The Personality Typologies Of Carl Gustav Essay
Personality Typologies
Carl Gustav Young had quite an interesting mind. He believed that while he was growing up, his
mother had to different personalities. Shortly after, he began to believe he was more than one
person. He felt that he was both the child he actually was as well as a wise old man. Jung had a
lonely childhood. He was the only surviving child of his parents and when he wasn t dealing with
their completely opposite personalities, he was being left out when all the kids in school played.
Fortunately, he didn t mind being alone, on the contrary, he very much enjoyed the alone time he
could get to think about and reflect on events.
Ever since Jung was a boy, he looked deeper into the purpose of objects and events, asked
theoretical questions that no regular boy would ask and came up with possibilities that no one
could take seriously.
Carl Jung was born on July 26th, 1875 in Kesswil, Switzerland. Shortly after graduating from the
University of Zurich, Jung became a Psychiatrist. He went onto founding a new school of
Psychotherapy called Analytical Psychology, eventually becoming a very famous Swiss
Psychiatrist. Analytical Psychology is based on the idea that experiences dramatically shape who
you are and the way you live your life as well as predict the way you will be living in the future.
This was also sometimes called Jungian analysis. The point of Jungian analysis was individuation.
Individuation is the process of one forming his or her own personal

Essay about Production Report on Thriller Film
Production Report on Thriller Film
For my production unit, I chose Brief 1: Thriller Film. This is due to my interest in them and the
confidence I have in producing my own, which I found from GCSE television advertising work and
in my ability to deconstruct existing films.
In order to fulfil my brief successfully, I had to perform several areas of research, which will
make the product look like products in real life and show that I know and can use the appropriate
codes and conventions. I also watched a non Hollywood film, the French film La Haine .
Comparing the two different sorts of films, emphasised the codes and conventions that I needed to
use for my classic Hollywood film. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This was done by putting key objects or people in the vanishing point and a lot of use of doors to
show the many possibilities.
Another method of research was to find an audience s opinion, by creating and distributing a
questionnaire. The questions were based on thriller film viewing and possibilities for a new thriller
film. I asked ten people to fill it in and collated the results in order to find out what film viewers
want from a film. I found out that people enjoy thriller films because they are very different to other
film genres and they enjoy the suspense, that psychological thriller films are popular, that
completely original narratives are preferred, which are realistic. That a fast editing pace and
limited action and violence is important in a thriller film. A film on child abduction, as this is a
particularly topical subject in the news at the moment, with a male and female hero/ine team
would be popular. This means that my idea for the narrative of the film would be popular if it was
made and released and that the film would have lots of suspense but little action or violence.
This gives me a firm idea of what my film must contain in order to fulfil the genre and be popular.

Fee Fees And Detections
Everyone makes bad decisions. If a person gets behind the wheel while under the influence of
drugs or alcohol, they may be charged with a DWI. This is a serious charge. While there are
some who may believe they can beat the charge without the help of a DWI Attorney in Bel Air
MD, this is a gamble. After all, the legal process is often complex and, without a good
understanding of the law, it can be difficult to know what to do to ensure the case has the best
outcome possible. When a lawyer is hired, a person can t just choose any legal representation.
They need to take the time to find the right person for the job. Prior Cases One of the first things
to look for when searching for a DWI Attorney in Bel Air MD is the past cases they have handled.
Are they similar to the situation the person is involved in? What was the outcome? Gathering a bit
of background information about the attorney in question is the best way to ensure they are the
right person for this job.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Prior to hiring anyone, it is a good idea to ask about their fees and how they expect payments.
There are some lawyers who will expect full payment upfront, while others are fine with arranging

Jupiter s Heroic Journeys
For our next Flagship mission to space, I believe it should be different from the rest of our
intergalactic journeys. We have sent rovers and satellites to Mars, satellites to other planets, but
we really haven t gone to far from the norm in today s space journeys. If we really want to find life
on other bodies in our solar system, we have to explore our options. We could explore Jupiter,
Venus, Encleadus, or even some of Jupiter s moons. But what are the main characteristics that are
need to sustain life? Water is the most important in my opinion along with the opinion of many
other scientists. So what bodies do we know that have the best probability of having water on
them? Europa, one of Jupiter s moons we believe has some sort of ocean... Show more content on

One would be to confirm what is under the crust, whether it be water ice or an under the crust
ocean containing more than 2x water than there is on Earth according to NASA. If we conclude
that there is actually water, then we can either send more instruments or humans to Europa to
find out if there is life in the water beneath the crust. This may be a hard task to achieve since the
water ice crust is estimated to be 5 20 miles thick according to NASA, which would be
problematic, but if we could find a way to figure out if there is water, it could be the greatest
discovery in space. Scientists believe that due to tidal heating, it would allow for liquid water to be
stable underneath the crust. Tidal heating is when a moon orbiting a planet in an elliptical pattern is
compressed and elongated resulting in flexing; this flexing of the orbiting moon produces higher
temperatures, which is believed to stabilize the acclaimed ocean beneath Europa s crust according
to NASA. Also, if we found there to be water beneath the water ice crust on Europa, there may be
under water processes that are capable of sustaining life like there is on Earth. On Earth, we have
deep water hydrothermal vents called black smokers that produce nutrients to bacteria that sustain
life for tubeworms and giant clams and such. It is possible that if Europa contains water that there
may be a similar form of chemosynthesis that would sustain alien life forms. To recap

Algonquian Culture Analysis
When I was a little girl, my grandmother told me an Algonquian story of a man and his family
who got lost during the harsh winter so they hid in a den near a valley. Soon, whatever food they
had was all gone and the family started to starve with nothing to eat. The man soon grew so
hungry he ate his eldest son, thinking that he had plenty other sons until more and more of his
children fell victim to his gluttony. As his wife, the woman could do nothing but grieve the loss of
her children up until the husband turned into such a horrible abomination that he did not care
about his wife s safety and ate her as well. Grandmother explained to me that those stories were
warnings to our people and the results of what can happen if we commit the sin of eating manflesh.
The man is now recognized in the Algonquian culture as the first Wendigo. It was my fault that
we got lost because I didn t consider how far we were from our tribe, and the severe threat of the
white men that we heard stories of. Achak said that the white men were inhibited with the evil

were difficult, but now the taste is insatiable. I kept eating and eating, but no matter what I ate, I
felt hungrier than ever. As time passed, I found out that I could reach the opening for some
reason, even though it was almost twice my height. My skin began to look more strange, and my
hands were mutilated, but for some reason it didn t even bother me like it would ve before. Food

The Cultural Types Of Water Management Practices
Due to influence by personal perspectives, ideologies, values and context, local culture is argued
as confusing framework for water governance (Tortajada, 2010). It is different in any regions,
because of natural challenges, systems of knowledge and variety of needs. In doing so, it may
increase the complexity of water managementpractices, and should be attached to a specific culture
(Jackson, 2006, Pahl Wostl et al., 2008). Arguably, it is not sufficiently valid and reliable to be
used to guide water planning and policy. However, water culture provide reflective information
about societal water practice changes that maintain through trial and error over long time (TГ bara
and Ilhan, 2008, Pahl Wostl et al., 2008, Johnston and Donahue, 1998). This is a constant process of
adaptation involving the redefinition of attitudes and behaviors(Johnston and Donahue, 1998). The
cultural types will differ in their underlying basic values, beliefs and assumption making them a
useful tool in understanding the circumstances that affect the policy. Some cultures have flexible
water norms to adapt the rapid changes and technology innovation that generates new meaning for
the environment (Jackson and Palmer, 2012). Thus, the necessity of capable institution is crucial to
put the relevance of water changes and breakdown to the ground level (TГ bara and Ilhan, 2008).
Another challenge is climate change and multiple impact from changes in precipitation, increase in
drought, river peak

