Power And Lack Of The Restrictions
Arguably the most shocking show of power and the lack of the restrictions he faced in the
original documentary was when Theroux discovers that Savile has his personal details
including home address Savile simply states, There is nothing I can t do and nothing I can t get
. Another showcase of this level of power is within the report of another victim who was in
hospital for burnt hands. Savile climb in her window and whilst assaulting her, made comments
about her past teen pregnancy, showing that he had seen her medical records and knew her
room number. The lack of restrictions or his way around them seems to be a trait he has
developed a long time ago when footage of him being filmed unknowingly and stated that while
he ran a nightclub I invented no tolerance, I was always in trouble for being too heavy handed... I
d tie them up in the boiler room not throw them out... if a police officer ever came to me and you
were a bit heavy with them last night , I d say your daughter comes in here, she s sixteen... I
presume you d like me to look after her, if not tell me and I ll let them do whatever they want to
her and I ve never altered . This shows early signs of his power and manipulation as he is clearly
violating the rules and even the authority of the police don t question him, when asked about it
claimed it was simply a figure of speech, although often refers to himself as the godfather (Larkin,
2015). It was due to his power and the celebrity culture that

Essay On Daa And The University Of Michia
DACA and the University of Michigan Treatment: The documentary will begin with Trump s
decision to end DACA,which allows DREAMers (undocumented immigrants that were under 16
when they arrived, came before 2007, and have or are working on a high school diploma) to
temporarily gain protection from deportation and attain a two year, renewable work permit.1 Next,
it will briefly explain the potential consequences of the policy decision, primarily, the imminent
deportation of up to 800,000 young people it protects,2 and then the reactions to this policy change
across college campuses, finishing with a focus on the reaction of University of Michigan and its
students and faculty. This portion of the film will hopefully utilize news footage of... Show more

What are your demands of the university administration and why are they important? How will
they help DACA recipients? If possible, this portion will include interviews with DACA
recipients if they are willing to speak publicly. They will speak on their experiences, hopes and
fears as DACA recipients. The film will close with the plans of these organizations and students
moving forward; what consequences they fear and what can be done by the average person to
help those affected by this policy change. The spine of this story is the DACA students and their
allies quest for help from the University of Michigan administration and their desparate rally
against the potential deportation of hundreds of thousands of immigrants. The central tension lies
here, between the administration, which has only voiced its support of DACA recipients but has
done nothing, and the portion of the faculty and student body rallying to support their peers,
loved ones, and thousands of others aided by DACA. This film also will employ the Performative
Documentary Mode as it will address the audience emotionally and expressively, using interviews
to attempt to draw the viewer into alignment with the film s subjective ideology, which is that
DACA defendants are doing important work on campus with real concrete effects on fellow
students and faculty, who are threatened by the repeal of DACA and that ending DACA is a
dangerous political move for all

The Elder Sister Essay
The Elder Sister William Adolphe Bouguereau The Elder Sister is a painting by a well known
French artist William Adolphe Bouguereau. This work of art was completed by William in 1869.
As a result of research made on this painting, it was found that the painting was anonymously given
to the Museum of Fine Arts Houston as a gift in 1992. According to the museum, this was a gift of
an anonymous lady in memory of her father. Since then this amazing work of art has been a part of
the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine arts, Houston; becoming one of the most notable
highlights in the museums painting collection. Its dimensions are 51Вј Г— 38Вј in (130.2 Г—

We can also see the use of black shades to create a hole at the bottom part of the rock. With his
excellent use of colors, we can identify the good, healthy and green grass from the bad,
unhealthy, brown grasses. Looking beyond the main focus of the painting, he uses colors to
separate the sky from the land in the background creating a solid form of perspective on the
painting. He also uses colors to create water forms as seen behind the young character. Now, for
the sky, he uses shades of white to magnificently differentiate the thick clouds from the light
ones. He also uses this to create a source to light to the whole area. All these put together creates
a splendid, realistic and familiar atmosphere for the viewers to relate with. Another attracting
feature of this painting is that it appeals to your emotional side. Personally, I have an elder sister
and we share a connection that is really rare. I have a picture of her, holding me as a baby with a
huge smile on her face and this painting ultimately reminds me of that; giving me nothing but
pleasant memories. That is what William is trying to do here. He uses the soothing and caring
facial expression of the young lady together with the tenderness of the sleeping baby to capture his
viewers and appeal to their caring and emotional side. In nutshell, this painting is altogether
amazing and beautiful. I remember staring at it for a couple minutes trying to

How Did Southern Ocean Density Change
The study includes the first detailed reconstruction of the Southern Ocean density of the period and
identified how it changed as the Earth warmed. It suggests a massive reorganisation of ocean
temperature and salinity, but finds that this was not the driver of increased concentration of carbon
dioxide in the atmosphere. The study, led by researchers from the University of
Cambridge, is published in the journal
Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences
. The ocean is made up of different layers of varying densities and chemical compositions. During
the last ice age, it was thought that the deepest part of the ocean was made up of very salty, dense
water, which was capable of trapping a lot of CO2. Scientists believed that a decrease in the

We set out to test the idea that a decrease in ocean density resulted in a rise in CO2 by
reconstructing how it changed across time periods when the Earth was warming, said the paper s
lead author Jenny Roberts, a PhD student in Cambridge s Department of Earth Sciences who is
also a member of the British Antarctic Survey. However what we found was not what we were
expecting to see.
In order to determine how the oceans have changed over time and to identify what might have
caused the massive release of CO2, the researchers studied the chemical composition of
microscopic shelled animals that have been buried deep in ocean sediment since the end of the
ice age. Like layers of snow, the shells of these tiny animals, known as foraminifera, contain clues
about what the ocean was like while they were alive, allowing the researchers to reconstruct how
the ocean changed as the ice age was ending. They found that during the cold glacial periods, the
deepest water was significantly denser than it is today. However, what

