The story of Jean Claude Romand is a very peculiar one. It comes into question
how one man could fool all his friends and families with several lies that would be

HD DVD (Williams, 2008). HD DVD (High Definition/Density DVD) transformed
the way we view digital media in the early 2000 s. It was predicted that the HD
DVD would be the successor to the standard DVD format.

Coming from a large family, I ve been around babies and children since I was a child
myself. this is where my passion for children originated. When I turned 12, I got

environment. Without a healthy, respectful, and safe classroom environment,
successful teaching is impossible. Both Dave and Mary Ann offered positive
feedback on this aspect for me. Dave said Ms. Stanislawski has good command of
the classroom. She uses appropriate pacing, knows the content, and engages
students with appropriate questions and responses to student inquiry. And Mary
Ann said Audra has a special way of interacting with students. She seems very
relaxed, is able to quickly think on her feet. She smiles, and is animated when
teaching a lesson varying the tone of her voice, outstretching her arms to illustrate
a point, etc. Receiving both these pieces of feedback encourages me to continue
creating the classroom environment that I do. This is an aspect of my teaching
that, although I did not receive any negative feedback, will continue to work on.
This is one of the aspects that I enjoy about my teaching style and with the
feedback given, I will continue to grow and expand on what I already have. This
placement was my first experience working with 7th and 8th grade students. When I

Summary of the Incident
On February 20, 2003, at 23:10 hours, the West Warwick, Rhode Island fire
department was dispatched to a structure fire at 211 Cowesett Avenue
(Grosshandler, Bryner, Madrzykowski, Kuntz, 2005). The structure was the
location of The Station nightclub, which contained an estimated 458 occupants,
which was above the maximum allowed occupancy of 404 which was established
by the City of West Warwick (Grosshandler et al., 2005). The fire resulted in a
massive loss of life as 96 people died at the scene, 3 died within days, and one person
died 70 days later, bringing the death toll to 100 persons (Grosshandler et al., 2005).
The large crowd was present at the nightclub to witness a performance of the rock
band Great White , who used pyrotechnics during the performance which directly
contributed to the ignition of polyurethane foam panels that were installed in the
building by the club owners to serve as soundproofing. As the fire began to grow

A culture discussed in class that had interesting difference to American culture was
Alaskan storytelling where the stressed importance was the relationship of the
storyteller to the listener or audience. I imagined Alaskan populations spread out all
