The Political Shift in America
The Political Shift in America It is 2014 and since the beginning of the millennium there has been
a major shift in America s political ideology and demographics, more so than in any set period of
time. America which has historically been very conservative, has started to become more liberally
made evident by the results of the last two elections. Although America s governmentis based on a
less centralized system and free market, Americans have seemed to start embracing things like big
government and a stricter market. Americans are also starting to think different on social issues
such as homosexuality and drug usage. America has also experienced a change in its
demographics as minorities like Asians and Hispanics continue to grow while whites are,
percentage wise, starting to make up a smaller part of Americas population. Along with a shift in
ideology and change in demographics, technology and communication has advanced greatly
making the world a much more connected place. Because of this connectivity people are also
beginning to be influenced by foreign ideas that are not familiar to most Americans such as
universal healthcare. Overall, because of factors such as foreign influences due to technology and
changing demographics, America has become less conservative and more liberal.
Conservative by definition means holding to traditional attitudes, values, and to be cautious about
change or innovation, typically in relation to politics or religion (Oxford

Slider Hitch Research Paper
When you need to tow in your short bed truck, but do not want to give up maneuverability, you
need to consider installing a slider hitch. The B W Companion Slider 5th Wheel Hitch will give
you all the room you need. It is designed to provide you with 12 inches of slide, so you have
plenty of room when you use your fifth wheel trailer. It is completely removable, which means you
can convert your truckback to a level bed truck whenever you need to haul things in the back and
not worry about a hitch taking up space. This hitch is mounted under the bed and uses the B W
Turnoverball under bed mounting system. It does not mount to the rails, so that leaves them free. It
will automatically latch in both slide directions. This eliminates the need

Constructing and Reconstructing Essay
1.Woody Holton reveals the motives of the Founding Fathers depend widely on individual
judgment of the terms under the Articles of Confederation. Holton claims that historians
excessively rely on sources by the Federalist which reveals a prejudiced Federalist view (Hollitz,
110). Woody Holton uses the writings of James Madisonand Alexander Hamiltonto expose the
Founding Fathers deeper motives in writing the Constitution. The Founding Fathers were frustrated
because state legislatures had been given in to popular demands to reduce taxes and increase the
money supply (for relief from the recession). While citizens were behind on their taxes; states were
unable to pay interest on bonds, which crippled the government operations... Show more content on

The Federalist Paper No. 10 argues that a republic is capable of controlling the effects of faction,
more than a democracy. The reason is that a system of representation is more capable of
protecting the rights of the individuals, as well as being able to balance the needs of the public
good. James Madison views many advantages of a republic over a pure democracy. A republic,
Madison writes, is different from a democracy because its government is placed in the hands of
delegates, and as a result of this, it can be extended over a larger area. The idea is that in a large
republic there will be more fit characters to choose from for each delegate (Hollitz, 106). The
chosen elites as representatives of the people will be more helpful to the public good than by
the people themselves. Also, the fact that each representative is chosen from a larger number of
citizens should make the vicious arts (Hollitz, 107). For instance, in a larger republic a corrupt
delegate would need to bribe many more people in order to win an election than in a small
republic, making it more difficult for unworthy candidates. Second, the same advantage which a
republic has over a pure democracy in controlling the effects of faction by a larger over a small
republic (Hollitz, 107). Madison explains the failure of democracy for not understanding the need
of the public good. Another flaw that Madison identifies in a democracy is that it allows
individuals to be their own

The Impact Of The Positive Impacts On Accounting Practice
HOW THE ASCENT OF THE RICH IMPACTED ACCOUNTING PRACTISE AND THE
PROFESSION. The essay to discuss how the ascent of the rich impacted the accounting practice
and profession, as the ascent of the rich refers to a process of individuals or countries to become
rich and it leads to the positive impactation to the accounting practice and profession in the world of
today. Accounting practice refers to the process of recording of financial transactions, summarizing,
and presenting the information in various reports and analyses, also it is a profession which
comprises of individuals with formal education for which to complete various financial tasks in an

Through the individuals have more wealth, more new business were formed and some people
were expanding their business in the economy. Due to that, the accounting profession was
impacted positively as the unskilled people with wealth were looking forward for the accounting
profession to manage their investments as the owners or the managers were not fully skilled to
operate the business. Accounting profession was now in high demand as the most people in the
society were now rich and in need of the accounting practice such as auditing their books and also
financial advices. In addition to the above, the eruption of many business in the economy also
created a positive impact to the accounting practice. Due to the different needs which were
demanded by the different industries, it leads the accounting profession to broaden and take into
considerations other possible practice other than their normal process of book keeping control.
And a profession being broaden, it is a positive impact to the accounting practice as they will add
skills, tasks and knowledge to their current accounting profession and it is a good impacts as it

The Soviet Union Won Four Gold Medals
:
James walks into the Olympic Center Stadium, feeling a brisk of cold air hit him as he sees the
clean sheet of ice. He looks around to see Americans, his people, laughing anxiously around him
and others taunting their elite rivals. Must have drank too much, he thought. He walks down the
stairs, a classic Vienna Beef hotdog Chicago Style on one hand, and his ticket held in the other.
27E it read. James walked 12 more steps down and found his seat. When he finally reached his
spot, he sat down and relaxed.
This was going to be one of the biggest games of the year, James thought. The Soviet Union won
four gold medals since the 1960 s, and the United States, on the other hand, was not doing so good
themselves. In fact, the whole past ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

aspects; assuming they would win the hockey match. It s not that Vladimir was in hopes to see
America struggle, but he wanted to reassure his passion for the success of his country. O Party
of Lenin, the strength of the people, To Communism s triumph lead us on!, he sang to himself,
how the national anthem of his beautiful union spoke to him. His wife and him stood at the
entrance of the stadium for a while, so she could reapply her bold red lipstick, and highlight her

