Genocide In Syria
Genocide in Syria, The Religion conflicts between Syrian and The regime of Assad
In eyes of the world, as well as a large part of the Arab world, Bashar al Assad is portrayed as a
ruthless dictator. Almost nobody seems to consider the motives of the Syrian president. What few
know is that Assad enjoys significant support from both his Alawite people and other minority
groups. The Alawites and other minorities have little choice; Syrian rebels and Islamist terror
groups could win the war or sign their death warrant. It would be launched large scale ethnic
cleansing and even genocide.
In 1936 the French decided to decolonize the area. Syria and Lebanon would continue as
independent states. Ironically, it is exactly where Suleiman al Assad looked

increasing the severity of the infection 10. Trichinella spiralis is a nematode parasite that is
usually transmitted to humans by eating undercooked meat from animals such as pigs. How does
Trichinella spiralis cause disease in humans? Why might ingesting this organism be more
dangerous than ingesting a beef tapeworm? a. Once the Trichinella spiralis is ingested it goes
through the body into the stomach, and encounters pepsin and gastric acid. Once this occurs larva
is released and travels into the small bowel mucosa where they mature into adult worms. The adult
worms then travel into the striated muscle an encyst into the body where they may live for years.
Compared to beef tapeworms Trichinella is far more dangerous, due to the potential that the larva
will migrate to the brain, this may cause very serious symptoms such as epilepsy or even death.

The Waiting Room By Kris.
The Waiting Room
By: Kris
It all started on a hot day in California, the golden sun blazing through the window of his
apartment. It was 5:30pm to be exact. Felix had invited his mother to dinner in celebration of being
accepted into a prestigious investigation program that would kick start his career in this field.
Felix was an 18 year old boy, but not your typical 18 year old. He wasn t like the other boys his
age. They would be playing sports like rugby and basketball. They were tall, towered over others
in lower grades, broad and muscular. Felix was the total opposite of them. He was short, pale as
an uncooked pancake, and didn t have much muscle. He had a circular face with a small button
nose in the middle. Above the nose were two narrow, brown eyes with full eyebrows above them.
In addition, Felix didn t play any sports, instead he preferred solving investigation cases and
puzzles. Unlike the other boys, Felix couldn t care less about his appearance rather, he was just
grateful that he was even alive. However, despite his wimpy attributes, he was mentally strong. He
had gone through many depressing situations like his mother and father s divorce.
Felix had dreamed of getting into the program since he was a kid. He was always fond of
investigation, always wearing his black suede jacket along with his brown top hat, not to forget
about his magnifying glass he always held in his petite hands. With his magnifying glass in hand,
Felix always looked at his mother s

Singing Research Paper
Singing
Music speaks what cannot be expressed soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and
makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul . Anonymous. Music can be a big part of people s
everyday life to calm down, to have fun, but do they really know the progress it takes to make
those songs, to sing them? There is a progress leading up to making the perfect song. Like the
voice pitch, the warm ups so the voice isn t scratchy, but is warmed up and ready for singing, and
the type of genre that the artist is singing. There are many different types of voice tones. Like,
Sopranos, Altos, Bass, Tenors, Soprano one, Soprano two, Mezzo Soprano, Contralto, Countertenor,
and Baritone. Are all different voice ranges for music. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Is it rap, pop, opera? Exactly we need to know, but how many genres are there? Well there s rap/hip
hop music, it isn t really sung more like saying something really fast with a cool beat. Pop is
written songs from the heart based on a tune of the artists choice with meaningful lyrics at times.
Opera is good when singing if a Soprano, Soprano one, or Soprano two. Because of how high the
voice is, but for when it s good for how low the voice is. Country music, well that s another story.
Country is like a mix of all types of voice ranges made into a good song about drinking and
heartbreak. Like Carrie Underwood is a country singer and her voice range is a Soprano. And as for
Luke Bryan he is also a country singer and he is a High Baritone. So as we can see everyone has a
different voice range, genre and they are all just good

Changes In Metropolitan Statistical Area
Census data from the last 2 Censuses reveal population migration patterns through changes in
Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSAs) populations. The data shows that certain metropolitan areas
are growing while others are declining. Many Southern cities and Western cities are rapidly rising
in population as economic industries settle and family friendly conditions allow innovation and
education to thrive. One strong example of this is the Raleigh Cary MSA, in North Carolina, which
has experienced rapid growth in recent decades from increased economic dominance in government
and education sector. New Orleans is an extreme exception for these regions, with the population
being greatly reduced because of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Cleveland and

Drafting Technology Research Paper
What is Drafting Technology exactly? The career field is such a broad description of so many
different sub fields in this area that could possibly be focused on. Drafting is an unofficial design
of an object or an idea, this can fluctuate as the project is coming along. After drafting you have
technology which can be a set of tools or a model of how something would generally function. With
that being said Drafting Technologyis exactly what is sounds like, the worker comes up with a
design or drawing of an object and then would show how that object would generally function on
an average day to day basis, so while everyone thinks that this is a career field that is meant for

This is a very important skill to have because when designing a blueprint for something the
employee could run into many difficulties that may not be the easiest thing to fix and that
employee would need to come up with a solution while also staying in the specific guidelines for
the project. So like I previously stated Drafting technology is a very broad description of a career
field that has many sub categories within it like: architectural, civil, electrical, and mechanical
drafting. Civil engineering is exactly what it sounds like this sub field focuses on the thing that
deal with the civil life for example they are the engineers that build bridges and buildings. Just
like civil engineers is self explanatory so is Electrical Engineering the engineers of the field
focus on everything that deals with electronics, this can range in difficulty from designing the
motherboard of a computer to designing a cell phone. The final sub field is Mechanical
Engineer, this group designs a variety of objects that can be as simple as a single part like a bolt
to the most confusing and complex assemblies like a refrigerator. Even though all of these sub
fields have different job focuses they all have the same amount of income with a range from
$121,000 to $126,000. The lowest paying sub field is the Mechanical Engineers with a Civil
Engineer being on the higher end of the

In creating a force field analysis, I first had to look at the presenting problem of what I plan to
change within my agency. For my field practice assignment, I am working in conjunction with my
supervisor (Assistant Director) and the Director of the program on implementing changes to the
provider s contract. There are many policies and procedures that are being violated on the provider
s end of the contract that are in turn causing violations with the Department of Health and A.C.D.

