Sinus Headache Research Paper
10 Ways to treat Sinus headaches
I have suffered from sinus and allergy problems throughout my entire life. Even if I currently live
in a drier climate, I still have sinus headache. Although, a sinus headache can be confused as a
migraine (just as a sinus infection feels like a cold), which is how bad a sinus headache can be.
Misery becomes company and it causes your full day to become unproductive from drowsiness
regardless if the medication suggests that it is a non drowsy formula.
From tossing and turning to I feel like crap the next day, here are some suggestions that will treat or
sooth your sinus suffering.

Most allergy medications do not give me the benefit of the doubt from their recommended dosage.
The decongestant is supposed to break up any mucus that are causing sinus pressure. For whatever
it is worth, if it is needed, a antihistamine with a decongestant would be ideal. Talk to your doctor if
you have high blood pressure or if any of the over the counter allergy medications will interact with
any medications that you are taking.
All decongestant medications are located at your local pharmacy behind the pharmacy counter.
Yes, you will have to ask for them and you must be 18 or older to purchase.
7.Hot Tea
I personally love any hot tea. Hot tea in general just has so many properties to prevent you from
dehydration and moisten your nasal cavity. Even though there may be that some teas are better than
others, for me, it does not matter. It also feels great to the throat since any sinus issues would cause
irritation to the throat. A holistic approach to relieving your agonizing headache, but not a long
term conclusion.
8.Medicated nasal sprays
Nasal sprays are to be use with the addition to other allergy medications. The spray is suppose to
work as a decongestant in order to relieve and prevent sinus pressure.
9.Stay away from cigarette smoke and people wearing heavy perfume or

Allegory In Animal Farm
In society today, many are familiar with George Orwell s political allegory Animal Farm, with
Disney s story about kindness to others in Beauty and the Beast, or with the children s tale Little
Red Riding Hood warning of the dangers in the outside world. The common thread in these tales is
that the authors use animals to communicate a specific message or story. Christian texts also use
animal imagery to communicate a message as found in the symbols of the Evangelists. Recognized
by Christians throughout the world, the symbols include the figures of a man representing Mathew,
the a lion representing Mark, an ox representing Luke, and an eagle representing John, which
together are known as the tetramorph. It has been widely noted that the many... Show more content

Translated from Greek to mean having four forms, the term tetramorph specifically refers to the
four figures that symbolize the Evangelists that are responsible for writing the New Testament
gospels. According to Ezekial 1:5, 10, the prophet describes his vision of four living creatures
emerging from a bright cloud of fire as follows: As for the likeness of their faces, each had the
face of a man in front; the four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an
ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle at the back. Some scholars put forth that
Ezekial was likely influenced by an image of Baal, an idol with four faces, those of a bull, a lion,
a man, and a dragon. The idol was brought to Jerusalem during the eighth century BCE and the
theory is that Ezekial may have re imagined the four faced divinity in his own vision. One could
also argue that given the expansive territory that the Roman Empire covered during Ezekial s
lifetime, apart from the Lascaux cave paintings, it is highly likely that he was familiar with images
of the abovementioned artworks. Regardless of Ezekial s inspiration, Ezekial is credited with the
initial vision of the four headed creature that holy men of the Christian religion interpreted into

Causes Of Southern Secession
One of the most prevalent justifications and causes for southern secession was the protection of
state and citizen rights. More specifically, the protection of the rights given to them, and protected
by, the fifth amendment of the Constitution. This amendment protected the rights to property that
American citizens possessed, which in the south translated into the protection of their slaves, whom
they considered their property. The majority of southern opinion was that the northern states, or the
union, were attempting to strike down the rights of [the] Southern slave holder and override every
barrier which their constitution has erected for his protection (Document 2, p. 93). By this, the
southern opinion was arguing that the northern majority in the federal government was
intentionally limiting southern citizens constitutional rights, which in the 1860 s was a serious
accusation. The most common instance used to support this was the, in the southern opinion,
disregard for the Fugitive Slave Law of 1850. Many secessionists pointed out that this law was
meant to protect property rights, but that multiple northern states were attempting to nullify it
(Document 2, p. 94), thereby attacking southern rights in addition to the federal laws in place. A
secondary driving force of southern secession was the belief that the southern states and citizens
needed to protect themselves, and their way of life, from Abraham Lincolns administration and the
implications that it

Argumentative Essay On Evolution And Religion
Evolution and creationism are one of the biggest debates Christians face when defending their
faith. To most Christians, evolution is a theory and is not true at all. Though sharing the same
DNA with an ape may make evolution seem true Creation backs up all the facts without leaving
any gaps. Evolution is believed to be a theory regarded by Christians while Creation is a fact. When
looking at evolution, there one can see many unsolved answers and gaps. Evolution is like a puzzle
with missing pieces. It is unsolvable. Creation on the other hand, has no missing pieces and has an
answer for everything. There are no gaps in creation, making it all the more believable. Though
many try to solve evolution s puzzle and, consequently, they find themselves unable to do so.
Evolution is hard to back up without having actual proof. Creation has proof through scripture
making everything fit together like a perfect puzzle. This proves, everything about creation.
Evolution however, does not completely go together due to its missing links. Without science,
evolution is nothing. Creation uses both science and scripture to prove its validity. The definition of
evolution is a constant change for the betterment of something. If evolution... Show more content on

Evolutionists believe that an atom was sitting somewhere and exploded by chance. Once the atom
exploded, the planets and everything on them formed all from this one atom. A unanswerable
question that Evolutionists face is, what did the atom originate from? Everything must come from
something and have a creator. Evolutionists also tend to believe that the earth is millions of years
old. God made everything to its mature state. (Jackson) This explains why fossils are testing older
then what they actually are. This is another reason why Christians also believe that Earth is young

Homosexuals should be allowed to serve openly in all branches of the US Military Gays should be
allowed to openly serve in all areas and levels of the U.S. military because logic and the tide of
political correctness dictate that such should be the case.
The American armed forces had, since the early revolutionary war, held sodomy (then generally
defined as the conduct of performing anal or oral sexual act) as grounds for discharge. It was in
1950, when the Uniform form Code of Military Justice prohibiting homosexual and heterosexual
anal and oral sex was passed, that the gay ban began. Under President Ronald Reagan, the gay ban
was more stringently enforced. In the 1990s, amidst vicious opposition to repeal the ban, President

However, homosexual s open service should no longer be an issue of friction because the
American society is increasingly moving towards open acceptance of gay developments that
even include gay marriages and open military service. The fears of the deterioration of
heterosexual military members in the event of open service of gays in all military branches are
no longer supported by studies on civilian and enlisted service personnel s attitude. No less than
Service members Legal Defense Network (SLDN) s Director of Law and Policy Sharra Greer have
observed that in the present, Heterosexual service members serve alongside lesbian and gay
colleagues every day and they are increasingly comfortable doing so (New Poll).
There is, in fact, a considerable presence of gay and lesbian Americans serving in the armed forces.
Despite the ban on open gay service, the different opinion survey results reflect how both the
American public and the enlisted personnel themselves either find the matter of sexual orientation
irrelevant to military performance, or recognize the contributions of the enlisted gay members to
the country s military.
An estimate places the number of gay and lesbian Americans serving in the armed forces at

Howl By Ginsberg Essay
Constraints of Confinement
Trumpets blaring, bass booming, heads swaying to the beat in a tiny jazz club. Creativity is flowing
and the Beat Poets of the 1950s are unknowingly establishing a counterculture movement, one that
challenges the social norms and politics of their time and even transcends generations to remain
relevant today. Poets like Jack Kerouac, William Seward Burroughs, Neal Cassady, and Allen
Ginsberg were heavily influenced by jazz, adopting their seedy dress, manners, and hip
vocabulary ( Beat Movement ) that changed their lifestyle and helped write their poetry.
Specifically, Allen Ginsberg s poem Howl, is often regarded as the anthem of 1950s Beats ( Howl
| Poem by Ginsberg ), a poem unstructured and free flowing to reflect Ginsberg s experiences. In
Howl, Allen Ginsberg uses unique language and changes his tone throughout the poem in an
attempt to break the constraints of confinement and seek his own forms of freedom.

