In many cases it is not just Buffy that fights the vampires but the group work together to plan and
workout the historical facts on many of the characters that they are up against.
In season 2 Buffy and Angel are going out with each other although Buffy is aware he is a vampires.
This relationship shows that the difference between good and evil is very close with many of the evil

Pompeii. Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79AD, destroying the city and killing all of its inhabitants. The
movie did do a fairly good job of portraying the correct historical details of what this day in history
would have actually been like.
For the opening of the movie the writings of Pliny the younger, a young man who witnessed the
eruption and wrote about the occurrences of that day, were quoted. Although Pliny had written the
description of the day many years after the eruption, it is the best description on what actually
happened. The producers of the movie also used footage of the actual ruins of Pompeii to help recreate
the city for the set and any green screen footage. By using photos of the ruins they were able to rebuild

In this passage, the reader is exposed to two distinct categories of relationships, one of which being
the relationship between Hero and her eventual suitor which is a type of relationship borne out of
necessity and social conformity. Both Anthony s and Leonato s statements in this passage support this
traditional ideal of marriage and love by dictating to Hero her answer in regards to the impending
proposal from whom Hero s family believes to be Don Pedro rather than granting her the power of
choice. Anthony blatantly assumes that Hero will adhere to the course of action her father wishes

It has been a great eight week course and my view of Philosophy has changed a lot. I never took a
class like this and learned a lot not only about various Philosopher s but also about myself. This class

Thoreau, Socrates, Frankl and Pieper and their view and experiences were fun and made me think
about what Philosophy is and why we need it in our lives.
The reading and discussion that had the most impact on my thinking this term was Thoreau s Walden
in which we discussed the meaning of explore thyself (Thoreau) and enslave oneself (Thoreau) and
the meaning of fulfillment. Thoreau felt that each person s definition of fulfillment was individual.
That one person can feel they lives a fulfilled life by running marathon s and doing iron men
competitions and another would feel the same way by painting or accomplishing a long term goal.
Thoreau was great at expressing himself through words and could pull you into his world and assist
you in understanding his view and feelings. To explore thyself is a process in which you view

Final Design
Our final design for the ball sorting device is composed of 5 primary components: Ramp, separation
device, dome, base, and collection device.
Separation device:
The need for a separation device came to attention as interference between the balls on the ramp as
well as the dome was observed. To avoid interference there needed to be space between the balls. The
separation device is a hollow, circular cylinder with rods inserted horizontally (parallel to the radius
and perpendicular to the height) from one side and out throughout the other, but at different angles,
with vertical spacing between the rods. This would basically function like a pegboard; As the balls fall
into the cylinder they will collide with the road and will fall onto either side of the rod, and continue
falling until they hit another rod. Each time they hit a rod there will be a ½ probability for the balls to
tilt towards either side. A total of of rods were inserted. A cardboard tube was used as the cylinder and
chopsticks as the rods. The materials chosen were cheap, lightweight, and strong enough. This
introduces randomness in the system as well the slowing of the balls falling so that space between the
balls are created. The balls then enter the ramp.

The ramp is the source of energy for the balls. Energy here is in the form of gravity, as the start of the

Rhetorical Analysis Of Kentucky Fried Chicken
Kentucky fried chicken, also known as KFC, have made many commercials over time. This analysis is
on a specific old commercial, sadly of unknown age, but probably from around 1950 1960. The
commercial in question is found on YouTube, and it s made in USA. KFC is a fast food chain that sells
fried chicken, amongst other things, and is especially popular is the US.
To summarize the commercial it starts with a few women being displayed, all thinking about what to
serve for dinner. Luckily Colonel Sanders has the answer, they show a clip from one of the many
KFCs in the country and show the chicken being made. A family then sits down and happily enjoys a

The fact that they have a special price is great, but just putting a picture on the screen is not what we
want to see. As mentioned before, the music is suiting to the commercial, however it hasn t any
excitement to it. In the whole, the clip has an old feel to it, in a negative way. It is an old commercial,
which makes it rather obvious that it will look old, but that part is not appreciated by everyone today.
There are a few things that could be modified to make it better, for example the special price. To make
it more interesting, it should be moving after a few seconds, for instance display someone enjoying the
two for one meal. The ancient feeling is a bit hard to remove without remaking the entire commercial
today, but maybe that s a good thing. This commercial isn t like the rest and perhaps that s what people
like about it. If I received the chance to make some small adjustments I would probably start with
finding them a catchphrase.
To wrap it all up, KFC has really succeeded with this commercial, it s convincing and looks delicious.
There is a slight problem though, I m a vegetarian, therefore I won t buy the product. I also happen to
know the truth behind the meat industry and do not wish to support it. My opinions however, do not
have anything to do with the commercial, and if I wasn t aware of all this, I would probably buy the

Within the scope of studying high school and college level subject areas, my choices among the
techniques would be represented in the methods which are described within state dependent memory
and within order effects. Consequently, rarely is the material that is studied grouped into certain
categories beyond how it is originally presented, nor is the material digested with the use of additional
aids. The most preferred methods seem to relate more with my state of consciousness. When studying
or preparing prior to a test, most definitely I will have consumed some form of caffeine. Although
wishing to be well rested, my time management and lifestyle does not always allow for this luxury.
While studying, the preference is to be within a specific environment, avoiding too many external
distractions. Even so, listening to my favorite music through my headphones, lifts my mood and
provides me the focus needed. Lastly, I enjoy being quizzed with virtual flashcards while walking
outdoors, which combines order effects technique with a state dependent method. Unfortunately, it
may not be the purest form of a state dependent method, since for example, exams are not given while
walking through a park.
Effectiveness of my personal study habits. Without controls and specific conditions, that appear
crucial to support effectiveness with any of these retention methods, it is hard to assert my preferred
choice as effective or ineffective with learning in general. With confidence, I can state that I succeeded
to achieve my desired outcome. I have been maintaining an A average majority of my educational
career. I have experienced considerable success in more recent years when I have incorporated several