Polygyny And Polygamy
Marriage; what is the first thing that comes to mind? For many its monogamy, but what is
monogamy? Monogamy means that an individual has one spouse at a time (Lancy, 2015)
however; in many cultures monogamy is not the first thing that comes to mind. There are
different types of marriage in fact there are 2 types monogamy as stated earlier and Polygamy.
Polygamy has two subsections within it which are polyandry defined as one wife with two or
more husbands or polygyny defined as one husband with two or more wives (Lancy, 2015).
Within this paper there are three groups being compared and contrasted who all part take in
polygynous marriages. The three groups are the Bedouin Arab men, the Cree and Saulteaux bands,
and the Shirazi from the Comoro Islands. Polygyny is quite complex, it is different for every
group and there are factors that must be considered to each group before going along with a
polygynous marriage.
The first study that will be discussed is the Bedouin Arabs; an Interview with 100 Bedouin Arab
husbands, wives, children, and extended family members of polygynous families in the Negev of
Israel (Slonim Nevo, Al Krenawi and Yuval Shani, 2008) was conducted. For this study they were
all chosen to self report their family dynamics. The reports suggested that a distinct contrasts [was]
found between familial relationships in high functioning families and low functioning families.
Differences occurred between husbands of low and high functioning families

The Bolsheviks
Lawyers would say that Europe, Asia, and the United States of America are completely different.
However, from the point of view of the citizens, the similarities in their daily lives are numerous,
even if some fundamental differences remain. To begin with the most obvious similarity and
example: in the USA, as well as in parts of Europe, citizens use a single currency, identical to the
currency of their neighboring States. Just as in Europe, in the USA, several decisions remain the
responsibility of the states, such as highway code, certain taxes, social welfare, minimum wages,
and certain areas of justice. At the political level, some plea for further independence of the States
in relation to the federal government, while others are bidding... Show more content on

It should not be unforeseen that the Bolsheviks worked hard to safeguard that any person
potentially antagonistic to them did not retain arms. The first Soviet gun controls were enacted
during the Russian Civil War, as Czarists, Western troops, and national independence movements
fought the central Red regime. Firearm registration was instituted on April 1, 1918. In October
1918, the Council of People s Commissars (the government) ordered the renunciation of all
firearms, ammunition, and sabers. As has been the case in nearly every nation where firearms
registration has been introduced, registration proved a preamble to confiscation. Excused from
the confiscation order, however, were affiliates of the Communist Party. A 1920 decree imposed
a obligatory minimum penalty of six months in prison for non Communist possession of a
firearm, even where there was no felonious intent. After the Red triumph in the Civil War, the
firearm laws were consolidated in a Criminal Code, which if broken, unauthorized possession of
a firearm would be punishable by rigid labor. A 1925 law made unauthorized possession of a
firearm punishable by three months of hard labor, plus a fine of 300 rubles (equal to about four
months wages for a highly paid construction worker). Stalin apparently found little need to
alternate the weapons control structure he had inherited. This chapter of Lethal Laws summarizes
the genocide perpetrated by Stalin from 1929 to 1953, starting with his efforts to collectivize
farming by destroying the class of property owning farmers. Altogether, about twenty million
people were murdered, worked to death in slave labor camps, or deliberately starved to death by
Stalin s government. Stalin s successful campaign of genocide against the Kulaks and against
dissident Communists served as a model for

Kubbrick s Theory Of Brinksmanship
An alternate title for Kubrick s film was Dr. Doomsday or: How to Start World War III Without
Even Trying. A title bluntly stating what the actual title infers that America and the Soviet Union
had both taken brinksmanship way too far, and were both one slip of the hand away from killing
off the entire human race. By portraying the film in a very comedic fashion, Kubrick was able to
show just how ridiculous it was that we allowed the nuclear clock to come only one minute from
midnight.
Imagine two men playing chicken both driving as fast as they can (obviously in muscle cars) set on
a collision course for each other. This encapsulates the theory of brinksmanship, or trying to achieve

Strangelove is the commentary between General Turgidson and President Muffley. In one line
Turgidson says to Muffley, Mr. President, I m not saying we wouldn t get our hair mussed. But I
do say... no more than ten to twenty million killed, tops. In this scene, General Turgidson is
trying, unsuccessfully, to convince President Muffley to send all of his nuclear arsenal
following the plane sent by General Ripper. To which President Muffley naturally responds, I
will not go down in history as the greatest mass murderer since Adolf Hitler! If you have seen the
movie, you know that Turgidson delivers these lines in an optimistic, bordering on giddy tone.
Moreover, Turgidson s tone not only exemplifies the absurdity of the whole situation, but also
brings up a very interesting point about the power of a nuclear bomb. Calling ten to twenty
million people dead acceptable losses is pretty unbelievable when re examined. That s one third
of the total lives lost in WWII in the blink of an eye. Really, the only reason ten to twenty million
dead could ever be considered acceptable, is when you are dealing with nuclear warfare something
easily capable of wiping all life from the face of the earth. This comical commentary between
Turgidson and Muffley shows just how abstract the idea of killing that many people must have been
to our leaders, and just how distanced from their constituents

E. J. Pratt s Involvement In The Great War
The Great War was a long period of loss, tension, and emotions. For Canada, world war one was
one of the bloodiest conflicts they ve ever encountered with about 60,000 casualties. Canada s
involvement in the war was only because at the time they were still technically part of the British
empire, which just deepened a divide between French and English Canada. Although this patriotic
conflict was not included in the history books, it was still an underlining tension. E.J. Pratt s
work is inspired by human struggle and peril so the Great War and the Canadian nationalism
rising influenced his writing. For instance, when the great war finally ended, Pratt was able to
capture the unease feeling and stunned relief in his poem, The Shark by making the people feel
like the shark was going to attack them at any moment, so when the shark swam away back into
the ocean they felt relieved. Therefore, E.J. Pratt is a master when it comes to understanding
people s feelings, emotions and being able to connect with them on a deeper level.
E.J. Pratt (1882 1964), son of Reverend John Pratt and Fanny Pitts Knight was born February 4th,
1882 in Western Bay, Newfoundland, married Viola Whitney and together they had a daughter.
Pratt is considered to be one of Canada s most important narrative poets. E.J. Pratt got his education
in English and psychology from Methodist College, Victoria College, and the University of
Toronto. Along with the honor of... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Shark captures the tone and atmosphere once the great war was over. The Shark talks about the
tension and the sudden relief that everyone felt, although there are many poems about the war there
is none that talks about the aftermath, which makes The Shark different than any other poems
about the great war. Therefore, I believe The Shark by E.J. Pratt is a magnificent poem that truly
captures the atmosphere after world war

