Daily Food Recommendation
According to the 2005 US food guide pyramid, my daily food recommendations are 3 cups of
milk, 5.5 ounces of meat and beans, 2.5 cup of vegetable, 2 cups of fruit, and 6 ounces of grains.
After compare my 3 days food records to the recommendation, I have had good amount of fruit and
vegetable daily. Nevertheless, my daily milk and grains intake are much less than the
recommendation. Also I had foodin the meat and beans group more than the recommendation.
I could improve my daily intake by drinking more milk, but since milk is not my favorite drink I
would prefer having more yogurts instead. Moreover, I could have more grains especially whole
grain which is recommended to be half of the daily grains recommendation. Another daily intake
that I should improve is the grains group, instead of having plain English muffins as I used to, I
should have whole wheat English muffins. Also since I regularly have rice with most of my
meals, I can substitute brown rice for white rice. Not only brown rice is a good source of energy,
but it is also the best source for vitamins. Since I need to increase consuming more food in milk
and grains groups, so in order to restraint my energy intake, I probably need to reduce my meat

only boiled water for hygienic purposes, and one day while he drank a breeze rustled the branches

ancient China. China was not unified as an empire until the third century, so it is unlikely
emperors existed back then. One thing that is known is that tea was popular in China thousands

recommended the beverage to patients to increase concentration and alertness. Tea was first
written as tu in ancient texts. This caused a good deal of confusion because the same Chinese

Thursday the 31st of August, I, Heather Scott had the pleasure and privilege to do an external
clinical rotation at the army base Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. During orientation, we were
flattered to be told that by doing so we are providing a service for our country.
I saw four soldiers as my patients. The dentist would do a brief external and internal exam,
palpating lymph nodes and checking pocket depths. I hand scaled and used the cavitron when
working with all my patients. I polished, flossed and applied a melon flavored varnish sealant. I
disliked that the polish was not fine grit, and would have to research and provide such evidence if
