I got the idea to create a remake centric film festival from a project I did in another film class. In that
class, my group and I decided to do a presentation on horror film remakes. While trying to decide on
while two films to talk about, I found that a multitude of horror films had been remade. I continued
looking up films that had been remade and eventually made it through the lengthy list of horror films,
and found other genres that have had remakes. Once I found enough content to pad out a film line up,
I settled on remakes as my theme and began my research on the actual film festival aspect.

Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) is an inherited disorder characterized by extreme fragility of the bones
also known as brittle bone disease .
Clinical Features
The symptoms of OI include malformed bones, short, small body, loose joints, muscle weakness,
sclera (whites of the eyes) look purple, grey or blue, triangular face, barrel shaped rib cage, curved
spine, brittle teeth, breathing problems and a collagen deficiency.
Classification
There are many ways to classify OI. The most accurate methods are the following.
In some cases, an ultrasound can identify bone abnormalities at 14 18 weeks. Cells obtained through
chorionic villus sampling or amniocentesis can also be analysed for a genetic mutation. Amount of
collagen can be tested through a skin sample and genes can be tested through a blood sample and X
rays to check for bone abnormalities such as the symptoms explained earlier can be used to diagnose.
Radiographic Features
The hallmark feature of Osteogenesis Imperfecta is fragile bones that fracture easily. Osteogenesis

Signals, author Sherman Alexie uses literary devices such as costumes, flashbacks, a detailed
narrative, and other devices to create two distinct characters, Victor Joseph and Thomas Builds The
Fire, that symbolize a clash between Native American culture and modern society through the theme
of storytelling. Victor Joseph s portrayal of the classic Native American man is exemplified by Alexie
s use of dialogue, costumes, and flashbacks. For example, when Victor sees Thomas smiling as they

This example of dialogue reveals how Victor believes a Native American man should present himself

Arthur Penn decided to show the audience the real, brutal and raw side to violence, using brilliant
camerawork but more importantly, top notch special effects and masterful visual skills. In Bonnie and
Clyde the violence never feels fake, but terrifyingly real. Take for example the first graphic scene of
the film, in which Clyde shoots a store owner s face clean off, as he tries jump aboard the robbers
getaway car. The man s head basically explodes, splattering blood and pieces of brain all over the car
window, and Penn shows us, the audience, this (although not in a Tarantinto splasher like way, but

In January of 1972, the Supreme Court made the decision to legalize abortion in the first trimester of a

different things take place throughout the story. Places such as the main ballroom played an important