Ginsberg shows that the American river represents capitalism and how it washes away the
creativity by exclaiming, Visions! omens! hallucinations! miracles! ecstasies! gone down the
American River! (line 90). Essentially, all good things like the visions and ecstasy has been washed
away and people have become constrained by the capitalist institution that is America. The tone of
anger prevails in particularly in line 91, describing dreams, adorations, and illuminations as the
whole boatload of sensitive bullshit that no one seems to care about. This metaphor is extremely
important to the overall theme of breaking the constraints of confinement because the capitalistic
society of America is in itself confining the creative thinkers that make up the Beat

Lessons Learned In Non-Camp Counseling
Over the summer I spent the entire month of July as a leader in training at a Girl Guide camp. I
learned many essential skills for being an effective camp counselor, but not all of those skills
were applicable in non camp life. Yet there was one lesson I learned that has stuck with me; and
I try to keep it in mind everyday. Everyday at camp we did a variety of sessions where we would
do an activity that would teach us a lesson about leadership in an enjoyable and engaging way.
The activity I remember the most is an activity we did on one of the very first days. We had been
told to wear running shoes that morning, and after breakfast we trekked through the forest and
arrived in a clearing with many different low ropes courses. All of... Show more content on

Persuasive Essay On Grey Wolf
If the entire species is taken off the endangered species list, the Gray Wolf will still be targeted by
human predators. The controversy of Gray Wolves being dangerous to the human community is an
opinion that needs to be recognised.
Anti wolf extremists will stop at nothing until the Gray Wolf species is put to rest for good. Over
the years the so called hunters have created a cultural background to the Gray Wolf. The bible states,
Religious convictions support our hatred of the wolf. Then God said, Let us make man in our
image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds
of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon

In recent centuries, the removal of wolves has allowed smaller predators to dramatically increase
in number and range, thereby increasing exploitation of their prey. Although this is of value to the
ecosystem, the removal of Gray wolves has caused harm than benefit. Gray wolves have been
replaced by the expandation of the coyote population, which has caused a large community of
small predators such as foxes to prey on smaller mammals that are responsible for infecting ticks
with Lyme disease. The increase of these smaller mammals, is a likely cause of the increase in a
range of Lyme disease, (Levi et al. 2012).
In Yellowstone National Park, scientists have been carefully documenting the impacts of wolves
on the ecosystem, noting many changes for the better since reintroduction, (Berger et al. 2008;
Beschta and Ripple 2010). As the ecosystem depends on the Gray Wolf to properly function
predation, the wolves also regulate distribution and group size of each species, which impacts
overall native biodiversity. Wolves primarily prey on large hoofed mammals such as deers, elk
and moose. By preying on the most vulnerable (diseased, young, old, weak or injured) individuals,
wolves can help keep prey populations more healthy and strong, (Carbyn

nature of income received is of statutory or capital as it has been noticed that the contract

considered to be of income in nature as in the case of HEAVY MINERALS (1966) and ALLIED

How Social Media Has Revolutionized The Way People Live

2.2.2. Social Media and Employee Voice
However, until recently, most of the organisations s social media strategy of human resource
management put emphasis on recruitment and neglect an important audience within the
organisation: their own people (CIPD, 2013). Social media could be a power tool not only for
establishing external interaction between employers and job seekers, but also for maintaining
internal relationships between employers and employees. Furthermore, technology has blurred the
physical boundaries between work and home and the recent years have seen the development of
various type of employment such as teleworkers or outsourcing (Mustafa and Gold, 2013). For
example, employees knowledge, experience, and talent are often underutilized when a workforce is
dispersed over functional areas, departments, and the globe. Moreover, the multinational
corporation in the global community has increased dramatically which means employees might
have a great possibility to work across the globe. Given the emergence of teleworkers and global
workforce, an effective communication system plays a pivotal role in managing relationship with
both traditional and non traditional workers within organisations. Thus, many businesses have
increasingly adopted a virtual approach to workspace (Kayworth and Leidner, 2000;

Most London knife crimes are no longer gang related, police say was an article written for The

young people are increasingly carrying knives for protection. Knife crimes in London have risen

the 12 months to August 2016, there were 3,877 victims of knife crimewho were injured, 1,749 of

2016 Outlook For Automotive M A
The 2016 Outlook for Automotive M A
The easy money policy of the Federal Reserve and the cash swollen balance sheets of
corporations and private equity firms alike contributed to an explosion of deal making in 2015.
Long term growth in vehicle production and the positive outlook for vehicle sales over the next
five years have made automotive one of the leading sectors for M A. We expect deal activity in
the automotive sector to remain strong during 2016, but to taper off from 2015 levels. The biggest
factor that will suppress deal activity this year is the impending interest rate increase by the
Federal Reserve. Other deal squelching factors include geopolitical instability (e.g., in the Middle
East and Russia) and the relative scarcity of companies that can be purchased at bargain prices.
Favorable Conditions Exist for Automotive M A
Even though macroeconomic factors will have a chilling effect on deal activity, automotive is
likely to remain one of the hottest sectors for M A. During its resurgence over the past five years,
the automotive industry has been highly profitable. In addition, the growth prospects for the
industry are favorable, especially in light of the overall low growth economic environment.
Despite the recovery, economic growth in the U.S. and overseas has been stagnant. Average GDP
growth in the U.S. over the past five years is at 2.4 percent. Other leading world economies such as
Japan, Germany, and the United Kingdom have likewise experienced

What Is The Mood Of The Poem Blackberry-Picking
In the poem Blackberry Picking, the author discusses the harshness of life by describing his
experience picking blackberries. While the poem is rather dark, he maintains the message that
childish hopes still exist despite the continual blockade of reality.
In the first stanza, Heaney describes the berry picking as a rather unimportant task. The blackberries
represent the hope and excitement that summer is: summer s blood was in it (6). The childish
hopefulness is expressed in the conversational tone, created by the syntax found within the rhythm.
The author organizes the sentences in a way that varies the stressed and unstressed syllable to keep
the experience of berry picking casual and light.
The rhyme scheme of AABB keeps a sense of organized structure throughout the poem.
The author often includes slant rhyme to eliminate the sing song pattern many poems have: for
/hunger (7 8).
The use of descriptive diction allows the reader to clearly visualize the experience. The clear
imagery of the berry s flesh (5) sweetened like thickened wine ... Show more content on

This is paradoxically established when the author says: all the lovely canfuls smelt of rot (23).
The hopes of sweet and lovely blackberries are destroyed by the inevitable decay of what was
sweet and satisfying in the berries. This grim picture of the destruction of the things we cherish
enough to search for even when wet grass bleached our boots (10), displays a depressing picture
of the world around us. Although human possessions, in this case the berries, do not live forever,
the hope that goodness will carry on is exhibited in the childish hopes that the berries will stay fresh

When the consumer received this message, noise is reduced, thus increasing the chances of e