Storytelling In Storytelling
Besides art based on nature, storytelling is the heart of Waldorf education. Children under seven
years are introduced to fairy tales and nature stories. As they progress to an elementary stage, they
are introduced to folk fairy tales where they learn about diverse cultures, fables which teaches them
moral values, and folk fairy tales about ancient times and historical events These stories form the
basis of basic education.
As identified earlier, Waldorf educationemphasizes developmental learning. Children are not
introduced to formal learning until elementary class at age 6 7. Pre school pedagogy emphasizes
imagination and imitation of practical activities. The imitation approach aims at informing the child
of the notion that the world is a perfect place (Ullrich, 2014). Thus, the educational approach
emphasizes holistic conduct, character, and personality among the teacher and the environment. Pre
school children are discouraged from using technology until elementary with the belief that it
conflicts with the developmental process of a child (Woods and Glenys, 2006). At this
developmental stage, children are using their power of imagination to learn and technology such as
Television can expose them to unhealthy content. Besides formal learning, early stages of
elementary curriculum continue to nurture imagination. Formal learning involves reading, writing,
artwork, and handwork. The academic subjects in elementary grades are introduced through
storytelling.

Love And Relationship In Shakespeare s Milun
Milun is a story about a knight who is in love with a mistress, but are unable to be together as
she is forced to marry a wealthy baron. Milun s and mistress s uncontrollable lust and love
consequently cause them to conceive a child together. The fear of their affair being shown in
broad daylight causes them to send their child to live with his aunt. Milun entrusts his son with
a ring as a parting gift so that he would be able to recognize him when he gets older. Milun and
his mistress are separated from each other in order to hide their relationship. They maintained
their relationship for twenty years by communicating in a unique way. They were able to send
messages to each other through a swan. This was done by making the goose fast making the
goose hungry so that it would go back to the place where it knows it will surely be fed. Within the
time gap of twenty years, their son grows older and learns about his father and all his chivalrous
actions. In the excitement of knowing his father s virtues Milun s son sets out on a journey to find
him. We are able to see that in order to maintain a reputationone must have honor and integrity even
if it means sacrificing personal desires.
In order to have honor and integrity one must be able to sacrifice their own personal happiness. In

Example Of Communicative Language Teaching
Have you chosen one of the best ways to teach your students today? Which one did you prepare? It
will be better to choose Communicative Language Teaching as one of the approaches in teaching
English. Communicative Language Teaching or CLT derived from communicative competence
(Hymes, 1971). It is a teaching approach which has goals, teachers and learners roles, process of
learninglanguage, and also can facilitate learning activities (Richards, 2006). CLT underlines
interaction between students. In the Communicative Language Teachingclassroom, the teacher has
a role as a facilitator who will only facilitate the learning process, not become a model. Moreover,
the students are going to be more active in learning the language (Richards, 2006). Thus, CLT is a...

When they talk and the teacher find some mistakes in their pronunciation, it will be fixed by the
teacher. Like, when the students will do an activity in the class then the teacher apply a dialogue or
role play. When they are talking, they must pay attention for the pronunciation. But, if the students
pronunciation is unclear, the teacher can fix it directly. Briefly, by increasing speaking ability,
students vocabulary, non verbal expertise and fluency in pronunciation will be better. To conclude,
Communicative Language Teaching is a teaching method that highlights interaction of students. It
is a good way to be applied for students because it can build cooperation among students by
working together in group or pair which can make them share their ideas to each other and show
their critical thinking. CLT also can facilitate activities in class which are interesting and fun such
as the role play activities, interviews, and games which need teacher s creativity in the process of
learning. Indeed, it can help the students to develop their speaking aptitude, so their fluency in
pronunciation, vocabulary, and non verbal skill are going to be

Research Paper On Fetus
In the video titled Fetus at 12 weeks, in which I observed, it is really hard to tell how big the
fetus is but it is the size of a plum. Which is only a few inches long. The fetus has only begun to
use reflexes really well. The fetus is actively squirming in the beginning. Though the mother will
unlikely feel the fetusmove at this time for at least a few more weeks. The fetus is moving well
developed arms and legs which mimics a child running outside the womb and putting hands and
fingers to his/her face. We note that fetal activity is an early sign of milestones to come. These
milestones are important in normal development.
The fetus may develop at a different rate and different skills than another fetus, it is important that
they reach certain milestones. If the fetus is advancing at a normal schedule we can come to the
conclusion that the fetus is healthy and will not have difficulties. For instance, fetus can suck their
thumb in the womb. This is important for the fetus once he/she is born to receive nourishment.
The child will eventually be able to chew and swallow close to the end of the year of the child s

Critical Analysis of a Game:

The game I have chosen for my critical analysis is Red Dead Redemption. Red Dead Redemption
was made, published, and engineered by a company called Rockstar Games (Rockstar Website).
The major distributor of the game is a company who happens to own Rockstar, Take Two

for creating the popular and controversial game series Grand Theft Auto. Rockstar differs very

I played the game on my Xbox 360 console. To capture the experience of the Wild West, Rockstar
consulted some historical experts in the field, along with channelling a lot of time and money into
the graphics of the game. According to a New York Times online article, Rockstar spent between
80 100 million dollars on developing the game (Schiesel 2010). I mention this statistic because this
comes to show the new era of devotion Rockstar brought to video game production.
In any video game, soundtracks can be an incredible boost in its overall character. The soundtracks
in Red Dead Redemption are authentic; it gives the game historical flavour. What I mean by this
is you truly get a feeling of the Western experience. Rockstar brought on composers Woody
Jackson and Bill Elm. In a behind the scenes video, the composers explain that it is essential for
them to find a balance, paying homage to what was there but also trying to add our stamp to the
music (GamerSpawn, 2010). Another interesting fact they mentioned was the ability for the game
to launch certain lines of music to start based on your actions. For example, if you jump on a
horse, a bass line rolls in. If the player is in a shootout, the music intensifies. The music helps
reinforce the player s connection with the historic west by creating familiar sounds associated with
the Western era.
Before I mention the problem spaces of the game, I would like to continue back to explaining

DP updates the account of the investor.
Demat options
There are many hundreds of Depository Participants (DPs) offering the Demat account facility in
India as of September 2011. A comparison of the fees charged by different DPs is detailed below.
There are a few distinct advantages of having a bank as a DP. Having a Demat account with a
bank DP, usually provides quick processing, accessibility, convenience, and online transaction
capability to the investor. Generally, banks credit the Demat account with shares in case of
purchase, or credit a savings account with the proceeds of a sale, on the third day. Banks are also
advantageous because of the number of branches they have. Some banks give the option of
opening a demat account in any branch, while others restrict themselves to a select set of branches.
Some private banks also provide online access to the demat account. Hence, the investors can
conveniently check online details of their holdings, transactions and status of requests through their
bank s net banking facility. A broker who acts as a DP may not be able to provide these services.

