Princess Mononoke, released in 1997, was the highest grossing film in Japan until Titanic came

and influences, one that relates Shintoism to Miyazaki s narratives by Oscar Garza, and another

First a quick summary: Princess Mononoke follows the last prince of the Emishi, Ashitaka, who
when defending his village from a demonic boar, is cursed to die similarly to the boar, where
hatred will consume him and split his soul apart. In order to lift the curse, Ashitaka travels West
and finds a human mining town on the outskirts of a divine forest and meets their leader, Lady
Eboshi, who are at war with the forest gods. He does not like the violence that the town people

genetic disease which can be inherited is Huntington Disease. Huntington Disease is an autosomal
dominant neurodegenerative disorder with midlife onset characterised by psychiatric, cognitive and

Huntington disease is an autosomal disease this means that the defective gene does not occur on
one of the sex chromosomes but instead it occurs on one of the other 22 chromosomes (known

passed on from a parent who has it, is necessary to cause their offspring to inherit the disease. If
one of the parents has the defective gene their offspring will have a 50/50 chance of inheriting that

every night. In America it is known, yet not recognized, that there is a big issue with the food
market; not all will agree though. When it comes to buying food, if the shopper lives below the
poverty line, then it is impossible to buy nutritional healthy food. Junk food and soda are
significantly cheaper than vegetables and water. It does not make sense that food that has to be
processed and takes extra effort to create would be cheaper than the food that simply had to be
picked. Yet, while there are people suffering, food is still thrown out excessively. It would not be
hard to change the system, but people have to start caring. But we can find a solution that reduces
wasteand prices of healthy food as well, but only if we first understand where the food is going
to begin with. Food is thrown out everyday, it is thrown out at excessive rates in developed
countries, yet at the same time there are children and people that go hungry every night.
According to the United Nations Environment Programme, Americans waste up to 30% of food or
$48.3 billion on food by throwing it out. It is also estimated that one third of all the food produced