The last behavior associated with e tailing would be the partnership potentially created after the

about the product or service and what he or she is involving themselves in. It is in the best
interest of the e tailer to keep their process simple and user friendly. Too many options and side

Thomas Kuhn s The Structure Of Scientific Revolutions
Thomas Kuhn s, The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, is masterful text giving insight on how
scientific progress occurs in our communities. Kuhn believed that science progressed in a
spontaneous and unpredictable manner, shaped by social and political factors of groups of
scientific community and not by development by accumulation. Although during the time this
book was published these claims seemed bold and extremely radical, in today s society we can
relate to Kuhn s views of scientific conduct. This was one of the most interesting and challenging
novels I have read so far in my academic career. I felt that it was extremely specific a very dense,
but at the same time very relatable. Being a sciencemajor my entire life, I had an interest before
even beginning the text, nonetheless while reading it. I thought the text was very enlightening
and in a manner eye opening. After reading Kuhn s book, my perspective of science has
completely changed. Kuhn s bold statements on the minor gaps that science leaves out even in its
most perfect and established form, provide a sense of guidance for his reasoning behind the
episodic natures of a scientific revolutions. Initially, I was a bit confused as to what Kuhn was
arguing for and what points he was making. I especially got lost when he began to dive into the
concept of paradigmatic science and research. But after talking about in lecture I had a much

The Three Major Characteristics Of The Rice Riots
Rice riots
Rice riots happened in 1918 when the Japanese government was involved in the Siberia
intervention and the economy of Japan was in war prosperity that the export and industrial
development was growing rapidly. To maintain the competitiveness of the Japanese exports and
industrial product, the government set the purchasing price of the rice merchant from the
peasants, which was much lower than the market price to lower the industrial production cost of
the raw materials. As a result, the living standard of the general peasants and workers in the city
had even worsened under the prosperity despite the huge growth in industry and the economy. In
May 1917, the rice market price starts to rise rapidly by 3 yen per koku and the price reached ...

The rice riot indicated the social structure at that time that the peasants and low level workers were
highly exploited and could not even benefit from the development of the economy. This riot meant
the strong dissent to the oppression from the government and the industrial Zaibatsu from the
peasants to normal Japanese people. To the government, this riot indicated that this economic
development style could not be sustainable, thus entered a more democratic period 1920s. The riot
had led to three major changes to the society. Firstly, the salary of the citizens and the purchasing
price of the peasants were raised a little while the government tried to lower the market price by
increasing imports from its colony Korea and Taiwan as well as other rice producing countries
(Morgan 2011, 121 122), which slightly improved the living standard of the poor. The more
important impact is in the government that Hara Takashi, who was the first untitled premier. This
indicated the end of the Kazoku control of the government and the rise of the party politics.
Since the cabinet of Hara, the premier and cabinet members could be untitled, which indicated a
great progress for the Japanese democracy development. The rice riot also caused the strong
opposition to the left wing ideology in the Japanese government. After the riot, most of the leaders
in the movement were arrested and put to the death sentence. To avoid such a riot happening
again, the government had a stronger opposition to the left wing movement and strikes (Morgan
2011, 125 134). For instance, even in 1925, a more democratic period, to avoid the spread the
communism in Japan and other left wing ideology, the diet had passed Public Security
Preservation Laws to delegalize the left wing parties. The strong attitude against the left wing
ideology were because of the serious rice

Doing History Summary
In the opening chapters of both Doing History (2013), by Michael J. Galgano, J. Chris Arndt,
and Raymond M. Hyser, and The Methods and Skills of History (2015), by Conal Furay and
Michael J. Salevouris, the authors broadly discuss what history is, as well as the kinds and uses of
historical knowledge. Doing Historyfocuses closely on the definition of history and the variety of
approaches to studying and using historical facts. Chapter One of The Methods and Skills of
History emphasizes upon the importance of history in society, while Chapter Two is centered on
the nature of history and the task of the historian. According to Doing History, the study of history
as a whole is an interpretation of past events based on reliable evidence. However, there can be
misuse of historical facts, such as dependence on popular memory, or, how... Show more content on

Current events have a basis in historical fact and the practice of analyzing and acting upon past
experiences is all considered thinking historically. Without history, human society would have no
identity or base. Chapter Two begins by expressing what Doing History has already stated on the
definition of history. However, Methods and Skills delves further into the nature of history by
explain that a historian can shed light on an event in history, but nobody can actually show exactly
how things took place during that event. All of history is naturally subject to the historian s point
of view and interpretations, therefore, the absolute fullest and truest version of history is essentially
unattainable. However, this fact does not negate the importance of studying and understanding
history, because historical fact is grounded in reliable, factual evidence from the event.
Consequently, historians must always be asking questions and looking for the best possible
answers for the ever evolving dialogue of

HARLEY DAVIDSON HOG
CASE STUDY
Introduction After near extinction Harley Davidson has become one of the premier motorcycle
manufacturers and distributors in the world. A primary driver in this success has been their
attention to building the Harley Davidson brand with attention to customer loyalty, specifically
with the creation of a brand community of customers the Harley Owners Group (HOG). Through
HOG they have been able to connect with customers at the grass roots level. Their sponsorship of
regional and national HOG events has provided them with one on one access to their customers,

Seeing a diverse group of riders old and young, male and female the Posse Riders project an open,
inclusive image for Harley.
While the visual promotional effect of the Posse Rides should be exploited as much as possible,
commercializing them should be avoided. The Posse participants are Harley s best customers and
this event should be an opportunity to reward them, not exploit them. The indirect benefits, such as
building brand awareness and loyalty, are much more important than short term sales. Given the
wide differences in income, raising prices and/or offering special amenities for additional costs,
will simply drive off working class participants that blow their annual wad on one rally. This would
change the nature of the Posse from an open, inclusive group to a rich, closed one.
The Posse Rides should also continue to maintain their exclusivity. If everyone can get a Posse T
shirt because of merchandising they will not be worth having to real Posse Riders. Keeping the
number of participants small also adds to the feeling of exclusivity, as well as only having a Posse
Rides no more than once a year. This should also help to maintain a feeling of spontaneity that is
missing from regional HOG events.
Next Steps/Recommendations to Maximize Effectiveness and Profitability
Given that we believe that The Posse Ride should continue, we feel there are several things that

Enlightenment In Siddhartha
Siddhartha Dreams For some, dreams can be a guidance for what one wants in life. The protagonist,
Siddhartha, sets out on a journey to find his enlightenment. Siddhartha uses many ways to find
himself, such as; becoming a samana with Govinda, buddhism, and then he finds himself by
listening to the river. Siddharthaleaves his father in hopes of enlightenment, and nonetheless feels
his soul merge with unity and achieves his ultimate goal. For the first time he hears all of the
voices of the river, not as many voices, but as one single continuum of life. These dreams are a
guide for Siddhartha because his dreams represent his goals in life; to find himself. For example,
Siddhartha says to the Brahman, With your permission, Father. I have come to tell you that I
desire to leave your house tomorrow and go to the ascetics. To become a samana is my desire. I
hope my father will not oppose this. (Hesse 8) This shows how even though his father does not
approve of his desire, he still sets out on this journey. Siddhartha s ultimate dream is to find his
enlightenment, and he will never stop looking for it.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

farewell to the mango tree and the pleasure garden. As he had not had any food that day he felt
extremely hungry, and thought of his house in town, of his room and bed, of the table with food.
He smiled wearily, shook his head and said good bye to these things. (Hesse 68) This shows that
Siddhartha knew what was better for him. He would rather have found himself than be
overwhelmed with riches and love. Siddhartha knew to listen to his dreams because that is what he