Child care providers must re apply for their license every two years and then once they submit
their new license to the network, they then sign a new contract. What could cause the contract
from not being revised would be its disapproval from the Vice President of the child care division.
In addition, if the provider s contract were to stay the same there would be no progression or drive
from the providers to adhere to the guidelines that have changed within the Department of Health
and the Child Care Network. The Critical Actors of the change would be the Vice President, the
Director and the Assistant Director. The driving force of the Vice President would be that she is
very much for a change in the providers behavior and professional attitudes toward the parents and
the caseworkers. She would also like to establish a more business like attitude with the caseworkers,
other network staff, and the parents. Lastly, she is looking for the providers to learn more
educational techniques from the trainings and workshops that are offered for them through the
network. The restraining forces would be that she would not approve the contact because its trying
to implement too much change at one time. Another restraining factor would be that the providers
would contact the UFT union (United Federation of Teachers) because of the extra demands that
are being asked of them without extra monetary compensation. A final restraining force of why she

The tourism market is expanding, going aboard has become a highlight and achievement for most.
People are eager to explore new places and culture.New Zealand with it s sensational features

Kiwi Experience is a bus service that provides a unique experience that an individual won t forget.
Their target market is aimed at the young individuals who have the desire to utilise their travelling

on their company?
Web1.0 and Web2.0?
World wide web (WWW) created by Tim Burners Lee is the building blocks of what we know as
the internet today. There has been a continuous growth even at present, versions of the web are
adapting to contribute to user satisfaction. It is a surface for virtual communication where data is
transfers wth hypertext document. Overlooking the formation of WWW has 3 stages: Web of
document(Web 1.0), Web of people (Web2.0) and Web of data (Web3.0) (Choudhury, 2014)
пЃ¬Web1.0
Being the first stage of WWW, it is described as an interface where the exchange of information is
solely delivered to a viewer as the function of reading. This means there is a lack of user interaction
as its focuses on delivering the content, without having consumers rating or feedback. An example
would be a basic informative website without the opportunity for consumer to comment.

American History X Is An American Crime Movie Directed By...
American History X is an American crime movie directed by Tony Kaye and produced by John
Morrissey in October 1998. It tells the astonishing tale of two Venice, Los Angeles brothers who
become skinheads through the neo Nazi movement and strived to make the white American
culture more efficient. It stars Edward Norton as Derek Vineyard, Edward Furlong as Danny
Vineyard, Stacy Each as Cameron Alexander, and Avery Brooks as Dr. Bob Sweeney. This essay
will focus on the deviant behavior committed by some of the people in this movie. Further, it
will discuss different theories as to why they committed the crimes. The three aspects that will
be discussed are Differential Association Theory, Reaction Formation Theory, and which one
serves as a better explanation. The main plot of the movie is focused on Derek Vineyard and his
younger brother Danny Vineyard, both white Americans. After their father had died by black
men, Derek got reeled into the neo Nazi movement, by Cameron Alexander, who is considered
the biggest distributor of white power literature. Derek had thought the murder was typical
because this country is becoming a haven for criminals decent. Hard working people like my dad
are getting robbed out by social parasites like blacks and browns (Kaye, Morrissey, 1998). He
believed everything was racerelated and minorities have only come here to exploit America.

The Use Of Primitive Tasers On The United States Of America
Most of us are familiar with the distinctive ticking of a TASER. TASERs, used by police
departments throughout the United States of America, have become a go to tool for apprehending
suspects without fatally wounding them. The first use of primitive TASERs dates back to 1960
and they have come a long way since. Such as advancements such as upgrading from gunpowder to
compressed air, to more computerised TASERs that automatically cut off and collect crucial user
data. With the advancement of technology, TASERs quickly became a more viable tool for an
officer s duty belt.
In the 1960 s law enforcement officers faced a multitude of protests from civil rights activists and

In 1974 Jack began his work on his idea drawing inspiration from a book called Tom Swiftand his
Electric Rifle. He first created a device that look like a flashlight. The device used gunpowder to
fire two prongs attached to wire up to 15 feet. Once the prongs made contact the device pulsed
50,000 volts into the target causing uncontrollable muscle spasms and effectively immobilizing the
target without killing. He came up with the name TSR, an acronym for the book in which he got
his ideas from, for his invention. Later he would add an a , making it the well known name today
TASER, to the name because he grew tired of saying the letters when talking about his invention.
After filing for a patent on his device Jack tried to start selling his new invention. However, the
United States government quickly classified his invention as a firearm because of the use of
gunpowder. This classification severely hindered his sales but he managed to sell to the Los
Angeles Police Department. When efforts to use the device to subdue Rodney King in 1991 failed
Patrick Smith teamed up with Jack to help improve the device. One of the major improvements
was replacing the gunpowder used to propel the prongs with compressed air. Without gunpowder in
the device the classification of firearm was dropped, making selling the device much easier. This

The Great Gatsby Pursuing A Dream
Today in the 21st century, everything has a cost. Yes, of course material things cost money, but, so
do actions. Pursuing a dream takes hard work, dedication, and time. While going after a dream one

dream, won t be the person at the finish line of that dream. Pursing a dream cost one s self. Along
the way of pursuing a dream, people focus so much on reaching their dream, they seem to forget
who they are as their self. Pursuing the one of his dreams, Gatsby s eyes were on her, not

Whales Evolution
Did you even know whales ever lived on land? The whales are the biggest animals. They are larger
than the largest dinosaurs. They live in the ocean like other sea creatures, but they almost look like
the land living animals more than the fishes. Furthermore, some scientists believed that around fifty
millions of years ago, the whales probably lived upon the land. There are two significant exhibits
from the two different periods why the scientists astonish about whales living is familiar to land
living mammals, which are whale s anatomy in this current period and whale s fossil remains of the
past.
Firstly, the anatomy of the whales nowadays is one of the significant testimonies to attest that the
whales lived on a land for a very long time ago. According to whale s anatomy, the whales have
placentas for giving birth and have nipples for feeding milk to their young unlike fish that lay
eggs for giving birth. They often nurse their children for two years. After that, their babies begin to

Mayan Ball Game Essay
Montaigne had very in depth opinions about the new world and how he felt simple and civilized
societies operated. Even though in his excerpt he defends cannibalism which would usually
discredit the writer, he still makes some very valid points. It is in fact barbaric to kill a living
person, and to make a mockery out of them by hanging is inhumane. Montaigne even goes as far
as to call war the human disease and believed it was more constant between the Europeans than it
was the natives. One thing that can be agreed upon is the savagery of a group of people that
would sacrifice a living person. In the Mayan ball game, anybody who lost the game which
happened to be kings or high officials most of the time, were killed and sacrificed to the Gods.
The Mayan ball game was an opportunity for the Mayans to show their loyalty to the gods by
sacrificing captured kings, high lords, or losing opponents. It was an alternative to war for cities
nearby, for settling issues they had with each other. There were always many spectators to watch
this game. To have many people watch the game and watch the losers get sacrificed to the gods,
regardless of their beliefs is inhumane. To the Mayans, this game was normal and necessary for
survival but from the outside looking in, one might think their behavior is barbaric.... Show more