Analysis Of Porter s Five Forces
Porter s Five Forces
The Treat of Entry
The children s products and services industry is one of the highly profitable sectors in the UK
because the total UK children s wear market alone worth around ВЈ5.91billion in 2011 with a 6.5%
growth from the previous years (keynote 2011). This shows that markets such as these are highly
profitable and they can attract new firms easily; on the other hand it can decreases the profitability
for all firms within the market and then creates a higher level of competition. the threat of entry is
largely dependent of the barriers to entry within the market itself. Generally when volume of
production increases, the average cost per unit decreases with economies of scale. One of the
barriers of entry for Mothercare and its competitors is the economies of scale which they can
exploit in order to provide lower prices to consumers or generate higher profits. Therefore, in order
for a company to compete directly with Mothercare, it would need to have enough capital to
produce goods at near the same volume than the market leaders. But Tesco PLC and other large
supermarkets were able to penetrate and become strong competitors in the market because of the
large capital they have. Also, In 1990 ASDA launched its George (Brand republic 2006) range
and was instantly able to provide quality clothing at cheap and affordable price because they had
many outlet and capital which gave them advantage of large economies of scale. The Bargaining

The Human Body s Defense System
The immune system is our body s defense system it is vital to our body s health and survival. We
need the immune system to fight off bacteria, viruses, and other foreign, harmful substances as well
as our own cells that have become bad or even cancerous. There are several building blocks that
make up the system as a whole, each just as important as the next, that work hand in hand. This
includes the lymphatic system, biological molecules, antibodies, white blood cells, the tonsils,
thymus, bone marrow, and the spleen. The tonsils and thymus both create antibodies, while bone
marrow (among other things) creates white blood cells, which are crucial to fighting off
infection. The lymphatic system carries waste as well as nutrients, and lymph fluid throughout
the body in the blood stream. The lymph nodes act as a strainer or filter, so when the lymph fluid
travels through, it traps virus s, bacteria, and any other substance that s foreign to your body.
These things are then destroyed by lymphocytes, which are specialized white blood cells. The
spleen, which also works as a filter, gets rid of aged or damaged platelets and blood cells, and also
destroys bacteria and other harmful or foreign substances. When an autoimmune disease occurs, it
is because the body has triggered an inflammatory defense response when there is nothing to protect
the body from. Inflammationis what happens when white blood cells and immune proteins are
fighting off infection. The immune system

Piracy In The Music Industry
There are $12.5 billion in economic losses each year due to Piracy in the music industry. This
shows how people are not taking piracy seriously and treating it not as a crime. Piracy is a crime
and people should be able to use it against people in their cases. Based on the evidence in this
article, companies involved in legal action should use emotionally charged language such as
piracy to win their cases because if they seem to be copying an artist s piece without permission and
selling it for free, it is piracy and piracy is a crimethat they can use. The person who made their
work must have spent a lot of time on it so they would be able to accuse it s as piracy if someone
were to steal it. According to the article, People who work hard to produce creative works are
entitled to enjoy legal protection to reap the benefits of their labors. And if others want to enjoy
those creative works, it s reasonable to make them pay for the privilege. This proves that people
generally want to be able to be proud of their work by putting a cost with... Show more content on

The text states, It would no longer matter whether the property misappropriated was tangible or
intangible, real or personal, a good or a service. All of these things were now to be treated
uniformly. This shows that the emotionally charged language should be used because it is
appropriate for this matter that these things are truly being stolen. Piracy is an ongoing problem
that many people do not take seriously. Just because something is intangible does not mean that it
does not have any value. In conclusion, organizations should use emotionally charged language
such as piracy because stealing these intangible things are counted as a crime so it is only fair to use

Examples Of Foreshadowing In Julius Caesar
Foreshadowing Although Montessor s actions express the guilt side of the theme,
foreshadowing expresses the complete opposite side; satisfaction. As Montressor is leading
Fortunato through the catacombs towards his death, he is talking to Fortunato as if he is his
friend but he foreshadows Fortunato s death multiple times which Fortunato does not seem to
pick up because of how drunken he is. For example, when Fortunato s cough is getting worse,
Montressor says You are a man to be missed. For me it is no matter. We will go back; you will be
ill, and I cannot be responsible. Besides there is Luchressi which angers Fortunato into saying
Enough, the cough is a mere nothing; it will not kill me, I shall not die of a cough and Montressor
replies; True true and indeed, I had no intention of alarming you the unnecessarily but you should

A draught of this Medoc will defend us from the damps . When Montressor says True, true , he
ensures that the cough is definitely not going to kill Fortunato because he himself is going to kill
Fortunato but Fortunato does not have the slightest clue due to his drunken state. After saying that,
Montressor quickly changes the topic by giving Fortunato another drink so Fortunato does not
notice anything suspicious. Second example is when Montressor randomly tells the Montressor
family s motto; Nemo me impune lacessit which translates to No one hurts me with impunity .
Montessor s intentions are to punish Fortunato with impunity and he foreshadows it by telling him
a motto about punishing with impunity without making it relate to himself. Due to the fact of how
drunken Fortunato is, he does not notice what Montessor s intentions are which gives Montressor
satisfaction because he knows his plan is working perfectly. The final example of foreshadowing is
when Montressor tells Fortunato that he is a Manson but Fortunato does not believe him so

Essay about Discuss the Male Reproductive System
Discuss the Male Reproductive System
The reproductive system is questionably the body system that is the most important influence on
life as we know it. It is the w ay in which we procreate and ensure our existence as a species.
However, the penis is only one part of the male reproductive system, which constitutes of a series
responsible for generating, storing, and transporting the genetic material contained in the sperm
cells. The main organs include: testicles (or testes), the epididymides, the vas deferens, the
ejaculatory duct, the urethra, and the penis. Others are the scrotum, urogenital opening, and the
prostate gland.
The penis is a male organ, responsible for transporting urine and semen outside the body. It is a ...

