eyewitness testimonies in the current criminal justice system. Results collated by several studies
add to the bulk of literature suggesting that the current usage of eyewitness testimony by the legal
system is far from ideal. Currently, high emphasis is being placed on reviewing and reconsidering
eyewitness accounts (Leinfelt, 2004). In particular, recent DNA exoneration cases have
substantiated the warnings of eyewitness identification researchers by showing that mistaken
eyewitness identification was the largest single factor contributing to the conviction of innocent

We are testing for the presence of lipids, the amount and how polar they are. The bigger the dot,
the higher the concentration and the farther the dot the more nonpolar it is. A positive test for lipid

Introduction In this report, I will be explaining two surface features which are visually
interesting to geologists and tourists in the Taupo Volcanic Zone (TVZ), Lake Taupo, and Mt
Ruapehu. Lake Taupo is a main tourist attraction as it is the largest lake in New Zealand with a
beautiful scenery perfect for activities like recreational fishing and sky diving. Furthermore, it
generates electrical energy via the Waikato river that is used by people all around waikato. Mt
Ruapehu is also a tourist attraction as the highest peak on the North Island with two major ski
fields and only glaciers on its slopes. Creation Believe it or not, both surface features are active
volcanoes. Lake Taupo a caldera, and Mt Ruapehu a stratovolcano. These volcanoes were
formed because TVZ is a convergent plate boundary where the Pacific (Oceanic) plate which is
more dense ,is getting subducted under the Australian (Continental) crust which is less dense.
This is being driven by a force called convection which happens in the asthenosphere which is
fluid. It is when the fluid near the core heats up, and rises due to it s low density compared to the
surrounding fluid. This fluid then cools down and sinks due to it s high density compared to the
surrounding fluid. It therefore gets near to the core again and so, repeats the cycle. The direction

Malware is a class of malicious code that incorporates viruses, worms, and Trojan horses.
Specialized communication tools are used by destructive malwares in order to spread. Malwares
could be distributed by means of email and texts, Trojan horses dropped from web sites, and virus
infected records obtained from peer to peer connections. Malwares looks for existing flaws and
loopholes in the system architecture to make a peaceful and simple entrance.
Head office and manufacturing company resources are connected through Virtual Private
Connections (VPN) which has been setup using Fiber Optic cables; to ensure a secure data
transmission between connected devices. A security threat still exists if either end of the connected

In the midst of the current yoga trend, a new book on the subject seems to be popping up every
week. The once small yoga section of the local bookstore seems to be quickly expanding with
books on philosophy, sanskrit, anatomy, yoga posture s, how to take yoga photos, and the list goes
on and on. However, I question whether or not our society needs more general information about
the subject of yoga. Instead, I think we are in desperate need of the guidance that teaches us how

The short stories, A Sunrise on the Veld and At the Pitt Rivers , have nothing in common if you
analyze them on a shallow literature level. A Sunrise on the Veld by Doris Lessing, highlights
some of the reasons why life is so valuable. Lessing hints her readers that this short story is set
somewhere in the desert by, ... the flesh of his soles contracted on the chilled earth, and his legs
began to ache with cold... He slung the shoes over his shoulder... they would be necessary when
the ground became too hot to bear, (Lessing, pg. 1212). Most deserts get heated by the sun by day,
but loses the heat at night. The boy starts hunting, at first, but then is distracted by a wounded buck.
Seeing this buck suffer, depicts him especially sad. A boy is also the protagonistin At the Pitt
Rivers by Penelope Lively. This boy spends his time in a museum, observing people and writing
poems as the time passes. He keeps track of a couple he sees at the museum. The couple catches his
attention because they are not his ideal of what a couple should look like. If a kindergartener read
these two short stories, he/she would find nothing in common with the stories. But, if the reader has
the ability to analyze the text in more depth, he/she would find that they are more similar than the
kindergartener would think.

Jane Addams And The Movement Of The Progressive Movement
The progressive movement began in 1890 and went to around 1920. The purpose of this was to
fix some serious issues that were happening in the country. This includes corruption, sexism
towards women, racism, discrimination against religion, big businesses and corporations, etc.
The people realized that things needed to change fast. For things to move into the right
direction, people needed to start making the right moves. Having the president on this side was
crucial as well. The leaders needed to know exactly who and what to go for to better the country
and prevent it from getting worse for the poor and common people. While not everything was
able to get fixed under the progressive movement, it served its purpose and did change a great
deal of horrible things going on in the US at the time. There are countless things that the
progressive movement had tried to fix. Protecting social welfare was one of its goals. Big issue
was the poor communities were not given the same treatment as the middle and upper class
communities. For this, Jane Addams took to a poor neighborhood and built a settlement house
that provided for the community. Instead of living and working from home, she lived in the
house herself to see what these people had to go through in their daily lives. Such reformers
believed that only by living among the poor could they help bridge the growing class divide.