On the other hand, many can understand why he would say it is more barbaric to kill a living
man than to eat a dead man. Murder is unacceptable in any form, whether it is a part of religious
beliefs or not. Montaigne would feel the Mayan ball game is a ritual for savages. However, the
game turns the tables as far as Montaigne s views on simple and civilized societies goes. In this

Brahe did not trust Kepler and worried that Kepler would surpass him and become more well
known than him. So Brahe assigned him the job of understanding the orbit of Mars because it gave
Brahe much difficulty, and would keep Kepler occupied while Brahe worked on his theory of
the solar system. Brahe also kept other data from Kepler hoping that he would be the one to
discover the orbits of the planets before Kepler did. In 1601, when Brahe died Kepler received all
of Brahe s data. Whether he obtained this data legally or not is still in debate today, however, it is
fortunate that he obtained this data. (Silverberg, 160)
When Kepler first began his work on the orbit of Mars he was under the assumption, as many
scientists were, that the planetary orbits were circular, and that the Sun was at the center of the
orbits. This type of system is called a heliocentric system. Also at this time only six planets were
known. When Kepler obtained Brahe s data he discovered that the orbits were not perfect circles,
but instead were ellipses that were only slightly flattened. The reason nobody else realized this
was because the orbits were so slightly elliptical that extensive investigation and data would be
needed to show this. It also turned out that the reason the orbit of Mars was very difficult to
understand was because its orbit was more eccentric than the other planets that Kepler and Brahe
had data about. To understand a lot of Kepler s work you must first

The Scientific Question On War
The Scientific Answer to War
On September 1, 1939, Germany under the control of Adolf Hitler invaded the sovereign nation of
Poland effectively starting the Second World War. By the end of the conflict in 1945 an estimated
64 million had died, more than the population of the United Kingdom (Thomas). The Second
World War saw the end of the German Third Reich, the founding of the United Nations, and the
United States and Russia becoming global superpowers. The Second World War s start is one log
debated: a continuation of World War Ithat theoretically ended in 1918, Japan seizes Manchuria,
Germany s reoccupation of the Rhineland, or Germany s invasion of Poland (World). No matter
the start of the warfare it is one of the deadliest wars the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Most theories offered on the causes of war are done through the lens of historians; however, this
essay uses the perspective of political scientists. The new lens allows for readers to look
information in a new dynamic. Figure I lays out of the steps a hostilities must take to expand into
war. Vasquez states that more than one step from each area is required to bring about combat
(Vasquez). Vasquez defines a world war as:
A large scale severe war among major states that involves the leading states at some point in the
war and most of the major states in a struggle to resolve the most fundamental issues on the global
political agenda (Vasquez).
The Second World War s fundamental issues mostly revolved around territorial disputes. These
disputes over areas such as Poland s Danzig, the Rhineland, Anschluss, and the Sudetenland drove
the start of the war. Overall the essay used the theory to show that World War II followed the
pattern of behavior roughly consistent with other war of its type. The Second World War onset
was brought about military buildups, repeated crises, and expanded through the making of allies.
Hitler s foreign policy and lack of diplomacy were another big reason that the Second World War
occurred. The policies pushed both sides to build up militaries; Germany to have successful
invasions and Britain and France because they felt threatened by Germany s territorial ambitions.
Even in 1936, the anti militarist Popular

Exploring Ways Of Assist And Or Intervene At Risk Students
The purpose of this study is to explore ways to assist and/or intervene at risk students in order to
set them on the path towards graduation. The NCES reported the graduation rate declined from
12% to 7% during 1990 2013. These are good improvements, however, we must continue take the
necessary steps to lower these numbers for future generations. Graduation will open up a world of
opportunities that might not other wise be available to them without a high schooldiploma.
According to an article in PBS Frontline in 2012, an individual without a high school diploma
can earn, a national average of, $20,241 a year. That is $10,386 less than a person who
graduated from high school. $10,000 does not sound like a lot of money spread out over an
entire year, but it averages out to be an extra $200 a week. In my opinion, that is significant.
Someone who goes on to earn their bachelor degree can expect to earn an additional $36,364 per
year. What many students do not understand is that without high school graduation they cannot
enter the military or qualify for many lower scale jobs as these require a diploma or high school
equivalency. There are so many factors that contribute to a student s decision to stay in school or
to dropout but if communities and schools can intervene, maybe the national dropout rate can be
lowered lending to a better life for all involved. For the last eleven years I have worked with at risk
high school students in an alternative school associated

The Diamond Trade Is The Process Of Mining, Global Trading...
The diamond trade is the process of mining, global trading and global selling, and creating a final
product or outcome with the diamond. Different parts of this process take place in different
hemispheres and parts of the world.
One pattern of the global diamond trade is the organisational structure, consisting of locational,
economic and political patterns.
Diamonds tend to be mined and sourced in less economically developed countries in the eastern
hemisphere such as Angola, The Democratic Republic of The Congo, and Botswana. But there are
less common diamond mines in more economically developed countries such as Canada, the United
States of America (located in the northern and western hemisphere) Australia, and South Africa
(located in the southern and eastern hemisphere). In less economically developed countries,
diamond miners are paid significantly less than those miners working in more economically
developed countries.
Disproportionate and unfair pay can lead miners who are working in less economically developed
countries, to sell their diamonds to smugglers, as the smugglers will pay more money for the
diamond than those legal diamond trading companies that participate and are involved with in the
Kimberley Process. Diamond trading that is not certified by the Kimberley process is a lot harder
in more economically developed countries, as there is a larger, more strict border control presence,
tougher laws and less corruption.

banned. Objectivism is a system of philosophy created by Ayn Rand, a Russian American novelist.
It has four main principles: objective reality, absolute reason, individualism, and laissez faire
capitalism. The concept of objective reality is where the name Objectivism originated. Basically, it
means that outside our own personal perceptions, there is one true reality happening. Objectively,
there are things going on in the world whether or not a person is there to see them. Objectivism s

The Benefits Of Peaceful Protest
Peacefully protesting to show support of a cause is not harmful to society. In the past, it has been a
technique simply to show you feel that your situation, a law or a proposition is not justified, in your
eyes. Protesting in that way does not damage society, however protests too often escalate to anger
and violence, diminishing the validity of the cause being demonstrated.
Peaceful protest can be an effective and beneficial way to make a point about how many in a
population feel strongly about an issue, yet many protests do not go as intended. The idea is to
calmly make your opinion known, to get noticed and to demonstrate the sheer mass of opposition
to a particular topic. Peaceful protest alone is not harmful, it is simply a group of people ... Show