Analysis Of The Book Don Quixote
Frame Story Author and journalist, Barbara Reynolds, in a scholarly review by Arthur Terry, stated
that the book Don Quixote, ...offers a great detail, especially the interesting introduction, the
excellent notes, and the helpful cast of characters. Students and other serious readers of the classics
will be grateful. (Terry 107) Reynolds expresses her opinion that Don Quixoteis a well written and
highly recommended novel. Within the book, there are a series of short stories, poems, and
essays. Though this is a good novel, there is some debate as to whether or not the first six
chapters of the book are an exemplary novel, yet this should not be a dispute seeing as the six
chapters contain the qualities and characteristics of an exemplary novel. An exemplary novel is a
collection of short stories originating from Spanish literature. It is used to tell a moral lesson
presented by a problem or issue that one should learn from. (NHSL 107) An exemplary novel also
contains all of the characteristics of a standard novel such as setting, character development, and
plot.
In the book, Don Quixote, the moral lesson is not to believe in fictional novels that one reads for
it will cause misfortune and suffering. The reader can gather the ideas of this lesson by looking
specifically into each one of Don Quixote s adventures for example, the scene with the young boy
and the peasant, or the scene with the merchants. When Don Quixote acting as a knight rode upon
the peasant beating the

Native Americans And The Civil Rights Movement
With the arrival of the colonists came the vast discrimination and unacceptance of native Americans
whose land was wrongfully and aggressively taken. Native Americans were subjected to the mercy
of the Western European s deathly contagious small pox disease. More so, the Western European
colonizers began the use of slavery as a fast and cheap method of running plantations and other
intensive labor. Along with slavery, the western expansion began what would become the
discrimination of Latinos and Native Americans. These injustices would later culminate to what

The Effect Of Aerobic Exercise On Aerobic Capacity
INTRODUCTION
The body constantly needs energy to work. This energy, at the cellular level, supplied in the form
of chemical potential energy stored in ATP needs to be regeneration in order to fuel more cellular
activity and this can be done aerobically or anaerobically(Astrand 1956). Energy to sustain high
intensity workouts cannot eventually be fully supported by anaerobic pathways, resulting in an
increased reliance on aerobic metabolism (Bogdanis et al. 1996). The level of fitness to carry out
anaerobic exercises may be influenced by aerobic capacity (Kaikkonen et al.2000, Tomlin and
Wegner 2011).
By discovering the relationship between anaerobic fitness and aerobic fitness. It should be possible
for athletes to think about taking an advantage by distributing their physical energy during a match
properly or, for any individuals to understand or make their personal fitness program.
The aim of this study is to compare the maximum number of push ups achieved by tested
individuals against their change in pulse rate measure before and after a moderate step up exercise;
and determine how the ability of anaerobic fitness influences aerobic exercise.
It was predicted that being anaerobically fit do not assist in aerobic exercise.

Technology Plan Design
Introduction: Technology Plan Design A technology plan should set the direction for the future use
of technology as a tool for assisting School District in attaining their vision, mission, and goals. As
noted by Picciano (2011), planning should include a comprehensive approach to identifying needs,
commitment to follow through with action steps and resource acquisition, collaboration between
internal and external publics. The planshould also be a continuity between change and a connection
to the past that builds toward the futuredetailing objectives, rationale, strategies, and measurements.
This approach to planning assists in developing a technology plan through minimizing risks by
establishing basic evaluation criteria early in the process (pp 20 25) such as identification of
measurable goals and insuring that all stakeholders are involved throughout the process. Knight
(2011) and Senge (2001, 2012) recommend using a systems approach to planning and Picciano
(2011) supports this by describing an implementationmodel that defines, designs, develops and
disseminates technology in small incremental stages until satisfied that the technology is meeting
expected goals on a limited basis before implementing on a larger scale (p. 25). Using a systems
approach, a technology plan must identify operational feasibility and is often best implemented
through a pilot or phased in process. While a technology plan can look excellent on paper,

American Teenagers Are Even More Stress Than Adults Essay

in the real world. In fact, according to the article, American Teens Are Even More Stressed than
Adults , it was found that Millennials aged 18 33 were the country s most stressed generation.
Many other articles also state that stress is mostly experienced by teenagers because they usually
don t have the experience to juggle so many responsibilities that are presented to them. While the
word stress many brings many teenagers into fear, there are two types of stress: good stress and
bad stress. Good stress can push you forward to finish an assignment, or ask that girl or boy out in

Systems Theory And System Theory
Systems theory sees the system as a set of related components that work together in a particular
environment to perform specific functions that are required of them to achieve the system s
objective (Walker, 2012). Most people are part of a variety of systems and subsystems. For
example, a family is seen as a system in itself but each member of the family may have different
subsystems, such as their peers, education, job, recreational activities, etc. and all of these
subsystems play a role in the functioning of the system being examined. Applied theorists of
systems theorysee the system as goal seeking and when they discuss a problem within the system, it
doesn t necessarily mean that something is wrong but rather that the situation needs to be better
understood and a solution to be found and implemented for the system to continue operating
smoothly (2012).
The social worker has decided to utilize systems theory approach when working with the Brown
family. The social worker finds it extremely important to look at this family as a system of
individual working together and believes that the family as a whole cannot be completely
understood without looking at how the individuals work together and getting a grasp on their
dynamic. Each member of the family has designated roles and are expected to respond to each
other in certain ways. The changes in these roles may cause dysfunction in the family system. In
order to determine the roles played by different individuals in the

The Navy Marine Mammal Program (NMMP), located in San Diego, California, has been going on

marine mammals, such as their hydrodynamics. By understanding how certain animals maneuver in
the water, perhaps the Navy could improve torpedo, ship and submarine designs (Marine Mammal

Indian Removal Act Of 1830
Indian Removal Act of 1830 The Indian Removal Act was signed into law on May 28th 1930
during the presidency of Andrew Jackson. Perhaps best known as the black eye of the
administration and overshadowing his presidency s accomplishments, the Indian Removal Act
was passed into law to allow the president to negotiate with Indians to purchase land they
occupied and offer them lands west of the Mississippi. The Indian Removal Act of 1830 could
also amount to pure greed and racism, the beginning of the arrogance of Americans in the belief
that we deserve to take something just because we want it. Expansion By the early 1800 s with the
Constitution firmly in place and the economy recovering, the population was growing. The settlers
desire to expand further West and south met many hazards, the largest of which being the Native
Americans that occupied those lands. Settlers were eager to raise large cotton and tobacco
plantations and Native Americans were seen as an obstacle. The Indian Removal Act was the
result of the settlers petitioning the government for more land and protection from the Savage
Indians to the south and west in present day Mississippi and Alabama although there were few
unprovoked attacks at the time. The need for land to grow more cash crops was all consuming. An
argument could be made that President Jackson held a personal grudge against the Natives,

7. Support for Government74 There is little to no support for Cuban government. There are

with Euros. Cubans are not allowed on these islands; therefore I would think they are not happy
with these foreign ownerships.

