Global Merger Essay
It is proper to present a business definition of merger as it found on legal reference with the
ultimate goal in the pursuing of an explanation on which this paper intents to present. A merger in
accordance with the textbook is legally defined as a contractual and statuary process in which the
(surviving corporation) acquires all the assets and liabilities of another corporation (the merged
corporation). The definition go even farther to involve and clarify about what happen to shares by
explaining the following; the shareholders of the merged corporation either are paid for their share
or receive the shares of the surviving corporation . But in simple terms is my attempt to define as

It is an interest point to mention Citi Bank (mostly based on the northeast USA) from the Citi
Group who makes a move to add some fun in this particular merging process. The terms learned
on class such as contract, negotiation, creditors, agreements, counteroffer and other will be
utilized and applied as a matter of review enabling for the a better understanding of the learned
concepts from Business Law. During the recent years the economy, the business world and the
government have been experiencing tremendous change that is impacting all common private and
public business practices. Business are experiencing a Global Financial Crisis on which are not
only the local or national markets but also the global markets are impacted on a negative and at
times threaten the existence of powerful established corporations and organization. The new era is
not a safe haven for no one anymore; including those who one time were described as solid
financial enterprises. This environment has obligated the USA government on to attempt to rescue

Analysis Of The Play A Midsummer Night Dream
This is the first section where I m going to discuss the overview of this play. The message in the
play Chicago was society always want to seek happiness through seeking people s approval, but
this will conclude into the exact opposite, and this was portrayed through the life of Roxie Hart.
I saw the play Chicago on May 4, 2017 at 8 p.m. I was seated center row A seat 106. The cost of
the ticket was approximately $11 since I purchased it in a package with the play A Midsummer
Night Dream which costed me $22 for the set. There were way more people in the audience than
the A Midsummer Night Dream play since the theater was way bigger. The audience were very

In my opinion, this is definitely a musical play. All the characters dialogues were through
singing. The characters were basically singing their messages across, and it works. In my
opinion, they spoke in a sort of high pitched voice. They spoke with very high confidence, and I
haven t really noticed a flaw or mess up during the play. No actors in the play really stuttered,
and it seem like they spoke/sang their lines perfectly. This is the third section where I m going to
discuss the director and the performers. In my opinion, all the performers did great from the
main casts to the extras to the background people playing music. I felt like Gabrielle Rochblatt,
the person that played Roxie Hart did a great job with singing and acting. There is a reason why
Gabrielle was given the task to play Roxie Hart which is the main character and basically had the
most line out of any characters. Gabrielle had this charisma when she say her lines or sing. Her
character, Roxie Hart will do something that can make her seem like a villain, but for some reason,
it s hard to dislike her. Yes, it can be because she is also a protagonistcharacter, but I feel part of it
has to do with Gabrielle charismatic performance on stage. Her looks also fit her role as well.
The producers were very smart when choosing her for this role. Gabrielle had the total package. A
lot of times, many people are capable of acting, but it

Bus Transit And Mass Transit
1 INTRODUCTION
1.1General
In urban areas due to expansion of cities and population growth the major problems which arise are
more travel time and more travel cost. For Developing countries like India, China, Brazil etc. taking
affordability and mobility into account the policy makers induced public transport system for
movements like inter urban or intra urban. Various examples are BusTransit Mass Transit. Due to
bigger city size and fixed routes of these systems its accessibility varies for different user. These
predefined fixed routes do not take into account the whole catchment area from where the users
are using. Among these users there are some users which use daily bases are known as
commuters. Such commuters access/egress the transit system by a variety of modes such as by
walking, bicycle, manual tricycle, motorized 2 3 wheeler, feeder bus services and cars. Each
mode has its utility within certain distance range (Khistey and Sriraj 1996) . Increase in city size
has reflected in the utility of various modes, utility of motorized vehicles have increased whereas
the utility of non motorized have decreased. From socio economic point, these include loss of
employment, slow elimination of environment friendly modes like bicycles, manual tricycles and
walk and increase in population levels. The mode choice for access and egress varies for various
users but for policy makers it is very important to identify the factors which are influencing these

Conflicts Within A Group And How A Manager Can Bring Up...
Conflicts can happen in everyday life with people and in organizations. Conflicts need to be
handled so that the situation does not escalate further. Most people look at conflicts as a bad
situation, but not all conflicts are bad, some are good, especially when discussing an idea within a
group. In an organization there are times when a conflictmay need to happen for an issue to be
resolved, but when this happens the people involved need to look at if this conflict is really
necessary to resolve the issue. How to address conflicts in a group and how a manager can bring
up the conflict without making them worse is what will be discussed next. At many jobs there
are projects given that have to be completed in groups and they re more than likely is going to be
people within the group that do not necessarily agree on how the project should be completed.
This can cause a conflict to arise and to resolve this conflict requires all members of the group to
have a say in the resolution. To ensure sufficient discussion of contentious issues in a work group,
I would have one person be in charge of the group. This person would make sure that everyone had
a turn to give their input and I would make it known to all the group members that what is said
cannot be held against the person who says it. When managers need to bring up unspoken conflicts
into the open without making them worse, it may be best to have a third party present that can
ensure that the issue is addressed

Motifs In The Film s Music
The film s music was written by James Newton Howard, who is also known for his work in
Batman Begins (2005), Pretty Woman (1990) and King Kong (2005), is known for extensive use
of multiple chord progressions, false cadences, and changes in key.The film has three main groups
of musical motifs. One is the slow, soft Appalachian sound with folk type musicusing fiddle, banjo
and vocals for the main character Katniss in District 12 (coal mining area) which gives the idea of
the culture; a simple life with little music. The second is the bold, marching drums and brass
sounds from the Capitol of Panem, used in parades which gives the impression of strength and unity.

As they get on the chariots ( Preparing the Chariots ; track 6 of The Hunger Games Score) the
music begins to build using strings and starts introducing the Panem theme with a march feel
from bass and percussion. When they ride into the Capital ( Horn of Plenty ; track 7 of The
Hunger Games Score), the Panem theme comes at you in full force. With cymbal crashes, drums
and bold brass, the march begins giving the impression of power and grandeur. As Katniss and
Peeta emerge from the tunnel with the costumes on fire, the music intensifies as together they
hold up their hands together as a symbol of unity. The Capital motif continues in the background
as Katniss and Peeta begin training for the arena ( Penthouse/Training and Learning the Skills ;
track 8 and 9 of The Hunger Games Score). The same middle eastern theme with a madeline is
heard again giving the impression of a foreign, unfamiliar environment. This leads into low,
uncertain feel from adagiostrings in a minor key. As more people are showing their skills, the
music begins to intensify and the drums/percussion begin march type of music to demonstrate the
military feel of the environment. The final group of motifsbegins when everyone has trained and
are put into the arena. She is blinded as she comes up from the tube and a monotone, electric
sound is heard giving the impression of confusion. This gives way to a low buzzing sound as

Essay A. Marcello Oboe Concerto in D Minor
Charles Pridgen
CONS 422a
From the journal of Antonio Vivaldi
December 12, 1717
As noted in a previous journal entry, I had made a trip to Cöthen where the great composer,
Johann Sebastian Bach, is under the service of Prince Leopold. There I heard a recent keyboard
transcription of Bach s. The transcription was of a piece called Concerto in D minor for Oboe,
Strings and Basso Continuo. Bach listed the composer as the well known Venetian composer
Benedetto Marcello. As I listened to the piece, I was captured by the simple yet eloquent melodies
that were presented but I also was curious as I had not known of Benedetto to write for oboe. I
also know that Marcello stated, Oboes, flutes, trumpets, bassoons, etc., will always be out of ...

There are three Marcello brothers, Alessandro, Benedetto and Girolamo, who were born of
nobility here in Venice. Benedetto is well known for his music. Alessandro composes also but his
interests actually lie more with philosophy, mathematics, history, chemistry, painting and poetry.
Alessandro has a small body of work in music. This is probably due to him being much more of a
figure head in the Venetian government since his father passed away in 1707. Benedetto has a
much larger body of work composing of many instrumental and sacred vocal pieces. I recalled that
considering the academic pursuits of the Marcellos, that it was possible that they were members of
the Arcadian colony. The Arcadians were a new movement of intellectuals that emphasized the
respect of artistic achievement and a return to the Greek ideals that music and poetry worked
together. They also wished to avoid lavish displays and encouraged simplicity. The Arcadians
would also use pseudonyms and I discovered that the pseudonym of Eterio Stinfalico belonged to
Alessandro Marcello.
Now that I learned who the true author was, I went to seek out Alessandro. It is typical of nobles
such as the Marcello to conduct concerts in their home. I went to the Palazzo Marcello and
discovered a concert was being performed that had the concerto on its program. The oboist was
unknown to me. The audience contained mostly nobles and government

Blanche Dubois Body Image
Blanche Blanche would portray the image of a middle aged blonde that has blue eyes and an
outgoing personality. She would have visible signs of aging on her face as well as other obvious
indicators that her prime years took place in the past. She would not admit it, but she has many
problems with body image and looking attractive to the opposite sex which she tries to disguise
by resembling an outgoing person. Other physical attributes would include long slender legs that
she makes sure appear visible as often as possible. She would make herself high maintenance and
sassy as if she belonged or at least deserved to belong anywhere she felt fit. These descriptors

