A positive classroom environment is a key factor in ensuring student success, we
all preform best in an atmosphere where we feel comfortable. A classroom
environment is more than the physical space, although that plays a critical part, it s
the way being in that space makes the student feel. Currently, I am the long term
substitute for a High School Math II class. While no one element that creates a
positive classroom environment, it is crucial to ascertain the needs of the students
and structure the classroom to meet those needs. The physical layout of the
classroom is standard, the seats are grouped in rows of five facing the main
whiteboard. A smaller secondary whiteboard is to the side, my desk is caddy
cornered in the rear of the room to allow semi private conversations and tutoring.
Math II is a demanding, fast paced class so all the desks face front and are moved
to accommodate group work. Seats are not assigned, and I encourage my students
to sit with their friends creating a built in resource. Seldom does a classroom
disruption occur, as students know that they will be allowed to speak to their
classmates after instruction. This class is filled with High School students who
value their independence, I treat them like young adults unless they prove that I

I find that food defines me, and my family by its humble upbringings that remind
us all to remember where we come from. My parents came from Romania to escape
Communism in 1989 by moving to the United States to give me and my siblings a
better life. One food in particular that represents my family s heritage, is the plate
called Ciorba which translates to bean soup. Not only does it taste amazing but it s
always a dish that resembles how grateful I am to have parents that sacrificed a lot

The Bantu not only raised livestock but they were also farmers. Growing anything
from cereal to root crops, the Bantu needed to migrate because they required more
land for their livestock and food production. At the beginning, the Bantu did not pose

and 570 nm. Whereas with deoxyhemoglobin we only observed one range peak at
540 nm. When we should have expected two peak range at 565 nm and 570 nm.

it might explain the lower reading of absorbance and the one peak we observed
from our data. One interesting observation we observed was that even though
oxygenated hemoglobin did yield the higher absorption overall. Deoxygenated
hemoglobin appears to yield a higher absorbance at the far ends of our wavelength

Perugino uses individualism by the characteristics he gave the apostle in the
foreground. For the most part each person has a different physical feature then the
ones around them and wears different clothing to show that they are them. The
apostles do not blend in with each other or the people in the middle ground. Perugino

Perception of the world around, as well as the perception of mind, is a very
complex notion to grasp. Epistemology is the study of knowledge, with regard to
methods, as well as what differentiates belief from opinion. This study is especially
important when discussing DharmakД«rti and knowing where his concern resides.

Some of the most riveting books in not just American literature but in all of
history, was written by this famous author. Twain, an American writer, is one of
the major authors of American fiction. Also, he is considered the greatest humorist
in American literature (Alan Gribben, np). Mark Twain was influenced by the
society s conditions he lived in, hence the incorporation of much of it in his
writing. Growing up in the 1870s, Twain s society was much different than
growing up now. He grew up during the outbreak of the civil war and he lived
during the time of major cynical political corruption that began in the late 1860s