Testes are kept in the scrotum sac and are two oval shaped glands, about 8,5cm long and 2.5cm
wide. A midline septum divides the scrotum into two halves and each testical is covered in two
tunics; the Tunica vaginalis from the peritoneum and the Tunica albuginea which is a deeper tunic
and a fibrous capsule. The septa from this layer then divides the testes into 250 300 wedge shaped
compartments or lobules. It is in these lobules that seminiferous tubules are found, where sperm is
made. Each lobule contains about 1 4 seminiferous tubules. The network into which seminiferous
tubules empty is called the Rete testis. After which, the epididymis receives sperm from the rete
testis network.
The scrotum is a loose sac of skin and superficial fascia outside the abdominopelvic cavity, fascia,
and smooth muscle that encloses and supports the testes outside the body at an optimum
temperature for the production of sperm, about 3 degrees below body temperature. When the
temperature is too low, the spermatic cord (This cord is surrounded by skeletal muscle and
suspends the testes) tightens thus pulling the testes closer to the body. When the temperature is too
hot, the cord relaxes resulting in the testes moving further away from the body. The muscles
responsible for this are Cremaster muscles, which extend from the internal obliques and elevate the
testes. Most men might have noticed that when this happens, the scrotum skin wrinkles. This is due
to the smooth muscle in the

The Between Cultures And Cultures
The deferments between cultures It is great to be familiar with the cultures of any country because
they are reflecting the nature and culture of people across country. The most amazing thing in the
knowledge of civilizations is that you will see that there is partnership between countries and
others in some of the habits and traditions. Perhaps you may wonder yourself why these people do
this thing or how it had come to this tradition, etc. As an example of functions in Asia to look alike
in some habits I will talking about this point in this article. The Europeans left their similarity in the
traditions and all the nations of the African continent, there s thing had in common you may see in
the customs, traditions or be in the arts, therefore when the aspirations of the people in any country
will find the rightful more than to be at home in front of the the TV and see what programs and
news and to etcetera social programs. Because at the moment, perhaps to see the news or programs
and believes it is true and in the end, when the people of the country liters that were taking about the
news will change your opinion about this country and the reason is that you have to meet with a
member off this country. When I stared researching this subject and after stay when I finished some
personal interviews with international students from different countries, I fund that there is what is

What Role Did Socrates Play in Ancient Greece?
In the leading city of Athens 2,500 years ago during the Golden Age, a peculiar philosopher was
born into the reign of Pericles. Socrates went against common religion, influenced social roles and
people, and was the founder of the Socratic Method. Religious opinions affected Socrates life a
great deal. Whereas most Athenians observed polytheism and ... Show more content on

They were very popular but loathed at the same time because of the financial problems they
were causing. For example, the most famous sophist was called Corax. He had a student called
Tisias who refused to pay the fee for his classes, he said Before I started, you promised you
would teach me to persuade anyone to do whatever I wanted. Let me now persuade you not to ask
for your fee. If you still demand it, you did not do what you promised, therefore I owe you nothing.
However, Socrates discredited this, However, not one of these things is true; nor, if you have heard
from anyone that I attempt to teach men and require payment, is this true. (Plato, n.d.). Socrates
irritated people by insisting things that could not be true. Critobulus, who was considered by
many to be the most handsome man in Athens. However, Socrates, with his protruding eyes and
large nose insisted he was more stunning than Critobulus. Socrates defended this by saying things
such as Because while yours see straight ahead, mine, by bulging out as they do, see also to the
sides, and Mine, I consider, granting that Providence made us noses to smell with. For your
nostrils look down toward the ground, but mine are wide open and turned outward so that I can
catch scents from all around. (Zannos, 2004). Another story of Socrates impacting the life of an
individual is shown by the dialogue that he had with a young man he met at a wrestling school
named Lysis. Socrates admitted to

The Pros And Cons Of Fighting In National Hockey
What is the first image that comes to mind when you think of hockey? The Stanley cup? The
average amount of goals scored in a game? No, Most people think of fighting. Two people going
at it, trying to kill each other while on ice. There is a lot of controversy if this should stay in the
game. I think fighting should be allowed in the National Hockey League(NHL). Some of the
reason why fighting should be allowed in the National Hockey League are fighting could prevent
other injuries.Fighting is also used to protect amazing players that give a team an advantage. It
gives other people who are tough a job and a chance in the NHL.
To start off, Hockey is a very physical sport. But fighting has been in it forever. Fighting could
potentially prevent other injuries that could occur in a hockey game. Fighting in the NHL could
prevent other injuries because if there is not fighting and two payers are getting mad at eachother
they could hit each other harder and in ways that could hurt the other player. If there was fighting
there wouldn t be these injuries and players will not get hurt. Another reason why fighting could

reason how fighting could give people a job in the NHL is becauses because ther are some
players who get in the NHL because they can fight. Hockey is a tough sport it s a very physical
sport and with that fighting can occur in most circumstances. If a player on the opposing team
decides to hurt one of the maine players on the other team, that team will send out a player to
fight this will give people a job and a chance in the NHL. This also leads me in to my next reason
on why fighting should stay in the

The length of a poem specifically, can convey the overall thoughts of the poet. In James
Montgomery s A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief from the Augustan Age, had a very long and
descriptive structure which exaggerated the story within the poem as well as the theme it
portrayed. He was, Stripped, wounded, beaten nigh to death (Montgomery Line 33). James
Montgomery turned grief into something that was emotionally slow and agonizing with all the
details he used to allude to Jesus suffering. In George Meredith s The Lesson of Grief , had
shorter, simpler lines that were used to explain grief furthermore. When I had shed my glad year

craving heart For not my own (Meredith 6 10). George Meredith used shorter lines to get his
idea straight across and show that grief is not only something that is painful but also becomes a
part of who you are as a person. In Charles Bukowski s Consummation of Grief , the structure of
the poem consisted of many short lines that are all separate and aren t part of any stanzas. I listen

What Is The Unity Of Effect In The Raven By Edgar Allan Poe
Martha Garbarini Ms. Hopkins P3 H English II September 23, 2015 Wondering Nevermore
Edgar Allan Poe was one of the most influential authors of his time, being highly regarded as a
pivotal figure of Romanticism in American Literature. For many, the name brings to mind
images of madmen and dark, twisted tales of fate. In Poe s work, he had a way of impacting his
readers deeply, through language choice, all, and elaborate imagery. In one of Poe s most
acclaimed works, The Raven, unity of effect is achieved very well through skillful language
choice. In stanza sixteen, Poe writes, By that Heaven that bends above us by that God we both
adore Tell this soul with sorrow laden if, within the distant Aidenn, It shall clasp a sainted maiden
whom the angels name Lenore. Simply put, Poe could ve chosen much more basic words that
didn t create the same effect that these words did on the reader; but the idea that his soul is laden
with sorrow, and Lenore shall be clasped , leaves us as the reader space to interpret his words and