Dbq Black Death
In order to understand the significance the Black Death played in bringing about the decline in
population in the second half of the fourteenth century, a number of issues need to be considered.
To begin with, the Black Death s significance should be looked at, including its victims, the rural
and urban population, and recovery in the 1350s. Also, we have to look at the impact of later
plagues, and the age and gender specificity of them. However, we should also look at other factors
that affect the population, such as fertility and change in marriage trends. Given the particular
question we should also look at the pre plague population to get a better understanding of the

The over population meant that more food had to be produced in order to sustain the population,
however, economic changes and changes in climate caused bad harvests and famine.
Unsurprisingly, there was a disproportionate rise of mortality among the village poor in times of
famine. Falling temperatures caused severe harvest failures between 1315 and 1322, with the
famine of 1315 to 1317 being called The Great Famine which is said to have killed 10 to 15% of
the population. With so many people living on the edge, the succession of bad harvests were
bound to have a catastrophic affect. A dearth of food encouraged the already high death rate and
also affected the birth rate as it discouraged fewer marriages and children, and we have already
seen the effects this had on the population after the plague. On the Winchester manors heriot
payers during the famine of 1315 to 1317 averaged at 142 annually, compared with 48 in the worst
years of the 1270s. Ieuan Gethin described the plague in Wales as being a rootless phantom which
has no mercy but the famines introduced an era of high mortality which lasted until the Black Death
, thus showing continuity in population decline. The Postan theory suggests that the plague did
not start the downturn, but the damage had already been done before the plague, and the failure
to repair the damage had been one of the causes for the delayed recovery. For instance the already
high death rates due to famine made the Black Death merely a catalyst to decline. However, the
trend is different all over the country, as Razi found for Halesowen. It is clear, however that famine
conditions in 1369 also helped to reduce the

The Little Albert Experiment, By John B. Watson And Mary...

The Experiment
What do Psychologists , little boys, a hammer, and rabbits have in common? Sounds a tab bit
disturbing, but in the world of psychology experiments were absolutely necessary to prove the
theory. Everyone has a fear, but the question is, how did that fear come to be? Can you cure fear?
These are some of the questions that John B. Watsonand Mary Cover Jones hope to answer
The little Albert Experiment
According to Schultz and Schultz (2012), the little Albert Experiment was an example of stimulus
generalization. This experiment was conducted by John B. Watson and his graduate student Rosalie
Rayner, at Johns Hopkins University. John B. Watson showed evidence of Classical conditioningin
his experiment with little Albert.
As Mr. Watson began to show the child a series of objects, one of which included a rat. The child
showed no signs of fear. Once John B. Watson felt he could condition a child to fear another

Statement of Purpose
Introduction
The remarkable success of Kalpana Chawla is an inspiration to all Indian women, with special
meaning to those involved in the study of math and science. Kalpana s untimely passing as part of
the Challenger crew is a paradox for the world to understand, yet for her, a woman of remarkable
intellect and clarity of vision, she passed doing what she loved: exploring, pushing the boundaries
of space and furthering scientific discoveries. She is an inspiration and force in my life, and serves
to show that with enough intensity and focused effort, remarkable accomplishments can be attained
quickly throughout ones life.
Growth In Engineering Years
My passion for engineering and electronics began prior to beginning my undergraduate major in
Electronics and Telecommunication. During those years prior to beginning my undergraduate
major, I was fascinated with how mechanical, electro mechanical and electronic devices worked.
Those years were invaluable from a learning standpoint, as I was able to develop analytical and
engineering skills I would use throughout my academic career.
During this time period I initiated many projects, the majority of which included mechanical
inventions, electromechanical devices and explorations of electronics.
During this time I also began to develop an interest in computer networking and the study of the
TCP/IP command set. Specifically I became fascinated with how the Blackberry could
simultaneously send and

How Did Religion Influence Persia
Aside from the changes in government, there were many religious influences occurring around
Khayyam as well. Persia was known to follow the Zoroastrian religion. Zoroastrianism is a
monotheistic, pre Islamic religion, of ancient Persia founded by Zoroaster in the 6th century B.C.
(Oxford Dictionary). Although this religionhad existed in Persia for a long time, the invasion of the
Turks brought the Islamreligion into the country. This left Persians feeling lost. On one hand,
they were familiar with Persian Zoroastrian, but on the other, Islam was the religion that their
country was headed towards. Although there were people who felt obligated to stay true to their
past beliefs, the Islamic way of life was fast spreading and many people began to devote their
lives to it. This conversion to Islam began as gradual, but quickly became more demanding in
order to get more Persians to convert. In the process, many acts of violence took place, Zoroastrian
scriptures were burnt and many priests executed (Wikipedia). Followers of Islam believed in the
submission to Allah. They accomplished this by... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Omar Khayyam disagreed with both the Islamic religion and this lifestyle. He did not like the fact
that there was a belief in the afterlife or in a God. This was a nonsensical topic to him because of
the fact that it could not be proven. The islamization of Persia gave rise to an intellectual
renaissance in various forms of learning: Persian Literature (poetry and prose), Arabic language,
and philosophy and ethics (Hosseini 659). In Khayyam s case, islamization lead to the creation
of his poems that are still popular thousands of years later. He used his opinion of the Islam
religion to serve as the topic in several of his poems. His outlook on the new government and
religion fueled his writing and allowed him to share his

The Nwmp s Annexation Of Canada
The lands of Canada are vast and spread for thousands of miles touching two seas. The
government of Canada was set in the East in Ontario and could only reach so far. When British
Columbia joined confederation in 1871 it posed an issue to the government of Canada, the West
coast was too far away to easily control. As a solution to this the Canadian government created
the Northwest Mounted Police (NWMP), a group of officers who had jurisdiction on the West
coast. The NWMP were successfully able to stop and prevent the illegal whiskey trade plaguing
the West, prevented the annexation of Canada s western land, and most of all brough law and
order to the lawlessness that existed in the West. These brave men made the West a safer place for
settlers. In the early 1870s American traders came from America into the Northwest of Canada and
they were causing troubles for the Canadian government. While most Canadian traders were under

One thing the American people wanted was more land. Moving North into Canada would be easy
enough to take. The lack of defense may have been enough for the American government to move
North until the NWMP arrived. Word of the NWMP and their deeds had already made its way to
the ears of Americans and the raw efficiency of the NWMP discouraged any outlaws thinking they
could go North. With troops now holding the fort in the Northwest Americans did not want conflict
and felt that going North would not be their best option. If the Americans did go North they would
be met with resistance from the NWMP and any other soldiers sent by the Canadian government to
fight in lands that the Canadians knew well giving them the advantage. Having police in the
Northwest assured both governments that if there was an attack on Canadian land there would be

In the heart pounding book, The Maze Runner by James Dashner, Thomas, the main character,

too ill to look closely at his surroundings. (pg 5). Thomas doesn t know how he got to The Glades

have no memory. Thomas asks questions, but questioning will get him killed by the Keepers.
Massive stone walls, hundreds of feet high, moving like sliding glass doors. (pg 28). Every night
the walls move as if they where closing in all the teenagers. Thomas is standing there watching the

