There are many different things you could discuss when talking about the Western era and I
wanted to discuss the train robberies by comparing a film and a piece of artwork. Although both
The Great Train Robbery by Edwin S Porter and Wilcox Train Robberyby Andy Thomas convey
how the west was a place where you did what you had to do to survive.Edwin S Porter emphasizes
the train robberyand how people would go to any length to get the money they needed to survive,
whereas Andy Thomas emphasizes on the violence that the robbers endued on the train. When
the group of train robbers robbed the train they did it in a more of a reckless manner while still
being intelligent about robbing the train.The ways that they were reckless were holding a man
at gunpoint right in front of a police officer.This was reckless because if the officer had looked
behind the door then they would have been busted and the robbery would have been
compromised. Another way that they showed recklessness was that they forced everyone out of
the passenger train car and out onto the tracks. This was reckless because if anyone had seen
people being forced out of their train cars then they would have known something bad was

Friedrich Engels decided to publish a manifesto after sitting down and sharing ideas for a period

the principal author stated that escaping from alienation required a revolution. That was the only