He has a defined physique and facial structure that allows him to come across as having an
intimidation factor. This intimidation factor plays into the beating of his wife Stella and her
unwillingness to do anything about it because she acts too intimidated by his rage and eruptions
in emotion. It also ends up clear that Stanley s masculine and toned appearance comes off as so
attractive to Stella that she develops a naivety to his controlling and abusive behavior and looks
past it in return for sexual favors. Stanley s combined traits that include muscularity, masculinity,
aggressiveness, and blondeness led me to choosing Dolph Lundgren as the actor who would play
Stanley. Dolph Lundgren plays the antagonist Ivan Drago in the fourth Rocky movie versus
Russia. He portrays an aggressive Russian (close to Polish) who has an aggressive attitude with
no intention of backing down at anything unless he feels like backing down. This relates to
Stanley for the obvious reasons of aggression but also in the fact that Stanley never backed down
from trying to get Blanche to leave his home and his wife alone. The costume that Stanley would
wear would resemble a wife beater and jeans most of the time, at least at home. This outfit fits his
non traditional personality as well as his rough/manly military

Analysis Paralysis Essay
Analysis paralysis is a term most Executive Recruiters recognize. It strikes unsuspecting new and
seasoned recruiters alike. When one concentrates on the possibilities of what can go wrong during a
search, or worry about their performance, they tend to stop taking action. When activity stops
placements stop.
Action is the secret to keeping analysis paralysis from destroying a career. Focus on the end result.
A successful result is when a candidate is hired, starts their new job, and payment is received. God
bless fee payments! Engaging candidates and employers in conversation is the highest priority.
Delegate low end tasks to support staff. Initially most headhunters learn the intricacies of the
recruitment process by completing each step themselves.

Keep your business simple. Qualify candidates and send them on interviews. Follow the steps and
stay on task. If you take the actions that lead to scheduling three or four interviews a week with
clients you ll avoid analysis paralysis. Generally the more intelligent a person is the more likely
they are to encounter the problem.
Practice, practice, practice! Forget about mistakes because they re part of learning to be a great
recruiter. Take a deep breath and move forward. Day by day mistakes become fewer. Those who
suffer from analysis paralysis tend to be highly self critical. They want to do everything well and
are used to seeing themselves as highly competent. We ve all been there.
Self correction is built into the recruitment process. Headhunters become highly intuitive. They ask
questions all day long and those who learn to listen carefully develop the ability to ask the right
question at the best time. Their minds become nimble and responses lazor sharp. Expect to strike

Essay on Gimpel the Fool
Gimpel the Fool An Explication of Singer s Gimpel the Fool
The story Gimpel the Fool is written in first person point of view; and the narrator, Gimpel, is
the main character in the story. In the opening paragraph in the story Singer shows how reliable
of a narrator that Gimpel is. Gimpel shares many of the nicknames he has had given to him in
school, including imbecile, donkey, flax head, dope, glump, ninny, and fool. He then says that
he was considered a fool because he was easily taken in. He gave an example of one of the
situations that earned him that title. They said, Gimpel, you know the rabbi s wife has been
brought to childbed? So I skipped school. Well, it turned out to be a lie. How was I supposed to? She

He also gives you insight on his thought process, which is very open and unguarded. After his
second example of foolishness Gimpel says, I was no weakling. If I slapped someone he d see all
the way to Cracow. But I m really not a slugger by nature. I think to myself, Let it pass. So they
take advantage of me. These are not words of a fool, but they are words of a very trusting and
reliable character.
Gimpel is made to be a protagonist character in the opening paragraph. Singer kind of makes you
feel sorry for him with the stories of the other kids being mean to him in school. That combined
with his rigorous honesty, you find yourself sympathizing for Gimpel. Singer makes Gimpel out to
be an innocent soul that is taken advantage of for the other children s amusement and
entertainment. By doing this Singer makes the other children antagonist characters. In a way the
children are lumped together to be one character; kind of like Gimpel s nemesis. Singer uses a
couple of different ways to create the character Gimpel. First of all he uses what other characters
say about him and do to him. As we know the other kids at school say he is a fool, and take
advantage of him for their own entertainment. I don t think that this was used make him into a
foolish character. I think it was used to make Gimpel into a victim, a sympathetic character. Next,
the narrator s descriptions of himself do a big part of creating his

The Shift From Modernity To Postmodernity
Modernity
Describe the main features of the shift from modernity to postmodernity
Post modernity or post modernism as coined during the counter culture era of the 1960s and 70s
has been highly contestant, ever since it was first used describe the death of modern architecture
and art during the same period. It is this debate of being in a state of modernity or post modernity
that will lead me to describe the shifts in cultural, economic and political views and values that
demonstrates a shift in values from modern to post modern views sociy. This shift to post
modernity has been highly influenced through the works of postmodern artists and architects and
academics such as Focult (Venn, C., Featherstone, M. 2006), Burroughs, Barthelme, Rauschenberg
and Cage (Clarke, S. 2006), who all describe modernity being an exhausted idea, due to the shift of
values changing society to a period of post modernity.
In this essay I will argue that we are now living in a new age of post modernity by describing and
explaining the transition of modernity to post modernity by analysing the social dimensions that
modernity has shifted from to postmodernity. I will also look at the main features of both modernity
and postmodernity and explore their features to draw the conclusion that postmodernity is not a
new era but a new social movement of different views and perspectives.

Anne Bradstreet s Here Follows Some Follows Upon The...
An elegy, a poem written in honor of a deceased. It mourns the death of an individual through
looking at the bright side. It can release stress because of all the emotions that could not be held in
anymore. This can be clearly portrayed in Anne Bradstreet s Here Follows Some Verses upon the
Burning of Our House and Thomas Gray s Elegy Written in Country Churchyard. Both of the
writers have feelings of depression. The writers bring up subtle comparisons between the poem and
themselves. The arising themes remain constant through spirituality. In both of the stories, there is
an identified preposition of melancholy, potential, and spirituality.
To start off with the poem Here Follows Some Verses upon the Burning of Our House, Anne
Bradstreet sets up the tone of sadness and says that she was awakened by a noise, a voice
screaming fire and how heartbreaking it was to lose her home and possessions (Elegy 178).
Bradstreet describes how her home looks after the incident. Her and her family have to start all
over again. Bradstreet feels like everything has been taken away from her and will not be able to
move on in line. She is having feelings of melancholy. Consequently, Bradstreet has an epiphany
and says, Adieu, adieu, all s vanity (Elegy 179). This means that she is saying all her possessions
are worthless. This is a turning point in Bradstreet s life that she was gifted with. She now sees
how her ambition, potential, and hope can change her future life. She had been taking

Ultrasound Position Papers
Position Paper My first experience with physical therapy occurred in my small hometown of
northern Michigan. The clinic was a local private practice which had been around for years.
Looking back, some of the techniques used in this location did not seem to be exclusively
evidenced based. One specific instance I recall is how my physical therapist used ultrasound on my
knee after I tore my ACL. This treatment technique in the physical therapy setting is what I would
like to focus this paper on. Never being employed as a physical therapy aide or even in the
healthcare setting my experience and knowledge on the subject was minimal. The physical therapist
had my full trust and any technique he performed went on without question. One could assume...

Therefore, if you do or do not decide to use ultrasound in your practice, there should also be
exercise and movement based treatments in the plan. Through researching this topic, I have made
some great conclusions. I believe it is paramount that additional research is conducted regarding the
effectiveness of ultrasound as treatment. If I had to choose between using or not using ultrasound
in my practice, I would not use it. I believe our profession is capable of problem solving and
developing new techniques that will be even more effective and most importantly, evidenced based.
I want to be known for my integrity and trustworthiness with my patients. I feel as though the 5 10
minutes it takes to treat with ultrasound could be used in a more effective way. Now, if a patient
were to specifically ask for ultrasound as a treatment, I would explain what the research states. If
they still wanted to, maybe because of previous experience, I would continue with the ultrasound
treatment. In the vast majority of cases, ultrasound is completely safe. If the patient shows
improvement from ultrasound, placebo or not, it benefits the patient. The patient is the most
important aspect of this argument, we cannot forget

How Did The Serfs Affect Feudal Society
Serfs had a place in the feudal system as a low class peasant. Serfs made up the majority of the
medieval population, doing grueling work. Serfs made up most of the population, with a
whopping 90%! The population was a larger amount of serfs than knights. Serfs were also
known as farmers, meaning they gave food and crops to villagers. The crops would help sustain
them for a long time, and only a few serfs were strong enough to work in the fields and harvest
them, for most serfs caught the Black Plague. The serfs caught Black Plague from fleas in the
fields (King 4). Serfs were bound to land that the lordowned. The serfs provided their own food
and clothing from his work. Along with feeding himself, he had to give a portion to the lord... Show

The Salisbury Oath was an example of how the feudal society worked. The oath wasn t a
massive change in the feudal society, but it did have some effect on services. The feudal oath
changed slightly. In feudal law, the members of society still had the same social classes. The
oaths kept the feudal systems in tact. The oaths were helpful to members of society because they
had said that each worker had to do his job in the medieval village and they usually used a sacred
oath to God (Birney 85). Feudalism already existed in England at the time, but became stronger
and stronger under each oath made. Changes in law were to be expected, like changes in taxing,
military service and even a shift of power was made sometimes. The idea of feudalism had begun
long before members of society realized (Birney 84). The Salisbury Oath was not necessarily a
feudal oath. England practiced feudalism, so all tenants acknowledge a supreme member as
their monarch. The members strived for a strong, feudal government, so William created an oath
that was an expansion on feudalism (Birney 85). In feudal times, Oaths were the only source of
agreement. Even the relationship between the feudal lord and the vassal was based on oaths. The
Lord made an oath to protect the vassal s family if anything should happen, and the vassal made
an oath to the lord that he would fight with all the effort possible (Conference Page 2). The many,
oaths and agreements between kings and vassals was considered a reciprocal relationship. Oaths
also kept the Military in tact, causing knights and vassals to dedicate their full service to the feudal
lord. Without the oaths, the military would crumble, leading to a downfall of feudalism
(Conference Page 2). The oaths and agreements were a severe part of feudalism, causing a stronger