Chemistry Of My Long Term Memory
1.I am storing chemistry in my long term memory. General Chemistry just had a test last week so I
am attempting to store new information, specifically from Chapter 10 tilted Chemical Bonding. We
have covered bond theories and have worked extensively on the Lewis Dot structure. The Lewis
Dot structure represents the boding of valenceelectrons, we represent this bonding using dot
structures. There are different types of chemical bonds that must be represented with their very own
dot structure. We are also learning when a bond needs a resonance and the different shapes a
chemical bondcan create, specially electron and molecular geometry. I am trying to store this
information in my long term memory for two specific reasons: testing and... Show more content on

After rehearing this information, it will be stored in long term memory. Information enters long
term memory, according to the Modal Model, in a series of steps. First, information enters sensory
memory where is can do one of two things, either be forgotten or transferred. In sensory memory,
information is either encoded and transferred or forgotten immediately. Abon transfer, information
enters short term memory where once again it can be transferred or forgotten. Information can
either be forgotten due to decay, information flows away, or interference, when new or old
information interferes with your memory. With rehearsal, information can be transferred to long
term memory. Chemical bonding will be encoded through various steps. The bonding information
went through sensory memory where it was encoded immediately. It will pass through short term
memory with practice and rehearsal. I have been rehearsing by creating note cards that I use to help
me learn various terms and dot structures. I have also been doing homework, which gives me many
practice problems that force me to go over the material well, exposing me to different circumstances
I must learn. These problems will surely help encode the information and eventually lead to
transferring the information to long term memory. Two techniques that will help encode the
information into long term memory is distributing which is part

pencils. Balls will be starting to be kicked and thrown. Brick towers will be getting larger than the
ones they were building; also they will start to experiment with liquids in play by pouring.
At 3 years Children start to become more independent. Their moving and climbing skills will be
coming stronger as they start to run, jump, catch, walk up and down stairs etc. They will start to try
and dress and undress themselves but may need some assistance.
At 4 years boys motor skills are more developed in areas such as throwing and aiming, building,
climbing, pedalling, etc. Whereas a girls are more develop within the finer motor skills such as
the use of scissors, holding a pencil to draw and colour and also when threading small beads or
sewing stitches.
At 5 years Children with have more pencil control and will begin to copy letters and shapes and
start to draw people. Ball games will develop with more structure as they begin to kick with an
aim. They will begin to learn to hop on one foot, then the other also to skip.
At 6 years dressing becomes independent as they learn to do buttons, laces, etc. writing becomes
more fluent as copying letter shapes has progressed to words and sentences with greater pencil
control. A childâ€TMs confidence would have increased when playing outside in climbing,
jumping from heights and riding a bike.

The Impacts of Tourism on the Local Community in Tung Chung
Intro
Tung Chung is an area which is located on the Lantau Island. Right after the opening of the Hong
Kong International Airport in 1998, it was developed as part of the Airport Core Programme. The
government decided to make Tung Chung the first new town on an outlying island. First, the
government began with the infrastructure there, housing is also built to attract more people move
in. In 1998, the Tung Chung line of MTR was opened. It provided a much easier access of the
region and thus rose the willingness of people to visit. A few more years later, people discovered
the potential of Tung Chung to be a tourist spot, as there are a number of tourist attractions like the

1.2 Solid waste
If noise is not a big problem, how about solid waste? We know that tourists tend to consume in their
journey. Will the waste they create be a problem to the Tung Chung community? 33
To be a well designed tourist spot, of course you have to take care of every basic need of the
tourists. It includes the provision of food and beverage. However, the catering sector is one of the
largest origins of waste. It produces considerable amount of food waste, disposable tableware and
packaging everyday. I observed that there are a lot of restaurants in Citygate and the Ngong Ping
village. I believe the amount of waste they produce everyday should be considerable too. We can
see that it is one of the ways how tourism boosts consumption. and finally leads to the problem of
solid waste. However, after my observation, I do not think this particular problem causes huge
impacts to the local community. The government and the developer of the attractions have done a
great job on waste management. They collect and transfer the waste in an efficient way, which
makes me unable to obtain proof of the solid waste problem. The hygienic condition of the streets
and public areas was satisfactory too. I only saw rubbish on the bench in the bus terminus. 182

George Eliot s Silas Marner as a Fairy Tale Essay
George Eliot s Silas Marner as a Fairy Tale In the novel Silas Marner by George Elliot, there are
realistic and fairytale characters. It always ends in a happy ending. Fairytales always represent
good over evil and have a timeless quality and a universal quality. Moreover they contain magic
and it is as if in the story that Silas s transformation seems magical. In the novel there is a superior
power operating in the book. Also fairytales have stock characters (e.g. evil/hero). In addition to
this, in the novel there are partly realistic and fairytale characters. In the book there are fairytale
characters. These consist of Eppie, Aaron, William Dane and Dunsey. They have the same qualities.

In any book the stories might be different but all the fairytale characters are similar. Silas has
many different aspects; he is part real and part fairytale. He is an unlikely hero and his
personality is by no means dynamic or fascinating. The treatment he receives in Raveloe makes
us symphonise with him. In the novel he is referred to as the miser Rumple stiltskin . In his
appearance he closely resembles a gnome, as he is short, skinny and physically feeble. But on
the other hand he has lost his faith in God and mankind because of his ill treatment. Although we
symphonise with him, some of his characteristics are repellent. He works like an insect, he is a
miser and his lack off generosity is not very nice. His interest and skill in herbs introduces
another aspect to his character because when he treated Sally Oats it shows realism as he cares
and has emotions. Moreover there is like a magic wand in Silas. Him being in an epileptic fit is
like being touched by the invisible wand of catalepsy which shows that he is not realistic but a
fairytale character. Dolly is the other partly realistic and fairytale character. She behaves as a
Godmother to Eppie like in the fairytale book Cinderella and she is a fully rounded person. But in
fact she is a godmother. She is very positive, down to earth, practical and very

Compare Relationships Between Romeo and Juliet and Between...
In Two of Shakespeare s most noted plays Romeo and Juliet and Othello Shakespeare explores the
essence of tragedy. How regardless of what measures they take my the nature of the play both
relationships are doomed before they flourish, The extent in witch obsession clouds the minds of
the luckless heroes and by what extent the women seem to be more in control of the men than the
other way round.
In the plays Romeo and Juliet and Othello by William Shakespeare, Shakespeare uses the concept
of a tragic hero to create two characters who by the nature of a tragedy are doomed to fail in their
relationships and endeavors. They conform to the basic archetype of tragic hero by; being male,

