With the progression of globalization, the recognition of how to be a good citizen and how to act as a
good citizen in the global age has drawn more and more attention. In addition, the direction of
education shifts from the knowledge and skills dissemination to building global values to be well
connected in the world. This paper aims to indicate multiple understandings of citizenship and
specifically interprets three dimensions of citizenship: citizenship as a status, as a practice and as a
feeling. Besides, understandings about global citizenship will be explored as well. Last but not the
least, how global citizenship education is applied to the concepts of citizenship and global citizenship
in order to be a good citizen and act as a good citizen.

Mass media has a huge influence on communities across America. There are numerous mass media
platforms like the internet, tv, magazines, and radio. Through the use of this platforms, messages are
able to be given to the public at a huge and rapid rate. Information can at times, however, be
misleading. Due to the fact that the media has a huge influence on the views of people, it is often used
as a way to deteriorate the image of a certain group or individual, underrepresenting them in the

make my research as credible as possible. The population interest were Latinos and the media during

information to my topic. As information was gathered, some of the sources that were of little to no use
were taken out of the research. When going through the information gathering while reading, there
was a lot of focus given on the data and its analysis done by the researchers. Once information was

Riding with my older sister, Alex, when she first started driving was terrifying. The car swerved and
jerked as she sped down the highway. Sitting in the backseat, my eyes were constantly wide with fear,

Introduction Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso were both profoundly influenced by the art of Paul
Cézanne, somewhat ironically since the latter is reported to have been quite uncertain of his artistic
contributions and anxious about his legacies (Merleau Ponty, 1945). Picasso described Cézanne as my
one and only master ; while Matisse noted that it is undoubtedly to Cézanne that I owe the most . The
Large Bathers was one of two final paintings produced by Cézanne in 1906, the year of his death. At
this stage Matisse had acquired a reputation as an upcoming artistic leader via an exhibition in 1905
(Bio, n.d. #1); while Picasso was a 25 year old prodigy who had already secured lucrative patronage
(Bio, n.d. #2). The three paintings of interest must be considered in the context of their artists
evolution. To examine the relationship between the three paintings, I will first briefly summarise the
artistic trends of the day to provide context, then examine The Large Bathers. I will then compare and
contrast Matisse s Bonheur de Vivre and Picasso s Les Demoiselles d Avignon, both with The Large

To appeal to her intended audience she used Ethos because she uses personal experience to explain her
evidence, this gives a personal insight in her life and the audience can see how her experience has
helpt her protecting her of sexual pressure. As for logos she used it for explanation of cause and effect,

live together, ones who choose their professional job to be in a workplace where joint benefits are
offered, and ones who choose a religious community which accepts their relationship. Those who

Anyone could sit and debate this issue all day long, but understanding the reality of the situation is
another story. Everyone s reality is different and everyone s perspective on same sex marriage is
different. If society came together as a whole and realized that any person who is categorized as gay