The Darkling Thrush by Thomas Hardy Essay
The Darkling Thrush by Thomas Hardy
The poem entitled The Darkling Thrush, written by Thomas Hardy, has a very appealing
connotation. The work can be separated into two parts; the dismal part pertaining to the beginning
of winter and the second part focusing on one small aspect of good in all of the dismal
surrounding it. The general idea of the poem is that the dismal winter is approaching, but there are
some incidences of goodness in this depressing time.
The first part can be sectioned into the first and second stanzas. The poem opens with I leant upon a
coppice gate. This is the moment when the author enters the small wood and begins to narrate his
thoughts and feelings. The next ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The third stanza is where everything seems to turn around. As the narrator seems to be sitting in
this small wood, they seem to see a thrush, which is a small bird. Lines eighteen through twenty
seem to explain this very simply. They state, At once a voice arouse…in a full hearted
evening song. This tells the reader that under all of this gloom, there is one living aspect and that is
this bird.
The fourth and final stanza tells the reader the narrator s new feelings on the winter months. This is
best summed up in the last two lines of the poem. They state, Some blessed Hope, whereof he knew
and I was unaware. This states that the narrator feels that winter will soon be ending and the tiny
little thrush showed the narrator this. The narrator now knows that there is a hope of the summer
months coming.
The theme of the poem is to find good meaning in everything and that good is always present in
everything. God does things for a reason and the good may not always be immediately visible,
but it is there and it is our job to search it out. In the case of the poem, the narrator now knows that
the warmer seasons will return to again bring joy and life to everyone.
The Darkling Thrush by Thomas Hardy is a poem written in December of the year 1900. This
coincides with the themes of the poem itself, being a sadness

Aeruginosa Case Studies
aeruginosa is a Gram negative bacterium capable of surviving in a wide range of environments. It
is an opportunistic pathogen and it is commonly associated with nosocomial infections and
infections of severely burned individuals, and are a leading cause of death in severe respiratory
infections1. In particular, P. aeruginosa is the leading cause of chronic pulmonary infections and
mortality in cystic fibrosis (CF) patients2. Infections with P. aeruginosa are difficult to eradicate,
due to their high levels of antibiotic resistanceand growth in biofilms3.
Bacterial communication occurs through a well developed system termed the quorum sensing (QS)
system. QS system is the regulation of gene expression in response to fluctuations in cell population
density. Quorum sensing bacteria produce and release chemical signal molecules called autoinducers
that increase in concentration as a function of cell density. Cell cell communication via

Blood, Toil, Tears And Sweat By Winston Churchill
Every morning when people wake up, they face a new day filled with the challenges of life.
These challenges come in many forms. Many of the challenges people face can be solved and
overcome; however, others may be difficult or even impossible to solve. As people endure the
challenges they cannot solve, it is important to remember that a positive attitude will help anyone
successfully endure challenges they face in life. Research has confirmed and the book The Diary
of Anne Frank and the speech Blood, Toil, Tears and Sweat by Winston Churchill are proof that
the best way to respond to conflict is to maintain a positive attitude and focus on the task at hand.

Barbara Fredrickson is a positive psychology researcher at the University of North Carolina and
she published a landmark paper that provides surprising insights about positive thinking and its

tested the impact of positive emotions on the brain by setting up an experiment. During this
experiment, she divided her research subjects into 5 groups and showed each group different
film clip. The first two groups saw clips that created positive emotions, the third group saw
images that were neutral and produced no significant emotion, and the last two groups were
shown clips that created negative emotions. At the end of the experiment, participants who
experienced positive emotions could think of more possibilities in life; showing that positive
emotions broaden the sense of possibility and even open the mind up to more options. In her

of the many stress coping mechanisms that I researched and thought they fit best with my active

Another coping mechanism for my disturbed sleep pattern is time management according to an
article from College teaching talked about a Research project looking at how students spend
their time between work, school, and social interaction, They had the students keep a time diary
to keep track of their day to day activity. It showed that most of any given day was spent on social
interaction and then working due to finical strains and the least on schoolwork and activities
(Hanson, T. L., Drumheller, K., Mallard, J., McKee, C., Schlegel, P. 2011). This time diary is a
great way for me to see where my time is spent and allow my to cut out or at the least cut down
on unnecessary time spent doing things that are not related to schoolwork or work which will
allow me to better manage my day and get to bed at a reasonable hour and not have to be
stressed because all the work has been done in a timely fashion. In conclusion the biggest
stressors in my life are school, and my disturbed sleep pattern. School is a stressor because it
causes me to miss work, which hurts me financially because not only do I miss work but I also
use the money from working to help fund schooling. I found the best coping mechanism to fit my
life style was yoga because it has been shown to lessens the affects of stress, help with focus, and

Maimonides Intro To Mishnah Sanhedrin
Reason and Tradition Essay In both premodern and modern times, priests and religious figures
have felt threatened by the growing field of science. What they failed to realize is that science and
religion don t answer the same questions. Society needs reason, a logical and practical
understanding of the world, to answer the question hows of life. Yet, it also needs tradition, faithin
religionor other core belief system, to answer the whys. As shown in Maimonides Intro to Mishnah
Sanhedrin Chapter 10, Sacks, the Great Partnership, and the debate between Rabbi David Wolpe
and Christopher Hitchens, reason provides explanations for the processes that allow the world to
work the way it does, while tradition provides meaning in life and an understanding of purpose.
According to Maimonides in the Intro to Mishnah Sanhedrin Chapter 10, there are three groups of
people. The first two groups he describes make the mistake of interpreting tradition too literally. He
said, their teachings when taken literally, seem so fantastic and irrational. Religion is not supposed
to be understood on a basic level because its purpose is not to explain how the world works. Only
the third group understands that the Jewish tradition must be interpreted and looked at deeper to
understand its truths. By studying it deeply, tradition presents humans an... Show more content on

Adopted Heritage in Alice Walker s Everyday Use Essay
Each of us is raised within a culture, a set of traditions handed down by those before us. As
individuals, we view and experience common heritage in subtly differing ways. Within smaller
communities and families, deeply felt traditions serve to enrich this common heritage. Alice Walker
s Everyday Use explores how, in her eagerness to claim an ancient heritage, a woman may deny
herself the substantive personal experience of familialtraditions.
Narrated by the mother of two daughters, the story opens with an examination of one daughter s
favoring of appearances over substance, and the effect this has on her relatives. The mother and her

She carries scars on her arms from the fire that destroyed their house, reads clumsily to her