Seven Years War Consequences
The Seven Years war was a worldwide conflict fought from 1754 1763 between Great Britain and
their Indian allies against France and their Indian allies. During the early 1750s, the French
expanded into the Ohio River valley which brought along conflict with Britain and their colonies.
The First battle began in 1754 when George Washington launched a surprise attack on the French.
It ended nine years later with the Treaty of Paris. The British won the war. The victory did come
with consequences as they were put in debt and to repay the debt they placed taxes on the colonies.
This caused the colonists to become angered and they ultimately protested after many isolated

Their actions to ease the debt set off a chain reaction and sparked the American Revolution. They
ended the policy of Salutary Neglect because they needed money and this angered the colonists.
They passed the Currency Act which meant that the colonists could not make their own currency.
Then passed the Stamp act that taxed several things including paper, licenses, newspapers, etc.
This angered the colonists because they couldn t ignore it and had to pay more and all of this was
because of the debt from the Seven Years War. Then the colonists started to revolt when they made
the Stamp Act Congress to boycott British goods. In response, Britain passed the Declaratory Act
that allowed them to tax whatever they wanted. The colonists were also angered about how they
were treated by the British. During the war, the colonists saw themselves as equals to the British
soldiers but Great Britain ultimately disagreed. The colonists felt like they were lower than the
British and this made them furious when they also fought with their life on the line. After the war it

Reaction Paper On Apathy
Science may have found a cure for most evils; but it has found no remedy for the worst of them all
the apathy of human beings. Helen Keller s beautifully articulated words reflect the abnormality of
apathy among human beings. Apathy is neither a deadly disease that solely attacks the weak nor a
problem faced by certain groups of people. Apathyaffects humanity as a whole, striking human
beings regardless of race, religion, and culture.
Apathy is generally defined as the absence or suppression of passion, emotion, or excitement (

John Darley and Bibb Latane first demonstrated this effect in 1968 following the murder of Kitty
Genovese. Genovese was murdered in 1964 by Winston Moseley who stabbed her to death near
her home in Queens, New York. Darley and Bibb discovered that the probability of assistance is
inversely related to the number of bystanders present. The more bystanders, the less likely a
person will offer help to a victim in need. In one experiment, Latane and Judith Rodin staged a
distress situation. 70 percent of people, who were alone, offered help to the woman in distress.
However, only 40 percent of people offered help when there were more people present in a room (
Bystander Effect, n.d.). The case of Kitty Genovese further supports our society s growing
societal apathy. Social apathy goes against most religions belief in the Golden Rule, which states,
Do to others as you would have them do to you. To be apathetic in society goes against a human
being s nature. It is virtually impossible to do anything without feeling any form of emotion.
Social apathy reverses altruism and well placed morals in our society. If social apathy were to rise

morning, but that s not what we do. We do our daily routine and get ready. After we all get ready,
then my sister and I opened presents and celebrated. I got clothes, sock slippers, jewelry, comb,
and makeup. My sister and I are so thankful of what we got. After we opened the presents, we
played a game. We played Carrom. Carrom is a board gamewhere there are 9 black coins, 9 white
coins, 1 red coin, and a striker. You re trying to shoot the coins into the goal with a striker. So if I
was white coins, I have to shoot all 8 white coins into the goal. Then there is 1 white coin and 1
red coin. So I have to shoot the red coin into the goal an if I make it, I have to shoot my white
coin. If I make that, the game is over and I would win. If I made all 8 white coins and have to
shoot the red into the goal and if I don t make the red coin into the goal, than I have to put that
coin in the middle. If the other person shoots the the white coin, than the game is over and I would

The Influence of the Western Culture on the
Introduction
Culture is a broad term which has been described by various philosophers since decades. It has
been claimed by Raymond Williams to be ...one of the two or three most complicated words in
English language (Williams, 1976). Different definitions of the term, culture may have distinct
descriptive ways and criterion to evaluate human activity. It is important to define the broad base of
the sophisticated term culture , in the sense used later in the paper, to narrow down the discussion
on our topic.
Culture is a word stemming from a Latin word cultura which means to cultivate (Harper, 2008). It
is defined by Findley and Rothney as, systems of symbols and meanings that even their creator
contest, which lack fixed boundaries, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
At the same time Globalization allows different cultures to combine and integrate through having
common social activists, labor organizers, journalists, academics and many others (Sundaram,
2006). Music, theater and the film industry has also been broadly influenced by the increased
globalization.
Music has been a center stone of the sub continental background. It has been traditionaly been
based on the simple melodies and is regarded as one of the most well developed systems of the
classical world. The classical beats of the conventional music provide the true cultural and the
traditional taste to the sub continental music. Later in the 13th Centruy the sub continental music
remained under the influence of the Islamic presence. There is a faction who believes that the
classic sub continental traditional music dates back to Amir Khusro, one of the singers in the
Mughal Empire. The remarkable poetry by some famous poets brought the traditional music to
new hieghts. However the first influence of the sub continental music of such kind was widely
evident in the 1960 s when it found its way in the form of some extra ordinary play of the sitar (a
voiln type instrument) by Ravi Shankar on the famous Beatles album, Sgt. Pepper s Lonely Hearts
Club Band. The sub continental music made its way into the west with the well known players
such as Ravi Shankar and Ali Akbar Khan. This was the first time

Analysis Of Color And I Love Lucy
Color Lighting: How To Get Away With Murder I Love Lucy
How To Get Away With Murder, a modern 2015 law and murder television drama, and I Love
Lucy, a 1951 live audience comedic sitcom, hold many differences in regards to color and lighting
usage. However, if thoroughly analyzed similarities can be discovered.
In the season finale of How To Get Away With Murder, the director makes great use of colorby
means of transitional color, surrealism, color as a symbol, special effect colors, atmospheric
colors, comic colors and advancing colors. The director effectively uses color as a transition from
past to present. Dark green tinted scenes are used to signal a flashback to past. Soon thereafter,
normal realistic colors returned during present scene. Specific examples of this transition is
when the audience is flashed back to when Sam was murdered, when Annalise discovered his
infidelity and when she found his dead body inside their home. Realistic colors resumed after
these scenes. Moreover, surrealism is present in this episode, specifically when Annalise discovers
Sam s dead body dripping with blood on the wooden floor. The dark green atmospheric tints used
in this scene altered the blood s red to appear additionally nightmarish (Petrie Boggs, 2011, p. 204).
Also, the colors in this specific scene contribute to three dimensionality. The dark nature of this
scene and green filter that succumbs the past, almost makes Annalise blend into the night but her

The Goals of Sentencing in the Criminal Justice System
The Goals of Sentencing in the Criminal Justice System

Criminal Justice

Mr. Leonardo Cadogan
Abstract
In the United States there is no standard when it comes to punishment and sentencing. This area of
the criminal justice system is in a constant state of change. Sentencing practices and goals are
always being closely examined. From getting tough on crime to more rehabilitative approaches, the
views and goals of sentencing are always being corrected.
Since time began, there was crime and with crime came the need to punish criminals. How
criminals were punished and the methods behind the punishment changed throughout the times.

Those who give little credit to incapacitation could claim this to be mere coincidence, while those
who support it say the crime reducing effect of incapacitation takes time. Rehabilitation assumes
criminal behavior can be improved with non punitive methods. Rehabilitation, although non
punitive, usually occurs along side punishment. For instance an incarcerated person may be given
many rehabilitative options. Mental health programming, substance abuse counseling and even
education programming exist in modern day correctional facilities. A judge may sentencesomeone
to attend rehabilitative programming as a part of probation or it may be included as a stipulation in
a plea agreement. At the core of rehabilitation is the thought that a criminal is flawed, often through
no fault of their own. Poverty, mental health issues, or childhood trauma may all contribute to a
criminal life and rehabilitation attempts to aid in a sort of recovery. If a person is cured of their
issues, perhaps they will not fall back into their previous pattern. (Siegel Senna, 2005). Similar to
rehabilitation is the idea of restoration. While rehabilitation is through non punitive means,
restoration is the idea that punishment helps to promote a moral sense. This theory believes the
shame associated with punishment may cause a criminal to see the error of their ways. A very

Performance Based Strategy
Performance based pay strategy is a variable pay system which is intended to increase employee
productivity by rewarding employees based on their performance rather than paying based on the
time that an employee spends at work (Wisegeek). Due to the fact that performance based
employees have a vested interest in the success of the company their productivity is likely to
improve which can lead to the need for fewer employees to maintain production levels leading to a
reduction in labor costs to the employer. Studies have shown that time based employees only
produce 50 to 60 percent of the output of performance based employees (Atchinson).
Performance based pay plans are becoming increasingly utilized by companies across all
industries as they try to improve their productivity while limiting their costs and remaining
competitive. An effective performance based plan allows an employer to distribute some of the
financial risk and rewards of the business to the employees. The employer can keep base pay
compensation below the market average while still offering employees the opportunity to make
more money than what is offered at the high end of the market pay range. This leaves the employer
less vulnerable to fluctuations in the economic environment by lowering the fixed cost of wages
(Miller, 2011).
There are many ways to implement a performance based plan but all require that goals be set,