Analysis Of The Article Why Women Smile By Amy Cunningham
Syllabus Assignment
For my syllabus assignment, I found a fascinating article titled Why Women Smile by Amy
Cunningham. This is a great piece that looks at how women s emotions are still heavily
influenced by society, whether its suppressing certain emotions or exaggerating false ones. While
this article was written over a decade ago, I feel like the points brought up and the overall message
are still very relevant in todays culture and society.
The author, Amy Cunningham, is a freelance author and editor based out of New York. She
specializes in writing about healthy living, which is what intrigued me as to what drove her to
write this article. To prepare research for this piece, she interviewed and studied psychologist and
facial expression expert Paul Ekman. This article was originally written for a magazine titled Lear
s, which is no longer around but many of her other works have been published in popular
magazines such as Glamour Magazine and The Washington Post s magazine. To date, Cunningham
is still receiving checks from an academic press because of how well the article teaches in college
courses.
In the article, Cunningham brings up many compelling points that help drive her argument on the
reasons as to why women smile. One of the main points she touches on is the biological aspect of
it. She relates it to monkeys and how they use a smile in their environment to show that they are not
going to cause harm to anyone around them and that they are passive. This helps

Oil Sand Meaning
The literal meaning of this statement is Alberta contains more than expected amounts of oil sands,
which the world is unaware of. The oil sands make up most of what Alberta is today; however, only
a little bit about how much oil sand Alberta has is shown to the outsiders. But, there is extra oil
beneath the surface of the land than what the audience expects. Notley states There is always more
than you suspect beneath the surface (3). The intended response towards the literal meaning of this
statement is that the audience would become very informed since the speaker provides information.
From the reference to the statement, readers learn that there is more oil than what they suspected in

Historically, executions have been around for a long time. The first established death penalty laws

Most easily understood when you take a life, you lose your life an eye for an eye. Nonetheless, over
time people have started humanizing the situation and creating controversy. The Fifth, Eighth, and

First of all, There is strong evidence that global sea level is getting higher and will continue to rise
during this century. There are some human activities, such as burning of fossil fuels and cutting
down tropical forests, have gained atmospheric absorption of heat trapping gases releases enormous
amounts into the air. It means that the Earths surface temperature increases, and the oceans absorb
that additional heat. There is no doubt that when the ocean is warmer, large ice formations, like
glaciers and the polar ice caps, naturally melt back faster and add more water to the oceans. The
melting ice caps are raising sea levels at an accelerating rate. According to Howard (2015), A

Leisure Time Is An Important Tool Of Social Control
Introduction
Leisure time itself can be defined in many ways. According to Cordes (2003), the meaning of
leisure varies among cultures and that there is little agreement about its meaning and
implications... some see leisure as freedom from work, while others view it as an important tool of
social control or a symbol of one s status . We have all experienced leisure in our lifetime. We have
all taken part in activities we deem fun, exciting, or relaxing. The purpose of reflecting upon the
various ways we spend our free time is to provide reflection upon our lives. Free time is valued,
and by reflecting upon what we do with our time can help us find insight on whether or not our
free time is spent wisely. As I reflect upon my life experience in relation to Nash s Paradigm of
Free Time, I hope to gain more insight on how I have been spending my free time. I expect to
reflect upon the less productive times and make a change on how to spend my free time better.
Injury to Society Injury to society includes delinquency and crime. When I was in high school,
around 15 or 16 years old, I used to shoplift things from the store. While I did do these things out
of boredom, I had mostly stolen things for the monetary value. My leisure time was spent mostly
at the mall, with other friends who would steal as well. Eventually I did get caught, and fortunately
I was let off with just a warning. After that, I never stole again. The effect of me stealing as a teen

Essay On Dye Sensitized Solar Cells
In 1991, a major breakthrough has come in the field of solar photovoltaic known as dye
sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) [1]. This kind of solar cells possess low cost and simple functioning
together with their advantageous characteristics such as lightweight, flexible, low toxicity and good
performance in diverse light conditions [2]. Usually DSSC s consists of dye adsorbed
nanostructured metal oxidefilm serving as a photoanode, a Pt coated counter electrode and liquid
electrolyte injected between them [3]. Light irradiate on the nanostructured metal oxide film causes
photo excitation of the dye molecules by exciting electrons which are then injected into the
conduction band of the semiconductor and fast transferred to the external circuit... Show more

Thus, numbers of articles devoted to ZnO photoelectrode with the aim to enhance efficiency by
reducing the charge carrier recombination, and improving electrical/optical performance [9 12]. In
this regard, doping is the most advantageous approach to modify ZnO structures. Different kind of
metals such as lanthanum [13], aluminum [14], tin [15], magnesium [16] and titanium [17] has
been widely investigated as effective dopants in ZnO photoelectrode for improving the
performance. Moreover, earlier reports on the DSSC have proven that the active area is directly
proportional to the power conversion efficiency [18]. Therefore, we attempted to incorporate
indium into ZnO to improve above cited aspects with an ideal working area (0.25cm2) of
photoanode in DSSC. Indium (In3+) was chosen as dopant, because it has a noteworthy
contribution in transparent conducting oxide materials and much work devoted in indium doped
ZnO as a transparent conducting oxide film [19 20]. Owing to their remarkable properties such as
high electronegativity, minute native lattice distortion with preferable chemical stability make
indium as suitable donor than other elements for finding high quality ZnO based transparent
conducting oxide with an excellent conductivity in DSSCs [21]. Rama Krishna Chava et al. used In

In the spring of 1973 the Wailers returned to London to start their first three month tour of Britain.
When they returned to Jamaica, Bunny decided to quit touring and was replaced by Joe Higgs.
The Wailers then traveled to the US where they were to open 17 shows for a black act. They were

One of the early adopters (Realisers) of the shift in the Manufacturing Setting from Mass

this fact including the one by Michael T. Fralix, a professor from MC State University who points
out the shift in the expectations of the customers and how developed countries (especially the US)

Galarza interacts with Don Catarino, Gustavo, Jose, his mother, and his aunt in an enormously

level of respect seems to be rarely visible in most parts of our society. Personally, I believethis
moral s inclusion in the book is vital because it demonstrates to youth and adolescent readers the
proper way that adults should be treated. While the book does an excellent job of showing the
determination and labor of the men of
Hispanic households, it particularly does well in showcasing the immense difficulty that
women of the time period were faced with. For example, Ernesto s mother does not have his
father to assist in raising him, therefore, she lives with her sister and his husband as a result. This
shows the mother s priorities are aligned because rather than be ashamed of having to seek
refuge with a family member, she simply puts her son s comfort and life above all and swallows
her pride. Furthermore, as a woman of the household she helps create multiple meals every day