Chinese Americans And Filipino Americans
With all the discord going on around the word today, it is quite easy for us to forget that at the
end of the day, we are very much similar to each other. When we hear of the Chinese Americans
and Filipino Americans living in America today, not often do we see a connection between the
two except for the fact that they come from Asia or have descendants from Asia. If we dive
deeper into history, we will see that when the Chinese and the Filipinos first came to America, they
had very similar purposes and goals in mind; one of them being make money and go back home.
They were both determined to work hard for a country quite foreign to them but both were also
targeted as the other side and a majority of them suffered from ill treatments like assault and blatant
discrimination.
Before the Chinese began to immigrate to America, China had previously lived in isolation from
the rest of the world for a while after Zheng He s voyages in the 15th century allowed the Chinese
to receive confirmation that they were much more advanced than any other group at that time.
However, China still participated in the Manila Galleon Trade with Mexico until the 1800s in
which Chinese goods such as silk, ivory and porcelain were exchanged for silver. In the late 1700s
the first ship from the United States with the name Empress of China sailed for China with
intentions to start a trade relationship between the two countries. The trip proved to be successful

House On Mango Street Entrapment Theme
We all have had times where we have felt trapped, times where we have been cornered, with no
escape. Times where we have felt entrapped. Entrapment makes you feel like you have no way out
or like there are no choices that can be made. In the book The House on Mango Street, the author,
Sandra Cisneros has a theme of entrapment; the theme is shown through the symbol of windows
which represents freedom, something that women in the book were not granted, the author was
showing us that freedom is a privilege and not something to take for granted.
The windows show the outside world, showing you what lies beyond the four walls which you are
stuck between. Many cases throughout the book result in a woman s character being trapped and
not being able to leave the house they are in. The women then result in looking out the windows
only to dream about leaving. She looked out the window her whole life, the way so many women
sit their sadness on an elbow (11). The main character s grandmother was trapped in her own

The Ottoman And The Fall Of The Ottoman Empire
The Ottomans were initially composed of Turkish tribes who gained most of their power between
the 15th and 16th century, however the empire had been growing since the 13th through the
accumulation of new territory. Their quick expansion was accomplished through winning many
battles. The empire started out in Iran and Mesopotamia, but eventually came to conquer parts of
Turkey and Thrace in the 13th century, Bulgaria, eastern Europe, and Constantinople in the 14th
century, western Asia and southeast Europe in the 15th century, and Crete in the 16th century
before their decline. During the mid to late 1400s, Mehmed II was the Sultan. He conquered
territories in Anatolia and the Balkans as well as Constantinople, granting him the title of The
Conqueror. The fall of Constantinople was extremely significant in the growth of power for the
Ottomans because it resulted in the fall of the Byzantines after conflicts between the empires for
over a century. Shortly after, Mehmed II obtained the remains of the Byzantine Empire. In the early
1500s, Selim I became sultan. While in power, he extended their land into Syria, the Hejaz, and
Egypt. After Selim I conquered the Dulkadir principality of Elbistan, conflict arose between the

Microsoft E Business Suite ( Ebs ) Upgrade
Possibly the most comprehensive change to the daily operations will be the Oracle E business suite
(EBS) upgrade. This IS will provide many solutions to the operations and maintenance managers by
providing total operational oversight at the click of a button. EBS enables users to oversee projects,
asset milestones and budgets, and staff projects. It also has a quick report generator for business
meetings and scheduling. Another feature that will be highly beneficial is the ability for EBS to
integrate and enhance existing programs. It will streamline financials, enhance supply chain
management, and fulfill human capital management requirements. Utilizing the asset lifecycle
management tool within EBS will enhance financial management of our aircraft and equipment
items. It will also calculate the most efficient way to make payments on the aircraft that will
maximize the use of our funds and free up income that can be used elsewhere within the budget.
Many of the equipment items will require calibration from testing measurements and diagnostics
equipment (TMDE) laboratories, which require scheduling and shipping coordination. For this
task, the value chain execution tool would be perfect. It will line up and track the schedule of
TMDE items that require calibration; once the items come due shipping will be coordinated
automatically. There are plenty of applications in the Oracle E Business Suite that the club will

Cultural comparison between France and Germany
European French and German don t look different regarding culture, personalities. First of all:
French is (partly) a Mediterranean country, this has a huge difference on the personalities culture,
etc. Mediterranean countries and people tend to share a lot in culture temperament etc. Also,
French is a strong Latin influence, as a former part of the Roman empire sprawling from Egypt
and Minor Asia to England. This does make a difference while Germans do also have been part
of the Roman Catholic world for ages, they do have a different level of integration with this
distinct Roman culture that shaped the western civilization. French is seemed to be a little bit
more approachable (although with the barrier of language) on average from most Germans
(HuwaГ« Schaafsma, 2017). Not so direct or easy going but again they do have a Mediterranean
flavor on them. Similarly, France maintains a tradition of secularism and has not officially collected
data on religious affiliation since the 1872 national census, which complicates assessments of
France s religious composition while Germans have Roman Catholic 29%, Protestant 27%, Muslim
4.4%, Orthodox Christian 1.9%, other 1.7%, none or members of unrecorded religious groups 36%

Morality, Religion, And Morality
There are millions of people in the world who use religion as a guide to what is morally right or
wrong in society. They have the perception that morality is impossible without a belief in a higher
power or that religion and morality cannot be separate. On the other hand, there are also many
people who believe that the only real basis for moralityshould be separate from a belief in a god and
from religionitself. So does society really need to believe in a higher power to have morals? The
answer is no for a few simple reasons. Morality is not necessarily a part of religion, nor is
religion the essence of anything moral. Religion and morality can be separable in many different
aspects along with the fact that not everyone who is moral is religious. Society can in fact have
moral values regardless of whether a belief in a higher power is present or not.
It can be argued that someone who is religious has a higher sense of morality than someone who
doesn t practice a religion at all, but does practicing a religion make you a better person than
someone who doesn t? The world has a large number of people who do not practice any religion
but still live moral lives. Atheists and agnostics do not behave less morally than religious believers,
even if their virtuous acts are mediated by different principles. They often have as strong and sound
a sense of right and wrong as anyone, including involvement in movements to abolish slavery and