Introduction
Cerebral palsy is a group of disorders that permanently affects an individual s ability to move such
as body movement, muscle control and contraction, this can be caused by a combination of
abnormal development or damage to parts of the brain that control movement, balance and posture.
(2) Cerebral palsy is the most common movement disorder in children and premature birth is one of
the many risk factors associated with the condition. This critical review examines an article that
links Magnesium sulfate in lowering the chances of diagnosing cerebral palsy in infants. (1) The
article, A Randomized, Controlled Trial of Magnesium Sulfate for the Prevention of Cerebral palsy
is written by ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With this being said the risk of stillbirth or infant death was slightly higher in the magnesium
sulfate group when compared to the placebo group. Cerebral palsy was diagnosed in 41 children
from 40 of 942 pregnancies in the magnesium sulfate group and in 74 children from 73 of 1002
pregnancies in the placebo group. The percentages of mild, moderate or severe cerebral palsy in
the magnesium sulfate group were 2.2%, 1.5%, and 0.5% respectively and 3.7%, 2.0% and 1.6%
respectively in the placebo group.
Critique
The study is relevant to researchers as cerebral palsy is the leading physical disability condition in
childhood and globally approximately 17 million people are suffering from the condition. (2)
Researchers believe that fetal exposure to magnesium sulfate before preterm birth can reduce the
risk of cerebral palsy, if so this can aid medical doctors in preventing the condition as evidence is
lacking for effective interventions targeted toward participation, environment, or personal factors.
(1)
This study does not add anything new towards the condition of cerebral palsy, as the author knew
that by administrating magnesium sulfate to mothers will decrease the likelihood of cerebral palsy
being diagnosed within an infant that was born pre maturely. This knowledge is known with
previous randomized, placebo controlled trials of magnesium

Computer Management System And Its Impact On Business...
1.2 According to David Ingram (2015) CMS refers to systems and processes to collect data from
different sources in order to present information in a more understandable layout. Beynon Davies
(2015,p.2) argues Computer management system it s extremely significant for business activities
overall, because for businesses data it s the most powerful factor as information its critical to create
competiveness among private sector, as through systems information organisations are always
aware of anything related to sales, orders, stock control and records , and this information it s what
it contributes for businesses realisation overall due to the ability that each systems has on gathering
up to date data. CMS minimizes overload data, because the system has the ability to modify the
larger amount of information data by summarizing everything in order to avoid managers to get
confused and get flooded with exhaustive details (Management hub,2016). CMS function at some
point its mainly to focus on helping organisations functions such forecasting ,payroll or costing to
develop more efficiently, as CMS role is to make sure that only correct information its collected
from different sources and then processed and delivered to the right departments , because MIS
function is to fulfil managers necessities at all levels (Role of the management information

The Pros And Cons Of Organic Farming
We pay the doctor to make us better when we should really be paying the farmer to keep us
healthy. (Foodie Food Girl, 2017). Commonly said, one pays for what is received. As seen today,
many of the human population pays more for the health care they receive, than the food they
nourish their bodies with. In reality, if the human population was more diligent in the food they
picked to nourish their bodies they could potentially avoid the expensive medical cost. Organic
crops and products are said to be healthier than non organic crops and products this is typically
determined by the one consuming the products. All though there are various views of which is
more beneficial and less harmful to the body there are many factors and issues to the equation.
Various issues that make up the ongoing controversy over organic versus conventional farming such
as safety, financial impact, and production.
Organic farming is viewed as a safer and more nutritious way of farming and eating. As many may
say it is a personal view of the lifestyle one desires, there are statistics on the matter. Many people
believe that organic food is safer, healthier, grown without pesticides and avoids harmful intensive
farming practices commonly associated with conventional agriculture. (Are organic and non GMO

The Distribution Network Of Amazon Essay
Page 102 5. The most recommended distribution network suited for highly differentiated
products would be drop shipping network. It is the process where shipping avoids the retailers,
meaning the retailer isn t informed to hold any type of inventory for the customers, and instead,
the products are directly delivered to the end customers from the manufacturers. In this network,
the supply chain can divert and expand low level of inventory to a higher level of availability. It
also gives an opportunity for manufacturers to reschedule the customization when necessary. This
is excellent for sellers that are able to build to order, and for end customers who wants highly
differentiated products that are in low demand but are highly valued and are willing to wait for
delivery. 10. Amazon is a company that sells many open product categories online by allowing
customers to take the time to search and shop through the product offerings. Many product
categories that are offered on Amazon may include device accessories, kindle devices, beauty,
books, electronics, health personal care, etc. The foremost product category that can offer the
greatest advantage compared with a retail store chain is most definitely the books category.
Reason to this is that the company has expanded the customer s online shopping experience by
offering such a wide range of physical and electronic books, depending on the preference of the
customers. They are able to search for the top rated selling

The American Counterculture Movement
The American counterculture movement began with the assassination of U.S. President John F.
Kennedy, the termination of the United States combat involvement in Southeast Asia, the end of
the draft in 1973, and the resignation of President Richard M. Nixon in 1974. Students for a
Democratic Society (SDS) was the main organizational groups of the campus based radical
movement known as the New Leftin the 1960s. The New Left was a term used to describe the left
wing movements in the 1960s and 1970s.
Students for a Democratic Society were the largest and most influential radical student organization
of the 1960s. At the beginning, there were just a few dozen members, inspired by the civil rights
movement and initially concerned with equality, economic justice, peace, and participatory
democracy. With the escalation of the Vietnam War, SDS grew rapidly as young people protested
the destruction wrought by the United States government and military. Polite protest turned into
stronger and more determined resistance as rage and frustration increased all across the country.
We are people of this generation, bred in at least modest comfort, housed now in universities,
looking uncomfortably to the world we inherit, according to the manifesto known as the Port Huron
Statement. The Port Huron Statement was created by 60 young Americans who traveled in June
1962 to a retreat at the base of Lake Huron, Michigan, to hash out their beliefs about social change.

In everything, there are constraints to what you can do in that subject. I am currently in a class

The Nervous And Endocrine Systems
The nervous and endocrine systems are arguably two of the most important systems in any form of
complex organism. They are particularly complex and important in humans. Both systems,
especially in their cooperation, are essential for our bodies to function properly. Any simple fault or
damage to any aspects of these systems that goes untreated could mean at best chronic disease, or at
worst death. This is because both systems together maintain homeostasis in our bodies.
Homeostasis in the meticulous control of bodily processes to maintain a stable internal
environment that allows us to function adequately. This essay will describe and explain how these
systems work both separately and together to maintain homeostasis in the human body.
The nervous system is the first port of call in our body s reception and response to both internal and
external stimuli. Its many components enable us to see, hear, smell, taste and feel the many aspects
of touch, such as pressure and pain, along with many more physical senses such as heat, hunger,
thirst and balance. This system is also wholly responsible for our control of movement.
It is made up of many branches that coordinate different nervous activities in our bodies. The two
main parts are the central nervous system (CNS), which is composed of the brain and spinal chord
(Fig. 1), and the peripheral nervous system (PNS), which has several more extensions. The PNS
consists of the nerves that radiate from the CNS; this includes the 12

Religions differing has caused many conflicts throughout history. The feeling of attachment to
tribalism and fake patriotism under the umbrella of religion is stronger and more apparent than

spirituals for encouragement and hope to carry them through the rough times they experienced.
Even today, most people enjoy listening to music because they can relate to the things about which