The European Union Promote Unity And Equality Amongst The...
The European Union aims to promote unity and equality amongst the fellow member states. In
order to provide this sense of concord the European Union allows free movement of citizens apart
of the union. The access to all members states solidifies a bond of the union but this free
movement also allows for negative issues to arise. Due to the free movement amongst the EU
many people are easily trafficked throughout the countries. The concept of this free movement is
great for the people, but also many people are suffering from a violation of their human rights. The
EU aims to continue to support free movement of their people, but they must focus on ways to
prevent human trafficking from occurring throughout the member states. Free movement of EU
citizens was a major priority to pursue with the start of this union. The idea of identifying a status
for individuals benefiting from the process of European integration and its correlative label of
citizen of the Community or of the Union goes back to the early 1970s (Condinanzi, Lang,
Nascimbene, 1). The Paris Summit was the initiation of the idea of unifying individuals to be
labeled as citizens of the Union. Later, in 1992 the idea was finally put into effect with the
Maastricht Treaty. This treaty help to progress the integration of Europeans and led to the formal
recognition of the notion of European citizenship. Obtaining citizenship in the EU is based on the
national standard of the member state you reside in. The

Theme Of Nobility In Julius Caesar

How could one determine whether a man is noble or not? How could one judge the extent of
someone s nobility? Throughout history, there are plenty of stories where the nobility of men have
been tested. William Shakespeare is known for writing stories where the nobility of men is heavily
tested. In Shakespeare s play, Julius Caesar, there are plenty of men who love Rome and would do
anything for the goodness of Rome. Caesar was willing to give up lots of his money for the
Roman citizens. Brutus killed his best friend because he felt that he was doing good for
Rome. But Antony is the noblest of them all because he avenges Caesar s death, he stays loyal to

However, as he is expressing his feelings to Antony, Antony states, Fear him not, Caesar; he s not
dangerous; He is a noble Roman, and well given (Shakespeare 9). Even though Cassius does turn
out to be behind the plot to assassinate Caesar, Antony views him as a noble man.
Antony sees when someone s intentions are good, even if they have a bad plan of action. Antony is
able to recognize nobility in men even if they have committed treacherous deeds.
Antony shows his nobility by avenging the death of Caesar, staying loyal to Caesar all the time,
and being able to recognize the nobility within a man, even if he is his enemy. Antony is able to
follow through and avenge Caesar s death by convincing the people of Rome that Brutus is not
all honorable and that Caesar did not deserve to die, which allows for the civil war to begin and
ultimately kills Brutus. Antony is loyal from the beginning of the play and after Caesar s death.
Antony will do anything for Caesar while he was alive and continues to take care of his name
after his death. Even though Brutus is Antony s enemy for killing Caesar, he still as the ability to

Volvo, Motorola, Ericsson, and Siemens have come to understand how dispersing authority of
decision making out to the field organization drives job satisfaction. (Schon, 2010, 99 118) Job
satisfaction drives productivity and process improvement. Process improvement cuts out waste.
Cutting out waste improves the bottom line. There is still a clear disconnect with the goals and
styles of the operations executive team in many organizations today. LSS deployments are bound to
struggle without support from all levels of management. A deployment champion has a duty to
make sure that projects align with high level goals in order to gain support from management.

the organization to greatness. The driven down approach is very management heavy and decision
are not made at the line level. Rather, decisions are dictated to the line level and

Who Is To Blame For The Death Of Romeo And Juliet Essay
Do you believe that true love will be together forever? Sometimes that is true, but other times it
is not a good thing. In the book Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet fall
in love but it would never work out because their families are mortal enemies. Both Romeo and
Juliet end up killing themselves for each other, and Romeo, Juliet, and Friar Lawrence are to
blame for the deaths of the young lovers and why each one holds a big responsibility to the
deaths. Romeo is the biggest reason for the death of the young lovers because he came on to
Juliet at the party. At the party for the Capulets, Romeo went over to Juliet and was trying to
seduce her by saying, If I profane with my unworthiest hand/This holy shrine, the gentle sin this
/My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand/To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss
(1.5.92 95). If Romeo did not try to come on to Juliet then she would of gone with Paris like her
father wanted her to and Juliet would not of had to go behind everyone s back and marry Romeo.
Clearly, If Romeo did not come on to Juliet then none of this would of happened, so that is why
Romeo is the most responsible for his and Juliet s death.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Banning of Texts Such as Adventures of Huckleberry...
There are many people, groups, or organizations that crave power and will do whatever it takes to
get it. Some of these consist of governments, religious leaders, and other authoritative figures. They
will go to great lengths of censoring and even banning things that will threaten their power. These
things are banned or challenged due to the fact that these figures do not approve of their content.
One of the most common things banned and or challenged is that of written text. One such text is,

If the story had not had such language it would have been allowed and challenged less. Also it
could have become a major success. Libraries banning Adventures of Huckleberry Finn often used
the reasoning that it is not suitable for their higher class of living. They believe that the story is
about a lower class of people that they shall not associate with. This is often a flaw in the human
mind. The believing that one is greater than another and because one is greater, they should not

suitable for their people. The judgmental decision process is that of an unjust unfair process. All
things should be taken deep into thought before making a decision like this. Slang offended many
people in the communities and was a leading factor to the book being challenged and banned. They

Differences Between Gaap And Ifrs
Introduction
There are two distinct methods of accounting for finances in the business world. These two methods
are the methods both prescribed by the U.S., which is known as the generally accepted accounting
principles (GAAP), and that which is used by the international community known as international
financial reporting standards (IFRS). GAAP is regulated by the financial accounting standards board
(FASB) while IFRS is regulated by the international accounting standards board (IASB). These two
methods are currently under a process which is known as convergence or harmonization so that the
United States will eventually become integrated into the global community (Miller, S. E. 2009).
This will cause financial statements to be more usable for more people across the globe as well as
enhance citizens of the U.S. s ability to perform business more efficiently internationally.
Principles Versus Rules Based Methods
There are many challenges and hurdles to overcome in order to achieve harmonization between
GAAP and IFRS. The differences are widespread. Most importantly and fundamentally GAAP is
considered to be more rules based, while principalities are largely what guide the users of IFRS.
GAAP Regulations are more detailed, specific and voluminous. Conversely, IFRS regulations are
less voluminous and make allowance for more exceptions. As an example IFRS allows the
reversal of a write down after the fact while GAAP that when a write down is taken then it is
irreversible.

The dictionary tells us that feminist are women fighting for political, social, and personal equality.
The dictionary however, is not always correct because anyone in society, whether young or old,
man or woman, can be a feminist. What makes a person an active feminist, a passive feminist or if
they are solely against feminism? Many people have passively agreed with feminist ideals without
realizing they are doing so. I can say I am a passive feminist because I disagree with construction

Anthony and Disney I placed Anthony as an active feminist and Disney as a passive feminist.
When I look at America today, I would place a majority of men and woman under the passive
feminist category. I feel a majority of people fall into those ideals because there are small
arguments regarding feminist issues, but no action is taken on a broader scale to promote
change. When I think of a feminist I think of someone such as Susan B. Anthony, who did
something regarding women s rights and made a positive change within society. In today s
society, technology regulates much of our daily life and technology is where people go to voice
their opinions about feminist ideals. Often times, celebrities will tweet about how woman can
stand alone from men and how woman should not be sent home for what they wear because it
could distract a male classmate. Those tweets circulate for a while but are soon forgotten. Those
celebrities who type those messages are not an active feminist, they are simply an American
utilizing their right of freedom of press under the First Amendment. Anyone can be a feminist, but
to be a feminist he or she needs to do more than tweet to create change. Circulating the idea is a
minimal step, one needs to advocate the issue on a more public level to create change for woman
and therefore be considered an active feminist. Some celebrities often argue for woman having
more equality with men and their ideals follow feminist s ideals, but they deny ever associating
themselves with the word. These people feel that if they say they are a feminist than, they are
saying that woman are better and more superior then men. These celebrities are acting as passive
feminist who are voicing their opinions about subjects related to the matter but doing nothing more
to create change. In another sense some celebrities are active feminist and want to promote change
but will still deny associating themselves with the name. People feel that if they

Reproductive Rights And Human Rights
Reproductive Rights Are Human Rights In 1973, the US Supreme Court declared abortion a
nationwide fundamental right through a trial called Roe vs. Wade and protected this right
underneath the Fourteenth Amendment, more specifically, the right to privacy. A basic human
right, especially one outlined by the Supreme Court, must never run at risk or threat chiefly because
not everyone agrees with it. Under no circumstances should a pregnancy ever adjudge mandatory.
Abortionis a Constitutional right and as a nation we must fight to give the right and freedom of safe
abortions to women all around the nation, make birth control and sex education accessible to
women, and raise awareness about the topic itself. (LawCornell)
In the United States, per year, twenty million unsafe abortions and sixty eight thousand deaths
from them occur, (Odyssey) while the average death risk for a safe abortion is less than .01
percent. An illegal and unsafe abortion should never result as the last resort, but it tends to
because of a lack of access to safe ones. Morals, usually drawn from religious beliefs, tend to play
a part in one s opinion towards abortion. More than three fourths of Americans consider
themselves as Christians. This means that more than three fourths of Americans believe that it is
morally wrong to undergo an abortion and a person should not hold the right to take someone else
s life away. While a moral belief, based on religion, is something all people are free to have,