His actions were unexplainable to the relatives of the patient and unacceptable in care industry as

that the message was for adults. Sever parents chose to bring their children and young adults in to
benefit fromhearing the message and we applaud this. So again, great job.
Please remeber to stay aware for 1st time guests as the enter and to greet them as the enter the
Sanctuary. I know it can be hard to focus on the guest with the incredilbe praise and worship
band playing and it s especially hard when there is a message that we need to hear. This is why
we highly encourage to worship at one service and serve at the other. This allows you to focus on
getting fed and serving without sacrificing either.
You are an amazing team and I am so honored to be serving with you. See you Sunday.
Let this month of service be one of real joy as you serve the One you worship.
It all begins with reflection. There are two parts to this: reflecting ON God and allowing the Spirit
of God to work within us so that we become better reflections OF God.
REFLECT on GOD:
I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember Your miracles of long ago I will
meditate on all Your works and consider all your mighty deeds.
(Psalm 77:11 12)
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you,

The Process Of The ACO Process
The ACO process can be described as follows. Let the colony comprises of N ants. The ants start at
the home node, and then travel through the various layers from the п¬Ѓrst layer to the last/п¬Ѓnal
layer, and end at the destination node in each cycle or iteration. Each ant can select only one
node in each layer based on the state transition rule given by Eq. (2 9). The nodes chosen along
the path visited by an ant represent a candidate solution. For instance, a typical path visited by an
ant is depicted by thick lines in Fig. 2.2. This path represents the solution (x12, x23, x31, x45, x56,
x64). Once the path is completed, the ant deposits some pheromones on the path based on the local
updating rule given by Eq. (2 10). When all the ants... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After all the ants return back to the home node (nest), the pheromone information is updated based
on the following relation Simulated annealing duplicates a phenomenon in nature the annealing of
solids to optimize a complex system. Annealing refers to a process of heating a solid to a liquid
state and then cooling it down slowly such that thermal equilibrium is maintained. Atoms then
assume a nearly global minimum energy mode. In 1953 Metropolis created an algorithm in order
to simulate the annealing process. The algorithm simulates a small random displacement of an
atom that leads to a change in energy. If the change in energy is negative, the energy mode of the
novel configuration is lower and the novel configuration is accepted. If the change in energy is
positive, the novel configuration has a higher energy state; but, it may still be accepted based on
the Boltzmann probability factor [103 104]: 2.21 where is the Boltzmann constant and denotes the
current temperature. By examining this relation, we should note two things: the probability is
proportional to temperature, as the solid cools, the probability gets smaller; and inversely
proportional to , as the change in energy is larger the probability of accepting the changes gets
smaller. When used in engineering design, an analogy is made between energy and the objective
function. The design is begin with a high

Research Paper On Skateboards
Grace Byrd Mr. Kuder Physics 30 September 2016 Transportation: Skateboarding Skateboarders
have the reputation of being teenage delinquents causing havoc on society, but what many people
do not know is that their mode of transportation can be quite more efficient than yours.
Skateboarding requires skill, and incorporates the laws of physics while getting exercise and
reducing air pollutants. Since 2000 when skateboards became legal on city streets, urban places
such as Portland have developed pathways specifically for skaters. Skateboarding has become the
convenient trend to get to venues that are too close to drive, yet too far away to walk. Now that
skateboarders are allowed on city streets, more and more people are investing in skateboards,

Ideology Of American Identity
The meaning of what it means to be an American has been fundamentally consistent over the course
of our history. America is a collection of individual states and individual people united under the
great idea of liberty. The forefathers of this country first defined these ideas of American identity in
the Constitution in 1787. Since then, the scope of American identity has expanded from white men
to men of all color, and later women. If the American War for Independence was the event that
defined American identity, the American Civil War
was the first instance in which this identity was
challenged, and ultimately redefined. The newborn United Statesof America was in a state of
disarray following the American War for Independence. The people had just fought a war against
tyranny and corruption, which naturally raised concern over the government s role in the
sovereignty of independent states. This fear of corrupt government led to the failure of the Articles
of Confederation. Soon after the war ended, American politics revolved around two important
ideologies. Republicanism and Federalism. Although the Federalists as a political entity met their
demise at the end of John Adams presidency, their ideology influenced American politics well into
the Jacksonian Era. Republican ideals, such as actual representation and state sovereignty were
prevalent along with Federalist ideas such as general welfare and common defense. The American
tradition of political compromise was also

Future Trends in Crisis Intervention
Future Trends in Crisis Intervention Abstract Mental Health Paraprofessionals (MHPP) will work
with the client and family on behavioral issues that occur in the home, school, and community. The
MHPP serves on the treatment team and assists professional staff with the execution of the
treatment plan. They also assist with securing community services that might be available to the
client and the client s family. The purpose of intensive Mental Health Paraprofessional Intervention
is to enable the client to be maintained in the most normalized, least restrictive setting as possible,
and to prevent unnecessary, inappropriate institutionalization. This paper discusses an overview
paraprofessionals, the impact the paraprofessionals have on the... Show more content on

Because of the constant contact they are an invaluable member of the treatment team. With how
often CCP s get to observe patients on a daily basis they are able to pick up on behavior patterns
that other staff may not see. They are also able to see how various treatments affect a patient in
their daily lives. Some CCPs are designated to work one on one with a single client. A CCP in
this role is often assigned as such because a client has a particular need. Such needs could include
but are not limited to helping a client with severe cognitive or physical limitations, watching a
client whom is a danger to himself or others or working with a client whose treatment goals
involve intensive one on one work (Wyman, 2012). Impact There are many ways that the use of
counseling center paraprofessionals can benefit the organization. One of the many benefits of the
paraprofessional in the human service career field could be that they require less training than
typical clinician or other human service professional. That way the CCP is able to become
certified and begin work in a much shorter time frame then someone who is going through all the
required schooling and testing to become a licensed professional. Another aspect deals with the
lesser amount of pay therefore saving the organization money. With the way budgets are being cut it
is important to stretch every dollar as much as possible. Someone without the