1948, written by Larry Watson, is about the troublesome journey the Hayden family had during
the late 1940 s. The plot from the text expresses the idea of power. By comprehending the idea,
the reader was able to learn how much of an impact a powerful person can have on a powerless
person, too much power can lead to disaster to their loved ones and even to themselves and no
matter how much power a person has, someday, that person will lose the power they one once
had. In this essay the idea of power is expressed by how much of an impact a powerful person can

Malaysia, Tongue equates meaning with function in his discussion of lah (114 115). He proposes,
The range of meanings it possesses is prodigious; depending upon the way it is pronounced, it can
function as an intensifying particle, as a marker of informal style, as a signal of intimacy, for
persuading, deriding, wheedling, rejection and a host of other purposes. (114 115) I hope to
demonstrate the complexity behind the use of lah by showing that a Malaysian s ethnicity, region

Settlement Of San Antonio And The Defense Of All This New...
For through observation and exploration of those lands and coasts, both by land and sea, it must
be recognized that these settlements must be the rampart, fortress, and the defense of all this New
Spain. (pg. 1). The author Jesus F. de la Teja takes a objective look of settlement of San Antonio
and its surroundings. His book covers over the course of a period of the 18th Century. His writings
describe the life of the settlers, economics, living conditions, and their use of the land. He does a
superior job of characterizing the early TexasColonial settlers daily life. The author uses distinct

How livestock were rounded up and then taken on cattle drives. The cattle drives would end at train
stations where the livestock were loaded up. The trains would transport the cattle to meat producing
plants. The author Teja also does an acceptable analysis of the land use patterns around the Mission
of San Antonio. With the many diverse groups and families settling San Antonio, Teja covers the
diversity the area goes through. Teja could have placed more emphasis in painting a picture that San
Antonio was the focal point in the Northern Boundary lands. I highly endorse this book for a person
looking to study the growth of San Antonio in the 18th Century. Community in San Antonio de
Bexar did not spring up overnight. It was the product of a Shared struggle for survival among
people who initially had little in common. (pg. 160) According to Chipman, The author Teja is a
scholar who is focused on the formation of the community at San Antonio de Bexar during the 18th
Century. (Chipman) Teja provides a precise overview of the early settlers norms, beliefs, and
attitudes in occupying San Antonio in an nonpartisan manner. Permanently settled in 1718, San
Antonio began as a military and missionary outpost on the northern frontier of New Spain.
(Chipman) Teja also captures how the older settlers viewed their relationship with the arrogant

Barn Burning, written by William Faulkner, shows the main character, Colonel Sartoris Snopes
(Sarty), struggling through major conflicts with along the theme of loyalty against himself, his
father and family, and the law. There are many possible themes but the theme of loyalty stands out
through the whole short story. Sartoris Snopes had a major conflict with his father, Abner Snopes.
Abner Snopes was an outcast from the county they lived in and was an angry man that the
majority of the time took things too far. He eventually started breaking the law by burning and

Significance Of Regulating Employee Relations
The significance of regulating employee relations cannot be underestimated. A cohesive workforce
and harmonious working environment are necessary ingredient for an organization that seeks to
grow its potential. As some of the important resources of a company, employees welfare ought to be
of great concern to the company. Making the employee comfortable within the organization starts
with ensuring good relations among the workers. The possibilities of constant conflicts and
potential disputes at the workplace are enough to make employees resign to move to other
companies. Consequently, the high turnover rate damages the reputation of the company, further
undermining any growth prospects. Regulation of employee relations is a necessary initiative. In
the international spheres, the significance is emphasized by the diversification of cultures of the
employees. In managing employee relations at the international level, certain issues take precedent
over conventional approaches to employee relations. For instance, security would be a priority
concern for workers in a country ravaged by wars or political instability. Similarly, health becomes
an important issue in regions prone to constant epidemics. Failure to address such important issues
may lead to the departure of employees. The unique resource abilities of specific employees and
their potential to drive organizations to success, calls for strategic efforts and initiatives to retain
them. Maintaining foreign expatriates in

Short Summary Of Nelson Mandela s Long Walk On Freedom
Elon Fiol
May 13, 2015 Long Walk to Freedom
I hate race discrimination most intensely and in all its manifestations. I have fought it all during
my life; I fight it now, and will do so until the end of my days. Nelson Mandela. He was birthed
into greatness and it is safe to say that he was a publicly acclaimed leader for his great efforts
during the Apartheid in South Africa. Many would identify a leader in many ways but, the most
important aspect of leadership is to go against the circumstances and make a difference. Mandela
s childhood experiences and life after helped shaped his beliefs and values that would label him
the man he became to be. In terms of culture and other aspects that would influence a child s life,
there is a correlation between childhood experiences and the kind of person we grow up to be.
In order to understand Mandela s life, we have to examine the content of his childhood
surroundings and his personal way of being. His life through trial and error would create a
legacy to learn from for many generations to come. He had passion for the fight against racial
oppression and rights of the people in South Africa but, his views and morals resonate with
people all over the world. Racial oppression exist in the most richest and poorest parts of the
world and is an ideology that has been deeply rooted since the beginning of time. It is people like
Nelson Mandela that put aside their own differences to represent the people of

Tim Berners Lee At Cern And The Good Old Html Essay
It all began with Tim Berners Lee at CERN and the good old HTML. CERN, which is now mostly
famous for its Large Hadron Collider, has recently gained major publicity by attracting the attention
of frivolous news chasing the possibility of a black hole. I think even cooler than a black hole
marking the end of humanity, is the virtual world that has largely impacted her evolution. The
internethappened partly because of the outcome of CERN s research and now we have a world
beside the real world, functioning in parallel and becoming the flesh and blood of a terrestrial
specy who was one day drawing on cave walls. HTMLlater became lingua franca of a world that
was becoming bigger while making our real world smaller and smaller.
HTML is the basic language understood by all WWW (World Wide Web
) clients. It can execute on
a PC under any operating system such as Windows, Mac, Linux, or on a Unix workstation.
However, it is limited in its computational power intentionally because it can prevent the execution
of dangerous programs on the client machine. Web programmers, who are now much more
sophisticated in their applications, provide different type of services to a growing demand of
interactive content. Today, most users have competent client machines which are capable of doing
much more than HTML allows. Fortunately, there is steady development in the field, and today the
number of capable applications is expanding. We can easily build database driven websites with

Border Security Essay
There are tons and tons of the supposed problems with immigration like, the threat to the U.S.
economy. But one of many big problems with immigration is the security problems it creates. The
security problems they make pose no direct security threat, but millions of undocumented migrants
being in the United Statesdistort the law, distracts resources, and it makes an effective cover for
terrorists and criminals. The solution for this problem focuses exclusively on border security. Many
people believe immigrationhas been a problem for a long time, but it become a matter of national
security shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. After the attacks, the George W.
Bush administration changed the role of immigration agencies, including them in a strategy to
combat terrorism. The Department of Homeland security took over jurisdiction of Immigration and
Customs Enforcement (ICE). At that point immigrants were established as a threat to internal
security. There is many solutions to this growing problem but the best way is to maintain and
increase the efforts to enhance border security.Congress and The Department of Homeland Security

How Was Canada West Formed
Canada West
By Eric H, Eric W and Rachel N.
How was Canada West formed?
Originally, there was no Canada West until February, 1841, when the Act of Union was
proclaimed. The Act of Union was suggested by Lord Durham, a wealthy politician who was sent
to investigate the troubles in Lower and Upper Canada (Lower Canada became Canada East, Upper
Canada became Canada West). The Canadas had various uprisings concerning the fact that they
wanted a Responsible Government. When Lord Durham got back to Britain, he gave the famous
Durham Report. He said that the Canadas should be granted a responsible government, and that
they should be unified into one. Durham wanted the Canadas to be united in hopes of the English