The song deals next with freedom when it says, You can take my life, my land my liberty/Lock

Conformity In Ken Kesey s One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest
Merriam Webster defines conformity as action in accordance with some specified standard or
authority . As it is a type of influence that involves change in belief or behavior in order to fit
into a group. Where in Ken Kesey s One Flew Over the Cuckoo s Nest, conformity is a matter of
life or death. In the noveland in life, conformity is viewed as an easy way to shape into society s
mold. Societal expectations are shaped by the so called Combine a mysterious and in the dark
figure that is view as the puppeteer of the way society functions. In the Novel, Chief Bromden a
long time patient at a psychiatric ward is the first to recognize the Combine and its powers. At the
same time that this novel was written, the society of the 1950s was being challenged by a group
known as the beat generationwho wanted to reject and challenge the stringent norms that the
majority deemed as appropriate and necessary. While many members of society supported the
beliefs of conformity, in many ways the need for societal misfits was vital to secure a community
where all people would have a voice. While many did their best to challenge the Combine, in the
end the Combine would prevail, but the ideas of those who spoke out would resonate with others.
The Combine is an unstoppable force fueled by conformity, but Ken Keseyexplains that the only
way for progress in the novel (and society) is for a McMurphy type of character to challenge the
Combine.

Option Pricing
Paper trading really helps you grasp the fundamentals, However, when buying and selling options
in the open marketplace with real money, things change quite a bit. During your simulations I bet
you wondered about option pricing. If you wanted to geek out, you could use a complicated
formula like the infamous Black and Scholes equations. Instead of eating aspirin by the hand full,
let s just focus on the basics. An option is a derivative, which means that it is based on the value of
another asset. Thus, the stock price or underlying asset is an important feature in determining the
pricing. When you want to buy a stock, you want to buy it for a cheap as possible, this works the
same way for options. Here are the factors ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
You make money with an option if there is a favorable change in price of the underlying asset, but
this must happen before expiration. Therefore, the longer the lifetime of the option, the better
chance there is for that opportunity. Generally, the more time remaining on an option makes it
worth more However, there is also more time for the stock to move in an unfavorable direction as
well.
TYPE OF OPTION:
The type of option (put or call) is also highly relevant to pricing. Calls are expected to increase in
value as the price of the underlying asset increases. While puts are expected to increase in value
as the underlying asset s price decreases. The other factors discussed can also affect the option.
Options for stocks that pay a dividend are often worth less because the dividend is priced into the
option. VOLATILITY: Some would argue that volatility is the greatest factor in determining the
price of an option in the marketplace. Realistically, all of the other factors, strike price, type, interest
rates, dividend, are known, where volatility isn t. Since options are derivatives, stocks and options
are interconnected. For either investment, volatility is one of the most important elements to
consider. As an option buyer, you can use historical movements in price to make some projections.
However, option prices are based on IV implied volatility. Implied volatility, most often

Example Of Knowledge Argument
INTRODUCTION OF THE THESIS According to Currie (2015), philosophy is the activity of
searching for a reflective understanding of ourselves and also to know about the natural and
social worlds we live in. As we know, philosophy is also related to the phrase thinking about
thinking. We can get to know what is actually happening in this world and we also will solve some
of the confusions that we face in life. Knowledge is the fact and information of knowing something
that through some experiences. In addition, argument is the process of arguing or disagreeing about
a statement that has discussed. For example, we might argue about the statement that we have the
opposite view from the others so we start to make up some proves to solve this matter. In this
assignment, we will discuss about the knowledge argument. From a thesis that we have read, we
could identify its position stated by Frank Jackson.
Knowledge argument stands against physicalism which is proposed by Frank Jackson. Physicalism
or materialism is distinguished with phenomenal consciousness of experiences that depicts mind is
subjective and implies physicality.
Frank Jackson believes that the physical truth seen is not always the whole truth. There is also
phenomenal truths learnt through the things we see where ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Civil War During The Reconstruction Era
During the Reconstruction Era, Congress passed many laws to provide equal rights to people of
color. But at the local level, specifically in the South, many Democrats took the law into their
own hands. They supported the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) hoping to restore the pre Civil War social
hierarchy. The texts in Going to the Source illustrates two groups of individuals who opposed the
KKK. In testimonies given by white witnesses, Republicans from the North felt the KKK posed a
political and social danger in the South, but did not feel intimidated. The testimonies given by
black witnesses were people who had experience of the Klan s violence, and felt their lives were
threatened. The Klan s attacks on whites were more inclined towards social harassment, while their
attacks on blacks, which consisted of voting intimidation and night rides, were violent and abusive
because the KKK s main goal was white supremacy. After the Civil War, many white Republicans
from the North moved down South in order to develop more economic opportunities. But this
meant that white Republicans brought their own political beliefs. For example, many Northerners
that moved down South encouraged economic developments models such as a free labor market.
According to David Hardin, a post Civil War historian, Northerners play a central role in shaping
new southern governments during Reconstruction (18). The KKK viewed these white Northerners
as moral threat to their political views, so they would write

To Be A Good President
I think hillary was the strongest debater. She was very professional throughout the whole debate
and she have her points straight. Trump lied a few times. He denied it when Hillary Clinton
talks about him wanting to negotiate down the national debt of the United States . He denied it
was wrong . It was the truth. In an interview with CNBC in May Trump said I would borrow,
knowing that if the economy crashed . He was lying in front of the whole world . This proved
that he won t be a good president for our country. We need a president who is honest to their
country , that know how to protect us, and that we can reply on . The second thing I want to point
out is that, Donald have an angry issue. To be a good president you need to shows that you can
handle situations calmly. Hillery did a good job staying calm... Show more content on

When Hillary was talking about the possibilities of him not paying federal income taxes, he
reply with That make me smart . He shouldn t have said that. He should be a good example for
the citizen. He shouldn t do anything that is against the law and doing something that is against
the law will make you smart. Hilary stated that he also labeled pregnancy an inconvenience to
businessmen and employers. Pregnancy is not inconvenience. It s natural thing that happened to
women and everyone should respect that. It shouldn t be labeled as inconvenience. Overall, I
think Hillary was more prepared for the debate than Trump was. He was angry at times and didn
t seem to be Professional. They both are more about blaming each other than focusing on
important issues but Hillery points were more clear and she seem to be a better candidate for our
country. My last comment on last night debates is that they were not affected debated for
president. They both focused on blaming each other more than focusing on the real issues that our
country is facing now. Honestly, I don t like either of them to be our resident but if i have to

Social Insanity In Medieval Europe
Insanity in medieval Europe can be classified according to social and religious violations. Insane
was one of the worst labels a man could get during the time of knights. By being labeled a
madman, a respected man could become lower than trash. Whether labeled insane due to
strangeness or for religious beliefs that differed from the norm, the fact remains that these
individuals were all outcasts from society.
Social Insanity
Definition
Insanity, in medieval Europe in the context of social violations, is the condition in which a man
or woman acts in a manner deemed outrageous or illogical by the common man. By being labeled
insane, a person would be lowered to the equivalent status level of an unreliable drunk. Thus
businesses could be crushed and lives ruined if your actions were considered as too strange by the
public.
Treatment
The so called cure of the time for social insanity was isolation, a process by which the potential
lunatic is locked up on their own until the patient either shows improvement or dies. When it came
to curing the patient, isolation sometimes worked, but it depended on the degree of infliction. In
some cases, a patient who wasn t actually insane was driven insane by the solitude instead of being
cured by it. Legally, the patient s land would typically be given to ... Show more content on