Insurance Is A Policy, Your Parents, And Insurance
We have all heard of insurance at least once in our lifetime. From the advertisements, the marketing
companies, your parents, etc. Insurance is a policy, where for the premium paid, the insurance
company agrees to protect you within stated amounts, from the potential losses listed in the policy.
In other words, the insurancecompany is agreeing to protect you from certain events that can
happen, listed in the policy. Did you know there are tons of different types of insurance out there?
There s insurance for everything! Well... not everything, but most. There is Flood, Crime, Travel,
even Dog Bite Insurance.
Although there are many types of insurance, there are some that are a necessity for almost
everyone. You have Homeowners Insurance or... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It protects your home and everything in it from a fire, theft, or any other type of catastrophe that
could arise.
Have you ever had any problems with your car, or got in an accident? Well, that s where Auto
Insurance comes in. Auto Insurance covers the damage as a result of injury, death, vehicle, and
property. This type of insurance isn t required, but is highly suggested if you have a car. It would
be terrible to find that your car was stolen in the middle of the night, and you don t have car
insurance to help you pay for the repercussion.
Health Insurance is a necessity for anyone living in America. It protects you from paying the
entire costs of medical services. Depending on your plan s benefits, you may even be able to
visit the doctor, without paying a co pay. It all boils down to what kind of plan you have. There
are four basic types of health insurance. Fee For Service Plans, High Deductible Health Plans,
HMOs, and PPOs. Each plan has their own advantages and disadvantages. And last but not least,
Life Insurance. Life Insurance provides you and your family with financial coverage upon death.
When you die, Life Insurance will give money to your family to help pay for the funeral service,
and burial arrangements. Although it is a sensitive subject for many, everyone needs it.
To generalize the subject at matter...
Although all of these insurances are greatly advised, there are

Feudal Oath
Law and oaths were the basis of feudalism, without them the system would be a chaotic mess.
The laws that governed serfs very strict and limited their freedom greatly, giving them almost no
control of their life. Serfs were at the bottom of the feudal system, a serf was someone who was
bound to the land he or she worked on. They had almost no control over their lives, they could not
leave their land, they provided service to their lords and nobles, served in their lords house, and paid
taxes to their lord (Richardson 2). The only reason why they did this was for protection and a
home in the manor. The reason why these peasants wanted shelter so badly was because
diseases were everywhere and manors were few and widespread, it could take days of travel to
get from one manor to the next and even then a peasant would be forced to stay in that manor.
After a vassal made his feudal oath he was given a fief from his lord, it had land and peasants for
him to watch over. The core of the feudal oath was a vassal, who was usually a knight, giving
loyalty to his lord in return for a fief, this fief often included land, and maybe armour and weapons,
or even a horse. By... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Knights were also important to the structure of feudalism because they protected peasants, they did
this in return for a share of what the peasants produced. Feudalism was a system based on loyalty
where the serfs worked hard and the nobles protected them, this system was used to govern all
people in the Middle Ages. A knight was a member of a medieval army who wore armor and used
crude but effective tactics to win battles, they charged at the enemy with swords and shields to take
out enemy soldiers. Without these charming warriors the feudal system would have crumpled

To Kill A Mockingbird Urban Legends
Urban Legends
Legend says that if someone says the name Bloody Mary three times into a mirror, that she will
magically appear in the room and scratch their face off. Of course this legend is not true, but
people would tell this story and through fear, make others believe that it was. Urban legends
such as Bloody Mary date all the back to the 1930 s, around the same time where the book To Kill
A Mockingbird by Harper Lee was set. In the book, the people of Maycomb, Alabama use Boo
Radley, a character in the book who was sentenced to house arrest, as an urban legend. They spread
rumors about him and say many crazy things that people would not normally believe. However,
since the people are so scared of Boo Radley, they do. From the 1930 s ... Show more content on

In today s society, whenever there is something that people do not understand, they create an urban
legend to try and explain it, such as aliens or the Illuminati. Nobody knows if these legends are
true or not but most people believe it because it gives people a sense of fulfillment to have an
explanation for everything. In To Kill A Mockingbird however, everything that could not be
explained was pinned on Boo Radley. The adults in Maycomb County refused to talk about Boo
Radley so the children made up rumors about him. They would say that Boo was about six and a
half feet tall, judging from his tracks; he dined on raw squirrels and any cats he could catch, that
s why his hands were bloodstained (Lee 13). The kids became fixated on Boo Radley, mainly
because the adults never spoke about him, so they created all of these rumors about him and
whenever anything crazy happened, it always was somehow connected back to him. At the end of
the book when Scout meets Boo Radley in person, she finds out that none of the rumors she heard
about him were actually true and eventually tells Atticus that Boo was really nice. Atticus replies by
telling her that most people are, Scout, when you finally see them (Lee 376). Even though people
use urban legends to explain things, that does not mean that the legends are necessarily true. If
people actually searched for the truth behind these legends instead of falling back on

Changes That Affect the Economic Environment in Business
Introduction
For this task I shall explain the changes in the economic environment on the business. This may
include changes within the following,
Business cycle
Inflation
Unemployment
International trade
The business that that I will be looking at is Whitbread who own Premier Inn and Costa coffee. I
will be explaining within this task how the above may affect Whitbread and its two companies
Costa and Premier inn whether it is for the better or worse.
Business cycle
When looking at a graph of a business cycle we can expect to see increases and falls in production,
income and expenditure of a company over time. The economy of the U.K, moves from boom to
recession over time and these changes within the economy have major ... Show more content on

This will also affect trade as If the UK has higher inflation than competitor countries (which it isn
t now, but it has been for a lot of the last few decades) then UK prices gradually rise above
imported prices. More imports are bought, so demand leaks out of the country and leaves UK
businesses in a weak position such as Premier inn and Costa Coffee so overall inflation is not a
good thing if it does occur and will have a negative effect on Whitbread s businesses.
Unemployment
High unemployment rates especially within the countries that Whitbread operate their businesses,
Costs and Premier inn can have a great effect on business operations as high unemployment will
mean that more people will be relying on benefits for survival and as a result will be spending
less, this would in turn affect businesses such as Premier inn and costa coffee as no one will be
using their products and services which will then effect profits which would mean that they would
have to halt growth and cut staff which are all negative factors as a result. This means when
Whitbread are planning on expanding within different countries they will carefully have to look at
these factors. Since consumers have lower confidence in the strength of the economy and less to
spend, demand for products and services drops, and

The Picture Of Dorian Gray And Atlas Shrugged By Ayn Rand
It is a very well known trope of literature to pin characters against society or social expectations.
Nearly every piece of literature has some character who is displeased with how everybody else
does something, it does not make any difference what the thing is. Following this near necessary
pattern, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wildeand Atlas Shruggedby Ayn Randhave vital
characters who act differently than society hopes and expects. In The Picture of Dorian Gray,
Dorian Gray and Lord Henry Wotton are the main characters who represent the struggle of the
individual versus society, each in their own way. Lord Henry s philosophy is very self centered,
with his own pleasures being central to all aspects of his life. This belief system rubs off on
Dorian early in the novel and as it progresses, Dorian seems to care less and less about how
society perceives him. He hides his true self away from society and throws common practice,
even laws, out the window. Dorian becomes a being who lives only to please himself through
whatever means. Atlas Shrugged has some self centered characters of its own, stemming from
Ayn Rand s philosophy of objectivism and her belief that self preservation and self interest are
the truest goals in life. Dagny Taggart and Hank Rearden represent this belief Rand holds so
dear. On the other hand, Jim Taggart is shown as weak and nearly pathetic due to his need to
please everyone and fear of blame. He conforms to society so as to avoid conflict

Women who met the inclusion criteria and referred to two hospitals in North East of Iran were
selected using purposive convenience sampling method. Data were collected using a demographic
and obstetric questionnaire and 168 items food frequency questionnaire, and were analyzed using
SPSS22, applying Mann Whitney, t test and chi square.
Results: This study showed that dietary habits of women with preterm labor is more unfavorable
compared to women with term labor (P=0.023). Generally, dietary habit of more than half of the
women with preterm labor, in this study, was assessed unfavorable. In terms of different food
groups, daily intake of vegetables was significantly lower in women with preterm labor (P=0.02).
Consumption of dairy products was also lower in women with preterm labor than women with term
labor which was significant (P=0.05).
Conclusion: To prevent adverse outcomes of preterm delivery more attention regarding nutritional
planning for pregnant women seems to be essential.
Keywords: Dietary habit, Preterm delivery, Pregnancy.
Introduction
Despite the advances in prenatal care and improving health indicators, yet 5 10% of all
pregnancies are terminated as preterm, and prematurity is still the leading cause of neonatal
mortality in developed and developing countries (1, 2). Preterm infant is defined as the infant who
is born before 37 completed weeks of pregnancy (3).

