, they are in a position where they are still
developing skills and are in the process of becoming mature, therefore classroom management is
crucial. In the class that I was in, students would often cause trouble with other members of the class,
they are easily distracted and overall difficult to handle. Being that I am a pre service teacher, they
often took advantage of me while I conducted the class, they would do the events explained above,
and this is due to the lack of classroom management and my ability to maintain student behaviour.

New Fantasyland is a new expansion in Walt Disney World, Florida. Announced in September 2009,
construction for this large project, which will end up doubling the size of the previous Fantasyland,
was completed in stages starting in early 2012 and ending this year with the opening of the Seven

Although this may not be a conventional example of being sustainable, I believe that by addressing
this problem now and not allowing it to fester for future generations to deal with was a very
sustainable move.
Safety issue that would have surrounded this project in the planning process would have included
ensuring that the shape of the tracks of some rides and the speeds at which the ride goes at would be
sufficient and also not too fast to ensure the safety of the passengers, especially with the Seven
Dwarves Mine Train which involves rocking carts, the first roller coaster of its kind. Careful
calculations and many models, both computer and physical, should have been done to ensure that
these are safe for all passengers. Safety issues when actually constructing the project would have
included making certain that visitors to the park were kept away from the construction site, as the park
was fully open during the construction period. So long as tall, appropriate barriers were placed around
the site, this should have been fine.

The Pros And Cons Of College Education
This past summer I graduated High School and this past school year I had to give a lot of thought
where I would like to go to college or if even going to college was the correct choice for me.
However, I did start preparing for college at the beginning of High School as the concept and need of
college was instilled within me by most of my family and those at school from a young age as they
tended to say education was my ticket and it would take me far in life. However is the higher
education and experience one gains through college worth the large amount of debt one will most
likely take on in order to go to college? This topic I find to be very interesting and to resonate rather
deeply with me as while many of my friends decided to follow my same path, deciding to go on to
higher education almost as many decide not to go to college. This could have been from a multitude of
reasons from not being able to afford college to not feeling they have the aptitude and commitment to
do college. I took the time to analyze the question Is college worth it? with two sources, both
pertaining to whether college is really worth the investment of time and money one puts into it. I
found two articles Is College worth it? and College: Who profits? which both help to analyze the pros
and cons of college along analyzing various statistics pertaining to college. They both seem to be
rather useful with one being more of a report on a book and the other being an article about a report.
The first source I analyzed was Is College Worth it? Written by Michelle Adam and published by The
Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education. Adam reports on a recent question Is College Worth it? which
was analyzed and asked by the Pew Research center. Adam noted throughout the source numerous
surveys and statistics, which the Pew Research used to help answer their question. One such survey
noted that 57% of people surveyed did not find they got good value for their money with higher
education, 75% said college was too expensive for many Americans, and yet 86% of college grads
said it was a good investment for them personally with 94% of parents claiming they expected their

Some may ask, what is a myth. To the common person, a myth is a work of fiction : an untrue story
made obsolete by modern society. A myth is a story that cannot be taken literally. For the sake of
making the definition clear, a myth is a story; it is a narrative; it is what helps people make sense of a
complicated world through different perspectives and experiences. Sometimes, these stories have
lessons that people can interpret from the events of them. Gaiman certainly has written a myth: the
myth of the American Gods. He has used past myths, those from ancient civilizations, to create a