Little Women By Louisa May Alcott
In her novel Little Women, Louisa May Alcott delves into the social expectations placed on
American women in the mid nineteenth century. Alcott explores the different impacts of these
expectations through the experiences of the four March sisters as they transition from childhood to
adulthood. As she follows the life of the girls as they struggle to balance the new world of social
elegancies with the morals ingrained in them by their mother, Alcott challenges these social
expectations and highlights the dangers they present. The struggles Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth face as
they attempt to integrate into society, although all different, calls into question the strict gender
roles of the time and their functionality in the real world.
During the mid nineteenth century there were strict ideologies and guidelines held for women
that they were supposed to follow. These expectations were especially strict for the women in the
upper and middle classes. Women of the time period were expected to be elegant, beautiful,
innocent, and domestic. The standard model for an ideal woman was exemplified in the idea of
the True Woman. A True Women was a pillar of moral strength and virtue while also being

Canto V Analysis
SUMMARY
Dante and Virgil have just left limbo, the first circle of hell, and are now on their way into the
second circle of hell, where hell really begins. It is here that Dante first witnesses the punishment
brought upon the sinners. They encounter Minos, the beast judge who blocks the way into the
second circle. He examines each soul as they pass through and determines which circle of hell they
must go to by winding his tail around himself. Minos warns Dante of passing through but Virgil
silences him. Dante encounters a dark place completely sucked of any light and filled with noises
more horrible than a tempest and sees the souls being whirled around in a ... Show more content on

TONE This Canto describes the first real level of hell. The canto is very poetic and makes use of
many similes, metaphors, and adjectives. There is also no shortage of hyperboles. The canto
begins by describing the qualities of the second circle by describing the voice of the damned rose in
a bestial moan, (v 3) referring to the damned rose as those lovers driven by passion who were
condemned for their acts of adultery.
In verse 25, Dante describes the choir of anguish to be like a wound with a simile. Next, by
using a metaphor, he describes the fate of the adulterous sinners and their punishment as being
battered eternally by the winds and storms of hell, as they were figuratively battered by the winds
of passion in their lives on earth. He describes with a simile how as cranes go over sounding their
harsh cry, / leaving the long streak of their flight in air, / so come spirits, wailing as they fly (v 46
48). Finally, he makes use of another simile to iterate how after Francesca tells of her tale of love,
Dante faints and falls, as a corpse might fall, to the dead floor of hell (v 140).
IMAGERY This canto begins to delve into the more sublime, dark, and mysterious. Words like,
moaning, screeching, and lamenting give this canto a sad and depressed feeling. Spatially, I can
imagine a dark, black whole type of place that seems like a vacuum. A lot of the words refer to dark
colors and describe the

Death Penalty Is Wrong
Furthermore, the death penalty should be dismantled because research has shown that criminals
have been wrongly convicted and sentenced to the death penalty when later evidence comes up that
proves their innocence. To illustrate,
Since 1973, at least 121 people have been released from death row after evidence of their
innocence emerged. During the same period of time, over 982 people have been executed. Thus,
for every eight people executed, we have found one person on death row who never should have
been convicted. These statistics represent an intolerable risk of executing the innocent ( Innocence ).
To have even one person sentenced to death, let alone convicted of a crime and locked away for life
is unacceptable. There should be additional ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For instance, Examining the death penalty from a human rights perspective not only highlights the
impact of denying the most basic right on all other rights but also demonstrates why the only
solution to the death penalty is to permanently end its use. If the injustices and practicalities
associated with capital punishment could somehow be erased the costs cut, the racial and class
biases removed, and all possibilities for error eliminated the government still cannot do it because it
violates fundamental human rights. A human rights based approach does not take issue with the
accuracy, technique, or timeliness of an execution. It provides a strict standard with which to say
simply and unequivocally the death penalty is wrong ( The Death Penalty Is a Human Rights
Violation ). Even with eliminating the major sticking points that most opponents use, as stated
above, to justify why the death penalty should be abolished, there still leaves the moral and ethical
stance that the death penalty is plain and simply against the basic human right to life. Equally

Differences Between The Tempest Play And Movie
The Tempest Play v. Movie
The play The Tempest is a rather difficult play to follow in its written format. You have to
carefully keep track of who is talking to have a good understanding of what is occurring in the
play itself. Just like with movies it is easier to understand a play that is being portrayed by actors
on stage because you have the ability to view who is speaking with visual cues. Comparing the
written second scene in Act One of The Tempestwritten by William Shakespeare and the movie
from 2010 which was directed by Julie Taymor there are some differences like lines being
removed, lines being shifted, and overall easiness to follow.
During Act One, Scene Two of the play we start out by noticing that one of the main characters,
Prospero, has had a gender swap, which changes the name to Propsera throughout the play.
Starting out that is the only major difference that you can see, however the first line difference
that has been skipped occurs when Miranda says, Wherefore did they not that hour destroy us ,
which was completely skipped in the movie adaptation (Shakespeare, 12). In some instances, the
director might have opted to make the movie a little bit more children friendly by removing
lines from Ferdinand (page 24 line 448) talking about Miranda s virginity (00:26:48 00:26:59).
Some interpretations of the play by the actors and or directors that make the movie easier to
follow is when Ferdinand draws his sword, which he does after Prospera raises her

How might the business you have chosen improve the way that it motivates its staff?