Violent protest is divisive it turns citizens away from seeing reason in your stance, costs taxpayers
money for police protection and control and drives people strongly to one side or the other of the
issues protested. The reason that protests are often seen as dangerous is because they can turn sour
as the result of people using this power and ability to demonstrate as a reason to injure and destroy,
often without any connection to the original protested topic. Protesters have been known to break
shop windows, throw bricks at cars and even injure or kill one another in extreme situations.
Peacekeepers attempting to protect the citizens and prevent escalation are often vilified and
presented as brutalizing peaceful protesters.
As an example, the Women s March was held at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., the day
after the inauguration of President Donald Trump. The March was billeted by some as a backlash
against the election of President Trump, as serving notice that America will not cower in the face of
bigotry. The turnout dwarfed that of Trump s inauguration ceremony. It seemed as though the
liberal Left spent so much time lecturing Trump supporters on the importance of accepting the
election outcome, but when the results weren t what they expected, Democrats were first shocked,

Logan Opportunity Analysis Essay
Introduction As Logan has grown so has the media prejudice towards the city. Such terms as
Bogans from Logan have been created by the media and are filled with biases; hence this can be
quite demeaning for a city. To combat this treat an Opportunity analysis has been commissioned by
Logan City Council to rebrand the city of Logan. Throughout Southeast Queensland the term Bogan

Road To Morocco Sparknotes
1. What is the Middle East like? What is it like compared to the U.S. or Europe? Road to
Morocco depicts the Middle East, as a vast sandy desert, home to few settlements (Karameesh is
shown to be the only city in a vast empty desert) and only partially inhabited by people, as well as
camels. It is depicted as a mysterious, exotic and erotic place, with Jeff and Orville repeatedly
calling it strange due to their inability to understand it traditions,, which is where most of the film
s humor arises. One of the many times Jeff and Orville call it strange, they take back their
comments because a woman in sheer veils walks by in a midriff baring jewelled bra and flowing

the restaurant scene in which guards watch customers and threaten them with physical force if they

An Introduction Of Aerial Transport Essay
Introduction
The introduction of aerial transport dates back to the early 1900 s. Since then aerial
transportation has been the fastest means of transport, whether if passengers want to travel by
plane or by the helicopter, from one place to another. Today, aerial transportation is such an
important means of transportation that on average, 8 million people fly per day (IATA 2013)
along with 34.5 million tonnes of cargo per year (IATA 2012). Subsequently, passengers and
cargo have been a non stop concern to what is now reflected as a major industry. As time goes by,
the aviation industry resumes to grow at an international level. So at this stage, it easily comes
under the analysis for any incidents that may occur, being the fact that there are more than 5000
aircrafts in the US Airspace alone per day that sometimes at rare occasions may cause harm or
fatality to the passengers or the personnel on board (Referance.com 2016).
The Reason Model which was initially proposed by James Reason, now generally and frequently
referred to as the Swiss Cheese Model, a system that basically evaluates and understands what an
incident or accident is, to which every step of the process has its own potential failures. The Swiss
Cheese Model works on an assumption that most accidents can be tracked and followed back to
one or more of five levels of failure, concentrating on the organizational influences and human
limitations (UNSW 2011).
This essay will analyse the Swiss Cheese Model and the

The Tragedy Of Timothy Lawrence
There was no question about it. Helios was doomed.
Timothy Lawrence could feel the massive space station shudder as it started to be pulled towards
the surface of that hated planetb Pandora. As soon as he saw Jack s face appear on all the
monitors in their apartment he had gone to his computer to try to get the digital man s attention.
Thus far, he had been unsuccessful and now, for some reason, Helios was going down.
He cursed loudly as he typed frantically at the terminal s keyboard. Jack. Jack you ASSHOLE.
Answer me! Never before had he regretted not learning more about computers than he did right now
.
The monitor blipped on with that strange image of his departed lover he had seen elsewhere in the
station. He all translucent and blue, like the digitized versions of himself he had given Tim to use
in combat so many years ago.
Timothy, Jack s large, expressive eyes widened. Baby, Oh my god. I am so glad to see that you re
alright, Kitten. Holy shit, you look different.
Leave it to whatever this version of Jack was to be concerned at such a time with how different
his body double looked. He no longer wore the mask that made him his partner s double. The
very bolts that held it in place had been removed, leaving pink, scarred flesh in their place. As he
was quite a bit younger than his lover, he had always had to dye in the streaks of gray into his
otherwise brown hair. With Jack absent, he had stopped doing so. That, and he had cut his hair into

Semipermeability Of The Cell Membranes
A membrane is the cell s gatekeeper. This phospholipid bilayer says what molecules can move in
or out of the cell. The cell membrane is also responsible for maintaining homeostasis. The cell
membrane is semipermeable. They can control what molecules come in or out. There are two ways
that molecules can move across the membrane. Passive mechanisms like diffusion dont use any
energy while active transport uses energy to move molecules.
Diffusion is the movement of particles down their gradient. Simple Diffusion is the passive
movement from high to low concentration. Facilitated Diffusion is the movement of particles from
high concentration to low concentration through a protein carrier. Osmosis is the diffusion of water
across the cell membrane. steepness of gradient, temperature, size of molecule, and distance are all
factors in the rate of diffusion. Tonicity refers to the concentration of solute in the solvent. A
typical solution consists of two components known as the solvent and the solute. The solvent is
used as a dissolving medium while the solute is used as the substance dissolved in the solvent. In a
hypotonic solution, there is a lower concentration of solute relative to the inside of the cell. In a
hypertonic solution, there is a high concentration of solute relative to the inside of the cell. In
plants cells, the swelling of cells placed in a hypotonic solution results in turgor pressure. The
structure of the cell stops it from bursting. Turgor pressure keeps the

The Evolution of a Gentleman
Confucianism is based off of many diverse concepts, some of which are the junzi and the xiaoren.
These terms have been widely interpreted throughout time, and make up most of this concept. In
order to understand Confucianism, one must first understand the significance of these two notions.
A junzi (gentleman) and xiaoren (small man) are very important aspects of Confucianism and have
distinct meanings, qualities, and modern day societal attributes. While a junzi (gentleman) is
defined one way by Confucius, a xiaoren (small man) would be considered the contrary. As defined
by Confucius, a gentleman is an individual who lives by a moral code, not motivated by gain, but
by what is right. A small man is the complete opposite. A small man is an individual who lives to
benefit and for selfish reasons. Confucius states that gentlemen lead others through their actions
demonstrated through: When gentlemen perform well, all their duties to their relations, the people
are inspired to virtue (Chichung).1 Gentlemen are very selfless, unlike small men, and strive to be
better men and better citizens. People in turn strive to be like a gentleman. In early interpretations,
a gentleman was viewed as inherently superior to a small man and seen as a prince. The later
interpretation translated it, not as a ruler, but as a moral person who leads by his actions and honor.
Society is built up by gentlemen and

