Abstract Vehicular networks or VANET announce as the communication networks of the future,
where the mobility is the main idea. These networks should be able to interconnect vehicles. The
optimal goal is that these networks will contribute to safer roads and more effective in the future by
providing timely information to drivers and concerned authorities. They are therefore vulnerable to
many types of attacks among them the black hole attack. In this attack, a malicious node
disseminates spurious replies for any route discovery in order to monopolize all data
communication and deteriorate network performance. Many studies have focused on detecting and
isolating malicious nodes in VANET. In this paper, we present two mechanisms to detect this
attack. The main goal is detecting as well as bypass cooperative black hole attack. Our approachs

Resnick talks about what, scientifically, makes us bias and prone to partisanship. He explores and
evaluates many studies on the subject throughout the article to better explain his point. He talks
about how difficult it is to change ones views because our us versus them (1) mindset, and how we
can fix it.
Resnick believes that partisanship pushes us to dehumanize them. If someone is on our side we
are more likely to call them human. However, research says this is not our fault, because it is the

Unconventional Warfare (UW) use as a strategic option is undersold due to a lack of
understanding. The lack of understanding cause further political constraints and leads to
interagency bickering. Military leaders need to do better at articulating the merits of UW as a
viable and strategic option. The lack of understanding UW stems from two parts. First, military
leaders lack the understanding and practical application. Second, the lack of understanding leads

The Issue Of Undocumented Immigrants
As the issue of undocumented immigrants once again dominates the news headlines, our politicians
are faced with the difficult task of enforcing the laws of our land, yet humanely and ethically
tending to those who illegally reside within America s borders. As the political parties face off with
differing ideologies, the undocumented, who are seen as victims from one side and criminals from
the other, are caught in this citizenship purgatory until a political compromise can be achieved.
Until such a compromise occurs, the nation is left dealing with the fallout of this population s
existence. Not belonging, they are left to fend for themselves while living in the shadows.
Surviving through government assistance or using a stolen identity as a means to gain
employment, the undocumented struggle to survive in a nation that is aware of their existence yet
chooses to do nothing about it. To address the illegal immigrationepidemic in the United States, its
leaders must hold all lawbreakers accountable while compassionately and ethically addressing the
issue through a balanced approach of amnesty and deportation. The United States of America as a
republic is defined to have a government of laws, and not of men as stated by John Adams during

The Death Penalty Is Not Morally Ambiguous
In the United States, there are several topics that are considered morally ambiguous. Among these
contended topics is the death penalty. There are many arguments for and against capital
punishment. One proponent for the death penalty is Ernest van den Haag, who in his article, The
Ultimate Punishment, argues a case for the death penalty. I believe he successfully counters the
arguments against the death penalty leading me to believe it is not something that should be
viewed as inhumane and wrong. I will argue that the death penalty is not morally ambiguous, but a

Many people have a fear of death, many a fear of confinement. It is impossible to predict which
sentence would deter the most potential murderers. With this in mind, it makes more sense to have
a variety of sentences that would deter the greatest amount of people. Abolishing the death penalty
may result in those who are not deterred by the life sentence continuing to commit heinous crimes.
As van den Haag states, Sparing the lives of even a few prospective victims by deterring their
murderers is more important than preserving the lives of convicted murderers because of the
possibility, or even the probability, that executing them would not deter others (194). The argument
has been made that if we condone the legal execution of convicted murderers, then we are
essentially endorsing murder itself. If this were so, then, as van den Haag points out, prison
sentences would endorse kidnapping and fines would endorse robbery (195). If someone has the
mentality that something the judicial system deems an appropriate punishment is unjust, then that
individual will do as they see fit in retaliation. The death sentence itself does not endorse anything.
This is again something that is defined on an individual level. As with anything in life, there is

Police always wear a uniform, but their color scheme does not make sense. The uniform could
signify that these men are not the usual law enforcers in this area. They may have been called in to
support the local agencies. All the equipment they are also carrying shows that they are ready for
larger protest with more intensity. They may not have even stopped the man; he may be a protester

between the people in Ferguson and the police force. The mailbox can provide context to the
feelings of the local residents. It also lets the viewer know that there is tension between both sides,
and they are not just invading for no reason.
The image shows the type of protest, how it was handled, the feelings of some of the people and
how each side responded. Although the picture shows a biased view of the situation, it can
demonstrate the tension between both sides and how they reacted. The foreground has a protestor