This will cause staff to start their work early as they are then already at work. A consequence of this
is increasing their employee s attendance and punctuality therefore productivity increases.
Another advantage of offering free food to Jaguar Land Rover staff is that they are encouraged to
do overtime. This is because their dinner would already be paid for. This can cause employees to
do extra work and increase sales. Resulting in the business to gain more profit.
However, offering employees free food can be a weakness in some aspects. For example, jaguar can
lose money by offering their employees free food. This is because jaguar land rover in castle
Bromwich has over 2500 employees which would then result it being very expensive for them all
to take advantage of this motivational method. Moreover causing Jaguar Land Rover to lose profit
and therefore won t be able to afford the equipment to not only make cars but specialised ones.
Another disadvantage of offering free food to Jaguar Land Rover staff is that the company may be
open to health risks. This is because the chemicals and fumes, machinery and being round dust
could create health hazards within the food content being served. The consequences of this are,
more employees will take time off work to recover and reduce the amount of cars produced.
I conducted some primary research and asked 5 members of staff what new methods of motivation
they would like to see jaguar adapt to

Grammar Usage And English Class
Introduction
Grammar is the basis for the English language, yet is not uncommon to approach a teenager, or
even an adult that has a genuine fear and even a distaste for grammar. While they likely know the
value of such a construct, the endless rules and complex exceptions to grammar rules has created a
sense of dread among many learners. Yet, it is not only the student that shies away from grammar
conversations, but many teachers themselves feel inadequate in the grammar usage, both in
speaking and writing, as well as their assessment of student writing. With the national push to
embed writing across the curriculum, many teachers feel ill prepared to assess students on their
grammar. While they may concede it is important, many teachers would argue the place for
grammar is only in the English classroom. However, this poses the question, if students isolate
grammar usage to their English class, how will they be equipped to transfer correct usage skills in
their future careers which will likely be outside the field of English?
There is little academic research available on professional attitudes about grammar from high school
teachers. This study is an attempt to examine the statistical merit of grammar attitudes. This paper
includes a literature review on the current state of attitudes of grammar among English teachers,
college professors, and employers. Then, this paper will discuss results of an Effective Instruments
Survey, henceforth knowns at the Grammar Attitudes

Analysis Of Slavery In The North By Sh White
Slavery in the North
Before reading Slavery in the North by Shane White I was uneducated about slavery that occurred
in the northern United States. In school we are taught about how bad the slaves in the south were
treated and it never occurred to me that there was slavery taking place in the north as well. In the
article Slavery in the North Shane White uses slave housing, cultural freedom and control over
their own lives to show how slavery in the south was worse than slavery in the north. When many
people think of slavery they think of thousands African Americans working hard, long hours in a
field under the scorching sun only to end the day by sleeping in a dirt home; where the bed was a
dirty floor or if they were lucky a wooden board

Political Islam And The Islamic Islam
Political Islam is a term that was coined inside the scholarly realm to allude to the more extensive
group of political frameworks that are Islam oriented. The greater part of the states that draw on the
Islamic instructions to influence political and social elements of the general public are said to be
practicing political Islam. The vast majority of the practices will look for direction from the
Islamic conventions and the Muslim scriptural foundation to settle on choices that influence the
whole state and how it identifies with whatever is left of the world. While the term may not be as
old, political Islam or Islamism are old ideas going back to the 1920s. Gatherings, for example, the
Egypt s Muslim Brotherhood in 1927, are a portion... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The thought borne of philosophies that were presented by any semblance of Maulana Maudoodi

while there are some subtle contortions particularly with terrorism. Political Islam has quite a bit of
consequences for policies in Middle East where Islam is a center religion. In the meantime the
essential elements of political Islam control how the laws of the states are produced close by the
way the states in the Middle East cooperate with the rest of the world. Political Islam is powerful
in the Middle East nations, controlling how laws, policies and global connections are managed.
Political Islam
Political Islam or Islamism is to a greater degree of a political outfit as the name proposes as
opposed to a religious develop. As indicated by Ayoob, a large portion of the general population
that adherents of the ideology trust that it is really a collection of faith, which has something
critical to say in regards to the order of the public and legislative issues in a contemporary Muslim
society and the style to be utilized to execute the same. For the vast majority, it is the manual for
living a definitive Islamic life. In any case this is entirely broad when attempting to reveal the