Essay On Honest And Dark Realism In Eugene ONeil
The work of playwright Eugene O Neil involves an honest and dark realism that takes the form
of a tragedy in almost all of his work. It creates a universal appeal to his work with the collapse
of his characters into misfortune through causes that lie within them, but unstoppable to do the
outside forces of their world. It s the idea that the world is bound by a fate, which is stronger
than our own will. In his work Long Day s Journey into Night Mary says, None of us can help
the things life has done to us. They re done before you realize it, and once they re done they
make you do other things until at last everything comes between you an what you d like to be,
and you ve lost your true self forever. Mary exemplifies the very core of O Neil s work in this
quote that the men and women of his world are victims of a cosmic trap, fated to them before
they even knew. O Neil s work follows the attitude that Mary has presented in the fact that his
characters are fated to fail, because in their failure is where dramatic realism is found.
While in other works we watch the turning point where fate has wielded it s hand to do as it
pleases, In The Iceman Cometh the point has come and gone for the characters before the play has
even had its first word read. The characters of the play embody a group of individuals
recognizable even in today s world; they represent the lost and the damned. Before the play has
even started we find that each character has already failed in their own way,

The Impact Of Martin Luther Spread Of Protestantism
Luther s spread of Protestantism primarily brought disunity to not only the Holy Roman Empire,
but also to England. The Catholic Church had recently just built the St. Peter s Cathedral and
started to sell indulgences to make more money off of the people. Martin Luther, a monk, was
against the Catholic Church and their teachings and indulgences were the last straw. He believed
that all a person needs to reach heaven is faith. Luther set out preaching his words opposing and
questioning the church and their faulty beliefs. People listened and followed him full of trust and
faith. However, this caused the Reformation and the beginning of a new religion. The spread of
Protestantism among Europe brought impactful periods of disunity within the Holy Roman Empire
and England, yet unlike the Holy Roman Empire, England was unified in the end. The entire
reformation brought more disunity than unity from the beginning in the Holy Roman Empire
(Germany) after Martin Luther s Reformation. It started with Luther s Ninety Five Theses in 1517,
which was sparked by the Catholic church selling indulgences and spreading false ideas. Within
his theses, he called out the church for their wrong teachings and corrupt clergy. His words,
actions, and opinions inspired people and gave them a new hope, faith, and religion. He caused a
divide within the Holy Roman Empire and was the main source of protestantism. Martin Luther
provoked even more division when he said, A Christian man

Basic Parameters That Affect The Performance
7.Basic Parameters That Affect The Performance in RTOS
7.1Multi tasking and preemptable:
In RTOS the system have to be multitasking and preemptable because those two features make the
RTOS Scheduler end any lower priority task to execute the higher ones or to release some
resources for other tasks that urgently need those resources. Also the system have to handle
different level of priorities of interrupts.(Yerraballi,R. 2000)
7.2Dynamic deadline identification:
In some scheduling algorithms such as (EDF)the deadline is converted to priority levels. Then we
can control priorities by controlling the deadlines. Although such an approach is error prone,
nonetheless it is employed for lack of a better solution (Buttazzo, 2005).
7.3Predictable synchronization:
The threads of the system need to communication and to be synchronized in a timely efficient and
predictable way.
7.4Sufficient Priority Levels:
In the scheduling algorithms based on priorities. There must be enough levels of priorities. Priority
inversion occur when a low level priority hold the resource that the the high level priority is
waiting for or blocked due to this resource, and the lower priority is delayed because low priority
task. Two workarounds in dealing with priority inversion, namely priority inheritance and priority
ceiling protocols (PCP), need sufficient priority levels.
7.5Predefined latencies:
The timing of the systems must be predictable and this is done by defining task switching

The Door by Miroslav Holub is very similar to Looking for Alibrandi as it also shows the concept

Use Of Social Media Platforms On Consumer Behavior
Looking for information is a highly important driver for a consumer to use social media platforms.
Information quality refers to a consumer s assessment of the information presented on a website
based on accuracy, relevance, helpfulness, currency (being up to date), and unbiasness (Cao et al.,
2005; Ou Sia, 2010; Zhang von Dran, 2000). Information is considered to be a key website feature
that influences consumerbehavior. Past research (Cao et al.; Day, 1997; Huizingh, 2000; Iyer, 2001;
Katerattanakul Siau, 1999; Ou Sia; Zhang von Dran) has found that information is highly important
to the development of a company s website to draw in and continue to attract online customers.
Interacting with information is described as the process people use in interacting with content
(Toms, 2002). If a brandpost contains information about the brand or product, then the brand fans
motivations to participate or consume the content of the brand post are realized.
Information content is considered to influence the cognitive (seeking, attending, interpreting, and
critiquing information), affective (excitement toward the information and ultimately the brand and
satisfaction), and behavioral (interacting with the information) components of online brand
engagement. Based on these, the following hypotheses are derived:
H1A: Perceived information quality on a Twitter brand s account that a consumer has followed
positively predicts cognitive online brand engagement.
H1B: Perceived

Filial Piety In A Devoted Son
Filial Piety in A Devoted Son A Devoted Son is the story of Rakesh, a young Indian man and the
relationship with his family. He receives top honors at school, accolades from his American and
Indian comrades, rises to the director of the local hospital, and becomes the richest doctor in his
town. Critics argue this is Desai s comment about perfect Indian society, where adherence to filial
piety, respecting one s parents, elders, and ancestors, is paramount (Crane). Rakesh s view of it
leads to a breakdown in his relationship with his father. The father feels neglected by his family
because they no longer respect his wishes. To Rakesh, belief in protecting his family from the
ills of society, despite their temptation, proves his dedication to family (Desai). Filial piety in the
abstract is a good standard to live by, but it could lead to destruction because adhering to it
removes emotions. In the beginning, the relationship between Rakesh and his parents was an
admirable one. Rakesh considers his parents feelings prior to making major decisions. From
choosing a wife to becoming the primary caretaker to his father after his mother s death, Rakesh s
sole desire seems to make his parents proud. Though the author does not dwell on the concept of
filial piety regarding the mother, she shows her dedication to the family at the expense of her health.
The mother s death marks a change in the family. The old father very quickly went to pieces,