In this case study, the intangible factors include Kelly s cultural propensity towards emphasising
her entitlement to use her accumulated sick leave while Mr. Higashi s cultural propensity towards
respect for his employer and expectation of his subordinates means that he believes the ALT s
should utilise their paid leave entitlements first.
It is initially hard to distinguish which of these tangible or intangible factors are more important.
Based on the cultural dimensions and values identified further in the report, it is clear that each
has its own importance and merit. Understanding the cultural norms and expectations at play in the
case study are critical to resolving the conflict at hand. Whilst Kelly believed she had adequate
prior knowledge of the Japanese culture, it is clear that she is not as well versed as she thinks.
Mr. Higashi has a responsibility to his employees (which include the Japanese workers) to ensure
that equality prevails in the workplace and the hierarchical, masculine structure is preserved. As
detailed in section 3, Japanese culture is about hard work, loyalty, and honour. If Kelly were to
take her concerns directly to CLAIR without first attempting to resolve them with Mr. Higashi, she
may inadvertently bring shame to Mr. Higashi and cause him to lose face (Lewicki, 2011).
Although Kelly has tangible considerations at play, the intangible factors associated with Mr.

Comparing Dystopia In The Hunger Games And The Giver
Dystopia is an imagined place or state in which everything is unpleasant or bad, typically a
totalitarian or environmentally degraded one. There are a lot of
2movies and novels that involve Dystopia places. The Hunger Games and The Giver are two
examples that show dystopian in there novels. While both novels are science fiction, the Hunger
Games show more action and visor than The Giver s perfect utopian. Utopian means that an
imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect. The Giver presents us with a world
where war, poverty, crime, suffering, and bigotry have been completely eliminated. In this utopian
Community, people strive to maintain Sameness where everyone and everything is equal and same.

Giving Jonas more information than he had ever known before. It appears to be utopian, but it
is 100% dystopian. The people seem perfectly content to live in an isolated wreck in a
government run by a select few in which a group of Elders enforces the rules. In Jonas
community, there is no poverty, starvation, unemployment, lack of housing, or discrimination;
everything is perfectly planned to eliminate any problems. However, as the book progresses and
Jonas gains insight into what the people have willingly given up their freedoms and
individualities for the so called common good of the community, it becomes more and more
obvious that the community is a horrible place in which to live. Two children one male, one
female to each family unit. It was written very clearly in the rules. With this quote, it is saying
that the community in The Giver have rules and order about certain things. The people in the
community are controlled so that there is no problem. Everything is conform, no one is allowed
to know their own identity, and everyone s loves are pre programmed and ran by the Committee
of The Elders. No one had emotions, feelings, or memories. They don t see color and the weather

Comparing Plato s Republic, More s Utopia, and Gurney s...
Plato s Republic, More s Utopia, and Gurney s Dinotopia
Throughout history, mankind has struggled to lead better lives and improve their society for future
generations. What do we continuously attempt to improve? What kind of changes are we trying to
institute? In other words, what is an ideal society? Many people have very diversified views about a
perfect civilization. In Plato s Republic, Sir Thomas More s Utopia, and James Gurney s Dinotopia,
three imaginary societies are described, each with its own peculiarities and highlights. Various
aspects of the nations described in these three novels, including their respective economies,
governments, and social structures, will be compared and contrasted.
A crucial aspect ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It also applies the use of funds within the country, similar to many other nations in the world today.
Now, we will proceed to the most important part of any human institution the government. In
Utopia, the political hierarchy is based on the household: every city has 6000 households, each
containing ten to sixteen adults. For every thirty households, one Styward, or District Counselor,
is elected. One Bencheater, or Senior District Counselor, is elected for every ten Stywards. Every
town has one mayor, who is elected by secret ballot by the Stywards. Every three days the
Bencheaters have a meeting with the mayor to discuss public affairs and, rarely, to settle disputes.
There are rules concerning the debate of propositions. For example, no resolution can be debated
on the day that it s first proposed... Otherwise someone s liable to say the first thing that comes into
his head, and then start thinking up arguments to justify what he has said, instead of trying to
decide what s best for the community (More 74).
The Dinotopian government resembles The Republic in that there is one main leader. The mayor of
Waterfall City, which is a hereditary position, wields supreme authority over the entire island. In
addition, a senate acts to pass laws and settle disputes, similar to the Stywards and Bencheaters in
Utopia.

How The Body Works Is Incredibly Complex
The way our body works is incredibly complex, but a wonderful thing that we are given. Without
everything working it would be hard to do simple tasks. When certain things do shut down or stop
working properly it can ruin a life. The littlest of organs can have an enormous effect on the body
which it did on me. The thyroida small organ on the front of your neck gave me some serious
problems for about 2 years. From little things like sleep, appetite, and headaches it quickly
scaled to many more major things like heart palpations and severe dehydration. It may seem like
something very useless in the body, but I will never forget what it caused, and how hard it was to
overcome it. That little organ did way more than it probably knew it could do which was giving
me a completely different outlook of life itself.
How could one simple thing do that to my entire body. I would ask later on when I finally
figured out who the culprit of my sickness was. That thyroid caused many problems around the
ages of 14 16. The first sign of this takes me back all the way to eighth grade where I was just
incredibly tired. I felt absolutely horrible physically I couldn t get out of bed, and it was hard to
do some simple tasks like walking. I would be out of school for two days when my mother who
thought it was the flu that was affecting eventually made an appointment for the doctor to get
whatever was causing me to be this sick figured out, so I could be back to shape. My mother and I

is a dynamic journey towards recovery, and (e) schizophrenia is a developmental process of
recovery. This study also revealed that patients felt stigmatized and humiliated due to negative
attitudes from society (38). Ertugrul and Ulug (37) indicated that severity of symptoms is linked to
perception of stigma, meaning that patients with more severe symptoms perceived more stigma
than patients with less symptoms. Yildiz and colleagues (39) recruited 167 individuals with
schizophrenia, 45 relatives of individuals with schizophrenia, and 86 individuals with major
depressive disorder to examine self stigma among individuals with schizophrenia, their relatives and
individuals with major depressive disorder. Individuals with schizophrenia were found to have
higher level of self stigma than those with major depressive disorder (39). Yilmaz and Okanli (40)