Power And Lack Of The Restrictions Arguably the most shocking show of power and the lack of the restrictions he faced in the original documentary was when Theroux discovers that Savile has his personal details including home address Savile simply states, There is nothing I can t do and nothing I can t get . Another showcase of this level of power is within the report of another victim who was in hospital for burnt hands. Savile climb in her window and whilst assaulting her, made comments about her past teen pregnancy, showing that he had seen her medical records and knew her room number. The lack of restrictions or his way around them seems to be a trait he has developed a long time ago when footage of him being filmed unknowingly and stated that while he ran a nightclub I invented no tolerance, I was always in trouble for being too heavy handed... I d tie them up in the boiler room not throw them out... if a police officer ever came to me and you were a bit heavy with them last night , I d say your daughter comes in here, she s sixteen... I presume you d like me to look after her, if not tell me and I ll let them do whatever they want to her and I ve never altered . This shows early signs of his power and manipulation as he is clearly violating the rules and even the authority of the police don t question him, when asked about it claimed it was simply a figure of speech, although often refers to himself as the godfather (Larkin, 2015). They will speak on their experiences, hopes and fears as DACA recipients. The film will close with the plans of these organizations and students moving forward; what consequences they fear and what can be done by the average person to help those affected by this policy change. The spine of this story is the DACA students and their allies quest for help from the University of Michigan administration and their desparate rally against the potential deportation of hundreds of thousands of immigrants. The central tension lies here, between the administration, which has only voiced its support of DACA recipients but has done nothing, and the portion of the faculty and student body rallying to support their peers, loved ones, and thousands of others aided by DACA. This film also will employ the Performative Documentary Mode as it will address the audience emotionally and expressively, using interviews to attempt to draw the viewer into alignment with the film s subjective ideology, which is that DACA defendants are doing important work on campus with real concrete effects on fellow students and faculty, who are threatened by the repeal of DACA and that ending DACA is a dangerous political move for all ... He also uses colors to create water forms as seen behind the young character. Now, for the sky, he uses shades of white to magnificently differentiate the thick clouds from the light ones. He also uses this to create a source to light to the whole area. All these put together creates a splendid, realistic and familiar atmosphere for the viewers to relate with. Another attracting feature of this painting is that it appeals to your emotional side. Personally, I have an elder sister and we share a connection that is really rare. I have a picture of her, holding me as a baby with a huge smile on her face and this painting ultimately reminds me of that; giving me nothing but pleasant memories. That is what William is trying to do here. He uses the soothing and caring facial expression of the young lady together with the tenderness of the sleeping baby to capture his viewers and appeal to their caring and emotional side. • 5. How Did Southern Ocean Density Change The study includes the first detailed reconstruction of the Southern Ocean density of the period and identified how it changed as the Earth warmed. It suggests a massive reorganisation of ocean temperature and salinity, but finds that this was not the driver of increased concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The study, led by researchers from the University of Cambridge, is published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences . The ocean is made up of different layers of varying densities and chemical compositions. During the last ice age, it was thought that the deepest part of the ocean was made up of very salty, dense water, which was capable of trapping a lot of CO2. Scientists believed that a decrease in the density ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... We set out to test the idea that a decrease in ocean density resulted in a rise in CO2 by reconstructing how it changed across time periods when the Earth was warming, said the paper s lead author Jenny Roberts, a PhD student in Cambridge s Department of Earth Sciences who is also a member of the British Antarctic Survey. However what we found was not what we were expecting to see. In order to determine how the oceans have changed over time and to identify what might have caused the massive release of CO2, the researchers studied the chemical composition of microscopic shelled animals that have been buried deep in ocean sediment since the end of the ice age. Like layers of snow, the shells of these tiny animals, known as foraminifera, contain clues about what the ocean was like while they were alive, allowing the researchers to reconstruct how the ocean changed as the ice age was ending. They found that during the cold glacial periods, the deepest water was significantly denser than it is today. Therefore, in order for a company to compete directly with Mothercare, it would need to have enough capital to produce goods at near the same volume than the market leaders. • 9. The Human Body s Defense System The immune system is our body s defense system it is vital to our body s health and survival. We need the immune system to fight off bacteria, viruses, and other foreign, harmful substances as well as our own cells that have become bad or even cancerous. There are several building blocks that make up the system as a whole, each just as important as the next, that work hand in hand. This includes the lymphatic system, biological molecules, antibodies, white blood cells, the tonsils, thymus, bone marrow, and the spleen. The tonsils and thymus both create antibodies, while bone marrow (among other things) creates white blood cells, which are crucial to fighting off infection. The lymphatic system carries waste as well as nutrients, and lymph fluid throughout the body in the blood stream. The lymph nodes act as a strainer or filter, so when the lymph fluid travels through, it traps virus s, bacteria, and any other substance that s foreign to your body. These things are then destroyed by lymphocytes, which are specialized white blood cells. The spleen, which also works as a filter, gets rid of aged or damaged platelets and blood cells, and also destroys bacteria and other harmful or foreign substances. When an autoimmune disease occurs, it is because the body has triggered an inflammatory defense response when there is nothing to protect the body from. Inflammationis what happens when white blood cells and immune proteins are fighting off infection. The immune system ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