George Brown wanted true representation by population. The current situation was that both
Canadas had the same amount of seats in the parliament, but both Canadas also couldn t agree on
anything, leading to little decisions being made. They couldn t agree because Canada West was
English speaking while Canada East was French speaking, and the decisions that had to be made
affected both Canadas. Therefore, they both had different opinions. So in the end, George Brown
joined a coalition (an alliance that is made to get things done) with John A. Macdonald (Canada
West) and George Г‰tienne Cartier (Canada East) to form the Dominion of Canada (established
July 1st 1867). In the end, George Brown s idea, true representation by population, became the form

Persuasive Essay On Animal Rights
Mahatma Gandhi once said, The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the
way its animals are treated. The social issue of animal rights first arose in the 1970s; since then the
animal rights movement has gained momentum and a considerable amount of followers Animal
Rights. Organizations like PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals
) hold demonstrations
and protests in the streets and outside businesses to denounce the maltreatment of animals. There
are two sides on this issue, those who believe that the life of an animal is inferior to that of a
human s and those who deem that animals deserve to have a life free of human interruption What
Are Animal Rights. Without animal rights, our society can be deemed unfettered by empathy and
restrained by immoral values.
To begin with, why support animal rights? Some people are not joining the animal rights
movement frankly because they are not informed and up to date with the controversy. The
general public is aware of the animal testing taking place in labs daily. Adopting this strategy was
an effortless decision as it produced results and did not put the lives of other humans in danger.
However, the public isn t aware that the results provided aren t always guaranteed to be reliable
and that animals sometimes suffer slow, painful deaths as a result of these experiments. Our society
holds gruesome double standards, we would not dare think about holding experiments on our loved
ones, so why do we

Essay on The Debate Over Birds and Feathered Dinosaurs
The Debate Over Birds and Feathered Dinosaurs Because dinosaurs are animals that lived
millions of years ago, we are entirely dependent on the fossils that they have left behind for any
understanding that we hope to gain. As any paleontologist will tell you, fossil hunting is difficult.
There are no certainties, no guarantees. A certain amount of luck is as valuable as any scientific
knowledge. Every so often a discovery is made that attempts to shake up pre conceived notions of
how the dinosaurs actually lived or how they came to be. On June 22, 2000, in Oregon, scientists
announced the discovery of the oldest known animal to have feathers. Though no records indicate
how the age of the animal was determined, the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In fact, those that actually subscribe to the feathered Longisquama theory are a decided
minority in the paleontological community. The detractors of Nonavian Feathers in a Late
Triassic Archosaur believe that the feather like impressions in the fossil are not even feathers at
all. Based on the angle and shape of the imprints, many paleontologists believe that they were
left by highly modified scales , or possibly even ferns that had fallen on the animal s body after
death.4 Disregarding the feathers of Longisquama, and therefore disregarding its link to
Archaeopteryx, these scientists still fully support the dinosaur bird link. As mentioned before,
the extreme majority of paleontologists still subscribe to this idea. A recent discovery in the
western region of China seems to clarify the link between dinosaurs and birds. Living at roughly
the same time as Archaeopteryx, Sinovenator changii is very closely related to the bird yet is
classified as a dinosaur.5 This discovery is widely regarded as very good evidence that dinosaurs
and birds share evolutionary traits, and disputes the assertion that they are unrelated; as made by
those that support the feathered Longisquama findings. As if this finding wasn t enough, other
feathered dinosaurs have been discovered in the same region of China. Protarchaeopteryx and
Caudipteryx zoui lived about 125 and 145 million years