During the Middle Ages Europe had a society dominated by religion, specifically Christianity.
This extreme case of following doctrine also led to a new definition of insanity. Many thought
that those who had refused the forgiving power of God must surely be mad. It was believed that
when someone acted in accordance with the church, it was because of their God given soul;
however, if they did not, it was believed something had happened to their soul. (Tyrell 1) At least,

Lifetime Bans Should Be Utilized in the NHL
For any professional athlete, there is a natural assumption of risk to one s physical well being.
Players are constantly honing their bodies in the weight room not just to become faster and stronger
than their competition, but also to protect against the injuries that can ruin a season (Barrabi). The
National Hockey League(NHL) was one of the last professional sports organizations to issue
sanctions against players who cause concussions and head injuries. Just in the past season alone,
there have been a total of 44 suspensions in the NHL (TSN.com). Many of these suspensions
were assessed due to dangerous, and sometimes intentional, behavior. To many people, these 44
suspensions occurring in the past season may seem too excessive; compared to 2004, it is.
However, the frequency of behavior resulting in suspensions has increased over the past several
years due to rule changes and a new disciplinary council assessing said suspensions. Despite the
change in rules, some still intentionally commit acts of violence against opposing players. These
players defense is that they are trying to preserve the tradition and respect of the game by
humbling new, arrogant players who unnecessarily show off or target star players (Jones). Although
preserving this tradition is expected and necessary due to the violent nature of the game, many
players let their tempers get out of control. Because of various injuries, especially head injuries,
league officials should take a tougher

Cultural Issues In Salt Lake
Living in Salt Lake we are culturally diverse. There is a lot of people from many different parts
of the world and with those backgrounds we as people do things different and have a different
set of standards we live by. With this in mind people tend to do things that in their mind they don

compliance. Living in a city with as much cultural diversity as Salt Lake does, there is bound to be
restaurants that pop up with those influences. In one article it stated that a Middle Eastern
establishment was shut down due to 47 violations creating an imminent health hazard . With these
47 violations there was live animals including live sheep and dogs being kept and slaughtered on
the premises and chicken being stored in stagnant water. Kathy Stephenson. The Salt Lake Tribune.

Southwest turned its first annual profit in 1973, and has done so every year since a record
unmatched by any other commercial airline.[17] Southwest has used financial techniques such as
fuel hedging to bolster its profitability and counteract many of the fiscal disadvantages of operating
an airline.
Fuel cost containment measures
Southwest Airlines earned a reputation for being very aggressive and proactive about containing
fuel costs as a key to maintaining profit margins. [19] With fuel being an airline s most important
variable cost, Southwest s measures have become a model for the industry.

Southwest has a longtime program to hedge fuel prices. It has purchased fuel options years in

In 2000, Southwest said it had adjusted its hedging strategy to utilize financial derivative