  • 2. The Political Shift in America The Political Shift in America It is 2014 and since the beginning of the millennium there has been a major shift in America s political ideology and demographics, more so than in any set period of time. America which has historically been very conservative, has started to become more liberally made evident by the results of the last two elections. Although America s governmentis based on a less centralized system and free market, Americans have seemed to start embracing things like big government and a stricter market. Americans are also starting to think different on social issues such as homosexuality and drug usage. America has also experienced a change in its demographics as minorities like Asians and Hispanics continue to grow while whites are, percentage wise, starting to make up a smaller part of Americas population. Along with a shift in ideology and change in demographics, technology and communication has advanced greatly making the world a much more connected place. Because of this connectivity people are also beginning to be influenced by foreign ideas that are not familiar to most Americans such as universal healthcare. Overall, because of factors such as foreign influences due to technology and changing demographics, America has become less conservative and more liberal. Holton claims that historians excessively rely on sources by the Federalist which reveals a prejudiced Federalist view (Hollitz, 110). Woody Holton uses the writings of James Madisonand Alexander Hamiltonto expose the Founding Fathers deeper motives in writing the Constitution. The Founding Fathers were frustrated because state legislatures had been given in to popular demands to reduce taxes and increase the money supply (for relief from the recession). While citizens were behind on their taxes; states were unable to pay interest on bonds, which crippled the government operations... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The idea is that in a large republic there will be more fit characters to choose from for each delegate (Hollitz, 106). The chosen elites as representatives of the people will be more helpful to the public good than by the people themselves. Also, the fact that each representative is chosen from a larger number of citizens should make the vicious arts (Hollitz, 107). For instance, in a larger republic a corrupt delegate would need to bribe many more people in order to win an election than in a small republic, making it more difficult for unworthy candidates. Second, the same advantage which a republic has over a pure democracy in controlling the effects of faction by a larger over a small republic (Hollitz, 107). Madison explains the failure of democracy for not understanding the need of the public good. Another flaw that Madison identifies in a democracy is that it allows individuals to be their own ... O Party of Lenin, the strength of the people, To Communism s triumph lead us on!, he sang to himself, how the national anthem of his beautiful union spoke to him. His wife and him stood at the entrance of the stadium for a while, so she could reapply her bold red lipstick, and highlight her beauty; of which every Soviet lady did. Monogamy means that an individual has one spouse at a time (Lancy, 2015) however; in many cultures monogamy is not the first thing that comes to mind. There are different types of marriage in fact there are 2 types monogamy as stated earlier and Polygamy. Polygamy has two subsections within it which are polyandry defined as one wife with two or more husbands or polygyny defined as one husband with two or more wives (Lancy, 2015). Within this paper there are three groups being compared and contrasted who all part take in polygynous marriages. The three groups are the Bedouin Arab men, the Cree and Saulteaux bands, and the Shirazi from the Comoro Islands. Polygyny is quite complex, it is different for every group and there are factors that must be considered to each group before going along with a polygynous marriage. The first study that will be discussed is the Bedouin Arabs; an Interview with 100 Bedouin Arab husbands, wives, children, and extended family members of polygynous families in the Negev of Israel (Slonim Nevo, Al Krenawi and Yuval Shani, 2008) was conducted. However, from the point of view of the citizens, the similarities in their daily lives are numerous, even if some fundamental differences remain. To begin with the most obvious similarity and example: in the USA, as well as in parts of Europe, citizens use a single currency, identical to the currency of their neighboring States. Just as in Europe, in the USA, several decisions remain the responsibility of the states, such as highway code, certain taxes, social welfare, minimum wages, and certain areas of justice. It should not be unforeseen that the Bolsheviks worked hard to safeguard that any person potentially antagonistic to them did not retain arms. The first Soviet gun controls were enacted during the Russian Civil War, as Czarists, Western troops, and national independence movements fought the central Red regime. Firearm registration was instituted on April 1, 1918. In October 1918, the Council of People s Commissars (the government) ordered the renunciation of all firearms, ammunition, and sabers. As has been the case in nearly every nation where firearms registration has been introduced, registration proved a preamble to confiscation. Excused from the confiscation order, however, were affiliates of the Communist Party. A 1920 decree imposed a obligatory minimum penalty of six months in prison for non Communist possession of a firearm, even where there was no felonious intent. After the Red triumph in the Civil War, the firearm laws were consolidated in a Criminal Code, which if broken, unauthorized possession of a firearm would be punishable by rigid labor. A 1925 law made unauthorized possession of a firearm punishable by three months of hard labor, plus a fine of 300 rubles (equal to about four months wages for a highly paid construction worker). Stalin apparently found little need to alternate the weapons control structure he had inherited. This chapter of Lethal Laws summarizes the genocide perpetrated by Stalin from 1929 to 1953, starting with his efforts to collectivize farming by destroying the class of property owning farmers. Altogether, about twenty million people were murdered, worked to death in slave labor camps, or deliberately starved to death by Stalin s government. A title bluntly stating what the actual title infers that America and the Soviet Union had both taken brinksmanship way too far, and were both one slip of the hand away from killing off the entire human race. By portraying the film in a very comedic fashion, Kubrick was able to show just how ridiculous it was that we allowed the nuclear clock to come only one minute from midnight. In this scene, General Turgidson is trying, unsuccessfully, to convince President Muffley to send all of his nuclear arsenal following the plane sent by General Ripper. To which President Muffley naturally responds, I will not go down in history as the greatest mass murderer since Adolf Hitler! If you have seen the movie, you know that Turgidson delivers these lines in an optimistic, bordering on giddy tone. Moreover, Turgidson s tone not only exemplifies the absurdity of the whole situation, but also brings up a very interesting point about the power of a nuclear bomb. Calling ten to twenty million people dead acceptable losses is pretty unbelievable when re examined. That s one third of the total lives lost in WWII in the blink of an eye. Really, the only reason ten to twenty million dead could ever be considered acceptable, is when you are dealing with nuclear warfare something easily capable of wiping all life from the face of the earth. • 11. E. J. Pratt s Involvement In The Great War The Great War was a long period of loss, tension, and emotions. For Canada, world war one was one of the bloodiest conflicts they ve ever encountered with about 60,000 casualties. Canada s involvement in the war was only because at the time they were still technically part of the British empire, which just deepened a divide between French and English Canada. Although this patriotic conflict was not included in the history books, it was still an underlining tension. E.J. Pratt s work is inspired by human struggle and peril so the Great War and the Canadian nationalism rising influenced his writing. For instance, when the great war finally ended, Pratt was able to capture the unease feeling and stunned relief in his poem, The Shark by making the people feel like the shark was going to attack them at any moment, so when the shark swam away back into the ocean they felt relieved. Therefore, E.J. Pratt is a master when it comes to understanding people s feelings, emotions and being able to connect with them on a deeper level. E.J. Pratt (1882 1964), son of Reverend John Pratt and Fanny Pitts Knight was born February 4th, 1882 in Western Bay, Newfoundland, married Viola Whitney and together they had a daughter. Pratt is considered to be one of Canada s most important narrative poets. E.J. This is a great piece that looks at how women s emotions are still heavily influenced by society, whether its suppressing certain emotions or exaggerating false ones. While this article was written over a decade ago, I feel like the points brought up and the overall message are still very relevant in todays culture and society. The author, Amy Cunningham, is a freelance author and editor based out of New York. She specializes in writing about healthy living, which is what intrigued me as to what drove her to write this article. To prepare research for this piece, she interviewed and studied psychologist and facial expression expert Paul Ekman. This article was originally written for a magazine titled Lear s, which is no longer around but many of her other works have been published in popular magazines such as Glamour Magazine and The Washington Post s magazine. To date, Cunningham is still receiving checks from an academic press because of how well the article teaches in college courses. We have all experienced leisure in our lifetime. We have all taken part in activities we deem fun, exciting, or relaxing. The purpose of reflecting upon the various ways we spend our free time is to provide reflection upon our lives. Free time is valued, and by reflecting upon what we do with our time can help us find insight on whether or not our free time is spent wisely. As I reflect upon my life experience in relation to Nash s Paradigm of Free Time, I hope to gain more insight on how I have been spending my free time. I expect to reflect upon the less productive times and make a change on how to spend my free time better. Injury to Society Injury to society includes delinquency and crime. When I was in high school, around 15 or 16 years old, I used to shoplift things from the store. While I did do these things out of boredom, I had mostly stolen things for the monetary value. My leisure time was spent mostly at the mall, with other friends who would steal as well. Eventually I did get caught, and fortunately I was let off with just a warning. After that, I never stole again. The effect of me stealing as a teen has left an emotional ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 28. Essay On Dye Sensitized Solar Cells In 1991, a major breakthrough has come in the field of solar photovoltaic known as dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) [1]. This kind of solar cells possess low cost and simple functioning together with their advantageous characteristics such as lightweight, flexible, low toxicity and good performance in diverse light conditions [2]. Usually DSSC s consists of dye adsorbed nanostructured metal oxidefilm serving as a photoanode, a Pt coated counter electrode and liquid electrolyte injected between them [3]. Light irradiate on the nanostructured metal oxide film causes photo excitation of the dye molecules by exciting electrons which are then injected into the conduction band of the semiconductor and fast transferred to the external circuit... Thus, numbers of articles devoted to ZnO photoelectrode with the aim to enhance efficiency by reducing the charge carrier recombination, and improving electrical/optical performance [9 12]. In this regard, doping is the most advantageous approach to modify ZnO structures. Different kind of metals such as lanthanum [13], aluminum [14], tin [15], magnesium [16] and titanium [17] has been widely investigated as effective dopants in ZnO photoelectrode for improving the performance. Moreover, earlier reports on the DSSC have proven that the active area is directly proportional to the power conversion efficiency [18]. Therefore, we attempted to incorporate indium into ZnO to improve above cited aspects with an ideal working area (0.25cm2) of photoanode in DSSC. Indium (In3+) was chosen as dopant, because it has a noteworthy contribution in transparent conducting oxide materials and much work devoted in indium doped ZnO as a transparent conducting oxide film [19 20]. Owing to their remarkable properties such as high electronegativity, minute native lattice distortion with preferable chemical stability make indium as suitable donor than other elements for finding high quality ZnO based transparent conducting oxide with an excellent conductivity in DSSCs [21]. While the book does an excellent job of showing the determination and labor of the men of Hispanic households, it particularly does well in showcasing the immense difficulty that women of the time period were faced with. For example, Ernesto s mother does not have his father to assist in raising him, therefore, she lives with her sister and his husband as a result. This shows the mother s priorities are aligned because rather than be ashamed of having to seek refuge with a family member, she simply puts her son s comfort and life above all and swallows her pride. Alcott explores the different impacts of these expectations through the experiences of the four March sisters as they transition from childhood to adulthood. During the mid nineteenth century there were strict ideologies and guidelines held for women that they were supposed to follow. These expectations were especially strict for the women in the upper and middle classes. Women of the time period were expected to be elegant, beautiful, innocent, and domestic. The standard model for an ideal woman was exemplified in the idea of the True Woman. Dante s Inferno Canto V Analysis Essay Barbara Leon Humanities 2 Canto V Analysis 10/06/05 Canto V Analysis SUMMARY Dante and Virgil have just left limbo, the first circle of hell, and are now on their way into the second circle of hell, where hell really begins. It is here that Dante first witnesses the punishment brought upon the sinners. They encounter Minos, the beast judge who blocks the way into the second circle. He examines each soul as they pass through and determines which circle of hell they must go to by winding his tail around himself. Minos warns Dante of passing through but Virgil silences him. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... TONE This Canto describes the first real level of hell. The canto is very poetic and makes use of many similes, metaphors, and adjectives. There is also no shortage of hyperboles. The canto begins by describing the qualities of the second circle by describing the voice of the damned rose in a bestial moan, (v 3) referring to the damned rose as those lovers driven by passion who were condemned for their acts of adultery. In verse 25, Dante describes the choir of anguish to be like a wound with a simile. Next, by using a metaphor, he describes the fate of the adulterous sinners and their punishment as being battered eternally by the winds and storms of hell, as they were figuratively battered by the winds of passion in their lives on earth. He describes with a simile how as cranes go over sounding their harsh cry, / leaving the long streak of their flight in air, / so come spirits, wailing as they fly (v 46 48). Finally, he makes use of another simile to iterate how after Francesca tells of her tale of love, Dante faints and falls, as a corpse might fall, to the dead floor of hell (v 140). IMAGERY This canto begins to delve into the more sublime, dark, and mysterious. Words like, moaning, screeching, and lamenting give this canto a sad and depressed feeling. Spatially, I can imagine a dark, black whole type of place that seems like a vacuum. A lot of the words refer to dark colors and describe the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