  • 3. Analysis Of The Play A Midsummer Night Dream This is the first section where I m going to discuss the overview of this play. The message in the play Chicago was society always want to seek happiness through seeking people s approval, but this will conclude into the exact opposite, and this was portrayed through the life of Roxie Hart. I saw the play Chicago on May 4, 2017 at 8 p.m. I was seated center row A seat 106. The cost of the ticket was approximately $11 since I purchased it in a package with the play A Midsummer Night Dream which costed me $22 for the set. There were way more people in the audience than the A Midsummer Night Dream play since the theater was way bigger. The audience were very into the play as when every time a scene or a song ends, the audience show their... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In my opinion, this is definitely a musical play. All the characters dialogues were through singing. The characters were basically singing their messages across, and it works. In my opinion, they spoke in a sort of high pitched voice. They spoke with very high confidence, and I haven t really noticed a flaw or mess up during the play. No actors in the play really stuttered, and it seem like they spoke/sang their lines perfectly. This is the third section where I m going to discuss the director and the performers. In my opinion, all the performers did great from the main casts to the extras to the background people playing music. I felt like Gabrielle Rochblatt, the person that played Roxie Hart did a great job with singing and acting. There is a reason why Gabrielle was given the task to play Roxie Hart which is the main character and basically had the most line out of any characters. Gabrielle had this charisma when she say her lines or sing. Her character, Roxie Hart will do something that can make her seem like a villain, but for some reason, it s hard to dislike her. Yes, it can be because she is also a protagonistcharacter, but I feel part of it has to do with Gabrielle charismatic performance on stage. Her looks also fit her role as well. The producers were very smart when choosing her for this role. Gabrielle had the total package. A lot of times, many people are capable of acting, but it ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Bus Transit And Mass Transit 1 INTRODUCTION 1.1General In urban areas due to expansion of cities and population growth the major problems which arise are more travel time and more travel cost. For Developing countries like India, China, Brazil etc. taking affordability and mobility into account the policy makers induced public transport system for movements like inter urban or intra urban. Various examples are BusTransit Mass Transit. Due to bigger city size and fixed routes of these systems its accessibility varies for different user. These predefined fixed routes do not take into account the whole catchment area from where the users are using. Among these users there are some users which use daily bases are known as commuters. Such commuters access/egress the transit system by a variety of modes such as by walking, bicycle, manual tricycle, motorized 2 3 wheeler, feeder bus services and cars. Each mode has its utility within certain distance range (Khistey and Sriraj 1996) . Increase in city size has reflected in the utility of various modes, utility of motorized vehicles have increased whereas the utility of non motorized have decreased. From socio economic point, these include loss of employment, slow elimination of environment friendly modes like bicycles, manual tricycles and walk and increase in population levels. The mode choice for access and egress varies for various users but for policy makers it is very important to identify the factors which are influencing these mode ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Conflicts Within A Group And How A Manager Can Bring Up... Conflicts can happen in everyday life with people and in organizations. Conflicts need to be handled so that the situation does not escalate further. Most people look at conflicts as a bad situation, but not all conflicts are bad, some are good, especially when discussing an idea within a group. In an organization there are times when a conflictmay need to happen for an issue to be resolved, but when this happens the people involved need to look at if this conflict is really necessary to resolve the issue. How to address conflicts in a group and how a manager can bring up the conflict without making them worse is what will be discussed next. At many jobs there are projects given that have to be completed in groups and they re more than likely is going to be people within the group that do not necessarily agree on how the project should be completed. This can cause a conflict to arise and to resolve this conflict requires all members of the group to have a say in the resolution. To ensure sufficient discussion of contentious issues in a work group, I would have one person be in charge of the group. This person would make sure that everyone had a turn to give their input and I would make it known to all the group members that what is said cannot be held against the person who says it. When managers need to bring up unspoken conflicts into the open without making them worse, it may be best to have a third party present that can ensure that the issue is addressed ... • 6. Motifs In The Film s Music The film s music was written by James Newton Howard, who is also known for his work in Batman Begins (2005), Pretty Woman (1990) and King Kong (2005), is known for extensive use of multiple chord progressions, false cadences, and changes in key.The film has three main groups of musical motifs. One is the slow, soft Appalachian sound with folk type musicusing fiddle, banjo and vocals for the main character Katniss in District 12 (coal mining area) which gives the idea of the culture; a simple life with little music. The second is the bold, marching drums and brass sounds from the Capitol of Panem, used in parades which gives the impression of strength and unity. Low ominous sounds are mixed into the Capital music to give the feelingof evil and... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As they get on the chariots ( Preparing the Chariots ; track 6 of The Hunger Games Score) the music begins to build using strings and starts introducing the Panem theme with a march feel from bass and percussion. When they ride into the Capital ( Horn of Plenty ; track 7 of The Hunger Games Score), the Panem theme comes at you in full force. With cymbal crashes, drums and bold brass, the march begins giving the impression of power and grandeur. As Katniss and Peeta emerge from the tunnel with the costumes on fire, the music intensifies as together they hold up their hands together as a symbol of unity. The Capital motif continues in the background as Katniss and Peeta begin training for the arena ( Penthouse/Training and Learning the Skills ; track 8 and 9 of The Hunger Games Score). The same middle eastern theme with a madeline is heard again giving the impression of a foreign, unfamiliar environment. This leads into low, uncertain feel from adagiostrings in a minor key. As more people are showing their skills, the music begins to intensify and the drums/percussion begin march type of music to demonstrate the military feel of the environment. The final group of motifsbegins when everyone has trained and are put into the arena. • 7. Essay A. Marcello Oboe Concerto in D Minor Charles Pridgen CONS 422a From the journal of Antonio Vivaldi December 12, 1717 As noted in a previous journal entry, I had made a trip to CГ¶then where the great composer, Johann Sebastian Bach, is under the service of Prince Leopold. There I heard a recent keyboard transcription of Bach s. The transcription was of a piece called Concerto in D minor for Oboe, Strings and Basso Continuo. Bach listed the composer as the well known Venetian composer Benedetto Marcello. As I listened to the piece, I was captured by the simple yet eloquent melodies that were presented but I also was curious as I had not known of Benedetto to write for oboe. I also know that Marcello stated, Oboes, flutes, trumpets, bassoons, etc., will always be out of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There are three Marcello brothers, Alessandro, Benedetto and Girolamo, who were born of nobility here in Venice. Benedetto is well known for his music. Alessandro composes also but his interests actually lie more with philosophy, mathematics, history, chemistry, painting and poetry. Alessandro has a small body of work in music. This is probably due to him being much more of a figure head in the Venetian government since his father passed away in 1707. Benedetto has a much larger body of work composing of many instrumental and sacred vocal pieces. I recalled that considering the academic pursuits of the Marcellos, that it was possible that they were members of the Arcadian colony. The Arcadians were a new movement of intellectuals that emphasized the respect of artistic achievement and a return to the Greek ideals that music and poetry worked together. They also wished to avoid lavish displays and encouraged simplicity. The Arcadians would also use pseudonyms and I discovered that the pseudonym of Eterio Stinfalico belonged to Alessandro Marcello. Now that I learned who the true author was, I went to seek out Alessandro. It is typical of nobles such as the Marcello to conduct concerts in their home. I went to the Palazzo Marcello and discovered a concert was being performed that had the concerto on its program. The oboist was unknown to me. The audience contained mostly nobles and government ... • 8. Blanche Dubois Body Image Blanche Blanche would portray the image of a middle aged blonde that has blue eyes and an outgoing personality. She would have visible signs of aging on her face as well as other obvious indicators that her prime years took place in the past. She would not admit it, but she has many problems with body image and looking attractive to the opposite sex which she tries to disguise by resembling an outgoing person. Other physical attributes would include long slender legs that she makes sure appear visible as often as possible. She would make herself high maintenance and sassy as if she belonged or at least deserved to belong anywhere she felt fit. These descriptors /adjectives lead me to see her played by Cameron Diaz. Cameron Diaz took this spot... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He has a defined physique and facial structure that allows him to come across as having an intimidation factor. This intimidation factor plays into the beating of his wife Stella and her unwillingness to do anything about it because she acts too intimidated by his rage and eruptions in emotion. It also ends up clear that Stanley s masculine and toned appearance comes off as so attractive to Stella that she develops a naivety to his controlling and abusive behavior and looks past it in return for sexual favors. Stanley s combined traits that include muscularity, masculinity, aggressiveness, and blondeness led me to choosing Dolph Lundgren as the actor who would play Stanley. Dolph Lundgren plays the antagonist Ivan Drago in the fourth Rocky movie versus Russia. He portrays an aggressive Russian (close to Polish) who has an aggressive attitude with no intention of backing down at anything unless he feels like backing down. This relates to Stanley for the obvious reasons of aggression but also in the fact that Stanley never backed down from trying to get Blanche to leave his home and his wife alone. The costume that Stanley would wear would resemble a wife beater and jeans most of the time, at least at home. This outfit fits his non traditional personality as well as his rough/manly military ... Essay on Gimpel the Fool Gimpel the Fool An Explication of Singer s Gimpel the Fool The story Gimpel the Fool is written in first person point of view; and the narrator, Gimpel, is the main character in the story. In the opening paragraph in the story Singer shows how reliable of a narrator that Gimpel is. Gimpel shares many of the nicknames he has had given to him in school, including imbecile, donkey, flax head, dope, glump, ninny, and fool. He then says that he was considered a fool because he was easily taken in. He gave an example of one of the situations that earned him that title. If I slapped someone he d see all the way to Cracow. But I m really not a slugger by nature. I think to myself, Let it pass. So they take advantage of me. These are not words of a fool, but they are words of a very trusting and reliable character. Gimpel is made to be a protagonist character in the opening paragraph. Singer kind of makes you feel sorry for him with the stories of the other kids being mean to him in school. That combined with his rigorous honesty, you find yourself sympathizing for Gimpel. Singer makes Gimpel out to be an innocent soul that is taken advantage of for the other children s amusement and entertainment. By doing this Singer makes the other children antagonist characters. In a way the children are lumped together to be one character; kind of like Gimpel s nemesis. Singer uses a couple of different ways to create the character Gimpel. First of all he uses what other characters say about him and do to him. As we know the other kids at school say he is a fool, and take advantage of him for their own entertainment. I don t think that this was used make him into a foolish character. I think it was used to make Gimpel into a victim, a sympathetic character. It is this debate of being in a state of modernity or post modernity that will lead me to describe the shifts in cultural, economic and political views and values that demonstrates a shift in values from modern to post modern views sociy. This shift to post modernity has been highly influenced through the works of postmodern artists and architects and academics such as Focult (Venn, C., Featherstone, M. 2006), Burroughs, Barthelme, Rauschenberg and Cage (Clarke, S. 2006), who all describe modernity being an exhausted idea, due to the shift of values changing society to a period of post modernity. In this essay I will argue that we are now living in a new age of post modernity by describing and explaining the transition of modernity to post modernity by analysing the social dimensions that modernity has shifted from to postmodernity. I will also look at the main features of both modernity and postmodernity and explore their features to draw the conclusion that postmodernity is not a new era but a new social movement of different views and perspectives. It can release stress because of all the emotions that could not be held in anymore. This can be clearly portrayed in Anne Bradstreet s Here Follows Some Verses upon the Burning of Our House and Thomas Gray s Elegy Written in Country Churchyard. Both of the writers have feelings of depression. The writers bring up subtle comparisons between the poem and themselves. The arising themes remain constant through spirituality. In both of the stories, there is an identified preposition of melancholy, potential, and spirituality. To start off with the poem Here Follows Some Verses upon the Burning of Our House, Anne Bradstreet sets up the tone of sadness and says that she was awakened by a noise, a voice screaming fire and how heartbreaking it was to lose her home and possessions (Elegy 178). Bradstreet describes how her home looks after the incident. Her and her family have to start all over again. Bradstreet feels like everything has been taken away from her and will not be able to move on in line. She is having feelings of melancholy. Consequently, Bradstreet has an epiphany and says, Adieu, adieu, all s vanity (Elegy 179). This means that she is saying all her possessions are worthless. This is a turning point in Bradstreet s life that she was gifted with. She now sees how her ambition, potential, and hope can change her future life. She had been taking ... The oath wasn t a massive change in the feudal society, but it did have some effect on services. The feudal oath changed slightly. In feudal law, the members of society still had the same social classes. The oaths kept the feudal systems in tact. The oaths were helpful to members of society because they had said that each worker had to do his job in the medieval village and they usually used a sacred oath to God (Birney 85). Feudalism already existed in England at the time, but became stronger and stronger under each oath made. Changes in law were to be expected, like changes in taxing, military service and even a shift of power was made sometimes. The idea of feudalism had begun long before members of society realized (Birney 84). The Salisbury Oath was not necessarily a feudal oath. England practiced feudalism, so all tenants acknowledge a supreme member as their monarch. The members strived for a strong, feudal government, so William created an oath that was an expansion on feudalism (Birney 85). In feudal times, Oaths were the only source of agreement. Even the relationship between the feudal lord and the vassal was based on oaths. The Lord made an oath to protect the vassal s family if anything should happen, and the vassal made an oath to the lord that he would fight with all the effort possible (Conference Page 2). The many, oaths and agreements between kings and vassals was considered a reciprocal relationship. Oaths also kept the Military in tact, causing knights and vassals to dedicate their full service to the feudal lord. Without the oaths, the military would crumble, leading to a downfall of feudalism (Conference Page 2). The oaths and agreements were a severe part of feudalism, causing a stronger ... Darley and Bibb discovered that the probability of assistance is inversely related to the number of bystanders present. The more bystanders, the less likely a person will offer help to a victim in need. In one experiment, Latane and Judith Rodin staged a distress situation. 70 percent of people, who were alone, offered help to the woman in distress. However, only 40 percent of people offered help when there were more people present in a room ( Bystander Effect, n.d.). However, if thoroughly analyzed similarities can be discovered. In the season finale of How To Get Away With Murder, the director makes great use of colorby means of transitional color, surrealism, color as a symbol, special effect colors, atmospheric colors, comic colors and advancing colors. The director effectively uses color as a transition from past to present. Dark green tinted scenes are used to signal a flashback to past. Soon thereafter, normal realistic colors returned during present scene. Specific examples of this transition is when the audience is flashed back to when Sam was murdered, when Annalise discovered his infidelity and when she found his dead body inside their home. Realistic colors resumed after these scenes. Moreover, surrealism is present in this episode, specifically when Annalise discovers Sam s dead body dripping with blood on the wooden floor. The dark green atmospheric tints used in this scene altered the blood s red to appear additionally nightmarish (Petrie Boggs, 2011, p. 204). A deployment champion has a duty to make sure that projects align with high level goals in order to gain support from management. • 31. Who Is To Blame For The Death Of Romeo And Juliet Essay Do you believe that true love will be together forever? Sometimes that is true, but other times it is not a good thing. In the book Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet fall in love but it would never work out because their families are mortal enemies. Both Romeo and Juliet end up killing themselves for each other, and Romeo, Juliet, and Friar Lawrence are to blame for the deaths of the young lovers and why each one holds a big responsibility to the deaths. Romeo is the biggest reason for the death of the young lovers because he came on to Juliet at the party. At the party for the Capulets, Romeo went over to Juliet and was trying to seduce her by saying, If I profane with my unworthiest hand/This holy shrine, the gentle sin this /My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand/To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss (1.5.92 95). If Romeo did not try to come on to Juliet then she would of gone with Paris like her father wanted her to and Juliet would not of had to go behind everyone s back and marry Romeo. • 34. Differences Between Gaap And Ifrs Introduction There are two distinct methods of accounting for finances in the business world. These two methods are the methods both prescribed by the U.S., which is known as the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and that which is used by the international community known as international financial reporting standards (IFRS). GAAP is regulated by the financial accounting standards board (FASB) while IFRS is regulated by the international accounting standards board (IASB). These two methods are currently under a process which is known as convergence or harmonization so that the United States will eventually become integrated into the global community (Miller, S. E. 2009). This will cause financial statements to be more usable for more people across the globe as well as enhance citizens of the U.S. s ability to perform business more efficiently internationally. Principles Versus Rules Based Methods There are many challenges and hurdles to overcome in order to achieve harmonization between GAAP and IFRS. The differences are widespread. Most importantly and fundamentally GAAP is considered to be more rules based, while principalities are largely what guide the users of IFRS. GAAP Regulations are more detailed, specific and voluminous. Conversely, IFRS regulations are less voluminous and make allowance for more exceptions. As an example IFRS allows the reversal of a write down after the fact while GAAP that when a write down is taken then it is irreversible. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