  • 2. Sinus Headache Research Paper 10 Ways to treat Sinus headaches I have suffered from sinus and allergy problems throughout my entire life. Even if I currently live in a drier climate, I still have sinus headache. Although, a sinus headache can be confused as a migraine (just as a sinus infection feels like a cold), which is how bad a sinus headache can be. Misery becomes company and it causes your full day to become unproductive from drowsiness regardless if the medication suggests that it is a non drowsy formula. From tossing and turning to I feel like crap the next day, here are some suggestions that will treat or sooth your sinus suffering. 1.Microwaveable buckwheat scarf or pad. Do you have a hard time going to sleep due to a headache caused by sinuses ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Most allergy medications do not give me the benefit of the doubt from their recommended dosage. The decongestant is supposed to break up any mucus that are causing sinus pressure. For whatever it is worth, if it is needed, a antihistamine with a decongestant would be ideal. Talk to your doctor if you have high blood pressure or if any of the over the counter allergy medications will interact with any medications that you are taking. All decongestant medications are located at your local pharmacy behind the pharmacy counter. Yes, you will have to ask for them and you must be 18 or older to purchase. 7.Hot Tea I personally love any hot tea. Hot tea in general just has so many properties to prevent you from dehydration and moisten your nasal cavity. Even though there may be that some teas are better than others, for me, it does not matter. It also feels great to the throat since any sinus issues would cause irritation to the throat. A holistic approach to relieving your agonizing headache, but not a long term conclusion. 8.Medicated nasal sprays Nasal sprays are to be use with the addition to other allergy medications. The spray is suppose to work as a decongestant in order to relieve and prevent sinus pressure. 9.Stay away from cigarette smoke and people wearing heavy perfume or ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Allegory In Animal Farm In society today, many are familiar with George Orwell s political allegory Animal Farm, with Disney s story about kindness to others in Beauty and the Beast, or with the children s tale Little Red Riding Hood warning of the dangers in the outside world. The common thread in these tales is that the authors use animals to communicate a specific message or story. Christian texts also use animal imagery to communicate a message as found in the symbols of the Evangelists. Recognized by Christians throughout the world, the symbols include the figures of a man representing Mathew, the a lion representing Mark, an ox representing Luke, and an eagle representing John, which together are known as the tetramorph. It has been widely noted that the many... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Translated from Greek to mean having four forms, the term tetramorph specifically refers to the four figures that symbolize the Evangelists that are responsible for writing the New Testament gospels. According to Ezekial 1:5, 10, the prophet describes his vision of four living creatures emerging from a bright cloud of fire as follows: As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man in front; the four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle at the back. Some scholars put forth that Ezekial was likely influenced by an image of Baal, an idol with four faces, those of a bull, a lion, a man, and a dragon. The idol was brought to Jerusalem during the eighth century BCE and the theory is that Ezekial may have re imagined the four faced divinity in his own vision. One could also argue that given the expansive territory that the Roman Empire covered during Ezekial s lifetime, apart from the Lascaux cave paintings, it is highly likely that he was familiar with images of the abovementioned artworks. Regardless of Ezekial s inspiration, Ezekial is credited with the initial vision of the four headed creature that holy men of the Christian religion interpreted into Christian ... • 4. Causes Of Southern Secession One of the most prevalent justifications and causes for southern secession was the protection of state and citizen rights. More specifically, the protection of the rights given to them, and protected by, the fifth amendment of the Constitution. This amendment protected the rights to property that American citizens possessed, which in the south translated into the protection of their slaves, whom they considered their property. The majority of southern opinion was that the northern states, or the union, were attempting to strike down the rights of [the] Southern slave holder and override every barrier which their constitution has erected for his protection (Document 2, p. 93). By this, the southern opinion was arguing that the northern majority in the federal government was intentionally limiting southern citizens constitutional rights, which in the 1860 s was a serious accusation. The most common instance used to support this was the, in the southern opinion, disregard for the Fugitive Slave Law of 1850. Many secessionists pointed out that this law was meant to protect property rights, but that multiple northern states were attempting to nullify it (Document 2, p. 94), thereby attacking southern rights in addition to the federal laws in place. A secondary driving force of southern secession was the belief that the southern states and citizens needed to protect themselves, and their way of life, from Abraham Lincolns administration and the implications that it ... • 5. Argumentative Essay On Evolution And Religion Evolution and creationism are one of the biggest debates Christians face when defending their faith. To most Christians, evolution is a theory and is not true at all. Though sharing the same DNA with an ape may make evolution seem true Creation backs up all the facts without leaving any gaps. Evolution is believed to be a theory regarded by Christians while Creation is a fact. When looking at evolution, there one can see many unsolved answers and gaps. Evolution is like a puzzle with missing pieces. It is unsolvable. Creation on the other hand, has no missing pieces and has an answer for everything. There are no gaps in creation, making it all the more believable. Though many try to solve evolution s puzzle and, consequently, they find themselves unable to do so. Evolution is hard to back up without having actual proof. Creation has proof through scripture making everything fit together like a perfect puzzle. This proves, everything about creation. Evolution however, does not completely go together due to its missing links. Without science, evolution is nothing. Creation uses both science and scripture to prove its validity. The definition of evolution is a constant change for the betterment of something. If evolution... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Evolutionists believe that an atom was sitting somewhere and exploded by chance. Once the atom exploded, the planets and everything on them formed all from this one atom. A unanswerable question that Evolutionists face is, what did the atom originate from? Everything must come from something and have a creator. Evolutionists also tend to believe that the earth is millions of years old. God made everything to its mature state. (Jackson) This explains why fossils are testing older then what they actually are. This is another reason why Christians also believe that Earth is young and not ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Dont Ask, Dont Tell Homosexuals should be allowed to serve openly in all branches of the US Military Gays should be allowed to openly serve in all areas and levels of the U.S. military because logic and the tide of political correctness dictate that such should be the case. The American armed forces had, since the early revolutionary war, held sodomy (then generally defined as the conduct of performing anal or oral sexual act) as grounds for discharge. It was in 1950, when the Uniform form Code of Military Justice prohibiting homosexual and heterosexual anal and oral sex was passed, that the gay ban began. Under President Ronald Reagan, the gay ban was more stringently enforced. In the 1990s, amidst vicious opposition to repeal the ban, President Bill ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, homosexual s open service should no longer be an issue of friction because the American society is increasingly moving towards open acceptance of gay developments that even include gay marriages and open military service. The fears of the deterioration of heterosexual military members in the event of open service of gays in all military branches are no longer supported by studies on civilian and enlisted service personnel s attitude. No less than Service members Legal Defense Network (SLDN) s Director of Law and Policy Sharra Greer have observed that in the present, Heterosexual service members serve alongside lesbian and gay colleagues every day and they are increasingly comfortable doing so (New Poll). There is, in fact, a considerable presence of gay and lesbian Americans serving in the armed forces. Despite the ban on open gay service, the different opinion survey results reflect how both the American public and the enlisted personnel themselves either find the matter of sexual orientation irrelevant to military performance, or recognize the contributions of the enlisted gay members to the country s military. An estimate places the number of gay and lesbian Americans serving in the armed forces at 65,000 (New Poll). Since the gay ban began to be initiated in 1943, applicants had been pre screened; for those who avoided or survived the pre screening, a considerable number of homosexual ... • 7. Howl By Ginsberg Essay Constraints of Confinement Trumpets blaring, bass booming, heads swaying to the beat in a tiny jazz club. Creativity is flowing and the Beat Poets of the 1950s are unknowingly establishing a counterculture movement, one that challenges the social norms and politics of their time and even transcends generations to remain relevant today. Poets like Jack Kerouac, William Seward Burroughs, Neal Cassady, and Allen Ginsberg were heavily influenced by jazz, adopting their seedy dress, manners, and hip vocabulary ( Beat Movement ) that changed their lifestyle and helped write their poetry. Specifically, Allen Ginsberg s poem Howl, is often regarded as the anthem of 1950s Beats ( Howl | Poem by Ginsberg ), a poem unstructured and free flowing to reflect Ginsberg s experiences. In Howl, Allen Ginsberg uses unique language and changes his tone throughout the poem in an attempt to break the constraints of confinement and seek his own forms of freedom. From the outset of Howl, Part I takes on a tone of delirium as the Beat Poets, sometimes referred to as the best minds or simply they , ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Ginsberg shows that the American river represents capitalism and how it washes away the creativity by exclaiming, Visions! omens! hallucinations! miracles! ecstasies! gone down the American River! (line 90). Essentially, all good things like the visions and ecstasy has been washed away and people have become constrained by the capitalist institution that is America. The tone of anger prevails in particularly in line 91, describing dreams, adorations, and illuminations as the whole boatload of sensitive bullshit that no one seems to care about. This metaphor is extremely important to the overall theme of breaking the constraints of confinement because the capitalistic society of America is in itself confining the creative thinkers that make up the Beat ... • 8. Lessons Learned In Non-Camp Counseling Over the summer I spent the entire month of July as a leader in training at a Girl Guide camp. I learned many essential skills for being an effective camp counselor, but not all of those skills were applicable in non camp life. Yet there was one lesson I learned that has stuck with me; and I try to keep it in mind everyday. Everyday at camp we did a variety of sessions where we would do an activity that would teach us a lesson about leadership in an enjoyable and engaging way. The activity I remember the most is an activity we did on one of the very first days. We had been told to wear running shoes that morning, and after breakfast we trekked through the forest and arrived in a clearing with many different low ropes courses. All of... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, self care was still incorporated into my day to day life. That started to change bit by bit as I started to get back into the swing of things. I started spending time with my friends I hadn t spoken to in weeks, I started a job far away from home and soon after I started school. Once my life started to get busy, I started to get too busy for self care. I forgot about my egg like I had forgotten about it on the ropes course. I would stay an hour or two late at work if they needed help even if that meant I wasn t going to be getting home until very late at night; even though I was scheduled for the day shift again the next day. I started to take my friends personal issues to heart and did my best to try and fix everything for them. • 9. Persuasive Essay On Grey Wolf If the entire species is taken off the endangered species list, the Gray Wolf will still be targeted by human predators. The controversy of Gray Wolves being dangerous to the human community is an opinion that needs to be recognised. Anti wolf extremists will stop at nothing until the Gray Wolf species is put to rest for good. Over the years the so called hunters have created a cultural background to the Gray Wolf. The bible states, Religious convictions support our hatred of the wolf. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In recent centuries, the removal of wolves has allowed smaller predators to dramatically increase in number and range, thereby increasing exploitation of their prey. Although this is of value to the ecosystem, the removal of Gray wolves has caused harm than benefit. Gray wolves have been replaced by the expandation of the coyote population, which has caused a large community of small predators such as foxes to prey on smaller mammals that are responsible for infecting ticks with Lyme disease. The increase of these smaller mammals, is a likely cause of the increase in a range of Lyme disease, (Levi et al. 2012). In Yellowstone National Park, scientists have been carefully documenting the impacts of wolves on the ecosystem, noting many changes for the better since reintroduction, (Berger et al. 2008; Beschta and Ripple 2010). As the ecosystem depends on the Gray Wolf to properly function predation, the wolves also regulate distribution and group size of each species, which impacts overall native biodiversity. Wolves primarily prey on large hoofed mammals such as deers, elk and moose. By preying on the most vulnerable (diseased, young, old, weak or injured) individuals, wolves can help keep prey populations more healthy and strong, (Carbyn ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