Panorama: Behind the scenes by Julian Charriere demonstrates how humans have manipulated the
state of nature considerably, to the extent where we are compelled to create our own vision of
nature. At first, the video administers the impression of a still image which consists of a

pouring a white substance on the mountain. At this point, we recognize that this mountain is an
illusion created with soil while the snow is comprised of flour and fire distinguisher foam. The
purpose of this art piece is to lure the audience into the exposure of the truth about climate change.
Julian Charriere shot this piece with the intention to mislead the audience in viewing the mountain

company to increase efficiently and effectively the need for implementing a system that will
provide the functionality necessary to run the business, that is easy and convenient for the end
users, and delivers a competitive advantage is highly recommended. The system currently in place
does not meet those needs and will not support the growth and innovation, which are part of the

Shooting Science Experiment
The purpose of my science fair was to figure out what angle in shooting will produce the most
amount of goals. First I chose which angle for shooting is more effective to produce the most
amount of goals in a game. I chose this because in my games I have found that sometimes we miss
the shots on goal, and I wanted to find a way to put an end to it. That s why I chose this for my
science experiment. My results were that the 45 degree angle proved to be the best angle for
shooting and 90 degree angle was the worst. I predicted that if I kick from the 45 degree angle it
would produce the most amount of goals. I proved my hypothesis with a score of 4 out of the five
goals. In my results I got 3.6 for the 90 degree angle. In the 45 degree angle I got 4 out of five.
Using the 0 degree angle I got 3.3 out of 5. On the 45 I got a 2.3 out of five. Lastly using the 90 I
got a 2 out of 5.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The relationship is I have to keep moving the ball so I have to keep measuring the ball. That is
how they are related. Now I will discuss my experimental procedure. My procedure was this.
First I needed to measure out my angles from the penalty dot. Then I needed to kick the balls
into the goal and record my data out of five. Some of the things that may have affected my
results were that it had snowed and I had to shovel part of the field, and it may have made my tired.
Aklso that it was really cold and I may have been off my game because of

Fukushima Inductive Argument
In his article, Why Fukushima made me stop worrying and love nuclear power , Monbiot (2012)
uses an inductive form to generate his first key argument to support his main claim that the impact
of nuclear energy on people and the planet is less significant compared to burning fossil fuel. His
first premise is from the Fukushima disaster incident that shows no fatal cases caused by radiation
even though the reactor was ruined. Furthermore, his second premise refers to the 1979 nuclear
disaster that occurred in Pennsylvania, where the radiation exposure within 10 miles is 1/625 of
the maximum yearly amount permitted for U.S. radiation workers, which is 1/80 of the amount
which is deadly. Therefore, he concludes that the death rates caused by radioactive pollution issue
are relatively small and the dangers of it were farfetched by the environmentalists. This is a weak
inductive argument because the premises may be... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In his first premise, he stated that there was no death cases resulted from the nuclear meltdown.
However, after examining from other sources, one can realize that he has committed a Half truth
fallacy where the truth is told but several important key details are purposely omitted to support a
false conclusion. The data collected from Fukushima Prefecture, 2014 indicates up to 1,232 nuclear
related deaths which can be explained as later deaths as a result of diseases caused by the radiation
(MacPherson, 2015). Furthermore, to consider the dangers that the Fukushima disaster incident
contributed, one should take into account of other factors. One of such is the health of workers
whom are processing the aftermath surrounded by leftover radioactive water and it can be

Calpoly Pomeo Research Paper
Cal Poly Pomona is a very unique school in which it has the largest Cal State University
systems. It also is one of the great options when thinking about going to a CSU school. I would
love to be accepted into Cal Poly Pomona because I am interested in their learning by doing
philosophy. I think the idea of learning by seeing how to do things yourself is very effective.
The university also has my major that I want to study in. This school would be a good fit for my
personal needs and career aspirations because it has the major I want, is locally efficient, and is
one of the few universities that teaches students by having them do it themselves. Cal Poly was
established on September 15, 1938 and it is located in Pomona, CA. Their mascot is a bronco
horse, called Billy Bronco. The university specializes in majors such as the following; Business
/Marketing, Engineering, and Social Science and a bachelor s degree. It is best known for #11 in
Best Engineering Program without a doctorate program. According to an article made by US

Donald Trump Essay
Donald Trump
You re fired! It was the most popular phrase in reality television. The man behind the words is
famous, powerful, eccentric, yet very matter of fact about business. Donald J. Trump, more
commonly known as The Donald, brought the business world into millions of homes with his hit
reality show The Apprentice. I thought I was the biggest star before The Apprentice, but now I m
bigger. In a strange way, he s down to earth, the kind of guy who buys a $350,000 Maybach by
Mercedes but insists on driving it himself (Naughton). Trump s brash business skills, keen instincts,
and flare for taking risks has propelled him into stardom. Trump is one of America s most well
known billionaires.

The Trump name has a sort of wow factor and tends to place a 15% 50% premium on anything it
graces (Naughton). Trump s need for power has gone as far as having his name trademarked
(DuBrin 47). After the success of The Apprentice, Trump attempted to trademark his famous You re
fired! phrase.
Trump exhibits most, if not all of the traits of a charismatic leader. He has a vision that includes
marketing his own personal, profitable brand name. Trump is also very enthusiastic, optimistic,
and energetic. His upbeat personality helps him stay optimistic when business ventures fail.
Trump is sensibly persistent as evidenced by the restructuring of his casinos. While his casinos
are falling on hard times, he has stayed optimistic about the restructuring that will leave him
without a majority share. He recognizes that one of the only ways to make the casinos profitable
is to forfeit his 56% share in favor of a much smaller 25% share ( Should Donald ). Other
charismatic characteristics that Trump possesses include making an impressive appearance, being
candid, and displaying an in your face attitude (DuBrin 79).
With his name on almost every major piece of real estate in New York City, how does Trump
accumulate so much power? The answer is simple Trump has and uses several types of power.
Power is defined as the potential or ability to influence decisions and control resources (193).
Trump exhibits position

Big-Business and How It Is Affecting All Americans
A lot of these big businesses run similarly to dictatorship or communist countries, a person or
small group making the decisions for the masses, which these policies only apply to the masses
and not the group making the decision. Being above the corporate policies set forth for the
worker allows these greedy employers to promise the world if the employee works hard to
accomplish the company s goals of profit. Then, when the employer wants more and the employee
is not capable. They call the employee into the office to lay them off with no benefit other than
the benefit of experience working in the company. Although there is still the opportunity for the
American dream, big business decisions are helping that dream fade away because of greed.
These large corporations are pushing the percentage margin of profits to exceed well over twice
the amount of capital; most of it goes into the pockets of the executives, that the company put in
at the begin through the strategy of; laying off employees, closing work sites, and buying out the
smaller competition. However, the sovereignty of America is slowly dwindling away by the loss
of buying power of the US dollar, through the impact of the decisions made by these small
executive groups of big corporate America and foreign companies trying to beat the market leader.
They clearly do this by lowering the cost of a similar product below what American companies can
compete. It is easy to conclude that absolute power corrupts absolutely;