When I think of a feminist I think of someone such as Susan B. Anthony, who did something regarding women s rights and made a positive change within society. In today s society, technology regulates much of our daily life and technology is where people go to voice their opinions about feminist ideals. Often times, celebrities will tweet about how woman can stand alone from men and how woman should not be sent home for what they wear because it could distract a male classmate. Those tweets circulate for a while but are soon forgotten. Those celebrities who type those messages are not an active feminist, they are simply an American utilizing their right of freedom of press under the First Amendment. Anyone can be a feminist, but to be a feminist he or she needs to do more than tweet to create change. Circulating the idea is a minimal step, one needs to advocate the issue on a more public level to create change for woman and therefore be considered an active feminist. Some celebrities often argue for woman having more equality with men and their ideals follow feminist s ideals, but they deny ever associating themselves with the word. These people feel that if they say they are a feminist than, they are saying that woman are better and more superior then men. • 38. Reproductive Rights And Human Rights Reproductive Rights Are Human Rights In 1973, the US Supreme Court declared abortion a nationwide fundamental right through a trial called Roe vs. Wade and protected this right underneath the Fourteenth Amendment, more specifically, the right to privacy. A basic human right, especially one outlined by the Supreme Court, must never run at risk or threat chiefly because not everyone agrees with it. Under no circumstances should a pregnancy ever adjudge mandatory. Abortionis a Constitutional right and as a nation we must fight to give the right and freedom of safe abortions to women all around the nation, make birth control and sex education accessible to women, and raise awareness about the topic itself. (LawCornell) In the United States, per year, twenty million unsafe abortions and sixty eight thousand deaths from them occur, (Odyssey) while the average death risk for a safe abortion is less than .01 percent. An illegal and unsafe abortion should never result as the last resort, but it tends to because of a lack of access to safe ones. Morals, usually drawn from religious beliefs, tend to play a part in one s opinion towards abortion. More than three fourths of Americans consider themselves as Christians. The laws that governed serfs very strict and limited their freedom greatly, giving them almost no control of their life. Serfs were at the bottom of the feudal system, a serf was someone who was bound to the land he or she worked on. They had almost no control over their lives, they could not leave their land, they provided service to their lords and nobles, served in their lords house, and paid taxes to their lord (Richardson 2). The only reason why they did this was for protection and a home in the manor. The reason why these peasants wanted shelter so badly was because diseases were everywhere and manors were few and widespread, it could take days of travel to get from one manor to the next and even then a peasant would be forced to stay in that manor. After a vassal made his feudal oath he was given a fief from his lord, it had land and peasants for him to watch over. Urban legends such as Bloody Mary date all the back to the 1930 s, around the same time where the book To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee was set. In the book, the people of Maycomb, Alabama use Boo Radley, a character in the book who was sentenced to house arrest, as an urban legend. Nobody knows if these legends are true or not but most people believe it because it gives people a sense of fulfillment to have an explanation for everything. In To Kill A Mockingbird however, everything that could not be explained was pinned on Boo Radley. The adults in Maycomb County refused to talk about Boo Radley so the children made up rumors about him. They would say that Boo was about six and a half feet tall, judging from his tracks; he dined on raw squirrels and any cats he could catch, that s why his hands were bloodstained (Lee 13). The kids became fixated on Boo Radley, mainly because the adults never spoke about him, so they created all of these rumors about him and whenever anything crazy happened, it always was somehow connected back to him. At the end of the book when Scout meets Boo Radley in person, she finds out that none of the rumors she heard about him were actually true and eventually tells Atticus that Boo was really nice. Nearly every piece of literature has some character who is displeased with how everybody else does something, it does not make any difference what the thing is. Following this near necessary pattern, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wildeand Atlas Shruggedby Ayn Randhave vital characters who act differently than society hopes and expects. In The Picture of Dorian Gray, Dorian Gray and Lord Henry Wotton are the main characters who represent the struggle of the individual versus society, each in their own way. Lord Henry s philosophy is very self centered, with his own pleasures being central to all aspects of his life. This belief system rubs off on Dorian early in the novel and as it progresses, Dorian seems to care less and less about how society perceives him. He hides his true self away from society and throws common practice, even laws, out the window. Dorian becomes a being who lives only to please himself through whatever means. Atlas Shrugged has some self centered characters of its own, stemming from Ayn Rand s philosophy of objectivism and her belief that self preservation and self interest are the truest goals in life. In Plato s Republic, Sir Thomas More s Utopia, and James Gurney s Dinotopia, three imaginary societies are described, each with its own peculiarities and highlights. Various aspects of the nations described in these three novels, including their respective economies, governments, and social structures, will be compared and contrasted. A crucial aspect ... Now, we will proceed to the most important part of any human institution the government. In Utopia, the political hierarchy is based on the household: every city has 6000 households, each containing ten to sixteen adults. For every thirty households, one Styward, or District Counselor, is elected. One Bencheater, or Senior District Counselor, is elected for every ten Stywards. Every town has one mayor, who is elected by secret ballot by the Stywards. Every three days the Bencheaters have a meeting with the mayor to discuss public affairs and, rarely, to settle disputes. When certain things do shut down or stop working properly it can ruin a life. The littlest of organs can have an enormous effect on the body which it did on me. The thyroida small organ on the front of your neck gave me some serious problems for about 2 years. I would ask later on when I finally figured out who the culprit of my sickness was. That thyroid caused many problems around the ages of 14 16. The first sign of this takes me back all the way to eighth grade where I was just incredibly tired. I felt absolutely horrible physically I couldn t get out of bed, and it was hard to do some simple tasks like walking. I would be out of school for two days when my mother who thought it was the flu that was affecting eventually made an appointment for the doctor to get whatever was causing me to be this sick figured out, so I could be back to shape. My mother and I went to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