An accounting year starts on 1st July to the 30th June of the next year in the Commonwealth of Australia, for the purpose of tax assessment. All transactions that have taken place during this relevant year need to be considered and recorded in accordance with the ITAA97 . In regard to the business conducted by AUSGeo the question that arises is that the nature of income received is of statutory or capital as it has been noticed that the contract between AUSGeo and U Trains was terminated and in result of that AUSGeo received a compensation. Usually a compensation received in relation to regular business affairs is considered to be of income in nature as in the case of HEAVY MINERALS (1966) and ALLIED MINERALS (1989) where in the termination of the contracts did not affect the company in regard to its business and hence this income is assessable under s6 5 or 15 30 ITAA97. Social Media and Employee Voice However, until recently, most of the organisations s social media strategy of human resource management put emphasis on recruitment and neglect an important audience within the organisation: their own people (CIPD, 2013). Social media could be a power tool not only for establishing external interaction between employers and job seekers, but also for maintaining internal relationships between employers and employees. Furthermore, technology has blurred the physical boundaries between work and home and the recent years have seen the development of various type of employment such as teleworkers or outsourcing (Mustafa and Gold, 2013). For example, employees knowledge, experience, and talent are often underutilized when a workforce is dispersed over functional areas, departments, and the globe. Moreover, the multinational corporation in the global community has increased dramatically which means employees might have a great possibility to work across the globe. Given the emergence of teleworkers and global workforce, an effective communication system plays a pivotal role in managing relationship with both traditional and non traditional workers within organisations. • 15. 2016 Outlook For Automotive M A The 2016 Outlook for Automotive M A The easy money policy of the Federal Reserve and the cash swollen balance sheets of corporations and private equity firms alike contributed to an explosion of deal making in 2015. Long term growth in vehicle production and the positive outlook for vehicle sales over the next five years have made automotive one of the leading sectors for M A. We expect deal activity in the automotive sector to remain strong during 2016, but to taper off from 2015 levels. The biggest factor that will suppress deal activity this year is the impending interest rate increase by the Federal Reserve. Other deal squelching factors include geopolitical instability (e.g., in the Middle East and Russia) and the relative scarcity of companies that can be purchased at bargain prices. Favorable Conditions Exist for Automotive M A Even though macroeconomic factors will have a chilling effect on deal activity, automotive is likely to remain one of the hottest sectors for M A. • 16. What Is The Mood Of The Poem Blackberry-Picking In the poem Blackberry Picking, the author discusses the harshness of life by describing his experience picking blackberries. While the poem is rather dark, he maintains the message that childish hopes still exist despite the continual blockade of reality. In the first stanza, Heaney describes the berry picking as a rather unimportant task. The blackberries represent the hope and excitement that summer is: summer s blood was in it (6). The childish hopefulness is expressed in the conversational tone, created by the syntax found within the rhythm. The author organizes the sentences in a way that varies the stressed and unstressed syllable to keep the experience of berry picking casual and light. The rhyme scheme of AABB keeps a sense of organized structure throughout the poem. The author often includes slant rhyme to eliminate the sing song pattern many poems have: for /hunger (7 8). The rice riot indicated the social structure at that time that the peasants and low level workers were highly exploited and could not even benefit from the development of the economy. This riot meant the strong dissent to the oppression from the government and the industrial Zaibatsu from the peasants to normal Japanese people. To the government, this riot indicated that this economic development style could not be sustainable, thus entered a more democratic period 1920s. The riot had led to three major changes to the society. Firstly, the salary of the citizens and the purchasing price of the peasants were raised a little while the government tried to lower the market price by increasing imports from its colony Korea and Taiwan as well as other rice producing countries (Morgan 2011, 121 122), which slightly improved the living standard of the poor. The more important impact is in the government that Hara Takashi, who was the first untitled premier. This indicated the end of the Kazoku control of the government and the rise of the party politics. Since the cabinet of Hara, the premier and cabinet members could be untitled, which indicated a great progress for the Japanese democracy development. The rice riot also caused the strong opposition to the left wing ideology in the Japanese government. After the riot, most of the leaders in the movement were arrested and put to the death sentence. To avoid such a riot happening again, the government had a stronger opposition to the left wing movement and strikes (Morgan 2011, 125 134). For instance, even in 1925, a more democratic period, to avoid the spread the communism in Japan and other left wing ideology, the diet had passed Public Security Preservation Laws to delegalize the left wing parties. This energy, at the cellular level, supplied in the form of chemical potential energy stored in ATP needs to be regeneration in order to fuel more cellular activity and this can be done aerobically or anaerobically(Astrand 1956). Energy to sustain high intensity workouts cannot eventually be fully supported by anaerobic pathways, resulting in an increased reliance on aerobic metabolism (Bogdanis et al. 1996). The level of fitness to carry out anaerobic exercises may be influenced by aerobic capacity (Kaikkonen et al.2000, Tomlin and Wegner 2011). The planshould also be a continuity between change and a connection to the past that builds toward the futuredetailing objectives, rationale, strategies, and measurements. This approach to planning assists in developing a technology plan through minimizing risks by establishing basic evaluation criteria early in the process (pp 20 25) such as identification of measurable goals and insuring that all stakeholders are involved throughout the process. Knight (2011) and Senge (2001, 2012) recommend using a systems approach to planning and Picciano (2011) supports this by describing an implementationmodel that defines, designs, develops and disseminates technology in small incremental stages until satisfied that the technology is meeting expected goals on a limited basis before implementing on a larger scale (p. 25). Using a systems approach, a technology plan must identify operational feasibility and is often best implemented through a pilot or phased in process. In fact, according to the article, American Teens Are Even More Stressed than Adults , it was found that Millennials aged 18 33 were the country s most stressed generation. Many other articles also state that stress is mostly experienced by teenagers because they usually don t have the experience to juggle so many responsibilities that are presented to them. While the word stress many brings many teenagers into fear, there are two types of stress: good stress and bad stress. Good stress can push you forward to finish an assignment, or ask that girl or boy out in your science class. • 34. Systems Theory And System Theory Systems theory sees the system as a set of related components that work together in a particular environment to perform specific functions that are required of them to achieve the system s objective (Walker, 2012). Most people are part of a variety of systems and subsystems. For example, a family is seen as a system in itself but each member of the family may have different subsystems, such as their peers, education, job, recreational activities, etc. and all of these subsystems play a role in the functioning of the system being examined. Applied theorists of systems theorysee the system as goal seeking and when they discuss a problem within the system, it doesn t necessarily mean that something is wrong but rather that the situation needs to be better understood and a solution to be found and implemented for the system to continue operating smoothly (2012). The social worker has decided to utilize systems theory approach when working with the Brown family. The social worker finds it extremely important to look at this family as a system of individual working together and believes that the family as a whole cannot be completely understood without looking at how the individuals work together and getting a grasp on their dynamic. Each member of the family has designated roles and are expected to respond to each other in certain ways. The changes in these roles may cause dysfunction in the family system. Perhaps best known as the black eye of the administration and overshadowing his presidency s accomplishments, the Indian Removal Act was passed into law to allow the president to negotiate with Indians to purchase land they occupied and offer them lands west of the Mississippi. The Indian Removal Act of 1830 could also amount to pure greed and racism, the beginning of the arrogance of Americans in the belief that we deserve to take something just because we want it. Expansion By the early 1800 s with the Constitution firmly in place and the economy recovering, the population was growing. The settlers desire to expand further West and south met many hazards, the largest of which being the Native Americans that occupied those lands. Settlers were eager to raise large cotton and tobacco plantations and Native Americans were seen as an obstacle. The Indian Removal Act was the result of the settlers petitioning the government for more land and protection from the Savage Indians to the south and west in present day Mississippi and Alabama although there were few unprovoked attacks at the time. The need for land to grow more cash crops was all consuming.