Once the Trichinella spiralis is ingested it goes through the body into the stomach, and encounters pepsin and gastric acid. Once this occurs larva is released and travels into the small bowel mucosa where they mature into adult worms. The adult worms then travel into the striated muscle an encyst into the body where they may live for years. Felix was an 18 year old boy, but not your typical 18 year old. He wasn t like the other boys his age. They would be playing sports like rugby and basketball. They were tall, towered over others in lower grades, broad and muscular. Felix was the total opposite of them. He was short, pale as an uncooked pancake, and didn t have much muscle. He had a circular face with a small button nose in the middle. Above the nose were two narrow, brown eyes with full eyebrows above them. In addition, Felix didn t play any sports, instead he preferred solving investigation cases and puzzles. Even though in his excerpt he defends cannibalism which would usually discredit the writer, he still makes some very valid points. It is in fact barbaric to kill a living person, and to make a mockery out of them by hanging is inhumane. Montaigne even goes as far as to call war the human disease and believed it was more constant between the Europeans than it was the natives. One thing that can be agreed upon is the savagery of a group of people that would sacrifice a living person. In the Mayan ball game, anybody who lost the game which happened to be kings or high officials most of the time, were killed and sacrificed to the Gods. The Mayan ball game was an opportunity for the Mayans to show their loyalty to the gods by sacrificing captured kings, high lords, or losing opponents. It was an alternative to war for cities nearby, for settling issues they had with each other. There were always many spectators to watch this game. So Brahe assigned him the job of understanding the orbit of Mars because it gave Brahe much difficulty, and would keep Kepler occupied while Brahe worked on his theory of the solar system. Brahe also kept other data from Kepler hoping that he would be the one to discover the orbits of the planets before Kepler did. In 1601, when Brahe died Kepler received all of Brahe s data. Whether he obtained this data legally or not is still in debate today, however, it is fortunate that he obtained this data. (Silverberg, 160) When Kepler first began his work on the orbit of Mars he was under the assumption, as many scientists were, that the planetary orbits were circular, and that the Sun was at the center of the orbits. This type of system is called a heliocentric system. Also at this time only six planets were known. When Kepler obtained Brahe s data he discovered that the orbits were not perfect circles, but instead were ellipses that were only slightly flattened. The reason nobody else realized this was because the orbits were so slightly elliptical that extensive investigation and data would be needed to show this. It also turned out that the reason the orbit of Mars was very difficult to understand was because its orbit was more eccentric than the other planets that Kepler and Brahe had data about. Vasquez states that more than one step from each area is required to bring about combat (Vasquez). Vasquez defines a world war as: A large scale severe war among major states that involves the leading states at some point in the war and most of the major states in a struggle to resolve the most fundamental issues on the global political agenda (Vasquez). The Second World War s fundamental issues mostly revolved around territorial disputes. These disputes over areas such as Poland s Danzig, the Rhineland, Anschluss, and the Sudetenland drove the start of the war. Overall the essay used the theory to show that World War II followed the pattern of behavior roughly consistent with other war of its type. The Second World War onset was brought about military buildups, repeated crises, and expanded through the making of allies. Hitler s foreign policy and lack of diplomacy were another big reason that the Second World War occurred. Exploring Ways Of Assist And Or Intervene At Risk Students The purpose of this study is to explore ways to assist and/or intervene at risk students in order to set them on the path towards graduation. The NCES reported the graduation rate declined from 12% to 7% during 1990 2013. These are good improvements, however, we must continue take the necessary steps to lower these numbers for future generations. Graduation will open up a world of opportunities that might not other wise be available to them without a high schooldiploma. According to an article in PBS Frontline in 2012, an individual without a high school diploma can earn, a national average of, $20,241 a year. That is $10,386 less than a person who graduated from high school. $10,000 does not sound like a lot of money spread out over an entire year, but it averages out to be an extra $200 a week. In my opinion, that is significant. Someone who goes on to earn their bachelor degree can expect to earn an additional $36,364 per year. What many students do not understand is that without high school graduation they cannot enter the military or qualify for many lower scale jobs as these require a diploma or high school equivalency. There are so many factors that contribute to a student s decision to stay in school or to dropout but if communities and schools can intervene, maybe the national dropout rate can be lowered lending to a better life for all involved. The diamond trade is the process of mining, global trading and global selling, and creating a final product or outcome with the diamond. Different parts of this process take place in different hemispheres and parts of the world. One pattern of the global diamond trade is the organisational structure, consisting of locational, economic and political patterns. Diamonds tend to be mined and sourced in less economically developed countries in the eastern hemisphere such as Angola, The Democratic Republic of The Congo, and Botswana. In the past, it has been a technique simply to show you feel that your situation, a law or a proposition is not justified, in your eyes. Protesting in that way does not damage society, however protests too often escalate to anger and violence, diminishing the validity of the cause being demonstrated. Peaceful protest can be an effective and beneficial way to make a point about how many in a population feel strongly about an issue, yet many protests do not go as intended. The idea is to calmly make your opinion known, to get noticed and to demonstrate the sheer mass of opposition to a particular topic. Peaceful protest alone is not harmful, it is simply a group of people ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Violent protest is divisive it turns citizens away from seeing reason in your stance, costs taxpayers money for police protection and control and drives people strongly to one side or the other of the issues protested. The reason that protests are often seen as dangerous is because they can turn sour as the result of people using this power and ability to demonstrate as a reason to injure and destroy, often without any connection to the original protested topic. Protesters have been known to break shop windows, throw bricks at cars and even injure or kill one another in extreme situations. Peacekeepers attempting to protect the citizens and prevent escalation are often vilified and presented as brutalizing peaceful protesters. As an example, the Women s March was held at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., the day after the inauguration of President Donald Trump. The March was billeted by some as a backlash against the election of President Trump, as serving notice that America will not cower in the face of bigotry. The turnout dwarfed that of Trump s inauguration ceremony. It seemed as though the liberal Left spent so much time lecturing Trump supporters on the importance of accepting the election outcome, but when the results weren t what they expected, Democrats were first shocked, then threw a metaphorical temper ... • 30. An Introduction Of Aerial Transport Essay Introduction The introduction of aerial transport dates back to the early 1900 s. Since then aerial transportation has been the fastest means of transport, whether if passengers want to travel by plane or by the