As Montressor is leading Fortunato through the catacombs towards his death, he is talking to Fortunato as if he is his friend but he foreshadows Fortunato s death multiple times which Fortunato does not seem to pick up because of how drunken he is. For example, when Fortunato s cough is getting worse, Montressor says You are a man to be missed. For me it is no matter. We will go back; you will be ill, and I cannot be responsible. Second example is when Montressor randomly tells the Montressor family s motto; Nemo me impune lacessit which translates to No one hurts me with impunity . Montessor s intentions are to punish Fortunato with impunity and he foreshadows it by telling him a motto about punishing with impunity without making it relate to himself. Due to the fact of how drunken Fortunato is, he does not notice what Montessor s intentions are which gives Montressor satisfaction because he knows his plan is working perfectly. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Testes are kept in the scrotum sac and are two oval shaped glands, about 8,5cm long and 2.5cm wide. A midline septum divides the scrotum into two halves and each testical is covered in two tunics; the Tunica vaginalis from the peritoneum and the Tunica albuginea which is a deeper tunic and a fibrous capsule. The septa from this layer then divides the testes into 250 300 wedge shaped compartments or lobules. It is in these lobules that seminiferous tubules are found, where sperm is made. Each lobule contains about 1 4 seminiferous tubules. The network into which seminiferous tubules empty is called the Rete testis. After which, the epididymis receives sperm from the rete testis network. The scrotum is a loose sac of skin and superficial fascia outside the abdominopelvic cavity, fascia, and smooth muscle that encloses and supports the testes outside the body at an optimum temperature for the production of sperm, about 3 degrees below body temperature. When the temperature is too low, the spermatic cord (This cord is surrounded by skeletal muscle and suspends the testes) tightens thus pulling the testes closer to the body. When the temperature is too hot, the cord relaxes resulting in the testes moving further away from the body. The muscles responsible for this are Cremaster muscles, which extend from the internal obliques and elevate the testes. Most men might have noticed that when this happens, the scrotum skin wrinkles. Let me now persuade you not to ask for your fee. If you still demand it, you did not do what you promised, therefore I owe you nothing. However, Socrates discredited this, However, not one of these things is true; nor, if you have heard from anyone that I attempt to teach men and require payment, is this true. (Plato, n.d.). Socrates irritated people by insisting things that could not be true. Critobulus, who was considered by many to be the most handsome man in Athens. For many, the name brings to mind images of madmen and dark, twisted tales of fate. In Poe s work, he had a way of impacting his readers deeply, through language choice, all, and elaborate imagery. In one of Poe s most acclaimed works, The Raven, unity of effect is achieved very well through skillful language choice. In stanza sixteen, Poe writes, By that Heaven that bends above us by that God we both adore Tell this soul with sorrow laden if, within the distant Aidenn, It shall clasp a sainted maiden whom the angels name Lenore. Simply put, Poe could ve chosen much more basic words that didn t create the same effect that these words did on the reader; but the idea that his soul is laden with sorrow, and Lenore shall be clasped , leaves us as the reader space to interpret his words and the... • 24. The Darkling Thrush by Thomas Hardy Essay The Darkling Thrush by Thomas Hardy The poem entitled The Darkling Thrush, written by Thomas Hardy, has a very appealing connotation. The work can be separated into two parts; the dismal part pertaining to the beginning of winter and the second part focusing on one small aspect of good in all of the dismal surrounding it. The general idea of the poem is that the dismal winter is approaching, but there are some incidences of goodness in this depressing time. The first part can be sectioned into the first and second stanzas. The poem opens with I leant upon a coppice gate. This is the moment when the author enters the small wood and begins to narrate his thoughts and feelings. The next ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The third stanza is where everything seems to turn around. As the narrator seems to be sitting in this small wood, they seem to see a thrush, which is a small bird. Lines eighteen through twenty seem to explain this very simply. They state, At once a voice arouse…in a full hearted evening song. This tells the reader that under all of this gloom, there is one living aspect and that is this bird. The fourth and final stanza tells the reader the narrator s new feelings on the winter months. This is best summed up in the last two lines of the poem. They state, Some blessed Hope, whereof he knew and I was unaware. This states that the narrator feels that winter will soon be ending and the tiny little thrush showed the narrator this. The narrator now knows that there is a hope of the summer months coming. The theme of the poem is to find good meaning in everything and that good is always present in everything. God does things for a reason and the good may not always be immediately visible, but it is there and it is our job to search it out. In the case of the poem, the narrator now knows that the warmer seasons will return to again bring joy and life to everyone. The Darkling Thrush by Thomas Hardy is a poem written in December of the year 1900. This coincides with the themes of the poem itself, being a sadness ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It is an opportunistic pathogen and it is commonly associated with nosocomial infections and infections of severely burned individuals, and are a leading cause of death in severe respiratory infections1. In particular, P. aeruginosa is the leading cause of chronic pulmonary infections and mortality in cystic fibrosis (CF) patients2. Infections with P. aeruginosa are difficult to eradicate, due to their high levels of antibiotic resistanceand growth in biofilms3. Bacterial communication occurs through a well developed system termed the quorum sensing (QS) system. Many of the challenges people face can be solved and overcome; however, others may be difficult or even impossible to solve. As people endure the challenges they cannot solve, it is important to remember that a positive attitude will help anyone successfully endure challenges they face in life. Research has confirmed and the book The Diary of Anne Frank and the speech Blood, Toil, Tears and Sweat by Winston Churchill are proof that the best way to respond to conflict is to maintain a positive attitude and focus on the task at hand. What they failed to realize is that science and religion don t answer the same questions. Society needs reason, a logical and practical understanding of the world, to answer the question hows of life. Yet, it also needs tradition, faithin religionor other core belief system, to answer the whys. As shown in Maimonides Intro to Mishnah Sanhedrin Chapter 10, Sacks, the Great Partnership, and the debate between Rabbi David Wolpe and Christopher Hitchens, reason provides explanations for the processes that allow the world to work the way it does, while tradition provides meaning in life and an understanding of purpose. According to Maimonides in the Intro to Mishnah Sanhedrin Chapter 10, there are three groups of people. The first two groups he describes make the mistake of interpreting tradition too literally. He said, their teachings when taken literally, seem so fantastic and irrational. Religion is not supposed to be understood on a basic level because its purpose is not to explain how the world works. When we hear of the Chinese Americans and Filipino Americans living in America today, not often do we see a connection between the two except for the fact that they come from Asia or have descendants from Asia. If we dive deeper into history, we will see that when the Chinese and the Filipinos first came to America, they had very similar purposes and goals in mind; one of them being make money and go back home. They were both determined to work hard for a country quite foreign to them but both were also targeted as the other side and a majority of them suffered from ill treatments like assault and blatant discrimination. They have the perception that morality is impossible without a belief in a higher power or that religion and morality cannot be separate. On the other hand, there are also many people who believe that the only real basis for moralityshould be separate from a belief in a god and from religionitself. So does society really need to believe in a higher power to have morals? The answer is no for a few simple reasons. Morality is not necessarily a part of religion, nor is religion the essence of anything moral. Religion and morality can be separable in many different aspects along with the fact that not everyone who is moral is religious. Society can in fact have moral values regardless of whether a belief in a higher power is present or not. It can be argued that someone who is religious has a higher sense of morality than someone who doesn t practice a religion at all, but does practicing a religion make you a better person than someone who doesn t? The world has a large number of people who do not practice any religion but still live moral lives. Annealing refers to a process of heating a solid to a liquid state and then cooling it down slowly such that thermal equilibrium is maintained. Atoms then assume a nearly global minimum energy mode. In 1953 Metropolis created an algorithm in order to simulate the annealing process. The algorithm simulates a small random displacement of an atom that leads to a change in energy. If the change in energy is negative, the energy mode of the novel configuration is lower and the novel configuration is accepted. If the change in energy is positive, the novel configuration has a higher energy state; but, it may still be accepted based on the Boltzmann probability factor [103 104]: 2.21 where is the Boltzmann constant and denotes the current temperature.