  • 2. The Personality Typologies Of Carl Gustav Essay Personality Typologies Carl Gustav Young had quite an interesting mind. He believed that while he was growing up, his mother had to different personalities. Shortly after, he began to believe he was more than one person. He felt that he was both the child he actually was as well as a wise old man. Jung had a lonely childhood. He was the only surviving child of his parents and when he wasn t dealing with their completely opposite personalities, he was being left out when all the kids in school played. Fortunately, he didn t mind being alone, on the contrary, he very much enjoyed the alone time he could get to think about and reflect on events. Ever since Jung was a boy, he looked deeper into the purpose of objects and events, asked theoretical questions that no regular boy would ask and came up with possibilities that no one could take seriously. Carl Jung was born on July 26th, 1875 in Kesswil, Switzerland. Shortly after graduating from the University of Zurich, Jung became a Psychiatrist. He went onto founding a new school of Psychotherapy called Analytical Psychology, eventually becoming a very famous Swiss Psychiatrist. Analytical Psychology is based on the idea that experiences dramatically shape who you are and the way you live your life as well as predict the way you will be living in the future. This was also sometimes called Jungian analysis. The point of Jungian analysis was individuation. Individuation is the process of one forming his or her own personal ... • 3. Essay about Production Report on Thriller Film Production Report on Thriller Film For my production unit, I chose Brief 1: Thriller Film. This is due to my interest in them and the confidence I have in producing my own, which I found from GCSE television advertising work and in my ability to deconstruct existing films. In order to fulfil my brief successfully, I had to perform several areas of research, which will make the product look like products in real life and show that I know and can use the appropriate codes and conventions. I also watched a non Hollywood film, the French film La Haine . Comparing the two different sorts of films, emphasised the codes and conventions that I needed to use for my classic Hollywood film. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This was done by putting key objects or people in the vanishing point and a lot of use of doors to show the many possibilities. Another method of research was to find an audience s opinion, by creating and distributing a questionnaire. The questions were based on thriller film viewing and possibilities for a new thriller film. I asked ten people to fill it in and collated the results in order to find out what film viewers want from a film. I found out that people enjoy thriller films because they are very different to other film genres and they enjoy the suspense, that psychological thriller films are popular, that completely original narratives are preferred, which are realistic. That a fast editing pace and limited action and violence is important in a thriller film. A film on child abduction, as this is a particularly topical subject in the news at the moment, with a male and female hero/ine team would be popular. This means that my idea for the narrative of the film would be popular if it was made and released and that the film would have lots of suspense but little action or violence. This gives me a firm idea of what my film must contain in order to fulfil the genre and be popular. Planning My film is about a divorced father who has his child taken away from him by its mother. His love for this girl and his despair at ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Fee Fees And Detections Everyone makes bad decisions. If a person gets behind the wheel while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, they may be charged with a DWI. This is a serious charge. While there are some who may believe they can beat the charge without the help of a DWI Attorney in Bel Air MD, this is a gamble. After all, the legal process is often complex and, without a good understanding of the law, it can be difficult to know what to do to ensure the case has the best outcome possible. When a lawyer is hired, a person can t just choose any legal representation. They need to take the time to find the right person for the job. Prior Cases One of the first things to look for when searching for a DWI Attorney in Bel Air MD is the past cases they have handled. Are they similar to the situation the person is involved in? What was the outcome? Gathering a bit of background information about the attorney in question is the best way to ensure they are the right person for this job.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Prior to hiring anyone, it is a good idea to ask about their fees and how they expect payments. • 5. Jupiter s Heroic Journeys For our next Flagship mission to space, I believe it should be different from the rest of our intergalactic journeys. We have sent rovers and satellites to Mars, satellites to other planets, but we really haven t gone to far from the norm in today s space journeys. If we really want to find life on other bodies in our solar system, we have to explore our options. We could explore Jupiter, Venus, Encleadus, or even some of Jupiter s moons. But what are the main characteristics that are need to sustain life? Water is the most important in my opinion along with the opinion of many other scientists. So what bodies do we know that have the best probability of having water on them? Europa, one of Jupiter s moons we believe has some sort of ocean... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One would be to confirm what is under the crust, whether it be water ice or an under the crust ocean containing more than 2x water than there is on Earth according to NASA. If we conclude that there is actually water, then we can either send more instruments or humans to Europa to find out if there is life in the water beneath the crust. This may be a hard task to achieve since the water ice crust is estimated to be 5 20 miles thick according to NASA, which would be problematic, but if we could find a way to figure out if there is water, it could be the greatest discovery in space. Scientists believe that due to tidal heating, it would allow for liquid water to be stable underneath the crust. Tidal heating is when a moon orbiting a planet in an elliptical pattern is compressed and elongated resulting in flexing; this flexing of the orbiting moon produces higher temperatures, which is believed to stabilize the acclaimed ocean beneath Europa s crust according to NASA. Also, if we found there to be water beneath the water ice crust on Europa, there may be under water processes that are capable of sustaining life like there is on Earth. On Earth, we have deep water hydrothermal vents called black smokers that produce nutrients to bacteria that sustain life for tubeworms and giant clams and such. It is possible that if Europa contains water that there may be a similar form of chemosynthesis that would sustain alien life forms. To recap ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Algonquian Culture Analysis When I was a little girl, my grandmother told me an Algonquian story of a man and his family who got lost during the harsh winter so they hid in a den near a valley. Soon, whatever food they had was all gone and the family started to starve with nothing to eat. The man soon grew so hungry he ate his eldest son, thinking that he had plenty other sons until more and more of his children fell victim to his gluttony. As his wife, the woman could do nothing but grieve the loss of her children up until the husband turned into such a horrible abomination that he did not care about his wife s safety and ate her as well. Grandmother explained to me that those stories were warnings to our people and the results of what can happen if we commit the sin of eating manflesh. The man is now recognized in the Algonquian culture as the first Wendigo. It was my fault that we got lost because I didn t consider how far we were from our tribe, and the severe threat of the white men that we heard stories of. • 7. The Cultural Types Of Water Management Practices Due to influence by personal perspectives, ideologies, values and context, local culture is argued as confusing framework for water governance (Tortajada, 2010). It is different in any regions, because of natural challenges, systems of knowledge and variety of needs. In doing so, it may increase the complexity of water managementpractices, and should be attached to a specific culture (Jackson, 2006, Pahl Wostl et al., 2008). Arguably, it is not sufficiently valid and reliable to be used to guide water planning and policy. However, water culture provide reflective information about societal water practice changes that maintain through trial and error over long time (TГ bara and Ilhan, 2008, Pahl Wostl et al., 2008, Johnston and Donahue, 1998). This is a constant process of adaptation involving the redefinition of attitudes and behaviors(Johnston and Donahue, 1998). The cultural types will differ in their underlying basic values, beliefs and assumption making them a useful tool in understanding the circumstances that affect the policy. Some cultures have flexible water norms to adapt the rapid changes and technology innovation that generates new meaning for the environment (Jackson and Palmer, 2012). Thus, the necessity of capable institution is crucial to put the relevance of water changes and breakdown to the ground level (TГ bara and Ilhan, 2008). • 8. Storytelling In Storytelling Besides art based on nature, storytelling is the heart of Waldorf education. Children under seven years are introduced to fairy tales and nature stories. As they progress to an elementary stage, they are introduced to folk fairy tales where they learn about diverse cultures, fables which teaches them moral values, and folk fairy tales about ancient times and historical events These stories form the basis of basic education. As identified earlier, Waldorf educationemphasizes developmental learning. Children are not introduced to formal learning until elementary class at age 6 7. Pre school pedagogy emphasizes imagination and imitation of practical activities. The imitation approach aims at informing the child of the notion that the world is a perfect place (Ullrich, 2014). Thus, the educational approach emphasizes holistic conduct, character, and personality among the teacher and the environment. Pre school children are discouraged from using technology until elementary with the belief that it conflicts with the developmental process of a child (Woods and Glenys, 2006). At this developmental stage, children are using their power of imagination to learn and technology such as Television can expose them to unhealthy content. Besides formal learning, early stages of elementary curriculum continue to nurture imagination. Formal learning involves reading, writing, artwork, and handwork. The academic subjects in elementary grades are introduced through storytelling. Stories with ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The fear of their affair being shown in broad daylight causes them to send their child to live with his aunt. • 10. Example Of Communicative Language Teaching Have you chosen one of the best ways to teach your students today? Which one did you prepare? It will be better to choose Communicative Language Teaching as one of the approaches in teaching English. Communicative Language Teaching or CLT derived from communicative competence (Hymes, 1971). It is a teaching approach which has goals, teachers and learners roles, process of learninglanguage, and also can facilitate learning activities (Richards, 2006). CLT underlines interaction between students. In the Communicative Language Teachingclassroom, the teacher has a role as a facilitator who will only facilitate the learning process, not become a model. Moreover, the students are going to be more active in learning the language (Richards, 2006). Thus, CLT is a... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Briefly, by increasing speaking ability, students vocabulary, non verbal expertise and fluency in pronunciation will be better. To conclude, Communicative Language Teaching is a teaching method that highlights interaction of students. It is a good way to be applied for students because it can build cooperation among students by working together in group or pair which can make them share their ideas to each other and show their critical thinking. CLT also can facilitate activities in class which are interesting and fun such as the role play activities, interviews, and games which need teacher s creativity in the process of learning. Which is only a few inches long. The fetus has only begun to use reflexes really well. The fetus is actively squirming in the beginning. Though the mother will unlikely feel the fetusmove at this time for at least a few more weeks. The fetus is moving well developed arms and legs which mimics a child running outside the womb and putting hands and fingers to his/her face. We note that fetal activity is an early sign of milestones to come. These milestones are important in normal development. The fetus may develop at a different rate and different skills than another fetus, it is important that they reach certain milestones. If the fetus is advancing at a normal schedule we can come to the conclusion that the fetus is healthy and will not have difficulties. For instance, fetus can suck their thumb in the womb. Red Dead Redemption Analysis Essay Critical Analysis of a Game: Red Dead Redemption Professor Shawn Graham Jad Slaibeh 100804020 Submitted: Thursday February 7th 2013 The game I have chosen for my critical analysis is Red Dead Redemption. Red Dead Redemption was made, published, and engineered by a company called Rockstar Games (Rockstar Website). The major distributor of the game is a company who happens to own Rockstar, Take Two interactive. Being one of the most successful video game developers to date, Rockstar is famous for creating the popular and controversial game series Grand Theft Auto. I played the game on my Xbox 360 console. To capture the experience of the Wild West, Rockstar consulted some historical experts in the field, along with channelling a lot of time and money into the graphics of the game. According to a New York Times online article, Rockstar spent between 80 100 million dollars on developing the game (Schiesel 2010). I mention this statistic because this comes to show the new era of devotion Rockstar brought to video game production. In any video game, soundtracks can be an incredible boost in its overall character. The soundtracks in Red Dead Redemption are authentic; it gives the game historical flavour. What I mean by this is you truly get a feeling of the Western experience. Rockstar brought on composers Woody Jackson and Bill Elm. In a behind the scenes video, the composers explain that it is essential for them to find a balance, paying homage to what was there but also trying to add our stamp to the music (GamerSpawn, 2010). Another interesting fact they mentioned was the ability for the game to launch certain lines of music to start based on your actions. For example, if you jump on a horse, a bass line rolls in. If the player is in a shootout, the music intensifies. The music helps reinforce the player s connection with the historic west by creating familiar sounds associated with the Western era. The study attributed numerous factors to the rise in youth gang involvement, and highlighted the primary individual factor as mental health problems including depression, traumatic stress, and antisocial behavior (Merrin, Hong, Espalgae, 2015). • 18. Dbq Black Death In order to understand the significance the Black Death played in bringing about the decline in population in the second half of the fourteenth century, a number of issues need to be considered. To begin with, the Black Death s significance should be looked at, including its victims, the rural and urban population, and recovery in the 1350s. Also, we have to look at the impact of later plagues, and the age and gender specificity of them. However, we should also look at other factors that affect the population, such as fertility and change in marriage trends. Given the particular question we should also look at the pre plague population to get a better understanding of the population in general. It is only by studying these issues that we can... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The over population meant that more food had to be produced in order to sustain the population, however, economic changes and changes in climate caused bad harvests and famine. Unsurprisingly, there was a disproportionate rise of mortality among the village poor in times of famine. Falling temperatures caused severe harvest failures between 1315 and 1322, with the famine of 1315 to 1317 being called The Great Famine which is said to have killed 10 to 15% of the population. With so many people living on the edge, the succession of bad harvests were bound to have a catastrophic affect. A dearth of food encouraged the already high death rate and also affected the birth rate as it discouraged fewer marriages and children, and we have already seen the effects this had on the population after the plague. On the Winchester manors heriot payers during the famine of 1315 to 1317 averaged at 142 annually, compared with 48 in the worst years of the 1270s. Ieuan Gethin described the plague in Wales as being a rootless phantom which has no mercy but the famines introduced an era of high mortality which lasted until the Black Death , thus showing continuity in population decline. The Postan theory suggests that the plague did not start the downturn, but the damage had already been done before the plague, and the failure to repair the damage had been one of the causes for the delayed recovery. For instance the already high death rates due to famine made the Black Death merely a catalyst to decline. However, the trend is different all over the country, as Razi found for Halesowen. It is clear, however that famine conditions in 1369 also helped to reduce the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Religion is even just a way to unite people to war such as saying they are doing something in the name of their deity Both survival and competition, consequently have caused continuous wars throughout human history. Humans are always fighting since the beginning of time. Wherever there is an enemy, animate or inanimate, there must be a victory. You must prevail at the front, no matter how high the cost at home (Wilson 1). There will always be war for these reasons. Nationalism is one of the key examples coming from this quote and it is said for a very good reason. group versus group competition was a principal driving force that made us what we are. In prehistory, group selection lifted the hominids that became territorial carnivores to heights of solidarity, to genius, to enterprise and to fear (Wilson 1). Competition was necessary and it will until the end of humans. It has caused war but it ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Keeping God in the American Culture as Depicted in the Audio Adrenaline Song, Can t Take God Away Music has always been a big part of our culture. People sing and listen to songs for entertainment and for encouragement. Explore folk songs or Negro spirituals for instance. Although these horrors are uncommon here in the United States, I believe this statement still applies to our country. Freedoms are still taken away from people because of their beliefs in God, only on a smaller scale. For example, despite the fact that it is illegal, many schools prohibit Christian clubs from using all the resources that are available to other clubs in the school...all in the name of the separation of church and state allegedly found in the Constitution. Societal expectations are shaped by the so called Combine a mysterious and in the dark figure that is view as the puppeteer of the way society functions. In the Novel, Chief Bromden a long time patient at a psychiatric ward is the first to recognize the Combine and its powers. At the same time that this novel was written, the society of the 1950s was being challenged by a group known as the beat generationwho wanted to reject and challenge the stringent norms that the majority deemed as appropriate and necessary. While many members of society supported the beliefs of conformity, in many ways the need for societal misfits was vital to secure a community where all people would have a voice. While many did their best to challenge the Combine, in the end the Combine would prevail, but the ideas of those who spoke out would resonate with others. Essay On Option Pricing Option Pricing Paper trading really helps you grasp the fundamentals, However, when buying and selling options in the open marketplace with real money, things change quite a bit. During your simulations I bet you wondered about option pricing. If you wanted to geek out, you could use a complicated formula like the infamous Black and Scholes equations. TYPE OF OPTION: The type of option (put or call) is also highly relevant to pricing. Calls are expected to increase in value as the price of the underlying asset increases. While puts are expected to increase in value as the underlying asset s price decreases. The other factors discussed can also affect the option. Options for stocks that pay a dividend are often worth less because the dividend is priced into the option. VOLATILITY: Some would argue that volatility is the greatest factor in determining the price of an option in the marketplace. Realistically, all of the other factors, strike price, type, interest rates, dividend, are known, where volatility isn t. Since options are derivatives, stocks and options are interconnected. But at the local level, specifically in the South, many Democrats took the law into their own hands. They supported the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) hoping to restore the pre Civil War social hierarchy. The texts in Going to the Source illustrates two groups of individuals who opposed the KKK. In testimonies given by white witnesses, Republicans from the North felt the KKK posed a political and social danger in the South, but did not feel intimidated. The testimonies given by black witnesses were people who had experience of the Klan s violence, and felt their lives were threatened. The Klan s attacks on whites were more inclined towards social harassment, while their attacks on blacks, which consisted of voting intimidation and night rides, were violent and abusive because the KKK s main goal was white supremacy. After the Civil War, many white Republicans from the North moved down South in order to develop more economic opportunities. But this meant that white Republicans brought their own political beliefs. For example, many Northerners that moved down South encouraged economic developments models such as a free labor market. Insane was one of the worst labels a man could get during the time of knights. By being labeled a madman, a respected man could become lower than trash. Whether labeled insane due to strangeness or for religious beliefs that differed from the norm, the fact remains that these individuals were all outcasts from society. Social Insanity Definition Insanity, in medieval Europe in the context of social violations, is the condition in which a man or woman acts in a manner deemed outrageous or illogical by the common man. By being labeled insane, a person would be lowered to the equivalent status level of an unreliable drunk. Thus businesses could be crushed and lives ruined if your actions were considered as too strange by the public. Treatment The so called cure of the time for social insanity was isolation, a process by which the potential lunatic is locked up on their own until the patient either shows improvement or dies. When it came to curing the patient, isolation sometimes worked, but it depended on the degree of infliction. Players are constantly honing their bodies in the weight room not just to become faster and stronger than their competition, but also to protect against the injuries that can ruin a season (Barrabi). The National Hockey League(NHL) was one of the last professional sports organizations to issue sanctions against players who cause concussions and head injuries. Just in the past season alone, there have been a total of 44 suspensions in the NHL (TSN.com). Many of these suspensions were assessed due to dangerous, and sometimes intentional, behavior. To many people, these 44 suspensions occurring in the past season may seem too excessive; compared to 2004, it is. However, the frequency of behavior resulting in suspensions has increased over the past several years due to rule changes and a new disciplinary council assessing said suspensions. Despite the change in rules, some still intentionally commit acts of violence against opposing players. These players defense is that they are trying to preserve the tradition and respect of the game by humbling new, arrogant players who unnecessarily show off or target star players (Jones). Although preserving this tradition is expected and necessary due to the violent nature of the game, many players let their tempers get out of control.