helicopter, from one place to another. Today, aerial transportation is such an important means of transportation that on average, 8 million people fly per day (IATA 2013) along with 34.5 million tonnes of cargo per year (IATA 2012). Subsequently, passengers and cargo have been a non stop concern to what is now reflected as a major industry. As time goes by, the aviation industry resumes to grow at an international level. So at this stage, it easily comes under the analysis for any incidents that may occur, being the fact that there are more than 5000 aircrafts in the US Airspace alone per day that sometimes at rare occasions may cause harm or fatality to the passengers or the personnel on board (Referance.com 2016). The Reason Model which was initially proposed by James Reason, now generally and frequently referred to as the Swiss Cheese Model, a system that basically evaluates and understands what an incident or accident is, to which every step of the process has its own potential failures. The cell membrane is also responsible for maintaining homeostasis. The cell membrane is semipermeable. They can control what molecules come in or out. There are two ways that molecules can move across the membrane. Passive mechanisms like diffusion dont use any energy while active transport uses energy to move molecules. Diffusion is the movement of particles down their gradient. Simple Diffusion is the passive movement from high to low concentration. Facilitated Diffusion is the movement of particles from high concentration to low concentration through a protein carrier. Osmosis is the diffusion of water across the cell membrane. steepness of gradient, temperature, size of molecule, and distance are all factors in the rate of diffusion. Tonicity refers to the concentration of solute in the solvent. A typical solution consists of two components known as the solvent and the solute. The solvent is used as a dissolving medium while the solute is used as the substance dissolved in the solvent. The Evolution Of A Gentleman Madison Woolley PHIL 2010 Sec 07 05 Dec. 2016 WC: 1430 The Evolution of a Gentleman Confucianism is based off of many diverse concepts, some of which are the junzi and the xiaoren. These terms have been widely interpreted throughout time, and make up most of this concept. In order to understand Confucianism, one must first understand the significance of these two notions. A junzi (gentleman) and xiaoren (small man) are very important aspects of Confucianism and have distinct meanings, qualities, and modern day societal attributes. While a junzi (gentleman) is defined one way by Confucius, a xiaoren (small man) would be considered the contrary. As defined by Confucius, a gentleman is an individual who lives by a moral code, not motivated by gain, but by what is right. A small man is the complete opposite. A small man is an individual who lives to benefit and for selfish reasons. Confucius states that gentlemen lead others through their actions demonstrated through: When gentlemen perform well, all their duties to their relations, the people are inspired to virtue (Chichung).1 Gentlemen are very selfless, unlike small men, and strive to be better men and better citizens. People in turn strive to be like a gentleman. In early interpretations, a gentleman was viewed as inherently superior to a small man and seen as a prince. The later interpretation translated it, not as a ruler, but as a moral person who leads by his actions and honor. Society is built up by gentlemen and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 35. Essay On Honest And Dark Realism In Eugene ONeil The work of playwright Eugene O Neil involves an honest and dark realism that takes the form of a tragedy in almost all of his work. It creates a universal appeal to his work with the collapse of his characters into misfortune through causes that lie within them, but unstoppable to do the outside forces of their world. It s the idea that the world is bound by a fate, which is stronger than our own will. In his work Long Day s Journey into Night Mary says, None of us can help the things life has done to us. They re done before you realize it, and once they re done they make you do other things until at last everything comes between you an what you d like to be, and you ve lost your true self forever. Mary exemplifies the very core of O Neil s work in this quote that the men and women of his world are victims of a cosmic trap, fated to them before they even knew. O Neil s work follows the attitude that Mary has presented in the fact that his characters are fated to fail, because in their failure is where dramatic realism is found. While in other works we watch the turning point where fate has wielded it s hand to do as it pleases, In The Iceman Cometh the point has come and gone for the characters before the play has even had its first word read. The characters of the play embody a group of individuals recognizable even in today s world; they represent the lost and the damned. • 36. The Impact Of Martin Luther Spread Of Protestantism Luther s spread of Protestantism primarily brought disunity to not only the Holy Roman Empire, but also to England. The Catholic Church had recently just built the St. Peter s Cathedral and started to sell indulgences to make more money off of the people. Martin Luther, a monk, was against the Catholic Church and their teachings and indulgences were the last straw. He believed that all a person needs to reach heaven is faith. Luther set out preaching his words opposing and questioning the church and their faulty beliefs. People listened and followed him full of trust and faith. However, this caused the Reformation and the beginning of a new religion. The spread of Protestantism among Europe brought impactful periods of disunity within the Holy Roman Empire and England, yet unlike the Holy Roman Empire, England was unified in the end. The entire reformation brought more disunity than unity from the beginning in the Holy Roman Empire (Germany) after Martin Luther s Reformation. It started with Luther s Ninety Five Theses in 1517, which was sparked by the Catholic church selling indulgences and spreading false ideas. Within his theses, he called out the church for their wrong teachings and corrupt clergy. His words, actions, and opinions inspired people and gave them a new hope, faith, and religion. He caused a divide within the Holy Roman Empire and was the main source of protestantism. Martin Luther provoked even more division when he said, A Christian man ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Also the system have to handle different level of priorities of interrupts.(Yerraballi,R. 2000) 7.2Dynamic deadline identification: In some scheduling algorithms such as (EDF)the deadline is converted to priority levels. There must be enough levels of priorities. Priority inversion occur when a low level priority hold the resource that the the high level priority is waiting for or blocked due to this resource, and the lower priority is delayed because low priority task. Two workarounds in dealing with priority inversion, namely priority inheritance and priority ceiling protocols (PCP), need sufficient priority levels. 7.5Predefined latencies: The timing of the systems must be predictable and this is done by defining task switching ... He receives top honors at school, accolades from his American and Indian comrades, rises to the director of the local hospital, and becomes the richest doctor in his town. Critics argue this is Desai s comment about perfect Indian society, where adherence to filial piety, respecting one s parents, elders, and ancestors, is paramount (Crane). Rakesh s view of it leads to a breakdown in his relationship with his father. The father feels neglected by his family because they no longer respect his wishes. To Rakesh, belief in protecting his family from the ills of society, despite their temptation, proves his dedication to family (Desai). Filial piety in the abstract is a good standard to live by, but it could lead to destruction because adhering to it removes emotions. In the beginning, the relationship between Rakesh and his parents was an admirable one. Rakesh considers his parents feelings prior to making major decisions. From choosing a wife to becoming the primary caretaker to his father after his mother s death, Rakesh s sole desire seems to make his parents proud.
