On May 28, 2015, high school students Morgan Cassidy and Coralyn Whalen performed their self
choreographed jazz duet, titled Clarity. Clarity is the story of two people in a very addicting

other pieces performed in St. Theresa Catholic Secondary Schools dancerecital, was an effective
and eye catching piece that used distinct emotion throughout the entire song. The piece had very

Abstract
The reason for conducting this lab is discover is changing hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)
concentration will affect the rate of reaction. During the experiment, the H2O2 rate will be
changed and pressure will be measured using a gas pressure sensor. The data suggests that as the
hydrogen peroxide concentration increases, the rate of diffusion increases and that my hypothesis
is valid.
Introduction
Hydrogen peroxide is a by product of biochemical metabolism. The accumulation of hydrogen
peroxide can be deadly, so it must be decomposed. One of the decomposing factors is an enzyme
called Catalase. Catalase breaks hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen. Since this is a
decomposition reaction, it is exothermic. Hydrogen peroxide can gradually degenerate itself, it
decomposes much faster with the help of Catalase which lowers the activation energy to the
minimum energy barrier that hydrogen peroxide molecules should overcome to decompose.

This semester I visited the Reach Academy in West Harrison, New York. My experience observing
gave me incredible insight into the world of special education. The Reach Academy is a residential

Have you ever known a psychopath who finds pleasure of going around and murdering thousands
of people? In Erik Larson s nonfiction novel, A Devil in the White City, published in 2003, he sets
the scene around the World s Fair in Chicago. During this time, the city preoccupies themselves
with the new construction and excitement of the fair that it draws away attention from the rather
secretive, sly, serial killer, H.H. Holmes. Larson uses figurative language, imagery, and juxtaposition
throughout the entire novel to develop just how sinister natured Holmes truly is.
Throughout his novel, Erik Larson uses figurative language to reference the iniquitous, hidden
personality displayed in Holmes. For example, the office building where Holmes portrays his
work is similar to an empty space, where the gaslight [cannot] reach (Larson 166) it fully, which

The setting takes place in present day Texas throughout the whole novel. The main characters
were Sunny Reynolds (14) who was the main detective of the novel, and the younger sister of the
dead sister, who died in a fire in New York, but was deeply loved by everyone, Deborah Hallard a
girl who looked and pretended to be Jasmine Reynolds (the girl who died), but knew everything
about her and her family, and Dan and Lily Reynolds the parents of Sunny and Jasmine. Dan had
a drinking problem, and Lily was depressed because of her beloved daughter who was dead,
Jasmine. The mystery of the story was when a letter arrived to Sunny s house from her dead
sister, two months after her sister passed away. It said that Jasmine was going to come home
because she ran away even though she was reported dead. When Jazz arrived at her family s
doorstep, everyone besides Lily knew that it wasn t the real Jasmine. They weren t sure who she
was, why she was at their home pretending to be someone who she wasn t, and how she knew
everything about the Reynold s family and their secrets. The detective in the novel was Sunny
Reynolds. She was always trying to find clues about the girl pretending to be her sister, calling
people to get as much information as possible, and would even look through the girl s bags even if
that risked her getting caught because unlike some people, she had nothing