To illustrate, Since 1973, at least 121 people have been released from death row after evidence of their innocence emerged. During the same period of time, over 982 people have been executed. If the injustices and practicalities associated with capital punishment could somehow be erased the costs cut, the racial and class biases removed, and all possibilities for error eliminated the government still cannot do it because it violates fundamental human rights. A human rights based approach does not take issue with the accuracy, technique, or timeliness of an execution. It provides a strict standard with which to say simply and unequivocally the death penalty is wrong ( The Death Penalty Is a Human Rights Violation ). Even with eliminating the major sticking points that most opponents use, as stated above, to justify why the death penalty should be abolished, there still leaves the moral and ethical stance that the death penalty is plain and simply against the basic human right to life. You have to carefully keep track of who is talking to have a good understanding of what is occurring in the play itself. Just like with movies it is easier to understand a play that is being portrayed by actors on stage because you have the ability to view who is speaking with visual cues. Comparing the written second scene in Act One of The Tempestwritten by William Shakespeare and the movie from 2010 which was directed by Julie Taymor there are some differences like lines being removed, lines being shifted, and overall easiness to follow. During Act One, Scene Two of the play we start out by noticing that one of the main characters, Prospero, has had a gender swap, which changes the name to Propsera throughout the play. Starting out that is the only major difference that you can see, however the first line difference that has been skipped occurs when Miranda says, Wherefore did they not that hour destroy us , which was completely skipped in the movie adaptation (Shakespeare, 12). In some instances, the director might have opted to make the movie a little bit more children friendly by removing lines from Ferdinand (page 24 line 448) talking about Miranda s virginity (00:26:48 00:26:59). Grammar Usage And English Class Introduction Grammar is the basis for the English language, yet is not uncommon to approach a teenager, or even an adult that has a genuine fear and even a distaste for grammar. While they likely know the value of such a construct, the endless rules and complex exceptions to grammar rules has created a sense of dread among many learners. Yet, it is not only the student that shies away from grammar conversations, but many teachers themselves feel inadequate in the grammar usage, both in speaking and writing, as well as their assessment of student writing. With the national push to embed writing across the curriculum, many teachers feel ill prepared to assess students on their grammar. While they may concede it is important, many teachers would argue the place for grammar is only in the English classroom. However, this poses the question, if students isolate grammar usage to their English class, how will they be equipped to transfer correct usage skills in their future careers which will likely be outside the field of English? There is little academic research available on professional attitudes about grammar from high school teachers. This study is an attempt to examine the statistical merit of grammar attitudes.
